The RKO Incident - Part One: Better Call The Angels
Drew Is Taken
Two years after the formation of the Angels team, Drew McIntyre arrived at the Union Station Nashville Yards Hotel. He had been approached by a guy after the WWE house show at Bridgestone Arena about doing an autograph signing for a kids charity and he would not turn it down. He never liked not being there for his fans, especially children. The problem was he didn't tell his personal security detail for the past 2 years, Drew's Angels. He had planned on meeting with them later that evening.
OK, the truth was he was meeting with his "special Angel". He had very deep feelings for Cherry, the kickass redhead who had stolen his heart. FINALLY, after two years of red-hot sexual chemistry, they shared their first kiss the night before. They were keeping things quiet from the rest of the group for now, but they were going to have their first date tonight after the show.
But the autograph signing came up. He sent her a text explaining the event and he would only be an hour later than expected. She responded: "Did you run this by Kevin?" He answered: "Do I ever?" She rolled her eyes & texted: "Be careful. I'll be waiting for you." As he was being led into the basement of the hotel, he told her: "Can't wait for our date. I want you so bad, my love!" He smiled big when he saw her response: "And when you have me, you'll never wanna let me go!"
Kevin Patrick furrowed his brow. This was getting old. Once again, there was trouble when it came to the protection of Drew McIntyre. He, along with the three handpicked ladies: Christine aka Phoenix, Lady Christina & Cherry, each possessing the perfect combination of crime fighting skills, had been his security detail since his big return to the WWE main roster. Since he was still pegged as the "Chosen One", there was lots of unknown enemy entities ready to strike and take him down. Their job was to ensure that he stayed on the path to the WWE Championship.
Kevin pressed the green button as he sat down groaning. He hollered into the speaker, "What the devil are ya doing? What business did ya get into now, Drew?" There was a pause. The burly Scottish voice answered, "Bloody hell! Must you yell?" Kevin was annoyed, "Uh yes, I do! You should be at your hotel by now. The GPS says yer not." Drew was annoyed as he reached the autograph area, "For fucks sake! I'm doing an autograph signing, then I'm going out. And no, I'm not telling ya with who! Bugger off! Wait, where the fuck am I?"
Kevin was frantic, "It's a trap! Drew! Get outta there. Get back to your hotel! God's! Why won't ya learn!" Drew was annoyed, " Christ! Yer always hollering at me!" Drew quit talking for a moment but came back with, "Oh shit!" Kevin was really getting worried, "Oh shit what? Drew. Drew!" He heard a familiar voice in the background, "Hello, Andrew. Time to give that title up for The Viper!"
Kevin hollered, "Drew!" The last words Kevin heard from Drew before he was hit from behind was, "It's Randal Keith Orton! Kevin! He's at the entrance! Please tell Che…" Kevin screamed his name into the phone several times before the line went dead. He knew there was only one thing to do. He activated the signal, then got his phone out, "Christ! Better call the Angels..." He moaned.
Enter Lady Christina
In the swankiest part of Hendersonville, in the banquet room of her posh country club home, Lady Christina Rivera was hosting a celebration for the mayor's daughter, who just got engaged. Christina wasn't actually a "Lady" by birthright. She gave herself the title when she started her high-end party business. But she always looked like royalty whenever she entered any room.
Dressed to the nines in a dark blue satiny gown with a slit up her right leg, drenched in pearls and diamonds, her normal tiara crowning her chestnut brown hair, she smiled as she greeted the guests arriving at the party. Then her diamond broach was blinking. She excused herself, going to her bedroom on the third floor.
She smiled, "Lordy. That man has brilliant timing. But my goddamn, is he hot in his suits!" She answered, "Kevin? You're late! You were supposed to be my plus one for this party! The mayor and his daughter just arrived!" He tried to charm her, knowing he had screwed up, "There she is, my beautiful Lady Christina." She was exasperated, "Cut the flattery, Kevin. What did Drew do this time?" Kevin explained, "Uh well, it's Randal. He's gonna try to take the title. Drew's supposed to be at the Hilton. His cell pinged at Union Station an hour before it went dead! He was set up! I've been trying to reach all of you since then."
Christina rolled her eyes, "Uh huh. The usual. The guy will never learn. But I guess we'd be out of a job if he was normal. I'll be at HQ in a jiffy. Where's Cher & Phoenix?" Kevin grumbled, "Still trying to reach both of them. God knows what those two birds are up ta!" Christina hung up and quickly changed out of the gown, opting for a slinky two-piece driving outfit in dark purple leather. She admired herself in the mirror, "Might as well be fabulous as I fight the bad guys...and damn, do I!" She went down the secret passageway to her garage and got into her waiting purple BMW, driving off towards headquarters.
Enter Phoenix
Kevin sighed looking at the next call. "Ugh! Christine! The thorn in my ass!" He pressed the Call button. On the north end of town in the Diamond Building, the goofy 80's one hit wonders played on the speakers as the two made out on the couch. Their kisses grew feverish as she stood up, "Sheamy, I think we know where this is going." Her jeweled hands pulled him down the hall to the king size bed, a trail of clothes already around them. Sheamus' accent got thicker as he groaned, "Are ya ready for a good hard fucking, lass?" Christine sat up after he tossed her on the soft bed, she rolled and writhed around in a fog of lust.
Now she sat up, calling him to her, "Come here and love me, you hot Irish daddy!" She cooed at the tall Irishman with fiery red hair looking down at her. He laughed, "Yer a wild lass, Christine. " He leaned over her, pulling her shirt off of her, covering her body with his as they kissed again. He raised his head at the interruption of the song, "Lass, what's that awful sound? Is that bagpipes?"
Christine screamed, "Goddamn it! McInFart!" "Every damn time I'm ready to fuck...ugh!" She rolled over, grabbing his shirt and sliding it on. She turned on the video chat, "What, Kevin?" He was stammering his words, "Christine, you look...uh...busy." She huffed, "Yeah yeah! My hair is messy and I'm wearing one of Sheamy's shirts again. I know. We were getting ready to have sex! Spill it! What did that doofus do now?"
Sheamus laughed at his woman, rolling his eyes as he picked his underwear and jeans up and got dressed. He hollered to the phone, "That tosser best friend of mine is always in trouble, Kevin!"
Christine sighed, "Yeah.! We were having a good time, Kevin. To say the least.", as he spanked her on the ass. Kevin mumbled, "Again, I'm sorry. I still can't find Cherry and Lady Christina was hosting a party." Christine laughed, "Oh, her party for the mayor's daughter? Kevin, you got balls. Great big platinum balls to interrupt that.", pulling Sheamus to her and kissing him.
She said, "And what do you mean you can't find Cherry? Never mind, I think I know where she might be. She was supposed to be on a date with some guy, but she texted about a half hour ago he stood her up. We'll stop along the way and pick her up." They finished getting dressed and headed towards the Ryman Auditorium in Sheamus' LandRover.
Enter Cherry
At the legendary Ryman Auditorium, Cherry was having a blast in the front row of the Midland concert. It had just started and she swayed her hips to the beat of the song. OK, the truth was she was miserable, lonely and sad. She was supposed to be with Drew on their first date. He was supposed to meet her outside the venue, but never showed.
She was kicking herself for believing he really wanted her. When they shared their first kiss the night before, it was beautiful. It was perfect. She thought it was love. She should've known she would wind up hurt in the end. She always did. He had stood her up.
She decided as she was getting ready to enter the sacred halls of country music, "You know what? Fuck this! And fuck you, Drew! Prick doesn't know what he's missing. I may hate herself in the morning, but maybe I'll finally let Mark find out for him! That'll teach his ass to stand me up!" Mark was the lead singer of the band and had a major thing for her. Now, could she actually go through with it? She knew for some time that she was falling hard for Drew and really had no interest in any other man but him. But she shrugged, "I guess there's only one way to find out!
She was getting into the song and of course, Mark started playing right to her. Pointing at her and standing right above her on stage as he sang. He winked and she blew a kiss at him. She was letting him know by her body language that tonight might finally be his lucky night. Her heart told her, "This is a revenge fuck! Don't do this! You love Drew!" Her brain and hormones screamed, "Shut the fuck up! He stood her up! Stay out of this!"
That's when Christine and Sheamus appeared in front of her like a splash of cold water to the face. Christine yelled over the music, "Cher, why haven't you been answering your phone?" Cherry looked angry, "What are you two doing here? I turned it off. The arrogant jackass stood me up and I don't give a shit. I just wanna listen to some music!" Sheamus said, "Ya have ta come with us, lass. Drew is in a lot of trouble." This stopped her dead in her tracks, "What? Wait, what happened?" Christine took her by the hand and started pulling her out, "I'll explain on our way to HQ! We have to make a plan to rescue him from Randy!"
Cherry said as they reached his car, "Orton is involved in this? This isn't good! They've had beef since way back…you know…the fucking whore!" Sheamus sighed as he started the car, "Yeah, believe me. I remember." As they were on their way to HQ, Cherry felt extremely guilty about her feelings from earlier. He hadn't stood her up after all. She asked, "What did Kevin say Drew told him before the line went dead?" Christine said, "It was something like, "I'm a doofus, gibberish, autograph signing, not telling you who I'm going out with, Randal Keith, and he said "Tell Che…" and that's when phone cut off. Gee! Che…sounds like…"
Cherry wasn't in the mood, "Don't start this with me again, Christine." She smirked, "Not starting anything. You guys kept disappearing at the party last night, you both have dates tonight…" Cherry said, "Yeah, because we are the only two people in the city of Nashville having dates tonight." Sheamus saved Cherry for the moment, "Lass, enough. Let's just get to HQ and focus on getting him back." Cherry sat in silence for the rest of the ride. As they arrived at HQ, they walked into the 8th floor, where Lady and Kevin waited, both looking a little disheveled. Christine waved her hand, "I'm not gonna ask. So, let's make a plan to save McInfart!"
