After years of being away from Inkopolis Plaza, an inkling brings a friend with him to visit the Plaza one last time before it's closed down for good.

Tyler and Sammy planned to visit Inkopolis but got set on a mission when Capn' Cuttlefish sent an SOS. Meanwhile, Owen finds herself in a strange world similar to the Square, with Pearl as a drone. As for Elliott/Prince Octavius, he finds himself in cyberspace that's connected to where Owen is. Both Octolings will encounter familiar faces and enemies as they journey onward.

Neo Agent 3, Tres, finds himself ruthlessly teased by his co-workers after they learned about his very special night with his girlfriend, Shiver. Hilarity ensues as he's forced to regale to them the tender moments leading up to his first roll in the hay.

Under the waves, unbeknownst to a new, Mollusc Era world, lays the rubble of a long-dead species. A civilization reduced to myth and mystery, wiped from history by time. Unfortunately, time was all but thorough. One has awoken to this new age, confused and scared of what has grown in the absence of their species. Could he find his way in this new world? Pearl is awoken by a strange piano melody in the middle of the night. Nobody could have anticipated the knock-on effects this late rendezvous would have for Off the Hook's future. Rated 'T' primarily for characters in scant dress.

Tartar 7 was a prototype for the Commander Tartar we all know and love. Sadly, Tartar 8 had died in the destruction of NILS, but the prototype version did not. Join Deep Cut and the NSS as they flounder about Splatsville unraveling the mystery of this bizarre ritual and why almost every octoling in existence is so secretive about it.

Captain 3 and agent 8 run into a young nameless octoling boy, who just escaped from a strict leader in Octo Canyon. They take him in and give him a name: Quartz. They feel like family, but the two agents soon learn about the danger they'll have to face in order to keep Quartz safe.
