Chapter 8: Ready For An Excursion Day?!
Kyoka
There's nothing wrong with exchanging numbers with an old classmate and friend. Denki spends hours upon hours on the weekend with Mineta doing who knows what with a mix of fangirls and women in the Hero circuit they both know are single. She's always given him the benefit of the doubt, trusted he's done nothing more with them besides get drinks and discuss their latest assignments/projects.
And besides all that, he at least schedules one weekend out of month to visit with their old sensei and mentors to get continued advice on how to keep growing and improving as a Hero himself.
So there's nothing wrong with her doing the same when it comes to Izuku Midoriya.
That's what she tells herself as she rolls into her blankets.
This is perfectly platonic! Clearly Okinawa is just a hotspot for so many of her former U.A. peers to visit for vacation or simply a break from the mainland.
'Even if it's Izuku Midoriya? The same guy who you've multiple wet dreams about?' Her thoughts race with questions and her cheeks burn. Like a voyeuristic pervert, she'd already listened at least twice to his after-hour relations with Momo and Ochako, craved to be touched and kissed in the same way both women seem to have gotten from him.
Denki's never been that passionate with her, even with the multiple hints she's dropped on just how to make her get that perfect orgasm.
"Stop! No, get out of my thoughts!" She hisses into the quiet of her room.
She pulls her blankets over her head pushing the memory away, cheeks still hot recalling what she knows.
No, time to put these silly fantasies and ideas to rest! She came to Okinawa to focus on her music and to hopefully get a bit of her Hero work once she returns back to the mainland if she's lucky.
Not for hook-ups.
She buries herself back into her blankets to shoo away the thoughts, ignores the heat pouring into her cheeks.
'It's fine. Stop thinking about this.' Kyoka tells herself, clicks off her lamping bathing her in the darkness of the night. Still, her mind refuses to turn off, tossing and turning in rhythm with her pounding heart.
Her dreams don't bother with pretending, visions of Izuku, not Denki here between her legs, thrusting into her until her toes curl in pure delight.
A milky dawn comes hours later, sphere of red, orange, and gold spilling across the horizon. It takes her a minute tumbling out of a tangle of pillows, linen, and sweat to make it to the bathroom.
Dark bags sit under her eyes like balloons, skin matching the yellows and reddish grays of the approaching sunrise. Her fingers shuffle in a half-daze to her medicine bag, dryly swallowing down two Tylenol with some water.
'Ugh, I have got to get a hold of myself.' Kyoka huffs, plopping back into her bed to take in the time.
6:32 AM.
Breakfast at Lotus Breeze is from 6:00-10:00 AM. Food, maybe if she gets some in her system her stomach and head won't continue to feel like they're actively revolting against her.
So she smooths down violet locks in utter disarray, rubs her head and stomach to ease the swirls of nausea that feel akin to a brewing tornado or storm, pushes everything from her mind.
She straps on her favorite dark blue sundress and walks into cool morning air.
"So, what's on the agenda for today? Hiking? Beach day? Movie day? Massages?" A chipper voice asks.
Kyoka stiffens. 'Ochako?'
"We're going to do snorkeling followed by kayaking Uraraka! Though the rental place doesn't open until 10:00 am." Momo huffs back.
Ochako's giggle fills the air. "Oh, that's fine. But hey, can we invite Tsuyu and even Mina?! I don't think Tsuyu's gotten a chance to do even one activity here outside of work since coming to Okinawa. Plus, I think we'll get a discount if we can get a group of at least 6 people."
'Must be nice.' Kyoka sighs, moving to join the breakfast line hopefully out of their sight. She doubts she'll be able to hide or fight down a blush knowing about the activities they've done with Izuku outside this room...
But maybe it's good or bad luck on her side feeling a hand tap her shoulder, twisting back to see familiar green eyes, a warm freckled face.
"Ah, so you're an early bird too, huh?" Izuku grins.
Kyoka dryly laughs, shrugs. "I am when sleep evades me for the most part."
"I know the feeling." He mutters, not low enough for her not to catch, tips of her ears pinkening.
He points back in the direction of Ochako and Momo now watching them, smiling and waving as well. Her chest knots, so much for trying to hide out of sight.
"Hey, you don't have a gig tonight; do you?" Izuku asks as they each pick up a plate.
Kyoka shakes her head slowly and the knots in her chest grow even tighter if possible.
Because verdant eyes brighten.
"Oh, if you're free, then would you care to join us on a trip out to the seas?"
Mina & Nejire- Yoashi Beach
"I don't see how this is supposed to help us really?" Mina grumbles between yawns.
What happened to their plans for sleeping in until noon? There's no way she's going to impress anybody with her current state of bed hair and wrinkled clothes. Nejire hushes her, points for her to finish her smoothie before gesturing with her head towards the ocean.
The others will be here shortly.
"Oh, come on, don't be such a grouch! Don't forget you're the one who told me Midoriya's planning a trip out onto the waves today, you even got a text invite and confirmation from Uraraka that they'll head be heading here later this morning! They should be here any minute! This is the day that ensures your paths cross one way or another!" Nejire chimes out giddily.
Mina blinks slowly, takes a long sip of her pineapple-mango concoction. "...And? Why is that so important? He's on vacation too so that isn't too much of a surprise."
She isn't catching Izuku alone and it isn't like he'll be in the mood to talk business or anything hero related right now.
Maybe...
Nejire deflates at her tone, brushes a hand through her sapphire locks. "This is the perfect chance to join everyone on their trips around the place potentially! I don't think you've even had a full conversation with Midoriya since arriving here to the islands!"
Mina pouts out her cheeks, nods to Nejire's hands. "Yes, unlike some people who went for a full-on grope of him to re-introduce yourself after all these years."
Nejire's face burns pink, shrugging lightheartedly. "Well...I don't think he minded it really! Besides, I'm supposed to eventually show all of you the best secret spots of Okinawa's islands that even the tourists don't know about! It will be beneficial to Midoriya too to not have the paparazzi hounding him for photos or interviews."
"Whatever, I'm going to sunbathe and power nap until you see something." Mina grumbles, tipping her sun hat over her eyes.
A buzz fills the air minutes or maybe hours later, dazedly shaken awake by a hand to her shoulder.
"Look! That's them, isn't it?!" Nejire beams.
Mina sits forward, indeed sees familiar green-black hair upon one of the rental boats, muscles coming into full view.
Momo and Ochako look their way before waving, grins as bright as the weather.
"Hurry up and get out here!" Ochako calls out her. Asui appears at her side, flicks her tongue out as if prepared to forcibly drag her out into the sea should she not get a move on.
The last person who gazes her way is Izuku, gesturing with his head to join them. "Do you need help getting here or are you going to use your acid quirk?"
She swallows, finds her voice. "...Don't worry, I'll swim over."
Her stomach twists at her blatant ogling, Izuku Midoriya has truly grown into an attractive man.
And surrounding him is a mix of their prettiest mutual friends in bikinis and swimwear as colorful as the surrounding flora of the islands.
Absently, her gaze falls to her simple fuchsia pink bikini top and shorts. Showing off her skin alone isn't going to be enough to sway Midoriya's attention. Besides, he isn't the type to be swayed by a woman's curves.
'Ugh, still, how am I supposed to compete?!'
Nejire nudges her as Mina deflates just slightly. "Well, don't chicken out now!"
"Wait! What about you?" She questions as she gets to a standing position. Nejire makes no move to follow her out into the waters, instead lays out into her vacated beach chair.
"It's like you said, I got to touch him already in a sense. It's your turn now; stop dawdling and get out there already missy!"
Mina huffs, pulls herself from her grip slowly. "Yeah, Yeah, I'm going! Just let me just get my bearings first!"
Brown-white crackles under her feet, hot in the parts where the waves don't crash and she nearly thinks they could blister from this heat until they hit the coolness of the water, swimming out into the deeper patches of blues and greens catching the tail end of a conversation.
"-What, that's crazy Denki can be so possessive when he's the one flirting with all those girls!" Ochako huffs.
Kyoka waves up an earlobe frantically at her harsh tone.
Despite his faults, Denki until recently has truly been the only guy to make her heart flutter and chest warm in delight.
"Ah, it's honestly not a big deal! I shouldn't have said anything!"
Momo shakes her head, lifts up her cocktail. "He spends too much with Mineta is the problem. He hasn't changed much at all since graduation from what I've heard. I'm surprised any Pro-Hero is willing to work with him still knowing his lecherous habits particularly around his female coworkers."
Asui scoffs gently. "He uses the U.A. name, how his quirk played a role in defeating the League of Villains. Which is true, though that was years ago now, it doesn't hold as much glamour and weight now."
She hums into her strawberry sake at a new thought, turns her attention back to Kyoka. "Have you told Denki any of your concerns?"
Kyoka shrugs half-heartedly. "No! What would I even say? I know he says my jealously is unfounded whenever he does partner assignments with other women, but it's hard not to think that way when he wants me to focus more on my music career than my Hero one."
Even worse to have these thoughts of lust towards another man.
"Have you been on any hero assignments with him recently? That would at least help him see you in action." Izuku suggests.
Kyoka blinks, considers when the last time she and Denki did a Hero case together.
'Has it really been years?'
"I second Midoriya's idea!" Mina exclaims as she hops aboard, sends a wink his way.
"Mina, you made it!" Ochako cheers, rises from her seat to greet her. Mina grins in return, breathes in the scent of lavender and sea salt on her while catching just the faintest whiffs of sandalwood coming off of both her and Momo.
A masculine scent.
"I can smell you've been busy; sex isn't easy to completely wash away." Mina coos in her ear, beams at the flush that rises across her cheeks. The subject of Izuku Midoriya never fails to make her face warm no matter how many years pass.
"I'll give you details later." Ochako mutters, puts a drink into her hands before she can tease her further.
She plops down opposite of Midoriya, knots in her stomach exploding as his gaze skirts her figure. Their knees knock together as they slide over waves, eyes shimmering in delight.
"Like it? Maybe I should've gone for a more acid-themed one that can melt if need be." Mina snickers as Izuku coughs and glances away.
"Isn't Corrosivity working on a product like that? I know a team of scientists trying to make suitable hero gear for quirks similar to your acid based one that can even bind to criminals to keep them from escaping."
Mina leans forward, gives him a near perfect view of her breasts, the hardening of her pink nipples exposed to all this cold.
"Oh? Do tell!"
Izuku laughs nervously, tries and fails to keep his eyes on her bemused grin.
Mina nearly reaches out a hand to let him touch her instead of simply looking, smile evaporating seeing a lone figure out in the swirl of waves.
She jumps to her feet so abruptly the others turn to her alarm. "Hey, you guys see that too, right? Does she need our help?"
Their eyes follow hers out to the water, but Izuku is the first to leap out into the sea.
A flash of long burnt orange hair moves about the water like a strewn ribbon before it slips below into the deep blue.
Itsuka-Yoashi Cape & Beach
'These are some good waves.'
She breathes in the scent of salt and sand, fans out her body against a tide of sea-green waters, foamy ripples crashing against her back and neck.
Not many people come out to Yoashi Cape at this time of day or year.
And maybe she is pushing her body a bit harder than necessary in order to forget about everything she's left behind, but there's no way she can stay just cooped up in her hotel room every single day.
'I wonder if any of my former mentees would want to take up surfing?'
Most of them only took her classes as a way for self-defense. Groups that consisted of mostly quirk-less people, the elderly, little kiddies.
All the most vulnerable populations.
Once she taught them what they needed to survive, they would happily be on their way.
And now business is especially slow when crime is at record lows across every region of Japan and Asia in general...
She buries the thoughts before it can entangle fully into her mind.
No, no thinking about the dojo right now.
Or the missed calls from Mitsuyo.
Itsuka clicks her tongue, closes her eyes briefly picturing Ryushin Kojo-Dan in a state of decay upon her return, dark green vines curling through wood and glass, silver webs glistening through cracked boards in the ceiling.
'Ugh, what is wrong with me?! I can't even relax my mind for 5 minutes!'
Maybe she's getting too much sun, all of it's going to her head.
Teal eyes open once more, gaze turning back to land.
She's farther out than usual, than she expected or even wanted to be.
"Hmm guess I should call it a day; get a nap in."
The current pulls her back as soon as she starts to make an attempt to paddle forward, forces her into the darker, choppier parts of the ocean.
Rip tides.
And their speed is faster than what she's used to compared to the tinier beaches near Musutafu and even the ones back at home in the Chiba prefecture.
These ones could pull her down.
Her surfboard slips out of her grip with another powerful wave, briefly pulls her underwater.
'Should I just use my hands as a paddle? No, that could wear me down too fast. I need to find a way to get parallel to the current.'
She swims back up, gathers air and concentrates not to fight and get further swept out.
The waves start to feel more like slashes to her skin, rocks scratching at her legs as thicker patches of seaweed try to bog her down.
'It's like the waves want to trap me here!' Itsuka grunts.
Well, not today.
Just as she gets out of the main current's rush do arms coil around her waist, lift her up out of the water completely.
Prickles of goosebumps erupt across her skin suddenly now out of the cold waters into the sun directly on her, wincing and covering her eyes. Forest green eyes look her up and down and new coils form as they skim her chest and nether regions.
A wetsuit is nothing like a bikini, though a familiar heat runs across her that makes her feel utterly nude.
"Midoriya?" Itsuka manages.
He nods. "The main lifeguard is busy attending to a child closer to shore that may have swallowed too much salt water. I was about to go scuba diving with the others when I saw you."
"The others?" Itsuka repeats, peers behind him to see Momo has already created multiple towels and heating pads while Ochako clears a path for them back to land.
"Ah. Well, this is...embarrassing." Itsuka muses at the display, nearly finds herself burrowing into his chest before realizing the insanity of trying such a thing.
She nearly yelps feeling all of Izuku push up against her.
Muscles and below.
The heat in her chest slithers down to her stomach.
There's a flash in his eyes she can't fully read or understand, but it reminds her of Mitsuyo.
Of lust; wanting.
He could take her here, in front of both tourists and guests and she isn't sure she would really mind at all...
His fingers dip against the side of her wetsuit, skims and kneads the side of her breasts until the hardness of her nipples are visible through the suit.
And daringly, her fingers brush at his shorts just to see if all these rumors are true; real. Somehow, Izuku squeezes her closer, breath fanning her lips.
"We have an audience don't forget." Izuku chuckles, abruptly leans away so fast that this whole moment feels like a dream.
She bites her lip to quiet a moan, rubs her legs together.
'I didn't pass out; I feel very much awake."
"Thank you. Err, for saving me even though I was basically out of the rip tide." Itsuka clarifies, breaks whatever this spell is between them.
'Heatstroke perhaps.' Though she doesn't feel all that dizzy or nauseated.
Izuku grins.
"Anytime. You're staying at The Lotus Breeze Hotel too, right? I'll check on you this evening to make sure you're truly okay."
It isn't just because of the earlier waves or even the riptide that her heartbeat picks up in speed.
She could say she's fine, that worrying about her is unnecessary.
But her lips work first.
"Good. I'll see you later."
Izuku & Tsuyu
"I should take days off more often." She murmurs as she watches the others excitedly circle a small patch of coral reef they've come across.
No alarms buzzing in her ears, no urgent emails from Captain Shimura to check on where she needs to do her next patrols.
"Join us?" Ochako questions, lifts up a starfish as if that will entice her.
Asui shakes her head, mouths in a minute.
She flicks her tongue out to grab another can of lemonade, needs something to offset this alcohol sinking into her like stones. Warmth pools at the bottom of her stomach, at least is keeping her from completely freezing up.
"That another one of your tongue tricks?" Izuku asks behind her and her muscles tighten in surprise at having an audience.
Asui half turns back to him, shrugs. "Perhaps. I thought you would be out there with the others. The novelty of scuba diving around these parts has worn off for me with how many times I've explored the marine lives underwater domains."
Izuku nods. "During the early days of Valiant, we did water-based missions and drills in order for everyone to know how to handle assignments nearby any body of water and CPR."
Asui hums, steps closer. "I never did get to show you my so-called tongue tricks or see how good your skills are in and outside water."
Izuku arches a brow at the edge of challenge to her tone.
"Is that right?" He laughs gently.
Asui draws near enough for their breaths to tangle, presses close to him.
"I'll show you." She whispers just as their lips lock, tugs him backwards into darkness of the ship's bathroom. Her shoulder bangs against what must be the towel rack, laugh covered by Izuku's kiss.
"That's going to probably leave a bruise on me later." Asui muses, shifting them hopefully away from any more pointy objects.
"We might not have enough time for this." Izuku grunts, both hearing the splashes slowing down outside.
One of the girls may come aboard soon enough wondering where they've gone.
"Don't be so sure. And anyways, I promised Ochako I would show you all the things I could do with my tongue just like I did for her and Momo." Asui grins, thumbs at pre-cum leaking from the tip of his cock at that image, draws him in slowly inch by inch.
Skin slaps together in the tight space, Izuku twisting her hair when her teeth nibble at his head.
"Sorry. Sorry." He hisses, loosening his hold.
Asui shakes her head just as they hear Momo's voice.
"-I'm going to grab a water and then I'll be right back in!"
Izuku swallows down a curse, feels his release coming close when Asui briefly releases his member with a low pop.
"Stay quiet." She whispers and he draws her into another, tastes himself on her while his fingers thread beneath her top and shorts.
Asui draws back down on him, takes him in fully into the warm cavern of her mouth until he thrusts into her without care, groans as he fills her to the brim.
Itsuka & Izuku
"You know, you didn't have to do this." Itsuka teases.
Not that she's truly complaining as Izuku stretches her out, massages muscles she's long forgotten she has.
"I don't hear you saying to stop." Izuku chuckles as he unsnaps her bra, draws her left nipple into his mouth until she's arching into him.
Izuku's tongue works magic in ways that make her toes curl.
Whatever bruises and embarrassment she felt earlier from her water debacle vanishes under his touch.
Her thoughts slice between Mitsuyo, the dojo and this man above her who makes her writhe.
She sits up before his fingers can pull her panties down.
"Wait, wait. Can we get 5 minutes to catch our breaths?" Itsuka asks, sitting up.
Izuku sits up from her, presses light kisses to her knuckles.
"Hold on, I'll get us some sparkling water or juice." Itsuka promises as she shifts quickly into shorts and top, needs to gather her thoughts on a walk.
The sun is setting into a splash of vibrant pinks and reds across the sky as she heads for Stargaze's Bar, two waiters shuffling stacks of plates and cups to prepare for the dinner rush.
"Have you heard Japan's number 1 Pro-Hero is a guest here?" The first guy asks.
"You mean Izuku Midoriya? Yeah, I heard Akiyama he's been here a few weeks now."
Itsuka steps back into shadow as the man's grin morphs into a smirk.
"Nagata, you always think too small. I mean have you heard about all the chicks he's been seen with?"
Nagata shrugs. "Those are just rumors Tachikawa."
Tachikawa arches a brow, smirks in a way that makes Itsuka's skin crawl.
"Rumors, huh? Well, interested in seeing if these so-called rumors can earn you a quick buck?"
