As we walked to the locker rooms to change into our P.E. clothes me and Tetsutetsu were approached by some of the other guys. Awase and Tsuburaba were talking to Tetsu, talking with enthusiasm about the duel we just had, while Shishia and Honenuki approached me to talk.

"I must say, that was quite an impressive display, Sir Clay. Your quirk is quite interesting, though I have to wonder if there is any benefit to playing card games against an opponent." He rubbed his chin trying to think of a possible advantage it could have, but I just spoke out to stop him.

"Actually, my quirk is a bit more complicated then I made it out to be. See, my quirk could be called a sentient quirk as it allows me to summon sentient beings, but I see it as a bit more than that." I paused to make sure they were paying attention to what I was saying. "I see my quirk more like a gateway, connecting our world to theirs and using these duels allows them to see some of the world."

Shishida nodded his head at my explanation, though he continued to hold his finger to his chis as he thought of something. Honenuki spoke up next, trying to make a reasonable explanation for my quirk.

"So your quirk lets you connect with monsters, utilize their powers, and summon them to our world, while also allowing you to connect others to those monsters though they can't utilize their powers." I nodded my head at his explanation and we all continued chatting about anything while we were changing.

It didn't take long before we had finished getting changed and made out way out to the field where Vlad was waiting for us. He held a clipboard in one hand and phone like device in the other, his expression was stoic and we had trouble reading his expression.

"Good, now that you lot are here we can get this test going. 1-A has already completed this test this morning so now we're playing catchup. I won't threaten you with expulsion but I do expect you to try your hardest during these tests, do I make myself clear?" He waited for a response from us but was disappointed at what he got.

"Yes sir." Only some of the class spoke and that got a huff from Vlad as he shouted once again.

"I said, DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?!" This got the class awake once again as they all responded as one.

"YES SIR!" Vlad nodded his head at the response, moving towards the 50 meter dash track. The class followed and waited for his instructions.

"Today, each of you are going to participate in 8 different events, each of which you would know from your time at junior high. Before you participated in these events without using your quirks, but now you are going to do the same tests while utilizing your quirks to the best of your abilities." We finally arrived at the track and he turned back to us. "Clay, you scored the highest in the practical entrance exam, what was your time for running the 50 sprint in junior high?"

"I reckon it was about 6.5 seconds sir." I answered straight away, aware of my score and what was going to come next.

"Good, step up and do the test again, this time making use of your quirk." I nodded my head making my way over to the track and activating my quirk. I knew exactly what monster I wanted to take properties from, one that would make sure I was memorable. "Let me know when you're ready so I can start the countdown."

I nodded my head and proceeded call for one monster from the thousands that I knew of. It took a moment, but finally he answered the call and appeared before me. There were no words exchanged between us but we could communicate as if we were speaking. He nodded his head and I grinned, ready to show off a bit. "I'm ready sensei."

My body changed, growing three black, long tails from my behind with red lights adorning the length of them. From my back 6 pairs of black robotic blades sprouted before flashing with purple light and creating 12 wings of purple solid light. My hands morphed into the same black material that the wing blades, sharpening into a point that reflected the sunlight and created a dangerous glare that caused some of the students to gulp. My eyes also changed colour, becoming red and glowing so brightly that my pupil couldn't be seen. Instead, where my pupil should've been, the number '107' was present.

I got into position, resting my feet against the starting block, and digging my now spiked hands into the ground. I waited for the whistle to sound, preparing to cause a scene when my score was revealed. The whistle was blown, but before it even ended, I was already on the other side of the track. It took a moment for people to notice that the run was already over, I went so fast that I ended up creating a vacuum of air that quickly created a loud noise, similar to an explosion.

Vlad, after seeing that I had already cleared the course, looked at the device in his hand to determine how fast I had completed the course, only to find that the robot that was recording still had the timer going as if I had never crossed the finish line. This made him do a double take, these robots had the best video recording software that was able to catch over supersonic speeds, yet here I was moving so fast it looked like I hadn't moved.

"Clay, do you know just how fast you were moving?" He seemed genuinely curious, so I smirked, causing some of the students to gulp before they heard my answer.

"Actually Vlad-sensei, this form allows me to move at speeds faster than the speed of light." I moved back to the side of my classmates, leaving another explosion noise where I once was, causing Komori to yelp in fright. "If you're fine with it sensei, I'll limit myself to just this form, the dragon I'm borrowing power from is a bit stubborn and wants me to show off."

"That's fine, as long as you give it your all. Well, because of your speed you actually weren't able to be recorded by the robot so just to accommodate that I'm just going to give you a 0.01 in the dash so I can actually do the calculations for your score." I nodded my head at the score, already aware that I would be downgraded because I was too good. "Alright, the rest of you lot, get ready to start because when I call your name you'll be coming up and running like your life depends on it." Only a couple students nodded their heads, too stunned at my performance to even register his words.

Awase and Tsuburaba were called, and they walked up to the starting line, ready to run as hard as they could and trying to get the best score they could. After the whistle they tried their hardest, not able to utilize their quirks for this event and needing to just run as fast as they could. Unfortunately, they couldn't come close to my score in the test, not that they expected to, but they tried their damned hardest. More names were called out and the event passed, some people unable to fully utilize their quirks to excel in the test while others were able to utilize theirs to increase their speed. Shishida was naturally fast, Shiozaki was able to use her vines to create something like a crab/spider thing that increased her speed, Kendo was able to boost herself forward with her hands, and Honenuki was able to use the softened ground like a trampoline.

The next test we did was the grip strength test, I used my tails for this test as my hands weren't really able to hold the measuring device. I ended up clocking in around 700kg using my three tails, the most out of the entire class. Shishida ended up being the closest to my score ending up around 500kg while using his quirk, followed by Kendo who scored 400kg and Shiozaki who scored 380kg using her vines. Tetsutetsu earned a respectable 5th place with 200kg using his quirk and Yanagi earned 6th with her 120kg, though her nose was bleeding at the end of the test. The other students weren't able to really utilize their quirks so they ended up scoring average scores on this test.

After the grip strength was the standing long jump, something that I placed first in once again, though this time I was tied with Setsuna Tokage. We both ended up clearing the sandbox and were both clearly capable of continuing further, but Vlad decided that we would just be given the same score as it would be a waste of time to determine who could go the longest distance. We hi-fived on that score and watched the rest of our classmates take their attempts. Tsuburaba was able to clear the sandbox as well, using solid air platforms that he breathed out, though he couldn't get as far as me and Tokage because he ran out of breath. Yanagi was able to make it pretty far as well, using her quirk to control some of the sand, turn it into a platform she could stand on and flew to the other side of the sandbox, but had to stop partway to the other side due to overusing her quirk. Shiozaki was also able to fling herself to the other side of the sand box with her quirk, making her the farthest person to go without actively having a way to avoid touching the ground.

We moved onto doing the repeated side steps and most of us produced average results in this test. I used my wings to make the jumping easier so I ended up once again with the highest score, though this time it wasn't by as much. Tokage used her quirk to separate her body to make it lighter and did the steps that way, Shishida just used his natural abilities to get a high score, Honenuki was able to soften the ground similar to what he did in the sprint, and surprisingly Komori was able to produce springy mushrooms that allowed her to make the jumps easier. The other results were pretty average, being one of the harder tasks to utilize a quirk in.

Next was the seated toe touch, and I surprisingly didn't end up getting first in this test. This time it ended up being Tokage who scored first in the test, detaching her hands to increase the distance she was able to reach. I applauded her as she managed to surpass my score using my tails instead of my hands. Shiozaki was also able to surpass my score in the test, extending her vines to the furthest she could and beating my score as well, followed by Pony Tsunotori using her horns to increase her distance reached as much as possible. I ended up being the 4th place in this test, something that I could tell upset my dragon as I could hear him growling in my head. I did my best to calm him down and after assuring him that we would still be first in the end he calmed down. No one else came even close to reaching our three scores, Kendo was the next after using her quirk to increase the size of her hands, but she wasn't even close.

The next test was the situps, something that I needed to modify my form for because my wings got in the way of me sitting down. I ended up removing them, but that then gave me and idea. During the test I extended and withdrew my wings for me to not use my actual stamina and strength in the test. I could tell that my idea influenced Shiozaki's attempt as she tried something similar, though she wasn't able to overcome my score. Shishida was able to achieve a good result, though it wasn't close to our scores. The rest of the students ended up getting average results as well, Kendo standing out from those results as the highest behind Shishida.

The second to last test was the ball throw, something I was looking forward to very much. To my satisfaction I ended up being called last to the pitch for my throw. I walked into the circle where we were meant to take the throw and ended up biting into the ball much to the confusion of everyone. I really wanted to shout the name of my attack, but with the ball in my mouth it was impossible to do. Instead I mentally roared it before unleashing the attack.

'TACHYON SPIRAL OF DESTRUCTION!' A purple ball of energy was condensed inside my mouth behind the ball, I held it for a few moments to make sure I had enough energy to really rocket the ball away, before I unleashed the beam and ejected the ball. I let out a roar as the beam I had produced continued for a few seconds before dying down in intensity. I took a few breaths and turned back to the class, enjoying the shocked looks they were giving me after having pretty much cementing myself as the strongest in the class. I waited for Vlad to show me my score, though it took a while for him to turn the device around. Finally, when the score was revealed, even I was a bit amazed.

"13Km's! What sort of monster is he?" Awase was the one who spoke up, being both amazed and horrified at the implication of my score. I just flashed a teethy smile at the class and walked back, ready to take the final test that was the distance run. The distance run was a 1km course that everyone needed to run on for 15 minutes and complete the course as many times as possible.

We all lined up ready for the test to start, I smirked, knowing that I would once again score first in this test. To make sure that everyone could see me and know to stay out of my way, I decided to tone down my speed, now leaving me moving as a blur instead of not appearing visible at all. When the whistled sounded I ended up running around the course in about a second and creating a dust cloud because of the speed at which I ran the course. No one was able to keep up with the speed at which I was completing the course, I ended up running the course 70 times in the first minute. As much as everyone wanted to keep up with me, it just wasn't possible for them.

Some of the students ended up needing breaks during the 15 minutes, lowering the distance they could run, while others ended up running nonstop though they were breathing deeply by the end of the run. A couple of the students, like Komori and Yanagi, collapsed at the end of the run, others sat down while they caught their breaths and others were just standing while breathing deeply. I was standing there casually with my arms crossed, not breathing deeply at all.

"Well done everyone, you all completed the test to the best of your abilities and gave it your all. You should all be very proud about that. I'm going to display the results of the test now, but don't feel ashamed at the position your results placed you in, this is just a baseline to know where you started." Vlad pushed a button on the phone and a board behind him lit up and listed the names of the students and their rankings.

Clay: #1

Shiozaki: #2

Tokage: #3

Shishida: #4

Kendo: #5

I only looked at the top 5 of the leaderboard, proud that I got 1st place in the test. Others seemed to be happy with their positioning as well, though some were visibly upset at their placement.

"Good work everyone, I'm proud to see such a promising batch of students this year. Make sure you keep up your training and you'll be able to improve your score here without any problems. Now, get changed and head home, the day is over." Vlad dismissed us all and we each made our way to the changing rooms.

On the way to the changing rooms the guys all complimented me for my abilities or were complaining about how they did in the test. I just accepted all the compliments, not really contributing to the conversation except a nod here and there.

"Dude, you said you were able to move faster than the speed of light, was that true?" Tetsutetsu asked while the other guys all paid attention to the conversation.

"Yup, the monster I used for that is called [Number 107: Galaxy-eyes Tachyon Dragon] and he's able to utilize tachyons to increase his speed. Though he's really prideful so he demanded that I do the test with his powers to show that he was superior to everyone." I chuckled at the absurdity of what I just said, a dragon is always superior to humans, not matter what kind of dragon it is.

"That's so manly!" Tetsu pumped his fist as he changed, the other guys all nodding their heads in agreement. I didn't bother staying for long after getting changed, the Jiro's were waiting for me and I didn't want to keep them long.

When I walked out of UA and to the gate I saw that Jiro was waiting for me, her earphone jack plugged into her phone and listening to music. When she saw me walking up to her she straightened up and unplugged herself, grinning at me as I grinned back.

"What's got you excited?" Normally Jiro is super calm and carries a bored expression, something fun must've happened for her to be smiling like that.

"Nothing much, just did the quirk apprehension test and met with my classmates. I reckon this year is going to be fun." I nodded along with her, agreeing that this year would definitely be fun.
