The song for this chapter is "Lux Eterna" by Metallica. The song fits pretty well for this chapter. This chapter won't be very long, but I am planning something big for the next chapter.

Bank left! Right, bring your wings in so you can fit through the tighter area! Almost there! Going through the canyon, I pump my wings as fast as I can, turning and diving as fast as I can. The end is almost in sight.

Just a couple hundred feet from the end of the canyon. I flap my wings as hard as I can, making a big jump in altitude, and I land on the side of the canyon... Dave waiting for me with a stopwatch.

"Good job Night!" Dan said, pausing the stopwatch, "Looks like you exceeded our expectations, you set a new record with two minutes, and forty-four seconds"

I gave him a happy nod, still taking in some breaths of air, I was going all out there. "So... how fast am I then?"

In the three weeks, I have been a dragon, it actually didn't take me that long to learn how to speak English again, I already knew the words. Just had to get my mouth to make the right noises. It was embarrassing at my first few attempts, sounded like I was a chain-smoking grandma.

"Well, if my calculations are correct... that would mean you have a top speed of around two hundred and twenty miles per hour, and you have a casual speed around a hundred seventy miles per hour," Dave said, doing the calculations in his head.

I remember something Dave said, when he first told me about being a dragon, "Didn't you say my top speed should have been two hundred miles per hour?"

Dave gave Night a smirk, "Yep, and you crushed our expectations."

"Heck ya!" Night yelled in excitement, "Do you think I should train anymore, I think I got everything down?"

Dave shook his head, "Shouldn't, you have completed every course in outstanding time, also your armor is ready."

That made Night pause, "I know you were talking about it, you said it would be a way for me to hit supersonic?"

Dave gave him a nod, "Yep, and it's pretty much complete, it's back at the base, for you to try it on". Dave pulled a photo out of his pocket, "This is what it looks like, if you would like it to look a bit different, please tell me."

Night looked down at the photo. It was armor that looked like it covered his whole body in a slim fit, it was almost all black, but with five different spots on it that glowed blue. The eyes, under the wings, where the thrusters would be, and on the chest. "What's with the thing in the middle of the chest?"

"Ahh, that... yes" Dave cleared his throat, "Well you see... your power armor is kind of... nuclear" whispering the last part.

Night blinked his eyes in shock, "You want to repeat that last part?"

"When I say your armor is powered, it's no joke," Dave said seriously, "Your suit should have enough power in it to power a small-sized town with almost no issue"

"Why?" Nightfall asked, not knowing why that would be required in some simple armor.

"Night, I don't think you realize how technologically advanced your suit is, your suit is going to go Mach without any jet fuel at all," Dave said, pointing to the thrusters on the suit. "Not only that, but we are working on some of the craziest upgrades your suit can have, both for pleasure's sake, and for helping you in missions"

"Can I... can I make a request on the upgrades?" Nightfall asked sheepishly.

"Sure, what is it," Dave asked, smiling at the challenge of adding new upgrades.

"I want to be able to listen to music" Night asked him, "If I am going to be alone for a while, I want to be able to at least listen to something besides myself"

Dave nodded, "Sure, any specific genres of music?"

Night smile, "I love metal and rock, any kind of rock is fine"

Dave nodded again, writing it down on a list, "Any other things you want to add to the suit?"

Night just shook his head no, "Nope, that's about it!". Night looked at the photo again, "Say, Dave, I do have a question though, how am I supposed to put the armor on?"

Dave shook his head, "Good question, now that was actually a problem we were having in the lab, it's also another reason why your suit is nuclear." Dave started trying to think of an example, "Have you ever seen a caterpillar make a cocoon before?"

Nigh gave him a nod, "As a kid, I got to see one and learn how they work."

"It's kind of like that, there is a thing that you attach to your chest called the core, and when you turn it on... it wraps around you to where its scale tight but comfortable," Dave explained.

"How does that work?" Nightfall asked confused just thinking about it.

"Most of that is classified, even to you" Dave gave him a smirk.

"Ohh come on, I am literally going to be using it!" Nightfall complained.

"I don't care, I am not going to lose my job just because you're too curious," Dave said annoyed. "But, after you get your armor, you will be cleared to start missions."

"Finally!" Nightfall yelled out in excitement, "And I can go anywhere I want to right?"

Dave, "That's what we were told anyways."

Night turned away from Dave, already knowing where he was going, "Great, I have wanted to hit this one place forever now!"

Dave gave him a look, "And where would that be?" he asked honestly.

Night turned around with a wicked look on his face, "Guam"

Dave gave him a smirk right back, knowing that Guam was a perfect first target for Nightfall.

Like I said, short chapter, but the next chapter is probably going to be the longest chapter yet, I am already done writing the rough draft for it, and I am so excited for it, just saying now, its going to make me put my fic into M rating just out of how gory it's going to be. Remember though, this is a dragon versus punny little humans, it was never going to be fair in the first place.
