Rental Girlfriend: The Near Future (Short Story) Part 1

Introduction:

With a final typed Word on her Laptop, Chizuru exhaled and then considered just erasing the whole forty something pages of her Proposed Idea for a Television Show. Her hand hovered over the delete function on her Keyboard, ready and willing to do just that. Erase it. She did not like how the story portrayed Kazuya. "Don't erase it. I think it is really good." Kazuya said from behind her. He had been there from the beginning and had made some suggestions while she wrote or rather typed. Leaning back against him, she closed her eyes and sighed. Feeling his reassuring arms around her, she placed the back of her head against the top of his left shoulder and could not help but smile. She was happy. Happier then she ever could hope to be and she did not want anything to threaten that.

"I do not like how it makes you look." Chizuru said and still wanted to erase it. She had kept it as close to how it had happened from the beginning. How he how had rented her because he had been dumped and felt lonely. Every detail, including where the two had blundered and she met his Grandmother. Which steamrolled to where they had to pretend for almost a year. Where he had to rent her just to keep up appearances. Where from the beginning she could have easily found a solution to that problem, but kept purposely failing to do so. All because she had fallen for him.

"Oh come on. That might be the selling point." Kazuya smiled. "It does have a very happy ending. One where I got the girl that I love and she loves me right?" He asked her and she smiled at him. Turning her head slightly. Placing her left hand on his cheek and turned his head towards her. Lightly kissing him.

"Of course that is about the only part of this that I really like." Chizuru kissed him again and then returned to leaning back against him. She never realized how wonderful it was to have someone special in her life. Never realizing just how lonely she had been. Not until she became his real Girlfriend and she started spending almost every moment with him. Sleeping in the same bed and do other things that involved them both being naked. Along with being extremely physical. That was another thing that she found that she had been missing. The intimacy along with having someone that loved her as much as he did.

"Though you could maybe get rid of all the times that I...I...you know." Kazuya suggested with a small smile and Chizuru giggled.

"The times that involved tissues and a small amount of lotion in your hand." Chizuru giggled again as he blushed, nodding. "No way. That is way too funny to take out. I hope though you do not need to do that anymore. Now that you have someone that is more then willing to have actual sex with you." She stated and Kazuya shook his head, blushing even more. With a flourish with her hand, she saved the story and then Emailed it to the Director. With that done, she closed her eyes. She then pushed herself even further back against him and took his right hand in hers. Holding it tightly. She still had no idea how she could love someone so much as she did him. It amazed her. Almost wishing she had gotten together with him way before she did. Perhaps right after he jumped into the Ocean to save her, since right after was when she started to feel something for him. But her stupid stubbornness to stick to her personal rules and strategy had delayed her from even considering becoming involved with Kazuya for real.

"Don't fall asleep." Kazuya whispered into her right ear and Chizuru inhaled softly.

"Why not? I could so easily right now." Chizuru whispered back and Kazuya chuckled.

"We have that double date with Kuri and Ruka. Remember. After all it was your bright idea for us to get them together." Kazuya said and Chizuru winced slightly. It took a lot of ground work to get first Kuri to change his whole behavior. Then all it took was for her and Kazuya to convince Ruka to give Kuri another chance. Tonight was Ruka and Kuri's second Real Date and it had been decided that it would be best that she and Kazuya go along to moderate to make sure Kuri did not do anything stupid. So far it was working out and according to Ruka the number had risen for Kuri up to 64. Which gave the girl some hope now that Kazuya was no longer available.

"I felt bad for basically swooping in and taking you away from her. She liked you a lot and...well I just felt bad." Chizuru said with actually no real regrets. Though she still had no intention of getting up yet. She felt too comfortable right where she was and wanted a few more moments of just being held by Kazuya.

"I did too. That is why I made sure that Kuri remembers not to...well lets just say not put on the front that he is not what he really is." Kazuya remarked remembering back to when they had double dated with Kuri and Ruka. When Ruka had been rented by Kuri. Not knowing about Ruka yet, Kazuya inquired on how Kuri could be dating someone like Ruka and of course Kuri put on that he was Manly. That him being so Manly that of course Ruka was into him. In truth Ruka could not stand how Kuri acted. So to get her possibly interested in the weirdo, Kazuya had to help his friend completely change how he interacted not only with Ruka but everyone else. Not an easy task. "So should we get ready?" He asked and she shook her head.

"We have time and I am quite content on remaining like this until we absolutely have to get ready." Chizuru replied, making sure that he kept his arms around her waist and gave his right hand a gentle squeeze. This proved her point completely. She needed a Real Boyfriend in her life. For one she no longer felt lonely and she had someone she could count on to be there for her when she needed him in moments where she could just relax. Sighing with a small smile, she continued to enjoy just sitting there with him. After another hour or so, she reluctantly let go of his hand and began to get up. Then an idea came to her. "I am going to take a Shower. I do not suppose that you would want to join me?" She asked him with a glint in her eye, noticing his large broad smile. He quickly followed her into the Bathroom, scooping up a condom on his way.

The Double Date:

Shun Kuribayashi or what he preferred to be called Kuri. Walked towards Kazuya and Chizuru's Apartment Building. Looking up at the Two Apartments, he laughed finding it hilarious and of course he was envious. He had asked Chizuru once if she could ever fall for one of her Clients. Fully suspecting that she had already and it was his Friend Kazuya. It did not take a genius to notice how the two interacted or how much the two cared about each other. Though the bright side of this whole situation was that Kazuya and Chizuru were able to convince Ruka to give him one more chance. A chance he was not about to let slip through his fingers. That meant he would do everything Kazuya or Chizuru suggested for him to do. "So how long have you been here waiting?" Ruka asked as she neared him and he smiled over at her.

"Just got here." Kuri gestured up at the two Apartments. "They should be out in a few minutes. That is if they are not..." He did not continue not wanting to offend Ruka, but the shorter girl laughed.

"If they are not doing the wild thing. Is that what you were going to say?" Ruka asked and he blushed. She could not help but like that. Before when he had rented her to impress Kazuya, he had acted like such a jackass. Though most of those that rented her acted about the same way. Superficial, egotistical morons that only wanted her to act like some dimwitted ditz that pandered to them. Mostly to impress others. So none of them ranked or caused her Blood Pressure to rise much more then that of 60. It did rise to 64 when Kuri apologized about acting the way he did. Causing her to apologize for outing him in front of Kazuya. She did feel bad about that since it did embarrass him so badly. Now it was their second official date and she did find herself sort of liking him. He was not Kazuya though, but she had to come to the realization that the one that had risen her BP to above 90 was now unavailable. So if Kuri can at least get it up to 80 she might consider something long term with him. "Lets go get them going. Otherwise we might be here a good hour waiting on them." She began to walk towards the steps and Kuri joined her.

Inside Chizuru's Apartment, the two came out of the Bathroom. Both were smiling at each other as they put on their clothes. "We definitely have to do that again real soon." She said pulling on her Shirt. She had thoroughly enjoyed their session in the Bathroom. Even though it did take almost an hour and by the end the water had chilled to a very uncomfortable temperature. Sex was another thing that she found that she needed from him. Something that she definitely was missing in her life. Though to her and she knew from him it was not just Sex it was they made love.

"Sounds good to me." Kazuya said back pulling on his own Shirt and began searching the floor for his Socks. Not being able to locate one of them, he headed to the far Corner where there was a Laundry Basket with some of his Clothes that he kept there and Chizuru had the same type of Basket with her Clothes in his Apartment. So neither had to return to their respective Apartments for clean clothes. Taking out a pair of Socks, he looked over at her and considered asking her the burning question he wanted to ask her. But decided to wait until later. He was unsure if she was ready for that step yet. The step where it involved a certain piece of Jewelry and them becoming more then just Boyfriend and Girlfriend. The small item even now was in his wallet, waiting for him to have the gumption to ask her.

Outside they found Kuri and Ruka waiting impatiently on the Front Balcony. "Sorry about being a little late." Kazuya said and both shrugged as if it was expected. "So Kuri what are we doing this time?" He asked his friend and Kuri smiled broadly.

"I thought I would keep it simple. How does Roller Skating Sound?" Kuri asked, with him and Ruka in the lead. They began to walk towards the Train Station. In route Ruka reached over and took Kuri's hand in hers and he almost tripped. Chizuru leaned closer to Kazuya as she held his hand in hers with their fingers intertwined. Unlike when it was for show months ago. When he paid her to be his fake Girlfriend. Now it meant something and it was real.

"That is a good sign." Chizuru whispered to him and Kazuya smiled with delight.

At the Indoor Skating Rink, Chizuru skated around Kazuya giggling as he looked up at her from the floor. He was laughing as well. "Never said I was any good at this." He said as he stood, wobbling and unsure if he will be able to remain standing. She held out her hand to him and he lightly took it. If he fell again he did not want to accidentally pull her down with him. She gripped his hand tightly in hers.

"Just keep your feet together and I will pull you along." Chizuru suggested and began to skate slowly, pulling him with her. She headed to the nearby rest area and after he sat down she sat down across his lap and put her left arm across his shoulders. Giving a small peck on the lips and making it clear she had no intention of getting off his lap anytime soon. She had to admit even though she did go on Dates with others while she was a Rental. It was not the same as going out with a Real Boyfriend. Where she could let her guard down and be herself. He glanced over towards the rink and gestured with his head. She looked and then smiled, as they watched Ruka and Kuri skate around holding hands. She then gazed at Kazuya fondly. She had almost lost him to Ruka. Thinking back, she bit her bottom lip and inhaled softly.

Two months ago, it had been just a normal Saturday. She had just returned from one of her Booked Dates with a Client and now planned on simply relaxing. The confrontation with Mami happened only two days ago and it was still fresh in her mind on what Kazuya had originally said. That he wanted her. Then recanted just as quickly when she asked what he meant by that. Of course she knew what he meant but her normal stupid defensive personality did not let her say what she wanted to say. That she wanted him as well. Then there was Sumi Sakursawa. Who still was so over the Moon about Kazuya that she wanted to Date kazuya for Real. Believing as her Real Boyfriend would help her overcome her shyness. That irritated Chizuru. Another Girl besides Ruka had discovered just how great Kazuya was. With a heavy sigh she picked up her Cell Phone, to check her Bookings for the next week and to her dismay. Kazuya had cancelled his Wednesday Scheduled Booking, checking further on she noticed he had cancelled all his Wednesdays. That bothered her. Wanting to know why, she decided to break her own Rules once again. But this time instead of asking for a Balcony Rendezvous she stepped out of her Apartment and went to his. Knocking, she firmed her resolve and when the door opened she simply strode inside. Thrusting her Phone Screen at him showing where he had cancelled their upcoming Future Dates. "Why did you cancel our Dates?" She demanded sternly and he winced.

"I have to face reality and stop renting you. Stop having this delusion that...never mind. I just need to stop Renting you. Then maybe try to have something with Ruka...or maybe Sumi since she texted me that she wants to go on a Real Date with me." Kazuya said softly, not really looking at her. She could see some moisture forming in his eyes. His heart was breaking and he just wanted her to leave before he really started to cry uncontrollably. She glared at him angrily. That was the moment she decided that she was not about to let him leave her. Go off and be with Ruka or Sumi. She stabbed him in the chest with her right index finger.

"I already know about what you think is a delusion! That you have fallen in love with me! That you lied to me when I asked you if you have fallen in love with me! I know you lied! Do you think I am stupid or something? Get this through that idiotic head of yours...you are not running off to be with Ruka or Sumi...I won't let you!" Chizuru continued poking him in the chest with her finger and he stared at her in shock and a bit of fear. He did not like being on the receiving end of her anger. She had proved on a couple of occasions that she could easily kick his ass without any problems. Seeing that he did not understand, she stopped poking him and grabbed his shirt front with her right hand. "You are not the only one that fell, by the way. I did too." He swallowed heavily.

"I...I...what?" Kazuya stuttered out and Chizuru chuckled, then smiled wickedly.

"You are such an adorable idiot." Chizuru whispered and then leaned closer, tilting her head to the right. She kissed him and he gasped audibly. Parting slightly. "Kazuya...do you love me?" She asked him and he nodded vigorously.

"Yes Mizuhara...Chizuru...I of course...I love you." Kazuya whispered back surprised that he actually said it. Though he really did not have anything to lose. He was going to no longer rent her anyhow. She smiled again and as she leaned in closer.

"Good...because I have fallen in love with you too." Chizuru kissed him and she felt him put his arms around her. She pressed herself against him. They continued to kiss for several moments and when done she held out her Cell Phone in front of him. Opening her Rental Girlfriend Agency Account, she pressed the QUIT option. Letting him see that she had just quit being a Rental Girlfriend to be a Real One to him.

Returning to the present from her musing, Chizuru felt tears stream down her cheeks. Kazuya noticed and with his left hand began to gently wipe them off her cheeks. "What's wrong Chizuru?" He asked her in concern and she smiled at him.

"Nothing...Nothing is wrong my Darling. I was just thinking about how much that I love you." Chizuru said and he smiled at her.

"I love you too...so much so that I cannot believe that this is real. That maybe it is all just a wonderful dream." Kazuya said back to her and she leaned in to kiss him. He decided that this was the right moment, reaching into the back pocket of his pants and removing his Wallet. He removed a small item within and swallowed heavily. "Uhm Chizuru...I do love you and I...oh hell I have no idea how to ask this...so here." He opened his closed hand and showed what he was holding. She stared at the small item and gasped.

"Are...you..asking..me...to...?" Chizuru stammered out moving her right hand to cover her mouth. He nodded. She smiled at him, taking the ring from his palm and moving her left hand down in front of her. She slipped the Diamond Ring onto her finger. Then kissed him. Parting she smiled again. "By the way the answer is yes." She kissed him again and then admired the ring on her finger with delight. "Oh by the way you are getting so laid tonight." She told him with a glint in her eye. Ruka immediately noticed and skated over to them, bringing Kuri with her.

"Hey did you two just...get engaged?" Ruka then saw Chizuru holding out her left hand towards her. Ruka squealed and began to laugh hysterically.

"Congrats Man...though now I am completely jealous of how lucky you are." Kuri said laughing as well.

"Just don't tell anyone...me and Chizuru want to do that." Kazuya told his friend who shrugged, then agreed. Chizuru hugged him tightly with her arms around his neck. Still gazing fondly at the Engagement Ring on her finger. Then she chuckled.

"You know our Respective Grandmothers are going to go ballistic when we tell them." Chizuru told him and Kazuya chuckled as well.

"How about we just text them and then run for it?" Kazuya suggested and Chizuru shook her head.

"Can't do that. For one they would find us. So I guess Tomorrow we should go tell them and then be prepared to be attacked by some over emotional Grandmothers." Chizuru said, thinking that both of the Elder Women would probably hug the hell out of them both. "Ah well...right now I think we need to head home. I want to some alone time with you." With that she stood and after saying their goodbyes made their way home. In route the Director sent her a Message telling her that he accepted her Story to be made into a Television Series and she would be the Rental Girlfriend Character. So she had another reason to celebrate.
