Jealousy Act 1: Mini Story

"GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY BOYFRIEND!" Chizuru Mizuhara yelled angrily as she pushed the Strawberry haired young girl away from Kazuya. Then he and the girl both stared at her in shock as she glared at both of them. Her face twisted in utter rage. Then she realized what she had said and done. She gasped in shock.

"Uhm...Mizuhara...This is my Cousin...Yukana Yama." Kazuya stuttered out, having no idea what to actually say beyond that. He had never seen Chizuru act like that. Even when she was angry at him for him doing something stupid or foolish. Like coming on to her. He had never seen her so...so angry before.

"So this is Chizuru...Huh? I am so sorry if it looked like I was trying to get cozy with your Boyfriend." Yukana said and Chizuru blushed a deep shade of red. She had effectively made a complete idiot out of herself and worse she had just basically admitted that Kazuya was her Boyfriend. Loudly and firmly. Calming herself from her sudden lack of common sense, she exhaled softly and bowed slightly.

"I am so sorry myself for pushing you." Chizuru said back and then gave Kazuya a certain look. Which told him that he was in for another let down later. He knew she would later tell him that what he had heard was just a momentary mistake. That he should not take what she said as nothing more then her once more acting like his real Girlfriend. That it was all an act and nothing more. With that thought, he felt depression set in.

"That is fine. I would do the same thing if I saw my Boyfriend being hugged by some girl. Not that I have one yet." Yukana smiled reassuringly and Chizuru took a good look at her. His Cousin was absolutely gorgeous. Making it hard to believe that she was Kazuya's Cousin. "Well I better get back to Grandma Nagomi's it is getting late." The Girl said and then hugged Kazuya, but not as close as she did before. Not wanting to once more piss off Chizuru. "You know I am so happy that Kaz here got himself such a pretty and nice Girlfriend. I know I for one was a bit worried that he would never get himself one." With that she went down and caught her Taxi that drove off. Kazuya gave a wave to her and then turned towards Chizuru.

"I know...that was just an act. You did not really mean what you said or did." Kazuya said and Chizuru stared at him. "All part of keeping up the farce that you are my Girlfriend. Right?" She could hear the sadness in his voice as he said that and she realized that she was the cause of it. She had once more raised his hopes and then once more dashed them just as quickly.

"I cannot keep doing that to him. It is no wonder he cannot find a real girlfriend. I cannot keep leading him on. It is just wrong. I know he loves me and here each time I am breaking his heart because I cannot bring myself to admit it." Chizuru thought as she looked at him. Noticing the small tears begin to form in his eyes. He turned towards his door and was about to go inside. She suspected that once inside he would cry again. She had heard it before when she had done the same thing to him. She had gave him all indications that she had feelings for him and then right after she once more shot him down. Leaving him an emotional mess. It was almost as worse then what Mami had done to him. She had to stop doing that. Otherwise she knew that he would finally give up on her and then she would loose him. "Wait." She said touching his right forearm.

"I...I need to...I have to go over to Grans tomorrow to visit with my Aunt Kyoko and Yukana." Kazuya said just wanting to get inside before he broke down in front of Chizuru. Not wanting to see how upset he was over once more being shot down by the Girl that he loved.

"Kazuya...I..." Chizuru started to say and Kazuya cut her off.

"I know you are sorry. I really need to get inside." Kazuya could not last much longer. He wanted and needed to be alone. To mourn and to somehow recover from this. She gripped his arm more tightly. Exhaling in frustration.

"Will you shut up and stop trying to go inside! So I can tell you...Kazuya...I have...I AM IN LOVE WITH YOU!" Chizuru yelled the last five words at him. then gasped realizing she actually said it out loud. He turned towards her with his mouth gaped open and wide eyed. He felt faint. Unable to fathom what he had just heard. He shook his head in disbelief.

"Uhm...Could you repeat that?" Kazuya asked her, sticking his right index finger in his ear, pretending to clear out the non-existent wax or anything else that might be there. Wanting to make sure he had heard her right and that he had not just imagined it. Chizuru moved in front of him, as she reached down with both of her hands to clasp his in hers.

"You heard me. I guess I can say it again. I am in love with you Kazuya. I love you." Chizuru said to him softly and he gasped. "I want and need to know. Do you love me?" She asked him already knowing he did, but she wanted to hear it from him.

"OF COURSE I LOVE YOU!" Kazuya blurted out and she smiled at him. Then did something that almost gave him a stroke. She leaned in and kissed him.

A half block away, Yukana watched the two kiss and she smiled. She could not believe that her plan actually worked, but of course Jealousy was an excellent motivator. Kazuya had told her the entire tale as they rode in a Taxi from Grans. That was right after she had insisted on meeting his Girlfriend Chizuru. She knew all about Rental Girlfriends. For her best friend Ranko was a Rental Girlfriend. So as they rode over to his Apartment, she had called Ranko and told her all the details. Finding out that it was unheard of for a Rental to have the same Client for more then six months. For a year. That was unheard of, unless the Rental had a thing for the Client. Which Yukana believed that this Chizuru did for her Cousin. So she had come up with the perfect scenario. No Girl that is in love with a Guy cannot stand seeing another Girl hug who they believe is theirs. Chizuru fell right into it. Though Yukana was not expecting her to be so aggressive. "She must really love him." She whispered and then had the Cab Driver continue.

Jealousy Act 2: Mini Story

Chizuru Mizuhara knew Jealousy sucked. It was a negative emotion that caused nothing but problems and that emotional response was what she was having as she sat there. She was supposed to be on a Booked Date with a Client. But she had spotted Kazuya across the way and he was with am unknown Girl. It was not Ruka, Sumi or even Mami. No it was with a girl that she had never seen before and from what she could tell. They were getting along really well. "Maybe too well." She muttered feeling the negative emotion flood through her. The Client had noticed her staring and had asked her what was wrong. She was not smiling and seemed to be ignoring him completely. She did not at first deem to answer him. Then when he persisted she snarled at him and told him it was none of his business. She had not meant to lose her temper, but she just could not keep herself from feeling jealous. She barely noticed when her Client left and she did not even care. She did not care if he gave her a negative review or if he never Rented her again. What she did care about was that in her mind at that moment was that Kazuya was cheating on her. She knew it felt wrong to even think that. They were not really together and he was not her real Boyfriend and she was not his Real Girlfriend. But that was what it felt like. Standing she began to do something she never had done before. She was going to follow Kazuya and the unknown Girl. As she did. "This is insane. What am I doing?" She asked herself as she continued to follow them, keeping her distance and not letting either know she as there. Chizuru looked closely at the Girl and frowned. Whoever she was. She was pretty. No absolutely gorgeous. Her long blonde hair hung down near her waist and the Girl had an incredible body. Hiding behind a BUS STOP with her back against the Advertised Covered Glass, she tried to overhear them.

"So Kaz...where is this Donny's you wanted to take me to?" The Girl asked and Kazuya chuckled.

"Not far from here Eri...I thought though I would show you around some first. What are you hungry?" Kazuya asked back and the Girl that now Chizuru knew was Eri giggled. She watched as Eri lightly bumped Kazuya with her left shoulder.

"Yes I am. I skipped breakfast this morning remember." Eri said and Chizuru's imagination went into overdrive. Sorted thoughts plagued her mind as she imagined things that made her even more upset. Now knowing their destination, she sneaked away and made her way to Donny's. She waited in the Bathroom, until Kazuya and Eri arrived. They sat and Chizuru then sneaked out and sat behind them in another booth, so she could continue to eavesdrop. Ordering Ice Coffee and then sat there listening to them. At one point she decided she needed to find out what was going on. So she went back to the Bathroom and called him.

"Oh...Hi Mizuhara...Is there something wrong?" kazuya's voice said over her Cellphone.

"No not really." Chizuru said trying to sound normal. "I just had a cancellation and...well I know this is not Wednesday...Would you like to Rent me for a couple of hours?" She asked him.

"Sorry I can't...Uhm...I am at work." Kazuya said and Chizuru had to suppress what she wanted to say and do. She wanted to call him a liar and then storm out and confront him. Demand to know who that Girl he was with was and accuse him of cheating on her. All completely irrational impulses that she had to fight to keep from doing.

"Okay...I will ask someone else." Chizuru said trying not to sound angry, but she was failing miserably. Hanging up before she completely lost it. She then returned to the booth and sat there. Forcing herself from not losing her temper. "He lied to me! He lied to me!" She kept whispering angrily, partially grinding her teeth in frustration. Then she overheard something that broke her heart or almost.

"Come on Kaz...let's go to your Apartment." Eri said and Chizuru gasped almost too loudly. She covered her mouth with her hands, just in time. Sitting there she slightly stewed over the fact that Eri was going back to his Apartment. Going to Kazuya's Apartment to do whatever they planned to do. That really bothered her. Especially when Kazuya said okay. She sat there for a good five minutes after the two left and then stood. As she neared the Exit Door, she reaffirmed her resolve.

"NO! I am not going to let some floosy take my Kazuya away from me! He is mine! He is my Boyfriend, even if he does not know it yet and he is not going to cheat on me!" Chizuru stated then walked purposely towards her and Kazuya's Apartment Building. At his door, she could just make out the two inside and it really enraged her. Instead of ringing his doorbell. She pounded on the door as hard as she could. Hurting her right hand, but she did not even feel it. When Kazuya opened the door, she pushed him inside grabbing his shirt with both hands. He gasped, staring at her in utter shock and confusion as she manhandled him over towards Eri. She glared at Eri who was sitting at his low table also staring at her in shock.

"Mizuhara? What...What are you...Doing?" Kazuya asked and Chizuru glared back at him.

"I COULD ASK YOU THE SAME THING!" Chizuru yelled and then tears began to fall from her eyes. "How could you? How could you...with her?" She said completely breaking down right there in front of him. No longer angry, but extremely upset and she really began to cry. Placing her head right onto his chest as she cried. He was now so confused all he could think to do was put his arms around her and hold her as she pushed herself against him. Wailing into his chest. It broke his heart to see her like this. Normally she was so confident and strong. To see her this upset made him feel terrible. He could barely understand her as she cried. Saying something about him cheating on her. Asking how he could do that to her and other things that to him made no sense. Then he realized what she was saying and he smiled broadly.

"Chizuru...I do not understand." Kazuya said still holding the upset Chizuru and looked over at Eri who seemed to understand what was going on.

"Uhm Kaz...i think she believes that you and me are...together. If this is Chizuru Mizuhara and from what you told me about her. Isn't she a Rental Girlfreind?" Eri asked and Kazuya nodded. Chizuru pulled back slightly from him and looked over at the other Girl.

"You...You told her? You told her that you...you rented me as a Rental Girlfriend?" Chizuru asked now becoming upset for an entirely different reason.

"Yes he did. Uhm...let me introduce myself. I am Erina Nakiri...Kazuya's cousin." Erina said and Chizuru looked from one to the other with her mouth gaping open. Then stared back at Kazuya.

"YOUR...COUSIN!" Chizuru growled angrily and then closed her eyes. "Oh...CRAP!" She said realizing that she just made a complete idiot and fool out of herself. Worse she had just accused him of cheating on her. Which would basically tell him that she believed that they were in a Real Relationship rather then a fake one. She immediately stepped back and out of his grip. Lowering her gaze downward and she began to blush a deep shade of red. "I...I...I...This whole thing is a huge misunderstanding." Before she could continue, Erina cut her off.

"Wait after all that. You are about to tell Kaz there that you do not have feelings for him. That you...Okay I am going to say it. That you do not love him. Come on Mizuhara you can't rightly do that to him. Not after all of that." Erina stated firmly and Chizuru looked over at her. Closing her eyes as she continued to look downward. Then with a deep sighing exhale shook her head.

"No I guess I cannot do that to him...Can I?" Chizuru said and then slowly smiled. "Or to myself." This snapped Kazuya out of his daze that he had suddenly was in from what his cousin just said.

"I am...confused." Kazuya said and both of the girls chuckled.

"What is there to be confused about Cousin. It sounds to me that Chizuru...Oh I can call you that right?" Erina asked and before Chizuru could say yes or no. "That Chizuru...wants to be more then just a Rental Girlfriend to you. But as your real Girlfriend. That she has fallen in love with you. Am I right?" She asked Chizuru who blushed again and nodded. Kazuya felt faint when he saw her nod. His mouth gapped open and he began to weave back and forth.

"You...I...This cannot be real. The girl of my dreams...the one I have fallen in love with...that I have been in love with since...well since she fell of the Ferry and I jumped in after her...no this cannot be real." Kazuya said babbling uncontrollably and Erina laughed as she watched Chizuru smile broadly and happily at him.

"Looks and sounds real to me." Erina said and then stood. "You know what...I think I might head back to Grandma Nagomi's. Let you two Love Birds...be alone together." With that she made her way to the door. She glanced back at the two and shook her head. "Hey...after I leave and shut the door. Kaz...you better kiss her or I will have to come back later and hit you." With that she left and before she could even shut the door completely. She spied in to see that they barely waited for her to leave before they kissed for the first time. As she walked down the steps, she smiled broadly. Then looked back up at his Apartment. "Got this feeling that Chizuru is going to soon be part of the family." She whispered and then used her Cellphone to call a Cab.

Parting from their first kiss, Chizuru blushed slightly and then before Kazuya could do anything. She initiated another. Everything seemed clearer in her mind as she kissed him. The doubts. The uncertainties. All of that was now gone. Also she mentally chucked out the window her Rules that she had come up with that forbid something like this. Especially the one that dictated that she not fall in love with a Client. Parting again, she did not want to let him go or to have him let her go. So she stood there holding him against her and it took a good hour before she sat with him at the table. Though she was actually leaning back against him as he had his arms around her. "I think we need to talk about this, Kazuya." She finally said and he swallowed heavily. "To erase any doubts or concerns you have...we are now a couple. I am your real Girlfriend. You are to immediately and without hesitation...stop going out with Ruka Sarashina. Also you are to understand this...as you might have discovered. I can be the jealous type."

"Yeah I kind of noticed that." Kazuya said chuckling.

"It is not funny Kazuya!" Chizuru stated and then slumped slightly. "Please don't...Please don't ever cheat on me." She told him sadly and he shook his head.

"Never. Are you kidding? I would never cheat on you Miz...Chizuru. I am not that stupid to cheat on someone that I love as much as I do you." Kazuya said and she turned her head to the left and smiled at him.

"Adorable dork." Chizuru said and then kissed him again. "I can promise you that I will never cheat on you either and for the same reasons you gave me." She reached up and caressed the right side of his face with her left hand. "I love you Kazuya and would not be that stupid to cheat on you." She said softly and then kissed him again. She liked kissing him and intended to do it a lot until they both got sick of it. Which she doubted would ever happen.

"Uhm Chizuru..What about your Job?" Kazuya asked and Chizuru smiled.

"I just quit. Not officially yet. But I am done being a Rental so I can be a Real Girlfriend to you." Chizuru replied and then leaned back once more placing the back of her head comfortably on his left shoulder. She smiled and for the first time in a long time, felt extremely happy.

Not Jealousy But a Moment: Act 3 Mini Story

With a final slap, Chizuru stepped back and glared at Mami Nanami. "Stay away from Kazuya. I mean it. You stay away from him." She said angrily as she threatened to slap the shorter blonde girl again. Mami reached up and wiped the blood from her lip.

"Why do you even care what I do? Kazuya is just a pathetic loser that has to Rent you to show that he isn't." Mami asked unable to actually look at the Girl that had just won their fight. She had thrown the first blow. Slapping Chizuru across the face and then the other Girl proceeded to almost beat the crap out of her. Chizuru grabbed her shirt front again and glared down into her eyes.

"Don't say that either! He is not a pathetic loser. He is special and means a lot to me." Chizuru said sternly and then pushed Mami away from her. Turning, she began to walk off and then turned back briefly. "Stay away from him and if I hear that you...if you do anything to hurt him. I will do worse to you then...this time." She said towards Mami and then with an intent smile continued on. Stopping at a Girl's Restroom and using wet paper towels began to wipe the blood from her own lip. Mami had gotten in a few good shots and she knew that she would at some point have a nice sized bruise on the left side of her face. She could not believe what she had done. She had not gotten in a fight with another Girl since she was 12 and now she just had a full blown one with Mami. But the other girl had pissed her off and it all started when Mami threatened to expose what she was and to humiliate Kazuya publicly. Mami was going to do that just to make herself feel better, nothing more then that. So it pissed her off and then it happened. She had grabbed Mami and within moments they were fighting. Using some of the Make-up in her bag, she covered the red mark on her face and then made her way home. To find Kazuya sitting with his back braced against his own door. He looked up at her and she could see that he had tears running down his cheeks. Her immediate thought was Mami had ignored her warnings and had told everyone.

"Ruka...Ruka broke up with me." Kazuya said sadly and Chizuru gasped.

"What happened?" Chizuru asked pokerfaced, but internally she was ready to celebrate. She had not liked it that after the first confrontation with Mami where later he had recanted about wanting her as his Girlfriend. He had decided to instead try to make it work with Ruka and for the past two weeks it seemed that she had lost her chance to be with him for real. Kazuya shook his head and swallowed back several sobs.

"She...She...She wants to date the Manager. The Manager of the Karaoke Bar." Kazuya told her and Chizuru stared at him in shock. Then sat down next to him on his right side. Keeping her skirt tucked underneath her.

"Wait...Isn't the Manager like twice her age?" Chizuru asked and Kazuya nodded.

"Almost twice." Kazuya exhaled sharply. "She told me that they have been...for the past week they have been fooling around in the Supply Closet." He did not want to say it blankly that Ruka had been having sex with the Manager in the supply closet on almost a daily basis for the past week. It would feel wrong to tell Chizuru that outright so he went with fooling around.

"I am sorry Kazuya." Chizuru said and he shook his head.

"Can I ask you something?" Kazuya asked and she nodded. "Is there something wrong with me? Is there a reason why anyone I...I get close to...does not want to be with me? First there was Mami and now Ruka." He began to sob again and Chizuru slipped her left arm over his shoulders, giving him a sideways hug. "The only reason you...stayed with me was because...because I was just one of your Clients." He said and Chizuru glared at him.

"No it was not. I stayed because...because I...I liked you Kazuya." Chizuru tried to say but could not bring herself to. At the same time she did not know how to respond to what he had just asked her and as she sat there looking at him. She was not prepared for him to lean towards her. She knew what he intended to do before he even realized what he was doing. She had come across that numerous times with other Clients and he had tried once before when they were hiding under a sheet in a Hospital Room. What shocked her, was she made no attempt to stop him as he finished leaning towards her and kissed her. She closed her eyes and relished in the moment. What really shocked and confused her was that she pressed her lips even more against his. Deepening the embrace. He suddenly stopped and thrust backwards.

"I am so sorry Mizuhara! I...I do not know what came over me! I...I...I...Please forgive me!" Kazuya quickly said knowing that at any moment, Chizuru would stand up, then proceed to beat the crap out of him and he knew he deserved it. Instead she reached up with her right hand and placed her right finger on his lips. Silencing him as she smiled at him.

"I cannot believe you..kissed...Oh the hell with it!" Chizuru lunged at him and kissed him this time. Shocking him to his core. Parting she smiled at him as he stared at her wondering if this was real. "I am going to tell you the truth for once Kazuya. I...I have...I am in love with you." She declared and now he really stared at her wide eyed.

"What? Did you just...Whoa." Kazuya said unable to fathom what he had just heard. It was too remarkable. Too incredible to be real. "You got to know I feel the same. That I am in love with you. Have been for a long long time." He stammered out and she smiled at him.

"Good." Chizuru stood up and then reached down with her left hand towards him. He took it and she helped him up. "Come with me. There is a lot we need to talk about if you are going to be my Boyfriend. My Real one." She told him as she led him into her Apartment.
