Plot:

Making a Promise to someone is important and should kept. When someone gives someone else a Promise then they should strive to keep that promise. The basic definition of a Promise is a declaration that something will or will not be done. For Chizuru, Kazuya had promised to remain by her side and then later promised to wait for her to investigate whether or not she was in actual love with him. It had been just over a week after the Apartment Building was repaired and they were allowed to return to their Apartments. At that point Chizuru was still in the midst of her Investigation and has decided that instead of Selling her Grandmother's House. She is going to keep it and live in it. So that meant she was moving.

Discovery:

Tapping closed one more box, Chizuru reached up and wiped the sweat of her forehead. Glancing at the Clock she noticed that it was just after 9 PM. "Can't believe I have been packing my stuff for the last seven hours." She muttered and shook her head. Somewhat amazed on how much stuff she did have in her Small Studio Apartment. She had already taken a great deal to her Grandma's House when she and Kazuya had lived there together. Now she was moving everything else. Of course with the help of Kazuya who readily volunteered to help her move her things tomorrow afternoon. Standing from the Chair she was sitting on, she stretched and arched her stiff back. Deciding to step out on the Balcony to get some nice cool air. Once outside she looked around the Dividing Wall and noticed that Kazuya's Lights were on. She debated on whether to throw a woodchip to get his attention and perhaps ask him to go out and have a late dinner with her. "I have not made my decision yet...But that does not mean we cannot go out." That was the reasoning she had come up with. As she was about to throw a Woodchip, she heard something from his Apartment that made her gasp. A moaning sound emanating from his Apartment and from what she could tell it was from a Girl and it sounded as if it was sexual. She listened harder and heard the Sounds continue and actually increase. As she attempted to identify the source. "Is that Ruka...Does this mean they are...That she and Kazuya are...But he promised." She said softly. Turning she went back into her own Apartment and slide the door shut. "He promised to wait...He said he loved me and he promised to wait. He promised that he would be by my side." She said in shock as she slowly slumped to the floor and leaned back against the wall. He dull pain started to throb within her chest as she thought about Kazuya being with Ruka. "Has he given up on me...Has he decided not to wait and is now with Ruka. But he promised." She said sadly as tears began to roll down her cheeks. "He promised." She whispered as she pulled her knees up to her chest and started to cry. Then she cried herself to sleep.

Stumbling up the steps of the Apartment Building, Kazuya squinted against the brightness of the sun that was shinning. He was tired and worn out. "I cannot believe that took almost twelve hours." He muttered as he neared the took of the steps. He had spent almost all that time at the Family Store doing the much needed restocking of the shelves. At the top and near his door, Chizuru's opened and she stepped out. Then was about to go back inside hers. "Good Morning Chizuru." He said happily and she partially scowled at him.

"Good Morning." Chizuru said coldly and did not even really look at him. Which now he could tell she was upset at him for some reason. So he decided to just ask.

"Uhm...Did I do something wrong Chizuru...Wait is this about helping you move. I thought we were going to do that this afternoon." Kazuya said hoping that was what was making her upset at him. She glared at him and then looked away again.

"You promised." Chizuru whispered and then glared at him again and he could see moisture begin to form in her eyes. "You promised to wait for me to finish...Inverstigating my feelings and if I have any." She stated and Kazuya looked at her completely confused.

"I am. I am waiting just as I promised." Kazuya said and Chizuru glared at him.

"LIAR!" Chizuru snarled loudly. Tears began to flow down her cheeks. "I know...I heard you and...And Ruka last night! I heard you and her!" She said angrily and her voice etched in pain. Kazuya shook his head.

"I was not with Ruka last night. I swear. I was not even here last night. I was at my Parent's Store helping with the Restocking of the Shelves." Kazuya quickly said and then it dawned upon him what she might have heard. Chizuru clenched her fists. Having a very strong impulse to hit Kazuya for lying to her repeatedly.

"Stop lying! I heard you and her last night! I heard what you two were doing!" Chizuru said as she wanted to hurt Kazuya for betraying her feelings.

"I am not lying. Listen Chizuru...I told you I...I love you and I will wait forever for you to make your decision. What you heard was...Well...Come here and I will show you." Kazuya took hold of her right hand and Chizuru was about to hit him. But stopped herself. She wanted to believe him so badly that she was willing to let him bring her over to his door. Once there he rang the Buzzer and then knocked. which confused her. Wondering why he was ringing his door bell and knocking on his own door. "Come on you two...Open the door already. Keitaro...Get your butt out here." He said towards the door and after a few moments. It opened a few inches.

"Oh...Kazuya...Shit. What time is it? Oh crap. Wait about twenty minutes...me and Naru...We just woke up." Someone that Chizuru guessed was Keitaro. The door shut and she looked at Kazuya who was standing right in front of her.

"What is going on?" Chizuru demanded and Kazuya smiled.

"Keitoro there is like...a cousin. His Mother and Mine are old friends. Well he and his Girlfriend Naru. They both live in at Hineta Apartments in Hina and...And they have had a hard time...Their friends and family kind of...They don't get much time alone together. So he asked while I was dong restocking if they could...Have some private time in my Apartment until I came home." Kazuya quickly told her and Chizuru blushed.

"So what I heard last night...Was them...?" Chizuru blushed even more realizing that she had heard was those two inside having relations. She exhaled with a sigh of relief and then noticed how close she was standing in front of Kazuya. She looked up at him and she started to breath softly in and out. Her heart was pounding heavily in her chest as she stood there. He leaned closer and she tilted her head back. When he was about to kiss her, she interposed her right hand. "No...Kazuya...I can't. We can't." She said her voice low and filled with regret. "If we...If I kiss you...If I let you kiss me...Then...Then I...We just can't. Not yet...Not until...I...I do not want any...Doubts." She forced herself to step back and placing her right hand now on his chest. After a few more breaths, she calmed herself enough and then noticed the hurt in his eyes. "I want you to know...I wanted to Kazuya...But if I did. Then I will always have doubts and be uncertain. When...When we...I do not want any doubts." She said to him and he slowly nodded.

"Okay. I understand." Kazuya let out a breath of his own and Chizuru could tell he was upset. At that moment the door opened and Chizuru met Keitaro and Naru. They only stayed a few moments and then left together.

"You look like you are about to keel over. Go take a nap and I will come get you later. You are still going to help me move...Right?" Chizuru asked and Kazuya nodded again. Then he went inside his Apartment and Chizuru went back to hers. Once inside she leaned back against the door and slumped to the floor. "Grandma...What is wrong with me? Why couldn't I just...I wanted to...I wanted to so badly. I wanted to tell him...I do love him. I love him and want to be with him forever. But...I just could not...Why am I like this?" She asked herself as she sat there shaking her head. "No! I can't keep doing this...I can't let this happen." She declared firmly and went back to packing her belongings.

Declaration:

Lugging another Box down to the MOVING POD. Kazuya even felt even more tired then he had before. The four hour Nap that he had taken only resulted in him feeling more tired then earlier. Though he really had not slept that much. His thoughts of almost kissing Chizuru again had kept him awake. When Chizuru came down with another Box, he took it from her and stacked on top of another. "At this rate...We should have everything out of my Apartment by tomorrow." She commented. Kazuya only grumbled inaudibly in response and went back upstairs. "Hey what was that? What did you say just now?" She demanded following him until he reached her Apartment.

"It was nothing." Kazuya stated and went to pick up another box. She stopped him.

"No. You said something. So what is wrong Kazuya?" Chizuru asked insistently and Kazuya inhaled sharply.

"Nothing. Nothing is wrong." Kazuya said and Chizuru stared at him.

"Oh there is something. So what is it?" Chizuru demanded and Kazuya closed his eyes. Then opened them and she could see the sadness in them. He silently cursed himself for responding the way he did when she mentioned that she would have everything out of her Apartment tomorrow.

"I am just tired. Trust me you don't want to know. It would only...Make you upset." Kazuya said and was about to get back to work. But Chizuru refused to let him.

"I do want to know. So what is it?" Chizuru insisted and Kazuya let out another sigh.

"I know the real reason you are moving into your Grandma's House and it has nothing to do with saving money." Kazuya said and looked downward at the floor. Chizuru narrowed her eyes at him.

"Oh you do...Do you? So why am I really moving to my Grandmother's House?" Chizuru asked and Kazuya shook his head.

"So eventually you can...You are moving to distance yourself from me. Eventually after some time...I will never see you again. You will tell me that you have decided that...You don't love me after all and...And then you will ask me to...stay away." Kazuya told her and Chizuru scowled at him. Placing her hands on her hips.

"You actually think that?" Chizuru asked and Kazuya nodded.

"It's true isn't it? That is the real reason you are moving there. Oh sure...You will deem to slowly at first...Maybe we will get together once a week and then later once every two weeks and then once a month. Until..." Kazuya did not continue. Then he sighed again. "Forget it...Let's get you moved out." He reached down to pick up a box and Chizuru pushed his hands away. She glared at him.

"I am not doing that. I am moving for the exact reason I said. I decided to keep my Grandmother's House because I cannot bring myself to sell it and it will be cheaper for me to live there then here. That is it." Chizuru told him crossly and Kazuya gave her a look that indicated that he did not believe her. She grabbed the front of his shirt with her right hand. "I am telling you the truth. Listen...I...I am not...I do not know how to...Kazuya...I...I...I LOVE YOU...YOU IDIOT!" She yelled and then lunged towards him. Kissing him roughly. So roughly that she was sure their teeth clicked together. She continued to kiss him as she used her right foot to shut the outside door. Then maneuvered him to the only furniture that was still in the Apartment. Her bed.

Dusk:

Laying on top of Kazuya, with her hands on his chest with her head in between. Chizuru inhaled softly and smiled. She could feel the warmth of his naked body against hers and she liked it. She knew they both were physically and emotionally exhausted. Her body felt stiff and sore from the hours of what they had done. She noted that their first time was not that good. But after she found herself thoroughly enjoying all those times. What she found funny was they had used all of what she had in her Nightstand. So if they were going to indulge again they would need more. Though right now she was not sure she could or in fact he could. She moved and looked up at him. His eyes were closed and he had this small smile crested on his lips. She smirked. "You can stop pretending to be asleep." She told him and he opened his eyes and smiled at her.

"I do not want to miss a second of being like this with you." Kazuya said and Chizuru smiled at him.

"I know what you mean. I feel the same." Chizuru then stopped smiling. "I need to tell you the truth about something." She said sullenly and Kazuya stopped smiling.

"Okay." Kazuya said sheepishly. Suddenly worried. She inhaled deeply.

"I actually lied to you. What you said about me moving...I want you to know that...You were right. I believe I was going to do exactly what you said. I was not going to admit it to you or myself. But I know I would have at some point." Chizuru said and Kazuya frowned.

"Then why did you...Why didn't you just go and...?" Kazuya trailed off not wanting to say it aloud. Chizuru bit her bottom lip and then took another breath.

"Because I do not want to be alone anymore. Also I did not want you to be with Ruka or Sumi. I know that sounds selfish and petty. But I knew if I pushed you away you would end up with either of them while I would be alone and miserable." Chizuru told him and Kazuya thought about what Sayuri had asked him to do. To be there for Chizuru. "I could not let myself just let you go. Not anymore. I want to be your Girlfriend Kazuya...Your real one." Kazuya thought of something he wanted to know.

"Are you still going to move into...Your Grandmother's House...Your House now?" Kazuya asked and Chizuru smiled at him.

"Yes...But...I want you to move in with me." Chizuru said and Kazuya gasped.

"What? Isn't that skipping a couple of steps? I mean...You are talking about me and you...In the same room. Because you told me the room I was staying in...You are going to make that a Common Room. Are you sure you want to do that?" Kazuya asked and Chizuru chuckled.

"Yes I am. Also who cares about us skipping the whole ridiculous notion of us Dating each other for an extended amount of time. Then moving in together. Actually we were supposed to wait awhile before we...Well we...What we did already." Chizuru said and then blushed as he blushed as well. "So...Kazuya will you move in with me?" She asked him and Kazuya nodded with a huge smile on his face.

Moving Day and Other Days:

A day later and with the help of Kibe and Kuri, they moved all of Kazuya's things down to a Moving Pod. The same one Chizuru had used and rented for another two days. When they finished a Truck would come and move it over to what was going to be her and Kazuya's house. There they would unpack it and that was it. It was the same with her belongings a Day ago. The only thing Kazuya decided to just carry himself was his Fish. Which would be put in the Room he had stayed in when he first lived at the House. That room Chizuru had made into a Common Room. With the Pod moved the same day, they began to unload it. "So where do you want all of Kazuya's Clothes?" Kibe asked holding up a bundle of Clothes and before Kazuya could tell him. Chizuru did.

"Back there in the Bedroom." Chizuru gestured to their Bedroom and Kibe and Kuri both stared at her and Kazuya in disbelief.

"What? Are you two...In the same room?" Kuri asked and the two both nodded. "Whoa...Dude...You are the man. I can't believe you and Chizuru are going to live together. In the same bedroom. How? I mean...Why Chizuru...You could do so much better then him?" His Friend said and Kazuya had an urge to smack him. Chizuru simply smiled.

"I don't think so. He is...Well I love him and by the way that is what happens eventually when you get yourself a Girlfriend. Now let's get that Pod emptied and everything unloaded." Chizuru ordered them and began to unpack Kazuya's Dishes to add with her own. With all the Boxes and Kazuya's other things out of the Pod, She called the Company and they came and retrieved the empty Pod. The Driver handed her a Bill and she paid it. Under protest of Kazuya who believed he should pay it.

Three Weeks later, Chizuru was walking home from the Train Station. Returning from another Audition. She knew she probably did not get the part. But still she had given it her all. She suspected that the Casting Director was going to go with his Niece and not someone that could actually act. Just as she was about to walk up to the door Shiori called her and invited her and Kazuya to dinner.

"It is so nice to finally meet you Kazuya. Chizuru has told me a little about you...I got to say Chizuru...He is extremely cute." Shiori said holding out her hand towards Kazuya and he shook it. He then looked over to see Umi. Who with some trepidation shook his hand as well. Sitting next to her Boyfriend, Chizuru waited for why Shiori had invited her and Kazuya to dinner. After a moment, their host smiled at her. "Normally I would tell you this after we eat...But I can't wait. Get this...They are going to make The Heron Princess into a Movie and...They want me to play The Princess and you...And you as Nene."

"What? Really?" Chizuru said a little too loudly and then lowered her tone. "Seriously...That is awesome." She looked over to see Kazuya beaming and she could not help but smile broadly as well.

"Yes. The Director wants to meet you this Wednesday in her Office. So how about it Chizuru...Want to be in a Movie?" Shiori asked and Chizuru nodded vigorously. Excusing himself with the excuse of going to the Bathroom, Kazuya left them while Shiori told Chizuru all of the details. How she was going to go with her when Chizuru went to meet the Director. Inside Kazuya let out a sigh. Not really noticing when Umi came in as well.

"I hate to be the one that is the barrier of bad news. But you do know...Chizuru is probably going to..." Umi said and Kazuya slowly nodded.

"Yeah...I know. If she becomes an Actress in an actual Movie. She won't want to be with a nobody like me." Kazuya said and he was surprised that Umi looked like he felt sorry for him. After another moment he returned to the table they were almost done talking when he sat back down. A few minutes later Umi returned and sat down as well. That was when Kazuya found out that Umi did not get offered the part as the Shogun. Kazuya then believed that Umi was essentially in the same boat as him. At some point Shiori would most likely no longer go out with him as well.

Walking home together, Chizuru was giddy with excitement. Believing that this could be the first major step to accomplish her dreams. "Isn't this great. I am going to be in a Movie. Oh sure I was in that Movie that we made together. But this is a real Movie that I will get paid for." Chizuru said and Kazuya smiled at her.

"Yes it is." Kazuya said feigning that he was also excited. Chizuru looked over at him and narrowed her eyes.

"Okay...What is it? Usually something like this...You loose your volume control. So what is wrong and don't do that when you try to say it is nothing?" Chizuru asked and Kazuya gave a soft chuckle. Noticing that she already had him pegged and could now tell when he was not being completely honest with her.

"It is not really...I was just wondering...After you become a real life Actress...Are you going to dump me?" Kazuya asked and Chizuru turned towards him staring at him in confusion.

"Why would you even say that? Of course I am not going to dump you." Chizuru said and then saw once more one of his Tells.

"It is just...If you become an Actress...Are you really going to want to be with a nobody like me?" Kazuya asked her and Chizuru scowled. Reaching up she plunked him in the middle of his forehead with her right index finger.

"Don't be an idiot. Of course I will want to be with you. Do you realize how long I anguished over...I am not about to let all I went through go to waste." Chizuru stated and then noticed something or rather a place that would convince him that she was telling the truth. So she partially dragged him inside.

"Why are we here?" Kazuya asked when he saw the Sign inside the Large Building. Chizuru did not say a word as they entered one of the Offices that was open twenty four hours seven days a week. Finding the appropriate form as she entered. She filled it out. Then using a INK Pad that was on the counter, she put her thumbprint on it. Since she had left her Seal back at home. Then pushed it in front of Kazuya who was trying to see what it was while she was filling it out.

"Fill this out." Chizuru ordered him and he looked at the form. He gasped loudly.

"This...This...This is a Marriage Registration Form?" Kazuya said paling immensely as he looked at the Form. Seeing that Chizuru had completed her part. She smiled at him.

"Yes it is. Now fill it out and stamp it." Chizuru told him and without any hesitation Kazuya filled out his half of the Form. Picking up the Form, she led him over to the Clerk and within moments the Clerk stamped it with the Official Seal and handed them back their Copy.

"Congratulations...Mister and Miss Kinoshita. It takes twenty four hours for the Form to be registered and filed. Regardless as of this moment you two are legally Married. That will be Five thousand Yen. Cash or Credit. Sorry no Checks please" The Clerk said almost with no real emotion. Telling Kazuya that the much older woman probably does this a lot. He stood there staring at Chizuru and the Form in her hand. As she paid the Clerk.

"You know what...I think I might go by Chizuru Ichonise Kinoshita. Later I will have to get my Identification changed with that." Chizuru said putting the form in her Purse. Then clasped Kazuya's hand in hers. She led him outside. "There is a 24 Hour Pawn Store right around the corner. Let's see if they have some inexpensive Wedding Rings. Because I want a Ring and I want you to have one too." She told him as she almost dragged a dazed Kazuya along with her. "I am going to have it all now. I am going to be an accomplished Actress and a Loving Husband. Though my proprieties have changed to the Husband is more important to me now then my being an Actress. Either way I got everything I want" She thought with a huge smile.

With a pair of thirty thousand Wedding Rings now on their fingers, the newly married couple walked now back towards the House and Home. Both were initially thinking about that tonight could be considered their Honeymoon. Then it dawned upon Kazuya. "Oh shit! My Grans and Parents are going to kill me. They always wanted me to have an actual wedding ceremony." He said and Chizuru giggled.

"What's to say we can't do that in a couple of months. Truth be told...Ever since I was twelve I have always wanted to have a Western Style Ceremony. Where I get to wear my Grandma's Wedding Gown." Chizuru said and Kazuya sighed with relief.

"Good. That will give me a reprieve from being killed." Kazuya said as they neared the House. Immediately heading to the Bedroom, turning their Cellphones off and spending the next fourteen hours in that room.
