I love bath scenes in my books that I read, so of course I would make one. Don't worry, this is clean! The dirtiest thing in the story is that they are naked.

Danny and Star were home alone, Jazz was watching her beloved niece and nephew for them since it was Valentine's Day, and oddly enough Jazz didn't like the day. She loved the 15th with the cheap candy, which honestly, neither Danny nor Star could blame her. Danny decided he was going to make sure this Valentine's Day would be the best he could make it for Star. They had such a hard year so far and he wanted her to have at least one really amazing day. So he went to the grocery store and got all of her favorite candy which was right now Toblerone bars. Her favorite flowers were pink and red roses so he spared no expense, and got both of them,

When he got home Star was waiting for him with a big smile. She had his favorite candy in her hand, which was a bouquet of Reese's bars. With a smile, he greeted her with a kiss after she handed her the roses and the candy. Their kiss was passionate with all the love that they had for each other, that they had nurtured over the years.

Danny then bought them dinner from their favorite local burger place called Burger Brett's and it was really good. The food tastes like pure fat but in a good way. That being said, there is a reason that it is their sometimes food. While eating their food, they were watching NCIS. And of course, the marveling at the fact, that all of them should have been fired a long time ago! Then Danny went to run a bath for the both of them, putting in her favorite lavender scent and pouring her hot chocolate into her metal thermos. Once Danny was done, he went to his wife who was talking to the children on FaceTime.

He joined her and talked with them for a second, then he whispered to Star that he had a surprise for her. She smiled and told her kids goodnight. Danny then grabbed her hand and led her into the bathroom which was warm because the heater was roaring. Star mused to herself that if she wasn't married to him, she would have swooned at the romantic nature of it. Ok, she wouldn't but she would be thinking about jokingly fainting into his arms.

Smiling with a bit of a smirk poking through Star said "Hey Blue Eyes, care to help me get into the bath."

Danny with a beautiful grin gently started undoing her blouse and kissed her neck after he was done with unbuttoning her blouse. While he was unbuttoning her blouse, she started working on his white button up. He even wore suspenders with it, which Star knew he hated, but she loved them on him. That little detail of him putting them on before the bath made Star melt on the inside. Finally, they were undressed. Danny got into the bathtub which was beautifully big and round. Holding her hand he held her hand while she got in, he helped her into the tub.

They spend a while in the tub and finally, Star fell asleep in the tub after drinking all her hot chocolate. Danny was smiling gently while stroking her golden hair with the ends wet with water. Danny fell asleep with the satisfaction of spending such a wonderful day with his favorite woman.
