Shining returned to the entrance of the USJ a few minutes after he left with Awase, Fukidashi and Yanagi in tow. The two boys didn't speak once on the way back, trying to think about what the heck that had witnessed Clay do to those villains. Yanagi was naturally quiet, speaking very little unless spoken to herself.
When the three had returned the class ran up to them and began hugging and asking questions, asking where they had gone and what happened to Clay. The boys didn't answer, just shaking at the thought of remembering what the boy had done. Yanagi couldn't answer either as she had been unconscious when the fight occurred.
"Shining, where are Clay and the others?" Vlad walked up to the hero and questioned him, Clay was his student after all and he needed to look after him.
"Clay is unconscious at the moment," some of the students gasped at hearing that, thinking that something bad must have happened. "He had a panic attack after he lost control. He'll be fine but probably out for the rest of the day."
"What do you mean lost control?" Vlad didn't think that should be a problem for Clay, he seemed fine mentally and seemed to have enough restraint to know when to hold back.
"After we were summoned, we were sent to find the other students, Clay went to the mountain zone himself after summon Armed Dragon," Shining pointed to the dragon who was holding the Nomu in his hand. "And found Yanagi injured. Rage built up and something of a second personality took over. I don't know the full details myself so it's best if you wait till they get back."
Vlad nodded his head, accepting that he would have to wait for an explanation. All he cared about was that his student was fine and wasn't in any danger.
The doors to the USJ blew open, revealing the teachers and pros of UA prepared to attack any of the villains that had attacked their school. With their arrival, the students all breathed sighs of relief, feeling safe now that they saw the symbol of peace among them.
"Vlad, we heard there was a villain attack. Where are the villains?" Nezu, who was inside of Eraser Head's scarf, popped up and questioned the hero. Vlad pointed down the stairs, the other heroes looking down at the courtyard and finding a bunch of the villains encased in ice.
"The students were separated into the different zones, there are probably more villains in the areas as well." Nezu nodded his head and the pros left the entrance and headed to the different zones. Nezu then counted the students that were present, noticing that one student was missing.
"Vlad, where might Clay be?" The chimera also noticed the white armoured man that was floating with the eight golden obelisks at his back, but he would question that later.
"He's in the mountain zone with his summons, he managed to save most of the students with them and even beat an All Might killing monster with a dragon." The yellow suited hero was surprised that Vlad said something like that.
"I see, we will perhaps have to wait for him to be picked up by the teachers then." Everyone nodded their heads, All Might going down to the courtyard to inspect this him killing monster while it was restrained by the dragon.
After a few minutes, some of the teachers returned after confirming that a bunch of villains had been restrained or knocked out, though the teacher that had been sent to the mountain zone, Eraser Head, hadn't returned yet.
In the mountain zone with Clay and his summons, Eraser Head arrived and instantly put up his guard upon seeing the boy surrounded by unknown individuals. He prepared himself to fight to get the student back, readying the capture weapon around his neck.
There were four beings, three in different coloured armour around the fourth, a demonic looking being with bat like wings, wild purple and white hair, mismatched hands and wearing a black and white jumpsuit. He couldn't see the face of the being, but he didn't have to for his quirk to work. He couldn't see any of the body parts of the armoured beings though so his quirk wouldn't work on them.
With a deep breath, Eraser Head leaped down into the mountain zone and launched his weapon at one of the armoured beings, the thin looking one in black armour. Feeling a disturbance in the air, the blue armoured being activated his power and created a wall of ice that blocked the capture scarf from touching his comrade.
"Tch," Eraser clicked his tongue in annoyance, only someone with incredible experience could react to a sneak attack like that. Before he could make a counterattack though, the demonic looking being spoke up.
"You're Eraser Head, teacher of class 1-A and pro hero. You don't need to attack us, we're not villains." The voice sounded like multiple people were talking, mostly a female voice with some male voice speaking softly at the same time.
"Who are you and what are you doing to that student?" It was clear to Eraser that he wouldn't be able to beat these people, they identified him instantly without even having to look at him.
"We're protecting our king." Escuridao answered, turning to look Eraser in the eye with his one red eye. "Now stop bothering us, he needs rest." The hero left no room for argument in his voice, but Eraser couldn't stop.
"Not gonna happen, I need to get him back to his class. Now if you really aren't villains come with me so we can look after the boy." Even if he didn't stand a chance against the four of them, he wouldn't allow one of the schools students to be in danger. He would fight the four of them at the same time if he had to.
"Fine." The demonic being spoke for the others as she stood up and carried Clay in a bridal carry before unfolding her wings. "It's been a while since I flew, this will be a good stretch." With one flap of her wings, Yubel had vanished into the air leaving Eraser Head and the other heroes behind.
Back with the heroes and students at the entrance, they heard a flap of wings in the distance and turned to look at who it was. Another flap and the person had arrived in front of the group with someone in their arms, Clay.
The students began shivering at the sight of the being, the heroes all prepared themselves to attack, but the being just stood their with Clay in her arms. Vlad was the first to walk forward, moving cautiously until he reached her and took clay from her arms.
"Look after him, he has a bigger destiny than he knows." Yubel spoke softly so that only Vlad could hear, then began fading away. When she was gone everyone let out a collective breath and relaxed.
"Well then, now that all of our students are here, let's take them outside so the police can do their jobs." Nezu spoke up and the heroes nodded, herding the students outside with Clay being carried by Vlad.
The police had arrived outside the USJ, multiple cars with officers and even a truck with some SWAT team in case of an incident. When the heroes came out one of the officers wearing a brown trench coat and a fedora walked up to them and started asking them questions.
Before he could get to Vlad, the blood hero placed Clay on a gurney that took him away in an ambulance, along with Thirteen. Even if she had been healed, they still needed to do a check up to make sure there was no more damages.
The heroes that Clay had summoned also unmanifested themselves, not wanting to deal with the police of this world. Vlad saw this and sighed in frustration, if they had just stuck around a bit longer than they could get a clearer understanding of what happened without having to question the kids.
"Vlad, my name is Naomasa Tsukauchi and I'm the detective assigned to this case." Naomasa held out his hand to the hero who shook it in return. "I'm sorry to say this but I'm going to have to take the statements of the students for this case."
"Alright, but please try to be understanding, they were just attacked by villains after all." Vlad accepted while Tsukauchi nodded his head. The detective walked away to the first student, Kendo since she was the vice rep.
After maybe an hour of questioning the students were able to leave. Because of the attack the students were given the day and the next off, leading into the weekend before they came back again on Monday.
During that time Clay had woken up a few hours after being admitted to the hospital and discharged another hour later. Avian and Burstinatrix arrived to drive the boy to the Jiro's home, playing the role of his parents who were concerned for their child.
"You did good Clay, you managed to save your friends and keep them safe from the villains." Avian tried to assuade Clay's worries about the event as he hadn't spoke since being discharged. Avian turned to Burstinatrix for support, her being the better talker of the two.
"Clay, I know that you're upset about what happened, but you have to realize that you only wanted to save them. Who knows what would've happened if you didn't go to the mountain zone." Clay still didn't speak, looking straight ahead with a lost expression on his face. "Clay, you saved them. You were a hero to them."
This snapped Clay out of his trance, looking at the female hero who gave him a smile. Clay then looked into the rearview mirror, seeing Avian give a smile back from there as well, he was driving so he couldn't turn his head.
"Thanks guys, I needed that." Clay leaned back and rubbed his face, letting a sigh loose as he waited for the car to arrive at the Jiro's residence. It took another 15 minutes but eventually they arrived, silence the whole way but this time not a bad silence.
Arriving at the Jiro household, the youngest Jiro rushed at Clay and hugged him hard, followed quickly by the patriarch of the family joining the hug and bawling his eyes out. Clay smiled at this, happy that people cared about him so much.
I flipped through my phone, opening up a message app and creating a new chat that included everyone in the class. We had all given each other our numbers so we could communicate, all except Kamakiri that is, and I wanted to make sure everyone was alright.
Duel King: Hey guys, just wanted to check on you all.
Big Sis: Clay, ur ok!
Shroom: Clay!
Blow Hard: Aye, he's good!
Blow Hard: Wait, WHY'S THAT MY NAME!
Apocabeast: As vulgar as that is, it's quite accurate Tsuburaba.
Blow Hard: Not you too Shishida!
Big Sis: I hope you're feeling better Clay.
Duel King: Yup, just out of hospital and am at the place I'm staying at now.
Poison Ivy: I'm glad that you have recovered and thank you for looking out for us.
Poison Ivy: …Why is my name that of a villain?
Duel King: Hehe… I couldn't think of anything to do with plants, so this is the first thing that came to mind.
Poison Ivy: Fine, I will accept this title only because of her love for the planet.
Duel King: Sweet, anyway I wanted to ask you guys if you wanted to hang out on the weekend?
Big Sis: Yeah, I'm down.
Shroom: I'll have to ask my parents, but I can probably make it.
Blow Hard: Sure, I'll be there, just say when and where.
Apocabeast: Relaxing after this incident might be necessary, I shall join you.
Never Hard: I can make it.
Big Sis: …
Shroom: …
Blow Hard: …
Poison Ivy: …
Apocabeast: …
Never Hard: …but why?
Duel King: :)
Iron Man: I CAN MAKE IT AS WELL!
Shroom: You're even loud over text?
Iron Man: I GOT AN IMAGE TO KEEP UP!
Duel King: Great, so if everyone can meet up at the XXXX mall at 10:00 then we can hang out for a few hours. Also, if anyone knows Kamakiri's number add him to the group and invite him to the get together.
I closed my phone and put it on the bedside table, relaxing on my bed and letting all my worries drift away. I closed my eyes, drifting off to sleep and thinking of things we could do at the mall.
The next day I told the Jiro's that I would be out tomorrow with some friends, they seemed a bit worried but I told them I'd be fine. With some reluctance they were fine with it and I started planning my way to get to the mall.
I also thought about what I would say to my classmates, specifically Awase and Fukidashi. They had seen me do somethings that could be seen as villainous and looked horrified when I last saw them. I wouldn't be surprised if they just decided to not come in the end.
If they didn't then I would talk to them at school, hopefully they weren't traumatised by it and decided to avoid me all together. Worries for future Clay, now is the time to plan a fun day with friends.
I spent the next few hours looking over movie schedules, trying to find a movie that everyone would enjoy near the time we all arrived. Then making sure there was enough time to grab a bite to eat, the food court at the mall was pretty extensive and I wanted all of us to be able to eat what we want. Then, thinking about how we should actually shop, maybe going in groups of four or five and splitting up.
Before I knew it, it was time to sleep and rest for the next day. If I wanted to get to the mall on time, then I would need to leave early. I slept soundly, not worrying about the conversation I would be having with Awase and Fukidashi and their fears of me.
Finally, it was the weekend, I woke up, grabbed a quick slice of toast for breakfast before leaving the house and making my way to the train station. The mall wasn't far from the Jiro's but it also wasn't close. But it was the biggest mall in the area so it was what would give people the most variety of things to do.
About 20 minutes later and I had arrived at the mall, looking around the entrance to see if anyone had arrived yet and finding Shishida and Kendo talking to one another. I walked over to the two and butted my way into the conversation.
"Why do I have to be the 'big sis' though? Some of you guys are older than me!" Kendo was slumping her shoulder in defeat while Shishida just shrugged.
"Because you look after everyone and keep us all in check." I answered as the two turned to me. Kendo ran up and hugged me, mumbling something about being happy I was fine, while Shishida stood on the side with his hand on his chest.
"Sir Clay, I must thank you for what you did in the USJ. If it weren't for you then…" Shishida trailed off as he saw Kendo still hugging me, and I felt my shirt becoming damp. "…Then something unpleasant would've happened."
"No problem, that's one of the reasons I called everyone. I did something that I want to apologize for and I wanted to do it out of school to make sure no one thought I was being forced to do it." Kendo and Shishida looked confused, the only thing I had done in the USJ was save their lives, what could there be to apologize for?
We stopped our conversation there, me wanting to speak more about it when everyone had arrived instead of having to go over it multiple times. We waited for about half an hour, others arriving within that time. Even Kamakiri showed up, someone must've invited him.
When the last person in class 1-B showed up, I stood in front of them all to grab their attention. Awase and Fukidashi were looking at me with wary eyes as if they thought I was going to go violent on them, but they were still willing to listen to what I had to say.
"Before we get started, I just wanted to say a few things. For those of you who don't know, which is most of you, something happened in the USJ that I feel terrible about. Awase, Fukidashi," I did a 90 degree bow, trying to show my sincerity as much as I could. "I'm sorry for the horrible act of violence I performed in front of you. After seeing Yanagi injured I lost control and only wished to harm those who caused her harm. I hope you can forgive me."
I couldn't see it, but the rest of the class had gone wide-eyed. Some were whispering, asking what had happened at the USJ that was causing me to do this sort of action. Eventually, Awase sighed and turned to the rest of the class, explaining what had happened.
"After we were sent into the mountain zone one of the villains was able to ambush us. He injured Yanagi and knocked her unconscious, leaving her bleeding from the head." Awase clenched his fist remembering what happened when they were separated from their classmates. "Me and Fukidashi tried to protect Yanagi but there was too many of them. Then, we heard a scream from one of the villains." Awase looked at me, fear still in his eyes. "Standing behind the villain with claws slashing their legs, was him."
"After that all the villains started attacking Clay." Fukidashi took over explaining what happened, his voice calm but his speech bubble head showing the word 'Shiver'. "There had to be at least 20 villains all with powerful quirks. They were attacking relentlessly, but they never once managed to draw blood or even invoke a reaction. Instead, Clay slashed them all down." The class all gasped, shocked to hear something like that. I was still bowing, not wanting to see their reactions.
I heard a set of footsteps getting closer to me, but I didn't look up to see who was approaching. I then felt someone rest their hands on my shoulder and drag my body up. Turns out it was Yanagi who had walked over to me, a smile on her face as she looked me in the eyes. She then pulled me into a hug, surprising me and causing me to release some tears that I didn't know had formed in my eyes.
"I didn't see what you did but I saw the results. If you went that far for one of us, then I know we were right to choose you as the class rep." The other students came up to me and started saying that Yanagi was right, that they were happy I cared so much about them, and that they wished I wouldn't get in trouble for doing things like that again. I couldn't hold in my relief that my classmates were this understanding and that they cared so much about me.
Eventually, they all backed up and gave me space, Yanagi pulling away from the hug as I wiped my eyes with my sleeve. I smiled at them, happy that these people were my classmates.
"Alright class 1-B, we have a day of relaxation ahead of us! To start off with, we're going to the movies, then we'll be going to the food court for lunch followed by us splitting up into groups and doing some shopping." I pumped my hands into the air and the class followed. Awase and Fukidashi still seemed a bit hesitant, but they were at least going along with it. Maybe it would take a while for them to see me in the same light, but I would hope they would continue to be my friends.
We all marched towards the cinemas, grabbing our tickets for the movie we wanted to see. It happened that they were playing an old pre-quirk movie in celebration of the studio's anniversary or something. The movie we were watching was called 'Iron Man' and it was apparently the start of an entire movie series that practically the entire world followed.
The movie was pretty good for something that didn't use quirks that created the effects, the hero was also really cool. Using his intelligence to stand against his foe who only knew how to copy other people. I was thinking that maybe our class should get together sometimes to continue watching the series that spawned from this movie.
After the movie we all headed to the food court, splitting up to grab the foods that we wanted. I walked with Tsunotori to grab some burgers from McRonalds, Tsunotori because this was the food she was used to being an American, while me because the other selection in the food court was a bit lacking.
We sat down at our tables, moving them closer together just like we did in the cafeteria of UA, and ate our food while discussing some topics of interest. We eventually got around to the Sports Festival that UA put on every year and that it was going to be in a couple of weeks.
"Man, I'm so pumped for the festival!" Tetsu was the first to express his excitement for the event, others agreeing with his sentiment. I too was looking forward to the festival, mostly because it would be the stage where I get to show off some of my monsters.
"I can't wait to see the look on that Bakugou's face after I beat him again." I grinned, imagining the sort of face that the boom boy would make after I destroyed him once again.
"Are you going to even bother making it fair for the other classes?" Kendo asked me, sighing as she knew that I was most likely going to win. Most of the class knew that, but they were still excited for the festival anyway.
"I'll let them think it's even for a bit, then I'll destroy them." I had a mischievous glint in my eye as I spoke, already planning what sort of things I would do and what powers I would show off.
We finished eating out meals then proceeded to split into groups and go our separate ways. We would meet back up in a couple of hours before calling it a day. I was in a group with Yanagi, Kendo, Shishida and Honenuki and we ended up going to a sports shop to find items for strength training.
Yanagi ended up buying a few dumbbells to increase her lifting capacity with her quirk along with Kendo who bought a few heavier weights for herself. Honenuki decided that he would buy some ankle weights that he could use in his swimming training. Me and Shishida didn't buy anything, me because I had all the tools I would need at my house, not the Jiro's, and Shishida because he had the tools at his house to improve his strength already.
We then went clothing shopping, something that me and the other boys soon regrated. Instead of us being able to actually try any clothes on, we were turned into clothes racks for the girls as they selected some outfits they wanted to try on. Some passersby's saw us and gave us sympathetic looks, others said that we were terrific friends and would be great boyfriends.
Nearing the time that we were scheduled to meet back up with the rest of our class, I called the shopping short much to the girls' disappointment and the guy's relief. We purchased the clothes for the girls then made out way back to the meeting point we had all decided on beforehand.
"Everyone, I just want to thank you all for coming. I look forward to seeing you all at school on Monday!" Everyone said their goodbyes to one another, and we all went our separate ways, though someone decided they wanted to tag along with me for a bit.
"Clay, I didn't get to express my thanks earlier so I will express my thanks now." Yanagi walked beside me as she spoke, bowing her head to me as she continued. "You saved my life and the lives of everyone in the USJ because of your summons, and even if the others won't admit it, I appreciate that you got angry because I got hurt."
I wasn't expecting that, I was expecting the 'thanks for saving our lives' thing, but not the 'thanks for nearly killing people' stuff. I didn't really know what to do at the moment in response to that, so I just rubbed the back of my head and smiled.
"No problem, just please don't get hurt like that too often." And with that we took the trains to our homes and ended the day on a happy note.
Author here, we're going into the sports festival soon. If you have any monsters you want to make an appearance and it is similar to what I have in mind then make sure to recommend them. Right now, I'm debating between including either [Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon] or [Frost And Flame Dragon]. No matter what, Clay will be fighting Todoroki in the finals so I'll let you guys choose which of those he should use.
Also, I'm planning to have [Number 9: Dyson Sphere] make an appearance just because he is probably the biggest monster to appear in yugioh. If he does appear it will probably be in the finals.
Well that's all I wanted to say. Make sure to leave the monsters you want included and I'll see if I can make it work.
Later!
