Hey, this is Dani. I have a disclaimer that this story talks about Christianity because it is an important part of Irish culture. I am a Christian and I want to say this. People in general and especially Christians should love and respect people for who they are. Even if you disagree with how they are acting or their choices, God and Jesus love everyone and want to help lead us gently with a shepherd's rod like how a shepherd leads sheep to safety and comfort.

Plus Jesus dined with a tax collector (a big sinning no-no back in the day.). Also, he said that disabled people are not created by their parent's sins, they just happen and they can show us the glory of God through their lives. As an Autistic person that sounds pretty cool to me. With Christians, you can find a few that blame the parents for causing disabilities or blame people for not doing enough for God and that is why their life sucks. The Bible doesn't say that, but people can be irrational. Anyway I am saying this and I love all of you guys and I hope you have God's favor.

I post all of my fanfiction on three accounts. One is Archiveofourown under the username FangirlWriter1!, under the username DaniMason, and on Wattpad under the name FangirlWriter. Star and Danny got dressed in their matching green cardigans. It was a beautiful Sunday day. It was an overcast day, but there is something so beautiful about overcast days. Danny and Star decided for the kicks to go to church to celebrate Irish culture. They did enjoy the feeling of safety in the church. There was something so safe and warm in that church that would supposedly hate Danny on sight for being a half-ghost. Danny thought it was very odd, but Danny wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Plus Christianity did have good morals overall even if you don't believe in a higher being. Danny and Star walk out of the service, and when they saw green Bibles being sold, they impulsively bought one. It was an old and new testament Bible. Both of them had a note tucked inside saying that this was the living book and it would confront your flaws, but lovingly telling you through God that you are worthy and do not fear. It also said a fun trivia fact: "Did you know that the Bible says "Do not fear" 365 times? One for every day of the year!"

That note did speak to Danny and Star. In the sense that they scoffed at the idea of not fearing the world. Their loved ones were proof that you should fear the world. You should be scared.

Anyway, the day ended on a good note with a traditional Irish dish that Danny and Star cooked and ate together. They may not have many family members that were good to them, and they could spend holidays with them, but they had each other, and that was enough for them at the moment.
