CHAPTER 2: Meet the Babysitters!

3rd Person POV:

It was just your normal Sunday morning for Hikigaya... Until he saw his empty refrigerator.

"With 8 mouths to feed, it's actually more surprising that it took this long for it to be empty." said Hikigaya as he closed the fridge.

He went to the living room.

Sora and Midori are both reading a book.

Akagami is eating some chips and playing some videos games on his father's old PS Vita.

Aoki is cleaning after Akagami's mess.

Momoi is cuddling with her puppy Shiba Inu, Sonny.

Kizuna is watching a badminton match of her favorite player and idol.

Irida sitting next to Kizuna, she is definitely been dragged there to watch with Kizuna.

"I'm gonna buy some groceries." said Hikigaya as he walk pass from the living room to the house entrance.

Sora, Aoki, Momoi, and Midori followed their father to see him off while Kizuna, Irida, and Akagami looked out of the windows to say bye to their father.

Hikigaya took off happily. He is so happy that he started skipping his steps, happily bouncing down the sidewalk without any care for the world.

BAM!

Hikigaya got hit by a black limousine as he try to cross the road!

"Again?" was Hikigaya's last words as he fall unconscious.

The driver went out, a man in a black tuxedo, grabbed his head with both of his hand and said. "Oh no..."

He quickly ran to check on Hikigaya's unconscious body.

He grabbed Hikigaya and placed his ear on his chest to check if there are heart beat.

The man smiled and said. "He's alive."

A beautiful office lady hastily got out of the car.

The driver saw the woman and said. "Madam Yukinoshita, he's still alive."

Yukinoshita Yukino, is shocked as she saw who is the one lying unconscious.

"What are you waiting for? Call an ambulance!" she said.

Time skip!

Hikigaya has been brought to a hospital.

He's just laying down on a white bed in a spacious room with a large window with blue curtains, a small decorative vase with an ornamental plant on it, and a white table in the left side of his bed where his things are.

Hikigaya sleeps in his bed comfortably. Both of his legs are broken and casted.

Hikigaya opens his eyes and saw 8 woman around his bed looking at him.

A 28 year old woman with shoulder length black hair wearing a white blouse, ripped jeans, a brown purse, and a pair of rubber shoes is Kawasaki Komachi, his adorable little sister who unfortunately got married to a bug.

A 30 year old woman with a long black hair wearing a white blouse with a black suit topping it, a black pencil skirt, and black high heels is Yukinoshita Yukino, his ex wife.

A 30 year old woman with a pink shoulder length hair wearing a pink shirt topped by a denim jacket, a white short skirt, a pair of white rubber shoes and a brown sling bag is Yuigahama Yui, his and his ex wife's best friend, also a vocalist in a really good band.

A 30 year old woman with long blonde hair wearing a white sleeveless peplum shirt, a black flared pants, a pair of black high heels and a white sling bag hanging from her left shoulder is Miura Yumiko, his classmate from high school and tutored in college whom didn't payed him enough and is now a not so famous celebrity.

A 30 year old woman with a shoulder length green hair wearing a black framed eye glasses, a checkered brown long skirt, white blouse topped by a brown jacket, a pair of white socks and brown leather shoes and a brown sling bag is Ebina Hina, a problematic fujoshi he knew from high school and is now the editor of his books.

A 30 year old woman with long white hair wearing a simple gray hoodie, a white shirt, black leggings, and a white rubber shoes is Kawasaki Saki, an old high school classmate and now Komachi's sister in law.

A 29 year old woman with below shoulder length brown hair wearing a white blouse topped by a blue bolero jacket, a denim skirt and a pair of chelsea boots is Isshiki Iroha, his annoying kouhai who's really big in the internet and Komachi's friend and bad influence.

A 31 year old woman with a greenish dark gray hair wearing a white long sleeve with a green necktie, a gray suit topping it, black fitted slacks, a pair of black high heels and a black sling bag is Shiromeguri Megumi, his senpai from high school and now Yukinoshita's assistant.

"This isn't my funeral yet, why are you all here?" said Hikigaya as he sat on his bed.

"It's my car who hit you, I'll pay for your hospitalization. That's why I'm here." answers Yukinoshita.

"Good. It seems like the medical expenses are cleared." said Hikigaya.

"I'm here because it's my job to be with Yukinoshita-san." follows Shiromeguri.

Yuigahama then took out a can of MAXX coffee and gave it to Hikigaya. "We are your friends, of course we'll come here."

Hikigaya accepted the can and then said. "Well, most of the people here I stopped seeing at least 6 years ago, also don't think I'm friends with everyone here." while looking at Miura.

"When Yui said you got hit by a car I thought you were finally gonna die so I came here to pay you my debt from college. I don't want you haunting me as a ghost after all." answers Miura as she grabbed her purse, took out her wallet and grabbed 4000 yen from it.

Hikigaya took the money and then said. "You know debts have interest right?" Hikigaya smiles at Miura which responded with a, glare that caused Hikigaya to just accept her money.

Isshiki smiled and put a finger on her lips and then said. "You owe me something senpai." which caused an immediate response from Hikigaya. "No."

"I am shopping with Komachi when the hospital called her." answers Kawasaki.

"I'm here because I'm your colleague and to say to you that your work will be on haitus." said Ebina.

Komachi then moved closer to her brother and grabbed him by the shoulder. "Who's gonna take care of your kids Onii-chan! You know you can't send them to me, I'm already taking care of my 3 years old twins, Okaa-san, Otou-san, and Taishi!" she said.

"You have children?" asks everyone to Hikigaya except Saki and Ebina since she already knew.

"Yeah, Onii-chan has 7 of them! All of them are really cute and good kids!" Komachi answers for her brother.

"They are annoying but cute." chimed in Kawasaki agreeing with her sister in law.

Ebina then adjusted her glasses and opened her mouth. "I agree, but I think Midori-chan stands out the most. She likes to read, smart but naive, and LOOKS REALLY EASY TO CORRUPT!" She started laughing maniacally that her glasses feel off of her face. "I'M GONNA SHOW HER THE BEAUTY OF INSERTING A BANANA IN A DONUT!" After her speech, she took her fallen glasses, put it on and started looking like a normal woman again. "Yep, Midori-chan is my favorite."

Everyone tried to forget what they saw and heard... They can't.

Then, after some time, Yukinoshita, Yuigahama, Miura, Shiromeguri, and Isshiki finally registered in their minds that Hikigaya has 7 children.

"SEVEN?" Yukinoshita, Yuigahama, Miura, Shiromeguri, and Isshiki asked in unison. "That's one hell of a wife you got there." added Isshiki.

"I have no wife they are-" answers Hikigaya but is cutted off. "YOUR WIFE LEFT YOU AFTER GIVING YOU 7 KIDS?" asked Yukinoshita, Yuigahama, Miura, Shiromeguri, and Isshiki in unison.

"Heh, the kids aren't even his, they are-" said Kawasaki but is also cutted off. "You let your wife cheat 7 times and then left you with children that aren't yours? You've got no game Hikigaya." criticized Miura.

"Onii-chan might be pathetic but he is not that pathetic you know! They might be not blood related, but they are Onii-chan's children and my really cute nieces and nephews." Komachi corrected them.

After hearing this, Yukinoshita, Yuigahama, Miura, Shiromeguri, and Isshiki got their respective reactions.

"Adopting 7 kids? That's really kind, and reckless but I guess that's what someone like you would do." Yukinoshita is amazed.

"I wanna see them!" Yuigahama said happily.

"Wow. Goodluck having time for your self." Miura is surprised.

Shiromeguri has no words.

"I wanna be part of your family too senpai!" says Isshiki.

Komachi turned to her brother and asked him. "What are we gonna do? You know no normal people can babysit your kids!"

Then, an idea came to Komachi's head. She bowed to the 7 other women in the room. "Please help Onii-chan! Seeing that there are 7 of you here, can you all of you please spare a day in your weeks until Onii-chan get out of here? I'll make sure to pay you guys generously by selling every high grade Pretty Cure figures Onii-chan has!" she said. "Erm... N-no, not all of them." said Hikigaya who is not willing to surrender all of his Pretty Cure figures.

Feeling somewhat responsible to Hikigaya's predicament, Yukinoshita immediately lends a hand. "I'll take the Mondays."

Surprised, Hikigaya asked. "Wow, you'll actually sacrifice one of your important "business days" for me?"

"I feel responsible for what happened to you." responded Yukinoshita.

"So you'll pay for my hospital fees and use your Mondays for 3 weeks to babysit my children?" asks Hikigaya.

"Yes." confirms Yukinoshita.

"Thats sounds too good to be true-." said Hikigaya.

"And I'm trying to get back together with you." interupts Yukinoshita.

The room fell silent for a second until...

The ever helpful Yuigahama spoke. "I'll take the Tuesdays!"

Isshiki then jabbed Yuigahama with her elbow and said. "Are you finally gonna make your move now that senpai is single?" Yuigahama won't respond but her blush is already an answer.

"Ugh... What do you two even liked about this dude?" groaned Miura as she point at Hikigaya. "And you, these 2 just declared their interest on you, what's your say in this matter?" she asked Hikigaya.

Hikigaya looked away, flustered. "I-I only love my children now..."

Seeing that her brother is getting uncomfortable, Komachi interrupts. "Ok! That's Mondays and Tuesdays solved! Who else would help?"

"I'll do it if Hikigaya will let me make a BL spinoff of one of his books." demands Ebina. Hikigaya nodded in agreement as a single tear came out of his right eye. "Allright, the Wednesdays are mine."

"No need to pay, I'll help. You payed for everything in Tashi's and Komachi's wedding 4 years ago. Time to pay you back." said Kawasaki. "You know I only did that so that I could request the chefs to put some laxatives on the bug's food right?" asks Hikigaya. Kawasaki giggles. "Yeah, the food with laxatives you have to eat yourself when you saw Taishi was about to feed your sister... I'll take the Thursdays."

"You'll owe me!" said Isshiki. "As long as it's something I could do." said Hikigaya. Isshiki then clapped in joy and then said. "Fridays are mine."

However, Shiromeguri and Miura has no reason to help him.

Yukinoshita faced Shiromeguri and said. "I'll increase your salary for the days you spend in Hikigaya's home by 200%." to which Shiromeguri agrees. "Ok, I'll take the Saturdays."

Yuigahama then talked to her friend Miura. "Come on Yumiko." she tries to convince her. "No, I won't spend my weekends babysitting." responds Miura.

Yuigahama leaned forward and blinked twice to Miura. "Pretty please?".

Unmoved, Miura responded. "You know that stopped working after we graduated high school right?"

Yuigahama scratched the back of her head. "Hehe, it never hurts to try."

But, being good in nature, Miura finally changed her mind. "As much as I hate to say it, you're also my friend Hikio, I'll help, but it's gonna cost you."

Hikigaya smiled. "Thanks."

Komachi jumped out of joy. "Problem solved Onii-chan!"

Hikigaya then looked at the 7 woman who is about take care of his children.

"I'm worried." said Hikigaya to Komachi.

"I think your kids would be ok." Komachi reassures her brother.

"No, I'm more worried about them." said Hikigaya as he points at the 7 woman who is going to babysit his children. He then took his phone on the white table on the left side of his bed. "I'm going to inform Sora of what happened to me and what's going to happen to them."

"You allowed your kids to have phones at such young age?" asks Yukinoshita.

"Oh come on, get with the times! Even kids younger than 6 have phones now." chimes in Miura.

"Oh no, it's just my son Sora. He the only one I'm confident enough to give a smart phone to." answers Hikigaya.

Meanwhile... At the Hikigaya Household's Bedroom...

The Hikigaya siblings are sitting in their father's bed in circle with Sora's phone in their middle.

"As you all may know, Father has been out of home for approximately 4 hours, and 47 minutes." said Sora to which his sibling agreed by nodding. "Father told us that in these situations, make sure that everyone in inside, lock all doors and wait patiently for him."

"All doors were locked hours ago." informs Aoki.

"I wonder what happened to Otou-san." asks Midori.

"Maybe he got an emergency meeting with Ebina-san about work?" theorized Kizuna.

"And not let us know? Papa always let us know." Irida debunks Kizuna's theory.

"Maybe Papa got kidnapped by the flying green boy and is now trapped in the Naverland!" said Momoi who is currently reading a children's book about Peter Pan.

Akagami snickers at Momoi. "That's stupid, everyone knows that Naverland doesn't exi-" Akagami's mouth is immediately covered by Aoki and Kizuna.

Kizuna whispers to Akagami. "You already ruined Santa and the Tooth Fairy for her. Ruin this for her too and I'm gonna ruin your face."

Akagami whispers back. "I was devastated too when I learned that Power Rangers aren't real, why am I not getting the same sympathy Momoi is getting?"

Aoki chimes in and whispers. "It's because Momoi actually tries to learn while you don't."

Akagami whispers back. "I learn too! In fact I am so smart I'm going to guess what happened to Pops!" Akagami then stood up and said. "Maybe Pops is kidnapped by an evil organization."

"Stupid." said Aoki and Kizuna in unison.

Annoyed, Akagami yelled. "NEVERLAND IS NOT REALLLLL!" This shocked everyone except Sora. "T-this is n-not real?" asked the teary eyed Momoi as she look at her picture book.

Midori immediately got to Momoi's right side and started patting her head. "Don't believe Akagami, he is stupid." she consoles Momoi.

"Yeah, Neverland is real! In fact, if you trade me some of your cookies I'll give you my pixie dust that I got from Neverland to make Sonny fly." offers Irida as she got to Momoi's left side.

The simple Momoi got happy because of her sisters but on the other hand, Akagami is having the worst time of his life.

Kizuna charged towards Akagami but Akagami's athleticism let him evade the charging blonde. "Let's talk about this!" pleaded Akagami. Aoki tackled Akagami and held him really tight but Akagami's too strong to be contained for too long and got free.

Akagami ran towards the kitchen with Kizuna and Aoki at his tail.

Akagami returned to the bedroom with tears in his eyes as Kizuna and Aoki has sliced onion at their hands. "This is too much!" screamed Akagami. Merciless, Kizuna threw the onion at her hand at Akagami but Akagami dodged it at the right time. The onion then flew towards Sora but he evaded it.

Sora could only watch as his sibling quarrel." There's never a dull moment." he said as he face-palmed himself.

TING!

The notification sound from Sora's phone got everyone's attention. The Siblings stopped all of their doing and encircled the phone. Sora opened his phone and saw that his father messaged him. He read his father's message out loud for his siblings to hear. "Got hit by a car and can't move for 3 months. There will be kind Onee-sans that would babysit you for 3 weeks starting tomorrow Monday. I know you guys don't like babysitters so please behave because I gave these Onees-sans permission to discipline you."

The siblings were silent...

"So, Papa won't be home for too long?" asks Irida.

"Who's cooking dinner!?" asks the panicked Akagami.

The panick grew until their father sent another message: Your Aunt will cook you dinner.
