Chapter 6 Ending the Cybertronian war
It's been a week since XANA attacked using Duel monsters but ultimately failed and now was in league with COBRA and HYDRA.
Now things were calm again.
Right now though.
Sean chuckled seeing Hobbs teaching the Lyoko warriors how to fight with Odd getting his ass kicked.
"How the hell have you guys lasted this long? At least she's actually trying." Hobbs said as Yumi panted in exhaustion.
"HAHAHA! To be fair most of the things they faced didn't involve combat outside of Lyoko." Sean said.
"Kid your up." Brian said making Jeremy gasp.
"But I can't fight. Thats what they do." Jeremy said.
"Oh for the love of." Sean said.
"Sean was learning how to fight when he was only ten when he first showed up." Vince said.
"How did you show up in their universe anyway?" Yumi asked.
"Completely by accident." Sean said making Dom and Vince chuckle. "So how's Mia doing with her pregnancy?" Sean asked.
Mia had been pregnant for a couple weeks before they joined the Legion.
She was currently using a special pill that was developed to speed up the Pregnancy to only 2 months instead of the traditional 9. And Also prevented birth defects and disorders while increasing intelligence.
"Pretty good actually. She's due any day now." Brian said smirking.
"I'll bet." Sean said. "Ok lets put this on hold for now." Sean said making Odd sigh in relief making Hobbs chuckle.
While the others were placing new machines in Sean was outside with a drink in hand.
"Hey Sean." Brian said getting his attention.
"Whats up?" Sean asked.
"Let me ask you? What do you remember about your dad?" Brian asked.
"My Dad? Heh. He uh...He always said I was going to do great things one day since I could remember. Then after I met Dom and his original Crew...I decided to explore the Multiverse my Great Grandfather created for five years before he caught me. Instead of scolding me...He said I was on the track to being a good leader. My Dad was perhaps the most encouraging person you could ever meet next to my Grandfather." Sean said making him chuckle.
"Thats just it. I don't remember shit about my dad. I don't remember him smiling, I don't remember him yelling. Hell I don't even remember what he looked liked. He was just never there you know?" Brian asked.
"If you're worried you're gonna be like that don't. It's easy to tell family means everything to you. One of the few things I first learned when I first arrived in your universe 8 years ago...It all depends on how people are raised that makes them the way they are or the person in question who's being raised. And you're not like that. It's why Dom hasn't killed you for knocking his Sister up before marrying her." Sean said making him burst out laughing as did he.
"Yeah I guess." Brian said.
Sean stood up before cracking his neck.
"Now I got something else I gotta do. Ending one more war." Sean said.
"What war?" Brian asked.
"Aren't you forgetting that amongst all 60 universes that merged that one had a major war going on full of machines." Sean said.
"Oooh. I get it now." Brian said as he vanished.
Meanwhile
On a warship known as the Nemesis stood Magatron who was above the Planet Earth.
He had been contemplating his next move since the Merger. (He's from Prime just so everyone knows. I love the Armada-Cybertron versions the most but this one is an improved version of the Original so I went with it)
Thats when he raised an eyebrow.
"It's not easy sneaking up on me." Megatron said looking behind him and looking down seeing Sean in his armor. "Ah. Kruger I believe." Megatron said.
"I see you've kept tabs on this world since the Merger. Smart." Sean said.
"Being a leader means more than just being in charge. You have to prove your position with tactics." Megatron said.
"How true." Sean said jumping to a console as the rest of the Decepticons looked on.
"HEY! How did this puny little human get here." Cyclonus asked about to pick him up but got grabbed by him. (Armada version)
"Don't kill the Messenger or the Messenger will kill you." Sean said snapping his finger making him cry out as he threw him on his back.
"OW!" Cyclonus making Demolisher and Star scream laugh. (Demolisher from Transformers Armada and Star Scream from Transformers Cybertron but with his armada personality)
"So...What do I owe this visit?" Megatron asked.
"Just to talk and end this war." Sean said.
"End the War with the Autobots? And why would I do that?" Megatron asked.
"For the Restoration of Cybertron?" Sean asked making him narrow his eyes.
"I'm no fool. I know very well how advanced Immortal technology is. You could repair it in weeks. But you would place the Autobots back in charge going back to the flawed system it was." Megatron said.
"I know all about why the war started and everything. I was told from someone you trust." Sean said.
"Oh? And who is it that you know that told you?" Megatron asked.
"Maybe this will answer your question." Sean said as a space bridge opened up as someone started coming through.
Who it was made Arachnid pause.
"He...Lives?" Arachnid asked seeing the top Decepticon Scientist.
Shockwave.
"Lord Megatron." Shockwave said bowing.
"Shockwave. This is very unexpected." Megatron said before glaring at Arachnid. "I thought you had perished on Cybertron." Megatron said making her scoff.
"No she just didn't bother. I would know. I was there." Sean said shocking her.
"Is that so?" Megatron asked glaring at her.
"Are you seriously going to believe this fleshling?" Arachnid asked in shock.
"Everything he says is all true. Immortals never lie." Shockwave said.
"Guards!" Megatron yelled making them step forward before she hissed and webbed them.
"You'll pay for this boy!" Arachnid yelled transforming and flew off.
Or rather she tried once she suddenly froze in the air making her groan.
Megatron looked seeing Sean with his hand out before pulling her back as he grabbed her before she transformed against her will.
"How impressive." Megatron said.
"My armor is more special than people realize. It also helps me further control my abilities." Sean said slamming her down hard knocking her out as she was taken away.
"Tell me how did you two meet?" Megatron asked.
"When Arcee and Cliffjumper escaped and wounded him. I found him and brought him back to his labs and repaired his eye. Now it's impossible for him to lose his sight since the lens is indestructible." Sean said.
"Ah, I see. You certainly have my attention now." Megatron said.
"I know before the war there was a great amount of inequality. And the Honor guard ignored the pleas for help. Thats why you wanted them overthrown with a new one who people could trust. However your outburst of being demanded to be named the next prime is what lost you everything and Optimus when he was Orion Pax got their attention with his words." Sean said.
"You know our history. No doubt Optimus told you." Megatron said.
"Even if you did get the Matrix it wouldn't make you a Prime. The right had to be earned not given. So even if you had it now it wouldn't change anything." Sean said.
"Perhaps." Megatron said seeing the Logic in that.
"However I can make sure that there actually are changes to make sure history does not repeat itself. And make sure any surviving Honor guards are actually held accountable for what they did in the past. Everyone needs to be held accountable for their neglect of their duty." Sean said.
"Hmm. Say I agree to this...How soon would it take to fully rebuild Cybertron?" Megatron asked.
"On the surface? Days. It's the core however though thats the problem. After all I know for a fact that the core is the very creator of the Transformers. We need to find a way to revive the core. And since it's by technicality a living thing...Thats gonna take longer. But at the very least we can rebuild the surface and the underground to the way it was before the war." Sean said.
"We may not get another chance at this." Thundercracker said.
"Hmm. Well...I can see you keep your word if Shockwave clearly trusts you. However I want to make this clear. Those of the Autobots who were of the Honor guard will never get their old positions back. They proved they didn't deserve them." Megatron said.
"Agreed." Sean said.
Later
"WHAT!" Ratchet yelled.
"You heard me. Ultra Magnus and those who were on the Honor guard will not have their old positions back. I'm not gonna have them go back to ignoring those who cry for help because they think it's beneath them." Sean said.
"I agree the Honor guard was...Questionable during the twilight years of Cybertron. But not all of them ignored the people." Optimus said.
"Ultra Magnus did." Sean said looking at him as he looked away in shame. "Doesn't even have the courage to admit it. Just sits in silence." Sean said annoyed.
"I admit we made mistakes in those years. But Megatron..." Ultra Magnus tried to say.
"He was trying to bring out equality. And believed you all should be thrown away for good reason. Granted it should have been more civil but nevertheless. He wasn't wrong to try and discard you." Sean said.
"And your people never made mistakes?" Magnus challenged.
"We never had the same issues as you period. Only once in the very beginning did we fight for a hundred years against an enemy who tried to wipe us out. And a second time during Arthur's prime did they fight again and even then our military helped those in need. Where you did nothing." Sean said making him lower his head.
"I hate to say it but Sean's got a point. They didn't really live up to their name." Arcee said.
"Oh yeah." Wheeljack said.
"Sounds like the Honor guard weren't as honorable as they should have been." Leo said.
"We made mistakes. Arrogance ruled the ranks back then." Ultra Magnus said.
"That doesn't excuse what happened. Your job was to the people. Not yourselves. Master Splinter says when you ignore your duty you lose all your honor to yourself and others." Leo said making him sigh.
"Fact is the Honor guard when Cybertron is fully rebuilt will be reorganized from the ground up and the old one will be discharged...Period." Sean said.
"If it means an end to the War with the Decepticons...I will allow it." Optimus said.
Later
Sean was in his office that had been made for him before sitting down in a chair looking at some reports.
"Whats all this?" Dom asked walking in seeing the holograms of files on people.
"Potential recruits. Since Darkseid is looking for allies we need to do the same. I need as many people as I can find and believe me it's gonna take a lot. I would know. I've seen Darkseid's tactics firsthand before the Merge." Sean said.
"When?" Dom asked.
"Shortly before I got caught I went to the League's universe one last time...And I saw with my own eyes what Darkseid was capable of. He almost managed to take the planet but New Genesis arrived before he could. Killed a police detective just to mock Superman before we left. And then...Shortly after he somehow brainwashed him and attacked the earth. Thankfully he broke free. But his reputation was heavily damaged." Sean said.
"Ouch." Dom said.
"You always told me respect is more than money and fame and reputation. I always agreed with that." Sean said making him chuckle.
"So...When was the last time you came to our universe?" Dom asked.
"What makes you think I wasn't there period? I been there a dozen times but I decided to mostly learn from some people before I went back. Then you guys were forced to leave." Sean said.
"How come you didn't stop by?" Dom asked.
"I was learning things from people. By the way...I uh...Been meaning to tell you this." Sean said.
"What?" Dom asked.
"I found Jakob." Sean said making him frown.
"I don't wanna hear it." Dom said about to leave when Sean snapped his fingers and the doors shut making him sigh. "All right what is it?" Dom asked.
"I talked to him about your Dad's little...Accident. He told me what really happened." Sean said.
"I already know what happened. He was trying to throw the race without telling us." Dom said.
"Not...Exactly true." Sean said confusing him.
"What are you talking about?" Dom asked.
"He did try to sabotage the car...But only because your dad told him to." Sean said making him frown.
"What? My dad would never throw a race." Dom said.
"He would...If he knew he had no choice. You guys were in deep debt. Did you notice anything strange back then?" Sean asked making him frown as he thought back.
"Well...I think so. So he was gonna throw the race and win back money we needed...Only thats not the only thing that happened." Dom said.
"Your Dad died because of that jackass who rammed into him from behind. And because of him tampering with the fuel line it's what caused it to explode." Sean said.
"Why didn't he tell me?" Dom asked.
"Because your Dad asked him not to knowing you would never go along with it. He told me though to let me know since I earned his trust. He didn't ask me not to tell you." Sean said.
Dom sighed as he sat down.
"I basically disowned my own brother because I thought he did it for money or something." Dom said.
"It just means you're human. Just as flawed as anyone else." Sean said sitting down.
"Where is he?" Dom asked.
"Now? Don't know. I know he works for an organization but contacting them is...Kinda difficult." Sean said.
"Difficult?" Dom asked.
"Think of them of like a higher ranked CIA sort of thing." Sean said making him chuckle. "Relax. You two can sort out your issues at a later date. Right now we got other things to do." Sean said.
"You know if Letty was alive she would have told you you've grown up big time." Dom said making him chuckle.
"Yeah...I miss her." Sean said.
"Me too." Dom said as they left.
Later
Sean and Dom arrived at the hospital as Mia was in the process of Labor.
"Ten bucks it's a girl." Vince said.
"30 it's a boy." Roman said.
"Will you idiots shut up." Sean said making Vince chuckle as Mia screamed loudly as she heard soft crying.
"Here we go." Ann possible said taking the baby away.
"Isn't she Kim's mom?" Han asked.
"Yup. Private nurse and doctor of the Legion." Sean said as she gave the baby back to them in a blue blanket making Mia cry softly holding her son.
"So what are you gonna name him?" Tej asked making them smile.
"Jack O'Connor." Mia said making them smile.
"You named him after your father?" Sean asked.
"Sounds fitting." Mia said making him chuckle.
"I wish Letty could see this." Sean said.
"Yeah...Me too." Dom said.
Later
Sean was back in his office going over some new reports when Rogue walked in.
"You're gonna wanna see this." Rogue said with a digital screen in hand.
"What is it?" Sean asked.
"Some serious drivers robed a convoy in Berlin." Rogue said.
"That is not my problem. That is Interpol's territory." Sean said.
"You might wanna rethink that. Since one of them is supposed to be dead." Rogue said making him curious as he opened the file seeing some photos.
Only to see someone who made his eyes widen in shock.
Letty Ortez.
"Letty?" Sean asked.
"You believe in ghosts?" Rogue asked.
"You do realize there are Ghosts now from Dani's universe right?" Sean asked.
"Oh right." Rogue said.
"But...This is no ghost...I need more answers before I bring this up to Dom and the others." Sean said closing the file.
Author's note: Oh suspense is building up. Letty is alive when she was said to be dead. I wonder how things are gonna play out here? We'll see soon enough. Tomorrow I'm gonna upload a new story involving One Shots with Naruko. So be ready for that tomorrow. Anyway next chapter involves a certain hero from the 40's so be ready for that.
