Disclaimer: I do not own any copyrighted material that is referenced in this episode. My thoughts on the movie Tarzan is that it was a good movie, but a disappointing level the Kingdom Hearts game. It had a lot potential that was wasted and the platforming is really annoying.

Episode XV (15): Tarzan: Warrior of Discovery

The heroes were locked up in the brig below the ship!

Danyal covered her ears as Tarzan was banging around trying to find a way to escape!

Jeanette asked, "How do we get out of this hellhole?"

Danyal ranted, "Those barbaric pigs are too greedy to realize that selling lions to criminal underground is going to backfire with brutal results and harsh consequences for the animal and buyer alike! Especially when the cubs grow to a 500 pound large cat that is capable of pouncing on a full grown man. Their predatorial instinct will come out the very moment you would turn your back on them. The unfortunate thing is that every time a person in America is mauled to death by an exotic animal like an African lion or a tiger, the animal in most cases get put down just for retaining their wild instincts."

Suddenly, the ship began to lean as if being pulled by some heavy weight. Tarzan's friends had come to the rescue!

Danyal asked, "What was that?"

Mahad screamed in fright as a pillar sized red foot of an elephant crashed through the brig door!

Mana cried, "Now that's our ticket out of this dungeon!"

The heroes began to line up in a single file line like deer to get out of the brig, as the red elephant known as Tantor helped each of them out using his trunk to pull them out one by one.

Once the heroes were out, Natius looked at the sun that was setting into night.

He cried, "Let's go! We have a poacher to arrest."

Omar took out the van and he cried, "Seatbelts folks!"

Mahad cried, "Shotgun!"

The heroes fastened their seatbelts and the van turned into a boat that began to speed across the sea to the shore that would lead to the jungles!

Danyal asked, "What about Simba?"

"I hope the gorillas don't see him as an enemy like they saw Sabor the leopard as one." Natius prayed.

Danyal stated, "I concur with you. Though I have a speculation that they show respect to one another because knowing Simba, he would not try to touch the gorillas ."

The gorillas began to see a red light in the sky as poachers began to capture the gorillas!

The poachers continued their nasty work until they heard an unfamiliar cry. It was Tarzan, leading the charge against the poachers. Even other jungle animals came to help. Together, everyone began working to stop the poachers and rescue the gorillas.

At that moment, the roar of a lion echoed through the trees. Simba came to join in the battle with an army of a few lionesses from his pride.

A lioness noticed a poacher aiming for her king and she pounced on the poacher and used her powerful jaws to suffocate the man

Mahad cried, "Hell yeah! Simba, you might as well take a couple of poachers as a donation for your pride of lionesses."

One poacher had a gun ready to shoot the lion, but Nausicaä ran her lightsaber pike through his heart and he collapsed on the ground dead with a cauterized stab wound!

"Thanks," Simba told Nausicaä. "Now we just have to stop Clayton."

Everyone looked and saw Clayton and Tarzan fighting in the trees.

Clayton became tangled in vines!

Simba saw that Clayton was trapped. This was his chance to capture him. He had to hurry, though. Clayton was already using his sword to cut himself free.

Danyal noticed two poachers armed with guns to kill Simba. She looked up the trees and spotted a giant hive of Africanized bees, she ran to hide herself from the poachers as they headed towards where Simba was at!

Danyal took the bow in her hand and she fired an arrow that broke off the branch that kept the hive suspended, and the hive fell and it crashed on the ground breaking apart releasing furious bees and the insects began to buzz as they began relentlessly stinging their victims!

The two poachers began to fall onto the ground dying from the brutal stings!

Clayton failed to realize that there was a vine wrapping around his throat! Clayton began to fall from a long distance!

Bianca used her Pen of Dreams causing Clayton to fall slowly and the vine wrapping around his throat was magically removed thus allowing Simba to pounce on Clayton!

Bianca smiled, "Looks like you enraged Mother Nature for the last time."

Simba bared his teeth and growled ferociously at the poacher. Suddenly, he relaxed himself. "I won't kill you," he growled. "King Mickey has ordered it. Instead, I'm going to take you to his castle so you can explain about your activities in the Pride Lands."

Clayton had no way to fight back. He dropped his sword while falling and Tarzan destroyed his gun by smashing it against the tree they were fighting on. In his mind, he was praying for the Dark Masters to save him.

Simba looked at the ground as a dark portal began to draw Clayton in and Simba jumped back and he snarled, "I doubt those demons are going to be lenient for your failure. If I see you in the Pride Lands again Clayton, you will become the hunted."

Then the portal closed. Natius couldn't believe that the Dark Masters would rescue Clayton.

Natius looked at Simba as he was about to leave.

He asked, "Where are you going?"

Simba answered as some lionesses were carrying the corpses of any of the dead poachers, "I'm going back to the Pride Lands now that Clayton has been dealt with. The other poachers thankfully didn't have the coordinates to my kingdom. While Clayton had his little safari, he forgot to set the coordinates to the Pride Lands."

Bianca smiled, "That's good news."

Simba looked at Natius and he stated, "Your journey to find that history teacher will not be easy. I can tell you this, this man is not the same man that you knew anymore."

Natius didn't want to believe that and he cried, "There has to be a way to at least save his soul from eternal damnation."

Simba stated as he understood what he was going through, "Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do to help you with Simeon Virgil. From what I've heard from King Mickey was that Simeon was once stranded in the Disney Kingdom in the 1970s."

Natius asked shocked, "What?! There were others like us?"

"Yes," Simba answered. "Like you, they had ties to these worlds."

Natius asked, "What happened?"

Simba replied, "I was introduced in 1994 so I don't have any knowledge about the time. You can ask King Mickey himself."

"Then take us to him," Natius pleaded. "Or can't you?"

Simba stated, "I'll take you to where Mickey is only once, I have to return to the Pride Lands and you can ask the old mouse about your history teacher."

Simba led the heroes out of the jungle and brought them to a portal leading to Solar Castle.

The heroes looked around in amazement at the castle's magnificent throne room and there they saw Mickey Mouse rising from his throne as Simba left the portal to return to his home.

Mickey stated, "I never expected you to see me in this time. Why are you here?"

Natius decided to get to the point. "King Mickey, is it true that there were others like us? People who stumbled into these worlds?"

Mickey answered, "In times of chaos, we would select those who are pure of heart to prevent the Disney Kingdom from collapsing into chaos."

"So we weren't the first," said Natius. "Is that why Mr. Virgil is involved in all of this?"

Mickey answered, "Yes. His element was Patience and he was accompanied by three others. David Robert Balfour who possessed Diligence, Ichabod Joseph Lynx had the element of Dignity, and the third one Davis Reitherman had ingenuity as he was descended from Cogsworth."

Natius asked, "What happened to them?"

"Simeon, David, and Ichabod were all able to return home to their world, but Davis was not." Mickey answered.

"Was he captured?" Natius asked.

Mickey answered, "Worst killed."

"By the Dark Masters, I bet," said Zander.

Mickey answered, "That's correct."

Natius asked, "Why?"

Mickey answered, "Davis refused to answer the questions that the Dark Masters gave him."

Natius wondered what information the Dark Masters wanted that Davis refused to give. He also wondered what happened after Davis was killed.

Mickey explained, "They were interrogating about where the other three were sent to. Grimhilde took the poisoned dagger and she stabbed Davis in the heart. So I would advise you Natius not to show the dagger to Mr. Balfour. Thankfully, I was able to dispatch a servant to retrieve Davis's body and Davis's soul was reincarnated into a toon owl with the name of Franklin Milton and he has been working for me for nearly forty years and he recently have reported there was a small group from the Warner domain that accidentally stumbled upon our domain."

Everyone's eyes widened. "The Warner Domain?!"

"That's correct," Mickey answered. "A group of children was sighted in Medieval Paris, the home world of one of the Dark Masters."

Danyal cried, "You have got to be joking."

Mickey replied, "It's not a joke."

"How could something like this happen?" Natius asked.

"We're still investigating that," Mickey answered. "But a lot of us are worried that the borders between the domains are weakening. When these strangers arrived, we were worried that this was like the time Danyal stumbled into the Warner Domain."

Zander asked Danyal, "Why didn't you tell anyone?"

Danyal replied, "I didn't want to be ridiculed like Dorothy was."

Bianca asked shocked, "What? What are you saying?"

Danyal replied, "I'm saying that Dorothy was humiliated and insulted."

Jeanette looked at her. "Maleficent and Jafar were trying to interrogate you because of that. Even they wanted to know about your adventures."

Danyal stated, "That's right."

"The strangers were able to return to their world, but we think they might come back," King Mickey warned.

"Who were those people?" Mahad asked.

Mickey sighed. "Children who just recently discovered their elements and are training to be warriors."

"And those elements are?" Natius asked.

Mickey named them off. "Empathy, knowledge, and innocence."

Mickey noticed Toboé wearing an amber necklace that had two moons facing opposite to one another, but connected by a single dot.

He asked, "Where did you get this?"

Toboé confessed, "A mysterious lady named Sally gave me this after my first transformation."

King Mickey gasped. "That's the symbol for empathy."

Bianca asked, "What?"

King Mickey remembered seeing Master Yen Sid present this necklace to Sally in honor of her deeds to help set things right in Halloween Town and save her friends. She also proved herself to be more understanding than anyone else in her world.

Mickey stated, "This is one of the purest elements."

Natius raised a brow. "What do you mean by that?"

King Mickey cleared his throat. "As you know, there are elements of good and there are also elements of evil. Certain elements of good are considered the purest because their powers of good are stronger than others. Examples of pure elements include purity, generosity, beauty, harmony, kindness, light, innocence, empathy, dreams, miracles, hope, faith, joy, and love."

Jeanette asked, "What about Sincerity?"

Mickey nodded. "And honesty as well."

Mana asked, "Who wields the element of Light?"

"In this domain, Ariel represents the element of light," Mickey answered.

Mana asked confused, "How was she able to acquire that element?"

Even Bianca didn't understand. "I always thought light would be Rapunzel's element."

Mickey answered, "Ariel's debut lead us into the light of the Disney Renaissance. She also doubles as the wielder for the element of Music."

The heroes began muttering amongst themselves. Mickey wanted to go further into detail about the events that transpired in Paris, but started having second thoughts about it.

Mickey advised, "When you head to Notre Dame, you should turn into animals native to France."

Mahad asked, "Why?"

Mickey pointed out, "Ethnical groups were frowned upon by Frollo."

Natius understood. It was better to be safe than sorry.

"It's time for you to begin your next destination," said Mickey.

Mana stated, "I agree. Hopefully we'll awaken enough warriors of the elements to get home."

A servant led the heroes out of the throne room and brought them to a portal leading back to the deep jungle.

The heroes looked at Kerchak in shock as they noticed that he was dying!

With his dying breath, Kerchak told Tarzan that he was now the leader of the gorillas and it was up to him to keep their family safe.

Tarzan took responsibility as the new leader and a dark green stylized compass appeared on Tarzan's hand. It was the symbol of Discovery. and the loin cloth Tarzan wore was changed into clothes suitable for an African tribal warrior that had a gorilla motif.

"He's awakened," said Zander.

Natius's mind was still on the discussion back at the castle. He still couldn't believe it. All this time, Mr. Virgil had been involved in all of this long before Natius and the others were. And what about the small group from the Warner Domain? Obviously, King Mickey knew more than he was letting on.

Mahad asked, "Is this the appropriate time to leave?"

Natius nodded. Now that the warrior of discovery had awakened, the heroes could continue their journey.

Omar took out the magical van and he stated, "All right folks, I hope you like elevator music."

Danyal snapped, "It's not elevator music!"

Omar laughed, "It's a joke."

The heroes entered the van and continued their journey.

Clayton stood before the Dark Masters in the throne room!

Although Clayton was weary from battle, he was able to stand on his feet. He thought the Dark Masters had answered his prayers and saved him from certain doom.

Clayton cried, "Thank you for saving me!"

Jafar chuckled. "Just because we brought you back to our castle, doesn't mean we saved you."

Clayton was confused. "What? What do you mean?"

"We brought you back here so we could discuss your actions," Turbo explained.

Clayton got down on his knees. "I'm sorry. I know I failed to take care of those children, but I promise it won't happen again. Please, give me another chance!"

Turbo answered, "You honestly believe that you can track down those brats and kill them?!"

"I have friends in high places," said Clayton. "Poachers like me!"

"It's because of your poaching that you were almost captured and taken to Mickey," Maleficent reminded him.

"I also hear you overstepped your boundaries," Jafar added. "You decided to forget about those brats for a while and visit the Pride Lands."

Clayton begged, "I only did that because I thought those lions would bring more money. Please give me one more chance to kill those brats!"

Maleficent rose from her throne. "Clayton, your arrogance and greed for money led you to defy us. For that, I see it fitting for you to be executed."

Clayton showed an expression of fear at her statement.

Maleficent wasn't finished. "However, you did at least make an effort to do as you were ordered. But you still failed. For that, you are to be condemned to our dungeon."

"No, wait, Maleficent-,"

"Take him away," she ordered Jafar.

Clayton cried as he struggled with the guards, "Take your hands off me!"

With a snap of his fingers, Jafar used his magic to lock Clayton in a cell in the dungeon to avoid a struggle. He sighed and said, "One just can't find good help these days."

Turbo sulked. "We should have just killed him. He did disobey us."

Jafar commented, "Quit sulking like a toddler and find out where those brats are heading to."

Turbo groaned in frustration and left the throne room.

"You are right, though, Jafar," Frollo was saying. "We can't seem to depend on anyone we send to deal with those children."

"I'd like to see you try your hand at facing them," Jafar challenged.

Frollo stated, "I would, but I'm still vulnerable to being burned alive by the Firebird."

"We can't protect you from that, I'm afraid," Maleficent said with sorrow. It was true. Despite the power they had, the Firebird was a sacred creature.

Jafar continued to torment him. "I bet you're also worried that those Warner brats will return and give you more grief."

"I don't want to discuss it," Frollo said through clenched teeth.

Jafar replied, "Fine. Judge Man!"

"Enough," Maleficent ordered.

Jafar commented, "I bet that they will be heading to a fork in the road."

Maleficent sighed. "Perhaps now would be a good time to put Brandon to the test."

"No," Frollo protested. Maleficent looked at him. He cleared his throat and added, "I mean, let's at least find out where those children are going before we do that. If you'll excuse me, I have to ask "

Maleficent gave a small grin. "A good idea."

Frollo was looking for John Hawkins. He wanted to ask the man a question. Though the minister figured it was probably unlikely, he decided to ask anyway for curiosity's sake.

The man noticed the minister's presence. "Can I help you with something?" he asked in an unpleasant manner.

Frollo didn't take kindly to his tone, but he decided to get it over with. "I have a question."

Curious about what he wanted, he replied, "Go on."

"In my world, I happened upon a child whose last name was also Hawkins," Frollo began. "She wouldn't happen to be a distant relative of yours, would she?"

This was peculiar, a girl from outside his world who shared his last name. "What was her first name?"

"Rebecca."

There was no one John knew in his family who was named Rebecca. "I don't have any relatives by that name. Besides, if that girl were to see me like this, I bet she would be shocked to see a bull shark human hybrid. I have an older brother that carries an otter cane. Don't let their cute face fool you, they're notorious for savagely attacking people." he replied.

The minister looked away. "I didn't think so. You also have a valid point"

John looked at him. "You know, people can share the same last name, but that doesn't always make them relatives in any way, shape, or form."

Frollo nodded in understanding. It was a common misconception. He began making his way back to the throne room.

Maleficent asked, "What did he say?"

"He has no connections to the girl." he answered.

"I shouldn't be surprised at that," said Maleficent. "You said she was from the Warner Domain, so of course it would be unlikely that the two would be related in any way."

Turbo pointed out, "Maleficent's right Frollo. Mistaken identity is the last thing we need among our problems."

"I was just curious." the minister simply stated.

"Curiosity itself is not a crime," Maleficent was saying, "but it can lead you into trouble if you're not careful."

"My advice: forget the kid, and use your curiosity cautiously." Turbo suggested.

Frollo stated, "All right."

Omar stopped the car and he noticed a small fork in a road as two worlds were present.

Mahad asked, "Omar? Why are we stopping?"

"I don't know where to go from here." he said.

Figaro asked, "You guys are having trouble?"

Omar looked at him. "You cats are like guides, right? Maybe you can tell us where to go."

Oliver looked at the road and he saw two worlds!

"Where do these paths lead to?" Omar asked.

Danyal noticed one of them had a Native American motif and the other had a video game motif.

"The path on the left will take you to the world of the Powhatan tribe," Figaro was saying. "The path on the right will take you to one of the Dark Masters."

"Which do you choose?" Oliver asked.

"You want us to choose?" Natius asked in disbelief.

Danyal looked at the path that led to the world of her ancestors. Maybe there, she could find answers to the meaning of her dream; her test of faith. In addition, maybe she could receive some guidance from her ancestors; guidance that would be helpful to her and her friends on their journey.

Danyal stated, "We should head left."

Bianca asked, "What?! Why?!"

Danyal explained that she felt it in her heart that it was the right way to go. "In my dreams, a voice has been telling me that my test of faith will begin. I have this feeling that my test is to take place in that world."

Mahad asked Figaro, "What elements are set to awaken in the Powhatan world?"

Figaro listed the elements. "Steadfastness, trust, faith, and spirit."

Natius asked, "What about Turbo's world?"

"What about it?" Zander asked.

"I'd really much rather face the rest of the Dark Masters so we can find Mr. Virgil and go home," Natius said.

Mahad commented, "There's one problem. We don't know where to look for Mr. Virgil."

"That's why I say we should go and take on Turbo," Natius said. "He has to have some information."

"He may not be any more cooperative than Maleficent or Jafar," Jeanette warned.

Mahad commented, "She has a good point."

Mana got an idea. "Why don't we flip a coin?"

Figaro reached into his pocket and took out a coin and gave it to Mana.

"Okay. If it's heads, we go left. If it's tails, we go right." Without waiting for any objections, she flipped the coin, caught it in her hand, and placed it over her other hand. She removes her hand and the answer is revealed to be heads. "Looks like Danyal wins."

Danyal began laughing at her triumph.

Bianca was disappointed in the choice of world and Mahad asked, "What's wrong?"

"What's wrong?" She echoed. "Mana's game is what's wrong. I agree with Natius that we should confront Turbo and have him take us to Mr. Virgil so we can find him and go home!"

Danyal confessed, "When we were falling in the Cave of Wonders, I began to have a dream of a voice telling me about my test of Faith would begin. There's a possibility that I might get some helpful advice on tracking down that man."

At first, Bianca was about to protest that the matter was irrelevant, but then she remembered that Aurora did represent the element of dreams, and that concept was urging her to support Danyal.

Natius was about to protest against the decision, but he decided to ask, "Why would the world of Pocahontas be in danger? Mr. Virgil told my class that the 1995 movie was a bad source for that research paper and he said that Gaston from Beauty and the Beast would be a more accurate depiction on what kind of man John Smith was in real life."

"That has to be the dumbest thing I ever heard." Anakin spat.

Jeanette asked, "What makes you say that?"

"John Smith was nothing like that overgrown swine." he argued.

Mahad asked, "What do you know, rodent?"

Anakin stated, "Don't ever call me a rodent. Ever again! I was turned into a small gerbil while I was in the Forbidden Castle and it was a nightmare. I had to pull off what Rémy did to that guy on a fox and he was a lot cooperative when I told him that he needed to understand what I was going through before he would start screaming like a little girl."

Omar was getting frustrated. It was time to choose a path and all this arguing was getting them nowhere.

"Maybe we should split up," Zander finally suggested.

"No!" Figaro cried. "It's important that you all stay together. If you separate, the Dark Masters will take advantage of that and turn you against each other. If that should happen, you'll only destroy yourselves for them."

Danyal stated, "He has a good point. I say we go to the left hand side. Besides there's an avaricious swine that needs to be punished."

Natius could clearly see that this was going out of his way. "Fine. Have it your way," he grumbled. With that being settled, the heroes headed to the world of the Powhatan tribe.

Danyal warned Natius, "You better not do anything stupid like planning to attack John Smith."

Natius rolled his eyes in annoyance and he asked Figaro, "Are we going to be turned into animals?"

Mahad commented, "Some of us will get killed. Different ethnical backgrounds would be frowned upon."

Figaro took out a small bag and he stated, "You guys are going to be turned into animals that are native to the state of Virginia. The reason for that is to prevent unwanted deaths."

Zander stated, "Do not turn me into a frog. It's a redundant cliché."

Figaro took out a small handful of a magical dust.

"I'd rather not be a raccoon again, considering the fact that Pocahontas already has Meeko," said Mahad.

Mahad was turned into a red fox, Zander was turned into a beaver, Danyal was turned into a magpie, Jeanette was turned into a squirrel, Bianca was turned into a rabbit and Natius was turned into a weasel.

"What about us?" Mana asked, referring to herself, Nausicaä, Anakin, Vandela, Toboé, and Omar.

Toboé was turned into a wolf, Vandela was turned into an otter, Mana was turned into a smaller red fox, Anakin was turned into a mink, Omar was turned into a moose, and Nausicaä was turned into a great horned owl.

It was hard for Omar to operate the controls now that his hands had been turned into hooves. At least the others were able to help.

Mahad asked, "At least we can move around easily. Are we ready?"

Nausicaä answered, "Let's get this trial over with."

"All right, everyone," Omar was saying, "to Jamestown. Well, the land to be Jamestown."

Danyal saw this as an opportunity to understand her element.

Meanwhile in the Forbidden Castle, Turbo was throwing a major fit about the heroes' decision.

"I can't believe they didn't choose to come to my world! What cowards!"

Jafar rolled his eyes. "You're acting like a spoiled brat who never gets his way."

"Dispatch Ratcliffe," Maleficent ordered.

Jafar asked, "What if those brats were turned into animals?"

"We've dealt with that situation before," Maleficent reminded him. "They are of no threat to us in the form of animals. Because of that, they won't be able to protect themselves."

Jafar asked, "Should we have him capture them?"

"He won't waste his time with animals," Frollo stated.

"That's why we have to inform him before we send him off," said Jafar.

Maleficent stated, "We need a poacher who can round up those children ."

"We just put Clayton in the dungeon," Jafar reminded him. "And McLeach is of no use at this point."

Frollo asked, "What about that Virgil man?"

"Or that boy Brandon," Jafar suggested. "We've been discussing using him."

"We will not use either of them." said Maleficent.

Jafar asked, "Who will tell Ratcliffe about this?"

"I'll have a servant bring him the information," said Maleficent.

A toon anthropomorphic penguin began to run to find Ratcliffe!

He found him in his own quarters. "What is it?"

"The Dark Masters have an assignment for you," the penguin answered.

"Then I shall see them at once," Ratcliffe a black haired man dressed in a maroonish purple uniform suitable for a person of a higher status, and began heading to the throne room.

Author's notes: Looks like the heroes are heading for Jamestown. Will Danyal awaken the element within her heart? Tune in next episode.
