Looking angry at seeing her peaceful, hippy sister again, Nicole said: "What are you even doing here?" she jabbed her finger at her sister three times as she spoke.
"Take it easy, Nicole." Penelope pleaded. "You're ruining the good vibes in this house." Those words made her more bad-tempered sister even angrier.
"Oh, who are you to judge me?!" Nicole said defensively. She then turned away from Penelope, and shook her shoulder when Penelope laid a comforting hand on her.
"look, we know you don't like Penelope so much." Said Anais, "but I called her here to try and help you out, mom. You're being a little..." she had a nervous look on her face. "What's a nice word to put it? Kooky." She had a wide, nervous grin in her face.
"kooky?!" Nicole snapped. "What do you mean kooky?!" Her reaction made everyone around her scared of her in an instant. They all know her anger was not to be trifled with. Luckily, the cat woman saw her mistake and sighed. "I'm sorry. It's just been hard for me since Gumball went to go to Equestria."
"Well, sis, at least let me help you." She tried to once again touch her in the shoulder but Nicole swatted it away from her.
"I don't want your help!" Said Nicole. "Everything good happened, you took it away from me!"
"Stop it!" Darwin snapped. "Listen to her now!"
Sighing again, Nicole said: "ok. I'll bite. What can you do to help me, Penelope?"
smiling, the hippy cat woman said: "you should talk to a therapist or a psychiatrist to help you out."
"Well, normally I wouldn't do that but... ok. Maybe it can do me some good." She crossed her arms.
"Either that, or you can meditate with me, Nicole." Penelope said. "Nothing like good ole meditating to relieve any stress without a care in the world."
"it's not really my thing." The stressed sister admitted. "But..." she looked at her family, who had pleading looks on their faces, telling her to try and go through it with Penelope. As irritated as she was, Nicole would always put her family first, and turned back to her chill sister. "Fine, I can at least try that too."
"hooray!" Penelope clapped her hands together in excited. "It will be so nice to bond again, just for old time sake." She even hugged her sister close to her, much to the annoyance of Nicole herself
Nicole still had a sad look on her face and while the other three family members looked at her in concern, along with the therapist that they scheduled her with. "Now, Nicole," said the shrink, "can you please tell me what exactly is troubling you as of late?"
The cat woman took a breath like she has something big to say and, unexpectedly, she said: "Can you give me and my family a moment please?" then she pulled her family members to a nearby bathroom.
"Mom, what's going on?" said Anais, looking a little impatient
"I don't know what to say." Nicole pointed. "I can't just say to him that i lost my own son to a bunch of colorful ponies from another world."
"Why not?" asked Darwin naively
"Wha- Why not? Because, he will think i'm completely crazy if I told him that. Who can possibly believe that kind of true story? he might probably have me locked up in a funny farm for telling him this kind of stuff, and he wouldn't want to help me!"
"What's a funny farm?" said Richard
"A slang for a mental hospital or an insane asylum." said Anais
"Huh?" Darwin and Richard clearly didn't understand what she meant
"You know," said the little rabbit girl, "the kind of place for people who are deemed crazy that is not as numerous anymore?"
"Huh?" Darwin and Richard said again, looking even more confused.
Anais facepalmed herself at the stupidity of the male members of her family. "The place with people wear straight jackets on their bodies in padded rooms to keep from hurting themselves?"
"OH!" Richard and Darwin finally understood what the prodigy meant.
"Can't believe I am the only genius of this family." Anais thought to herself with her hand on her forehead again.
"You know they can't help it, sweetie." Nicole pointed.
"I know that, mom." Anais sighed. "Look, many things around here are weird and crazy, so maybe he will believe you."
"Not when it comes to creatures that come from other dimensions they won't." Nicole pointed. "He will order me put in a straightjacket for sure if i tell him."
"Honey, you're overreacting." said Richard, he put a gentle hand on his wife's back.
"No, i'm being realistic here."
"OK, OK, what else can you say to him?" asked Darwin
"Maybe... Yeah, maybe i can just say it is troubles with my first-born son." Nicole pointed. "That should make things go smoother." she took a deep breath and came out of the family bathroom with the rest of her family and sat back down in the chair. "OK, sir. So, i'm having... some trouble with my eldest son, Gumball." she clasped her hands together, looking ashamed.
The shrink began writing down some notes on the paper. "I see. So, what kind of problems have you been experiencing with your son?" he asked.
Looking even more ashamed, Nicole said: "honestly, it wasn't my first choice to come here, but my hippie sister, Penelope, suggested i should at least talk to a shrink."
"Sounds to me like she made the right choice for you. I am really glad she has done so."
"Right, well Gumball ran away from me to... Penelope's place, and it's making me dooshkabarbin."
Everyone looked at one another with confused looks on their faces.
"What did you just say?" Said the shrink.
"I said that since Gumball ran away, it's been making skadoosh kelang, sillblblblbs flopsy."
"It would appear this depression is affecting your speech, Nicole." Said the shrink
