Plot:

In a moment of desperation, Chizuru had kissed Kazuya and once again lied to his Family and Friends about their relationship. Though she was unsure if it was a lie. She knew Kazuya was in love with her. But she was not sure that she was in love with him. She then asked him for some time to Investigate her feelings and if she wanted to be really his Real Girlfriend or not.

The Intervention:

Laying on her Bed, Chizuru wished she could talk to her Grandmother for advise. She was so conflicted and so confused about whether or not she wanted to be with Kazuya. "Sure he loves me...He loves me so much. But I am not sure I love him. I wish there was a way for me to know if I am or not. If being with him is what I want." She muttered mostly to herself as she stared at the ceiling. "If Grandma was alive I could ask her what I am supposed to do. How am I to know that I am or not in love with him? I do care deeply for him. But is that enough for me to want to be with him?" She looked over at the small Shrine that contained pictures of her Grandfather and her Grandmother. "Please tell me what I am supposed to do? Grandma...Grandpa. I just do not know what to do." She then slowly dozed off to sleep. Not able to notice the glowing Woman standing before her Shrine. Since the Woman was in the Heavenly Glow and was invisible to everyone.

"How can I help this young confused Lamb...Father? She is in the midst of despair and we should find a way to aid her." The Angel said upwards. Then the Angel had an inspiring idea. It would be easy since Chizuru was asleep. With a radiant smile, she used her Angelic Powers to give Chizuru a glimpse of what her life would be like without Kazuya in it.

The Somewhat Dream or Nightmare:

Awakening Chizuru sat up and yawned heavily. She could not believe she had slept so soundly and restful. Getting up she made her way to the Kitchen to get a cup of Coffee and in route her Cellphone Chimed. Checking it she noticed that she had a Book Date Request for later that day. That caught her attention. She remembered yesterday that she put in her Cellphone that she was not taking any Rental Dates today. For she was going out with Kazuya on a date. Not that it was listed in the Appointed Rental Date times since she was going out with him normally. On a real date. Something they had been doing for the past two weeks. That was the last time he had rented her officially. "I must have forgotten to actually log that I am not available today." So she declined the Rental Booking and sent the person an apology text. After drinking some Tea, she headed into the Bathroom to take a Shower and then get ready for her date with Kazuya. At about two minutes before they were to leave. She made her way outside and over to his door. Not even noticing that his Name Plate was blank. She first rang his Door Buzzer and then Knocked when he did not answer. Waiting several moments with no answer, she tried the door handle and it opened to reveal that the entire Apartment was empty. She stepped inside and looked around the empty Apartment in shock. "What? Where is...? Did he get robbed or something?" She asked as she went into the Bathroom and then the Kitchen to find nothing of his.

"Oh it is just you." A voice said from the door and Chizuru turned to see the Apartment Manager at the door. "I just remembered I did not lock the door after someone came to look at the Apartment to see if they wanted to Rent it or not." The Elder woman said and came in. "Uhm...Miss Ichonise is there something wrong? You look pale."

"Where...Where is Kazuya? What do you mean someone came to look at the Apartment?" Chizuru asked in shock at what she just heard. Completely confused. The Elder woman looked at her with concern and a lot of confusion as well.

"Do you mean Mister Kinoshita? He left months ago. I heard he moved into another Apartment on the other side of the Campus. Are you alright Miss Ichonise?" The Manager asked and Chizuru was utterly confused.

"Months ago...Why did he move?" Chizuru asked and the Manager shrugged.

"He said something about moving in with his Girlfriend. I met her...She is a lovely girl. A little timid and shy. I really was hoping that they would have moved in together here. I was even going to let her bring her adorable dog." The Manager informed her and Chizuru suspected who it was and it was not Ruka.

"Do you mean Sumi...Sumi Sakurasawa?" Chizuru asked and the Manager smiled.

"Yes...That is her name. Got to say I am happy for them...They look so in love with each other." The Manager told her and Chizuru could not understand what was happening.

"When...When did...When did he move? When did he and Sumi get together?" Chizuru asked feeling tears begin to form in her eyes. The Manager looked at her oddly.

"Dear are you sure you are alright? I mean...This was at least 4 Months ago that he moved. I have no idea when they got together. But I believe it was at least a month or 2 before then. I am not sure...They only told me when he signed out of the Lease and moved." The Manager was now really concerned about Chizuru.

"I got to go...Thank you." Chizuru almost stumbled to the door and went back to her own Apartment. Inside she slumped into her Chair. Trying to understand what was happening. It took her about an hour to find Sumi's Address and after that she went to find out what was happening. How any of this could be happening. Knowing that only Kazuya could tell her.

Taking a shortcut across the Campus, Chizuru was desperate to understand what was happening. As she neared Sumi's Apartment, she tripped on her own feet when she saw Sumi outside with Kazuya. They were holding hands, smiling and chatting idly together. Walking towards Sumi's Apartment Building. In all appearances a real happy couple. She stood there wondering if she should approach them. Wondering if she did was it right to change what Sumi had with Kazuya. But she also wanted to know what was going on. It was like the last six months had changed into something different then she remembered. So she walked towards them and they noticed her. Kazuya looked at her and she could tell he was shocked to see her. Though Sumi smiled at her.

"Hello Chizuru...It is so nice to see you again." Sumi said and Chizuru nearly gasped. The once time Shy and Timid Girl no longer talked softly and seemed to not be as insecure as she once was. It took Chizuru a moment to speak.

"Oh...Hello Sumi...Kazuya." Chizuru said sheepishly and Kazuya continued to look at her as if he was shocked and confused to see her. Then he seemed to come out of it.

"Uhm...Mizuhara...What are you doing here? I thought...You told me not to ever...You said to stay away from you and here you are...I am a completely confused." Kazuya asked and Chizuru could relate. For she was confused as well.

"What do you mean? Why would I tell you that?" Chizuru asked back and Kazuya and Sumi looked at each other and then back at her.

"Wait are you messing with me? After I confessed that I had fallen for you...You stopped letting me Rent you...Then told me to never ever talk to you again." Kazuya informed her and Chizuru felt faint. It was like everything was just wrong. She began to breath hard and looked over at Sumi.

"But...When did you two...Get together? I do not understand what is happening." Chizuru said and the two now looked at her with concern.

"Are you alright Chizuru...Don't you remember...It was a week after the Practice Date you arranged. After you blocked him as one of your Clients...I ran into him on Campus...From there we started Dating and I quit being a Rental Girlfriend." Sumi told her and Chizuru felt her knees begin to shake.

"It is all just wrong...Everything you said is wrong. That is not what happened. What about Ruka?" Chizuru asked and Kazuya again looked at her oddly.

"Ruka...Do you mean Ruka Sarashina? I have not seen or talked to her...Well in about four months. She stopped talking to me after I started going out with Sumi. So I have no idea where she is or what she is doing. Okay...I am starting to worry about you Mizuhara. You know all about this." Kazuya said and Chizuru felt lightheaded. She felt tears begin to run down her cheek. Which concerned both Sumi and Kazuya.

"Am I all alone now? With my Grandma gone...Am I all alone?" Chizuru whispered as she checked her Phone to see that she was. There was no personal Contacts on her Phone. No one listed at all. "I am. There is no one." She stumbled over to a bench and sat down. Sumi and Kazuya came over and looked down at her. Both had worried expressions on their faces.

"That is how you wanted it. You told me that you don't need anyone and after I confessed...You told me that you don't want or need me. That you could never feel the same about me." Kazuya told her and it was like the entire World was crashing down upon her.

"But that is not how it happened. You never outwardly confessed to me...You told me only about three months ago you would be there for me...That you would be by my side and you were there when...My Grandma...Passed away. You helped me deal with her passing...You were there for me when I...Needed you." Chizuru said softly trying to fathom why everything seemed to be different from what she remembered and experienced. "We made a Crowdfunding Movie together and it let my Grandma see me in a Movie. Then recently you did confess and you said you would wait for me to investigate if I felt the same about you." The two looked at her wide eyed as they shook their heads.

"Hate to say this Mizuhara...None of that happened. I have not talked to you in about six months. I never made a Crowdfunding Movie with you. I am sorry about your Grandmother...But I was never there for you after she...Passed away. I think my Grans sent you a Condolence Card. But that was it." Kazuya said and Chizuru felt like she was about to cry.

"That is not what I remember! That is not what happened!" Chizuru declared as she did start to cry. Unable to cope with how everything was just wrong. She cried and cried and cried. She felt faint as she just could not handle this anymore. Neither Kazuya or Sumi seemed to know what to do. So after a moment, she closed her eyes and did the only thing she could think of doing. She screamed. At that moment she awoke. Sweating and Crying. Her heart pounding heavily in her chest. Sitting up she glanced about her Apartment in near panic. "Was that a Dream or was it a Nightmare?" She whispered. About to stand up she felt her whole body shake and on wobbly legs she got out of bed. Stumbling slightly as she forced herself to walk first towards the Balcony and then towards her Door. "No...I need to see him...Not just talk to him. If he is there." She said opening her door, stepped out and shut hers. Then quickly walked to his. Almost praying as she touched his Call Button. It took three more times before the door creeped open to reveal a tired and confused Kazuya. Before he could inquire why she was there. She threw her arms around him and nearly tackled him in a fierce hug. Burying her face into his Shirt Covered Chest as she knocked him backwards into his Apartment. Crying heavily in relief that he as there.

Aftermath:

Laying partially on top of Kazuya on his Apartment Floor, Chizuru continued to cry into his chest as he lightly caressed her back. "I do not know what is going on...But it is alright Mizuhara...It will be okay." He said softly as he comforted her while she cried. He believed that this was like last time Chizuru had broken down. She had held onto him as she cried for her Grandmother Sayuri. So he thought perhaps she again needed someone to be there for her while she mourned. He repeated the comforting words a couple more times as she slowly regained her composure. But she still clung to him even when she stopped crying as much.

"Tell me...Tell me about the last six months." Chizuru said sobbing slightly and Kazuya did. Well a condensed version. Afterwards she sighed with relief. "It was...Just a dream or rather a nightmare." She muttered and closed her eyes. Then clung to him even more.

"Uhm...Mizuhara...Could we maybe...Get up? The floor is really starting to hurt. Especially with you...On top of me." Kazuya said and Chizuru reluctantly slid off him. As he sat up. She grabbed his right hand in her left and held it possessively. Along with tightly.

"Call me Chizuru...I want you to call me Chizuru." She demanded knowing why he called her Mizuhara most of the time. It was so that no one connected the dots that she was Chizuru Ichonise. But she did not want him to call her Mizuhara anymore. When she could, Kazuya took her over to his low table and she sat down next to him. "Kazuya...I know I seem a bit odd right now...But I had a really intense nightmare and...And I want to make sure I am not still having it. Could you tell me...Tell me how you feel about me? I want to hear you say...It. I need to hear you say what you said to me recently." He paled slightly and swallowed heavily.

"I...I...I love you...Miz...Chizuru. I am in...Love with you." Kazuya nervously said and Chizuru let out a deep sigh of relief.

"Are you still waiting no matter how long it takes for me to finish investigating if I feel the same way?" Chizuru asked and Kazuya nodded.

"I told you I would wait as long as it takes." Kazuya declared and again Chizuru sighed with relief. "I have to wonder...Is there something wrong Chizuru? I have never seen you this...way before. Not even when you...Mourned for your...For Grandma Sayuri." He asked her and Chizuru closed her eyes. The Nightmare was still fresh in her mind.

"I had a really really bad Nightmare. Maybe if I tell it to you...I might feel better." So Chizuru did. Everything that felt so real that she even now was feeling the effects of it. How everything had changed and how upset she was learning that he was not there for her. That she was in the dream completely alone. He listened and when she was done, she was partially crying again. He gave her hand a gentle squeeze and she leaned closer to him. Laying her head on to his right shoulder.

"It was just a dream Chizuru...That is all it was." Kazuya told her soothingly and Chizuru shook her head.

"No it was much more then that. It was what could have happened and it scares me to realize that. It could have easily been that way and...And it made me realize I...I need you by my side like you promised." Chizuru said moving his Right arm over her shoulders and finding it even more comforting to have him hold her. "Without you...I would be alone...Kazuya. Completely and utterly alone. That is also what scares me." She closed her eyes and then yawned.

"It is late...Maybe you...Should go back to bed." Kazuya suggested and Chizuru inhaled softly.

"Would it...Would it be alright if...If I stayed here with you tonight? I do not want to be alone tonight and...I sort of...Locked myself out again." Chizuru asked him realizing just now from the state she had been in that she had forgotten her key when she left her Apartment. Kazuya gasped loudly.

"WHAT?" Kazuya asked back in shock and Chizuru smiled warmly at him.

"I would like to stay and it is not because I locked myself out again. I just would like to stay. If that is alright?" Chizuru asked him and Kazuya felt faint. He almost did when she asked him about them sleeping on the same Futon. With him on top of the covers and her under them. He laid there with her head on the pillow mere inches from his and could not believe what was happening. He was essentially in bed with Chizuru. Right before he forced himself to doze off, he felt the bed shift slightly. "Uhm...Kazuya...Could I...Could I have a...Goodnight Kiss?" When she asked that he again gasped loudly. Now he was unsure if this was a Dream or not.

When she kissed him, Kazuya was expecting it to be more like when they were at the Resort. Sure it was incredible, but this one was beyond that. It was miraculous and extremely passionate. Parting she smiled at him. "Be here when I wake up...Please don't disappear on me." She pleaded and then smiled at him. "By the way...Kazuya...The Investigation is over...I want you to know...I do...I do love you." She said and then dozed off to sleep. He then laid there looking at her and slowly smiled. Then let out an exasperated sigh.

"How am I supposed to go to sleep now that she said that?" Kazuya muttered but after an hour or so he did doze off.

Birth of the Fated Couple:

Awakening several times during the night to make sure that Kazuya was still there, Chizuru each time smiled and dozed back to sleep. This last time though she awoke and just laid there looking at him as he slept. "Look Grandma...I have a real loving boyfriend." She muttered and then smiled again. "Problem though...I have never been in love before with a boy...I have no idea how to be in a real relationship. Sure I have dated others...But none of them was my real boyfriend. What am I supposed to do?" She thought.

"That is the easy part. Just love him and everything else will fall into place." A soft and angelic voice seemed to say to her inside her mind and Chizuru wondered if it was just her subconscious imagination that had answered her question. That was the only logical conclusion she could think of. Since the sudden voice that had spoken did not startle her or make her believe that there was someone else in the room.

"You are right. That is all I have to do." Chizuru said and then smiled again. "All I have to do is love him and not worry about anything else. Thanks Grandma." She had recognized the voice as soon as she had heard it. With that she fell back asleep with a content smile on her face.

When the sun shined through the Balcony Door. They both awoke and Chizuru knew exactly where she was and who she was with. Though Kazuya partially panicked when he saw her laying there next to him on his Futon. "Wait...Last night wasn't a dream?" He asked her and she giggled. Shaking her head.

"Nope...This is real. I am really here with you...Boyfriend." Chizuru said with a coy smile. Really liking it when he stared at her wide eyed.

"B...B...B...Boyfriend?" Kazuya stammered out and Chizuru giggled again.

"Yes...Boyfriend. You are my Boyfriend after all. Just like I am your Girlfriend." Chizuru thought it funny that he looked like he was about to faint. Then of course he smiled like a buffoon. "Now I do not know about you...But I am starving. How about we as a Couple go get something to eat?" She sat up and after a few minutes she stood and was about to leave. Then turned back towards him. "I will be back in about half an hour or so. That is after I get the Manager to unlock my door again. So...Don't...Don't disappear on me. Be here when I come back." She told him with some concern that perhaps her Nightmare might come to pass and he would not be here when she came back.

"I will be. Don't worry about that. See you soon." Kazuya told her reassuringly and then pinched himself to make sure he was indeed awake. She smiled and shook her head. Then went down to see if the Apartment Manager could let her into her Apartment again. Since it was just a few minutes after Eight. The Manager was there and opened her door for her. Scolding her about this was the second time she had locked herself out.

At the Cafe, Kazuya found it amazing that unlike the many times they had gone to a Cafe or Diner. That Chizuru now sat next to him instead of across from him. "You are staring at me again." She said nonchalantly easily noticing that he had been just staring at her for an extended amount of time.

"Can't help it. You are just so cute. I love it when you go with the intermix look." Kazuya said and Chizuru wrinkled her brow at him.

"What do you mean by that?" Chizuru asked and he smiled at her.

"Well you have your hair down like when you are Mizuhara. Instead of having it braided when you are yourself. Then there is the Glasses. There is also how you are dressed. Usually when you are yourself. You wear pants. But as Mizuhara you wear a skirt and matching blouse. But here you are wearing Pants and a Blouse. So when you intermix your looks...You are extremely cute." Kazuya clarified and Chizuru blushed slightly. Then was saved from her minor embarrassment when the Waitress come to their table. On the way back to the Apartments holding hands, Chizuru let out a sigh.

"I guess we need to talk about how we are going to tell Ruka that we are now really together." Chizuru said not relishing in how Ruka was going to react when they told her. For all this time while she was investigating whether she was in love with Kazuya. Ruka had this chance to sway Kazuya away from her. Now that was gone and she suspected that Ruka was not going to take it well.

"Do we have to. I mean she is going to...I do not really want to hurt her." Kazuya said conflicted over how much he did not want to hurt Ruka. But at the same time he was now with Chizuru and he was deeply in love with her.

"We have to tell her. It would be cruel for her to suddenly find out that we are now a couple. It would really hurt her to find out from someone else or discover it herself." Chizuru said and Kazuya had to agree with that. Nearing the Apartment Building the ground began to shake violently and Kazuya quickly moved Chizuru away from the trees and any overhangs. The quake ended almost as soon as it began and the two glanced about.

"Man that was at least a FIVE. We have not had one like that in awhile. Even though it was a lot shorter then usual." Kazuya commented calmly and Chizuru nodded. Making sure there was no aftershocks, they continued towards their Apartment Building and by the time they got there. The Manager was running Yellow Caution Tape across the front of the Apartment Building.

Homeless?:

"I guess I could go stay at my Parents and Grandmothers." Kazuya said reluctantly and then looked over at Chizuru. He was worried that if he did, then he probably would barely get to see Chizuru that much. "Do you know where you will go?" He asked and Chizuru slowly nodded.

"MY Grandma's...My Grandma's house isn't going up for sale until next Month. I guess I will go stay there until we can move back into here." Chizuru said and exhaled with a deep sigh. "I do not like the fact that...We probably won't be able to see each other that much. Not with how far apart your Parents house is and my Grandma's." When she said that it shocked Kazuya. Because he was thinking the exact same thing. "Uhm...Kazuya...I know this might sound...How about you stay with me at my Grandma's?" She suggested and he gasped loudly.

"Are you serious?" Kazuya asked her and Chizuru smiled.

"Yes. I don't relish in the idea of us not being able to see each other right after we finally became a couple." Chizuru said and then held up her hand towards him. "Now don't get any funny ideas...We just started our relationship...I am not saying we are going to...You know. Not yet anyhow. You would sleep in one room and me in another." She declared and Kazuya nodded with approval.

At what was now Chizuru's House, she told Kazuya a long list of rules and the main one was that he stay in his Room at night and she would stay in hers. Later that night she broke that one when she climbed into bed with Kazuya. When he asked her about it. "I already broke the rules both Diamonds and my own when I fell in love with you. So rules are made to be broken." She declared and snuggled against him.
