Angels In Scotland: Part 18 - The Past Is The Past
The next morning, Drew woke up in the bed alone. He reached for Cherry only to grasp at air. He sat up and looked around for her. He was getting ready to call her name, but then he heard the shower in the suite's bathroom start up. He sighed, knowing that after today's wedding rehearsal he would be sleeping in his old bed at his dad's house alone for the night. He smirked with his idea of how to leave their mark on this bed and breakfast.
Cherry let the warm water flow over her as she cleansed herself in the huge walk-in shower. She took a breath, only to feel a familiar pair of hands on her back. She melted against Drew's torso with her back. He planted a kiss on the back of her neck and said, "I get ta marry ya tomorrow, Sunshine." She smiled and put her hands on his thick forearms, "I know! And I can't wait! It all still feels like a dream."
Drew spun her around to face him and pulled her close again, "If this is a dream, please don't wake me up. But I don't know how I'm gonna do without ya being in my arms tonight." She put her hands on her damp, hairy, muscular chest and rubbed, "I know, baby. But after tonight you won't have to be without me ever again." He puckered his lips together and said, "True. But in the meantime, we do need ta break in this shower. It's kinda our thing, after all."
Drew lifted her up with her back against the shower wall, wrapping her legs around his waist and entering her heat with a hard thrust with the snap of his hips. Cherry screamed and moaned as he drove into her, devouring her breasts at the same time as she arched her back. She laughed through her orgasms and said, "Yeah…showers are…FUCK!...definitely our thing! Oh shit, Drew!"
After the steamy shower and getting dressed, Drew and Cherry bid adieu to Ms. Sophia, promising to return when they make it back to Scotland. They left her with an invitation to their wedding the following day, to which Sophia responded, "I wouldn't miss this wedding for the world!" Drew and Cherry then met up with their entire wedding party at the Piersland Hotel for rehearsal.
It was quite a scene, with Phoenix and Cherry having vain attempts to get Drew, Sheamus, Jack and Stu to behave. Drew kept shouting, "Which way ta tha honeymoon suite?" Sheamus would hit him on the back of the head, and this devolved into chaos every time with the other guys joining in, nearly resulting in a full blown wrestling match.
With all the excitement Lady looked at Christine and said, "Chris, I need to tell you something." Christine laughed and asked, "Something other than I'm about to marry the second biggest dork n the world? Yeah, you get him, honey! OK, what's up?" But Lady froze knowing that the news of Alyssa's parentage and the news of her sister's death could throw everything into a tailspin. She did not want that for her family. They had all been through enough. She shrugged and shook her head, "Never mind. I can tell you later when the boys aren't acting like doofuses." Christine laughed, "I guess you'll never tell me then!"
After the rehearsal, the ladies bid their men goodbye for the night since they were to stay at the hotel. Randy seemed irritated at not having Denise in his bed for the night, to which Drew piped up, "Randal, if I can't shag my gal tonight neither can ya!" Christine kissed Sheamus and whispered, "So, it's a plan? We leave for Dublin right after the wedding?" He nodded, "Oh yeah! I'm gonna marry ya as soon as possible, Lass." Christine frowned "I feel awful about not telling the others, especially Drew and Cher." He kissed her again and said, "They'll understand. Besides, we know they'll rather preoccupied in the bed. They won't notice we're gone."
The guys have a devil of a time dragging Drew away from Cherry as evening set in. Every time they would get him near the door, he would break away and run back to kiss her. She laughed and finally gave him his walking papers, "OK, get out of here, Galloway! I'll see you at the aisle tomorrow. I love you!" He kissed her deeply one last time and smiled that heart stopping grin and said, "I'll see you there, my Love." That night, they both slept in their separate beds, excited for the future for them and their babies.
The next morning, Drew woke up extra early and left a note for his dad and Sheamus: "Dad, I have something I have to do before I get married. Don't worry, I'll be at the church on time. I know punctuality isn't my thing but I wouldn't miss marrying the love of my life for anything in the world. Brother, you probably have figured out where I've gone. I have to do this and I need to be alone. I'll see my best man at the hotel. I couldn't do this without you, fella. Love, Drew". Andy worried, "Christ, what is my boy up to?" Sheamus fumed, "Bugger! I hope he'll be OK!"
Drew walked into room 1512 in the emergency room at Gartnavel Royal Hospital. They told him she was not having visitors, but he didn't care. He had a lot of things to say to her, and she had better listen. Drew walked in and sat down next to the bed. He couldn't believe the state she was in. But she brought all of this on herself with her schemes and antics. Drew didn't feel the least bit sorry for her.
Taryn Terrell laid in the hospital bed, her head and face heavily bandaged hiding the stitches and bruises she received from Lady's spike heel and Christine's fists. She opened her eyes and looked over to her side, and dared to have a twinkle in her eye when she saw Drew's face. He looked down and said, "Hi Taryn. Ya look like shit. It's what ya deserve fer all the shite ya put us all through." Her eyes dimmed and narrowed dying to screa, but she knew she couldn't or her face would never heal normally.
Drew sniffed and started with what he had been dying to say to her for years, "Ya know, Taryn. There was once a time I thought I loved ya. I thought ya were beautiful, but even more than that, I thought ya had a free spirit and a sweet charm about ya. But I found out it was all faker than yer tits and hair color. When ya beat me during that drunken fight… All the times ya fucked around on me at the Playboy Mansion and with Orton, not ta mention Laur…"
Drew stopped short of that name, then continued, "Ya tried ta make it look like I was mean ta ya. Like I had done something wrong. And I admit it, ya almost convinced me of that. Yer that evil and nasty. But what ya and that burnout piece of shit did ta Christine… How ya had those two morons kidnap me when ya knew we had been over fer years… When ya tried ta kill my wee ones and Cherry, joining in with that slime Phil Rumsfeld. That is something I can never fergive and I never will. I came here ta tell ya in person. Ya are nothing ta me. Yer lower than shit on my boots. I never wanna see yer lying, cheating, bitch ass ever again."
He stood up and leaned in to whisper in her ear, hearing her crying whimpers, "Now, I have a wedding ta get ta. That's right. I'm marrying my one true love this morning. Ya didn't stop us and ya never will. And a word of warning ta ya. If ya ever come near my wife, my children, or my sister ever again, I will fucking kill ya with my bare hands! Take care and I'll see ya in hell, Taryn."
As he walked out of the room, he heard Taryn's blood curdling shrill screams. He looked back and saw that she had ripped off the bandages and her cries had busted her stitches, causing a fresh hole in face that was now pouring blood everywhere. Drew shook his head when he saw the menace in her eyes. He can't believe he once thought this woman was the one for him. A small part of him felt sorry for her, but he damn well meant what he said. He now has the life he always wanted with the woman of his dreams. Drew Galloway turned around and walked out of the hospital and got in his car no longer concerned what happened to Taryn. He was now driving to the Piersland Hotel to marry his beloved and the mother of his unborn children. His past was just that: past him in his rearview mirror and nothing but a beautiful future ahead of him.
