Information:

This will have a different type of setting. In this Story it has a theme based off Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs. In this story the Girls that attend the Tokyo Academy are Nobles and have the ability to use Magic. The Boys are also Nobles but are training at the Academy to become Knights.

In this tale, Chizuru Grandmother Sayuri is a Baroness. But does not have any holdings that give them any Money. Because Sayuri was an accomplished Movie Star Actress. She does have some assets. Due to Chizuru also wanting to become an Actress and not use any of her Grandmothers Money. She works part time as a Rental Girlfriend. So she can fund her dream of also becoming an Accomplished Actress. While she attends the Academy to be a Level 4 Mage.

Now as for Kazuya, his family are Merchants and are not Nobles. But Kazuya is extremely skilled with the Sword and a year prior had won the International Swordsmanship Competition. Due to that even though he is considered a Commoner. He was given a scholarship to attend the Academy with the prospect of becoming a Knight. Though there are some that believe that he could be the next Sword Saint. A position that has not been awarded to someone in almost fifty years.

The second reason why both Girls and Guys go to the Academy is to Meet, Court and Marry someone of equal or higher Station then themselves.

Prior to First Rental Date:

Using a minor bit of Magic. Chizuru levitated her books from the Table to her. She then used it to turn off the lights in her small Studio Apartment. Pulling on her coat as the Books hovered a few inches in front of her. She was now ready to head for her Classes. Today it was Literary Arts and Magic Manipulation studies. In route she saw others walking towards the Campus and the Girls were there to become Mages while the Boys were there to become Belted Knights. As she walked, she was joined by her two best friends. Shinbo and Kawanaka. Both were like her. Children of a Baron or Baroness. They had all headed for the Campus early so they could watch a Duel that was going to take place today. Just like everyone else that was heading for the Campus. Everyone was eager to watch the duel. Like all the duels prior. A Teacher for the Academy was there to Referee and make sure no one was seriously injured. Along with making sure that the Duel was conducted within the rules. Though either getting injured was rare due to that the combatants generally used Practice Wooden Swords for the Duel and not real Swords.

"Hurry Chizuru...Shinbo. Let's get there so we can get a good spot to watch." Kawanaka said urging them to walk a little faster.

"Who is fighting this time?" Chizuru asked and Shinbo smiled.

"It is that Commoner and...Honji Taranka...The Son of Baron Jinju Taranka." Shinbo told her and Chizuru exhaled with a sigh. She then shook her head.

"We all know that Taranka does not stand a chance against...Hey. Do either of you know what the others name is?" Chizuru asked and both of her friends shook their heads.

"Well I did hear that he was the one that won the International Swordsmanship Competition last year." Shinbo said and both of her friends turned towards her.

"It is him...Whoa." Kawanaka said then laughed. "Yeah...I doubt that Taranka stands much of a chance against...Oh what was his name. It is on the tip of my tongue." She tried valiantly to remember. "I do know that a lot of higher Nobles were upset that he won. They kept claiming he cheated."

"His name was or is...Kazuya...Kazuya Kinoshita. My Grandma really rooting for him to win as we watched the Competition on TV." Chizuru informed them as they neared where the Duel was going to be held. In the center of the crowd of Students and Teachers was a Ten or Twelve Meter Circle. Within the circle was Honji and Kazuya. Both held Wooden Practice Swords and there was a Teacher about to go over the rules. The main one was that there would be no interference or aid to both combatants from anyone observing the Duel. Which would be considered cheating. At that point the two Men saluted each other with the Wooden Swords and the Duel started. Cheers and encouragements erupted around the duelists. All of them for Honji and not Kazuya. Though anyone watching could tell that Honji was outmatched. That is until Kazuya seemed to suddenly become sluggish. Chizuru noticed it as did her friends. A Blonde Girl off to one side had her left hand slightly raised and had a real vindictive smile on her face.

"She is casting magic on him. I would guess it some type of Hinderance Spell." Shinbo whispered to Chizuru and Kawanaka. Who both nodded. Chizuru looked over towards the Teacher slash Referee.

"The Teacher sees it and is purposely ignoring her doing that." Chizuru whispered to her friends.

"Yeah and just about everyone sees it too." Kawanaka said and all three wondered if one of the other Teachers would say something or do something. Since it was clearly obvious that Honji and whoever the girl was were clearly cheating. But that did not matter for within a few moments the duel ended with Kazuya being victorious. He had knocked Honji's sword out of his hand and now was pointing the tip of the Wooden Sword directly under Honji's chin. Then looked over at the Blonde Girl who lowered her left hand. Scowling in frustration and anger.

"Do you idiots think you are the first ones to ever try that? It would take a lot more then that to cause me to lose against someone as inept as you. Though what you two did could be considered cheating during a Duel." Kazuya stated and then glared over at the Teacher who was the Referee. The Elder Man smirked and simply shrugged.

"I have no idea what you are talking about...Commoner." The Teacher said with a sneer. Then had no choice but to declare Kazuya as the winner. Kazuya lowered his Practice Sword and then threw it at the Teacher's feet. He then walked away and those gathered there parted out of his way. Chizuru could easily hear some very explicit rude comments from those he passed. Even from where she was standing a good twenty feet away.

"You know I feel sorry for him. He is not really treated well. Even though he was the International Champion last year." Shinbo said softly to Chizuru and Kawanaka.

Later that day and after Chizuru had finished her Classes. She checked her Rental Girlfriend Account. A new Client had requested a date for tomorrow. Since she did not have any other Bookings. She decided to accept the Rental Date.

The Fated Date:

In her Persona as Chizuru Mizuhara a Noble Lady. Chizuru arrived at the Aquarium with a good ten minutes to spare. The person that had rented her did not put his name in the request. But that was not uncommon. A lot of her usual Clients did not put their names on the request. Though as she arrived and as soon as she saw who her Client for the date was. She identified him instantly. It was Kazuya Kinoshita.

"Are you...Are you Milady Mizuhara?" Kazuya asked and Chizuru nodded.

"I need to ask...Is this some type of retribution...I know who you are and I know about you being at the Academy? I am worried and concerned that you requested me to have some type of...Well revenge against Nobles?" Chizuru asked as she prepared some defensive spells just in case. He shook his head.

"No...No not at all. Milady. I just...I just thought you were...Well pretty and...I did not notice you were a Noble until after I made the request." Kazuya admitted and Chizuru smiled.

"Thank you for the compliment. Oh, and you don't have to be so formal...After all we are on a date. You can call me Chizuru or if you have to Mizuhara." Chizuru told him and Kazuya finally smiled. "Now you booked me for four hours...That will be Eight Silvers...Is that alright? If not we can cancel and you can put in a request for...A non-Noble. They usually only charge one silver." She told him and he handed her eight silver coins.

"It's fine. Mil...Chizuru." Kazuya said her name reluctantly. Feeling like he was committing some type of infraction by addressing a Noble by her first name. But Chizuru smiled warmly at him.

"Shall we...Go inside Kazuya." Chizuru suggested and then reached over with her right hand to clasp his left in hers. Though before they could actually enter. Kazuya was recognized by a couple of other patrons and he was approached for selfies and autographs. It took about twenty minutes for him to finish.

"Sorry about that." Kazuya said feeling a little embarrassed over the whole thing. Chizuru chuckled.

"No that is alright. You are famous after all. My Grandmother told me it is really spectacular and uncommon for a...Non-Noble to win or even participate in Competitions." Chizuru said and Kazuya let out a deep sigh.

"Yeah that is the problem. I am not a Noble so a good fraction in the Nobility believes I am unworthy. That I should have not won the Competiton or when I did not accept the Medal or the Money." Kazuya said sullenly and Chizuru could understand. To some of the Nobles for a commoner to be better than any of the Knights he faced during the Competitions was a major taboo.

"I saw you duel yesterday. I cannot believe that the Teacher allowed that girl to...Cheat." Chizuru had been curious about that. Normally the Teachers were sticklers for the rules and Chivalrous behavior.

"Oh I thought I recognized you." Kazuya said and Chizuru paled. Gasping loudly as she spun towards him. Then noticed that he was valiantly trying not to laugh. She laughed as well.

"That...Very funny. You had me thinking you somehow did see me in that crowd." Chizuru said still laughing somewhat over him teasing her. There had to be over three hundred students and teachers there. So him actually seeing her was virtually impossible. That and she in no way looked like what she looked like now. Not with Braided Pigtails and with her glasses on.

"As for why that...Her name is Mami Nanami...We sort of dated for over a Month. She is a Baronette's Daughter. So I thought perhaps...She did like me...Since it is not uncommon for a Baronette to become involved with...A commoner." Kazuya told her and then he let out a long sigh. "Truth is she used me to make Taranka jealous enough to...She just was using me. She did not like it that I made it look like her dumping me affected me that much. She wanted me to be devastated over her dumping me."

"Ah so in her mind you insulted her ego." Chizuru said and Kazuya nodded. "Can I ask? Why endure all the hardships you are facing going to the Academy? You could go to other Tournaments and after some time...Retire as a Sword Master." She asked and Kazuya chuckled.

"I plan on becoming or being recognized as the Sword Saint someday." Kazuya stated and Chizuru gasped loudly. Staring over at him in utter shock.

"What are you insane? Do you realize how hard it would be for you...I mean the Trials and the Challenges that it would take for...Are you insane?" Chizuru asked almost too loudly and Kazuya shrugged.

"Yeah I do. But I want to gain that title. To prove that a Commoner can be more than just a Commoner. That means I want to become the Sword Saint." Kazuya told her and Chizuru found herself really liking him. So she told him about her desire and goal on becoming an Actress just like her Grandmother. To her the four hours went by too quickly.

Would you like to be My Neighbor:

Normally Chizuru would sleep until about 8 AM. But today for some reason she awoke about two hours earlier. Due to her somewhat hectic routine of going to Classes at the Academy. Then going to her Acting Class and then going on a Rental Date. She did not usually get up this early. But she did and after getting some Coffee she went out to her Balcony to watch the Sun rise. At that moment she discovered just who one of her neighbors was. It was Kazuya. As she looked down into the back yard of the Apartment Complex from the second floor. She saw him training with a Wooden Sword. He had his shirt off and she found herself admiring his well-toned physique. "Wow...Me Likey." She whispered and then shook her head. "No...Not supposed to be...impressed by that." She told herself but still she could not help but watch him as he trained. About an hour later and before he noticed her leering at him. She went inside her own Apartment. Then to her shock a few minutes later she heard the Apartment door open and close. Next door to hers. "Wait is he my next door neighbor?" Realizing she had never really had a chance to meet any of her Neighbors due to her schedule.

That morning Chizuru waited until she heard his door open, before she actually left herself. Wanting to pretend that they just bumped into each other. Though she was a bit confused on why she wanted to do that. "Isn't this a coincidence." She said over to him as she stepped out of her Apartment and he looked over at her oddly.

"Do I know you? You do look vaguely familiar." Kazuya asked and Chizuru chuckled.

"It is me...Chizuru Mizuhara. Or rather Chizuru Ichonise. I use Mizuhara when I work as a Rental." Chizuru told him still somewhat confused on why she outed herself to him. Normally she tried to keep it a secret that she was a Rental Girlfriend.

"Oh sorry...Milady...You just look completely different than the other day. I did not recognize you." Kazuya quickly said and Chizuru shook her head.

"Don't be so formal...Kazuya. Just call me Chizuru." Chizuru told Kazuya.

"Okay...Chizuru." Kazuya said nervously and again Chizuru shook her head. Though she could understand why he had trouble with not calling her Milady. Generally it was a huge taboo for a commoner to address a Noble by anything but Milady or Milord. It was even a bigger taboo to call them by their first names. It was being too familiar with someone of higher station. "I did not know you were my next-door neighbor. I actually thought that Apartment was vacant."

"Yeah well...With Classes at the Academy. My Acting Class and my Job. I start out early and come home late." Chizuru gestured towards the Campus. "Shall we walk together to the Academy?" She asked and he inhaled sharply.

"I do not think that would be a good idea. It would be...If you are seen with me...Some of the others might...Look down on you. It could affect your social standings and any chance of being courted." Kazuya said sullenly and Chizuru shrugged.

"They already look down on me. Kazuya I may be a Baroness's Granddaughter...But my Grandmother has no holdings. So I am not exactly approached by any Suitors. In truth I am not approached by any Suitors that want to be Married to me." Chizuru smiled and shrugged again. "That is why it is so easy for me to be a Rental Girlfriend. I do not have to worry about my social status." She did not tell him that it was the same for her two friends. Neither of their families had any holdings. Only personal fortunes earned through hard work or by some other means. "I do not mind being shunned by those spoiled Aristocrats. Us being seen walking together does not bother me in the least."

"It should. I have two friends that are Sons of Baronett's. I have known them since I was five or six. But they cannot even acknowledge me in public over fear of how others would view them." Kazuya told her and Chizuru frowned.

"You know if they were truly your friends then they would not let someone else dictate who their friends are." Chizuru stated and Kazuya chuckled.

"But they are my friends and I asked them to not publicly let it be known. Both Kibe and Kuri both...Oh that is their names. I convinced them if they were going to have any chance of becoming involved with perhaps someone higher in station then them. Then they need to not let it be known that we are friends." Kazuya then looked over at her. "It should be the same with you. Being seen with me could really negatively affect your chances of finding a Suitor."

"I will have you know...My Grandmother married a Commoner. She met my Grandfather when she was Acting in a Movie. So...I really do not care if...None of those at the Academy want to Court me or not." Chizuru told him and Kazuya stumbled after hearing that. He had never heard of a Noble that would even say something like that. Then he realized it was too late to convince her not to be seen walking with him. For he was so engrossed into their conversation that he had not noticed that they had walked onto the Campus already and were getting some odd and disapproving scowls and looks from most of the Students. All but two girls that came bounding up towards Chizuru. Both smiled at her and then over at him. "Morning Shinbo...Morning Kawanaka." She said to them.

"Morning Chizuru." The two Girls said together.

"Oh let me introduce you. This is Shinbo and this is Kawanaka...They are my friends. Guys this is..." Chizuru was about to introduce Kazuya but Shinbo cut her off.

"Oh we know...Kazuya Kinoshita. You won the International Championship last year. So say could I have your autograph?" Shinbo asked and Chizuru groaned and felt embarrassed over her friend asking that. Then felt more embarrassed a few seconds later.

"Yeah I would like one too." Kawanaka said and again Chizuru groaned. After Kazuya signed the autographs and took a couple of Selfies.

"You know you guys are embarrassing to be with." Chizuru said and turned towards Kazuya. "Sorry about them being so...So embarrassing." Kazuya smiled and shook his head.

"No that is alright. Remember you already experienced...It happens almost everywhere I go." Kazuya said and then noticed Chizuru's slight grimace.

"Wait...Wait. Does that mean you two hung out together before this. Maybe gone on...A Date?" Kawanaka asked excitingly and Chizuru groaned again. Decding to be truthful.

"Yes we went on a date. Got a problem with that?" Chizuru asked sternly and her two friends laughed. Shaking their heads.

"No not at all. In fact that is great." Shinbo stated and then Kazuya realized that others had heard Chizuru.

"Uhm...Maybe you should not have admitted that Chizuru." Kazuya gestured towards the others around them and Chizuru smiled coyly.

"Who cares what they think." Chizuru turned towards some of those that were giving both her and Kazuya distained looks. "I went out with him...So what and I am hoping that we can go on another date real soon." She said loud enough for everyone to overhear her. Turning back towards Kazuya. "A real one." She whispered to him and he felt weak in the knees. Feeling a little shocked that someone as wonderful as Chizuru would want to go out with him for real. Not a rental date. But a real date. He brought himself out of the daze and frowned.

"That could be...I already am scorned. You will be too if we...You know Date." Kazuya said worried that there would be some that would start treating Chizuru like they do him.

"I do not see a problem with that. Also think about this...If and when you gain the title of the Sword Saint. I bet half of those idiots will be kissing your ass to join their houses." Chizuru said softly to him and then put her right hand onto his left forearm. Both of her friends giggled. "Please escort me to my Class Kazuya." She told him and after getting some more scornful looks from those around them. He did as she asked.

Aftermath:

Sitting in her Classroom, it dawned on Chizuru that she essentially was now dating Kazuya. She had announced her intentions to date Kazuya. So she barely listened to the conversations of the other Students around her as she thought about how it had happened. It was not in her plans to date anyone other than getting paid to pretend to date someone as a Rental Girlfriend. During her musing, if it had not been for Shinbo. She would have committed a huge blunder. As she was thinking about her situation. Princess Stephanie Darshal had come into the Classroom and edict demanded that everyone rise and then bow. If it had not been for her friend poking her out of her thoughts she would have not risen from her seat and bowed slightly towards the Royal Princess. With a small wave from the Princess, everyone now could sit down and do whatever they wanted until the Teacher arrived to start the class. Returning to her own thoughts she barely noticed when the Princess approached her.

"Excuse me Lady Chizuru Ichonise...But I have heard that you are Dating...The Non-Noble student Kazuya Kinoshita?" Stephanie asked and Chizuru slowly nodded.

"Yes your Highness...I guess I am. In truth we just started dating." Chizuru replied and was waiting for the Princess to verbally chastise her. To give some type of lecture about her being a Granddaughter or a Noble Baroness and that she should respect the Hierarchy of not becoming involved with lessor individuals such as Commoners. The higher lady smiled warmly.

"I was hoping what I heard was true. As I understand it...He is an exceptional Swordsman. That last year he won the Internation Swordsmanship Competition." Stephanie said and Chizuru noticed that everyone was looking at her and the Princess. Listening intently.

"Yes your Highness." Chizuru replied and again Stephanie smiled.

"Good. You should understand...I am an advocate and supporter of ending the ridiculous notion that Nobles only Marry Nobles. So if you or Mister Kinoshita ever need someone to talk to or if you need some assistance. Then please seek me out. I truly hope it works out for you and Mister Kinoshita." Stephanie declared and Chizuru smiled.

"Thank you your Highness." Chizuru said and with that Stephanie walked over to her seat within the Classroom and sat down. Just as the Teacher entered the room.

That evening Chizuru had invited Kazuya into her Apartment. She needed to talk to him. "I have no idea what to do. Being in a relationship is not something I intended to happen." She said as she sat there on one side of her Table while Kazuya was on the other. He let out a deep sighing breath.

"Oh...I understand. So perhaps it would be best we...Just not be in one. Call it a spur of a moment kind of thing." Kazuya said fully expecting that it would be best if they just ended it now and go back to being nothing but neighbors. Chizuru glared at him.

"Don't be stupid. I fully plan on...I want to date you Kazuya. The problem I have is...It is against the Rules at the Diamond Agency for one of their Rental Girlfriends to have a Boyfriend." Chizuru stated and Kazuya stared at her somewhat shocked. She smiled at him and then frowned again.

"Sorry. I can understand why. I take it is because the Agency is worried about jealous boyfriends causing problems." Kazuya said and Chizuru nodded. She exhaled with an exasperated sigh.

"I just don't know how I am going to be able to afford my Acting School Tuition on top of everything else. If I just get a normal Part-Time Job." Chizuru said thinking about the other part-time jobs a Noble Heir could get. She just could not go and get a job at a Fastfood Restaurant or something along those lines. At most she could probably work as a Hostess at a Fancy Restaurant or something that fit with her status. But that meant she would have to devote a lot of time to get the same amount of Money she got as a Rental Girlfriend. It would not work. She barely had enough time in the day to do everything now.

"How much do you think you would need?" Kazuya asked and Chizuru looked over at him. As he pulled his Checkbook out of his Jacket Pocket that was near him.

"Wait...I was not...Suggesting that you...I was just...No I cannot let you." Chizuru said and Kazuya chuckled. Then signed his name to the Check and slide the blank check over towards her.

"Let me help you as your new Boyfriend. Don't worry I have a lot of Money so it is no problem. Just write in how much you think you might need." Kazuya told her and Chizuru looked at the Blank Check in front of her. Then back at him.

"What do you mean you have a lot of Money? If you do then why are you staying here at these small Apartments?" Chizuru asked and Kazuya shrugged.

"I got One Million Gold when I won that Competition last year and as to why I am staying here. This was the only place that was close to the Academy that would rent to me." Kazuya informed her and Chizuru gasped.

"One...One Million Gold. You could have used half of that to buy yourself a Noble Rank if you wanted to." Chizuru said and Kazuya laughed. Everyone knew that a Commoner if they had enough Money. They could buy themselves a Noble Rank. Though usually whatever Country they paid would only give them at most a Barony at minimal they would be a Baronette.

"Why would I do that? Like I said...My goal is to become the Sword Saint and I am doing it as a Commoner. Now fill in what you believe you need to accomplish your goal to become an Actress. Let me help you fulfill that dream as your supportive Boyfriend." Kazuya said and Chizuru smiled at him.

"Then I will support your dream to become the Sword Saint in any way I can as your Girlfriend." Chizuru said as she silently calculated how much Money she would need for the time being. About to write down ten Gold. But he took the Check and ripped it in half.

"Come on Chizuru...We both know you will need more than that." Kazuya said and then wrote down fifty Gold on the Check and signed it. Giving it to her. With shaking hands she took it. Then stood walked around the table, leaned down and kissed him. Parting he smiled up at her. "Wow...If I get that for just fifty Gold...I will write another Check so I can get another one." She smiled down at him.

"You do not have to...To get another kiss." Chizuru said and then kissed him again. Finding that she liked now having a Real Boyfriend.

To be continued...Maybe?
