Plot:
It has been just over two months since Chizuru completed her Investigation and now she and Kazuya are an official Couple. During their time together, she has been in four Commercials and is about to be in an Actual Paid Movie. So for the next two weeks until filming starts she has gone out with Kazuya on Real Dates. While Kazuya has been approached by several of her Acting School Classmates and others to help make their own Crowdfunding Movie. Which they are paying him between 20,000 Yen to 30,000 Yen to help them.
The Date:
Today it was her turn to come up with what they would do on their date. So Chizuru decided upon something that he had them do before. But this time it would be her coming up with the list of activities that she wanted to do with her boyfriend. She had not told him and at the time would never have told him. But she also missed out on going on any Dates when she was in High School. Being able to wear her Uniform again and going on a Date was something she also wanted to do ever since she attended High School. But due to that most of the Boys that asked her out then were only interested in her because they basically wanted to get in between her legs and nothing else. She never got to experience what it would be like to go somewhere in her Uniform with her Boyfriend. She did not count where one of her past Clients wanted her to wear her School Uniform. Because they were not her real Boyfriend and Kazuya now was. She stood outside the door of his Room and impatiently waited.
"What is taking you so long...Kazuya?" Chizuru asked towards the door and she heard a thud within.
"Sorry...Can't find my...Ah there it is." Kazuya said and then after a moment came to the door wearing his own High School Uniform. "I couldn't find my tie and it of course was in the last place I looked." Chizuru chuckled.
"Of course it was...And look...It is crooked and loose." Chizuru straightened his tie and tightened it up so that it did not look so sloppy. Though that was her boyfriend. He generally was a sloppy person. Which she found now enduring where before she hated it. Remembering a number of times she had commented about how cluttered his Apartment usually was. Then she noticed he was again leering at her. "You are staring at me. Again." She said pretending to be exasperated at how he was looking at her and Kazuya smiled.
"Can't help it...You look so incredibly cute in your School Uniform." Kazuya said truthfully and Chizuru smiled at him.
"Well you look...Dashing in yours." Chizuru said back and then gestured towards the door. "Shall we go?"
"So where are we going on this School Uniform Date?" kazuya asked back and Chizuru smiled coyly at him.
"Where else...The Tokyo Dome City of course. I want to do a Redo of that Date." Chizuru said and they headed for the Train Station Depot. In route Kazuya noticed several men openly staring at Chizuru and he was used to it. Where ever Chizuru went men looked at her. Made comments about how they wished that they could have a Girlfriend as cute as she was. What he found interesting was Chizuru simply ignored all of the other men. Even when they made comments about how she could do so much better then him. Once at the Train Station Depot that was near the Tokyo Dome City, she took his right hand in her left and they departed the Train.
"So what is on the antennary for today?" Kazuya asked reminding her about when he had made one for when they had the Rental Date here. She smiled at him.
"Everything I wanted to do here and a couple of things we already did. With a couple of changes." Chizuru told him and then led him along towards what she wanted to do first. The Arcade and right to the Photo Booth. Which was something they had done the last time they had been here. Inside the booth, it began with all of the poses that they had done before. This time though there was no nervous hesitation and neither had a problem doing any of them. Even when the Booth told them to kiss. When done, Chizuru waited for the Pictures to come out and this time she decided she did not care if current ASU North Students came upon them. She looked over at Kazuya. "I never told you...But remember the last time when we had to leave before getting the Pictures." He let out a sigh.
"Yeah...That really sucked. I even called here the following day...They told me that usually they hang on to them for twenty four hours. But someone already took them by the time I called." Kazuya said with a hint of disappointment. Believing some pervert took them because of some sorted reason. Chizuru chuckled.
"That is because I came back after we parted and got them." Chizuru told him and he gave her a confused look. "What? I wanted them just as much as you probably did. Actually at first I intended to give a couple of them to you...But after I got them...I decided to just keep them myself." At that moment the Pictures came out and she quickly took them. Then after they both thoroughly looked at them. She put them in her Jacket Pocket. "Okay...On to what I want to do next." She stated and after taking his right hand in hers. She led him over to one of the Claw Machines. "Do you think my Boyfriend can win me a Stuffy?" She asked him and he smiled.
A few minutes later, Chizuru held a Kitty Cat Purple and White Stuffy with her right arm and Kazuya's hand possessively with her left. In route to the next item on her list. "Here? Are you serious?" Kazuya asked as they got in line to the HAUNTED HOUSE Ride. She smiled at him.
"It was this or the TUNNEL OF LOVE. I decided to go with something not so so obvious...Oh I get it. You are worried that you might get scared in there." Chizuru said and Kazuya chuckled as he shook his head.
"I doubt it. But I didn't think you would be into this type of thing." Kazuya said as he and Chizuru sat down in the two person ride car. Entering the Haunted House and within moments Chizuru pretended to be afraid of the sudden arrival of a Monster and she clung to him even more. Giving out a small squeal of fright and Kazuya knew it was all pretend. She held his right arm pressing her face into his upper arm. From there it did not take much for her to edge closer and kiss him. They missed the rest of the ride as they made out. Only stopping when they neared the exit doors for the ride. "Well that was...nice." He commented and she smiled.
The last thing on the agenda was the FERRIS WHEEL again. Though this time, Chizuru sat next to Kazuya. She leaned her head onto his left shoulder and let out a sigh. "So how was this redo of our date here?" She asked and Kazuya smiled at her.
"Just like last time...This was perfect. I am glad that we got to do this again." Kazuya said and Chizuru took his right arm and put it over her shoulder. Still holding his hand as she leaned closer against him. She closed her eyes and sighed.
"Now this was what I wished we did last time." Chizuru said and Kazuya let out a soft chuckle.
"Yeah me too...But then...You made it obviously clear that you had no...Well feelings for me other then being one of your Clients." Kazuya said and Chizuru let out another sigh this time it sounded louder.
"Oh come on Kazuya...You should have paid more attention. Don't you think it was odd that I there was a number of times that I was not exactly pleased with how other girls were interested in you. For example think about back when Mami came to your Apartment and we had to hide. Do you think that I would have been that upset when I demanded to know why she had come to your Apartment. If you were nothing but one of my Clients." Chizuru told him and Kazuya thought back to then. She had acted just like a very jealous Girlfriend that just caught her Boyfriend being unfaithful. It then dawned upon him the other times that she had acted jealous. Most of those where subtle and not as obvious as then.
"I guess not. I would like to know...Why didn't you...?" Kazuya asked knowing Chizuru would answer without him going into to much detail.
"Because I really did not want to fall for you Kazuya. That is what took me so long to investigate my feelings for you. It came down to something...my Grandmother...Asked me once when I sought advice from her." Chizuru still had a hard time mentioning her Grandmother and Kazuya easily could hear that. "When I asked her what it felt like to truly be in love. She asked me back...Can I foresee a future where you are not in it. Where I am not with you? That was what convinced me that I did want that future with you." She told him and Kazuya gave her hand a gentle squeeze of affection. She smiled at him. "I really do love you Kazuya."
"I really do love you too Chizuru." Then Kazuya noticed that the ride was about to come to an end. "So is this must be the end of what you wanted to do on your turn. I guess I will have to think of something just as great when it is my turn." He said as they walked back to the Train Station to head home.
Christmas:
Hell is trying to find something for someone that was now special to her and she have no idea what to get him. That was what Chizuru was going through. Hell. Sure the last time she got Kazuya something. It was for his Birthday and she had the help of his Grandmother Nagomi and his Mother Harumi to give her advice. This time though she wanted to do it without any help. Especially since on her Birthday he gave her something that was now so dear to her that she had to reciprocate in a way to prove she felt the same about him. He had taken a Photo of her Grandmother, Grandfather and her. A Painting done by a Professional Artist. Which now hung in the Living Room of the House. She wanted something that would be fully her idea and to show how much she did love him. "Guess I can't just go to the 200 Yen Store like I did when I was a Rental Girlfriend and got Christmas Gifts for my Clients." She muttered seeing the store just ahead of her. She found it funny that Kazuya did not realize that he was the only one that she spent an exprobrate amount of time and asking Umi for help for her to get his Phone Case. Inside a Large Department Store, she walked along trying to find that special gift that would suddenly speak out and say...THIS...THIS IS IT!. But nothing did that and she continued onward searching for the right gift. What made it even worse for her was that Kazuya had already found something and it was at the moment under their Christmas Tree. As she searched. She did not even notice when two people approached her.
"Hi Chizuru." Shiori said cheerfully and Chizuru turned to see her two friends standing there before her.
"Hi Shiori...Hi Umi...Merry Christmas." Chizuru said and the two smiled at her.
"Merry Christmas. So are you doing some last minute Christmas Shopping? We noticed you going from store to store." Shiori asked and Chizuru frowned.
"Call it more like last minute desperation Christmas Shopping. I have not been able to find the perfect gift for Kazuya. One that tells him...Or shows him how I feel about him." Chizuru said and her two friends chuckled.
"Want some help in looking for something for him?" Shiori offered and Chizuru shook her head.
"No thanks...I want to be able to find it myself. This is not like his Birthday where I got help from his Grandmother and Mother. I want to find it all by myself." Chizuru said again thinking about the Gift he had given to her on her Birthday. She wanted to find something just as thoughtful as that. Then low and behold there it was. She found it just as she was about to walk away. Rushing over to it, she glanced at the Price Tag and smiled happily. It was a little over the agreed upon amount she had with Kazuya. But at that moment she did not care. She held it up and laughed triumphantly. "This is it. I found it." She announced and hurriedly went inside to buy it. Coming out both Shiori and Umi looked at her oddly.
"You do know what that is...Don't you?" Umi asked trying not to laugh and failing miserably. Chizuru looked over to see the same expression on Shiori.
"Yes I know exactly what this is and it is perfect for him. It is even is the right size." Chizuru said with a huge smile as she walked over to where they were giftwrapping Presents professionally.
On Christmas Eve, Kazuya looked from his gift to Chizuru to hers to him. The size comparison was vastly different. His wrapped Gift to her was about five inches long and barely a half inch high. While Chizuru's gift to him was about a foot on every side. He exhaled with a sigh as he frowned. "You know size does not matter." Chizuru commented from the couch as he set his back under the Christmas Tree. He looked over at her and grimaced.
"Don't say that. It sounds as if...If something of mine is inadequate." Kazuya said with a hint towards something else and Chizuru instantly understood.
"As to that...You are quite adequate. No I meant the Presents. Mine is bigger because it is bigger that is all there is to it." Chizuru said as Kazuya joined her on the Couch. She took hold of his left hand in her right and interlaced her fingers into his. Then leaned her head onto his left shoulder.
"Just think this is our first Christmas together as a couple. A real one." Kazuya said and Chizuru smiled.
"Yes it is." Chizuru said happily. "You are not going to cry again are you?" She asked him and he winced. Then shook his head.
"No." Kazuya sighed. "Well maybe." They both laughed and after another hour went to bed.

On Christmas Morning, Chizuru and Kazuya awoke about the same time and they went to the Kitchen and in route to the Table. She turned on the Coffee Maker. They had both stayed up late and ended up waking up early. So both of them required Caffeine before they did anything else. Which included opening Christmas Presents. Well the two that were there. Later they would both carry the ones for his Grandmother and Parents to their house. Where there would be presents from his Family for Chizuru and Kazuya to open. While they drank their Coffee, she flipped a coin to see who would open their gifts to each other first and Kazuya won. So as he carefully opened the Wrapped Present, she silently encouraged him to hurry up. When he finally opened it he pulled the Gift out of the box and stared at it. "Whoa." He said wide eyed as he looked at the Green Coat with Hood. Flipping it around to see an Dolphin with an American Football Helmet on it. He smiled broadly as he held it at arms length.
"Do you like it?" Chizuru asked and Kazuya nodded enthusiastically.
"Yeah...I love it. I am not into American Football...But still this is awesome." Kazuya leaned over and kissed Chizuru with a loud smack on the lips. She smiled as he put on the Coat and zipped it up. Then he reached down and picked up the gift he got for her. She did not take her time like Kazuya had opening her Present. She tore the paper off and then opened the small box and she smiled broadly. Taking out a bracelet with four different Charms on it. One was a Thespian Mask with one face laughing and the other looked like it was crying. Another was of a small gold and silver horseshoe. Another was Heart with both her and his Initials on it and the last was a Ying Yang symbol. She put it on her left wrist.
"Do you like it?" Kazuya asked her and Chizuru smiled. Then leaned over and kissed him with a loud smack on his lips. Just like he did.
"I love it." Chizuru said as they sat down next to each other. Small tears began to flow down her cheeks and Kazuya looked over at her seeing the tears.
"Are you alright?" Kazuya asked with concern and Chizuru smiled at him.
"Yes. It is just...My Grandmother was right about...If it was not for you...I would be alone this Christmas." Chizuru said happily and leaned against him. Then she glanced over at the clock and sighed. "Another two hours and we have to...You do know your Mother and your Grandmother are going to pester us about...The usual." She heard Kazuya groan.
"Oh yeah they will...A lot. You would think they would be happy enough that we are together. Do you still have the Ring?" Kazuya asked and Chizuru used her left hand to pull at a gold chain necklace around her neck. There on it was the Ring that his Grandmother had forced her to take.
"Yep...Right here." Chizuru said and thought about the number of times she had put it on to use as a deterrent against Men hitting on her. She used to just use that she had a Boyfriend and his name was Kazuya. But she found that if she subtly mentioned that she was engaged worked a lot better. Now her having a Boyfriend was true. Her being engaged was not. "Not yet anyhow." She whispered with a small coy smile. With a deep exhaled sigh she slowly stood. "Okay...We better get changed and head towards..." He stood as well and they both went back into the Bedroom to get dressed.
On the way Kazuya got a text from Jonathan Anderson or rather Johnny and Bai. (Bai Mongfa: Borrowed her from Renia Flops.) The text wished him and Chizuru a Merry Christmas. He showed it to Chizuru who smiled. "Send back that we will come by later for a visit. Oh and Wish them also a Merry Christmas." She told him and he did.
"You know we owe them a lot. If it was not for Johnny and Bai...then I doubt...Well I doubt you would have..." Kazuya looked over at Chizuru who shook her head.
"I would have eventually...Not as soon as I did. I was so conflicted and confused. But yeah we do owe him and his wife a lot. Because I would continued being conflicted and confused." Chizuru admitted and the two walked together holding hands. Both remembering the advice first Johnny had given and later the advice Bai had given to both of them.
The Moment of Clarity:
Dropping his Bag on the Floor, Kazuya looked around his sparse Apartment. He would have to move the rest of his things later. Which meant getting his Fish Tanks and just about everything else from his Parents House where it had been stored for the last month. When he got the Text from the Apartment Manager that the Apartment Building had been repaired. He did not wait until Chizuru came back to the House to tell him that it was time for him to move out. To leave. He did not want to go through that when she did tell him to leave. Instead he packed what he had there and simply left. Going out to the Balcony, he stood there and could not help but know that he probably would not see Chizuru from now on. At some point she would finish her Investigation and determine that she did not feel the same about him that he felt about her. That he was in love with her. What he did not know was Chizuru was right now in her Apartment. Mustering up her gumption and courage to ask him to move back to the House. She had returned home at the House to find his Note telling her that he was moving back into his Apartment. It took her ten minutes to come to the conclusion that she did not want him to move out or move back to his Apartment. So she went to ask him to move back. On his Balcony, Kazuya breathed in the cool fresh air and was about to go back inside when he heard someone on the Balcony to the right of him next door.
"Is that you Johnny or is it Bai?" Kazuya asked in Western American English and then heard a soft laugh.
"Yep...It is me. We just got back this Morning." Johnny said his English not much better then his Japanese. "So how are you doing Kid? I thought you and Chizuru were...Didn't you move into her house with her?" The other asked and Kazuya exhaled with a sigh.
"Yes I did. But with the Apartment's Repaired and we can move back in. I knew Chizuru was going to ask me to leave...So I just did before she could." Kazuya replied sorrowfully and Johnny easily heard it.
"That was kinda stupid...Listen Kid...No one knows what a woman is going to do or not do. Me personally half the time I have no idea what Bai is going to do or tell me. I stopped trying to second guess her about a month after we got hitched." Johnny told him and Kazuya decided he finally was going to ask about something that had bothered him ever since meeting Johnathan and Bai a few months ago when they moved in next door.
"Can I ask you something?" Kazuya asked and could not see his neighbor nod.
"Sure go ahead Kid." Johnny replied and Kazuya leaned closer to the dividing wall.
"How the...How did you ever get Bai to...I mean you are not...She is so far out of your league it is...Ridiculous." Kazuya said comparing Johnny and Bai. She was a multi-Bilingual Language Teacher. While he was a Security Consultant that Consulted at Various Major Companies. They were complete opposites. Johnny laughed loudly.
"How did I a meager looking dude somehow ended up with an extremely beautiful and attractive Woman like her? Is that what you are asking?" Johnny asked back and then he laughed again. "Beats the hell out of me. That is what I was saying earlier...Women are...mysterious. There ain't no point trying to figure one out especially when it comes to us men." He told him and Kazuya believed he was in the same boat as Johnny. Chizuru was just as beautiful and attractive as Bai and here he was average looking like Johnny. But the latter had somehow dated and married Bai. He wanted to know how Johnny had done that. Then he heard the Balcony Door open and his Neighbor was joined by another. Earlier neither Kazuya or Johnny heard Chizuru's Balcony door open as she eavesdropped on what the two men were talking about.
"So what are you two talking about out here?" Bai asked as she re-shut the Balcony Door and Kazuya got a whiff of her exotic perfume. She usually wore the same perfume and it was a strange scent of roses and vanilla.
"Well it seems the Kid here is having a little trouble with...Women. Or rather one in particular." Johnny said and Bai giggled.
"Oh is that all. Don't tell me...You and Chizuru are still not together yet. This has been going on since we left for that vacation back to the United States." Bai said hinting towards where they had decided to take a Vacation while the Apartments were being repaired. "What seems to be the problem?" She asked and Kazuya let out a loud sigh.
"The problem is that...Even though I love her...She does not...She does not feel the same about me. In fact I believe that she...Will never feel the same. I might as well give up and...And...Just try to go on without her." Kazuya sobbed sorrowfully and both Johnny and Bai tried to think of something to console him. But before they could say anything. Someone else did.
"HOW CAN YOU EVEN SAY THAT!" A voice said loudly and everyone could tell that it was Chizuru. Without warning she started to climb around the Dividing Wall. But slipped and began to fall onto Kazuya's side of the Balcony. Kazuya tried to catch her and as he did. She landed squarely on top of him, knocking him backwards onto the Floor with her completely on top of him with a thud.
"Hey are you two alright over there?" Johnny asked with concern as he and Bai moved closer trying to see around the Dividing Wall.
"We are fine. Now Kazuya...How could you say that?" They heard Chizuru demand and after a few moments Kazuya answered.
"It is true..Isn't it? You don't and probably won't. Now could you get off me." Kazuya said and Chizuru scowled at him.
"Not until I am done. Now listen you...You idiot. You just move out of my House without...even...I...You don't know how hard it is for me to...I never felt this way about anyone before..." Chizuru wanted to tell him everything she felt and thought. But she just could not come up with the right words to say it. Thankfully Bai was there.
"Chizuru...Just go with something simple like...That you love him. That will be enough." Bai suggested and Chizuru smiled as tears ran down her cheeks.
"I guess that will work...Yes Kazuya I love you. Be mine forever." Chizuru said softly to him and then kissed him. At that moment Johnny and Bai decided to go back into their own Apartment. Letting the two work out the details all by themselves.
The Present: Christmas Afternoon
"We definitely need to stop for a visit and thank them." Chizuru said as they neared the Kinoshita Family Home.
The End and the Beginning
