Chapter 10:Enjoy Yourselfs
In another part of the kingdom of vacou right now unfortunately being stuck being with a bunch of random women was zane. But those women where his blood mothers teammates from her huntress days right now. As right now he was being pinched in the face by one of them.
That being a women with slightly tanned skin along with having a set of black eyes in her late thirites. While her hair was dark puple reaching her shoulder. Along with having a slender and welldevelop hourglass build to her. She also wore a simple pair of black combat pants with a dark pruple long sleeve shirt underneath a brown bandoiler going over her chest
While another women was in her late thirtes with her having a dark skin complexin. Her hair was light green in color with her having light blue eyes. Along with wearing a pair of tan flared dress pants with a lime green sweater on with a silver wedding right on her hand. She wore a pair of charchocol black short heels
Their was also another women who was in her late thirties as well. Though she had a pale skin complexion with dark green eyes and blonde hair cut short. But she a vertical scar over her right eye. While she wore some blues jeans with a matching tan blouse top.
In the room also with them was his sister zoey and her wife. Along with sal being held by some familiar people for the tiger faunus. That being tom and ruthie with his aunt lilith their too as the first women cooed slightly
"Awww when we got told my old partner was alive and kicking. I could't believe it, along with the little baby she had"the first women cooed as he blushed embarrassed as nadia chuckled
"Well shae i'm shocked myself to meet this partner of yours"nadia said to the women known as shae. With the second sighing as she messed with her nails
"I can't believe our team resident clown is alive. Along with finally seeing your stupid semblance"the second said as hel sighed
'I'm sorry den. Family secret or what not but guess that got me outed and killed."hel said knocking on her own head with the third placing a hand on her shoulder
"Come now hel. You didn't know you'd end up being taken by slavers…at least my old teasing freind is back"the third said as lilith chuckled
"It seems so winnie"lilith replied
As shae kept tugging at zane cheeks before he broke free with an embarrassed look
"I am not a baby. That is a baby"zane said pointing at sal who was being held by ruthie as the little fox shuffled around in her arms as ruthie cooed
"Awww thats right my little niece has a grandchild right now. Your so precious sweetie"ruthie cooed as tom chuckled into a sigh

Nadia rubbed the back of her head"honeslty this is strange myself uncle. But hmmm..any idea on what to do in the meantime"she asked the blood mother of her son who hummed as crimson deposited herself on her lap
"He can call me mama like he did as a baby"hel suggested making him go red in the face right now with zoey holding a laugh back
"Perfect little nickname…you can call her mama hel baby brother"zoey cooed as he growled going into his prowler form snarling at his sister right now for that
"Shut up! Right now i feel embarrassed and confused myself….because i apparently now have twenty four…girlfriends…oh no"he said realziing his mistake with winnie bursting into laughter hearing that as den went oh as shae stared at her partner who grinned
"My kid is a ladies man and your isn't"hel teased as shae glared at her
"Hey! Don't be like that…my little kurai will find someone she…wait a minute"shae paused for a moment staring at him as the two eyes met as he groaned falling onto the couch covering his face embarrassed even more she was one of his girlfriends moms.
Winnie started to wheeze clutching her stomach in complete joy

"Yes. silas and me have been married for almost a few years well…she accepted me faster than i expected as her real mother. Funny how we both met at this spooky holiday party back then'Shae replied
"Ohhh you where always one to be a spooky girl. Besides now my joke has resurface from the past"hel proudly said as den groaned

"Oh don't be so bleak dear. Those two are smiling beyond the grave, but i do remember babysitting for you a few times dear."ruthie reminded the tiger
"God do not remind of those days. I'm starting to remember the day you two started to finally started to call each other siblings"nadia replied recalling that day with akata interest being peeked

"Mom don't you dare tell them that day…pleases it so embarrassing"zoey begged but winnie covered her mouth shushing her

Many years ago
It was almost one year into being taken in by the tiger faunus boxer in the apartment they lived in. Nadia was their but still hasn't gone through with getting her new shiny metal arm yet. The tiger faunus was cooking lunch as she flipped something with her single arm.
While the adoptive brother of hers who was just playing with some blocks. Though close by in the room with them was a younger roman torchwich. With his two kids being lazuli's and vance who were doing what they usually do, fight over something stupid. Which right now was who got to pick desert for tonight
"I wanna pick it"vance said
"No me because I was here first"lazuli replied as the two were tumbling around as Roman frowned at this
"Seriously these two just keep fighting over the most trivil things"Roman groaned rubbing his eyes
"Hey like I said before they'll warm up to each other"nadia said as she tried to flip something in the frying pan. But failed as he noticed this walking over
"Here let me help you"Roman said offering to help
"I got it…just let me…get"nadia stated as she tried to flip whatever was in the pan. But failed as it fell onto the stove which was a piece of raw steak. She sighed heavily looking at her missing right arm
"Nadia maybe it's time to start considering a.."Roman begun but she stopped him
"I'm not ready torch, I just need some more time"nadia interrupted as she turned the stove off. Then she threw what was left in the garbage.
The tiger faunus rubbed her eyes" why don't we just go get some takeout for the night. Been at it for almost forty minutes now."nadia suggested as Roman chuckled
"Alright but you two are coming with"Roman said as he walked over sepearting the two tots who were fighting. He picked vance up as he looked at lazuli spitting his tongue at her. The girl was annoyed glaring at him returning it.
Nadia chuckled as she grabbed her coat and looked to zoey.
"Zoey be a dear and watch your little brother while we're gone"nadia said as the fox faunus rolled her eyes
"He ain't my brother"she replied annoyed looking over at zane who just stared at her
The women sighed holing her head with her one hand"sweetie come on it's been a year now. I thought you two warmed up to each other"she said looking over at the young tot who placed another block on top of another. The tiger faunus smiled waving to him as he returned it.
Though Zoey rolled her eyes throwing herself back"like I said before he ain't related by blood to me so he isn't my brother"she replied as nadia tried to say more but stopped as her and Roman left with the two others in tow.
About thirty minutes later zoey was on the couch reading a book. As she did her tail swayed a little. Though soon enough she glanced out of the corner of her eyes frowning. That dumb three year old pulled himself up slowly sitting their staring at her
She returned it as he slightly had his tongue out. This started to annoy her because he just stares at her.
"What do you want?"she asked slightly annoyed,he just raised his arm up for a hug it seems but she rolled her eyes.
"I ain't hugging you brat"zoey said looking at her book again. Though he just slowly mad his way over. She heard this deciding to just ignore him.
The fox faunus sat their for a bit before she felt something step on her tail. The girl went wide eyed as she looked at zane who stepped on her tail. She growled before pushing him off her tail as he fell backwards falling to the ground with a thud
"You stupid idiot! You stepped on my tail leave me alone!"she screamed in rage at the three year old
He immedialty recoiled a little as her she rubbed her tail. Though as she did this she looked at him as he was about to cry. The fox faunus rolled her eyes as she just sat their. Soon enough he started to cry a little as she just covered her ears.
"Ughh shut up your so annoying. All you ever know how to do is cry, sit in silence or call me that stupid name"she said as he just sat their crying softly
Though soon enough the front door to the apartment was opened. Then nadia stepped inside as Roman carried the food they bought. While lazuli and Vance walked inside. Though she looked noticing the crying kid in the ground while the other ignored him
"What happen"she said walking over slouching down picking him up with her good arm
"Yeah, we weren't gone that long"Roman said as lazuli and Vance seemed to dig into the food they got as he handed him it. It looked to be from a local restaurant close tiger faunus sat on the couch as she held him.
Zoey rolled her eyes"nothing he just fell, it ain't that big of a deal"she replied
"And why didn't you help him?"nadia questioned her adoptive daughter
"She right you always help out your family no matter what"Roman added as he was making sure his adopted kids weren't fighting
Zoey groaned"okay well the dumb brat was annoying the heck out of me. Then the idiot stepped on my tail so I pushed him a little too hard big deal"zoey replied in anger and annoyance to the two surprise. Though nadia narrowed her gaze sitting up walking vee handing zane to Roman who took him.
"Okay it might have been an accident. But you didn't need to push your bro—"she started as zoey stopped her
"That dam annoyance isn't my brother and you aren't my mom!"she screamed in annoyance as nadia visbale stepped back. Though Roman was surprised a little by this as well. The young fox faunus went a little wide eyed before retreating to her room and locking it.
About a few hours later zoey was in her room sitting in the corner with a blanket wrapped around her. She heard her apparent adoptive mother try to get her to respond. But she refused because she felt a little guilty saying that stuff to her. She helped save her from being in foster care along with those slavers.
The fox faunus tail slightly swayed around thinking to herself"why does that little brat keep insisting I'm his sister. Seriously I know he was at the same camp as me. But all he does is follow me or nadia around. I get he's only three year old but it's annoying."she thought to herself
"Ughh and he stepped on my tail then cry's because of a little shove"zoey thoughts continued as she sat their for a bit. Though as she sat their soon enough she heard her door unlock. The fox faunus frowned as she saw Roman their with a lock pick in hand.
"And their we are one door unlock"he stated
"Thanks torch, couldn't find the key" Nadia said as she walked into the room. The fox faunus shifted around avoiding her gaze
"What do you want?"zoey asked
Nadia sighed walking over taking a spot near her" that maybe I come check up on you and see if you wanna apologize"she said
"For what? He stepped on my tail he—"zoey begun but she stopped her
"Hitting someone for an accident isn't always the answer. Look I took you two in because you had nowhere to go. You've been here for a year almost and I thought you warm up to each other"nadia started
"Why should I all he does is follow me around or call me that dumb name"zoey replied
Nadia chuckled"Aww you don't like the little nickname he gave you"she playfully said ruffling the girl head as she swayed at her
"Why should I it's stupid because he just say…"she started as she heard something which annoyed her slightly
"Foxy"zane said as she looked close to her not realizing he was next to her. Zoey frowned at that name as nadia smiled a little
"Quit calling me that twerp"zoey said as she looked at him. But noticed he had a small pastry in hand. It was wrapped up but he walked over to her stumbling a little. Though he soon placed it on her lap. Then he just hugged her on the side.
"Sorry..zoey"he said which surprised her beacsue he only called her foxy or sister. She looked at him as he hugged her and she felt a little bad for what he did to him early. The fox faunus sighed heavily as she hugged the small tot
"It fine…little brothe"she hesitantly said as the small tot just leaned his head against her. She began to smile a little holding him. Nadia smiled at this because it seemed the two were finally getting close to each other

They where let in for free from the staff for their current reputation which was something that yang was living up right now. But with them right now was emerald, adder, bashira and neptune. Along with someone else that being ember who was munching on a big bucket full of popcorn right now
"God i can;t even imagine those things still exist. I've had a wonderful time seeing movies. Back then we didn't have those"ember said munching away on some popcorn
"Oh really? Then what did you guys have back in the day"neptune questioned

"Either we had jousting matches or watched the local drunks fight each other. "Ember answered with adder hissing into laughter at that
"Seems like something you'd see nowadays. But we have a little thing called video games and movies"adder said with yang staring at him for a long time before humming which emerald noticed

"Hey i heard from sun dad early that he might be at the boxing gym here getting some rounds in with him. Along with colt"neptune said

They walked through the streets being offered food from the nearby vendors as they refuses feeling rather full. But ember wasn't who happily kept munching away on the food offered to her as she had a stick of meat chomping down on it as blake watched her as she could rival nora appetite
"You seem to enjoy eating alot"blake pointed out with ember burping whipping her mouth off
"Seriously you should have seen her at all you can eat buffet. She ate more than nora"emerald replied as the two could only imagine that right now
"She out ate nora? Has the world ended and is she the new girl who can eat so much food it doesn't affect her hips"yang quipped
This made ember laugh"Well how you phrased that wish to amborise. From what we gathered i can feel full but it doesn't affect my bodie. I'm exactly what i was when i got transferred into that glove"ember replied but sighed as she stared at her hands clenching them feeling her flesh sighing

"I still can't thank you enough for what you did for me. It…means so much…i can…actually die and see my children finally"ember said as it sounded dark but yang sighed hugging her back
"Thats nice. But please don't try and kill yourself to get their quciker"yang begged as she promised she wouldn't

"God shes worse than my mom"yang said as a caw could be heard as someone roosted themselves on her shoulder as a raven nuzzled into her shoulder. Yang frowned noticing it
"Mom….do not tell me you've been spying on us"yang said as the raven flew up around a building before reappearing was raven who sighed with a laugh
"Not exactly. I was busy looking for you since i wanted to see if you wanted to do anything tomorrow together. Maybe take a ride on your bike"raven suggested as the blonde opened her mouth before sighing
"I'd love to do that. But…we kinda wanted to plan onxyia birthday for tomorrow"yang replied making her mother go wide eyed
"It slipped my mind the day we all thought you died was her birthday. Need help i can have the tribe find a nice spot in the dunes. We've patrolled the entire desert and kingdom of vacou at this point"raven offered
"Nah i think we should discuss it with her parents first. Maybe something small not too grand"emerald replied as raven smiled
"Well i was with your father at the gym. Him and azaril faced off for old times, though that man was dragged away by mars and lazerez early for bonding."raven replied as she joined them
They kept walking for what felt like forever at this point but soon they ended up at the new gym location for a boxing gym. With blake noticing the sign above it surprised to see that one from vale here right now. But as they walked inside they noticed the new and worn down gym equipment with everyone right now training or preparing for the fight ahead of them
"Man this place is weird. Its full of sweaty men and women"neptune joked as close by someone bonked him on the head that being tia who narrowed her gaze at him
"Shut up kid. though…"Tia paused before suddenly hugging blake and yang at the same time as they returned ittia
'You two are still a sight for sore eyes. Never thought to see me in one of these again"tia joked
"Well you started a fight last time. But i guess alot of people have redeem themselves for past actions"blake replied as tia blushed at that with a nervous look
"Yeah even ummm uh me with a…getting a um..new…grifliend finally"tia mentioned to the two surprise hearing she found another lover

As colt panted whipping his bald head down with a towel
"Man you threw a good punch blair. Let me guess you happy"colt asked as the man laughed
"Of course i am my little girl is back safe and sound"Declan cheered as his tail wagged with raven laughing walking over
"Really? If shes your little girl do you remember something special about her"Raven asked as the two shared confused look

"Uncle. It was her birthday on the day we evacuated atlas…remeber"blake said as it clicked with the man who tail sagged to the ground. Immediately the man started to freak out upon hearing it was his daughter birthday
"Noooo! I forgot about that…ohhh should we throw a big party…how should we do it…ohhh what should we do"declan asked like a worry wort right now as colt made him sit down
"Well we had an idea throw her one tomorrow with everyone she knows in our families. It'll be fun we can do present shopping for her tomorrow"yang replied
"But how will we keep her distracted?"tia asked
"Leave it to us we can distract someone pretty fine."neptune said with a smile
"Hmmm or just use velvet or one of her many girlfriends right now to keep her busy"adder suggested as they kept talking with them discussing on how to celebrate the wolfs big day for her.
In another part of the kingdom right now where a few of the others where. More importantly that being rogue, asani, mercury, ruby, mindey, tanner and zephyra. The group where just talking right now as they where grabbing a bite to eat at some burger joint
Tanner had a burger in hand before swallowing it laughing
"Oh man i can't believe this still happened to you guys. Your all so tiny"tanner said pointing at the picture they have of them being tiny
"Awww but its so cute. It would have been funny seeing little ruby turned into pocket size since she is one"midney teased as ruby rolled her eyes
"It was funny at first. But…meh at least we got out of their. "Ruby replied
"Are you serious red? I mean you all turned tiny….though be weird lugging my girlfriend around as a pocket size girl"mercury said making rogue blush as someone ruined it
"Well she make a perfect portable fl–"tanner was stopped as zephyra covered her boyfriend mouth growling at him

Mindey chuckled"awww but its funny when he tells dirty jokes. But man its so nice to see you again ruby. The tribe been in mourning for you, yang and your dad."she replied

"Actually it feels different. Though i rather not do the stupid birthday party right now…kinda of a waste of time right now"Ruby replied which made them confused especially midney
"Red. for the last time we have plenty of time before salem strikes besides you should enjoy some time with your family right now."mercury reminded
"Whats with you? Everysince you guys got back you've been itchy to fight salem and her forces"zephyra questioned as she hummed
"Just a new found confidence. That goddess did give me a pep talk down their…had to find the right way to it"ruby replied as rogue nerovusly laughed tugging at her cloth on her wrist
"Yeah….the….right….way"rogue said nerovusly which mercury noticed sharing a look with tanner. Along with midney ntoicing that as they continued to eat their food for a bit before calling it a break. As they where walking since the sun was starting to set suddenly rogue felt someone grab her shoulder as she looked back seeing it was tanner
"Rogue…we need to talk right now. Gather the others now"tanner ordered as she swallowed hard
"But um…uh..um..w-why?"she replied as midney stepped forward
"Girly call them up now. I wanna talk to xiaolong and your teammates including my cousins. Now"midney ordered as she relented calling the others up except for the wolf faunus
A few hours went by as the time ticked away by the minute. But in a secluded room of the academy right now yang, blake, weiss, neo, lazuli, adam, zane, eria and rogue where sitting down being integrated by some of them right now. Mainly being the three as mercury paced around the room rubbing his face. As sombra was also their for a certain reason.
"Okay why did we call this meeting right now? I was enjoying time with my dad"neo said annoyed
"Yeah and i was enjoying time getting some quality time with my mother and siblings"Weiss added but midney scoffed
"What the hell is going on with ruby shes acting weird"midney growled as they all froze up with blake messing with her prosthetic arm as lazuli messed with her necklace tiwlring it in her fingers. They noticed
"What? Ruby acting weird i mean…shes weird i mean….you must not be used to us being back"Zane said trying to leave but sombra slammed her hand on the door blocking their escape
"Oh really? Because for some reason today at the coffee shop. My cousin was confident…about her traits…something she never really had for years"sombra said before glaring at blake who looked away

They sat in silence for a moment before eria sighed rubbing her face before she started to quietly cry right now which they noticed. As she hugged herself with tanner walking over hugging her for a moment
"Eria….hey…why are you crying? Why are you crying?"tanner asked confused
Then the others shared looks with each other before sielntly nodding in agreement on this
"She has a good reason to cry right now. Look what were going to tell you will be…very…troubling"adam said softly
"Try us. Because their not even acting like themselves right now. Its like their a different person."mercury replied as he was half right now
"Your half right in a way. Look down in the ever after we didn't tell you all this but….theirs…something called ascension"blake explained to their confusion
"And what is this ascension exactly?"midney questioned as they paused on the word
"Well…picture this. You sometimes have to replace a new part for a car engine. After the old one runs out of its purpose. You need to find a new part thats the same but slightly different…brand new"lazuli explained as they slowly got it
"Okay what does that mean? I mean…what you telling us something happened to those two down their."tanner aksed still confused with adam crossing his arms deciding to flat out say it
"They went through the ascension process"adam said which made them all go quiet for a moment as mercury shook his head
"They went through it? How does this work exactly your still not making any sense"mercury asked as weiss messed with her tail sighing heavily
"Look ummm….it..kinda well…works like…like…umm…"She couldn't say it as blake hugged her with tears herself as she said it
