The Eldest Shuzen (Part 2)
After falling to the ground from Ben's attack Akua landed on her knees. She looked up at Ben before she lifted her left thumb and slid it across her right cheek and wiped off a small streak of blood. "Just who are you?" Akua asked, now seemingly intrigued by her opponent.
Ben stood defiantly and rolled his shoulders, "My name is Spider-Man. And you better remember it because I'm gonna be the one who kicks your ass!"
Akua smirked and she stood up, "This...should be fun."
The two combatants just stared at each other, both waiting for the other to make the first move. Akua slid her legs apart slightly, her left foot going forward, she then held her left hand up the open palm facing Ben, and her right arm was bent horizontally the fingertips facing her left elbow. Ben, on the other hand, was relaxed, standing like he was ready for a stand-off at sundown. His body slanted ever so slightly to his left. Time seemed to slow down, both combatants could zone out the sounds of the crackling fire and focus only on one another. Their heartbeats, their breathing, the ever so slight tension of their muscles.
Akua tensed her body and she dashed forward, jabbing her right hand forward she was certain she would cut down her opponent. But to her surprise Ben had already repositioned his body, Akua's hand flying past his mask just millimeters away. Ben countered by sending a gut check, the force of the blow surprising Akua and forcing the air out of her body. W-What? How? Akua's thoughts were cut off Ben then sent a left palm to her face to push her away, "BANG!" Ben shouted out and before Akua knew it she was hit by what felt like bullets before her body was ensnared in webbing. Admittedly his webbing is troublesome. "GRIT YER TEETH MOTHER FUCKER!" Akua looked up in time to be met by a Superman punch from Ben so powerful it made her spit blood from her mouth as she flew back and crashed into the rubble Ben caused when he pulled it down on the Miu family earlier.

Akua gritted her teeth as she ripped through the webbing and stood up. She then spit out a glob of blood and moved her head to the side to avoid a webline coming for her face. "Mind your surroundings!" Ben shouted as he yanked on the webline, pulling the debris and pushing Akua to the ground. Akua was quick to her feet and immediately tried for a left jab, but again Ben had narrowly dodged. How? It's like he knows where my attacks will be before I send them. she thought. Akua spun and tried for a tiger palm, but her attack was redirected. Ben went for a counter jab to her face, but she redirected his attack herself. Akua then grabbed Ben's wrist and twisted to the inside to try and bring him down, but Ben shifted his body weight and flipped over so he wouldn't get his arm taken off, in doing so he was able to send a kick across Akua's face which made her let go.
Ben performed several back handsprings to gain distance from his opponent, hoping he could think his next moves more carefully. When he finally landed back on his feet and got into a fighting stance again his Spider Sense immediately went off, "SHIT!" Ben shouted as he contorted his body so he could dodge a double fist strike from the vampire, "You're fast. You're like a werewolf, or me when I see a really good ero-doujin, haha." Ben joked as he tried jumping to escape again, only for Akua to end up behind him and putting him in a choke hold. "Ugh...I don't suppose we have a safeword?"
Akua, annoyed at the talking, spun in air and tossed Ben through the guard railings of the grand staircase and had him collide with a corner that lead unto a hallway. "Honestly," Akua groaned, "Are all spider monsters this annoying? Or are you just a special breed?"
Ben got to his feet, wincing from the pain in his back, Note to self: Pad the lower back more. "Nah, definitely a special breed." Ben replied, "Only a couple of us left."
Akua smirked, "I almost feel bad then...having to kill an endangered species."
Ben rolled his shoulders and chuckled, "Don't break your arm jerking your dick now. I'm not dying today." Akua dashed forward as well as Ben and both collided their forearms against each other. Strange. Akua thought, He can't be nearly as strong as me, yet it feels like when we collide he is matching me beat for beat. What is he hiding? Akua used her strength to push Ben's arm off her. She then went for a follow up by sending a jab, but Ben was able to side step out of the way. As Ben had slid to his left, Akua tried to send two quick kicks. One at his hip and one at his head. When she went for his hip, Ben flipped over her leg, and as he landed Akua was already nearing his head. However, Ben was able to dodge her attack by doing the splits and going under her leg, "Nice legs, not as good as your sister's though." Ben commented before spinning on the floor to try and trip Akua, however, the vampire was able to dodge the attack her self by performing a back handspring.
While Ben was still on the ground he shot two weblines forward and attached them to Akua's chest after she landed her back handspring, he tried to pull her forward, but Akua used her own strength to pull him towards her. Ben tried keeping himself stuck to the floor, but Akua's strength yanked him and the floorboards to her, and he even strained his shoulders a little bit in the process. Ben landed face first at Akua's feet and he quickly moved his neck to dodge Akua's hand that shot down towards him, her hand going through the floorboards.
Ben arced his back so he scorpioned himself and wrapped his legs around Akua's neck before flipping the rest of his body up. The sudden added weight made Akua stumble backward, allowing Ben to spin his body around, bending back and adhering to the ground with his hands he used his strength to flip and slam Akua into the ground. Akua growled in annoyance, "ENOUGH!" Using her strength, Akua forced Ben off her and sent him flying across the entrance. The energy exerted from Akua was so powerful it caused an I-beam to fall from the ceiling.
Ben caught the I-beam as it fell and used it like a baseball bat to swing at Akua as she was nearly in front of his face, "In Halo, this medal would be: COMBAT EVOLVED!" As he swung the beam it was completely shattered by Akua swinging her hand and breaking it. She then jabbed her hand forward and Ben nearly dodged it and watched as her index finger barely scraped against his helmet and leaving a slight scratch. Akua rotated her hips and tried to slice at Ben's torso, this time her left hand would glide across his chest slightly, however, when she hit his spider insignia, her pinky jammed and her finger nail tore off.
Ben jumped away and Akua stood, baffled, and held her hand as blood dripped down and formed a small puddle of blood droplets. Impossible. To have such durable armor would mean... She looked up and saw where she clearly scraped across his armor, a sharp line on his torso until she hit the spider which only had a small blood splatter. "That spider...it's Adamantium isn't it." Akua said in more of a statement way than a question.
"I knew you'd figure it out eventually." Ben chuckled, "Don't underestimate your opponents, you may regret it." he got into a fighting stance once again and began to slowly strafe around Akua. Can't be the first one to move, one mistake and I lose my life. Finally, his Spider Sense went off and Ben quickly dodged left, twisting his body as he did so. He didn't even see Akua move, it was as if she teleported! All he saw was her after-image vanish and the sight of her hand was right in the corner of his eye. Now! Ben placed his hand on the ground and tried to send a kick across Akua's face, but she moved her head back to avoid it. However, Ben used the jets in his boots to try and scorch Akua as his foot passed. The jets also gave Ben a boost and spun him across the room.
When Ben landed he saw Akua was rubbing her eyes due to the jet boot burners. Not wasting an opportunity, Ben fired two weblines up to the chandelier and yanked it down directly on top of Akua. Akua saw the chandelier coming down at the last second as it collided with her and broke completely, debris flying all along the ground. "Hey!" Ben called out, "You dead yet?"
"RRRRRRAAAAGH!" Akua yelled out, pushed all of the chandelier debris off her. Her aura shining so brightly it practically overtook the glow of the fire.
"Not dead, got it." Ben nodded.
"At first I thought you'd be amusing, but now I see you are just incredibly annoying!" Akua growled as she charged towards Ben, moving so fast she may as well be gliding. Ben tensed his body and took a deep breath, Spider Sense! Ben dodged left to avoid the first hand stab, then he ducked, then flipped his body around he did everything he could to avoid Akua's hands. There were a few times jer fingers would graze his armor, but thankfully only left scratches. "Move as much as you want little spider, in the end I will have what I want. If you stop now I may consider letting you live." Ben dodged another jab from Akua and countered by grabbing her arm and judo throwing her across the room. Akua spun herself in the air and landed back on her feet with grace.
"I'd much rather die than let you hurt my friends." Ben growled, "So how about I stop you here and now." Ben held his hands up and began sending a barrage of web balls towards Akua. At first the eldest Shuzen was having no issue cutting through the webbing with her hands. But as the barrage continued, the webbing began to pile up more and more on her hands, rendering her hands practically useless. "Now I got you!" Ben shot two weblines and shot himself forward and sent a kick for Akua's face which she blocked with her arms. Ben was certain he had her...but his Spider Sense began to blare.
Suddenly, Akua's hands ripped out of their web prison like it was paper. HOW? Ben thought. Akua's right hand shot forward and grabbed Ben by the jaw. "I told you, you have become an annoyance. You didn't honestly think I wouldn't have a trump card did you?" she lifted her left hand up and showed Ben the faint glow of her aura around her hand, "This ability is called the Hougetsu Jigen-Tou, a...dimensional blade if you will. With this technique I can pass through and destroy any physical object except..." she squeezed her right hand to try and crush Ben's jaw, her grip was so strong Ben could see her entire arm flexing. "Ingenious, really. To think someone like you made an entire suit that is essentially a holy weapon. For it to counteract the dimensional blade...it would have to be made by one of the three Dark Lords." she smirked. "Now...this is how things will work." she whispered, her voice not as calm before, but sounding frustrated, "I'm going to kill you. And then I'm going to take Moka, even if I have to rip her from someone's arms." Akua ran her left arm down Ben's armor until she felt his sides of his torso and noticed they were a rubber material not part of the armor. "And...if anybody else gets in my way...I'll slaughter them all."
Inside his mask, Ben's face began to contort in anger. He started coughing and felt some liquid leave his mouth (possibly blood). "Over. My. Dead. Body." he growled. "I'll stop you, and that's a promise." Ben. Dreamqueen said with a worried tone, sensing the teens emotions beginning to spike.
"Then pray for the strength to kill me." Akua cocked her left arm back before jabbing it forward to stab through the side of Ben's torso, however, her arm didn't go through like she planned. Her fingers did stab through, but not much farther as Ben used both his arms to grab hold and restrain Akua's arm from going farther.
"Fine." Ben grunted, "Against all my morals, against my better judgment. I'll throw all of that away and kill you if I have to. I'll give my life away if it means I'll protect her! I won't let you kill me, I won't let you kill my friends, and I DEFINITELY will not let you take her away!" Oh...Ben. Dreamqueen sighed. She knew push had come to shove, but...she knew that Ben was doing this to protect others. This was his last resort. Get her. Make her regret threatening Spider-Man! Ben sent out a battle cry as he started pushing Akua's hand out of his body. Akua's eyes widened in surprise, How can..? it was then that realization hit her. His suit, it was working as an inhibitor, her touching his suit for so long was shutting down her powers, making her weak. Finally, Ben pulled Akua's hand out his side and knocked her other hand off his face, he went low and wrappes his arms around the eldest Shuzen so he could lift her up, and he finishes his attack by slamming her down on one of the exposed balusters that was on the grand staircase. The wooden stake ramming straight through Akua's torso. "Scum." Ben growled, his voice becoming gravelly like Kaine's.
Ben turned to go help Tenten and Feifon, but stopped when he heard laughing. He turned his head and sighed when he saw Akua pulling the wooden baluster from her torso. "I...am very impressed. I didn't think you'd try to stake me, based purely off they way you fought now as well as how I was told you fought against Kahlua." she grunted and stood up, the wound in her torso already beginning to slowly heal, "One isssue, you missed the heart. It's a little more north. Splendid effort though." Akua took a deep breath before getting into her fighting stance again, "Now you perish."

"You want some more!?" Ben yelled out, "I'm ready, how about you!" Akua smirked and dashed straight towards Ben. Ben thought quick and kicked up one of the various pieces of chandelier debris into Akua's face. The vampire quickly cut it down but left herself open for a quick gut punch before Ben evaded. Ben then began to web and throw any debris he could, hoping to land a hit or at least distract Akua in some way. As Ben was throwing debris, he saw a rocket launcher on the ground that one of the Miu men held. Ben fired two weblines to the front entrance where he collapsed the wall earlier and yanked as hard as he could, sending the piece of the wall at Akua. This time the attack landed and Akua flew across the floor to the foot of the staircase.
Akua quickly got to her feet and tried to face Ben but saw he changed positions. When she finally found him again, her jaw dropped in disbelief. Standing in front of her, maybe ten feet away, was Ben holding a loaded rocket launcher. Akua drooped her shoulders and groaned, "Son of a--" before she could finish, Ben already fired the rocket at the floor just in front of Akua, the explosion sending her flying up the stairs.
Ben smirked and tossed the launcher away. He took a few steps forward before he felt a tightening in his chest. He tried to breathe but it was like his lungs were filled with liquid. Ben started to choke and he took his helmet off so he could cough. He coughed, and coughed so hard he began dry heaving until finally, he threw up. But what he threw up wasn't what he expected, instead it was a black liquid from earlier. Damn, not now. Ben thought. He tried to get on his feet but his body felt weak and he puked out the liquid again. Fuck...I think it's gotten worse.
Ben? Dreamqueen asked, What is this, what's wrong?
My body's acting up. Ben spit. He felt his Spider Sense go off and he gasped in surprise as he saw Akua already in front of his face. "Shit." was all he could say as Akua's hand quickly raced for his neck. Ben closed his eyes and heard something. He gulped and slowly opened his eyes to see...Akua's hand, mere inches away from his throat, stopped by a red glyph that seemed to connect to an aura that came from Ben's body. "What is..."
I'm sorry, Ben. Dreamqueen apologized, I couldn't let you die. I'm using some of your vitality to stop her, but I don't know how long it'll last. So get up! Fight! You aren't dead yet, right?
Ben smirked and cocked his left fist back, "You're damn right. You're open!" he shouted as he sent an uppercut dirrectly to Akua's jaw, the force of his punch made the eldest Shuzen stumble back, globs of blood flying from her mouth. "If you're willing to help, I'll take it, Dreamqueen." Ben webbed his helmet that was on the ground and spun around before swinging it at the side of Akua's head. She tried to defend herself, but once again her hand was caught in a magic glyph. The helmet connected with the side of Akua's head and rolled towards Ben who rushed forward and punted it back at Akua's face with a force great enough to break her nose. "YAAAAAAAAH!" Ben shouted out as he proceeded to send an almost blinding amount of punches at the vampire's gut. Akua grit her teeth as she tried to keep the air in her lungs. She eventually spartan kicked Ben backward onto his back to finally get a chance to breathe.
Ben had slid along the ground and landed near the front wall, next to his helmet which he quickly put on. "Mr. Reilly," Tenten called. Ben turned his head to her downed form and watched her slide him two TEC-9s. "Take these." Ben took a breath and grabbed them as Akua began to approach.
"Wade, this is for you." Ben turned and aimed the guns at Akua as she dove towards him, "JUST LIKE DEADPOOL!" he shouted. Ben pulled the triggers and unloaded both magazines into Akua's chest and watched as the vampire collapsed to her back. Ben let put several deep breaths, watching the body. He mentally counted to ten and saw no movement, with that he took another deep breath. Ben dropped to two guns and got to his feet, wiping off some of the dust and soot that was on him. "What a pain in the ass." he mumbled.
Once again, Ben turned to help Tenten and Feifon but stopped when his Spider Sense began blaring. "UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH." Ben groaned, "Will you ever. FUCKING. DIE!?!?"
"Mr. Reilly, it's no use." Tenten coughed out, "She's too powerful. The technique she's using was created by Touhou Fuhai himself."
"I don't care if she had powers given to her by Mephisto himself, I'm not letting her get to Moka and the others." Ben rolled his shoulders a few times before getting back into a fighting stance. Ben felt tired, his muscles seemed like they would give out at any moment. On top of that, he felt his breathing was becoming heavier, likely due to that...blood or sludge or whatever that he was expelling from his body. Damn...why am I so tired. She's hit me a few times, but not nearly enough to take this much out of me.
I'm sorry. Dreamqueen apologized, But as I said, if I'm to assist you, I'll have to use your vitality.
"Then let's finish this fast." Ben mumbled, "Dreamqueen, hold her!" he yelled as he fired a webline and zipped himself towards Akua. Once again the vampire felt her hands captured by red glyphs and even her feet too. Where are these coming from? Akua thought, The summoner is down and the spider hasn't shown magical abilities up until now. Ben sent a ferocious Superman punch across Akua's face with force strong enough it would obliterate a normal person's jaw. Ben then used her as a stepping stone and jumped up in the air before firing two weblines at her shoulders. The glyphs disappeared and Ben yanked Akua in the air, sending several punches to her face all while wrapping her in webbing. Ben then put his feet on Akua's chest and kick flipped her, continuously webbing her until she was in a complete cocoon, finally he finished by by sending two web strands to the ground and yanked himself down, slamming his feet into Akua's skull before slamming her into the ground.
Ben's Spider Sense went off and he tried to backflip off Akua, but her hands tore through the webbing and grabbed his ankles while he was in the air. Akua then turned and slammed Ben into the ground as hard as she could and the teen felt the air leave his lungs. He groaned and tried to get to get up but felt Akua's hand stab into his side again, only stopped from going all the way through thanks to Dreamqueen once again. Ben let out a cry of pain while he simultaneously gasped for air. He sent a kick in retaliation which was blocked by Akua's forearm, which removed her hand from Ben's side once again.
Feeling freedom in his side, Ben quickly activated his jet boots to push himself away and gain some distance between himself and the vampire. After sliding along the ground for a few meters, Ben rolled to his feet and got into a ready stance, one hand on the ground and one by his face ready to strike. "Dreamqueen, on my say so, use your magic."
Okay, but Ben...if I use my magic too much I could completely drain you. What if you can't move? Dreamqueen asked, a worried tone in her voice.
"Did I fucking stutter? Are you gonna help or not?" Ben spat. Dreamqueen didn't say anything, but Ben knew the answer. "Okay, on my mark." Ben lifted his right and and made a finger gun with his index and middle fingers pointing forward straight at Akua's chest, "Hey, she-bitch, let's finish this dance."
Akua gave a slight smile at the remark, "Oh my, I love Army of Darkness." Akua quickly dashed foward with her hand cocked back.
"NOW!" Ben shouted. Immediately another glyph appeared and stopped Akua's hand mere centimeters from Ben's face. She's moving faster. he thought as he fired a webline and slid between Akua's legs. When he was through to the other side, he got to a knee and aimed his finger gun behind his back, "BANG!" he fired two impact webbing pellets at Akua's back. Ben then rolled himself forward to gain more distance from Akua before turning to face her again.
"I'm shocked you have semi lethal webbing." Akua mentioned, "That one almost stung."
"Yeah, you're shocked alright." Ben growled. Akua cocked an eyebrow and Ben tapped the top of his left web shooter and Akua felt a shock go through her whole body. "Remote operated taser webs!" Ben yelled out as he dashed forward and landed a left hook across Akua's jaw, followed by two quick jabs to her side, he then went for an uppercut but Akua redirectred the attack and countered with a cobra strike to Ben's head. Even though Ben's suit weaked Akua's attacks, the force was still enough to give Ben whiplash.
"Holy weapon or not, I'll kill you as you stand." Akua spat as she sent another strike for Ben's head. A glyph tried to stop her hand, but the vampire noticed it was significantly weaker than the other ones. Gritting her teeth, Akua willed as much strength into her attack and broke through the magic glyph, hitting Ben in the head again.
Damn! Dreamqueen shouted, Ben you're losing too much vitality, my glyphs are beginning to lose strength.
Ben cursed to himself and tried to avoid the next attack that came towards him, but it was so fast! It was like she was moving three times faster than a moment ago. No. That's not it at all. he thought, I'm moving slower, I'm losing my strength. The attack landed directly on the spider on his chest, no damage was done to the armor, but Ben felt as though as if he was just shot at point blank range. Akua followed up with several attacks to his torso in quick succession. Dreamqueen desperately tried to make more glyphs to stop her but they would disapate upone contact. Oh no, Ben! I can't stop her! Suddenly, Akua sent a vicious right hook that connected with Ben's head and did the impossible. The force of the blow was so strong, she cracked his helmet.
A large, upside down teardrop shaped, shard broke from the left side of Ben's mask, revealing parts of his mouth all the way up to his blonde hair which was beginning to show the brown roots as well as stain red with his blood. Ben could only watch in shock as he felt his body lock up. His vision started to become blurry, but the last thing he saw was Akua spin around and send another devastating cobra strike to his chest, the force of the attack sent Ben flying backward and through the wall, knocking him out instantly, his leg hanging through the hole in the wall while the rest of his body lie outside, motionless.
Akua huffed and tapped her ear. "Come secure the 'offerings'. I'm heading for the package." she ordered as she began to make her way towards Touhou's mansion in the back. "Had me surprised for a second, I'll give him that. But his power was nowhere near enough to kill me." she smirked. As she left, several Miu men entered the room and began to secure Tenten and Feifon, while freeing any of their suspended men.
Ben slowly began to open his eyes. Everything hurt, and he could barely breathe, but something was telling him to move. Something...powerful. Something loud. Something...Ben gasped. Spider Sense! "MOKA! GUYS!" he yelled out as he got to his feet.
"Hey, we got another one over here." Ben looked through the hole to see more than a dozen Miu men with their weapons drawn, "Stop right there!" one yelled out.
Ben looked straight ahead, he was drowning everything out. Truly he was just...done. Done with Hong Kong. Done with mafia. Done with Fairy Tale. All of it. He wants to fix Moka's seal and take her back to Yokai where he and his friends can be far away from Fairy Tale. Let somebody else deal with this shit. Blade, that Elsa Bloodstone chick, fucking Ghost Rider! This was more their fight. Ben looked ahead, all the Miu men with their weapons threating to shoot. Tenten and Feifon were down. Ben's eyes twitched as his Spider Sense began to blare louder...but it wasn't the men in front of him. His eyes suddenly widened in realization. Akua was over by them. FanFan, Yukari, Rinrin. They were the only one's conscious They couldn't defend against Akua, no chance in hell. They'd be killed...Moka taken...then what?
He won't let them. No matter what. It doesn't matter anymore. "...won't let you hurt them." Ben muttered.
"What was that?" the Miu member in front of Ben asked.
Ben clenched his teeth and let out a growl, "I SAID I WON'T LET YOU HURT THEM!!!" Suddenly, Ben had dashed forward and sent a right straight to the man's face. The attack connected and all was silent. The man then took a few steps back before collapsing from the attack. Jaw missing. The floor beginning to pool with blood.
"Get him!" another member shouted out. All their weapons were up, ready to fire, but Ben was faster. Ben jumped in the air and helicoptered around, firing dozens of web balls, gunking all the barrels so they can't fire. Ben then webbed a shotgun in another member's hand and yanked it into his own. He used the now useless weapon as a bat and swung it at the thigh of another member, breaking his femur and splintering the bone through the skin; Another member charged Ben with a sword and took a swing, Ben simply held uo his forearm and watched as the sword shattered on impact. Ben then wrapped his arm around the sword arm and locked it, before jerking up and shattering the man's elbow. He then followed up by sending a headbutt. The man fell back, his face caved in from the attack; Another man tried to sneak up on Ben, but the spider teen lifted his leg and fired the jet boots across the man's face, frying the man's eyes and blinding him. Ben then took that man and through him at another before webbing them to the ground; Ben ducked another attack and sent two body shots, the man cried in pain as something cracked and he collapsed; Another man sent a punch against Ben's suit, but immediately regretted it as Ben could hear the man's entire hand shatter. He then followed up by sweeping the man's feet and kicking him into the ground; Suddenly, there was a click and Ben lifted up his left forearm to defend the exposed part of his mask. Gunfire was heard and went on for sometime. However, none of it was directed towards the spider, it was all at the Miu men.
The remaining Miu men collapsed due to their gun shor wounds and Ben could see Tenten barely holding up a gun He went to assist but she held up her hand, pointing towards Touhou' mansion. "Go. You're friends...our children. Just...go! Save them!"
Ben stood up and nodded before dashing towards his friends. His Spider Sense was still blaring, so they were still in trouble. He just prayed that also meant they were still alive.

A/N: OOOOOOOOH BOOOOOOY. What has it been? Almost a year? Sorry for going MIA for a second there I just needed...a change of scenery? I guess? I mean, it doesn't help that I had that idea for an MHA fic for like two years now. I just didn't want to wait. Then what I thought was gonna take me like four or five months took ten. Some of that had to do with work as that gave me less time to write...no that's pretty much the only excuse I have.
But um...yeah. I'm thinking I'm back. Apologies again. Not for being late, but that you guys get one action packed chapter and next chapter is fucking exposition, lol. Maybe I'll summerize it and skip straight to the next fight because the exposition is fucking tedious and only serves to introduce readers to Alucard and what he is. Anyways, see you next chapter. Hopefully in less than a year this time.
