The next day, Lincoln woke up, did his routine, and got ready as he was going to get his comic signed today.
As for everyone else, they were running around and getting ready for church. It was a Sunday morning, after all. They soon sit at the dining room table and eat breakfast.
Luke noticed Hal carefully eating his breakfast so he wouldn't get anything on his nice clothes.
Oliver Queen had just drank a Golden Grahams Breakfast Essentials shake as he was tuning his guitar. Garth and Karen were the last two to come down and eat.
"All right, listen up. Here is how today is going to go. We're all going to church this morning. After church, we are going to have lunch in town, then we'll come home and change for the convention and spend the afternoon there. And we'll have dinner in town afterwards. Any questions?" Charity says, looking at the group.
"No." They say.
"Great. Now finish breakfast and get ready. Sunday School starts in 30 minutes and a lot of you aren't even dressed." Charity says.
The group finished what they could of their breakfast and got dressed, then the family headed to church.
Penny was at the hospital with Ashley since Mona was helping Mugman move stuff back into his room.
"So, how are you feeling?" Penny asked Ashley.
"Okay." Ashley says. "Where's Mona?"
"You keep asking for her like you love her." Penny says, frowning.
"She, well, understands me." Ashley says as Red plays video games.
"She's taken by Mugman. You have to understand that." Penny says. "She's with him today, helping him with stuff, if you really have to know."
At church, after Sunday School, Oliver Queen took off toward the youth building, guitar-clad. The others split between the main service and the youth service.
Hal and Shane had choir solos today, so a lot of the family was there to see that. The boys in question appeared with the choir as their friends cheered for them.
"Ready for this?" Shane asked Hal. Hal nodded and smiled.
They go on as Hal did his John The Revelator solo and Shane did his Days Of Elijah solo as their friends watched and cheered after them both.
The boys smiled at this. Luke watched this and clapped with the others.
After church, the guys sat together while eating lunch at The Cheesecake Factory.
"This is good stuff…" Luke says.
With Remy, he was with the Foxes at Gus', spending time together.
"So what are your plans for the show?" Oliver Fox asked.
"Atticus and I have an interview later with Ollie and Stephen." Remy bragged.
"Well, the Royal Metro Comic Con is happening today." Griffin says.
"And we're going to be the main attractions." Remy smiled, happy to perform at the Comic Con. Atticus was usually a big name in Metropolis before the merger.
"Actually, Remy, you know conventions like this have cosplay contests and stuff like that, so you won't be the only one performing there." Stevie says.
Remy stormed off. "It's always Luke, he's better…" he says, knowing they were only here for Luke. But he couldn't be more wrong. He'd have to see why at the con.
With the boys, they were discussing their cosplays for the convention.
Lincoln was going to be Ace Savvy. Shane was going as the Blue Beetle, with some upgrades to his current costume. Luke decided he was gonna be his Ace Savvy character, the Ice King Of Diamonds.
"What about you guys?" Shane asks the other boys as they think.
After lunch, Lincoln goes to meet up with Clyde and his group.
"Hey, guys." Stella says.
"Hey, Stella." The rest of the group says.
"So are you ready?" Rusty asked. Lincoln nodded as he headed in with his friends.
Luna and Sam were making out as they got carried away. Luna sucked on Sam's breast.
Sam moaned. "Luna…" she moaned.
Luna continued sucking for a bit until Sam climaxed.
With the others, they were heading to the convention. Luke was wearing his Ice King Of Diamonds costume and Shane was in his upgraded Blue Beetle costume.
Hal was Troy Bolton from High School Musical. Oliver Queen was dressed like one of his most creative alter egos, the Emerald Marksman. Barry was dressed like Zenitsu Agatsuma from the anime Demon Slayer. Garth was dressed like a character from his Star Battles comic books, and Carter was just wearing his normal clothes, showing no interest in doing any type of cosplay.
Melony was being dragged there by Cedric as she looked annoyed. Garrett was there with a few of his basketball friends, doing a group cosplay from Kuroko's Basketball, a basketball anime they like and watch together.
Throughout the convention, pictures were taken, videos were recorded, and purchases were made from various booths that sold comics, anime merchandise, art prints from various franchises, crafts, and more.
Later, in the evening, most everyone was still doing their own thing as everyone was actually having fun. For some of them, the cosplay contest was going to start soon, so they were getting ready.
Luke was getting ready with the guys, as a few of them were also in the contest.
Lincoln and Clyde were also entering. This contest was a big deal to a lot of the people entering it.
A lot of the convention attendees were soon taking their seats for the competition as everyone was getting ready to see the competitors show what they had.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome one and all to the Royal Metro Comic Con Cosplay Contest! Tonight, we have several competitors vying for amazing prizes and awards! So, without further ado, let's bring out our first contestant, Shane Loud as the Blue Beetle!" The host says.
Shane grinned, appearing on stage as he began his performance, using the song Just Wanna Rock by Lil Uzi Vert, showing off his costume and all its features.
"Oooh…" Most people say as they watch Shane move across the stage.
"The costume lights up!" One boy says. "So cool!"
The other guys watch this from backstage.
"He's awesome…" Garrett says.
Minutes later, Shane finished to wild cheers and applause. He soon appeared backstage, drinking some water.
Oliver Queen went up next, smiling as he began his "The Emerald Marksman Is Not A Loser" one-man performance, using the song I'm Not A Loser from the musical he'll be part of at school.
"We love you, Oliver Queen!" Some girls screamed. Dinah fainted from overexposure to her boyfriend's stage presence.
Luke watched this and just smiled. Zee watched from the audience, arms crossed, but also smiling at her stage partner.
Once Oliver Queen finished, cheers rang out as Oliver Queen bowed.
"Thank you! Thank you! You're a terrific audience!" He says with a smile.
Lincoln gets ready as Oliver Queen appears backstage.
"Dude, that was awesome!" Hal says to Oliver Queen.
"Well, thank you, esteemed leader." Oliver Queen says.
Lincoln soon goes onstage as the family cheered for him.
"What will you do for us?" One of the judges asked him.
Lincoln does a magic show, then a showcase of Ace Savvy's best moves.
Luna went to use the bathroom and heard crying. She heard it coming from underground.
"Ugh, this is Lana's type of thing…" Luna groaned as she jumped into the sewers.
"Little girl…" Luna says, looking around. There was some crying heard as a girl was stuck.
"Excuse me, are you okay?" Luna asked.
"I'm stuck…" She sniffed. Luna began to think of what to do.
"Sorry, Lincoln." Luna says to herself and takes her to the manor.
She cleaned the girl's wounds. It seemed she had been abused.
"What happened to your parents?" Luna asked.
"They dumped me into the sewer." The girl says.
Luna holds the girl and thinks. "I'm going to be your new caretaker until I can find a good family for you." Luna says. "Wait, what's your name, dudette?"
"Clover." She sniffed.
"What a nice name you have there…" Luna says.
The girl's stomach growled.
"Are you hungry? Um, you can stay in my room and I'll make us some dinner." Luna says as she nods.
Meanwhile, at the convention…
"I'm so winning. " Luke says.
"Um, Lincoln, can you watch Simon? I gotta go look for Luna." Sam says.
"Sure." Lincoln says as Sam hurries out.
"What's the matter with you? Can't you see that this comic con cosplay contest means a lot to us?" Kylie asked
"Yeah, cosplay, which is something I hate." Melony says. Cedric soon felt offended as he was in this contest.
"Why does my costume suck?" he asked.
"No, that's the problem. Did you guys forget I'm blind?" Melony asked as Cedric felt bad.
"Oh, I forgot, sorry about that." he says.
"I understand that it means a lot to you, but I'm not you." Melony says. She began to leave.
"Maybe we should do something. Poor girl has never cosplayed in her life." Eduardo says.
"I'm on in ten minutes!" Cedric finally spat out as he walked off to prepare.
"Good luck!" Garrett says.
"Thanks!" Cedric says.
"Cedric, go win…" Melony says, looking down.
Savannah was giggling at home working on her famous recipe and was planning.
"Viney's birthday is this Wednesday. I gotta make a good impression. This is the first time I'm throwing her a cake land party" she says
Savannah also remembered Viney was teaching Healing at Hexside most of that day since she was appointed as one of the new healing class professors.
Soon, Cedric took the stage. He appeared, dressed like Yuri Katsuki from Yuri On Ice. He smiled and began his performance of History Maker, the theme song from that anime.
Fans cheered for Cedric.
Luke crossed his arms and walked off. He was no longer interested in performing.
Meanwhile, Luna came to see Clover playing with her stuff.
"You like music?" Luna asked her.
Clover sniffed and sobbed hard. "Mommy and Daddy banned me from making music…" She cried.
"I'm so sorry…well, here, we love music. We never banned music from this house. You can look at my instruments if you like." Luna says reassuringly as Sam finds Luna.
"Lunes, there you are! Where have you been?" Sam asked.
"I found this kid in the sewers. She needed help. Her parents abused her." Luna says.
"Why didn't you come and find me?" Sam asked. "I could have helped, too."
"I had to go to the bathroom and that's when I heard the crying. So I went underground and found this little girl." Luna says.
"Wait, under-Luna, we need to get her to a hospital! She could be sick…" Sam says, calling her mom, who was a nurse at the local hospital.
"Hello, Royal Metro General Hospital, Amy Sharp speaking." Amy says. .
"Mom, it's me." Sam says.
"Samantha, honey, what happened?" Amy asked. "Are you and Simon okay?"
"Yeah, we're okay, but there's a girl here who was under the sewers and she could be sick." Sam says.
"I'm on my way with an ambulance, just stay there." Amy says and hangs up.
Amy soon came to pick Clover up as Clover was shaking, scared of dying.
"Don't worry, sweetie, you're going to be okay." Amy says as she gets Clover into the ambulance and drives off to the hospital.
With Luke, he sighed as he was the final act of the night.
"The best is definitely saved for last…" He tells himself.
"Good luck." Leni says.
"Thanks." Luke says.
Luke goes on as the whole arena is chanting his name. He smiled. Even if he didn't win, hearing his name chanted was worth it every time.
He smiled and began his Livin' La Vida Loca performance that he rehearsed with this costume. He worked on this for weeks, just trying to perfect it.
Fans cheered more as the Louds took pictures.
Soon, the judges were adding up the points. There were a lot of awards that would be given tonight. So some people would walk away with awards while some wouldn't.
There would be a Best In Show award, Best Overall Performance, Best Overall Craftsmanship, Best Overall in Novice and Journeyman, runner-ups in Novice and Journeyman, and 1st-3rd places in Novice and Journeyman.

The crowd cheered for the winners. Oliver Queen was smiling at his Best In Show award and Shane couldn't believe he did the best overall performance. Luke smiled, satisfied with the best overall award in his cosplay division. Garth was still shocked by his award. He didn't expect to win anything, yet he did.
"Best Overall Craftsmanship…" Barry says. "Well, I did work hard on this costume…"
After the convention, Lucy was planning a party for Charity to celebrate her anniversary of being the governor of Michigan. But Lucy wasn't aware that Charity was going to be doing some traveling around the state a few days after Hal's pageant, as it was going to be like a business trip of sorts.
"So, I can trust you kids to behave for your father while I'm gone on my trip in a few days, right?" Charity asked the kids. They all nodded.
"But I will be back in time for the play. I made a promise that I wouldn't miss it." Charity says with a smile. "I'll be leaving on the morning of the 1st and will be back on the 6th."
Angry Luigi sets up a victory party for Atticus as Alem tuber gets annoyed by this.
Clover was at the hospital, where Amy and a few doctors were taking care of Clover.
She was really sick. Luna and Sam exchanged worried looks, wondering if she would pull through.
With the boys, they were at Smoothie Palace, celebrating the awards they won at the convention.
"To us!" Shane said, proposing a toast.
"To us!" The rest of the boys say as they "clinked" their smoothie cups and drank their smoothies, smiling and enjoying each other's company.
