OK, let's wrap up this great day in the lives of the Angels by paying a visit to a beautiful soul! Enjoy!

Angels In Scotland: Part 17 - Angela

Two days after the Waterfront brawl leading to Drew and Sheamus almost being arrested, the group had gathered at Andy Galloway's house and made plans for Drew and Cherry's wedding that morning. And now, after getting the dresses for the wedding and meeting up with Cherry's dear friend, Krystal, they were heading to the cemetery for a visit to Angela's grave. What a difference two days can make.

Drew and Cherry had been content in the bed and breakfast home that they discovered during a walk they shared, wanting some peace and quiet from all the chaos that had happened. Christine and Sheamus had been hanging out at Jester's Sexy House of Sexy Sex, with Jester and Stu checking in on them the morning after.

Denise and Randy had gone back to their hotel, excited over their future with each other. They were going to be parents. They were in love. Denise was super excited to become an Angel after they offered her a spot. Randy was relieved to have made up with Drew and Sheamus, his redemption story was now resolved. Kevin and Lady Christina had slept at their hotel.

With all the action for the past few days, Lady Christina wondered if Kevin wanted to marry her. She felt uncomfortable bringing it up, but seeing both Drew and Sheamus profess their love to Cherry and Christine, she felt a little left out. It probably was her hormones. Like Cherry and Denise, she and Kevin were expecting their own baby. Lady also struggled with the need to tell Christine that she was in fact related to Alyssa, the young girl that ran to HQ for their protection.

Kevin was happy and relieved to have the Angels together and Drew and Sheamus were safe. He had barely slept, his Lady at his side in the car as he held her. So many thoughts running through his head like an out-of-control train. Would be a good father? How would the babies change the Angels? Were there more opportunities for someone to try to sabotage their lives and family?

Jester drove to the cemetery Stu, Kevin, Lady, Randy and Denise in his van, the Sin Wagon. Andy's car contained Drew, Cherry, Sheamus and Christine. Papa Andy was elated over Sheamus asking for Christine's hand in marriage and had made a few calls with more family members telling them about Drew's upcoming marriage and fatherhood. Andy smiled as he looked back at his first-born son. Drew looked like he finally slept well for the first time since they came to Scotland. Cherry was all smiles as she rested her head on Drew's shoulder, holding his hand. The closer they got to the cemetery, the sadder his expression turned. She leaned over and kissed his cheek and put her forehead to his ear.

The whole gang pulled up on the road inside the cemetery at the bottom of the hill from Angela's final resting place. Drew found his brother, John, waiting for them and embraced him tightly. Drew turned to his loved ones, shaking from the cold and trying to rein in his emotions, "I'm gonna try ta put into words about today. About the last few days. All of this bullshit tested our family. And we passed the test. It was sa hard. Our love, our bonds were trying ta be broken. But we survived. We held it tagather. Cherry and I gonna have a marriage and two beautiful babies. Our family has more marriages and babies ta come. Today, we go see Mum. The girls have never seen her grave. This has always been the most difficult part fer me. Seeing where she's resting, knowing she's not here ta hug me and tell me she's proud of me. But she's here with all of us. I feel it. And in nine months er sa, they'll be another piece of her in tha world."

He sighed and rubbed Cherry's lower tummy, who turned to him and buried her face in his chest. Papa Andy hugged Drew, "Well said, Son. She is here. And she is sa proud of ya, Drew. She's proud of all of ya." Drew nodded and asked, "Is it OK if Cherry and I go up there by ourselves first?" Andy nodded, "Of course, Drew. Ya need ta introduce her to the new members of tha Galloway clan!"

As they walked up the hill, Cherry could sense the tension in his body. She squeezed his hand and asked, "Are you OK, Drew?" He nodded, sighing, "Yeah. I'm ok, my Love. I just miss her." Cherry whispered "I know, baby. I'm right here beside you. I can't wait to meet her." Drew looked down at the team, the Angels he thought of as his sisters, his wrestling friends who he loved like brothers, his dad and his brother.

Christine, who was standing aside with Sheamus on her right and Jester on her left, silently cried. Sheamus wrapped his arm around her as Jester held her hand. She said, "Sorry guys. I just...I can feel his loss. His pain. Stupid Gemini thing." Sheamus said, "And it's fine, Lass. It's not stupid. It's quite a beautiful thing." Jester nodded "Yep, what the big man said. Drew's our brother. All of us are connected. Ma Angela always said there was a girl out there. She said we have a sister. Here ya are, Doll." Jester sniffled, embracing Christine.

She walked off on her own without even realizing it. Christine stared off into space wondering through the old tombstones, wrestling with her own thoughts. Sheamus caught up to her, "Wondered were ya went, Lass." She came out of her blankness, "Sorry. Just thinking." He asked, "What's in yer head, Lass?" She shrugged, "I just...I'm glad we're all good. All of us are back in a good place. Drew and Cherry are strong. We're all reunited. Drew forgave Randy. The girls are all having babies."

He snaked his arm around her waist, holding her to him and they kissed, "Which means we're gonna be babysitters." Her face turned sullen and withdrawn, "Stephen, I was so afraid. Afraid I'd not see you again. Scared that we'd be parted forever." He shook his head, "That'd never happen, Lass. Nothing could keep me from ya. Not any man, no one. I'd fight ta have ya next ta me."

He sighed deeply when she laid her head on his chest, smiling as he thought about their future together. She whispered against his chest, "I know that. I almost killed that bitch. When I saw Cherry out and helpless because of her, I lost it. I probably would have murdered the whore had Cherry lost…" She started to shake with anger at the thought of the babies not making it through the ordeal.

Sheamus held her tighter, "But she's a tough bird. And the twins are safe inside of her. Drew did what he had ta do to keep them safe. As did I. I did kill that low life piece of trash." She murmured, "That scared me." He told her, "I snapped. He said he'd hurt ya again. When he talked about what he did and what he planned ta da ta ya, all the pain turned to rage. Once I started hitting him, I didn't stop." He shook his head.

Christine sighed, "My protector and my superman.", pulling him to her lips again, the heat and passion building. She pulled back slightly and said, "I'll always protect ya, my Lass. I can't wait til yer Mrs. Stephen Farrelly. Ya really are my life, Christine." She wiped a tear from her eye, "And you're mine, Stephen." He kissed her forehead, "We'd better rejoin our family, Lass. It's important that we see Ma Angela's grave. It's sa important ta Drew." She agreed, "Yeah, I only caught a glimpse of it when I went to get Drew with Jester."

Drew and Cherry walked to the gray tombstone rising from the ground. Cherry silently looked at it and read to herself: Loving Wife and Mother. Angela Anne Galloway. Drew only ran his hand over the letters, clearing his throat, "Hi Mom. I've missed ya so much. Ya said I'd find a woman who's going ta be my wife and we'd have babies. Well, I found her in America just like ya said I would. I found her in Nashville. She's healed my heart and given me my true purpose. And she's given me babies. Like I told ya the other night, I'm gonna be a dad! We're getting married in two days. She's given me reason ta live."

He looked over at Cherry, smiling, "Here she is. Cher…Leslie, this is my mom, Angela. Mom, this is Leslie. She's my Love and the mother of my twins. Isn't she the most beautiful girl ye've ever seen?" Cherry wrapped her arm around Drew's waist, looking at the stone, "Hello, Mom. God, I haven't called anyone that since my mom passed!"

She wiped as tear from her face and continued, "I love him, Mom. I love Drew more than anyone and anything. I spend a huge chunk of my life searching for something and not knowing what, or who, I was looking for. And then, I found him. He is amazing, loving, perfect, and incredible handsome. But as much as he says I healed him, your son saved me. He rescued me. And yes, he healed my heart and made me believe in love and happy endings again. Thank you for having such a wonderful son who's an even better human being." She looked at Drew, who smiled that beautiful, brilliant, dimpled smile at her.

The rest of the group had made their way up the hill as Drew held Cherry in a tight embrace. Andy and John approached them, and wrapped them both in their arms. John said, "We miss ya so much, Mom. Ya have Ian, and now yer gonna her two more grandchildren that will have yer spark of life." Andy's tears flowed as he lamented, "Ain't ya proud of our boys, my dear? They both found good women ta love them as ya loved me. I know yer proud of them. We love ya sa much."

Drew came out of the embrace and blinked his tears, "Everyone's here, Mom. Stephen, Leigh, and yes, Stu." He laughed, "And we have new friends. Randy, and Kevin. And their women Christine and Lady. There's gonna be a bunch of wee ones running around soon. I know ya'd love it." Drew looked over at Sheamus and Christine as they walked over to them.

The two longtime friends hugged tightly. Sheamus said, "Fella." Drew said, "Brother." Drew sighed, now hugging Christine as well, "Phoen." Sheamus sighed, looking at the stone, "Ma Angela, "Ya took me in, a crazy kid from Dublin. A runaway. A hooligan. Ya loved me like I was yer own. Taught me. Helped me become a man. Now I got me a gal. She's completed me, Ma. I'm gonna marry her."

He smiled as he held Christine, "My beautiful Lass. My fiery Phoenix." Christine sighed as Sheamus kissed her forehead, "Mum, I know you're up there. I know you're with my parents and Cherry's mom. Hopefully my dad isn't causing any trouble. I love this man, Stephen. I love your son like a brother. Cherry is the sister I never had. And your grandbabies will be fine. They'll have all of us, our family, to be there. We will all love and protect them. I would give my life for those two little ones."

After everyone had their chance to pay respect to dear Angela, Andy spoke up, "OK everyone! It's time ta head back ta my house fer a big family dinner! I know Angela woulda loved that." Kevin asked, "Are ya sure, Sir? If it's ta much fer ya guys, we can get a room here at one of these restaurants. It's been enough ta have what we all went through. None of us wanna put ya out anymore."

Andy waved is hand, "Nonsense! My boy is getting married in two days and this will be the celebration we shoulda had the other night! And quit it with calling me Sir. Ya either Papa, Da, Andy, or any combo. And please no Mr. Galloway! I know I'm getting older." Phoenix laughed, "But you can still whoop some butt, right Papa?"

Andy nodded proudly, "Aye, young lady. I'm not dead yet. These fists still got a wee bit of fire in them." He stuck his fists up, and everyone laughed. Cherry said to Drew, "Now I see where youyou're your doofiness from." Drew sighed, "I'm not commenting. And ya got two new Galloways in yer womb, sa I wouldn't talk too much!" She kissed him on the cheek and said, "I wouldn't have it any other way, baby."

Andy said, ushering the group to the cars, "Now, let's all get back ta the home! Let's get some food in us!" Sheamus hollered, "About time! I'm starving!" Kevin rolled his eyes, "Christ! When are ya not, mate?" Christine cuddled up next to him in the car and purred, "I'll give ya something to eat later." Seeing Sheamus' smirky grin in his rearview mirror, Jack shook his head, "I'm not gonna guess what she said." Stu screwed up hos face, "Please don't! They're as nauseating as Galloway and his gal!"

When they arrived back at Andy's house, Cherry and Krystal sat out on the back porch catching up as Jane finished preparing the large meal. The two friends loved being reunited after all these years. Krystal couldn't believe Cherry had become the woman in front of her, "Girl, you did it. You did it! You took control of your life and you made the happiest life possible for yourself!" The two women walked arm in arm behind the house to the wooded yard. Cherry sighed as she put her hand on her lower belly, "I know. The last few years have been insane. But I have found where I truly belong."

She looked back at Drew standing on the porch with his family. Now it was going to be her family. He gave her one of his gorgeous grins and her heart skipped a beat like always. Krystal marveled, "You always said you wanted to help people, make a difference in the world. But this is way cool! It's like you girls are some ass kicking ninjas or something."

Cherry nodded "We're more than that. I got three women there, Lady, Phoenix and Denise. I'd take a bullet for either one. And I'm comfortable saying they're on the same page." They laughed at Sheamus and Phoenix running around and laughing. Stu and Jester were still joking about them and their sexual appetite. Krystal smiled as she watched the Irishman holding his beloved in his arms, the smile he wore matched hers, "Those two. You can feel their love." They kissed and whispered to each other.

Cherry laughed, "Ah yes. Sheamy and Phoenix. Stephen and Christine. I guess we all have alter egos. She's very special to me. Not only because we been through a lot. She saved my babies. She saved my life. The sister I never had but always wanted." Krystal considered, "Wow. That's awesome. She seems like she stirs the drink, so to speak. Her and Drew."

Cherry had to giggle, "Yep. They are our resident ball busters, but Phoenix busts more balls than Drew does." Cherry laughed as Phoenix and Sheamus walked over to them. Phoenix rolled her eyes, "So, what are you two laughing about? Let me guess. McInFart." Cherry said, "Yes. And no." Krystal explained, "I was telling Cherry how adorable you two are."

Phoenix looked up at Sheamus, who only smiled and puffed his chest out, "We are pretty adorable." Sheamus agreed, "The lass is correct. Yer Krystal, right?" She nodded and he continued, "Honored ta meet ya. Any friend of Cherry is a friend of ours. The marriage of her and the Muppet is gonna be one fer tha ages." Cherry quipped, "Yeah, but what about you two? They're engaged too." Sheamus grinned, "I asked her yesterday." Phoenix held up her left hand, wiggling her ring finger. She sighed, "I love my ring." Sheamus shrugged and explained, "I should hope so, Lass. It's the only one on the world. Not easy ta get three rare pink diamonds. But I did."

Krystal marveled at Phoenix's jewelry, "All your stuff is cool. I love these pieces!" Phoenix said, "Thanks. It's, uh, my story. My life so far." As the Denise and Lady joined them, Krystal again looked at her oldest friend, "I'm still in awe of how your life turned out. I was so worried about you that night you left…"

She stopped short of saying that wretched name, but continued, "But Leslie, look at you! You have the coolest job in the world, you have surrounded yourself with great people, you're about to marry a super sexy Scottish man…" Cherry sort of blushed at this, and then Krystal finished, "But now, you're going to be a mom! I'm so excited for you!"

She hugged Cherry tightly, who had to hold in her emotions "I only wish Mom was here to see this." Krstal took her hands, "She is always watching over you and I know she's so proud of you and your handsome man!" Drew appeared behind Cherry, reaching for her to pull her into an embrace from behind, "Believe me, I'm the proud one ta have this woman love me and give me these two wee ones." He kissed her on the forehead and caressed her belly.

Drew looked over at Sheamus and Kevin and said, "I heard ya speaking of great jobs. Ya know, Adam Pearce needs a new personal assistant. It would never hurt to have another ear ta tha ground backstage." Kevin, with his arm around Lady, agreed, "That's a brilliant idea actually. Da ya have a resume I can pass along?"

Krystal blinked, "Wait, are you serious? Me working for WWE? Get out of here! I'll email you my resume now!" She pulled out her phone and exchanged the info with Kevin. Cherry reached up and put her arms around Drew's neck. He went up on her tiptoes and kissed him deeply. He reluctantly broke from it with a smile, "What was that fer?" Cherry touched his face and said, "Because you're amazing. And awesome. And sinfully handsome." He smugly smirked, "Aye, all this is true."

She rolled her eyes, "I swear, Galloway! But you didn't have to do that for Krystal." He shook his head, "Aye, I did. If she hadn't helped ya escape that hell, I wouldn't have ya in my life and I can't bear that thought. It was tha least I could do. Plus, having an extra set of eyes and ears is never a bad idea. I can't shake the thought that all of this was just the start of something bigger."

Cherry sighed, "You too, eh? Well, whatever happens, we have a hell of a team assembled. But more importantly, we have each other. I can face anything as long as I have you with me." Drew embraced her tightly to the cheers and laughs of the others as Andy announced that dinner was ready. Sheamus grumbled, "I hate ta leave this lovely scene, but I gotta see what they are cooking. I'm hungry!" Everyone laughed and said at the same time, "You're always hungry!"

Everyone enjoyed the meal at Andy's house. But more than that, they enjoyed each other's company. No ghost from the past threatening their lives and happiness. No mystery to solve. No one looking over their shoulders. Just a big extended family having amazing food getting caught up with loved ones and getting to know new friends and team members. This was indeed a great day.

Later that night, Drew and Cherry laid together in the large bed back at the bed and breakfast, sweaty and tangled in each other's love. Knowing this was their last night they would spend together before saying their vows in a couple of days, Drew made love to Cherry with even more passion and hunger. He had put her legs up on his shoulders and drove into her hard and slow, wanting to milk as many orgasms out of her as possible. The sheen of sweat shown off their bodies as they came together with screams of undying love.

As Cherry laid with her head on his damp chest fast asleep, Drew lied awake in the darkness stroking her hair. He sighed deep, smelling their intense sex in the room through his nostrils. But something had been on his mind, and he had a task to complete. He knew that before he walked down the aisle to his beloved, there is someone he had to see and talk to and make his position clear. This ghost didn't just need to be exorcised from him, it needed to be exterminated.
