Hello, my loves! As always, love to my girls wwechristina, Tm12Brady & GoldenGirl1920! Their reviews and encouragement keep me going and fuel mine & Christine's creativity!
OK...take a deep breath! Are you ready to see if the Angels can get Drew from the clutches of nasty Taryn? let's find out!
The Rescue
"Blood is thicker than water"
As Cherry sped off after Drew, Christine still stood outside in the cold Nashville night. She looked back inside at the others. They were her family.
Sheamus was her true love. The man who showed her what it meant. Although she never said those vows she once uttered to a weaker man, often as he'd sleep, she'd whisper her love to him. How she wanted to grow old with him. But fear kept her from revealing her real thoughts.
Then there was Kevin. He was her grumpy, serious cousin who was her voice of reason. But they were there for each other too. Christine realized fast that Kevin was more than the boss. He cared about her, even if she irritated him to no end.
Now she looked at Lady Christina. The two of them were total opposite. Lady was elegant and classy. Phoenix was bold and brash. Christine smiled a bit remembering that first Christmas when lady opened up the box revealing a broach Christine had made from her grandmother's old pins.
It was one of the many things Christine shared with these people who were in her life. Cherry saved her. Not only physically the night of the fire. Not only by giving her blood when she died on the operating table. The two shared a common enemy. A common hurt. Cherry told her when she woke up from the accident, "I gave you my blood, and they say that's thicker than water."
Finally, there was Drew. Cherry thought at first Christine was interested in him romantically. Nothing was further from the truth. Drew and Christine shared something and everyone knew it. But it was more of a twin brother sister thing.
Many times, the two of them would joke about Star Wars, saying they were the real like Luke and Leia. Christine laughed, remembering the last time they were all together at an event in Nashville. "Too much is adding up!" She laughed. "Explain." Drew said as he was getting ready for his match.
"Well, Luke Skywalker had a lightsaber. You got that sword. Princess Leia got Luke's friend." She looked over at Sheamus. "I do fancy myself as a Ham Solo type, fella." Sheamus puffed his chest out a bit. "God's, all of ya." Kevin moaned. "And Kevin is Obi wan!" Cherry laughed. "Nah, he's Yoda." Sheamus sighed. "Ya old bugger." "I'm positive yer older, ya salty bastard." Drew poked Sheamus. "Not again!" Christine laughed.
Five months later, they were in a real pickle. Christine took a deep breath, going back inside. "We gotta go after her." Christine said. "If you guys don't, I will. I ain't letting her fight alone." She slid her leather jacket on. "I'm not letting that bitch hurt my bro anymore."
Cherry
As the group scrambled to catch up to her and keep her from going it alone, Cherry sat in the empty parking lot across from where Drew was being held by that wretched hag. She looked up at the top floor window and saw the silhouette of Taryn pass by. Her anger was boiling, but she knew she had to get it under control before going in.
She also knew she had to explain herself to the Angels. They were her sisters, her family. She hoped that they would understand why she needed to do this. She decided to send them texts before turning her phone off. She sent her first text to Kevin: "Kevin, please don't get upset. I have to do this one alone. I know you don't understand. I'll be fine and back with Drew in no time." She then sent a text to Lady Christina: "Girl, you know I got this. Please don't be upset with me. I appreciate the Angels help, but this is my fight." Then finally, Christine: "Sis, I know you're probably foaming at the mouth wanting to get in on this. You can't. I'll take care of her for you. And Sheamus. And everyone else she's tried to destroy."
She turned her phone off after she sent her texts, making her peace with her friends and the only family she had known for the past few years. But first, she looked at a picture of her and Drew kissing one final time. For some ungodly reason, she felt the big fight was battling her own emotions, not Taryn. She got out of the Jeep and walked across the street, careful to not be seen. It was time to get the love of her life, and beat that bitch down!
HQ
Back at HQ, the gang had formulated heir rescue plan and were getting ready to leave. Lady Christina taking all the events plaguing her family hard, sighed with her head in her hands, "Kevin, I don't know what to do." He put his hand on her shoulder, "Don't cry, my Lady. Tell me, lass, what would make ya feel better?" She turned to him, "Hold me, Kevin. Please." She got up and almost fell into his arms. He walked her to the door. "There, Lady. Everything will be OK." He kissed her.
Meanwhile Sheamus and Christine were going over their plan. Sheamus said as he touched Christine's cheek, "Love, why don't ya chill a bit?" She sniffled, "I...I can't. I don't want her hurt." He pulled her to his lap, kissing her forehead, "She'll be OK. She's a tough ole gal. But were not gonna let her go alone. We can't." He held her hand in his, trying to smile. She said, "I don't have that much to cling to. I try not to have relationships."
He said, his voice cracking as Christine rested her head against his chest, "Stop that talk. The Phoenix wasn't reborn ta fly alone." She whispered, "The Phoenix and the Snake. " He said, "The birth and the rebirth. Us, lass. The two of us." The two couples got in their respective cars, setting out to help Cherry rescue Drew. They had no idea the danger that they were all facing.
The Fight
Meanwhile, Cherry was mentally getting ready for the fight. As she prepared to enter the building, she said to herself, "You better not have harmed one hair of his handsome head! If you did, it's gonna be curtains for you, bitch!" She walked in, checking every room as ascended the staircase heading to the third floor.
When she reached the second floor landing, she heard the two village idiots talking and laughing and immediately rolled her eyes, "These numb nuts never learn!" One thing she heard from Corbin caught her attention, "Hey Cap, we need to be done with this shit already. I can't stand that bitch! Like, I hate Drew because he's always made me look like a fool, but here's really no dog in this fight for us except the money from the big boss." Madcap sighed, "I hear you. But he's paying us too well for us to quit now."
Cherry's mouth dropped. So, Taryn wasn't really behind this, financially speaking anyway. She had a benefactor and help with her shenanigans! There was another whole layer to this scheme that they had not counted on before. It was another mystery the Angels would have to solve to keep Drew safe. But first thing's first. Time to eliminated the tramp and her morons!
Cherry found a lead pipe laying in the rubble of trash as she walked towards the other set of stairs. Corbin's mood changed back to "happy" when he said, "Hey Madcap! Tell me another joke!" Madcap thought and then looked like a lightbulb went off over his head, "OK. Uh. What do you call a Scottish mythological creature with wind blown hair?" Corbin pondered, "Hmm. I don't know, Cap! Lay it on me, brother!"
Just then, Corbin was struck in he back of the head so hard that he fell forward and was out instantly. Madcap looked terrified, as he saw Cherry emerge from behind wielding the pipe, and said less than amused, "Let me guess. The Lock Mess Monster, because of locks of hair." Madcap started to nervously laugh as he stood slowly, "Hey! Yeah, that's it! You're pretty good at the whole joke thing!" He started the charge her to take her off her feet, but she stepped aside and whacked him on the back of the head with the pipe, watching him fall to the floor. She shook her head as she stepped over him, heading towards the stairwell, saying under her breath, "God, your jokes suck ass!"
The rest of the group pulled up into the vacant parking lot when the saw Cherry's Jeep parked. Christine and Sheamus got out of her El Camino and Lady and Kevin emerged from his Volvo. Christine pounded her fist to her other palm and said, "They both better be alright!" Sheamus was concerned, "Lass, do not go rogue on us too! We can't afford it. We need ta stick tagether."
Kevin said, "OK, I'll run point from outside so I can check for any movements. Sheamus will go with you two. Good luck!" He reached over and kissed Lady Christina hard on the lips, leaving Christine shocked and Sheamus impressed. He said "There ya go! True son of Dublin!" Christine shook her head, but then got down to business. "Alrighty then! Well, Let's forget the smooches for right now. We gotta help Cherry. I just hope it's not too late!" Sheamus nodded with a serious look, "And just in case, I got back up."
Cherry made her way up the last set of stairs and started looking in each small room. But then she wanted to vomit when she heard that grating, screechy, nasty voice. That cackling laugh. The click of her cheap knock off heels. She started to charge into the larger room at the end of the hall, but she stopped in her tracks and her heart sunk when she heard the usual voice of Drew's, instead of sounding confident, booming and aggressive, sounding hurt and small.
As she turned the corner to glance in through the draping plastic dividing the two rooms, she saw her. Drew's heartless, wretched ex-wife, Taryn Terrell in all her cheap bimbo glory. Her nasty cold fingers pulling his head back by his hair, as she had Drew tied to the chair in front of her. She had a pair of scissors in her hands as she looked down in him, "So I guess I wasn't good enough for you. All that talk of what went on at the Playboy mansion. All those times you stuck up for me when those men said they had me. Aww, what's wrong, Drew baby?" Drew only took a deep breath, fighting his emotions, his voice strained, "The shit I went through! Cause I bloody stuck up fer ya! All lies! I lost my spot on the card! You acting like a crazy bitch after our fight, bad mouthing the company. And that stupid screenshot! Ya tried to break me, ya bitch!"
She laughed in his face as she waved the scissors around, "You think I cared if you had this dream? I thought you would be a champion! I was supposed to be the wife of THE CHAMP! Not some doofus playing air guitar with those two IDIOTS! No matter! I'll be your wife again! Because if you don't, I'll kill that little cheap piece right in front of you!"
Cherry stood in the shadows as she saw Drew's eyes gleam with anger and his voice growl, "Those so called idiots are more friends ta me then you ever were a wife, that's fer damn sure! Sad part is, all of them, they all told me to drop ya. Yer no good fer me. They were right. And I wouldn't touch ya now with a ten foot pole and a hazmat suit on! And I'm getting married but not ta ya!"
Taryn's voice reeked of sarcasm, "Oh, you're killing me, baby! Are you talking about that tall asshole Irishman?" She laughed, "I could have had him too. Funny, he always said he had respect for me. And that he loved you." Drew only hung his head, sighing, "That man is my brother. It won't pretty when the girls show up. They don't take lightly ta my distress."
She screamed, "The GIRLS?! Are you talking about the Angels? Oh! So cute! PUKE! Let me guess, another little touching moment about your mom. " Cherry gasped at her rotten voice. Her fists clenched as she shook her head. Now Drew shook his head, letting what sounded like a wail out, "Yeah. Ya never was a sympathetic gal. I poured my heart out. Ya trampled all over it."
As Drew talked, he saw the reflection in a broken piece of glass. The reflection of an angry, seething mad Cherry. His heart leapt as he wanted to run to her, but it was impossible. She caught his gaze, looking weak with worry, but he saw her mouth to him, "KEEP TALKING." He darted his eyes back to Taryn so she couldn't tell he was distracted, "All ya ever did was drag me down past hell and more than six feet under. I clawed and scratched and fought fer all I have. It's more than I did say fer ya."
Taryn ran her left hand down his cheek, "It's best to save your voice and energy, Drewy honey. You look so STUPID! The beard, all the hair...ugh! Just all so stupid! All this has to GO! No one likes a dorky-" She was cut off by Cherry hitting her hard in the back from behind with the pipe. Cherry hollered, "Bitch! How dare you say no one likes a dork! Or that his beard is stupid! Or spy on us, you stupid whore!" As she yelled, Cherry punched Taryn in the face.
Taryn stood up, touching her bloody lip, "Ah, we meet in person?! His new flame? The whore that's fucking my husband!" Cherry put her fists up, "Come on, you delusional bitch! Show me what you got!" Taryn knew the right buttons to push, "Have you ever asked you fellow Angel about me? The one called Phoenix?" Cherry's eyes grew, "What about Christine? What did you do to her?"
Taryn giggled like an evil little schoolgirl, "Let's just say I lit the match that burned her life UP! Actually, she should thank me. She was a timid little girl. Afraid of every little bump. Thought she married a good guy!" Taryn laughed, "She found out about us. We tried to get rid of her, but apparently some other worldly force saved her. That stupid fiery baptism story she says."
Cherry sneered, "Don't you dare talk shit about my Sis, asshole!" She spun around, kicking Taryn in her chest. Taryn got up, pulling Cherry's hair and then punching her in the face. Drew screamed when he saw her blood, "Cherry! NO! Where's the girls?", he asked as he tried to get loose. Taryn cackled at Drew's horrified look, "She's here all alone, Drewy! Oh, you surprised? She wants all the glory. She could care less about any of them!"
Cherry said, spitting the blood from her mouth out, "That's a damn lie! This is my fight! You have fucked with the wrong bitch, honey!" She charged, but Taryn caught her with a hard punch to the gut and a kick to the back, knocking Cherry on her face. Taryn delighted, "Let me guess, Drewy! You thought you had knocked her up! You wanna make babies with this one?! I'll make DAMN sure that never happens!", as she kicked Cherry in the gut.
Cherry got to her hands and knees, again spitting the blood out from her mouth. She looked up when she heard a groan. She choked on the word, "Drew." She looked up to see Taryn laughing and walking away from her. She faced Drew who was still sitting tied to the chair. She said, "Aw, what's the matter, Drewy baby?" She walked behind him, a bloody hand caressing his cheek, "I thought she was tough!" Drew almost spat his words at her, "Ya evil witch! Yer in so much trouble! Ya have no idea! It's not gonna be pretty."
Taryn looked down at Cherry struggling to stand up, "Oh, and speaking of pretty. YUCK! She's not even that pretty." She looked back at Drew who was focused on Cherry, the hurt in his face and eyes made him weak, "You had a type. Blonde with big tits… like ME! Suddenly it's this bitch? Seriously!" Taryn coughed, "I just threw up in my mouth a bit! GAG!"
She walked back over to Cherry, shoving her down. Drew pleaded, "Stop it. Damn it, just stop! Whatever ya want, just use me! Quit hurting her! Whatever you want!" He sighed as Cherry looked at him, "Drew, no! Don't give in to her bullshit!" Cherry got up again, his pain in those beautiful eyes of his fueling her desire to seriously hurt the vile bitch in front of her.
Taryn looked at Cherry who was sneering, "Oh Drewy! You're so dumb! Look at you! You're all full of love and crap for this tramp! Your emotions were always your weakness, just like that idiot Dad of yours! After I get done beating the SHIT out of her, you're gonna watch me...hurt her. Torture her."
Cherry roared, "Over...my...dead body! You fucking cunt!" Cherry kicked her leg up connecting with Tayrn's chin, The, she ran at Taryn, tackling her hard and backing her up into a wall. Cherry hit her so hard across the face, the once white wall became splatters with Taryn's blood spurting from her nose and mouth. Cherry taunted her as she pushed Taryn into the other room, "Come on, bitch! Thought you were gonna take me out!"
As Drew watched the two women fight, he felt his wrists loosen from the ties he was bound with. He turned to see Christine kneeling next to him, freeing him. She cut the rope across his waist, smiling, "Hey dork. Fancy meeting you here like this. I know your Scotland bestie is a member of the Kinky Party but come on. I don't see Jester anywhere."
Drew sighed, hugging Christine for a moment. "Christ, just in time! Cherry and Taryn are in there." Christine joked, "Woah! I know I like a good hug, but we got work to do." Lady Christina walked in, smiling at Drew and Christine, "Drew, thank god you're safe! Where's Cherry?" Christine pointed, "In there with Taryn. You ready to beat some ho ass, Lady?" Lady nodded, Oh yeah! I don't mind getting dirty for this one! You?"
Christine licked her lips and nodded. "You know it! There's gonna be a fire! That bitch is gonna burn!" She looked over at Drew, "Stay here, Dork. Our guys are here." She smiled at Sheamus coming in the room, who had to needle at Drew, "I see ya still have a way with the ladies." Drew rolled his eyes, "Really, brother?" The two women stood at the huge doorway of the open room watching Cherry and Taryn fight. Christine asked in a proper manner, "May I go first, Lady?" Christina waved her on, "Be my guest. "
Cherry was doing her best, matching every punch to Taryn's. It was only when Taryn was ready to punch her in the face, something came in between her fist. A jeweled hand was holding Taryn's fist. Taryn looked like she had seen a ghost, "Oh, not you again!" She laughed, but stopped when Christine backhanded her so hard, she fell at her feet. Christine laughed herself now, "Miss me? Did you actually think we'd let our girl, our sister, go at this alone?" She gave Taryn a kick across her stomach and added, "Oh, and if you bleed on my boots, were really gonna have a problem."
They allowed Taryn to get up, Lady Christina came in as well. The three Angels circling her like hungry dogs. Taryn coughed out a laugh, "I'm not afraid of you!" Christine sighed, shaking her head at Cherry. Lady said, "How about we take you in, and you get a nice padded cell, because your nuts, and we can talk about it?" Taryn stomped her feet, "I'm not CRAZY! Drew is MINE!"
Cherry said, "Sure you're not crazy. You're just a delusional bitch! Big difference!" Taryn walked up into Cherry's face, "He's weak, HONEY! And to think you actually love him with all that icky hair…" Cherry smacked Taryn across the face, she loosened one of her back teeth and knocking her into Lady, who slapped her to the ground. Lady smiled, "Oh, that felt good!"
Kevin, Sheamus and Drew walked in as Christine said, "Told you fighting is fun! Alright, let's finish this bitch off and go fuck our hot men!" They went to arrest Taryn, but she had picked up the scissors off the ground and stood up, charging towards a back turned Cherry with them grasped in her right hand, "DREW IS MMMMMIIIIINNNNEEE!" She attempted to stab Cherry in the back, with Drew running towards her screaming, "NO! MY LOVE!"
Then, they heard a loud bang, and Taryn fell backwards to the ground, holding her right shoulder, screaming like a banshee. They all stopped and stood still. Christine looked shocked, looking at Cherry to make sure she wasn't cut, "Did you hear a shot?" Cherry was looking around, "Uh. Yeah. I heard one." Lady also said, "Yeah. Me three." They looked at Drew, who looked like he was about to fall to the floor out of worry. Cherry said, "What happened?"
Sheamus held his gun, smiling at Taryn writhing on the ground, "Told ya I had back up!" Christine asked as he walked to her, "Sheamy, you shot her?" Sheamus shrugged, "I did. I'd never hit a lady. But she's a bitch. And she was trying ta kill Cherry." He put the gun away, looking over at Drew and Kevin, "Now if you excuse me, lads. " He pulled Christine into a violent kiss, tangling his hands in her hair. Kevin said, "Well! I guess we'd better tell the proper authorities." He smiled at Lady, who had her arms around his neck. She nuzzled his neck, giving him a kiss, "You're the only authority I'm concerned with."
Drew was staring at his two friends kiss their two Angels. His eyes then locked with Cherry, who was wiping the blood from her mouth. She breathed a huge sigh of relief, slowly walking to him. He shouted, "Oh, fuck that!", and broke into a run. He picked her up and hugged her, "Oh god! I thought I was gonna lose ya, my Love!" He sat her down and cupped her face, looking at the damage of Taryn's punches. Cherry shrugged, "I've fought tougher than her!", then smiled at him.
Drew pulled Cherry gently to his body. She looked him in his eyes and smirked, "You OK, Andrew?" He sighed when she laid her head to his chest, "Yeah, I'm better now. And I told ya never ta call me that." She raised her eyebrow, "I'll call you whatever I want to call you." He gave her than heart melting big, dimpled grin and said, "Soon, ya can call me yer husband. And I'll call ya the wife." She laughed, "Goddamn it! I love you, you big dork." He put his face on hers and said, "I love ya too! Gods, I love ya so much!" He kissed her deeply but gently, trying not to hurt her face. It was a perfect lovers' kiss as Taryn lay screaming and thrashing in anger and jealousy.
Kevin announced. "Just to let everyone know, I alerted the authorities. They'll be here in ten minutes." Cherry said, "Did you find Madcap and Corbin where I left them downstairs?" Kevin shook his head, "They must've gotten away." Sheamus said in-between kissing Christine, "We'll worry about those two gits later. Let's get outta here, Lass. I'm tired, I'm hungry, and I have other problems I don't care to talk about." Drew said with a chuckle as he stepped over Taryn with his arm around Cherry, "If it's like mine, it's trouble in yer pants, brother." Sheamus laughed, "Ya guessed it!", with a fist bump. Christine laughed and said, "OK let's get out of here! See you all back at HQ!"
