Welcome, welcome to the first ever chapter... If we don't count the Information Chapter of Class 1-S (Reboot), I'm sure many readers have questions like why Raphtalia is on the character list rather than Starfire? Funny story, umm... Starfire was too weak, you see when I was planning out the arcs and everything. When I finished, I thought to myself that Starfire should be around seat number 15 or even 18 if we were doing her cartoon counterpart and not her comic book counterpart. There's a massive difference between the two.

But that would mean her battle arc would fall into the Sports Festival Arc, and her real arc where she falls in love with Izuku would be before Saber's Arc. Then, I thought about changing her out, and YouTube put a video of Rising of a Shield Hero, which I've never seen. Which I'm currently thankful for; that's not a good show... Getting off the point, I put Raphtalia in Starfire's place and made it a deal without telling anyone since there would be no point.

One day, straight out of nowhere. A sudden storm appeared; it surrounded the entire country of Japan and the rest of the Earth. The eye of the storm was above U.A. High, and it was booming. Thunder clashed in the glowing clouds. The loud noise caused the ground to shake below the people's feet. It happened everywhere, across all the Earths. Above the large capital T, that looked over Jump City, or the guild house in the Kingdom of Fiore. Or over the giant letter H, the hero school in Japan. The eye of the storm was everywhere, and it was spelling doom.

Because this storm wasn't happening in one world; it was happening across every single world. All at the same time.

And then it happened…

BOOM!

The lightning struck as if a colossal laser fired onto each Earth. Each of the Earths got covered in a gigantic cataclysm event—one where all the Earths got destroyed, with nothing remaining, and then started to merge into one. A lone planet, a single Earth, one where it was all merged.

Where the Grand Line split apart the north and south, the former Titan's Tower fell into the sea, causing a tidal wave that covered most of the north side and parts of the south—splashing against the Magic Library and the Fairy Tail Guild over on the South Side. Grass grew, and red dragons soared across the bright blue sky. The moon was cut in half, almost like it was blown up. The sun had large spikes with a wide grin, bright white teeth, and two eyes, laughing while up in the sky.

Schools appeared: U.A. High, entire buildings; The Hero Association, ruins sunk in the deep forest; Royal Biblia Academy. And creatures of Hell, like Grimms, plunged into the depths of The Cedar Forest. Now, people are born with two different powers; on the North side, people are born with Quirks.

These Quirks are also known as Esper Abilities, but those were much rarer. These strange supernatural powers are gifted to a person at age five. Some mutated a person's body, and some allowed them to grow plants and turn invisible. There has never been a case where one couldn't gain these supernatural abilities.

Meanwhile, on the South Side. People are born with the ability to wield magic. Their bodies can use Semblance, but one was born with it, similar to a Quirk, unlike magic, which could be learned by anyone who hails from the south side. Then there were the bounties from the Great Sea, mysterious fruits that grant one the powers of the Devil himself. This is our world now; everyone calls it home even though their true home is dead.

On the south side, deep into the depths of The Cedar Forest, was a large building; plants were growing out of the broken windows, and it looked close to a large castle, a towering tree smashed through the center. Its branches crashed through the walls despite this great tree destroying this castle. It was the only thing keeping it still up. There were creatures as dark as the night, wearing the bones of other dead creatures; their bones cut through their flesh.

A sleeping Grimm curled up as the sun shined through the thick trees. Yet, there was a girl inside this ruined castle, a young girl no older than eight, with bright golden hair and golden eyes. Her skin was pale, as if she had never seen the sun. Her name was Shinobu Oshino.

The wind blew through the broken window; for as long as Shinobu knew, she had lived within this ruined home; the library was massive, with many tomes for her to use. It wasn't a bad deal. The forest creatures left her alone, and the treetops were so thick that the sun didn't burn her skin.

With her sharp vampire fangs in her mouth, many spiders and bats made themselves at home as her feet carried her down the crumbling staircase. Water dripped from the ceiling, and a soft breath escaped from Oshino's rosy lips.

The words were scratched out, and plants were growing over it. Making it impossible to read, the only thing that remains of the former sign is the letters R… Y… B… B… A… A… Dem…

Although the grimoires were here, they were untouched by the forest's unforgiving nature. "Perhaps I should summon myself a servant." She spoke, her voice echoing throughout the empty halls.

Teleportation magic was complex to come by and even more complicated to Master. Yet, was there any life outside this forest? Shinobu's wonders crept upon her; she might have been the only living being on this planet. "Heh," She let out a small chuckle.

"Even if that's the case, life will form on this rock millions of years from now. As a Vampire, I have nothing but time to kill." Oshino spoke to herself, and there was only her here.

On second thought, it would be better if there was life out there rather than just waiting until life bloomed.

"I want someone powerful, someone who has potential. Someone cute and maybe a bit younger than me, like a cute boy. If he had freckles, that would be even better."

A strange aura bloomed around Shinobu, who might be setting her sights far too high for a simple spell, one that she hadn't even learned yet. The Grimms howled to the destroyed moon; the dust from the rocks was still there. What kind of event even caused that? One of the many mysteries of this world.

Nevertheless, this library held volumes upon volumes of magical books, one of which could be her ticket to a darling student who would look up to her. Soon, romance would bloom between the two, as that boy would soon grow older; thus, their love would be taboo… Shinobu was grinning ear to ear just thinking about it.

"I can't wait,"

Countless red stones, just beaming with Magical Energy, covered the floor. One by one, there will be a book about what she wants.

The seagulls were rather noisy, and the cars were beeping, although one boy, age five, just sat on the park bench, mindless to the world around him. It was unheard of. Yet, young Midoriya Izuku knows this one thing: he is worthless.

On the North Side, where Midoriya hails from, powers are split between Espers and Quirks. Espers tend to be stronger than someone with a Quirk, and their power is unlimited. They seem to have all the answers, yet Esper could spend years of their lives and never gain anything besides a fundamental power. They have to be geniuses in everything about their power, always thinking about the Science behind it, and then there are the drugs and other meds poured into them.

Otherwise, people can be gifted a Quirk. These strange powers are granted to children at the ripe age of five. One who has a Quirk can't use Esper Abilities. Otherwise, the outcome will be death. Quirks don't need as much thinking as an Esper Ability, and then there's the fact that some Quirks make humans become mutants.

In an All-Out War, it's unknown who would win.

However, in Midoriya Izuku's case, he was born on the Quirk Side. His mother and father had high hopes. Yet, terrible news, one that someone could never hear again or someone who never heard before utter in that hospital room.

Midoriya Izuku is Quirkless. He can gain no Quirk; because of this, he can't gain Esper Abilities, meaning, undoubtedly. He was worthless as a Human being.

'Why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, WHY!'

Izuku's hands dug into the dirt, and he couldn't understand why he was born this way. Tears were dropping down his face; he wanted to protect others with a smile, like his hero, All Might.

In the ranking, he was first, mainly due to his smile and the fact he brought peace around the entire North Side. Supervillains coward in fear, not wanting to leave their caves.

What could he even do? No one would want to hang out with him and his family, and he would be treated like an outcast. Izuku would be lucky if he were being bullied. Hell, someone could just kill him, and no one would bat an eye.

A small yelp reached his ears,

Even if he wasn't a hero, even if he was Quirkless, someone was in trouble. Izuku wanted to save them. No, he needed to save whoever was calling out for help.

"Hey, leave them alone!" Izuku cried out and stood in front of the child.

"Hffph! Let's go, boys," the leader of the boys had ash blonde hair.

"Are you okay?" Izuku wondered; he blushed at the sight of the child.

A boy, and a cute one at that. Short green hair, bright red eyes, pale skin, black with a yellow stripe short shorts, a white hoodie over a white top. Then there were his long, pointy ears; clearly, this child was an Elf. From the South Side, it was over on the North.

No wonder he was getting bullied, and no one was blinking an eye.

One of the Seven Laws is No Trespassing. If someone from the South Side went to the North, or even if it was the other way around. Then, it is punishable by death. Age, gender, none of that mattered.

Since if even one got in, then war would follow close by. The whole thing would be messy against the Espers and Quirks against the Magic Users and Semblance; everyone knew it. The laws were some of the first things a person learned about, right next to the alphabet and counting to ten.

But this cute boy was shivering in the cold. Waiting for Izuku to move against him, his eyes were shut, scared stiff for what may come his way.

Then his body stopped shaking as a hoodie was pulled over his body and covered his green hair and long elf ears. Izuku knelt as he could only smile at the unknown boy, his hand placed upon his head.

"I'm Midoriya Izuku,"

The unknown boy didn't say anything, "I won't hurt you. Do you have a family?" Izuku wondered,

The boy shook his head. Could he not speak Japanese? Midoriya knew that the South Side had a different language, yet he didn't say a word of it. One, he was too young, and two, no one was allowed over there.

The Tower of Terror, the large building shaped like a T in the center of the ocean, broke apart the two nations. It is the only place where the leaders of each nation can talk to each other—essential people like the Number One Hero or the Guild Masters.

Izuku knew that they couldn't stay here forever. That boy might be back soon and with help. However, how an Elf got over here remains a mystery. Yet, Izuku took his hand and fled.

Fled back home, the unknown boy could only wait for his death to come; his eyes were shut, yet he was going to meet his mother and father soon. Too bad his dream would never come true.

A plate of rice balls sat before him, "You looked hungry, have some." Izuku spoke,

"Not poison?" He asked; his Japanese was off. Elves learn much faster than any other race; their magic is the most powerful out of anyone in the south side, yet only pure elves for the latter; half-elves were a different matter.

"It's not poison; it's food. For you," Izuku spoke as he picked one up and took a bite.

Without even thinking much about it, the unknown boy began to swallow down rice ball after rice ball. The green tea beside him, the boy, mainly was skin and bones.

"I Sylp… Hie…" With his broken Japanese and a mouthful of food. He seemed to forget about the 'Am.'

"Sylphie, pleased to meet you,"

It had only been a day when Izuku hid Sylphie in his room. Izuku gave him spare clothing; the odd thing was Sylphie was shy to the point where he didn't want to get changed in front of Midoriya.

They were both boys, so why even be embarrassed? Sharing his dinner and breakfast, there wasn't much Izuku could do, and his mom didn't know. If she did, it would spell nothing but trouble. If Sylphie ever got found out, Izuku would be the only one who would get in trouble.

That trouble would be life in jail. If not death. No slap on the wrist or time out. There has to be a way for Sylphie to get back to the South Side. During the nights, Izuku pushed Sylphie close to his body. Sylphie, in the dead of night, with only a lantern glow. His cheeks flushed, and he felt his chest pressing against Midoriya's body.

They are learning Japanese and speech, on top of magic. During the weekend, Izuku and Sylphie sneaked out to the streets of Musutafu, Japan. To go to the library. There's no way there would be magic books on the North Side, sometimes on the Black Market, but they never get sold; it was only Collector's Item.

However, the Celeano library was nothing to sneer at; it was said that they have every single book that has ever existed. Although, the library itself was massive. To look for a single book, one would spend years, if not an entire lifetime, searching for a single copy.

Sylphie tucked on the hood; there was no chance to rob the Celeano Library; they had their version of an army here. Besides, it was rumored that one of the librarians here is more potent than any of the Pro-Heroes.

Which just sounded like rubbish.

The worst part about this library was they had everything, including everyone who lives, currently is alive, or had died in all history on the North Side. There was a rumor that the one who made the Celeano Library, Master Celeano, merged with the library so his Quirk would live on. Self-writing is the ability to write anything without touching a pen or paper.

Many Heroes and Villains come here, searching for information on either side. But without any help, it was like finding a needle in a haystack.

There stood a cute high school girl. She wore a high school uniform. Yet, she looked close to a middle schooler with how small of a statue she was. Her short black hair, which reached to her shoulders, and that bright pink ribbon, wearing a red blazer and a long pink skirt.

"Hey, miss, do you work here?" Izuku asked,

The girl's name tag readied Shiomiya Shiori. She held a book in her hands, gripping it tightly as she nodded. "A cute girl like her shouldn't be this shy," Izuku muttered, thinking no one heard him.

No one did.

No one but the now pouting Sylphie.

"We're trying to find a book. We umm… Lost a bet?" Izuku sounded so unsure of himself that his mother told him never to lie. It hurt deep down to do so, "You see… Umm… The bet was that Sylphie and I had to find a magic spell book in the Celeano Library."

Her lips moved, yet nothing came out of them. It was so soft that one couldn't hear it, or she didn't say anything. There were other librarians here, right? Like umm… That girl, Yoshimoto Shizuka. Who pointed to her Light Novel and went on her way.

Izuku grabbed Sylphie's hand, "We'll stick to the front entrance."

This library was beyond massive; calling anything besides enormous would be an understatement. One could be lost in here forever, and there were warp panels around, yet in the vast sea of books. Losing oneself was as easy as breathing.

There have been reports about people going missing when visiting this library.

Sylphie looked at his hand wrapped with Izuku's, their fingers interlocking, as a blush appeared on his face. There were just too many books and no way a single person could search for anything. If Izuku could learn how magic works, he could help Sylphie with his spells.

"What do you think, History of the South Side or Guild Houses?" Neither sounded great, but those were the only two on this floor.

"History is good. Might go into mages…"

His Japanese was much better than before, "You're getting better; good job." Izuku praised as his hand patted her head. Butterflies floated inside Sylphie's stomach.

All it was was getting the book and borrowing it. And they left no questions asked, which was good. It went much easier than expected.

When night came, Inko was fast asleep. Sylphie crept inside the bathroom; it would be magic lessons after the bath. "I should tell him,"

Sylphie pressed his hand against his chest. "Would our relationship stay the same? If he knew I am a girl?"

Izuku had already told Sylphie why he was helping her out. "It's what Heroes do," that was his remark. He just saw someone in trouble and didn't care if that person was a boy, girl, elf, or any other race.

Izuku wanted to be a hero. But he can't. "Then I'll be one for you!" Which was Sylphie's reply.

Which was just straight-up impossible. But Izuku pulled Slyphie into a hug. Saying thank you to her.

She wanted to make his wish come true. It was the least Slyphie could do for him after everything Izuku had done for her. He teaches her Japanese, magic, writing, feeding her, giving her water and baths, and her debt keeps growing.

School was the most boring day for Sylphie. Izuku would leave her alone for hours. She repeated the same spell repeatedly; it was just a simple water spell as she stood in the bathtub, and it didn't go far. But it worked.

Chanting the spell was a must for mages. Elves have a higher magic pool than most other races. The only ones who beat them out were the vampires, which are just a myth. Well, at least Sylphie hopes they are a myth.

Yet, there's one thing Sylphie has come to terms with.

She's a girl who has a massive crush on the boy she's living with.

And that boy didn't even know she was a she and thought she was a he. It's a little too late to correct him. They sleep and cuddle together. What is she meant to say, "Oh, you know your best friend? Me, umm… I'm a girl, and I have a gigantic crush on you. Can we remain the same way? Thanks."

Besides, Izuku aimed to get her back to the South Side. Have her join a guild and a family, and then have her forget all about him. It stings, but that is what he wanted to do.

They are both six now, and they met when they were five. Yet, Sylphie noticed Izuku. She couldn't help it. Her eyes always drifted towards him, and perhaps it was love? But he was in worse shape than she was when they first met.

Burns marks and dirt covering his clothes, it was clear as day that Izuku was getting picked on, mainly due to not having any powers.

When night arrived again, Sylphie muttered the chant necessary for mages as the water ball splashed against the wall. "We might have to take this outside soon. Mom had been asking questions about what the noise was," Izuku softly whispered.

Sylphie could only nod, "But children ain't allowed to practice their Quirks without a parent or guardian. I have neither, and besides, this isn't a Quirk; it's magic. I'm making something out of nothing."

The first roadblock was hit, "That's because you have to chant your spells; is there any way for you to skip that?" His question caught Sylphie off-guard. "If so, we might be able to trick people into thinking that your magic is a Quirk. We can call it, umm… Voiceless Incarnation. It allows you to summon the elements from your body, but they have range and umm… Limits?"

Sylphie flips through the Magic History Book, "There's Beginner / Elementary, Intermediate, Advanced, Holy, Kingly, Emperor, and then God. I'm around Beginner. Are you sure we can get away with this?"

"Only if you never chant out your spells. It might be the only way for you to go to training factors, umm… We could leave the house and come back and say you're my friend." Izuku muttered,

"But I am your friend."

Izuku waved his hand, "You know what I mean," but then there were Sylphie's Elf ears. They told the entire world who and where she was from. If they could get their hands on Rabbit Fur Hats, that would cover the ears, but it would be weird to wear indoors.

Or during summer.

There was nothing Izuku could think of. He just wanted to help his friend; was that too much to ask for?

The next day, dark clouds were looming above. Sylphie always acted nervous around him, and Midoriya could never figure out why. The idea made him scratch his head, confused. Sylphie wore the Rabbit Fur Hat to cover her Elf ears.

An Elf. They tend to live much longer than normal humans, where one thousand years is nothing to them. There will come a day when Izuku passes away, and Sylphie will keep living, forgetting about him and falling in love with someone else.

Why did that hurt? The idea of Sylphie being together with someone else. They were both boys, and it would only make sense when Sylphie finds someone.

A raindrop hit their heads. Izuku grabbed Sylphie's hand and ran; the rain poured down quickly, soaking the two through their clothes. When they finally arrived back at the apartment building, it was the closest place, and going home felt better than staying somewhere unknown. Their clothes were heavy. Inko looked at her son, towing in a person she had never met before,

"Oh, Mom. Umm… Hi, this is my friend, Sylphie. We got a little wet and will take a bath together." Izuku stated,

"Wait, bath. Izuku honey, wait…" Inko spoke, yet,

"Come," Izuku said as he pulled on Sylphie's hand to the boy's locker room. Sylphie looked nervous as Izuku pulled off his shirt and pulled down his pants. A bright red color covered her face.

"What are you waiting for? You'll get sick if you keep those clothes on," Izuku spoke.

Unexpected, Izuku pulled down Sylphie's pants. When he saw the unblinding truth, Sylphie is a girl, while he just looked at her private parts.

An ear-piercing scream moved through the empty pool. Izuku faced away from her; Sylphie is a girl. How could he miss that? Was Sylphie not even her full name? She never corrected him in any of their conversions.

Inko stomped her foot, "I'm sorry, Sylphie." Izuku spoke; he just thought she was shy, not that she is a girl. How could he even talk to her now? The same way as before, no, that won't be right; the other girls at school mock him and sneer at him.

Would Sylphie be the same?

"It's Sylphiette. I was bad at the language and couldn't correct you."

"Still, I'm sorry. I can't say anything more, but please, I don't want to lose my best friend, Sylphie… Sorry, Sylphiette. I'll do anything to make up for it." Izuku spoke, hanging his head in shame.

Sylphie placed her hand on his head, rubbing it. "You're my best friend too. And the only person in my life I could never hate you."

"Then, with that sorted out, why don't we shop for some clothes for Sylphiette tomorrow, oh, and Izuku dear. Mind explaining to me how long she's been living here? And why is your dear best friend an Elf?"

'How did she find out?' Izuku thought inside his head,

"I'm your mother, dear. There's nothing you can hide from me." Inko's smile was nothing short of terrifying.

And now, she can read minds.

It was relatively early in the morning as the train rushed past the trees and darted through the tunnel. The largest city on the North Side is Castle Town. Named after the castle that the city formed itself around, oddly enough, there was no king or queen, but there was a princess. Princess Serenity. Yet, in Castle Town, committing crimes within these walls was challenging.

After all, a towering brick wall first surrounded the place, and then there were Pro-Heroes everywhere. Even the current number one, All Might, his hero station, was here.

Yet, there are shady businesses and trading. Demi-humans are people who were born half human and half animal. It wasn't a Quirk since they could learn Esper powers or be born with Quirks. They weren't all human or animal; humans saw them as a stain on the eyes.

They were refusing to give them jobs or homes. Then, the Slave Traders came in, people with the ability to enslave Demi-humans. It was shady, horrible, and downright sickening. Yet, heroes disregarded them. It gave Demi-humans a home, a job, and a family; no one cared about them.

Inko took Sylphie by the arm and dragged her away. Izuku wanted to find a gift for her; it had been almost the day since they first met. The streets were busy, and Midoriya got pushed off to the side into the deep, dark alleyway.

The ground opened underneath him, causing the young boy to fall on his butt down each of the steps, causing a loud thumping noise.

"Goodness, what is with all the noise?" A man's voice wondered as he stepped through the bright purple curtains.

Izuku looked at the strange one; he was a short and creepy-looking man. Dressed in a circus ringmaster's tuxedo, he wore glasses with a small chain attached and white alchemist gloves. Sporting a long top hat and a red bow tie with a small diamond brooch in its center. He looked somewhat sinister, with an omnipresent grin and an old-fashioned handlebar mustache.

"Oh, are you harmed anywhere, young one? Did you accidentally fall in here? My place of business isn't one for the youth." He spoke, and he didn't seem as evil as he looked. "Oh dear, I've seen to forget to induce myself; I am, Lord Beloukas, a pleasure to meet you."

"No, I'm not hurt. I got lost. My mom and friend were out shopping for clothes. Oh, right, I'm Midoriya Izuku."

"Then, I shall guide you back to the surface and help you locate the guards to find your mother and dear friend."

Midoriya's eyes traveled to the curtain, "Ah, sorry, my young friend. That's not for the young ones. Grow-ups only, you see, I sell pets." Beloukas spoke,

"What if… I'm a paying customer?" Izuku wondered,

"Someone so young, but that sharp glare in your eyes. It speaks wonders of how you see the world. Tell me, why do you make such an expression?" Beloukas wondered. He leaned down, his smile never leaving his face. It was creepy. "I like eyes, and I like yours the most."

It was only pets, right?

Cages upon cages, chains wrapped around each of the cages. Seeing it made Izuku sick to his stomach. He was selling enslaved Demi-humans. Like they were Goddamn pets,

"Demi-humans mean nothing to us, actual humans. And I have quite the collection if I do say so myself. The closest thing to demons, and demons plague the South Side."

Izuku jumped back when he saw a wolf; his claws scratched at the bars. "Come, don't fall behind." Slave trades weren't legal, but this was just wrong. Beloukas was saying something about them being problematic.

There was no way Izuku could free them. It just put a pin in his stomach. His eyes drifted to a far-off one. Slightly covered by a blanket, it wasn't getting any light, and he could hear the faint sounds of coughing.

A person, these were all humans. At least to Izuku, this one was sick, chained up, wearing dirty rags, and looked like she was at Death's door. "Can you raise your head?" Izuku wondered,

She was cute and looked close to his age, with raccoon ears and a collar around her neck. The worst part was when she reminded him of Sylphiette when they first met.

"Do you have a name? I'm Midoriya Izuku."

"R-Raph… Raph… Talia." She feared him, so her words got caught in her throat.

Raphtalia. Huh? "Compared to the fox species, the raccoons are not popular; they are prone to panic attacks and suffer from disease. I'm sure she does not have long to live."

Her body's so thin… She's completely terrified. She's a Demi-human. Furthermore, she doesn't look any different from an average human, so why treat a young girl this way? It was beyond cruel!

"I'll take her,"

Raphtalia screamed in pain. Her slave mark burned right on her chest. Izuku forced himself to look at her. She shouldn't go through it alone. But, she was his slave now. It cost him almost all of his money, and he barely had anything left over. Maybe enough for some clothes and lunch.

Once Beloukas was gone, Raphtalia shook as Izuku's hand reached her. His hand gently placed itself on her head, pulling her into a small hug. "I couldn't think of any other way to save you. Raphtalia."

Save her? What did that even mean? "You wanted to save me?"

"Yes, when I saw you. You reminded me of not only myself but my friend. I was unable to leave you there to die. We're Master and Slave only on paper, but I want to be your friend or at least older brother."

That was a fantasy; Raphtalia knew that Izuku would soon treat her like everyone else: a monster.

Midoriya looked at her; Raphtalia was dirty, and her hair was messy and greasy. Her clothes were thin, and she was nothing more than skin and bones. It was no wonder why she was dirt cheap. That slaver trader was marking her to die.

He couldn't order her to do anything. Well, he could. But it would just cause her pain; that was the last thing Izuku wanted to do to her and the last thing Raphtalia needed.

Izuku held on her hand, "Hold on tight; I'm going to get you settled."

Raphtalia only nodded; it was an order from her Master. Who knew what would happen if she disobeyed? The ringing of a bell as the two children stepped inside. It was a clothing store, as well as a bathhouse. "Sorry, sir. We don't serve that kind in here."

Izuku wanted to buy Sylphie a present. He has been doing chores and saving up any amount of money. Plus what he had earned from his deadbeat of a father. Ultimately, he got a total of 50,000 Yen, and the worst part was that Raphtalia only cost 10,000.

Izuku slapped 20,000 Yen, "Will this be enough to turn not only a blind eye and fix her up?"

"Indeed, sir, right away, sir."

Money talks. An hour passed, followed by another—his phone beeped as his mom texted him about them finishing shopping.

To Izuku

'Just finished up dear, Sylphie and I shall meet you at Western Restaurant Nekoya. Oh, and Izuku, dear. You better not do anything reckless and stupid again. Like, I don't know… Buying a slave.'

From Inko

Sweat dripped from his forehead; his mother terrified him. Could she see in the future or know everything Izuku was doing? Maybe it was Mother Knows Best. The doors finally opened, and Raphtalia looked like an ordinary girl.

Her hair was clear, and Izuku could see her long, bright orange hair with the two raccoon ears. Her skin was clean and not dirty, and her eyes were still rather lifeless. Furthermore, her dress was long, reaching down to her knees; one could see the raccoon tail sticking out. It was red in the center and black on both sides, with gray sleeves.

"Wow, Raphtalia, you look beautiful," Izuku stated, a blush on his cheeks.

"If it's for my Master's wishes…" Raphtalia spoke,

They needed to set a stage. Where the two were on the same level. Not Master and Slave, until Izuku could free Raphtalia of that slave mark of hers. But how? Was there any way to bring her up? Yes. One. The only way to bring her up was to push him down. The worthless one wasn't Raphtalia, but it was Izuku, and he needed to be the one to prove that.

"You're not worthless, Raphtalia, and you're not a mistake. You know this, right?" Izuku wondered,

"Those are kind words, dear Master. But, it means nothing." She replied,

"Do you have any special powers, like a Quirk?"

"I do, Vassal Katana. However, no one knows what it does or how to activate it."

"I can teach you that I always study Quirks and Esper Abilities. But for me, I'm different. Raphtalia was born without a Quirk or the ability to become an Esper."

Raphtalia didn't know what to say to that, "But, I won't give up. I want to become a hero one day. And do the things that people pay no heed to. I promise you, Raphtalia, I will free you. You're not my slave; you're my friend, and I'll be your shield, so nothing will ever hurt you again!"

Lucid, warm tears rushed down her eyes; Izuku pulled her close to him. He held the Raccoon girl close to his body, letting her tears soak his clothing.

When the two of them arrived at Western Restaurant Nekoya, there was a sign saying, 'No Demi-humans Allowed.' Izuku held Raphtalia by her hand; it was already dead for keeping an Elf; how worse could it get?

Inko pulled his ear, "Don't worry, you did nothing wrong, dear." Inko spoke, patting Raphtalia's head. "You, however,"

"I couldn't leave her alone," Izuku spoke.

"Just like you, Izuku," Sylphie stated.

His life was like this, a large smile on his face—a cute best friend, a slave in name only, and a kind mother. He would never want to change it for the world.

Were there some dark moments that he couldn't tell anyone, yes. Indeed, there were, but those were his demons to face and his alone.

Those bullies, the teachers who turned a blind eye to him. The teachers would trip him over if they saw Midoriya in the halls. It was nothing but torture; the only place where he could smile was at home, surrounded by the ones he loved.

Four Years later.

A lot has changed within these four years. The first significant thing was that Sylphie could cast Voiceless Incarnation; it took her a year to learn it, and she finally cast one at seven. Then her wand, which was petite and fit inside one hand, was carved out of wood with a red gem on the tip, made by Izuku, a small gift for her.

Then they learned about Vassal Katana, which was made by a grand Katana Spirit. A rare Quirk, one of a kind, it allows Raphtalia to summon a Vassal Weapon, aka a Vassal Katana; it was so rare that only eight Vassal Weapons existed and could go eons before one would be gifted for one. It was where the Quirk chose the person and not vice versa. There's no way a person can plan it, and it was even rumored that the original holder of each of the Vassal Weapons still lives to this day.

Raphtalia swore to become Izuku's Sword, whatever that meant, and their once small family of two, just Inko and Izuku—turned into a family of four, adding Sylphie and Raphtalia. Inko often whispered things into Sylphie's and Raphtalia's ears, causing them to blush.

Yet, Izuku never overheard them.

Then everything changed,

It started on a standard day, and the sky was somewhat cloudy. It was clear that a storm was blowing through the city as Izuku got pushed into the mud by a couple of bullies.

Izuku kicked the ground as he walked home.

'Heh, heh, heh. Found you.'

Midoriya paused; he could've sworn he heard a girl's voice. A young girl, 'Your Master is calling you, pet. I am Shinobu Oshino.'

It was nothing. It has to be a strange dream, or he had hit his head too hard when he fell on the ground earlier. "Izuku!" Sylphie cried out,

He must not have heard her. Inko got her and Raphtalia to do the shopping, a pattern formed below Midoriya's feet. Sylphie rushed, dropping the bags of cake. Today was the day, the day when they first met—a day to remember for as long as they lived.

The ground below Izuku's feet began to glow as he got shoved from behind. His eyes turned to look at Sylphie, pushing him with her hands; Izuku fell out of the summoning gate as a bright light surrounded the area.

Magic was happening. It was something no one had ever seen, then nothing, and all that was left—a burn mark carved into the ground. Sylphie was nowhere to be found, and she pushed him out of the way. Saving him,

"SYLPHIE!" Izuku yelled out, his scream piece against the Heavens.

Next Time: Prologue Arc - Part 2.

Well, let's talk about it. I used He/Him rather than She/Her for Sylphie, this was because, in the Light Novels and anime of Mushoku Tensei, Sylphie was thought of as a boy when he was a she. I'll do this with Slient Fitz, since that is what the Light Novels did, unless we are around people who know Sylphie is a girl, or until we reach the point where Sylphie becomes a girl, which wouldn't be until after her sex scene with Izuku.

Oh, quick side note. Students from Class 1-A, such as Toru Hagakure and Minoru Mineta, ain't in Class 1-A. They have been replaced by and, in order, Fubuki and Miles Morales. Toru exists. She isn't in the hero course. Some more crossover characters might worm their way into Class 1-A, like regrets. If you want, I can put it into the Information Chapter alongside the Top Ten Heroes. It would make no sense if Class 1-S was the only place that has crossover characters.

This is going to be a long story. Does anyone want to help? No. Okay.
