Star and Danny learned the value of Christmas Time many years before, Even though the season often plays "All I Want for Christmas is You." Even Sam hates that song. She loves all that there is about Christmas. Star has a parody of the song with the line "I want for Christmas is no Marah Carrey."

They have children now and are still young enough that everything remotely special is the most amazing thing in the world. Sometimes it was a little much to see them act as if they would never see "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas" again. Though Danny was happy that his kids would always at least like Christmas.

Danny and Star have a lot more bitter memories about the jolliest time of the year. Star had many lonely Christmases but she enjoyed the ones with the Allens and Wests a whole lot more than the lonely ones she had known in her own household as a child. Danny on the other hand had more horrific Christmases. With him as a small baby getting peed on by the Ghost Writer taking him to task for being a Scrooge and Danny and his enemies helping take down Ghost Writer.

Danny had many good Christmases with Star and she made the holiday season for him/ Just waking up to her singing White Christmas brought a smile to his face. Christmas was truly the best time of year. Everyone seems a bit kinder and there are a million and one sales and giveaways in the Christmas season.

Their kids Ella and Alex woke them up by jumping on the bed. "Mommy and Daddy! Wake up it is Christmas!"

Star said "Kids we are getting up. Please stop jumping or you are going to end up like the little monkeys who jumped on the bed."

"Okay, Mommy!"

They all went down and the unwrapping was chaos. With all the wrapping paper being picked up and everyone thanking everyone was almost too much. It was perfect though. It was a very fitting Christmas and the continual birth of the new age. From the birth of the Savior (I know he was born closest to May and it was combined with Yule.) to the modern day. All was well and all wasn't calm. That is what you get with kids.
