The Next Day:
"I think we should tease your Grandmother and Parents a little bit." Chizuru suggested as they neared Kazuya's Family's Home and the Kinoshita Store. She peered up at the Second Story Apartment and then smiled at Kazuya.
"What do you mean by teasing them? You do realize that I will be the one that they will take it out on. Well my Grans will." Kazuya asked wanting details and hoping that he did not end up the brunt of his Grandmothers hostility.
"Oh come on Kazuya...This will be fun. Now I am not saying we tease them too badly. Let's kind of get them all upset and then tell them. Trust me...I know just how to do this." Chizuru told him and Kazuya had a sinking feeling that he was going to get wacked by his Grandmother. Reaching out he rang the door buzzer and his Grandmother asked who it was over the intercom. The two both knew she probably was looking at them via the Camera.
"It is my Angel Chizuru...Oh and it Kazuya." Nagomi said excitingly and then when she mentioned Kazuya it sounded like a complete let down. "Hold on a second...I will let you in."
"Feeling the love. Well for you. Not me." Kazuya said and Chizuru nudged him with her left shoulder. While keeping her left hand hidden even from the Camera. He was doing the same.
"Don't let it bother you. I love you. Does that help?" Chizuru said softly to him and Kazuya smiled.
"Let's tease them." Kazuya said mischievously and Chizuru giggled again. Then when the door opened the two had stopped smiling and looked somber. Nagomi greeted them both. A placid look at Kazuya and an extremely emotional hug for Chizuru. Calling her an Angel and a Princess through the whole encounter. Once inside and at the Low Table within the Living Room. He leaned closer. "It is nice to see that Grans opinion of you has not diminished even after the whole debacle a few months ago." He whispered to her and Chizuru smiled at him. Then stopped when the much older woman came back in carrying a tray with a TEAPOT and CUPS. Kazuya and Chizuru kept their left hands hidden under the table.
"So what brings you two for a visit today?" Nagomi asked and Kazuya shook his head.
"I think it might be best to wait for Mom and Dad. They should be taking their lunch break soon...Right?" Kazuya said and his Grandmother looked at the Clock and nodded. Then almost glared at Kazuya. Suspecting whatever the two were going to tell them. She was not going to like it. Before she could ask. Harumi and Kazuo opened the door and came inside.
"Kazuya...Chizuru...This is a pleasant surprise. So what brings you here so early today?" Harumi asked and Kazuya took that as a cue to start teasing them.
"Mom...Dad...Grans...Uhm...We got some bad news." Kazuya said pretending to be reluctant and also being completely somber with regret. As if he was about to tell them something devastating.
"Not bad there darling. That was perfect. I bet any second Grans is going to go ballistic and then...We let them have it." Chizuru thought trying to suppress her smile.
"Oh no. Don't tell me that after everything you have done. After finding out that Chizuru is a Rental Girlfriend and everything else. Don't tell me that somehow Kazuya has screwed up and is causing you to break up with him." Nagomi said accusingly towards Kazuya and was about ready to fully punish him thoroughly. Chizuru looked over to his Parents to see they too were becoming upset with their son. Believing what Nagomi had said was probably true. Then she noticed that Nagomi was clutching a stick tightly in her right hand.
"Chizuru if we don't tell them soon. She is going to whack me with that stick." Kazuya whispered to her and Chizuru smirked. She kind of liked it when his Grandmother punished him. But that was now her job. To punish him when he did something wrong.
"Like Kazuya had said...We have some bad news." Chizuru said drawing out the news a little bit.
"So what is this bad news?" Kazuo asked and both Chizuru and Kazuya readied themselves for what would happen next.
"Well we sort of...Did something that you probably won't be happy about." Kazuya said and noticed that his Grandmother, Mother and Father were all getting frustrated.
"DID WHAT! TELL US ALREADY!" The three elders seemed to yell all together. Chizuru with a sigh, reached into her purse and then held out a piece of paper to Nagomi. Who took it and unfolded it. She began to read it and then gasped loudly. She smiled broadly and began to laugh hysterically.
"What is it Mom?" Harumil asked trying to see the paper that Nagomi was clutching in both of her hands tightly.
"THEY GOT MARRIED! THEY ARE MARRIED! THIS IS A MARRIAGE REGISTRATION FORM!" Nagomi yelled still smiling broadly as tears began to flow down her cheeks. She thrust the Form out towards Harumi and Kazuo. Then the three looked over at Kazuya and Chizuru who held up their Left Hands showing them the Wedding Rings on their fingers. Suddenly the two were engulfed in a series of hugs.
"What was with this telling us you had bad news?" Nagomi demanded after the elder were in control of themselves. "This is marvelous news...This is spectacular news." Chizuru and Kazuya smiled at her.
"Well Grans...I always thought you, Mom and Dad wanted me to have a big Marriage Ceremony. Not just fill out a Registration form." Kazuya said and Nagomi still had an urge to hit her grandson for teasing her. Though she suspected it was Chizuru's idea. Chizuru turned towards Kazuya's Parents and bowed.
"I do hope you are not displeased that I married your Son. Miss Kinoshita and Mister Kinoshita." Chizuru said formally and his parents scowled.
"None of that...You call me Mom and him Dad. You are after all our daughter in law now. Though I rather think of you as my Daughter." Harumi said grabbing Chizuru in a hug. Then noticed that Chizuru was crying. "What is the matter dear?" The Elder woman asked with concern. Kazuya already knew the answer as he Wife cried.
"It has been a long time for her to...Her Mother passed away some time ago and her Father split on both her and her Mother before then." Kazuya said and Chizuru nodded moving back some as her Mother in Law gently wiped her tears off her cheek.
"That is alright dear...You have parents now that love you. You also have a Grandmother that you know adores you." Harumi told her and Chizuru smiled really liking that she again had a family. Suddenly Nagomi clapped her hands together loudly.
"Okay...Enough of this mushy stuff. Now what I think would be a wonderful idea is that you two actually have a full blown Wedding Ceremony." Nagomi said and both Chizuru and Kazuya smiled at her.
"We were actually thinking the same thing. But it will have to wait until Chizuru is done with her Movie she is going to be in." Kazuya told them and they all looked over at Chizuru.
"Oh that was the other good news. I got cast for a Role in a Movie. So we will have to wait until I am done. Which should only be four or five months from now." Chizuru said and again she and Kazuya were enveloped in some hugs.
"That will be fine. It will give us plenty of time to plan it and have it." Kazou said and Chizuru looked over at him.
"If you don't mind...Dad. Would you mind not only being Father or the Groom...But also the Bride. Including giving me away." Chizuru asked and Kazou beamed at her with tears running down his cheeks.
"Yes. I would be honored. Look at this Harumi...We got ourselves a daughter just like we wanted." Kazou said and then an idea came to him. "We need to have a party. Have everyone come and celebrate." He suggested and Nagomi clapped her hands together again.
"Sounds like a plan. Okay...Chizuru...Kazuya start calling and inviting your friends. Harumi...Go order food...Pizza and Sushi. Kazou...go close the store. We are going to have one hell of a party." Nagomi ordered and then used her own Cellphone to contact a couple of her own friends. Wanting to show off her new Daughter in Law to them. While the others began to do as they had been told. While Chizuru was inviting Shinbo and Kawanaka.
"One of them is going to want to be my Maid of Honor. But I think I want Sumi to do that. Who do you want as your Best Man? Kuri or Kibe?" Chizuru asked him and Kazuya thought about it as he finished calling Kuri to invite him to the Party.
"I am actually considering neither. They both will blow it as the Best Man. So what do you think about me asking..." Kazuya asked and Chizuru smiled. Liking that suggestion of who he wanted as his Best Man.
The Party:
After the announcement, Kazuya made his way around the others towards a somewhat depressed Ruka. As if at any moment she was going to break down and cry. He felt bad for her and as he neared her she tried to smile at him. "Hey...I am sorry. I should have told you before all this." He said to her and Ruka let out a deep sigh.
"It is alright. I sort of knew this would happen. I sort of knew from the beginning I really did not have a real chance at getting you to be with me. Though I was really hoping that Chizuru would blown it and I could swoop in and make you mine." Ruka admitted and Kazuya already knew that. She was not subtle about her intentions or what she wanted. "Say...Who is Chizuru going to ask to be her Maid of Honor?" She asked gesturing over at Chizuru who was talking to Shinbo, Kawanaka and Sumi.
"She is going to ask Sumi. Uhm speaking about that...I was sort of wondering if you would like to be my Best Person." Kazuya asked her and Ruka gasped.
"Are you serious?" Ruka asked back in shock and Kazuya nodded. "What about your friends...Shun and that balding guy?"
"Sure they are my best friends...But they both are idiots and I rather have you. After all you are one of my best friends too. That is if you want to be. With me and Chizuru getting Married...I am not sure you would want to be mine and Chizuru's friend." Kazuya told her and Ruka smiled with tears forming in her eyes.
"Of course I want to be with both of you and yes I would love to be your Best Person." Ruka then smirked. "Just don't expect some wild Bachelors Party with strippers and anything sorted." They both chuckled and Kazuya shook his head.
"I wouldn't want any and that was one of the reasons I did not want Kuri or Kibe. Those two would probably have a Bachelor's Party would have all levels of debauchery and probably would at some point involve the Police." Kazuya told her and Ruka did not know much about his two friends. But she bet they would do something so idiotic.
At the end of the Party, Chizuru walked next to Kazuya heading for home. She had spent most of the Party explaining to Shinbo and Kawanaka why she wanted Sumi as her Maid of Honor. Then had Grandma Nagomi basically showing her off to all of the Elder Woman's older friends. All in all though she did have a great time. "I can't believe Kuri and Kibe. They almost got into a fight over wanting to be my Best Man. Then when I told them that Ruka was going to be my Best Person. They both wanted to beat me up." Kazuya said to her and Chizuru giggled.
"Well I almost had the same thing with Shinbo and Kawanaka. That is until I told them I had chosen Sumi." Chizuru brought her left hand up and gazed fondly at the two rings on her Ring Finger. It felt so unreal to her. But there it was. Proof that she was indeed Married. She wished she had done this before her own Grandmother had passed away. Just so her Grandmother would know that she was not going to be alone. "I was such an idiot. Why couldn't I have admitted that I had fallen for him when I first felt it." She knew the answer as soon as she had thought it. She was just being herself. Her stupid stupid self.
"I am thoroughly exhausted. That Party lasted longer then I thought it would." Kazuya commented and Chizuru herself was feeling just as tired.
"Yes it did. Though I hope you are not too tired and it actually is still early." Chizuru inquired and then blushed slightly a little embarrassed over what she had implied. That she hoped he was able to be intimate with her when they got home. Thankfully she did not have to elaborate for she could tell by the way Kazuya looked at her that he fully understood. "We are married after all. We are allowed and it is expected for us to...Do that kind of thing on a regular basis and I do enjoy it." She thought as she rationalized to herself the reason why she implied what she did.
"We might have to stop at a Store on the way home. There is some things that I believe we have run out of." Kazuya said nervously and anxiously. "Like Milk, Butter and...And well other things." He blushed himself and Chizuru nodded as they made their way first to a nearby Convenience Store.
Mami's Rebellion:
Sitting at a Table in a Cafe with one other that sat across from her. Mami tried not to scowl, but she could not help but feel annoyed. She had heard from Kibe just yesterday that Kazuya and Chizuru were now actually married. So here she was sitting across from Chizuru as the other told her the devastating news. "All I have done. All that I tried to do to get them to end this and here they get Married. It has to be another lie." She thought as she tried to keep herself calm.
"So you have heard?" Chizuru asked and Mami slowly nodded.
"Yes. I have heard and tell me it is not another Ploy concocted by you and Kazu." Mami said and Chizuru smiled at her. Then shook her head as she held out her left hand outwards.
"Nope it is true. Do you want to see the Marriage Registration Form?" Chizuru replied having that in her purse. Her new Identification Card with her new Name on it had not arrived via the mail yet. So she carried around the copy of Marriage Registration Form. Mami shook her head.
"No that won't be necessary." Mami felt frustrated and doubted that Chizuru and Kazuya would go that far if they were not truly married. She did not like this. "Why should they have a happy ending when I cannot have one?" She muttered and thought that Chizuru had not heard her. But the other did.
"What do you mean by that?" Chizuru asked with some concern. Mami looked away.
"Nothing. You were not supposed to hear that." Mami let out an exasperated sigh. "Don't worry I won't interfere anymore with you and Kazuya." She was about to stand to leave.
"Wait. I know we are not friends or even close acquaintances. But if you need to talk to someone...Then I am more then willing to listen and help if I can." Chizuru said and Mami slowly lowered herself back onto the chair she had just stood up from.
"Why not? Why don't I tell you why I...Why I am the way that I am. Then maybe you will understand why...Why I did what I did." Mami said and with a deep breath then told Chizuru the whole thing. How her Father was forcing her to Marry a Dullard that she hated. How if she didn't her Father would be in serious financial and legal trouble. IF she did not Marry that Dullard then her Family would disown her. Cut her off completely. So she told Chizuru everything and afterwards Chizuru sat there shaking her head. "That is why I did everything I did. From dating Kazuya to dumping him and then wanting to make his life miserable. So you see I am a vindictive vengeful bitch that just wanted others to suffer because I am suffering." She told the other and Chizuru now understood fully why Mami had done the things she had done.
"This is not the past Mami. Where the head of the Family forces their children to Marry someone that they do not want to. From what you told me...Your Family is only concerned with themselves and not about you at all. Your Father only is concerned about himself and is basically selling you to someone to keep himself from getting into trouble." Chizuru finally said and Mami sat there in silence.
"Yeah they are. But what can I do? If I do not marry that...Then my family loses everything. You don't understand how deeply indebted my Father is. Economically and Legally. If I do not marry him. Then his Father will not continue aiding my Father and my Family. At minimal my Father could end up going to Jail." Mami said for she knew about everything her Father had done and what he was continuing to do. Embezzlement from his own Company, Tax evasion and some political bribing. All of that and a few other things that could utterly bankrupt her Family.
"Do you believe that your Father can get away with what he is doing forever. At some point you have to know he will get caught. Then what? You will be in a loveless Marriage. That is what you are saying it will be. I can tell you. I may be new to being married. But it is extremely wonderful to know my Husband Kazuya loves me. It is something i never thought would be possible or that I wanted it. But now that I do. I do not want anything to take that from me." Chizuru told her and Mami began to feel moisture form in her eyes.
"But what can I do? It is not like I really have a choice or any options." Mami asked and Chizuru laughed.
"What are you talking about? You are a year from getting your degree...A College Degree." Chizuru leaned closer so no one could possibly overhear her. "I am not saying this is ethical or moral...But couldn't you like...Maybe do the same thing your Father is doing?" She asked her and Mami narrowed her gaze at her.
"What are you talking about?" Mami asked and Chizuru smiled.
"Maybe acquire some Money and hide it away somewhere at the same time maybe find proof of everything he has illegally done. Take enough Money so that at a certain time...You just...Maybe turn your Father in to the Government." Chizuru suggested and Mami chuckled.
"Here I thought I was only one that is vindictive. You yourself are a little as well." Mami smiled and thought about it. She had access to everything. Her Father's personal Office at home had all the documentation and proof she needed. She also had three Debit Cards along with four Credit Cards in her Purse. She could easily take money out of all of them over a period of time and her Father would never know. Then there was the Money he kept in his Office as well. Millions of Yen sitting in a safe that she knew the Combination to. "You know you are right. Can you and Kazu help me?"
"How?" Chizuru asked back and Mami smiled.
"I can get the proof and the Money easy enough. Hiding it is another thing. I really do not have anywhere I could hide everything." Mami said and Chizuru bit her bottom lip.
"I really would not like having all that at my House. We live in a modestly safe area...But still I am betting you are talking about having us hang onto for you a lot of Money." Chizuru did not mention any of the Documentation Mami was going to take. "But I have an idea...You will have to pay for it through me or Kazuya. But what would you think about using one of my or Kazuya's old Apartments?" She suggested and Mami liked that idea.
"That could work. It would also give me a place to go when I bolt." Mami said and then they began thinking of a way for them to sneak everything to the Apartment. Using TV Shows and Movies as to how to secretly do hand offs and drops. Later that same day. Mami used one of her ATM Cards to pull out Twenty Thousand YEN and gave it to Chizuru to pay Five thousand for the Rent of her Old Apartment. Then stashed the rest in one of the Cabinet Doors in the Kitchen. The first amount of Money Mami then began to acquire.
That Weekend with everyone including her Brother out of the House. Mami went into her Father's Office and opened one of the file Cabinet doors. Inside was files and ledgers of all of his illegal activities. Taking the first one out, she went over to the Copy Machine her Father had in his Office. Added a Stack of blank paper to the feeder Tray and began to make copies. She had the idea to bring her own Paper so that her Father would never suspect anyone was making Copies. She knew her Father. He was a stickler for details and probably would know if someone used any of his Blank Paper from the Closet or the Copier. But since the Copier was an older version, she did not worry about it keeping a record of how many copies had been made. As the Copier ran, she went over to the Safe opened it and took out about one hundred thousand Yen. Then closed and relocked the safe. When she had everything copied from the top Drawer. She closed it and took what she had back to her Bedroom. There she packed the Copies into a small Normal Backpack and hide it in her Closet. Tomorrow she would take it with her and do a hand off with Kazuya. Who would have a Backpack that looked just like one she had. He would then take the Backpack to the Apartment and empty it. Putting all the Copied Pages into a storage box and putting the money with the rest. This was the process they did for the next Month. At that point she had copies of everything in her Father's Office and about Fifteen Million Yen squirreled away.
At the Apartment that once was Chizuru's and now was her secret Storage and Hideaway. Mami rested on the Futon that Kazuya had put in the room. She guessed it had to have been his when he lived next door and had donated to her to use. She had come here to get a few hours of alone time. To rest and make sure everything was copasetic and good to go. When the time came, she would officially stay here until everything settled down and she could seek out her own Apartment somewhere else. Though she was consider staying here. She felt safe and comfortable here. Later with Kazuya and Chizuru they were going to secretly meet up with a Government Agent that they had talked to several times before. She had already provided the Agent with enough Documentation to at least annoy her Father with defending himself from the Internal Revenue Agency on why he paid insufficient Taxes the last five years. The Evidence that would ruin him sat ready in the Corner of the Room all set to be given to the Agent when the time was right. Which was quickly approaching. The moment she did that. She would be staying here and not going back home ever again. The only thing that would make this entire escapade perfect was if she could be with Kazuya. But she had blown her chance of that long ago. So she would settle on being his and his Wife's friend.
Wedding Day Highs:
Within the Bathroom of the Church, Chizuru bent over the Toilet in the Bride's Dressing room. Vomiting for several minutes and when finally done. She stood to brush her teeth and Gargled some Minty Mouthwash. No way wanting to have it where Kazuya kissed her at the end of the Ceremony and he tasting her vomit on her breath. Stepping out of the Bathroom she found Nagomi, Harumi and Sumi all waiting for her. "Are you alright...Dear?" Harumi asked her and Chizuru smiled.
"Just fine. Sorry you had to hear that." Chizuru said as she went over to inspect her Wedding Gown. It was the same one her Grandmother had worn when she married her Grandfather. Altered to fit her perfectly two months ago. Though at present it was a little snug around the belly.
"It is fine. Though I have to wonder why you would be so ill." Nagomi said handing Chizuru the veil of her Wedding Gown that she now had on.
"That is strange. It is almost like...No you can't be experiencing Morning Sickness." Harumi said and Chizuru smirked at the two. For Sumi already knew the reason.
"I am. I have been for the past week or so." Chizuru said and the two gasped loudly.
"WHAT! Are you saying...Are you pregnant?" Nagomi asked and Chizuru smiled coyly then nodded.
"Yep." Chizuru replied and the two were on her before she could stop them. They both were laughing, crying and hugging her all at once.
"How did this happen? No we know how it happens...But how did this happen? Aren't you two being careful?" Harumi asked and Chizuru exhaled with a deep sigh.
"Well I think it happened when...At the end of the Taping...The Director reserved Hotel Rooms for everyone. Now you have to understand...Me and Kazuya have not for almost three weeks and...And we did not have any...You know." Chizuru blushed and had to use a wet wipe to wipe away the sweat that formed on her forehead. "Kazuya was willing to go get some...But I was...Enthused and...It happened." She finished telling them and felt a completely embarrassed over the fact that it was her fault.
"Does he know?" Nagomi asked and Chizuru nodded. "And neither of you did not tell us immediately." She growled ready and willing to go punish Kazuya for not telling her.
"We wanted it to be a surprise. Like right now was a good time to tell you." Chizuru said and then was enveloped in another series of hugs. All that was left for them was to get through the Wedding Ceremony and everything would be perfect.
