The Inner Moka, Ben, Tsukune and the others stood face to face with FanFan and his sister, Rinrin. They mafia kin had just laid the worst possible news: Moka's seal is breaking, and if nothing is done to fix it the group could lose the Outer Moka forever. "If you do not repair the seal soon, you'll never be able to use it again." FanFan warned. Tsukune and the girls had worried expressions on their faces and both Moka and Ben gulped.
"Hold on," Tsukune stepped forward with a serious expression, "How do you know that, FanFan?"
FanFan cupped his chin and grinned, "As you know, we, the Won family, excel in the usage of the dark arts." he explained, "In particular, we specialize in barrier and sealing techniques! Therefore, even someone like me would have an idea about the condition of the seal." The teens looked surprised, sure they knew that the Won family were part of some mafia, but they never expected they were some supreme magic big shots. "So, what do you say, Tsukune? Does the new knowledge make you want to accept my 'invitation'?" he smiled, "Join the Won family, and we shall take responsibility and fix Moka's seal!"
Tsukune frowned, he didn't want to join the mafia...but-- "Fuck off." Ben replied as he gave the Won siblings the finger, "We don't want to join some mafia. If we have a problem, we'll figure it out ourselves without resorting to bad guys, thanks."
"Yeah," Tsukune chuckled nervously as he rubbed the back of his head, "Who knows, maybe if we leave it alone long enough it'll fix itself."
Moka folded her arms and shook her head, "It's not an injury. It doesn't work that way." Moka bit her thumb and sighed. I should have seen this coming. There were signs. What sort of signs? her other asked. Well, for starters when you mentioned I was talking more. It wasn't just synchronization, but also the seal weakening in general. Moka frowned more, And you mentioned your body felt weak. That you were always tired. "Omote..." Moka said quietly with a saddened look on her face as she gripped the rosary.
"Everything all good?" Ben asked.
Moka looked to ben and pointed to her ears, "Can you...Can you hear that?"
Ben shook his head in response, "I've never been able to hear her, I can only ever hear you."
Moka let out a breath of relief, "Well, thankfully she says that she is fine for now."
The other teens let out breaths of relief as well when they heard the news, especially Tsukune. "Geez, don't scare us like that." Kurumu chuckled, even she had tears beginning to form in her eyes, "Look I may not always like you, but we've already been through so much you know?"
"Great!" Ruby exclaimed as she clapped her hands giddily, "We can go discuss this with the Headmaster. He should be able to repair the seal in no time! Everything will be okay." With those words, the teens seemed convinced and relieved. They all began to turn to head back into the building so that they could get to fixing Moka's seal as soon as possible. All the teens, except Ben of course. It's...never this easy. He sighed and pointed to Rinrin, expecting the bad news.
"I'm sorry...but that may not be possible." Rinrin shook her head, the same default smile she always wore still plastered on her face. She moved forwards past everyone and got a close look at the rosary around Moka's neck. "Yes." she nodded, "This is just my analysis, but this particular seal is quite complicated. And it has weakened to the point where fixing it will not be simple." she nodded, "Yes, this may be too much for the Headmaster."
"Then we take it to Steven Strange." Ben suggested, "The dude's title is literally Sorcerer Supreme. He has all sorts of weird mystical mumbo jumbo tucked away in his Sanctum Sanctorum. He has a whole library of the history of the dark arts, compendiums of monster kind, even Calvin and Hobbes! He's the go-to guy if the Headmaster can't help."
Rinrin smirked, "I'm afraid even your Sorcerer Supreme will not be of use when it comes to repairing this seal." Rinrin paced and looked to Ruby, "And even the Headmaster will be of no help, despite being one of the Three Great Dark Rulers." she stopped pacing and faced the teens again, "No, in this case, only one person is suitable for a task such as this. A man who taught both the Headmaster and Sorcerer Supreme's of old their sealing techniques."
Ruby widened her eyes in surprise while the other teens seemed to have no idea what they were talking about at this point. "W-W-Wait a minute," Ruby stammered, "You don't mean--"
"Oh but I do." Rinrin's smirk grew into a smile, "That person was the founder of the Won family! Touhou Fuhai!" she announced, "He was once the world's greatest dark arts user as well as one of the Three Great Dark Rulers!"
All the teens gasped in surprise except for Tsukune and Ben, "Who are the Three Great Dark Rulers?" Tsukune asked as he leaned over to Ben.
"No idea, sounds made-up." Ben replied.
Moka took a deep breath and nodded, "Fine, I get it. You are the only one I can depend on. So...where do I have to go to meet this person?" Rinrin gave a sly smile, one that made it known she had one. Ben, realizing they were literally out of options, gulped in fear.
"SON OF A BITCH!" Ben yelled as he and the others in the club, minus Kokoa, Ruby and Gin, were placed on a private jet heading to Hong Kong. The jet was almost a foreign concept to the monsters, because of immigration laws and...other reasons, monsters have a hard time leaving the country. In the jet, Ben sat next to Moka; Tsukune sat next to Yukari; and Kurumu sat next to Mizore. Meanwhile, FanFan sat near the front and Rinrin was nowhere to be seen. The engines began to roar and, to Moka's surpise, Ben grasped her left hand that was on the arm rest while Ben's left hand was crushing the walkway armrest to form to his grip.
"A-Are you scared of flying?" Moka asked with a concerned look.
Ben, his face pale as a ghost, let out a chuckle. "Did I ever tell you that Peter's parents died in a plane crash?" Ben said nervously, "The Parkers have always had bad luck loom over their name. Peter's parents died in a plane crash, Ben was gunned down, Peter died on anther world, I'm..." Ben looked to Moka and gulped, still too scared to tell her his situation, "Worried that we're walking into the belly of the beast, with your situation. Especially since my Spider Sense is going haywire and I don't know why." Moka gave Ben a sympathetic look and turned her hand so that their palms were touching. Both the teens then interlocked their fingers to hold hands. Ben looked to Moka and she nodded. The human took a deep breath and became a little less tense, "Here we go."
"Ahhh! Scary! Planes are scary!" Kurumu shouted as she too was gripping tightly to her seat. "This is absurd! No way in hell this chunk of metal can fly!" Mizore didn't say anything and tried to keep her cool, but it was clear that she was worried about flying too.
Yukari gulped and faked a laugh, "W-W-What are you talking about, stupid? There's a lifting power that brings the aeroplane up." the plane began gaining speed as it was moving on the ground getting closer and closer to the cliffside that overlooked the blood red sea before finally lifting up and flying through the air. "See, I told you!" Yukari looked out the window to see the water just below them, "However, despite saying that these are still scary!"
Ben let out a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding. Despite a successful takeoff, Ben's Spider Sense continued to blare, and it gave him a terrible migraine. "How do you deal with that?" Moka asked.
Ben rubbed his forehead, "With what?" he winced in pain as the blaring continued.
"You're Spider Sense. You always complain that it feels a jack hammer against your head." Moka explained, "You said before that it is always going off when you are in Yokai. You seem fine with it then. So...how bad is it for you to complain now?"
Ben looked at Moka with pained expression, "You ever been shot?" Moka, thankfully, shook her head, "Good. It's awful." Ben clicked his tongue trying to come up with an analogy Moka would connect with, "Imagine the worst pain imaginable--"
"Probably childbirth." Moka mentioned.
Ben blinked in surprise. That was...the last thing I expected her to say. Ben smacked his lips, "N-No, I meant when you get doused with water and you start to get your power drained."
"Oh."
"Yeah...just imagine all that pain, but centered at the base of your skull."
Back on the runway, Ruby stood with the Headmaster and Lilith, the fairy. The trio stood and waved their goodbyes as the plane flew off further and further in the distance. "Ahhh." Ruby sighed in disappointment, "And I wanted to go too. I even stayed up all night making a stewardesses uniform." Lilith laughed at the witch who decided to go through so much trouble, but didn't even bother to ask for the time off beforehand.
The Headmaster shook his head, "Get back to work." he ordered as he turned heel and began his trek back to the academy. "Besides, we have more pressing matters at hand. The time has finally come." he sighed.
"Sir?" Ruby cocked an eyebrow in confusion as she began walking back as well.
"Kuku." the Headmaster chuckled, "Things are starting to nasty here. Especially with Fairy Tail moving again." he explained, "So I need you to investigate that."
Back on the plane, the teens seemed to start calming down. For whatever reason even Ben's Spider Sense had died down. Looking down he realized he had been gripping Moka's hand rather tightly and he quickly let go in embarrassment. "S-Sorry."
Moka, who had been looking out the window the whole time to avoid showing Ben how red her face was, nodded, "Yeah. It's no problem." Jeez. What are you looking all bashful for? You're making me embarrassed. He held your hand for so long, I thought you two were gonna fuse!
Kurumu and Mizore held on to each other for dear life until the the plane stopped shaking and it was clear they weren't dying. Kurumu was the first to open her eyes and peak around the cabin. Nothing was on fire, a tv was on, FanFan set up a karaoke booth, the bar was open and the atmosphere seemed calm. Finally she looked outside and saw the clouds and the endless horizon. "W-We're flying?"
"Yeah," Mizore nodded, "That's definitely what it looks like."
The two teens looked at each other for a quick second before jumping out of their seats, celebrating. "YA-HOO-HOO!" Kurumu cheered, "It's like we're totally going on an overseas holiday!" she clasped her hands together and smiled as her eyes beamed brightly, "Who would've thought the dream would come true so quickly." she was so happy she looked like she was gonna cry.
Yukari sighed and rubbed her head, "Kurumu, we aren't on vacation." she reminded the succubus.
FanFan popped up from his seat near the cockpit with a wide grin on his face, "What do you think?" he asked, "It's our family's private jet!" the girls and Tsukune all gasped in surprise, this led to FanFan having a bit of an inflated ego as he gave a smile that made him feel superior. "There's a special barrier set up around the plane, so we can't be seen by humans or radar!" he boasted.
"Ooh, that sounds safe." Moka said sarcastically to Ben, "God forbid we run into a passenger plane because they can't see us. Or those SHIELD fellows or..." she snapped her fingers a few times, "Isn't there some human on that Avengers team? Flys using like a metal suit?"
"Iron Man? War Machine?" Ben asked.
Moka's eyes widened slightly, "OH THERE'S TWO!" she and Ben shared a laugh as FanFan continued his explanation.
"Basically," FanFan continued, "with this machine we can enter and exit any country we want, whenever we want!" he exclaimed, gaining a clap from the teens. "And above all that is the interior, with facilities like a bar, karaoke box, and a mini theater." The interior of the plane seemed to sparkle after every mention of how great it is. "Now, it'll take five hours to reach Hong Kong, so everyone enjoy yourselves until then!"
"This is amazing!" Tsukune exclaimed, "I mean, I feel like some sort of celebrity in this thing."
"FanFan, you're like a prince!" Kurumu exclaimed as she threw her arms in the air.
Mizore nodded as she seemed a little star struck by everything in the plane, "You know, leaving FanFan aside, the Won family is pretty incredible, huh?"
Yukari snickered, "Yeah, leaving FanFan aside I have a whole new opinion of them!" FanFan could only slump his shoulders with an upset expression plastered on his face. Wait, what's that supposed to mean?
"Ahem, attention please!" Rinrin called over the intercom, "We've just left the barrier around the school. Even though we are in the air from here onwards be sure not to let your guard down, right FanFan?" FanFan shuddered slightly, Why did she only single me out? he thought with a frown.
Kurumu looked around the cabin and realized that Rinrin wasn't anywhere near them, "Um...excuse me, Rinrin? Where are you exactly?"
"Why, I'm the pilot of course!" Rinrin replied with a chuckle.
"Amazing!" Tsukune exclaimed.
"Truly talented." Mizore said with a nod.
"Quite respectable." Yukari mentioned.
Again, FanFan frowned and practically cried, "Why does big sis get all praise?"
Back with Ben and Moka, Ben watched as Moka stared outside the window in awe at the sight. "It's beautiful right?" Ben asked causing Moka to jump a little bit, "Yeah, if I could switch for any other power...well, I'd honestly choose flight." he chuckled, "Or that badass healing factor that Laura has so I don't end up with bone fragments stuck in my organs again." Moka let out a laugh, but covered her mouth so she could keep it quiet. But in the brief moment Ben saw her smile and felt his heart skip a beat. "Moka do...you like...this? I mean, being out and experiencing life."
Moka blinked a few times, "Well, yeah. I can't say it's bad. Especially with the right people around." Moka looked at Ben and gulped slightly, "Ben...be honest, do you want me to return to how things were? Would you...care if we couldn't get the other Moka back? And it was just me?"
Ben looked to Moka with a frown, "Why would you ask that? Of course I'd care." he sighed, "I mean, you guys are like my own family. I'd be devastated if we couldn't get her back."
Moka held her hands up with an apologetic expression, "You're right, I'm sorry." she clicked her tongue and adjusted her body so she faced Ben completely, "But...in your heart to you honestly prefer me to be locked away?"
Ben scoffed, "Of course not. I want nothing more than you to be out and about. I want to spend time with you like Tsukune spends time with your other. But that's the hypothetical. The reality is that if we want both of you to be around then we have to have you be sealed away...no matter how unfortunate that is."
Moka frowned, "Then...you understand that if it's like that, trying to be...us, will be more difficult." she said pointing between herself and Ben, "Like I told Tsukune before, if you want to be with me you'll have to be with both of me. You...have to know now that trying to convince my other is fruitless. She only has eyes for Tsukune...and I only have eyes for you. Doesn't that bother you? Because I'll be honest, it kinda bothers me a little bit."
"Woah, woah, woah." Ben held his hands up, "Try to calm down. Think about the implications of what you said." Moka blushed a little bit realizing what she said was really awful in hindsight, "It hurts, but yes. I'm fine with it. I'd rather lose love if it means that everyone will be okay." Ben gulped, "It's a hard decision, but if getting love means forgetting about everyone else along the way than I'd rather not take it. It wouldn't be right. I mean, the both of your are important to me...just for different reasons." Moka was shocked at what Ben was saying, Despite everything he'd still give up if it meant she was okay, huh? "But," Ben continued, "Don't think I'll give up so easily, I won't force either of you to make a decision, but that doesn't mean I can't try my best until the end. And who knows," he chuckled, "maybe I'll convince you, the both of you."
Moka smirked slightly and stood up, "I...I need a drink." she said as she began walking to the front of the cabin. When she reached the bar area she closed the curtains so she could be alone. Ben leaned his seat back and tried to get some rest, but began holding his head in pain as his Spider Sense began blaring again.
In the front just before the cockpit, Moka sat at the bar alone, continuously pouring herself drink after drink of tomato juice. "Geez, he may say he's an idiot who's bad with women...but he really knows how to say something when it matters." she chuckled as she took another drink, "'I won't give up' geez. He'd have to do a lot to get through to you though, huh?" she said as she held her rosary. I have to admit, even after what he pulled last year, Ben still finds a way to surprise me with some of the things he says. the Outer Moka replied. Moka leaned over the the counter and hovered above her glass and sighed, "'Both of you are important' geez." she smiled, "He's right, we have to fix this seal. It wouldn't be right if we didn't. But it isn't just that," Moka took another drink, "I have to be the Inner one, because when I'm in your place and I'm around the others I become careless and lose the will to fight. And when I'm with him..." she blushed, "I feel like a woman." Ura... Moka gripped her head in pain, "What the fuck is with these headaches."
Moka heard a weird sound, like crunching. Looking to her right she saw a weird creature that looked like a demented rabbit chewing at the door of the cockpit. As Moka looked at it her headache got worse. "What the hell is that?" she asked. The creature took one look at her and dashed out of the lounge and toward the main part of the cabin.
Moka dashed through the curtains and to the main cabin with a worried expression, "GUYS!" she shouted.
"What is it, Moka?" Tsukune asked with a worried expression.
"Be careful! There's some weird creature that ran through here, it went that way!" As Moka pointed the creature in question was found...burrowing itself between Kurumu's cleavage. The group stood in an embarrassed silence as the Kurumu let out a...suggestive sounding moan while the creature kept trying to burrow itself in her breasts. "Uh...yeah, that." Kurumu, out of instinct, grabbed the rabbit looking creature and spiked it into the ground.
"What was this thing doing?" Tsukune asked as he tried to keep his nose from bleeding out.
Moka sighed and rubbed her temples in frustration, "It was biting at the door leading to the cockpit." she explained.
The teens began to crowd around the mysterious creature, each one of them adorning a similarly confused expression. "Um...what is it?" Kurumu asked, "I mean, it's got long ears...so is it like some kind of rabbit?"
Moka frowned as she looked at the creature. The thing itself did look like a rabbit really, it had light brown fur, long ears and a tail. Except the tail was long and thin like a rodent and had an arrowhead shaped tuft of fur on its end. The ears were...some of the farthest things from rabbits ears. Sure they were long, but the ears pointed horizontally and texture wise it looked more leathery than fur. "It's probably some kind of beast. It definitely followed us when we got on the plane."
Kurumu, Yukari and Mizore all crowded around the small creature with apologetic looks on there faces. "Awe," Kurumu said with a slight blush, "Sorry little guy. I didn't mean to hit you with all my strength." she chuckled.
Mizore popped her head over Kurumu's shoulder and frowned, "It's not moving...do you think it's dead?" Almost immediately after she said that though, the creature seemed to spring to life and jumped back onto Kurumu's chest and tried to burrow itself in her cleavage causing the succubus to yelp in surprise. "Oh that's good. It seems to be okay after all." Mizore chuckled.
"Though it's a beast, it's really persistent for breasts." Yukari laughed.
Moka shook her head in disappointment with herself. I don't get it. she thought, I could have sworn that for a moment every fiber of my being was telling me that this thing was bad. Like, I could already see this thing attacking. Was it...was it just my imagination? She groaned in irritation as she watched the creature continue to be overly handsy with Kurumu. Well, aside from its massive lust it seems harmless. "Then I'll leave the rest to you." she said as she began walking back to the lounge area.
"What about you?" Tsukune asked with a confused expression, "Don't you want to be with us?"
Moka looked back and frowned slightly, "Sorry, I just...want to be alone for the time being."
"What?" Tsukune laughed, "C'mon it's a rare opportunity, let's play! We can do karaoke, play cards, we can wake Ben up and we could--"
"Didn't you hear me? I said not now. I have a splitting headache." Moka groaned as she aggressively closed the curtains behind her.
Back with the girls, they seemed to be overly enjoying themselves as they watched the strange creature mess around and get more handsy with Kurumu. Things really took a turn for rhe worst when the creature jumped inside Kurumu's skirt and refused to get out of it, "KYAA! He's in my skirt!" she shouted as she tried to get it out, Mizore and Yukari though, they just laughed and even praised the creature. And just when Kurumu thought things couldn't get any worse, the creature decided to hop through the front end of the skirt and start rubbing around. Needless to say, Kurumu felt very strange. She lied on her back trying to get the creature out, but she just couldn't seem to move, and the others kept laughing except dor Tsukune who was trying to keep his blood in his nose. "This is bad! This is really bad! Can you guys stop looking at me and help…or at least just stop looking at me." Kurumu pleaded with a blush on her face.
Suddenly, Ben came stumbling into the room, holding his head. "Will you please shut up. You're being so loud." he groaned, "I've had a bitch of a headache since we left and..." Ben stopped when he saw the creature rubbing around under Kurumu's skirt as well as her heavy breathing. He then looked to the girls who were laughing at their friend's expense and Tsukune trying to keep his blood in his nose. Ben quickly walked up to Kurumu and grabbed the creature under her skirt and pulled it out before he spiked it into the ground like a football. The creature then bounced off the floor and landed on the couch with a squeaking sound, like it was a chew toy. "What the hell are you guys doing!?" Ben yelled out, "How long has that thing been on board!?"
"What happened, FanFan? Things are getting noisy out there." Rinrin asked on intercom.
"Oh, big sis!" FanFan smiled, "No issues at all, nothing major in the slightest." he laughed, "Just a small little creature of a stowaway is in the cabin. Heheh, it's messing with the girls, it's quite humorous, I wish you could see it."
"I'm sorry? Did you say there is a beast on the plane?" Rinrin sounded a little flustered, "Surely it isn't an assassin right? Because there are a lot of enemies who are after our lives!"
FanFan waved his hand back and forth and scoffed, "Even though I said it was a beast it is nothing more than just a small rabbit." as he said this the creature began to innocently scratch its ear with its hind leg, "As if there's such a cute assassin, right? right?"
The creature then stopped scratching it's ear and tilted its head while looking at FanFan. "Huh? No, no, what are you talking about?" it asked, "Assassin, I'm the assassin!" the creature's sudden voice made everyone jump in surprise especially because it sounded so...weird. After it spoke the others had a weird blank stare, except for Ben who looked like he was going to have an aneurysm. "I was sent here to crash the plane!" the creature said giddily as it jumped up and down on the couch.
"C-Come on," Kurmu chuckled nervously, "Quit with the jokes already, huh?"
Tsukune cleaned his ears out with his finger and smacked his face a few times, "So, we can all hear this thing talk, right?"
"Why does it sound like Danny DeVito?" Ben asked. The creature began to grow and expand until it began to deform, quickly looking like a deflated balloon. "Hey, so I think I figured out the thing that has been triggering my Spider Sense the whole flight."
"Hahahah!" the creature laughed, "Nevertheless, your breasts were the best! Because of that...look! My body is morphing!" The creature laughed as its body continued to grow and expand starting to look like it will soon explode, "It's a shame I have to kill you, but I was ordered to make sure you don't reach the Won family. Therefore, die! I a Gremlin, an assassin from Fairy Tail!" he laughed. Once he was big enough, the Gremlin blew up and multiplied into dozens of replications of the initial Gremlin that the group saw. Gremlins, according to the monster encyclopedia Ben read in the first year, were creatures of mischief initially used to help human mechanics. However, as technology evolved and humans got smarter, the humans forgot about them. Bottom line, they are dangerous creatures of mischief.
"Holy hell, there's dozens of them!" Tsukune shouted as he would bat away Gremlins that dove towards his face.
Yukari winced as she got pummeled by a couple of the, "Fairy Tail?" she repeated, "Wait, then this thing is after us!" Yukari looked around and noticed that already the dozens upon dozens of Gremlin replicants had begun eating at the plane. "This isn't good, they are eating the fuselage! They are trying to drop the plane!" Thinking quickly, the teens got into a fighting stance and began attacking the Gremlins. Ben put on his suit and began shooting web balls at the Gremlins, hoping to stick them to the walls and prevent them from eating at the plane any more than they were. Troubles for him began when they tried to eat at his suit...TRIED. The suit proved too strong for the small creatures and Ben was able to continue sticking the Gremlins to the walls. Mizore only formed ice around just her fingers, making finger blades out of ice. She cut down the Gremlins that came near, much like Kurumu, but this is when the group came to an issue. When the Gremlins were cut or hurt in some way they would multiply.
Eventually the girls ended up being back to back with each other while Ben tried fighting the Gremlins in the ceiling. "It's no goo!" Mizore said as she tried to knock the Gremlins back, "These guys are like mud dolls. We destroy one, it multiplies then we have more problems to deal with."
Yukari clicked her tongue in frustration as she used her wand to bat away the monsters, "It's no use destroying the clones. There should be a host somewhere that's controlling all of them!"
Kurumu huffed as she tried not to cut any more of the monsters to pieces, "That's impossible!" she yelled out, "How the hell are we supposed to find the host amongst all these!?"
At that moment Moka pulled the curtains open and witnessed the chaos that had begun. "What the hell?" she asked as she watched her friends fend off against the Gremlins. One of the small monsters jumped up to attack Moka but she sent a ferocious punch that split the creature into three. "God dammit." she seethed, "This is my fault." No, Ura... "It is!" she shouted as she began to move at rapid speeds and destroy multiple of the Gremlins at once, "I noticed that guy's thirst for blood right at the start. And yet..." she scoffed, upset with herself, "I just ignored it! If it were the past me I would have killed it on site, without hesitation. It's this...womanly feeling. The feeling that makes me feel soft. Dammit! Why did he have to do this to me!" Calm down Ura! the Outer Moka warned.
Moka continued through the cabin, knocking down as many of the Gremlins as she could. She suddenly began to feel her head ringing again, only this time it was different. Time seemed to slow down as it seemed like she could sense everything happening in the cabin. The many gremlins chewing at the furniture, the gremlins being stuck to the walls thanks to Ben's webbing, finally a small trio of the Gremlins chewing at the wiring and legs of the cabinet right to her side. Her head rang more and for some reason every part of her body told her to move. "Moka look out!" Tsukune shouted as he tried to push Moka out of the way of the falling cabinet, but she rolled forward on her own. Ben, making sure Tsukune didn't get hit, shot a webline and pulled Tsukune away from the cabinet to avoid getting crushed. Moka let out a breath she didn't realize she was holding in. What the hell was that!? "I...I don't know."
"Yo, Moka!" Ben called out, "Way to use all your senses, huh?"
Looking around at the damages, FanFan grimaced at the situation, "It's too dangerous here! We should move to the next room!" Unfortunately for the teens, the next room of the cabin was just as bad as the last with dozens of Gremlin clones eat at the walls and interior of the plane. "Dammit, can't we get a break?"
Moka looked around at the situation herself and felt like things were only escalating. She went to start attacking more of the clones but stopped at the sound of her other, Ura, wait! the Outer Moka shouted, Something's strange. Just look at the Gremlins. Even though we're retreating, they aren't focusing on us but are just mindlessly eating. "What do you mean, Omote?" Moka asked. When you think about it, trying to control so many clones at once would be impossible, right? If that's the case then the clones will run on autopilot while the host runs manually. In other words, there is a difference between the two. And since there's a difference there must be a way to find the host! Outer Moka explained. So keep calm. If you feel you've become soft, then don't worry, I'm here to fill in the gaps. Just like how we'll have to be one when a decision is made, we can be one now. We may not share the same feelings for men now, but we both share the same feelings for protecting those who are precious to us. Moka gasped slightly at what her other was saying before smirking, "Yeah, Inner and Outer...together, we are one."
Suddenly the air in the cockpit started to get hard to breathe as the Gremlin had chewed through the plane to the outside. "We're losing air pressure!" Yukari shouted as it began to rush out of the plane. "Those rodents chewed through the fuselage and are heading outside!" The group could hear the Gremlins on the outside crawl and run along the side of the plane, and even saw them on the wings.
"Um, sorry to worry you," Rinrin started, a tinge of worry in her own voice, "But it seems that the creatures have reached the cockpit...oh and we're losing a wing."
"WHAT!?" everyone shouted as the plane started going into freefall and the wing barely hanging on. "I'm on it." Ben stated, and like a bolt of lightning he jumped out of the hole the Gremlins made and landed on top of the plane. "Holy shit." Ben said to himself as he saw what he guessed to be maybe one hundred or two hundred Gremlins on the plane. Looking to his right he saw the wing barely hanging on to the rest of the plane, causing it to go into a spiral. Thinking quickly, Ben web zipped himself towards the side of the plane and began to shoot weblines and attach them to the wing itself. Swinging up and around, Ben landed back on top of the plane and shot dozens of weblines to the wing and began pulling so that it leveled out again. The plane was able to stop spinning and become level once more thanks to his efforts. "Peter can land a plane, and I can keep it in the air." Ben groaned as he strained his muscles to pull the wing to the body of the plane. He then webbed his weblines to the top of the plane and wiped the top of his mask. "It ain't much, but it's honest work." as he said that his Spider Sense went off alerting him to the tail end of the plane which was now coming off like how the wing was. Ben slumped his shoulders in bewilderment before pinching the bridge of his nose, "With all this shit I go through...I'll be honest, if I don't get some sort of reward by the end of this, I'm gonna be a little bit pissed." Begrudgingly, he jumped into action and began shooting weblines to the tail so he could hold it up.
Back in the plane, the teens were panicking as the plane continued to fall. "We're still falling!" Mizore shouted as she tried to hold herself up.
"At least we aren't spinning anymore." FanFan stated as he threw up in the corner.
Amidst the panicking and worry of dying, Moka squinted her eyes as she felt like she knew what she had to do. Thinking quickly, Moka jumped into action. She jumped up to the hole in the ceiling and pulled herself through so that she made it to the roof. On top she discovered all the Gremlins destroying the plane, as well as Ben using all his strength to support the tail of the plane up while fighting off the Gremlins with his Spider Leg attachments. Well, things are looking kinda fucked, isn't it? "Moka, what are you doing!?" Kurumu shouted, "Don't be so reckless, there's nothing you can do now!"
"Oh...hey Moka!" Ben groaned, "Of you're here to help out, you mind getting rid of a couple of these guys? Or...help keep the tail up. No pressure either way." as Ben said this one of his weblines snapped and he had to quickly replace it, "Maybe just a little bit of pressure." he strained.
Moka swallowed a lump in her throat and took a deep breath. "Whether we win or lose will be determined on you, Omote...god I hope you're right." Moka unbuttoned her shirt and threw it off revealing just a frilly pink laced bra underneath.
"Moka?" Ben strained, "How's that help com--HOLY SHIT!" Ben damn near let go of the tail of the plane as he turned his head and saw Moka in just her bra and skirt. Turning back around, Ben pulled on his weblines and for whatever reason the tail felt much lighter than before. "Note to self, being horny and having primitive thoughts is the equivalent of fighting with adrenaline."
Moka scoffed, Why does the surprised look of his mask feel more embarrassing than just his regular face? Moka looked around at the sea of Gremlins, searching for the one original. Ura, there! The Outer Moka shouted, The one that's looking at us. Sure enough, just like she said, there was one singular Gremlin in the crowd staring right at Moka with a blush on its face. Moka smirked as she stared the creature down, "You came close to beating us, I'll admit that. Because of my uncertainty I let you live. But that's not happening twice, especially when every fiber of my being tells me you're the enemy." she chuckled, "In the end you are nothing more than a creature to make others believe they are many. Whereas I'm the opposite, I look like one, but I am in fact two...you just had the wrong opponent." Moka dashed forward and sent a devastating kick to the Gremlin which not only cause all the clones to disappear in one shot, but also sent the Gremlin off the plane, "LEARN YOUR PLACE!"
"SHE DID IT!" Kurumu cheered with Yukari and Mizore as the trio sat in the hole that led back into the cabin.
Moka smiled, "Thank you, Omote. We were saved because of you this time." No. After all, we still relied on your strength. Moka nodded in response, "I suppose in this instance we really became one." Moka and the girls dropped back down in the cabin where Tsukune and FanFan were waiting.
"AH! MOKA YOU DON'T HAVE A SHIRT!" Tsukune yelled in surprise, blood quickly flowing to his nose.
Moka frowned and flicked Tsukune's forehead, "Don't look idiot!" Moka walked over to her seat and pulled her bag from the overhead. Unzipping it she put on a long sleeve button up she had at the top. Moka was about to close the bag but hesitated. Looking back through the suitcase she dug to the bottom and pulled out a folded blue cloth. Unfolding it and holding it out in front of her face revealed Ben's old Scarlet Spider hoodie. Moka smiled as she looked at the sewn up cuts that were on the hoodie as well as the singe marks. Moka bit her lip and looked around the cabin to see if anyone was looking. When she was sure nobody was she quickly removed her button up shirt and replaced it with the sleeveless hoodie. To her surprise it fit perfectly. Moka quickly threw the other shirt back in her suitcase and zipped it back up.
"Thank you for the hard work everyone" Rinrin announced over the intercom. The teens, now with Moka back with them but Ben still up top, cheered. "Thanks to all of you and Mr. Reilly holding the tail, it seems we'll somehow be able to hold on to Hong Kong! But, having said that...it seems those things got in the cockpit." she chuckled nervously, "So landing is impossible and the only resort will be to crash. Please don't be mad."
"You heard the woman, move!" Moka yelled out, "Get you shit together, get ready to jump. Kurumu, grab Ben's suitcase, FanFan for the love of god summon something that can fly, Mizore be prepared to make a large ice spire for us to land on if we can't get airborne. Let's move!" the teens, not wanting to irritate Moka, quickly moved to do as they were told. Yukari moved to the cockpit and brought Rinrin to the others.
"Ugh! Why is Ben's suitcase so damn heavy!?" Kurumu complained.
"FanFan, how's that summon coming?" Moka asked with an irritated tone.
"It...it takes some time." FanFan replied nervously. "GOT IT!" FanFan said his summoning incantation and brought upon a monster that thankfully could fly.
"Good, let's go!" Moka shouted. The teens piled onto the serpent-like Chinese dragon that FanFan had managed to summon and the creature flew upwards through the hole in the cabin. "BEN!" Moka shouted, "WE'RE DONE HERE! LET GO!"
Feeling a sense of relief, Ben let go of the support webs for the tail. Almost immediately the tail flew off and the plane went into a free fall, "Oh shit!" Ben, using his adhesive ability, began running towards the back. As the plane flipped while in free fall, the tail end of the plane flipped to face the ground. "Ah shit." Ben had to slow down and stop himself from jumping towards the ground. Think Ben, think! Ben saw that the plane began to flip back towards the sky and he nodded. Running back slightly, Ben shot two weblines and attached them to the roof. He pulled himself back so the webbing was taught. Come on...come on... Ben waited until the perfect moment when he saw FanFan's summon in his sites. "NOW!" Ben let himself get slung in the air. Ben got closer to the others but he didn't quite have enough to get him back. Throwing his left hand forward Ben went to shoot a webline to attach to the monster but when he did all that could be heard was an empty click and a notification in his heads up display blinking red. "OUT!?" Ben shouted, "Oooooh, son of a bitch!"
Moka's eyes widened when she saw that Ben couldn't make it and could see from his frantic movements that he was out of Web Fluid. "Oh no! We have to get to him!" FanFan shouted as he commanded the beast to move to Ben. He won't make it. Looking to her left, Moka saw her suitcase. Moving quickly she unzipped the front most pocket where she held the Web Shooters that Ben had given her. Slipping on one of the Shooters on her right hand and clipping it in place, the pressure mechanism flipped out into her palm.
Once again, time seemed to slow for Moka. Outstretching her arm, Moka closed her left eye and aimed for Ben. She took a deep breath and everything around her fell silent, even the sights around her disappeared, in Moka's mind all she could see was her arm and Ben. Releasing her breath she did like Ben would do and applied pressure to her palm with her middle and ring fingers and fired a webline from her wrist. The web traveled down until it attached to Ben's right wrist. Time sped up again and Moka let out a chuckle of disbelief as Ben cheered for Moka. "Holy shit, I can't believe I got him." Holy shit, I can't believe you caught him.
Ben began pulling himself up to the beast by the webline Moka shot and ended up sitting next to her. "That," Ben started as he retracted his mask, "Was the most hardcore, number one badass thing I've ever seen you do!" Ben couldn't hold his excitement as he stood up on the monster and picked up Moka into a hug. "I didn't even have to teach you!"
"Okay, let go of me, perv." Moka said with a smile as she pushed herself away from Ben. Ben looked down and just noticed what Moka was wearing. Moka blushed and turned her head, "W-What...it was the first thing I saw when I opened my suitcase, okay?" she lied. Ooooh. Liar, liar, skirt on fire. Shut up! Moka blinked a few times as she looked towards the horizon, she grabbed Ben's chin and pointed his face towards where she was looking. Out on the horizon was a large bustling city with dozens of high skyscrapers and other tall buildings.
Ben had a large grin plastered on his face, "Oh yeah, this is my domain."
Rinrin smiled as she turned to the other teens on the summoned monster, "Ladies and gentleman, welcome to Hong Kong."
To be continued...
A/N: Welcome to the end of the chapter where I usually have things to tell you...I don't have anything today. But I'll ask, did you notice something weird? Like, something very strange with Moka? Hahahaha, I've literally been hinting at this since the first story and I cannot wait for the official reveal so that when it happens I can see the people like "Oh, I totally called it" and the people like "woah, what the fuck is this?"
Anyways, like I said I don't have much to say today. So have a good day guys, see you next chapter.
