Introduction:
Dungeons are a place of legends where rare treasures and items are concealed. The Monsters within all have Magic Stones and depending on what level and type they are can be processed into Healing, Mana Recovery and Poison Antidotes. The Magic Stones won by defeating Boss Level Monsters can be used for a power source. So the Adventures sell these Magic Stones for money and in some cases vast amounts of money. Dungeons are a place of mystery and no one knows where they come from or how they were created in the first place. But due to that it is a mystical force of nature. It provides a means for people to become stronger and raise their strength and magical powers. These same people can gain levels that in turn does increase their strength and magical powers. They can also acquire skills of different types. Including some special skills. This Story revolves around adventurers who traverse the floors or levels of a dungeon to find treasure, to defeat monsters and to complete adventures. There are several dungeons around the World and each are different. Because of that, Guilds were created to ensure that the Adventures adhere to certain rules. Such as a Level One Class E Adventurer cannot go past Floor Seven. Even if it is a party of Adventurers that are all Level One. Tokyo and Okinawa both have a Dungeon. Both are subterranean type Dungeons and no one has gone below Floor Level Sixty-Six and lived.
Currently Kazuya KInoshita is an Class B Adventurer. But he has a Special Skill that is so rare that perhaps one in a billion would ever have it. The Skill is called the Experience Multiplier and it multiplies his experience ten times normal. So he currently is a Level 8 Adventurer. Though he keeps that a secret from everyone including the Guild. The Guild believes he is simply a Level 5 Adventurer. His ultimate goal is to someday traverse and go past Floor 66 to Floor 70. To be the first to ever do that.
The Loner:
"Kazuya...You should really join a Party." Momo Ashino said as she logged in Kazuya's recent adventure into the Dungeon. He had returned with over Twenty Level 4 Magic Stones and Forty Level 3 Magic Stones. So as she inspected each one she logged it in and then after she was all done she handed him a Pay Voucher to be taken over to the Cashier so he could get his Money. All in total he got about two hundred thousand Yen. He looked at the Voucher and smiled.
"No...Not since what happened the last time I joined a Party and then there was the time before that and when I started as an Adventurer." Kazuya said and Momo stopped smiling.
"Yeah well...Sometimes there are some bad apples in the barrel. You just got to find the really good ones." Momo said encouragingly and smiled again. This time more sweetly then she had been before that. "You know I get off in about an hour...How about you take me out tonight for dinner and we go from there?" She asked him and Kazuya shook his head.
"Now come on Momo...The last time I took you out...All you wanted to talk about was us...getting married." Kazuya said paling slightly as he thought back to when he had first became an Adventurer. He was just fifteen and Momo was nineteen. After he had registered, she had asked him out and he seeing how cute and extremely sexy she was. He went out with her. Then spent the entire time dissuading her belief that they could get married once he reached 18 or they could get his parents consent and he could marry her when he reached 16.
"What is wrong with that? You are 19 and about to turn 20." Momo told him and Kazuya shook his head again.
"I really like you Momo...But not in that way. Can we just still be just friends?" Kazuya asked and Momo nodded.
"Okay...for now we are friends. But that does not mean I am going to stop asking you out anytime soon." Momo said and then smiled mischievously. "Though we could be...Intimate Friends with benefits." She suggested and then giggled as his face turned a bright shade of red. "I am kidding Kazuya...I am the type that you have to at least be engaged to me before we would ever do that." With that Kazuya made a hasty retreat over to the Cashier.
Returning home to his One Bedroom Apartment, Kazuya noticed that it was just after seven at night. He had gone to the Dungeon at about three this afternoon right after his Class at the University. While there he spotted Mami Nanami and pretended he didn't. Though he could not help once more wishing things were different. That she, her brother and her Boyfriend had not tricked him. Even though they did and made him look like a complete fool. He did like believe that she liked him enough to pretend to be dating. Which she didn't really like him. The problem was that he did enjoy going on Adventures with the three of them. It had been fun. As he entered his Apartment, his Grandmother once more called him about his non-existent social life. Which included having a Girlfriend or even going on a date with a Girl. She then sent him an APP and demanded he utilize it.
The Rental Date:
Kazuya had decided for his Date with a Rental Girlfriend to be at the Aquarium. Since he did like Fish and knew quite a bit about them. So, he stood outside waiting for the One he had Selected. A Chizuru Mizuhara. "Striped Pants and Orange Shirt...You must be Kazuya." He heard a girl ask and he turned to see the source of the inquiry and nearly gasped. There before him was an extremely attractive Girl. He had feared that the profile picture had been doctored and altered to make Chizuru even more attractive then what she was. To his shock. Chizuru was just plain beautiful. He nodded.
"Yes. Are you Chizuru? Chizuru Mizuhara?" Kazuya asked and Chizuru smiled.
"That is me." Chizuru told him and after a few more minutes they went inside the Aquarium. "There is no need to be so nervous...Kazuya." She said noticing how he was acting so nervous and anxious with her. He blushed slightly.
"Well...it has been awhile since I...Went on a date with anyone." Kazuya admitted and then told him about his woes. How Mami had tricked him into believing that they were a couple. How she actually was using him so that she, Her Brother and her real Boyfriend who all happened to be Level 2's. Could use him to go to the C-Class Floors of the Dungeon to obtain more valuable Magic Stones. Cheating him out of the lion share of the Magic Stones. The only reason he found out was he saw Mami kissing her real Boyfriend and later heard them all making fun of him and how stupid he was.
"That is just terrible! How could they...How could she do that to you?" Chizuru asked and Kazuya shrugged.
"It happens. A lot. It is much like in High School where some form Clicks...Groups and then they use someone that is not in their Click or Group in some nasty way." Kazuya said and Chizuru nodded with agreement. It had happened in her High School a lot. Not that she ever got used or was part of any Click or group.
"So...You don't have to tell me. But what Class are you?" Chizuru asked and Kazuya smiled.
"I am a B-Class and I am a Level 5. Been one for about six months." Kazuya told her and this time Chizuru gasped.
"B-CLASS! LEVEL 5! Whoa...That must mean you are really...Powerful and Strong?" Chizuru asked in awe and Kazuya nodded. Not about to tell her that in truth he was a Level 8 and was close to becoming level 9 thanks to his Special Skill.
"Yes...I guess I am." Kazuya said and they continued on their date. Talking about the Fish and about his being an Adventurer. At the end of the date and after Kazuya paid her. She looked at her Cellphone and then smiled.
"Okay...I am off duty." Chizuru said and looked once more back at Kazuya. "Can I ask you something?" She asked and he nodded. "Is it true that a Class C can take guests into the Dungeon? I saw it on the internet once and I was curious." She told him and Kazuya nodded.
"Yeah...But at most I can only take a Guest down to Floor 8." Kazuya said and Chizuru smiled.
"I am off tomorrow...Uhm...I have seen all the pictures and the Documentaries about the Dungeon but never really have been able to go see it myself." Chizuru shifted somewhat nervously. "Could you...Maybe...Take me to the Dungeon tomorrow?" Then she quickly added. "I am not saying you have to...Rent me again. We could...Maybe Make it a Modified Real date? Where I do not charge you, but all the rules associated with Renting me still apply." Kazuya found it even more extremely cute how she was right at that moment. Not as confident as she appeared to be the last two hours. He smiled.
"Sure...Hey how about we go to Floor 7...The Crystal Cavern. Maybe have a picnic?" Kazuya suggested and Chizuru stared at him in confusion.
"What about...The Monsters there? Won't they attack us?" Chizuru asked and Kazuya chuckled. Then shook his head.
"No. That is why it has to be someone that is Class C and above. The Monsters can sense someone's Higher Levels. Anyone above Level 3 and it below Floor 10. The Monsters will avoid and run from anyone with Level 3 or more." Kazuya told her and Chizuru slowly nodded with understanding. With that they set up a time to meet at the Guild.
Modified Real Date:
Stepping out of her Apartment, Chizuru stood there for several minutes and then left to go to the Guild. She would be there a good hour early. But she was so excited about going into the Dungeon she just could not bring herself to wait any longer. One of the problems though was since she was early, she would have to wait outside. Due to that only Adventurers, Guild Staff Members, Government Officials and their Guests could enter the Guild. So that left her instead waiting at a Coffee Shop across the street until Kazuya arrived. "Did you wait long?" Kazuya asked as he walked towards her and Chizuru shook her head.
"No. I only got here a few minutes ago." Chizuru said lying to him for she had arrived almost an hour earlier than that. She looked at him and noticed what he was carrying. He had a Katana on his back with the Hilt on the back of his left shoulder. On the right side of his Hip was a Pistol. Along with that he had a backpack and a Short Sword in his right hand. He wore a black long sleeve shirt with Gauntlets on his forearms. He also wore a Kevlar Vest and had shin and thigh Guards. Just normal Attire for some Adventurers. She though was wearing Blue Jeans and a Light Black Jacket.
"Here take this." Kazuya told her handing her the twenty or so inch one handed Short Sword. She looked at him oddly. "It is not for you to fight with. It is for you to be able to defend yourself if necessary." He said as she took the sword from him. Then using the belt strapped it to her waist. "Better safe than sorry. The Dungeon is a dangerous place." With that they went towards the Main Entrance Doors of the Guild. Kazuya produced his Guild Card and the Two-Armed Men at the doors let them in.
"You know I always wondered...Why don't all the Adventurers just use Guns to take out the Monsters? Why use Swords, Battle-Axes or whatever to fight them?" Chizuru asked as they entered the Guild and Kazuya smiled at her.
"Guns don't always work on some Monsters. There are some that you would need a very High Caliber Gun to even slow it down. We all carry Guns because if nothing else...We can stun them enough to get away if necessary." Kazuya told her and Chizuru smiled nervously. "Don't worry...There aren't any of those types where we will be going. At most there will be Kobolds, Giant Ants, Rammers, Killer Long Saber-Tooth Rabbits and maybe Toaders. All low Level Monsters." He told her reassuringly and Chizuru relaxed some. That is until they approached the Reception Desk.
"KAZUYA! It is so nice to see you. Does this mean you came to finally ask me out or perhaps ask me to Marry you?" The Guild Receptionist asked excitingly and Chizuru looked over at Kazuya. Easily noticing his exasperated expression.
"No Momo. Actually I am here on a date. I am taking Chizuru here down to the Crystal Cavern for a picnic." Kazuya said and Momo pouted.
"No fair. You never took me on a date down to the Crystal Cavern." Momo said as she sat down behind her Computer. "Okay...Chizuru was it? I need a Photo Id and I also need you to fill out this and this." The Girl said placing two forms onto the desk. "The first one is a Waiver that dictates that the Guild is not responsible if you get hurt or in worse case scenario...Killed. The second is just general information we need. Make sure you put in your Blood Type and Emergency Contact information. Along with you Address on both." Then Momo handed Kazuya a form to fill out as well. Chizuru filled them out and handed them back to Momo. Who looked them over. "Hey you two are neighbors...So is that how you two met?" Momo asked and both Kazuya and Chizuru gasped.
"Wait...We are..." Kazuya started to say and Chizuru finished before he could.
"Neighbors?" Chizuru finished asking and Momo looked at them with confusion.
"Well yeah. You both have the same address...But different Apartment Numbers." Momo said and this shocked both Kazuya and Chizuru. Once they were cleared, they made their way to the Heavy Steal Reinforced Doors that led to the Dungeon.
"You want to tell me about why that...Girl asked about going out on a date. Or about Marriage." Chizuru asked waiting to talk about the fact that they were neighbors until later. Perhaps after they both confirmed that they were indeed Next-Door Neighbors. Kazuya then told her about his true and disturbing relationship with Momo Ashino. Chizuru laughed after hearing about it. As they entered the First Floor, Chizuru stopped laughing and smiling. There before them was three Kobolds snarling at them. She gripped the Short Sword Hilt tightly with her right hand. Before she could pull it out. The Monsters took one look at Kazuya and ran away yipping. Chizuru sighed with relief.
"Told you that they would run." Kazuya said reassuringly and Chizuru visibly relaxed. "Those there look vicious and deadly. But they are only Level One. If you hit them right. You could take them out with a Slingshot." He told her and Chizuru felt better.
"Still...Seeing them for real. It is kind of scary. They looked like they wanted to rip us apart with their claws and teeth." Chizuru said and Kazuya slowly nodded.
"That is because they would if they could have. Then they would eat us." Kazuya said and Chizuru once more felt a little afraid. This had been the first time she ever saw a real Monster that was not in a cage at the Monster Zoo. Or from on TV. There was nothing separating her from the Monsters. "You know the first time I saw a Monster. It was a Giant Ant. I was so scared and terrified that I nearly ran from it." He told her hoping to make her not be so nervous or afraid. He did not tell her that the Party he had come with, deserted him when they were ambushed by a dozen Giant Ants. They had him join their Party because they needed someone expendable if they came across this type of scenario. By pure luck his Special Skill activated and after he had somehow defeated five of the Ants. His power and strength increased enough that he was able to defeat all the others. He then returned and reported his Ex-Party Members to the Guild and all four of them that had left him to die. Were kicked out of being Adventurers along with they were arrested by the Police.
"That is a little disturbing to hear first-hand. I heard from the Documentaries that the Monsters eat each other and it did say something about some Monsters will eat humans." Chizuru said and Kazuya shook his head.
"Make that all of them will eat humans. Even those that you think are cute...They will eat you if given the chance." Kazuya told her as they reached the Second Floor. This time a group of Killer Long Saber-Tooth Rabbits hopped partially towards them. They too like the Kobold looked at Kazuya and hopped away.
"Can you tell me if it is true or not? About the Adventurers in the United States...The ones that...With the Succubus? How they got caught after they sneaked one out of the Dungeon and...Kept it in their Basement? To..To do things with. How there are some that...Would do that. Even here." Chizuru blushed heavily and Kazuya let out a long sigh.
"Are you sure you want to know?" Kazuya asked and Chizuru nodded. "Yeah...There are those that...They are really sick in the head. Sure some Monsters...Like the Succubus, Lamia's and the Siren's have...The parts. But you got to be a real piece of work to want to fool around with them. Especially since if you are not careful." He remembered how those that had taken the Succubus out of the Dungeon. Where one of them got his throat torn out when she was able to while he was enjoying himself. "Any of those that do that could end up like that moron and get killed." He knew why Chizuru had asked that. It had been on the News for a couple of days repeatedly and the Liaison at the Guild really did not go into too much detail. In fear that others might get some kinky ideas. By the time they reached the Fifth Floor, Chizuru was feeling a little winded and tired. Kazuya noticed this so he suggested they take a rest.
The Crystal Cavern:
When they entered the Crystal Cavern on Floor Seven. Chizuru stared about in awe. The entire room seemed to be one huge Crystal and it shinned and twinkled all about them. As she looked at all of the different rainbow colors that shone all about. She noticed that there were at least thirty or so others there. Some were in small groups of two to four different people. Then there was two groups of about ten idly sitting here or there. Almost all of them were eating and drinking. "Pretty much this is a safe zone. Due to that not many Monsters spawn here. Not like on the other Floors. So, a lot of the time. Adventurers will rest here." Kazuya told her as he led her deeper into the Vast Cavern that was about the size of an American Domed Football Arena. She gazed upwards and saw a couple of Winged Monsters flying about.
"What about them?" Chizuru pointed upwards at the Bat like Monsters that were flying above them. Kazuya looked up and chuckled.
"Those there are Zip Bats. They are about as harmless as a Bird. Mostly they eat bugs that are drawn to the Crystals that came in from the Surface. Don't worry about them." Kazuya said then led her deeper within. "Over here is a really good spot that I sometimes use to relax." It was about halfway into the Cavern and there Chizuru noticed that there were also other Adventurers there as well. A vendor was pushing a Cart that had Ramen Noodles advertised on it. Then she saw another that was selling Melon Bread.
"Those Vendors...?" Chizuru was confused on why or how those Vendors got down here.
"Oh...Sometimes a Low-Level Adventurer needs some extra income. There are about three dozen Food Vendors that hire Level One Adventurers to come down here to sell their wares. It is usually a little more pricey then that on the Surface though." Kazuya told her and then led her over to where one of the Crystal on the Ground looked almost flat. It was about the size of Two Queen Sized beds and it had a slight downward angle. "We can have our Picnic here." He suggested and at that moment Chizuru's stomach grumbled. She blushed.
"Okay...Sounds good." Chizuru said as they both sat down on the Crystal and Kazuya started to unpack their Lunch. He pulled out two Kaiser Sandwiches and before handing Chizuru one. He used a minor bit of Fire Magic to heat them up. "You can use Magic?" She asked in awe seeing the small flames emanating from his hands.
"Yes. I am a Level 5. I can use Thunderbolt, Flamethrower and Water Blade. Those are the Three Attack Magic that I can use." Kazuya said and Chizuru wished she could actually see him use those spells. But it was against the law to use any type of offensive Magic outside the Dungeon unless it was at designated areas and there was no need for him to use them here on the Seventh Floor.
"I wonder if I could use Magic." Chizuru asked and Kazuya smiled.
"Everyone can use Magic. They just have to raise their Levels. Generally the Spell will come to you in...Well like a vision." Kazuya told her and Chizuru pondered on what it would take to raise her level. Right now she was like most of the Public. Unable to use Magic like the Adventurers or someone naturally gifted with the ability to use Magic.
"After we eat...Can you...Well show me those Spells?" Chizuru asked and Kazuya thought about it for a minute.
"I guess I could. I could maybe use a minor bit of my Magical Mana and blast a couple of the Monsters on our way back. Though it would be like using a Sledge Hammer to kill a Fly." Kazuya said and Chizuru chuckled at his comparison. When they were done eating, they wandered around the Cavern for about another Hour before heading back to the surface. In route he used all three of his Magical Offensive Spells against a couple of the Monsters. Obliterating them completely. After they checked out of the Guild and once outside.
"Thank you for taking me into the Dungeon. That was so much fun and I learned a lot." Chizuru said then gestured towards the direction of their Apartment Building. "Since we both are neighbors...Want to walk home together? I would like to discuss...About us being neighbors." She asked and with that as they walked they talked about it. Wanting him to never revel what she did for a job to anyone. "I really can't have my Grandmother find out about my job and i do not want anyone at the College to find out. So can you keep it a secret?" Kazuya nodded.
"That is no problem. We all have secrets that we don't want anyone to find out about." Kazuya said and Chizuru smiled. Before either could say anything else. His Cellphone Chimed and he pulled it out of his pocket and after reading the message he paled. "My Grandmother has been taken to the Hospital. I got to go."
"I'll come with you." Chizuru said and Kazuya hailed a Taxi and headed towards the Hospital that his Grandmother had been taken to.
Accidental Connections:
"Yuck...This stuff tastes terrible." Nagomi Kinoshita said smacking her lips in an attempt to get the taste out of her mouth. Just as Kazuya arrived with an unknown girl right behind him. "Kazuya...Wait who is that with you?" The Elder Woman asked no longer caring about the bad taste of the Healing Potion she had just drank. Usually Healing Potions had no taste at all. But to ensure that it would be completely effective to help with the Older Woman's ailments. The Doctors had a pharmacists add in some different types of Normal Medicine. Both of his parents also looked towards the Chizuru and waited for Kazuya to say something.
"Uhm...This is..." Kazuya was perplexed on what to say. He could introduce her as his College School mate. Or maybe his Neighbor and he was about to then Chizuru chimed in cheerfully.
"I am his Girlfriend. My name is Chizuru...Chizuru Mizuhara." Chizuru said and his Family smiled broadly. That is until Nagomi demanded to be discharged immediately. But the Doctors advised her to stay a couple more days to make sure the Potion is effective. After Kazuya's Parents left. Nagomi decided to seek out her friends at the Hospital to show off her Grandson's Girlfriend. "Where is she going?" Chizuru asked and Kazuya shrugged.
"My Grans has been here a lot. So she has made some friends here." Kazuya explained and Chizuru gasped loudly.
"Quick...We have to get out of here. My Grandmother is here and...And if she...I messed up big time." She grabbed Kazuya's right hand and basically dragged him into an empty hospital room. Just as her and Kazuya's Grandmothers returned to the other room with two other elderly women in tow.
"What is going on?" Kazuya asked completely confused and Chizuru turned towards him in sheer panic.
"My Grandma is here. It will cause a whole lot of misunderstandings if...If she finds out that I have a Boyfriend. I have been telling her that I don't have one yet." Chizuru said and searched the room to see if there was another way out. She knew the real reason she had accompanied Kazuya here. It was because she had found herself liking him and wanted to spend more time with him. It went against her plans, but she did like him and began to wonder what it would be like to date him for real. To be his real Girlfriend and not a fake one. She wanted to really consider what her feelings for him were. But not with this all going on.
"Oh yeah I guess it would. We have to get out of here without them seeing us." Kazuya said going to the window. "How about going out here?" He suggested and Chizuru shook her head.
"We are five stories up." Chizuru said and Kazuya looked back out the Window.
"I could easily make the jump down. Though I would not recommend taking you with me. The sudden stop could hurt you. So...I will be off." Kazuya began to open the window and Chizuru grabbed his arm.
"Don't you dare! No way! You are not leaving me here alone to face them. If I get caught...You get caught." Chizuru stated not about to face her grandmother and his without him there too. She kept holding his arm so that he tried to leave and leave her here to face the Grandmothers. She did not trust how he kept glancing over at the window. "Maybe we can sneak out?" But before they could devise a plan to do that. The Door opened and she quickly pulled Kazuya over to the bed. Pushed him onto it and then joined him. Pulling the sheet over the both of them. Just as his Grandmother entered the room.
Kazuya was in trouble. With Chizuru lying on top of him he became fully aware of her body. How soft her breasts were pressed against his chest. The scent of her perfume and of course Chizuru herself. Sensations flowed through his body and right to something he was valiantly trying to keep from making an appearance. But the position they were in was making that almost impossible and in that position with their pelvises on top of each other. The situation intensified to a point that affected them both. It did not help when Chizuru moaned. "Are you alright?" Nagomi asked and both Kazuya and Chizuru remained perfectly still.
"I am fine." Chizuru said disguising her voice as much as possible and Kazuya held his breath. While at the same time to keep a certain digit from rising any further. "Hey...Stop that. It is...Pressing somewhere that...Control yourself or rather that." She whispered to him crossly.
"I am trying...Don't move so much." Kazuya whispered back.
"Are you sure you are alright?" Nagomi asked again and Chizuru quickly responded.
"Yes...I am perfectly fine." Chizuru responded again disguising her voice.
"Okay...Uhm did you happen to see a Girl and a Boy? The girl is extremely cute with brown hair and the Boy is...Well he is kind of plain looking." Nagomi said and Chizuru suppressed a giggle. If the situation was not dire, she would have taken the opportunity to tease Kazuya some.
"I think I saw them leave." Chizuru said and Nagomi cursed. Then ran out into the hallway.
"The Targets bolted. They are outside." Nagomi said loudly and both Chizuru and Kazuya sighed with relief. Then Chizuru looked down at Kazuya. It was not just their bodies that were pressed closely together. But her face and mouth were mere inches from his. She stared into his eyes and found it hard to look away. Before she realized what was happening, she leaned down and pressed her lips onto his. It was a spur of the moment kind of thing and normally she would not do such a thing. "What am I doing? He is a Client." She thought as she kissed him. Deepening the embrace and the kiss. He did not resist and kissed her back just as much. Parting she looked once more into his eyes and smiled.
"Chizuru...Should we have done that?" Kazuya asked her and Chizuru saw the warmth and hope in his eyes. She shrugged slightly.
"You did not like...It?" Chizuru asked and Kazuya shook his head.
"No. It was...Incredible. But isn't that against the Rules. Chizuru giggled.
"Yes and no. It isn't against the rules for me...To want to...Maybe date someone for real. Even if they are an Ex-Client." Chizuru then pecked him on the lips with hers. "Oh by the way. You can't rent me anymore. It is against the rules for...A Boyfriend to rent his Girlfriend." Just as they were about to kiss again. The Sheet was pulled off them and both their Grandmothers stood there beaming with huge smiles on their faces.
"AH HA! I knew it was you. Trying to fool me so you two could...Just what were you two doing?" Nagomi asked smirking at them. Chizuru and Kazuya looked from the two Elder Women, back at each other and then back to the two Grandmothers.
"Well we were..." Kazuya had no idea how to explain what they were doing. Chizuru smiled.
"We were just discussing...Our relationship as a Couple." Chizuru quickly said and then winked at Kazuya. "We really need to discuss this in depth later." She whispered to him as she then introduced her Grandmother to Kazuya.
The Talk:
Walking towards home, since they both decided to just walk and not take a Taxi. So they could talk about what just occurred. "Kazuya...This is all new to me. I haver never had a Real Boyfriend before. So I have no idea...What to say or do." Chizuru admitted and Kazuya paused walking for a brief moment.
"In truth neither have I. I do not really count Mami...Sure I thought I was her Boyfriend and she was my Girlfriend. But that was just a delusion. My delusion. First thing though...I want to continue being an Adventurer." Kazuya said and Chizuru looked at him oddly. "I know some that had to quit because their Boyfriend or Girlfriend made them quit."
"Ah...Okay that is fine. Just be careful. Oh also I need to keep my Job. It is the only way I can afford my Acting School Tuition and my other bills. Let me make it crystal clear though. You are...Well you are my only Boyfriend. Those others are just clients...Nothing more then that. All the Rental Girlfriend Rules apply to them. Not you though." Chizuru told him and Kazuya smiled. Then he frowned and she noticed his expression.
"I guess I need to be truthful. I need to tell you the truth about something." Kazuya said sullenly and this alarmed Chizuru.
"Is it...Something that you...Don't tell me that you actually dating that Receptionist?" Chizuru asked and Kazuya shook his head.
"No. But I lied to you about something else." Kazuya took a deep inhaled breath. Then leaned closer so no one could overhear them. "I do not want anyone to know this...So delve into your acting skills." He swallowed and looked around to make sure no one was close by. "I...I am...Actually...My Level is...8." He whispered just loud enough for her to hear him. She gasped and her eyes widened. It took all of her willpower to not blurt out anything.
"Level...8? That...That is...I have a whole lot of questions. But I think we should wait until we get home." Chizuru whispered back in shock. Then they walked in silence all the way back to the Apartment Building. There she learned all about his Skill and how it multiplied his experience and power. By the time they were done talking it the sun was rising. Thus their real relationship began.
