Still traversing through the facility, Wesker and Juri worked toward their goal of bringing down one of their top competitors in the market.

Working together to defeat all of the foes in their way, this sinister and well prepared duo had just reached the innermost recesses and prepared to meet their nemesis, the heart of the behemoth organization, Serigei Vladimir.

In their minds, it was the twilight of Umbrella. Their time would come. With Sephiroth by their side as well, even if he was currently working solo, they had faith in their plans. They were ready to make their own mark on the world.

In this time, Wesker took a moment to reflect on himself, his past, and how he came to be. He recalled the mansion incident, how he brought his S.T.A.R.S. members along to use them as test subjects against his ultimate creation, the Tyrant.

The very same creation that turned against him.

"I died once. I will never forget the cold, dark fingers of death reaching out for me. However, even that death was a necessary component of the big picture. The virus that Birkin created had brought me back from the brink of destruction. When I awoke, I was dominated by hatred."

Five years prior, right after Chris, Jill, Daisy, Barry and Rebecca had escaped the facility, Wesker had just resurrected after being impaled by the Tyrant, the man pulling himself to his feet amid the sounds of a self-destruct warning.

"After my revival, I found that the Tyrant that killed me was dead, and that the facility was moments away from destruction. I did not have time to enjoy my newfound life, I had something I needed to do."

Wesker had taken off his sunglasses, and tossed them to the ground. Sunglasses that were the property of Umbrella, which Wesker promptly stepped on to crush just as he made his way toward a laptop.

"Time to grab the data and make my leave," Wesker said, operating his computer. However he ran into trouble as the data itself was difficult to remove.

"Due to the emergency condition, all data has been backed up into the U.M.F.-013," the computer voice said.

"Sergei was busy..." Wesker tried again, but found himself locked out of the computer screen.

"Wesker, Albert. I am afraid that as of twenty-four hundred hours, I have taken it upon my authority to revoke your access privileges to the mainframe system," the computer voice said.

"Impossible! Who are you?" Wesker asked in disbelief.

"I am Red Queen," the computer introduced. "My primary objective is the management and protection of Umbrella Assets."

As she continued, Wesker promptly punched the computer screen, his eyes glowing red to match his anger. "You will regret this my lady, that I promise."

This marked the Rebirth of Abert Wesker, and his plans to take revenge on Sergei, as well as all of Umbrella. From there his main goal was to escape, before he would deal with his foes, both his former employers, and his former employees.

Wesker had narrowly escaped the destruction of the Umbrella Lab, and the mansion which hid the facility, aiming to continue his goals, but not without some allies.

Juri also had much to reflect on as she and Wesker continued their journey through the Umbrella Headquarters. This place just reminded her of her beginnings.

As a child, Juri lost her parents to a Shadoloo raid, an incident that cost her use of her left eye. As she grew, she joined the group S.I.N. as an agent, and took part in an experiment to boost her power.

She gained the power of the Feng Shui Engine, which would boost her abilities, and gain her a new bionic eye. However the engine took some getting used to for her, something she vented to after a recent field run which decimated a carnival, leaving many casualties as well as having critically injured agent Chun-Li in a fight.

Her only notable regret was hearing the cries of a young boy, worried for his mother. But that was something Juri could not afford to dwell on, there was too much fun to be had to worry about past regrets.

"Seriously, running out of power in the middle of a fight?" Juri said, back in a control room with several S.I.N. Agents. "This Bionic Crap, SUCKS!"

The leader, Seth, paid little mind to her outburst, and even seemed pleased with her work. "I am quite impressed. You beat that Chinese Interpol Agent to an inch of her life. And that wasn't even part of your orders. I thank you for the data."

"Oh whatever, I wasn't impressed," Juri said. "I hate doing things halfway."

"You seem to enjoy finishing your fights, like a true martial artist," Seth said.

"You got that right," Juri agreed. "I wanted to have some fun. I hate walking away before someone's dead."

"So...how did it perform?" Seth asked.

"It performed well enough, honestly it was pretty awesome," Juri admitted. "But, until I can take it all the way, I won't call it perfect."

"It is a prototype my dear, we went into this experiment knowing that," Seth reminded. "These results are spectacular."

"Thanks," Juri said, rather calmly too.

"Don't worry, we'll step up development on the engine," Seth reassured. "You'll be able to have more fun. You may also draw whatever salary you wish, and if you desire more than money, just ask. There isn't much I cannot provide."

"Please, you're going to bore me to death talking about money. I came here to have fun, and as long as I'm doing that, I'm not going anywhere," Juri flashed a sadistic grin, with a sinister cackle to follow. "So, when is it going to be ready? I'm already itching to cause more trouble."

"Soon..." Seth replied.

Returning to the present, Juri placed her hand on her left eye, grateful for all the power she's gained. She has enjoyed using it to wreak havoc on the world, and all those who opposed her. Like Wesker, she felt unstoppable, and believed in their alliance enough to do what they must.

"Things have been a little fun so far, but it all feels so limited. I really need to just go all out, and show everyone what I'm truly capable of. That is my goal here, to have as much fun as I can."

Elsewhere, having slain several zombies with no trouble, Sephiroth was seen walking around a lab containing several test tubes of B.O.W. prototypes.

Sephiroth felt a pain come to his head, memories of Nibelheim quickly rushing to his mind. It should have been a simple mission, to investigate the sudden appearances of the monsters appearing at a Mako reactor.

Sephiroth had gone, joined by several in the SOLDIER unit, including Cloud Strife, a hometown boy who hoped to either prove himself, or hide his shame.

During his mission, Sephiroth had gone into the old Shinra Mansion, where he made a terrifying discovery in a lab. He took one look at a monster in a test tube, many thoughts circulating through his mind.

SOLDIER member, Zack Fair had noticed Sephiroh just starting, and when he looked inside, he noticed the same monster, the boy looking terrified.

"What is that?" Zack asked.

"...You average SOLDIER members are mako-infused humans. You're enhanced, but you're still human," Sephiroth turned to the mysterious tube. "But then, what are those things? Their Mako energy levels are sufficiently higher than yours."

"Are they...monsters?" Zack asked.

Sephiroth took a few steps away, trying to process the situation in his mind. "Yes, the Shinra scientist Hojo is the one who created them." He turned to face Zack again, "Abominations spawned by Mako Energy. That is what monsters are."

"You said 'Average' member, but what about you?" Zack asked.

After a few seconds, Sephiroth started feeling pain in his head, the man holding it as he stumbled around in agony.

"Hey, Sephiroth!" Zack went to help his boss, but he was shoved away for his efforts as Sephiroth continued to struggle.

"Could it be...that I...was created the same way?" Sephiroth wondered. "Am I the same as those monsters?"

Sephiroth had slowly descended into madness after all, and became obsessed with what was known as the JENOVA Project, information he got from former SOLDIER, Genesis Rhapsodos.

From there, Sephiroth had gone on a personal mission to find JENOVA, burning Nibelheim to the ground in the process, as well as injuring Tifa Lockhart before returning to the test tube room, and encountering who he deemed was his mother.

His plans came to a halt after he was seemingly killed in battle against the remaining SOLDIER in town, only to reappear five years later, hoping to start again.

"My mother...she was meant to be the rightful ruler of this planet, before those humans stole everything from her. I told her that I would take her to the Promised Land. Cloud, Zack, and all those other traitors. They got in my way, and for that, they shall pay dearly as I fulfill my new promise. I will take this world for myself, and perhaps create a new army to do so."

Sephiroth pressed a button, activating the monsters in the tubes, ready to either tame them, or destroy them.

As things continued on for the duo, Wesker and Juri had just passed through a room, the latter noticing the amount of dead monsters scattered about.

"Wonder what happened here?" Juri said. "Given the gunshot wounds, and other injuries, I don't think Sephiroth is the cause of this mess."

"Hm, now I wonder...?" Wesker walked ahead, leaving Juri behind.

"You wonder what?" Juri asked, following Wesker. "Hey wait up. Geez, you can be so cryptic sometimes."

Wesker opened a door ahead, leading to what seemed to be a large elevator, but there was currently no platform. "Looks like someone already went down."

"Gee, wonder who?" Juri commented. "At least we know that Chris and his buddies were the ones who came through here. Almost surprised they survived what looks like hundreds of monsters."

"Chris and Jill are no pushovers," Wesker said. "Also bear in mind that they have Spider-Man and Quake by their side."

"I guess," Juri said. "If Spider-Man got bit, what type of zombie would he be?"

"A very unique one, that's for sure," Wesker said, then proceeded to leap down, with Juri right beside him.

As they traveled down the elevator shaft, they came across giant spiders climbing on the wall, to Juri's amazement.

"Oh, what if Spidey ends up like these cute little things?" Juri asked.

"Cute? I believe you referred to them as hideous before," Wesker pointed out.

"I was talking about the Lickers and Chimeras," Juri pointed out. "Spiders are fine."

"Somehow that doesn't surprise me," Wesker said, leaping down again, avoiding the shots of poison the spiders were spewing.

Once at the bottom, they were immediately greeted by a pack of Eliminator Monkeys, the group ready to corner them.

"Great, here come more of these freaks," Juri said, pulling out her gun and firing at the monsters, with Wesker doing the same.

From behind, a few Lickers had landed and tried attacking with their tongues, but Wesker and Juri were quick to leap out of the way and fired at the lickers, ending them in one shot. More came but the duo acted quickly to take down their foes.

Next was the Chimeras, Juri looking notably grossed out as she fired while Wesker maintained his calm demeanor.

"Where the hell did all of these things come from?" Juri wondered. "Guess Chris and his buddies didn't wipe them all out."

"It is a rather large facility, it would be difficult to eliminate all the monsters present," Wesker said as he finished off the last Chimera. "Besides, sometimes it is smarter to avoid a fight."

"Pfft, if you can't fight hard, then don't bother trying," Juri said.

Wesker led Juri through the monitor room, though as they passed through, many of the corpses on the ground began to spring to life.

"Figures," Juri said. One zombie tried to attack from behind but she did a quick kick to knock the creature's head off while shooting the others in quick succession.

Wesker fired as well, punching a hole through one zombie that got too close, kicking it off right after.

"Guess Chris got lucky he and his team passed through here before these guys transformed," Juri said, finishing off the last zombie.

The two pressed on through a nearby door, spotting a room that had been caught on fire, with a few zombies still roaming around. Some dragged their feet through the fire, and ended up perishing. Others just stood around until they spotted Wesker and Juri.

"What happened in here?" Juri wondered. "This place looks like a mess."

"I see the remains of explosives nearby," Wesker noted, gesturing to some destroyed canisters. "If I had to guess, Chris and his allies came across some foes in this room, and went to lengths to dispose of them."

"Guess if they destroy this base, that's one way of getting rid of Umbrella," Juri commented. She heard the zombies marching closer, prompting the S.I.N Agent to aim her gun and shoot them dead. "Still, it didn't even get them all."

"Zombies are no different from cockroaches," Wesker said. "A plentiful infestation that can survive just about anything, and even hide away in a corner where you least expect it."

"Sounds about right, and so infuriating too," Juri said. "If we destroy Umbrella, does that mean no more zombies?"

"Even when we bring Umbrella down, don't expect to see the last of the zombies," Wesker said. "Some Black Markets may still have the virus, and it may never truly disappear. But destroying Umbrella is likely to minimize it."

"Umbrella needed these zombies for military reasons, is that right?" Juri asked.

"That is one goal," Wesker said. "The T-Virus is not as perfect as they would have wanted it, but they found some use. However their ambitions continued to grow, ones that led to the G-Virus, and the T-Veronica."

"How do your plans compare to those?" Juri asked. "Do you think you can outdo Umbrella?"

"I have no doubt in my mind," Wesker said. "I plan to cure the world of its biggest disease and infestation. Humans..."

"Ah, that makes sense," Juri said. "Humans suck. These stupid heroes waste their time saving these worthless people. All they do is get into dumb situations because of their pride and ego. Why are heroes so adamant on rescuing people who are just doomed to die anyway?"

"Self-righteousness, that's why," Wesker said. "With any luck, even these so-called heroes will understand my vision."

"Big reach, a lot of them have way too big of an ego to see anything past their own illusions," Juri said.

"Such is life," Wesker said, then took note of the oncoming Ivy plants. "Looks like more monsters remain."

"Ugh, gross," Juri lamented as she began to fire. "What are those things anyway?"

"Plant 43," Wesker said, firing as well. "Umbrella tested the effects of the virus on plants. This is one of the results."

"Plants huh? Wondering if that's how that Ashford girl got her other powers," Juri commented, finishing off the last plant. "Kind of sexy though, nothing but little leaves covering her up."

"You would say that," Wesker said, leading Juri up the stairs. "Come along now."

As they began to move, they heard three more monkeys coming. Wesker used his speed to punch one monkey to a wall, leaving nothing but a blood stain while Juri kicked the other, causing a similar stain. The two aimed their guns and fired at the last monkey, killing it instantly.

"Fucking monkeys," Juri commented.

"Let's go," Wesker said, finally able to go up the stairs, with Juri right behind him.

"Kind of strange how Sergei hasn't bothered to check on those monsters he sent after us," Juri said. "Or at least send more to make sure we're dead. Did he really think that highly of his creation? Or does he think we're weak."

"He is no fool, however I imagine he may be distracted by Chris," Wesker said. "All these alarms blaring aren't quite for us."

"Guess it pays to stick to the shadows, for the most part at least," Juri said.

"Chris is causing quite the diversion," Wesker said. "Everything is going just the way I imagined it."

"Bet Spidey's causing just as much of a ruckus," Juri said. "He sure loves opening his mouth."

"It is quite humorous," Wesker said, reaching the top and finding a gap. "My, they really did a number on this pathway."

"Kind of wonder what exactly happened," Juri commented.

Without further ado, the two leapt across the gap, getting closer to their target as they approached the door on the other side.

Once on the other side, they started to hear moans, the two turning to spot some oncoming zombies from the distance.

"Aw, looks like a certain group of dumbasses won't be able to get to us," Juri taunted.

Suddenly some monkeys landed behind her and Wesker, each of them leaping to attack but the duo were quick to fire at them.

"Okay I stand corrected," Juri said. "I really do not like these monkeys."

"And I know you like those even less," Wesker said, gesturing to a pair of lickers.

"Ugh, stupid things!" Juri fired away at the monsters to keep them from getting close. "I honestly can't wait to get rid of Umbrella, it might do away with these stupid things too."

"I must admire, I do admire their tenacity," Wesker said, firing away at some more oncoming lickers.

"What's there to admire? They're just a bunch of brainless creatures wandering aimlessly," Juri said, keeping up her fire.

"They do their job as expected," Wesker said. "Applying this level of loyalty to more intelligent creatures may prove to be beneficial one day."

"Oh sure," Juri said, taking note of the zombies still on the other side, just standing around. "Imagine zombies that knew how to properly jump or climb."

"It can happen," Wesker said. "Perhaps they can be trained to use weapons as well."

"You really think so?" Juri asked.

"Anything is possible," Wesker said, opening the door behind them.

A zombie lunged out, trying to grab Wesker, but the man easily punched through the creature's face, then pulled its head off and tossed it aside.

"That was gross," Juri said. Suddenly a zombie tried grabbing her as well, the woman kicking it hard enough to tear it in half, leaving its guts spilling to the floor. "And that's grosser."

An Ivy plant was right behind them, attempting to whack the two with it's vines, but Wesker managed to shoot right through the creature's head, killing it instantly.

With the monsters dead, the two began to explore the room, taking a quick look around.

"Now what?" Juri asked. "Which way should we go?"

"We'll go ahead, after I short circuit the wire," Wesker said, shooting the device.

The two went through another door, spotting a group of zombies waiting.

"Were these left here?" Juri asked.

"Sergei went to far too much trouble for us," Wesker coyly commented, then assisted Juri in disposing of the monsters with quick successive head shots.

"You mentioned a second ago that some of these B.O.W.s could gain higher intelligence," Juri said. "You don't suppose that these stupid things aren't so stupid after all?"

"It's possible," Wesker said, continuing on.

"You love keeping it vague whenever you can, don't you?" Juri quipped, following Wesker.

The two came across another room with multiple doors, and many different ways to progress.

"What a waste of time," Wesker opened a door on his left, leading Juri through. "The computer room is getting nearer. Stay sharp."

"Yeah, I got it," Juri said. "Say, where do you think Sephiroth is?"

"He is doing his share, and we are doing ours," Wesker said. "Stay focused on what's in front of you."

"Yeah, whatever," Juri said, taking a look around the room and spotting a dead body on the ground. "Oh gee, wonder what this could mean?" The body began to rise, taking the form of the dreaded Crimson Head zombie. "And there it is."

"I will be honest, I hardly see these types of zombies these days," Wesker immediately shot the creature down. "Ada herself reported that they hardly appeared in Raccoon City. Sephiroth hadn't spotted any either."

"Lucky them," Juri said. "Then again, what does Sephiroth have to worry about? He has a massively large sword and has killed monsters way stronger than these zombies and all those other B.O.W.s."

"I don't believe either of us have anything to worry about either," Wesker said, shooting another oncoming Crimson Head that attempted to sneak up on them. "Still, I suppose the Virus just got stronger. That would explain why the corpses would become lickers rather than these crimson zombies. Of course even the Lickers were rare, given their lack of presence on Rockfort Island."

"Guess the virus is inconsistent, or it depends on the person," Juri said. "Especially if that person has a quirk."

"The quirk hardly matters, once a person succumbs to the T-Virus, most of the brain dies, including any functions related to quirk abilities," Wesker said. "Mutated people are one thing, but anything else is pointless."

"Guess people are just different in general then," Juri said. "I couldn't care less about this for the most part, but I would like it if zombies stayed dead after killing them. Weird to say since they're already walking dead in the first place."

"You complain quite a bit for someone much more capable in taking out these monsters," Wesker commented.

"I just call it like I see it, "Juri said.

"Quite often too," Wesker said, leading the way again, coming across another room with many paths. "These rooms appear to be repeating themselves."

"Feels like a maze, probably to confuse invaders," Juri commented. "How do you think Chris is managing through?"

"He should be fine, he, Jill and Miss Johnson figured out how to navigate the Spencer Mansion after all," Wesker said.

"You know, speaking of that place, are Chris, Jill and that Quake girl the only ones from the Spencer Mansion here?" Juri asked. "Weren't there others?"

"Yes, there were. Barry Burton, Rebecca Chambers, Richard Aiken and Brad Vickers," Wesker said. "Though, I do believe Brad met his demise at the hands of the monster known as Nemesis."

"You mean that monster Sephiroth mentioned that was chasing Jill, Spidey, a UBCS guy and that country couple through Raccoon City?" Juri asked.

"He was programmed to wipe out the members of S.T.A.R.S.," Wesker explained. "It would appear he at least got one of them before his own demise. Almost a shame, it was quite a useful B.O.W. Probably one of Umbrella's best works."

"They haven't really outdone themselves since then, have they?" Juri asked.

"If this Talos project is real, perhaps that will be their saving grace," Wesker said, continuing on. "Now that it will last long."

The two kept moving, shooting through a few more Crimson Heads before coming to the final door, the one that would take them to their target.

"There it is," Wesker said, then turned to Juri. "Are you prepared?"

Juri nodded once, a sinister smirk etching across her face, "Let's do this."

The two marched through the door leading them toward Sergei's Office, ready to finally unleash their plan on their foe. On the way, Juri stopped for a moment, the woman looking concerned about something.

Upon noticing his ally stopping in her tracks, Wesker turned his attention to the woman. "Why did you stop?"

"This whole thing has gone a little too well for us," Juri said. "Do you get the feeling that we might be walking into a trap?"

"Are you concerned?" Wesker asked.

"Honestly, I am a little," Juri said. "I don't want to doubt our capabilities, I know I'm strong. And I know how damn strong you are. But, what about the variables? Sergei knows who we are and knows what we can do. What if he knows we're on our way right now?"

"We've come this far, we cannot turn back now," Wesker said. "Besides, if the best he could do were those Tyrants, I don't think we have much to worry about."

"I don't know, things worked out unusually well there too," Juri said. "It seems kind of convenient that Sephiroth showed up when he did."

"He was nearby, and offered assistance," Wesker said. "Not that we needed it, we could have very well killed those beasts on our own."

"Still, do you trust Sephiroth?" Juri asked. "Isn't he known to betray people?"

"Since when do you concern yourself with trust?" Wesker asked. "To my knowledge, you yourself are not too trustworthy by that logic. You weren't loyal to anyone in Shadoloo or S.I.N. You've always done as you pleased."

"I don't trust Shadoloo because of Bison, mostly for personal reasons," Juri said. "I don't trust S.I.N. by extension either. But that's personal. Why exactly did Sephiroth betray SOLDIER and Shinra?"

"He had an epiphany," Wesker said. "Just like I did when I turned my back on Umbrella. Even after giving up my precious S.T.A.R.S. team."

"I guess..." Juri said.

"You are right to be cautious, in this line of work, you always look over your shoulder," Wesker said. "If you do not trust Sephiroth, well that is quite understandable."

"Really?" Juri asked.

"I'm no fool, I know Sephiroth can easily betray me, just as I know you can easily betray me," Wesker said. "How much do you honestly trust me?"

"This might be weird to say, but I don't feel too cautious around you," Juri admitted. "Yeah you can be cryptic, and you creep me out sometimes. But you're usually pretty honest."

"Honest? That's surprising, I would hardly call myself such a thing," Wesker said. "I'd advise caution against trusting me too easily."

"See? You're even honest about the fact that I shouldn't trust you," Juri said. "I know you could do away with me at any moment, and I am keeping my eyes peeled for that. But the fact that you brought me here, keeping me by your side, even knowing I could turn on you, it really says something. You're always a bit of a loner, but I seem to be the exception. What's the reason for that?"

"...You are quite perceptive, Juri," Wesker said. "Perhaps that is why I value your presence, and why I have some form of faith in you. You are not perfect, but you are much more reliable than most I work with."

"High praise coming from you," Juri said.

"I have been on both ends of betrayal, and my trust is quite limited," Wesker said. "That is why I find your loyalty quite commendable. Quite honestly, I have not fully trusted anyone as much since my old colleague William Birkin. He has confided in me things that he would dare not confide to anyone else. I was the first to know of the G-Virus, aside from his dearly departed wife."

"I know all about your buddy William," Juri said. "Poor guy couldn't even handle his own virus. Weren't you looking for his daughter?"

"Yes, but I must admit, she is quite hard to locate," Wesker said. "No doubt that S.H.I.E.L.D. is keeping a close eye on her, but all it takes is one slip-up."

"What will you do when you find her?" Juri asked.

"According to Ada Wong, she was implanted with an embryo, that if not for the efforts of Leon Kennedy, Chris's sister Claire, as well as Avengers members, Black Widow and Hawkeye, she would have surely perished from such a thing," Wesker said. "Theoretically, while she may have been saved from what her father did, she still should have samples of the G-Virus in her bloodstream."

"So you just want the girl's blood," Juri said. "Makes sense, you have been collecting quite a bit of blood samples over the years. The toughest one being the T-Veronica Virus."

"I will never forget how powerful Alexia was, but in the end, I have what I need while she fades into nothing but a mere memory," Wesker said. "I certainly have Steve Burnside to thank as well."

"I almost feel bad for what the little shit had to go through," Juri said.

"...Funny, here I am talking things over with you so casually," Wesker said. "And right after our conversation about trust. Perhaps I do have more faith in you than even I expected."

"I'm happy to be in on your plans," Juri said. "Of course, I've been doing my part too."

"You have," Wesker reassured. "You still have a ways to go, but you are getting there."

"I trust this makes me more reliable than Ada Wong?" Juri asked.

"Once again you have her on your mind," Wesker said. "Do you perhaps see her as a form of competition?"

"Barely," Juri said. "If there's anyone you shouldn't trust, it's her. She seems to have gotten all chummy with those survivors from Raccoon City. Especially that cop."

"I am quite aware," Wesker said.

"That guy we recruited too, the one from that mission in South America last year," Juri began. "You think he'll get very far with us?"

"If he plays his cards right," Wesker said. "If I may ask for your input, how much do you have faith in his success?"

"I'd give him a year or two before he goofs up," Juri said.

"Interesting, you seem to lack confidence in him," Wesker pointed out.

"He's just some musclehead who cares only about money," Juri said. "He's basically Balrog, but with a red beret."

"That is quite the comparison," Wesker said.

"I can't see someone like him in our grand scheme of success," Juri said. "Once we take down Sergei and destroy Umbrella, this world is as good as ours. He won't make it far in the empire we can build. And I can have all the fun that I want, with no one to stop me."

"There's that confidence," Wesker said. "I trust this means you are ready to face Sergei? No more worries of traps or betrayal?"

Taking a second to think it over, Juri confidently nodded her head, "Let's finish what we started."

"That's my girl," Wesker said, leading the way. "Come, we'll end this."

Wesker and Juri had just entered Sergei's office room, just as he was speaking to the recently arrived team of Chris, Jill, Daisy and Peter as the four faced off against his greatest creation.

"Codenamed Talos," Sergei said, speaking into a small mic as he focused on the monitors. "A pinnacle of biological weaponry, all controlled by the Red Queen computer. The ultimate weapon."

"Looks like we're just in time for something," Juri commented as she and Wesker approached Sergei.

The man had noticed the two agents, almost surprised to see them. "You got Ivan? Not bad comrades."

Wesker turned his attention to a red tube containing the Red Queen computer, "So this is it..."

"Yes, she was activated that night at the mansion," Sergei explained. "I extracted her just before Raccoon City became nothing more than a memory. She and I have much in common. For starters, she linked with Talos and helped make him. She desired more information and data. She wanted to know the truth, no matter how painful that reality may be."

"That thing is merely a tool, what it wants is what the user determines for it," Wesker explained.

"It's good that we can be honest with each other," Sergei said. "It is the sign of a healthy relationship."

"Tch, are you really that deluded? Things will be so much better once we do away with you," a wide and sinister grin stretched across the face of Juri, as malicious thoughts traveled through her mind. "Of course, we came all this way, so maybe we should catch up a bit more. Good-byes mean more when the time spent is spent well."

"Unfortunately, that may not go as you planned, for this friendship must come to an end," Sergei said as he raised his hands. Suddenly his intestines burst out of his body as he began going through a form of metamorphosis.

"What the hell!?" Juri asked in disbelief.

After a few seconds of transforming, Sergei had gone from a middle age man to a pale monster with a large red bulb coming from his mouth, tentacles behind him and his hands closed together with a larger whip like limb emerging from his body with a claw at the end.

Despite his sudden metamorphosis, Wesker looked unfazed by what he saw. More than that, he was just not impressed. "Your lack of creativity disappoints me. I expect more from you."

"As long as it gets the job done..." Sergei said, raising his claw. "That is all that matters."

"You can still talk!?" Juri asked. Suddenly she and Wesker had to jump to avoid Sergei's claw strike, leaping onto a nearby platform. "This just got interesting."

"Quite so," Wesker said, keeping his gun aimed as Sergei started maneuvering around the room. "I must admit, he is quite fast."

"We're faster," Juri said, placing her gun away. "I suggest we ditch the firearms and just take him head on."

"Do no not behave too recklessly," Wesker warned.

"Hey we can-WHOA!" Juri leapt out of the way of a tentacle slam as Wesker kept his distance, opening fire on his opponent.

"I hope that is not all you have, comrade," Sergei warned, going for another strike that Wesker quickly dodged. "You do not have comrade Sephiroth to help you now."

"His help is not a requirement," Wesker said, aiming his weapon again. "But rather, an added bonus."

Juri leapt to attack but she took a hit from the tentacle, sending her crashing against the wall. "Damn..."

"Where is your confidence now?" Sergei taunted.

"Don't get cocky, asshole," Juri said, getting back into a fight position.

Wesker fired at Sergei but the man leapt into the air, scurrying around the room, much to Wesker's irritation. "It is quite difficult hitting my target when he's moving in such a manner."

Sergei nearly landed a strike on Wesker, the man quick to dodge. Juri opened fire herself, barely avoiding one of his attacks.

"Wow, you're tougher than you look," Juri admitted.

"Still, what a wretched state you've come to," Wesker said. He went in for a strike but Sergei grabbed him, effortlessly tossing Wesker. The man was quick to land on his feet and blitzed behind his foe, spotting a large, throbbing and exposed organ. "I found your weakness Sergei, enjoy your pain."

Wesker shot the organ a few times, Sergei wrenching in pain, but it was not enough to keep him down. "Clever, comrade."

He then fired some strange organisms at the two, both quick to shoot the little abominations before they could land.

"That's some creepy shit," Juri commented.

Sergei then whacked the two, sending them crashing against a wall. He tried striking with his tentacle but both quickly moved away, though Wesker took a hit upon dodging, and was subsequently impaled by the sharp tentacles on Sergei's back.

"Got you," Sergei taunted.

"Wesker!" Juri rushed to help her ally but she took a blow from one of the flying organisms and was then whacked against a computer monitor.

"How irritating," Wesker aimed his gun and fired point blank at Sergei's face. Wesker was aggressively thrown against a wall for his effort, leaving a large crack where he landed.

"I hope you have some fight left, old friend," Sergei said. "I shall only grow stronger with each strike! Soon not even you can question the superiority of my power now!"

"Wow you love to hear yourself talk!" Juri mocked, glaring at Sergei as the power of her engine grew. "Going to be satisfying when I tear your fucking throat out."

"Coming here was a mistake," Sergei said, using a tentacle to impale Juri through the shoulder. "If you had stayed loyal to your little organization, you would probably still be alive."

"What's life without a little danger?" Juri said, grabbing the tentacle and tearing part of it off as she pulled it from her body, leaving Sergei wincing in pain a bit. "Danger is all part of the fun after all."

"You talk about fun like if this is all one big game," Sergei taunted, whacking Juri with his larger tentacle. "You naive child."

Wesker sped in and punched Sergei against a wall. He sped in again but the mutated villain managed to avoid the second strike, then grabbed Wesker by the neck and slammed him a few times before throwing him through some computers.

"Do you two still believe you can win?" Sergei asked. "To cling to such false hope. I at the very least expected you, comrade Wesker, to be more logical."

"I am no fool, Sergei," Wesker said, dusting himself off. "Those who rely solely on hope, are the ones who will perish first."

"If you want something," Juri said, stretching a bit to work out the kinks. "You go for it on your own power."

"So, there is no hope in your hearts, you are merely delusional," Sergei said. "How sad."

"You're the one who mutated yourself just to stand a chance against us," Juri said. "Just another ugly abomination, courtesy of Umbrella. And I thought Seth looked bad, but at least he still looked human."

"Of course neither of you would understand," Sergei said, extending his hardened tentacles. "You are blind to the true vision of Umbrella! You are blind to its greatness!"

"Wow, how cliche," Juri said. "Save that bullshit for the heroes. Assuming you live long enough."

"I shall live forever, while you two fade into nothing but a mere memory!" Sergei went to attack, the two once again dodging, both firing but taking a strong hit that knocked them both back once again. "I will not allow you to destroy what Umbrella worked hard to create!"

"Sorry, but I have a date to keep," Wesker said, keeping his gun aimed. "And you're in my way."

"I wouldn't be a good Wing Girl if I didn't help," Juri joked, keeping her own gun aimed.

"You can try all you want," Sergei latched himself onto a nearby test tube. "It will change nothing."

"Umbrella's time has come to an end, your blind loyalty will not avert its fate," Wesker said.

"Seriously, what is it with you and your determination to protect Umbrella?" Juri asked. "Are they paying you well? Or are you just that loyal of an employee?"

"When my land was ruined, I had no place else to call home," Sergei said. "Spencer gave me a home, and a purpose."

"A purpose?" Wesker asked. "My, how unoriginal."

"I passed the test for becoming a Tyrant," Sergei continued. "I gained my position by allowing them to make ten clones of me. The Tyrants are my brothers. My brothers and I will bring in a new era, for all of mankind!"

"Enough!" Wesker sternly stated, having had enough of Sergei's ramblings. "Where is Spencer!?"

Sergei began sinisterly chuckling, "Do what you wish, I can take any pain you dish out!"

"Wow, someone get this guy an Employee of the Year award," Juri sarcastically said. "Seriously, talk about a corporate kiss-up."

"If he refuses to talk, then we have no more use for him," Wesker said, firing away. "Finish him off."

"I'd love to," Juri said, firing herself at the villain.

"I will not fall so easily!" Sergei shouted, sending more projectiles at the two, both dodging and maintaining their fire.

Sergei rushed toward Juri, hoping to take her out first by swiping at her with his tentacle, but the woman ducked and kicked Sergei in the face, stunning him enough for Wesker to speed in and punch the villain through the wall.

"Still think you can take us?" Juri asked.

Seconds later, Sergei pulled himself from the wall, sinisterly glaring at the duo that opposed him, "I cannot be beaten!" He attacked again with his tentacle, both Juri and Wesker jumping out of the way and firing some more.

However Wesker took a hit and was sent flying, getting knocked through some computers.

"You gotta learn to quit!" Juri went for a kick but Sergei blocked and whacked her against a wall. He then used his tentacles to grab Juri, wrapping them around her body and neck.

"The only one who should have quit, is you," Sergei said, attempting to squeeze the life out of Juri. "You are a very foolish woman, and you have far outlived your usefulness to this world."

"Get...the hell...off!" Juri attempted to free herself, but Sergei wrapped tighter, crushing her body and neck, the woman now gasping for air.

"With your death, I will become one step closer to-" Suddenly Wesker dashed in and punched a hole through Sergei's back, his hand popping out of his opponent's chest.

"She will not be the one dying today, that honor is reserved for you, Sergei," Wesker said as his ally was released from Sergei's grasp, and desperately gasping for air.

Upon being able to speak again, Juri glared at Sergei, with only one thing to say to him, "Scumbag." She immediately kicked the man against the pillar, injuring him more.

Wesker and Juri aimed their weapons and fired once more, one bullet going through Sergei's head, the other going through his chest, and out the weak spot on his back.

Sergei fell to his knees, struggling to stand. "No...we are not done YET!"

Despite his struggles, Sergei had fallen over, finally dead. Juri seemed satisfied with the kill, but Wesker still had some business to attend to.

"Never should have tried going against us," Juri taunted. "All that talk just for you to end up as dead as your company will be."

Wesker had found a still active computer and began transferring the data that he had come here for. "Almost there."

While she was waiting, Juri had taken note of the monitors, seeing that Chris and his team had just finished off Talos. "Looks like our buddies had a bit of success. That monster Talos is dead."

"Well how about that?" Wesker said. "Chris has gotten better over the years."

"Helps having Spider-Man there," Juri said, seductively glancing at the monitor, while lustfully licking her lips. "Oh how I would love a chance with him.'

"You are quite promiscuous," Came the voice of Sephiroth, the sudden appearance startling Juri.

"Where the hell did you come from?" Juri asked.

"My business personal business is done, I merely came to see if you had accomplished your goals," Sephiroth turned to the decomposing body of Sergei. "From the looks of things, I'd say you had quite the success."

"No thanks to you," Juri said.

"I believe you were the one who insisted that my help was not needed," Sephiroth reminded. "I merely gave you a chance to fight on your own."

"Don't get smart with me," Juri said. "Honestly, you invite yourself onto this mission then go off to do whatever the hell you wanted to do anyway. I really don't get you."

"Your comprehension of my motivation is irrelevant," Sephiroth explained.

"Ugh..." Juri turned away in annoyance. "Freaking hate cryptic guys like you."

"Now, now, let's not argue," Wesker said, waiting for the computer to finish. "We're just about done here anyway."

"Requested data transfer complete," A voice said as a card was ejected from the computer.

Wesker took the card in his hand, "The summation of Umbrella on one disk. This should come in handy." He turned to the monitor. "Looks like we both accomplished our goals today, Chris. Just as I predicted."

"You have a lot of faith in Chris," Juri said.

"Of course, he was one of my best students after all," Wesker said, inputting a password just as the Red Queen glared at him. He looked up at the computer, uttering these final words. "Good-bye, fair lady."

Wesker activated a system wipe format on the computer, a countdown starting. "Data format initialized. Eighty seconds until completion."

The entire facility began to lose power, with nothing but red lights remaining throughout the building, including where Chris was, along with Jill, Daisy and Peter.

The four stood there in surprise, not knowing what to expect, and hoping more trouble wasn't on the way.

It wasn't long before the countdown ended, with one final update from the computer. "All data, erased." The Red Queen had shut down, along with the entirety of the facility just as Wesker, Juri and Sephiroth made their exit from the facility.

The trio were outside, finally done and ready to move on to their next goals. As they walked along, the alarms began blaring throughout the facility.

"Were we caught?" Juri asked.

"No, it's merely related to the troubles in this building," Sephiroth said.

"But we really should be moving along," Wesker said, shooting a large hook off a rope and using the momentum of its swing to leap on and catapult himself to the edge of the wall.

"Guess we should follow his lead," Juri said.

"You go, I have business to attend to elsewhere," Wesker said, extending his wing and floating off. "Till we meet again."

"Yeah, yeah," Juri said as the hook Wesker just used came back in her direction. She used it as well to swing up, leaping beside Wesker as the two stood on the wall. "So, what now?"

"Soon Umbrella will be gone forever," Wesker commented. "Though they held the T-Virus in their hands, they still lacked the proper vision."

"And I suppose you have this so-called vision, right?" Juri asked.

"Yes, the true vision of the future was purely out of their reach," Wesker said. "Now that vision falls onto me, and I will usher in that new era."

"Big goals," Juri said.

"Has Sephiroth departed?" Wesker asked.

"Yeah, not sure where," Juri said.

"Then we shall too," Wesker said, leaping down.

Juri placed her hand over her stomach, "Still want some food." Reluctantly she followed Wesker, the two finding their path out of Russia.

As Peter boarded the helicopter with the others, he felt a strange disturbance nearby. He looked to the distance where Wesker and Juri were, still feeling a sense of dread.

"Peter, what's wrong?" Jill asked.

"I can't help but feel like this job isn't done," Peter said. "Isn't there anything else we can do at this base?"

"We've done all we could," Jill said. "The army will keep this place secured until the Russian Government arrives."

"What about that guy who tried talking to us?" Peter asked.

"No sign of him," Chris said. "The main room where we found him was destroyed, the body of a decomposing monster was all that remained. Weird situation, but not a lot we can go off right now."

"Still, maybe I should do one more sweep," Peter said.

"Our job is finished," Chris said. "I understand your worry but sometimes you gotta know when to take a break. Besides, I imagine you want to be back home with your wife and daughter."

"...Home does sound nice, alright then," Peter said.

"We won't leave this completely unattended," Jill said. "Chun-Li is probably going to stop by with Guile and Cammy."

"Cloud Strife might come by too," Chris said. "He'll have his usual Party too."

"Cap and Stark know about what's happening here as well, they'll be quick to come by," Daisy said.

"Alright," Peter said, the hero boarding the helicopter, finally leaving the facility and making his way back home to Queens.

This helicopter did not go unnoticed by Wesker, with Juri right behind him, looking up at the sky.

"Till we meet again, Chris," Wesker said.

"And you too, Spidey," Juri commented.

The helicopter flew off with Wesker and Juri returning to their own rides out of the country, seemingly putting an end to all of this.

A few days passed by, Peter was sitting in his apartment, reading a book while his daughter Mayday sat on his lap, the girl fast asleep as Peter made sure to tend to her.

Twilight placed some toast with a cup of coffee on the table beside him, prompting gratitude from her husband. "Thanks."

"It's no trouble," Twilight said. "So, off today?"

"Yeah. Lab's closed and Yuri hasn't called me, though I might stop by F.E.A.S.T. though, Aunt May needs some help moving some furniture around," Peter said.

"You could use a break, you had a really scary battle with Rhino yesterday," Twilight said.

"Nothing I can't handle," Peter said. "I literally fought a giant alien looking B.O.W. a few days ago in Russia, Rhino is a piece of cake compared to that."

"When are Chris and Jill free? I really would like to invite them to dinner," Twilight said.

"I don't know, they have some really busy schedules," Peter said. "We'll lock them down soon enough."

"I hope so," Twilight said, sitting next to Peter and grabbing a book of her own. "So many problems in the world, how I yearn for peace."

"Me too," Peter said.

Seconds later, a voice came on the radio, "According to the latest reports, Umbrella has been found guilty of all crimes related to the Umbrella City Incident Five years ago. The prosecution has remained quiet on how they acquired proof of Umbrella's involvement. The defense plans to appeal the decision on the grounds that the defense is not admissible in court. The Russian Ministry has agreed to partner with the American Government, including S.H.I.E.L.D. to find the location of Ozwell E. Spencer. Mr. Spencer is suspected to have played a large part in the biohazard that contaminated Raccoon City. An anonymous witness proved valuable in providing evidence of Mr. Spencer's involvement."

"Looks like Umbrella is finally going under," Twilight said. "Pretty satisfying, isn't it?"

"Yeah, it is," Peter said, still unsure of the situation.

"What's wrong?" Twilight asked.

"...I just get the feeling that, there's still more I have to do," Peter said. "No...it's not just a feeling. I know I have to do more. Albert Wesker is still out there, same with his allies. Juri Han and Sephiroth. If I don't find them-"

"Hey, I know you're worried, but you already have a lot on your plate," Twilight said. "Especially here in New York. You're already worked up about The Kingpin. And I know you have guys like Shocker and Electro who are still a problem here. Don't start going crazy thinking about the What-Ifs."

Peter sighed in agreement, "I'll try not to."

"If you do go after Sephiroth, please let me know," Twilight said. "Remember, he's very dangerous. I remember how much trouble he nearly caused when I worked with Cloud and his friends."

"Sounds like a real nightmare," Peter said.

"Also, be careful with Juri too," Twilight urged. "Talk to Chun-Li, or even Ryu and Ken about that. S.I.N. is not something you want to mess around with willy-nilly."

"Right, more corrupt businesses," Peter lamented.

"Hey, we at least got Shinra and Umbrella off the map, so that's good, right?" Twilight asked. She kissed Peter on the cheek. "You don't have to do everything, just do the best that you can."

"Yeah," Peter exchanged a kiss with his wife. "I love you Twilight."

"I love you too," Twilight said, resuming the kiss for a bit longer.

Things seemed to be going back to normal, but just as Peter feared, more dangers were set to come.

In a dark room, Wesker was seen walking up some bright looking stairs as he made his way to a giant computer desk, taking a seat and preparing for the future. Many locations were shown on screen, including the town of Redgrave, and Kattelox Island, places he's heard of and gained some interest in. In addition, he even had an image on screen, showcasing a mysterious lab in Japan, and potential partners there.

He had recently heard about the fall of Umbrella, something he gladly played a part in. After all, it was his data that proved to be useful in dealing that extra blow to the company.

"My dear Spencer. How the mighty have fallen. Your Umbrella folded, and you're not a fugitive in the same world you sought to control," Wesker commented as he turned on his computer, then inserted a disc.

"Welcome to the Umbrella Archive," The Computer said. "Please select the desired service from the menu."

"I suppose I have Sephiroth to thank," Wesker said. "Even Juri. My dear girl, you are much more valuable than you believe yourself to be. Besides, everyone could use an heir. As a backup of course. Not that I could ever perish."

Memories of Juri flashed through his mind. The woman was sadistic, and he admired that about her. She was not someone anyone would dare willingly tangle with, and many times, has proved to be his best ally, and most trustworthy too.

Wesker may need her once again soon, for he still had unfinished business with Ozwell E. Spencer, and sought to bring an end to their quarrel.

"We shall meet again before the end of this drama," Wesker turned to face the screen. "Then, you shall learn the history, that I will write for this world." To this thought, Wesker flashed a rare and very sinister grin.

His plans were far from over.

That is all for this portion of the story.
