"We're in different facilities," Izuki notices when Present Mic finally announced where everyone was going. "Well… Good luck! I love you!"

She began walking away towards her group before Kacchan grabs her wrist and pulls her into an embrace.

"You slipped up again," He murmured, his voice full of lust. "It's in places like these where you're just too hard to resist."

Izuki blushed a bright red and attempted to cover her face, but failed miserably. "Kacchan! Don't say that!"
He suddenly crushed his lips to hers, releasing the embrace after a few seconds. "Don't you dare die on me, understand?"

"I won't! I promise! Bye-bye!" She waved to him as she ran to catch up with her group, still very flustered.

She walked up to the gates as a nervous wreck. She thought about all the things that could go wrong. One of which is that she doesn't know how to control All Might's quirk that had been passed down this morning. Another one is the fact she could probably die from dehydration from how much she's sweating.

She looked around, studying the people she's paired up with, then suddenly, she saw Uraraka. She wanted to run to her and thank her for being nice to her. Usually, Izuki's the one getting tripped; not the one who gets help when they trip.

However, before Izuki could reach Uraraka, a tall man with blue hair stops her.

"She's focusing. Don't disturb her."

"Oh, goodness, you're right. Sorry, and thank you."

"Geez, you're shaking like a nervous bunny," He laughed. "You're not gonna get in with these nerves."

This pissed her off, and she activated her quirk, studying his features. "Your name is Tenya Ida. Your quirk is Engine. A huge weakness of yours is if someone were to block the engines in your calves, you would have no power. Another weakness is family."

"Is that your quirk?" Ida asked, deadpanning.

"Yeah, it's called Instructions."

Before Ida could respond, the blaring of Present Mic's voice stops them.

"Begin!" He shouts.

The door opens and everyone (Including Izuki) sprints through the entrance. However, Izuki is in the way back.

Izuki searches for a robot to kill when suddenly one springs through the wall right beside her. Immediately, she activates her quirk. "One pointer robot. Its weakness is the core in the center. If it hit it one time, it's lights out." She launched towards the robot, aiming for the center, but a blue beam beat her to it.

"Huh, maybe you should actually attack it instead of standing there," He taunts.

Angry, she ran towards the center of the fake town, where she found an endless supply of dead robots.

"The match just started," She deadpanned. "I just need one point."

"I hope thirty will be enough!" A girl huffs.

"Thirty?" Izuki screamed, tears welling in her eyes. "Oh man, I'm screwed."

Suddenly, a giant robot taller than any of the buildings in the town appears. Everyone begins screaming and running.

"How many points is that?" One person yells.

"It's the zero pointer!" Another person replies.

Izuki was about to follow the crowd, running as far away from the zero pointer as humanly possible, until she heard screams from where the robot is. She whipped her head around and saw it was Uraraka, who was stuck.

"Help! Oh God, someone help!" She screamed.

Adrenaline kicked in and thousands of strategies popped into Izuki's head. She ran towards the robot.

"Okay, I need to time this perfectly. I need to use One for All on his head. Yeah, that should be enough. Then suddenly, Izuki's quirk showed the aftermath of using One for All untrained. Her legs and arms would be broken. "Okay…That doesn't seem like a good option. But it's the easiest strategy that's popping into my head."
She uses One for All on her legs and jumped, instantly feeling her bones explode from the pressure. She didn't care about that though; She didn't even feel the pain. She soared through the air at lightning speeds. She activated One for All on her arm and punched the robot square in the face; Its whole face exploded, causing a chain reaction for the whole thing to explode. Her legs and right arm were completely shattered and now, she couldn't save herself.

"Okay, so I'm now realizing that this wasn't a good idea." Dammit, Instructions, give me good ideas!"

She fell about one hundred feet, desperately trying to think of a way to save herself. However, nothing came to mind. She accepted her fate and came to understand death.

Then, someone slapped her face, making her float about one foot above the ground. Before she fell once more.

Izuki tried to get up once more. "I just want… One point," She cried out.

Then the buzzer sounded, signaling it was over. Izuki collapsed on the floor, crying her heart out.

"Everyone was right. I will never be a hero."

A wet mouth hit her forehead and suddenly, all the pain in her body was gone. She looked up slowly and gasped.

"Recovery Girl!"

"That's my name, Sweetie. But none of the 'Me' nonsense, you really destroyed your arm. You're able to walk, but I need you to come to my office and get a sling."

"Okay, thank you."

00000

Izuki came out of the facility with tears in her eyes. Bakugo was waiting for her patiently. When he finally locked eyes with her, the first thing he noticed was the sling. He ran to her.

"I told you not to fucking die, dammit! You totally destroyed your arm!"

She looked up at him with a broken expression. "I'm not in the mood."

"How did you do?" He questioned, his voice cautious.

"How many points did you get?' She countered, still sulking.

"Seventy-seven.

"Well, I got none."

Izuki was suddenly crushed to Bakugos chest; He rubbed soothing circles on her back. "I'm so sorry."

"I'm never gonna be a hero," She sobbed. "This was the last straw. I give up! I'm going to listen to what the bullies say and kill myself! So maybe, just maybe I'll have a good quirk in the next life."

"Nope," Bakugo says, shaking his head. "I won't let you. Because if you do that, I'll have nothing to fight for. And I'll quit being a hero. Probably become a villain actually."

"But you can actually become a hero, Kacchan. I can't."

"No, Kiyoko. You can become a hero."

"Did you not hear me?" Izuki burst. "I got no points!"

Bakugo sighed. "Are you actually thinking about killing yourself?"

"I don't know," Izuki confessed quietly. "Seems like a good idea."
"Then I will stick with you for as long as it takes for you to understand that I will not let anything hurt you. I will protect you from yourself if I have to."

Izuki got on her tippy toes and gave Bakugo a loving kiss.

"I love you and congratulations on basically getting into UA. I'm proud of you."

"Thanks. Knowing you, you probably did something amazing instead of getting points."

"I guess," Izuki thought back to what happened an hour ago. "I saved someone from a zero pointer."

Bakugo snorted. "How? Did you just grab them and run? That robot was a beast; They went overboard with that."
"No, I destroyed it."

"You did what?"

"I destroyed the zero pointer," Izuki confessed, a bright smile on her face.

You did what?" Bakugo deadpanned, gripping her shoulders. "How?"

"Kacchan, would you believe me if I told you I have a quirk and just haven't had the time to tell you because I've been training excessively for this day?"

Bakugo gripped her shoulders even tighter, the eye contact was intense. "Tell me everything."

"Well…The day you got attacked by the sludge monster, I found out I had a quirk."

"That was ten months ago, Kiyoko!" He yelled. "What the hell?"

"I'm sorry, okay? I never got the guts to tell you."

He rolls his eyes. "Continue."

"My quirk is called Instructions. It makes it so when I focus on someone, I know everything about them and how to defeat them. In fighting situations, items light up and my brain shows me how to use them to defeat the opponent."

"Try it on me. Right now."

"Katsuki Bakugo. Quirk: Explosion. Your sweat in nitroglycerin, making it so you can explode things on command. Weaknesses: Cold environments; In cold places you can't sweat as much, making it difficult to use your quirk. Strong points-"

Before she could continue, Bakugo crushed her to his chest. "I knew it was a quirk."

"Huh?"

"I always knew that strategy skill of yours was a quirk?"

"Shouldn't you be pissed?"

"Oh, trust me. I am fucking furious at you. That after ten months you didn't fucking tell me you had a quirk. But I am glad you have one. I need a girlfriend who I can compete with."
"Kacchan…"

"Also, didn't you say you destroyed the zero-pointer? You couldn't have destroyed it with that quirk. You are stronger than you used to be, but not that strong."

"Um…" Izuki paused, weighing her options. "Must've been the adrenaline!"

00000

"The adrenaline?" Bakugo deadpanned, staring blankly at her.

"I don't know how I destroyed the zero pointers, Kacchan," Izuki lied.

She couldn't tell Bakugo she had two quirks. First of all, All Might clearly stated to not tell anyone; Because if word got out, the world would fall into shambles. Secondly, Bakugo is pissed enough that she has one quirk, let alone two.

Apparently, Izuki's lie wasn't that convincing, because Bakugo raised a brow and crossed his arms. "Adrenaline… Destroyed a giant robot?"

"Yeah, I mean, I broke my arm and both of my legs. It seems reasonable enough."

He sighed, "Whatever you say."

"Kacchan, I'm tired," Izuki whined, leaning on him.

"What do you want me to do about that?"

"Could you maybe… Carry me home?" She asked, forming the best possible puppy eyes she could manage.

He smiled a specific smile that a person can only see when he is around her. "Whatever you say, Kiyoko."

Izuki's face brightened and she ran behind him, jumping on his back. He caught her and continued to walk normally as if there was no weight on him.

"Shouldn't you be sad?" He questioned out of the blue.

"Do you want me to be sad?" She retorted innocently.

"No, not in the slightest. I'm just partially confused. You were devastated only a few minutes ago, but now you're just as bubbly as you usually are."

"Oh, I'm completely crushed. My dreams of being a hero are in a pile of ashes. But I'm very happy for you. And that's all that matters to me."

Bakugo squeezed her knees to his middle as a sign to show his appreciation for her comment. "You know I love you, right?"

"I know, Kacchan. That's my lifeline," She leaned forward and kissed his cheek. "You know I love you so much, right?"

"I'm always relying on that."
Bakugo walked silently holding Izuki for a few moments before they came across a large field and pond.

"I would like you to spar with me," Bakugo stated out of the blue.

"Right now?" Izuki questioned, her voice panicked. "Kacchan I'm injured."

"I know you're just bluffing about the injury," He coyly comments. "You actually really want that sling off; You don't want to explain to your mother what happened. Also, slings are itchy. You told me that when you broke your arm about a year ago."

Izuki smiled, admiring her boyfriend. "You know me so well."

"Okay, now that we got that out of the way," Bakugo turned a sharp left and walked down the hill to the open field. "Let's spar."

"Kacchan, my quirk doesn't work well in the environment. Plus, I really don't want to fight you."

"Why? You think you're too good to fight me?" He burst, his hands crackling.

"No, I actually think the opposite!"

"How so?"
"I just told you my quirk isn't compatible here; You just want to win now that I have something to compete with."
"I had no idea that your quirk didn't work well here, Kiyoko," He states, pettiness in his tone. "Maybe if you told me about your quirk in the first place, I would have some understanding about it. But no, you didn't tell me so I have no idea," He gently set Izuki on the ground. "Now... Are we sparring or what?"
"Sure," She slowly stated. "But only if I get two minutes to look at the battlefield. That way I get some chance of winning."

He shoved his hands in his pockets, "Sure, go ahead."
She looked around, activating her quirk. "This whole battlefield is about 200 feet by 300 feet. Pond takes up around one-third of the fighting space. The pond is about eight feet across, so if I try hard enough, I could jump across. The pond is also six feet deep, therefore I have to be somewhat careful because I can - in some circumstances - drown. Next to the pond are a bunch of rocks; The heaviest one weighing about sixty pounds and would take me about three seconds to lift. Over to the left are fifty-seven trees ranging in height from about ten to twenty-five feet. I can easily climb one, taking about four seconds to reach a sturdy branch," Izuki turned to her boyfriend with a strong expression. "Okay… Now about Kacchan," Bakugo's attention turned from the ground he's been staring at to her. "Obviously, his quirk is Explosions. His quirk is good in long-distance instances as well as hand-in-hand combat if he uses it the right way. His explosions are only accessible in his hands. That also means they travel from his hands, so he has to aim his arms at an exact angle to be able to hit someone long distance. Nonetheless, the more he sweats, the bigger the explosions, making it so he could possibly be lazy and still hit his target. But the explosions can only go so far, no matter how sweaty he is. Also, another weakness of his: Speed. Speed at long range is quite difficult for him to handle. His own anger is another weakness of his, the angrier he gets, the more rash and lazy your explosions get-"
Suddenly, before Izuki could use her quirk anymore, strong arms were wrapped around her waist and soft lips were at her ear.

"Times up, My Love. I've been waiting so patiently."

Izuki sighed a shaky breath and nodded. "Right. You're right I'm just going to take this off," She said, gesturing to the sling on her arm. "And then we can start."

"Why do you sound so nervous?" He questioned, releasing his hold on her so she could remove the sling.

"Because you're mad at me, so you're not going to hold back a single bit. That alone is terrifying, Kacchan. Plus, my quirk doesn't work well here, so you have the upper hand even more than you already did."

"I'm not going to hold back, you're right. But I would never do something that would seriously hurt you. And yeah, I'm pissed. But you should be able to handle yourself. You have been training hardcore for ten months; I've seen it."
She rolled her eyes. "Whatever."

Izuki activated her quirk while stretching for her battle with Bakugo. "Okay, quirk…What's the chance of survival if I were to use One for All?" Images began flashing in her mind: Dead and broken. "Okay…So no One for All if I want to live in one piece."

"Hey!" Bakugo yelled from the other side of the field. "Are you using your quirk before we start? You know that's cheating."
"I wasn't!" She lied. "I'm just waiting for you to announce when we are starting."

"I was waiting for you, Dumbass! I was giving you the advantage of letting us know when the battle starts!"
"Okay…Um… Start?" She states exactly like a question.

Immediately, the heat of Bakugo's explosions could be felt. Izuki reacted quickly as well, activating Instructions.

"I believe he'll be starting with an explosion to the left, so I'll be moving left as well; It will get me to my destination as quickly as possible."

Izuki swiftly jumps to the left at the same time Bakugo fires. His explosion barely misses Izuki.

She then jumps and climbs the trees located on the left side of the field, reaching a sturdy branch in about four seconds. As she was climbing, she accidentally cut her arm on the tree; It began to bleed pretty badly.

"Are you playing defensive, Deku?" He snarled. "It might keep you safe, but you won't win like this."
She kept quiet, not making a single sound. She felt the warmth of his explosions from under her.

She activated her quirk again. If I jump from branch to branch, I will immediately be spotted. But that doesn't matter as long as I'm fast enough. I need to jump in that direction so I can reach the pond. It will take about fifteen seconds.

She jumped and swiftly landed on another tree, not sparing a single moment before jumping to another tree.
"You think I'm fucking stupid, Deku? I can hear you, Moron!" She felt a harsh pang of hurt and the repeated nickname: Deku.

She felt his explosions from behind her but none of the hit her; Her plan was going great.

Izuki finally jumped to the ground and began to run towards the pond, however, she must've calculated something wrong because Bakugo was able to hit her with an explosion. She screamed loudly as she felt the skin on the back of her calves burn off. She fell to the floor, pretending to be really injured knowing Bakugo won't attack then.

Okay… So something went wrong, but that's fine. I've been through worse. I can still go through with my plan, but instead of jumping over the pond, I have to go through it. That's not a big deal.

She stood up quickly and bolted towards the pond, jumping into it. She dived underwater and began swimming towards the other side. She held her breath and tried not to giggle as the fish kissed her feet. She made it to the other side and used the momentum to jump out of the pond and land on her feet. As if she were a dog, she shook off the water from her hair and clothes. However, her shift was still soaking wet so she quickly took it off; Now she was only in shorts and a sports bra. Bakugo was just staring at her, with a blush Izuki could see even from the forty feet they were away from each other.

"Put your shirt on, Dumbass!" He shouts.

"I could get sick!" She yelled back.

"Are you disobeying me, Deku?" He snarls, crackling his fingers.

"I am!"

He ran towards her, just like she had planned. Izuki then picked up the sixty-pound rock, taking about three seconds to lift (And much effort), and chucked it into the river. This caused a major explosion of water. She backed up, ran as fast as she could, and jumped. Exactly how she had planned: She landed on the other side of the pond. She bolted towards the trees and jumped on one again.

"What the hell, Deku? What the fuck was that for?"

Silence. Izuki kept perfectly silent, just waiting.

He walked towards the trees, exactly how she had planned. Then, he stepped into the perfect spot for Izuki to attack.

She lept from the tree and punched him square in the face. He landed on the ground from the force and Izuki landed on top of him.

"I win!" She cheered.

"How the hell?" Bakugo shouted. "Where did you come from?"
"I planned the whole thing in my head. Most of my attacks were diversions so I could get to a safer place. Sorry I played dirty, but I had no other way to win and you would have been super pissed if I just gave up or held back."

"Damn right! You fucking did play dirty, Dumbass! You had each of my moves planned out. You knew how to match ended before it even started!"
"No, I didn't," Izuki defended.

He sat, pushing her into his lap. He then noticed the blood leaking from her arm. "What the hell happened?"

"It doesn't hurt as bad as it looks. I just cut it on a tree."
"Yeah, but it's staining my clothes! Speaking of which, where the hell are yours?"
"Over there," She pointed at the pond. "It's soaking wet; I'm not putting it back on. I'll just change when I get home."

"Like Hell I'd let you walk around without a shirt! Some perverts would just love to take advantage of your little body," Izuki blushed, looking shamefully at the floor. "Why do you think it's okay to take off your clothes around me?"

"I…I trust you," She mutters. "I know you would never do that to me."

"Tch," Bakugo takes off his shirt, handing it to Izuki. "Put this on."

"Well, now you're shirtless!" She burst cutely, blushing a brighter red.
"Who in their right mind would take advantage of me?"

She put on Bakugo's shirt, basking in the way it made her feel. "Thank you, Kacchan."

"Whatever. Back to the previous point: What do you mean that you didn't plan out the whole thing? Cause I know you fucking did. So don't you dare lie to me for my damn sake."

"I didn't: I made a plan for each step. So the first step was to get to the trees. I knew you were going to go left with your explosions because that's where the trees were and you knew that was going to be my safety port. Therefore, I just had to go faster or slower than your line of fire."

"Second step?"
"Well… After I got to the trees, I plotted the second step from there. I need to be quiet up there, or I would've lost immediately. The next part of my plan was to get to the pond. I attempted to use the momentum from my jump off the trees to jump over the pond before your explosions caught up to me, but that's not what happened."
"So if that's the case, was it your plan to get hit by my explosions?" He touched her burned calves and Izuki pushed his hands away, wincing.

"No that wasn't my plan; my quirk hiccups and calculated something wrong. So... I got hit by you. Since I got hit by you, I couldn't fully jump over the pond without retracing my steps. Therefore, I had to jump into the pond. Taking off my shirt wasn't a part of my plan, it was just annoying me. But it worked in my favor because it gave me enough time to distract you with the water explosion."

"Damn, that quirk is powerful."

"I'm sorry," Izuki confessed.

"Why the hell are you sorry?"

"I won, you must be really mad at me for that."

"I'm not mad you won, I let you win," She snapped his eyes up to meet his. "I wanted to see your quirk in action, so I let you win. I just wanted to see how you managed to win."

"But you said you wouldn't hold back."

"That was only to scare you, Dumbass."

"No fair!" She whined, standing up. She winced, for the adrenaline had faded and she could finally feel the pain in her legs again.

"You're in pain," Bakugo pointed out. "I'll carry you home."

"No, it's fine. I'm fine. I'll get over it. It's not that bad."

"Bullshit. Sit," He said, pointing at the ground. Izuki gave him a side-eye glare. "Sit right now. I'm going to grab your shirt, then I'll carry you home."

Izuki sat down obediently and watched her boyfriend use his explosions to fly through the air. Then suddenly, her quirk activated without her permission.

"New data on Bakugo? He can use his explosions to fly in the air. He uses it like someone were to row a boat: Use the explosion on one side, then the other. It tires him out easily, though"

Bakugo waved a worried hand in front of Izuki's face. "Kiyoko?" Her eyes snapped up to meet his. "You okay?"
"Did you just use the flying explosions thing for the first time?"

"Yeah, I did. I thought it would be an easy way to fly over bodies of water and stuff like that. But it really-"

"Tires you out quickly, though"

Bakugo looks at her wide-eyed. "How did you know that?"

"When you started flying like that, my quirk activated and told me there was new data on you. Then it gave me all the information on your flying ability."

"Interesting, so you don't know the things a person can do in the future, but things they already know how to do?"

She smiled brightly, nodding. "Right!"

"Good."

"What do you mean, good?" She asked, tilting her head to the side.

"Your quirk finally has a limitation. At first, it looked like you could literally see the future."
"Like Nighteye?"
"But way more powerful. C'mon, let's get you home. It's getting late."

Izuki stood up, the pain in her legs was almost unbearable, but she didn't want to seem weak. "Kacchan, I can walk."

"Then why the hell are you crying?"
She touched her cheek and just like he said, wet streaks were streaming from her eyes.

"Piggyback or bridal? I'll let you choose."
"Kacchan, I can walk," Izuki repeated.

Bakugo suddenly put his arms around the underside of her knees and her upper waist and lifted her up. "You didn't answer, so I chose. And I pick bridal."

"I want to walk home."

"You're literally crying, Kiyoko. Let me carry you home."

She crossed her arms, and pouted, avoiding eye contact. Bakugo leaned down and kissed her.

"Why did you…?" She questioned once their kiss had concluded.
"Like a need a reason to kiss my girlfriend. But if you really want to know, you were looking adorable: Wearing my shirt, in my arms, while you were pouting. It was irresistible."

She blushed a deep, vibrant red and covered her face. "Don't say things like that."

"I can say whatever the hell I want."

They start making their embark home, which will take them about thirty minutes.

Bakugo looked down at Izuki, she looked deep in thought and mildly upset.

"What's wrong?"

She shook her head, looking up at him. Her eyes were glossy. "Nothing."

"Bullshit. It looked like something was clearly bothering you: Tell me."

She took a deep breath and shakily exhaled. "Why did you call me Deku?"
"I already told you why. It was a rude spin-off of your name. And because of me, you got your name changed from Izuku Midoriya to Izuki Midoriya."

"I didn't mean back then. I meant when we were sparing."

"Oh, yeah. I just thought it would get you angry."
"I see," Izuki mopped, allowing the tears to fall from her eyes.

"I'm assuming it hurt your heart rather than making you angry."
Izuki nodded, a sob ripping from her chest. "I really don't like when you call me that. All the kids in school call me Deku, and it made me think you were turning on me too. It was scary, Kacchan."
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean it that way."

"I know you didn't mean it. I just wanted to get that off my chest," She wiped away her tears.

"I wouldn't turn on you, Kiyoko. Not for anyone in that shit school."

She smiled lightly. "Thank you, Kacchan."

They walked in comfortable silence for a few moments.

"Did anything weird happened while you were at UA?" Izuki asked.

"Not really. People tried hitting on me. I just rolled my eyes, not wanting to explain that I already have someone more adorable than they can dream of. What about you, anything weird?"
"I got asked out by a girl and the weird part was I didn't know if they were joking or not."

"Are you straight, Izuki?"

She shook her head. "I'm bisexual, but you don't have to worry about me leaving you for anyone?"

"Damn right. You belong to me."

"I know that, but don't forget that you belong to me too."
"Wouldn't think otherwise."

00000

Eventually, they reach Izuki's house. Bakugo set Izuki down, after much questioning if she was okay to walk. Forgetting her keys in her room this morning, she knocks on the door. Her mother quickly answers.

"Izuki! And Bakugo. How was the entrance exam? And what in the heavens happened to your arm?" She looked down, noticing the burn marks on her legs. "And your legs?"

"We fought?" Bakugo mentions casually. "I'm here to patch her up."

"You beat up my daughter?"

"No, Mom. No. We did fight, but it wasn't an angry fight. We just spared.

Her mother looked like she was about to explode.

"Mom?" She asks, worried.

"You are quirkless, Izuki!" She screamed. Izuki (And Bakugo) flinched. "I tried to be nice about it for thirteen years! But you are quirkless! And that means you cannot be a hero! Yet you still try everything you can to become one! And now you're letting your ridiculous boyfriend -who has a really good quirk - beat you up in hopes of becoming stronger. I don't want you dead so please… Please stop!"
"Izuki does have a quirk," Bakugo snarled. "Izuki is your daughter with a dream and you dare tell her she can't become a hero. She has a quirk and a damn good one! We spared for me to see how powerful her quirk is. So how dare you tell your own damn daughter that she can't follow her dreams!"
"You have a quirk?" Her mother questioned, dumbfounded.

"I do, Mom. It's called Instructions. I can make perfect plans in my head and read people's quirks."

"Izuki…My daughter, why did you not tell me about this?"

"Because I found out about it recently and I've been training it up for this day! And I failed; My dream is ruined! So will you please stop yelling at me, Mom?
"You do not yell at your mother that way!"
This is when Bakugo steps in; He picks up Izuki once more and carried her to the kitchen.

"Your daughter is injured. Maybe you should take care of her before you yell at her."

He set her down on the kitchen counter and left for a brief second to grab the first aid things. He handed the stuff to her and picked her up once more.

"I'm going to take care of her injuries and lead, but just to leave you to know, I won't let you tell at her. Especially when she's hurt mentally and physically.

He took her to her room. With him being there so many times as a kid, it's like second nature. He set her down on her bed.

"Damn, your All Might collection has grown even more if that's humanly possible." She laughed lightly while wiping the tears from her face.

"You don't need to do this. I can do it myself."

"But I'm the one who caused these injuries, so I have to make up for them. Plus, you wouldn't know how to use this stuff."
"I've used this kit so many times," Izuki retorted. "I could become a doctor with my experience."

"How so?"
"I'm the school's sandbag, Kacchan. I need to know how to patch myself."

"Shut up!" He yelled. Izuki jumped and Bakugo lowered his voice. "Just please shut up about being bullied. I feel like such an awful boyfriend whenever you bring it up. I feel like such a fucking failure knowing you were suffering for two extra years. So shut up and don't bring it up again, because you won't need to bring it up again cause it will never happen again."

"Yes, Kacchan," She sighed, her shoulders dropped.

"Don't look so sad," He grabbed her chin gently. "I got you for life."

She gave him a small smile. "I'll try, for you."

"Now," He began, grabbing the rubbing alcohol from the kit. "Which injury hurts more: your arms or legs?"

"My legs hurt more, but my arm is ruining your shirt, so you should start on the injury on my arm."

"I don't want that shirt back. You can have it."

"But-" Izuki began, but Bakugo interrupted.

"I don't want it back," He retorted sternly. "I'm telling you to keep it. I don't want anything to remind me that I hurt you."

"Well," Izuki thought for a moment. "Can you patch my arm first? I don't want the blood to ruin my beloved new shirt too badly."
He smiled. "Whatever you say."

Bakugo grabbed a cotton pad and poured the rubbing alcohol onto the said cotton pad.

"Okay, this is going to sting a lot, so you can take my hand if you'd like."
She stays quiet, not wanting to anger him with comments such as I'm used to this pain. But only because she wanted to: She takes his hand.

He presses the pad onto her bloodied arm. She sucks in a breath through her teeth, wincing. Out of reflex, she grips his hand. She could practically feel the smirk growing across his face.

He cleans her wound and carefully wrapped it in gauze.

"Okay, this is going to sting… a lot."
He pours more alcohol onto another cotton pad. He then begins to rub the alcohol-covered pad onto her legs. She inhaled sharply and grips Bakugo's hand even hard. He was right, it stung a lot.

He finished cleaning both legs and wrapped them in gauze as well.

"There. You're done."

She smiled and stood up, wrapping her arms around his neck and then jumping on him, wrapping her legs around his waist.

He barely reacted to the weight. Instead, he placed his hands under her thighs to hold her steady.

"I love you, Kacchan. That will always stay that way, whether you like it or not."

"I'm counting on that. And I love you too. But I do need to get home before your mom has a stroke." He kissed her square on the lips. "Goodnight, Kiyoko." He set her down and immediately Izuki's face slipped into a pout. "Now don't let me leave remembering your sad face."

She blushed, pouting harder, then looking away from him.
"Kiyoko," He dragged the beloved nickname he gave her.

She blushed harder but didn't let up.

He then grabbed her chin and forced her to look at him. "You should look at me when I'm talking to you."

She stuck her tongue at him. Bakugo leaned in quickly and kissed her, allowing their tongues to dance. Izuki pulls away swiftly.

"Stop it, Kacchan!" She giggled.

"I won," He stated nonchalantly.

"You won what?" She questioned, tilting her head to the side.

"I made you smile."
"That's all you wanted?"
"I said I didn't want to leave remembering your sad face."

Izuki sighed, giggling once more. "I love you, Kacchan."

"I love you too. Goodnight."
He walked out of the room, closing the door behind me. She hears him talking to her mother, but she couldn't decipher what they were saying.

"Okay, quirk… do you know what they're saying." Images and sounds flashed through her mind. It showed the scenario: If she were to walk out and listen to their conversation. Kacchan is trying to warn her mother to stay away from Izuki.

"Kacchan…" Izuki drawled, concern in her tone.

She heard to front door click closed, so that meant Bakugo left. As if on cue, she heard a knock on her door.

"Come in, Mom."

She opens the door and closes it behind her.

"You have a quirk," She questions without it being an actual question.

"I do."

"When did you find out?"
"Ten months ago, When Kacchan got attacked by a villain."

"You found out when your abusive boyfriend got hurt?" She shouted, hot tears spilling over the edge.

Izuki froze, attempting to process what her mother just said. "You think… Kacchan is abusive?"

"Of course I do! Because he is! I mean, you just came home beaten from a fight and he doesn't even have a scratch! You need to get rid of him for your mother's health!"

"Kacchan is not abusive!" Izuki screamed. "I love him so much and I will not let you talk about him that way!"

"You have Stockholm Syndrome!"
"I do not! I am happy and that's all that should matter!"

"What matters is that you are alive!"
"I am alive, Mom! I'm right here!"
"You aren't going to be alive for long if you keep this up!"

"Mom, I'm fine."

Both parties were now crying and out of breath from screaming so loud.

"What about when you broke your arm? Or when you come home bruised and beaten after school?"
"That wasn't him!"

"Bullshit," She spat. "You're lying to your mother, Izuki."
"Mom, I would tell you if I was in an abusive relationship. But you have to believe me when I say Kacchan is not abusive."

"Then why in the world do you come home from school in so much pain? And Bakugo is nowhere in sight?"
"Because…" She thought for a moment, processing her words. "Because the school bullies me! I'm the school's punching bag!"

"Bakugo isn't the cause of your injuries."
"Not even one."
"Then why haven't you fought back?"
"Because the way it stands, they still think I have no quirk. I'm helpless in their eyes."

"Then show them you're not helpless anymore."
Izuki smiled and ran to her mother, enveloping her in a warm, loving hug. "Thank you, Mom. I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner."

"Don't ever let yourself below anyone because you are scared."

"Right."
Her mother then left the room. Izuki wiped all the tears off her face and pulled out her phone. She had about fifteen messages from Bakugo. All of them were worried messages about whether or not Izuki fell asleep or got in a fight with her mom.

"Yes, we got into a fight. But we resolved it."

He almost immediately responded.

"I can come to get you. And you can sleep at my place."
"No, that's okay. I want to come over, but I'll walk there myself. It's only a 5-minute walk.

"Are you sure?"
"Yep! Be over in a bit. Love you!"
She grabbed her backpack and marched out of the room.

Her mother gave her a look. "Where are you going?"
"Kacchan's. We have finals coming up and I need to study with him if I'm going to pass."
"Are you sleeping there?"

She sighed. "Yes Mom," Her Mom opened her mouth to begin talking about how sex at a young age is bad, but Izuki quickly cut her off. "I promise nothing about that. Just please don't talk to me about that."

"Okay then. Bye, love you."

"Love you too, Mom."

Izuki walks out of her house and into the crisp spring (Almost summer) air. She begins walking in the direction of Bakugo's house. She's been there so many times it's like second nature.

She's halfway there to his house when she sees the main three bullies from her school. Fear jolts through her system. They look over almost immediately and see her.
"Deku? Is that you? What happened to your arm and legs?" They ask, laughing at her fear.

"Kacchan and I sparred. This is the damage from it."
"Sparred our fought?" One of them asks, giggling.
"Sparred," She says simply. "We would never fight angrily like that."
"I think that's bullshit."

"Well… It's not."
One of them slaps her. "What did we say about talking back to us?"
"But I have an opinion. I am human." Another one of them attempts to slap her, but Izuki catches their hand. "I am talking right now. It's rude not to listen."
Idiot Deku. Remember your place. We have quirks and you do not."
"I have a quirk," Izuki replies casually.

"The fuck you don't!" One of them shouts. "Don't lie to us."

"I do. Asami Tori. Your quirk is speed. However, you haven't trained it up enough, so the max speed you can go is about one hundred miles an hour. Another thing: Your speed is only in your legs, so you can't hit people with your speed unless you kick them."She pauses and looks at them cockily. "Shall I continue?"
"Deku has a fucking quirk?" Another girl asked.

"Yes, Daitan Souri. Your quirk is the ability to gain any sense of an animal you touch. So if you touch a dog, you can get the nose of one. You hold a database of animals in your brain. So if you touch a horse when you were five, you can still gain the sense of one. However, the effect only lasts an hour. Weaknesses of your quirk, you can only gain senses from animals you remember the names of. And with you being one of the dumbest people ever, that's pretty difficult."

"How fucking dare you!" Asami yells. She then tries to use her quirk to kick Izuki in the face. However, she catches it.

"I'm not done talking. I told you violence is rude when someone is talking," Izuki throws Asami's foot down. "And finally you, Isao Mirosa. Your quirk is the ability to make other people lose a sense when you touch them. You can only make them lose a single sense and it only lasts thirty minutes. Also when you sneeze, the person in which your quirk is under goes back to normal. But you can use your quirk on a max of ten people at once."
"Stop it!" Asami screamed. "You're not supposed to have a quirk! You're supposed to be at our mercy! So shut up and do what the old Deku does: Shrivel in fear."
"I don't want to do that anymore," Izuki states, shrugging her shoulders.

"Well, then… We'll make you. Mirosa, go!"

Asami suddenly holds Izuki's arms back and Mirosa touches her. Izuki stops being able to see.

"I…I can't see!" She cries out as loud as she can, her voice full of fear.

"That's the point, Shithead Deku." She knees her in the stomach. "Learn your fucking place."

"Kiyoko!" Someone in the distance calls to her. She couldn't see him, but there was only one person who calls her that.

"Kacchan…"

"Shit! He knows it's us."

"I already told him everything you have done. He's known for months. That's why he stands over me so protectively at school."

"You… Fucking bitch!" Asami kicks her in the head.

Izuki screams in pain and falls to the floor, clutching her head. However, she's not too worried because she feels Bakugo's explosions. The three girls scream and begin to run away.

"You fucking assholes! Get away from her," She feels him take her hand. "Kiyoko, are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. My head hurts a bit."
"Izuki, look at me."
She smiles at the irony. "Funny thing: I can't."

"What do you mean you can't?"
"Mirosa took away my sight, that's her quirk. I'll get it back in around thirty minutes."

"Any more of your senses gone?"
"No, just sight," She reaches to grab onto him; He picks her up reverse-piggyback style. "I tried to stand up for myself; I tried to hold my own. But I couldn't."

"You held your own," Bakugo comforted, rubbing soothing circles into her back. "You showed them that I didn't need to protect you."
"Not really," Izuki moped.

"Maybe in your eyes, it seems that way, but I see something different."

"You're gonna see a lot of things different from me right now. Like right now, you see a sidewalk. And me… I can't see anything."
Bakugo chuckled. "Are you doing alright?"
"I'm just a little shaken. This whole… Not being able to see thing is quite scary."

"Will you be alright?"
"Of course, Kacchan."

Even though Izuki couldn't see him, she could practically feel the smirk on his face.

"Okay, we're at my place now," Bakugo announces.

"I know," Izuki responds, chipper.

"You can see now?"
"Nope," Izuki states, popping the 'P' sound. "I can just tell. Your house has a specific smell."
"My house smells like something?"
"Yeah, smoke."

"You asshole."
Izuki giggles, then she hears Mitsuki's voice from inside.
"Katsuki Bakugo get your ass inside here!"
"I'm coming, Old Hag!"
Izuki giggles once more.

"Oh! I didn't know you were bringing Midoriya," She excitedly brings up.

"Yeah, sorry. We didn't plan this very well," Izuki says, a sheepish smile on her face.

"No that's quite alright. Bakugo set her down.

"The fuck I won't Old Hag!"

"And why the fuck not you idiot?"
"I can't see right now," Izuki confesses, attempting to break the tension between the two fireheads.

"What do you mean can't see, Midoriya?" Mitsuki questions in a kind voice. "Is it too bright in here?"
"No, some bullies found her on the way to our house. One of them has the power to remove senses. So… they took away her sight."
Izuki heard a loud smack and then heard Bakugo yell 'Ow' at his mother.

"What did you do that for?"
"You didn't protect her, you moron."
"It's okay, Mitsuki. It will be back in about fifteen minutes."

"Oh thank goodness. You seem so calm, though. If I lost my sight, I would be freaking the fuck out."
"I feel safe around Kacchan," Izuki confessed quietly, a blush spreading across her face.

"Well," Mitsuki began, dumbfounded. "That's the first. Usually, people are afraid of this shit-head."

"Shut the fuck up, Mom! I'm taking her to my room now."
"Don't do anything to her while she's this vulnerable."
"Fuck off! I wouldn't even dream of it."
Bakugo carries Izuki into his room gently.

"I'm going to set you down now."
"Got it."

Her feet hit the carpeted floor softly and she just stood there for a moment, accessing which part of the room he set her down in. She then took off her backpack, turned left, and jumped, landing softly on his bed.

"You sure you can't see?"
"Yep, can't see a single thing. I just know your whole room like the back of my head. You set me down on the explosion part of the carpeted floor. Knowing that then I know that your bed is close to that area."

"You really know me," Bakugo sighed.

"Of course I do! You are my boyfriend after all."

She feels a weight on the bed, and leans towards it, knowing it's Bakugo. He then wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her towards him.

They stay like that for a moment, before Izuki admitted to the conversation she and her mother had.
"My mom thinks I have Stockholm Syndrome."
"The fuck? Isn't that where someone falls in love with their abuser?"
Izuki nodded.

"She doesn't think… I abuse you, right?"
"She did. But I know you don't and would never. So I just had to explain that to her."
"You're damn right about that."
Suddenly, Izuki covers her eyes; The effects of the quirk started to wear off."
"So bright…" She stated. "Kacchan, please turn off the lights."
"It's wearing off?" He questions, excited.
"Yeah, but please turn off the lights Kacchan. It's hurting my eyes."
She feels him get up, then she hears the footsteps towards the door as well as the light switch for the ceiling light. She opens her eyes once more.

"It's fuzzy, but I can see."
"Thank god."
About another minute goes by and her vision is fully back.

She looks at Bakugo, smiling. "I can see."
"About damn time."

"Well…" Izuki began, thinking. "We need to study for finals."
"We need to fucking sleep. That's what you need."
Izuki glanced at the clock: It was one in the morning. "Okay, maybe you're right."
"We can study some other day, Kiyoko. But for now, let's get some sleep."
Izuki gets up from the bed and makes her way to Bakugo's couch by his TV.

"What the hell are you doing?" Bakugo rebuked.

"Going to bed?" Izuki retorted, tilting her head to the side. "This is where I've slept for thirteen years."

"You can sleep on my bed with me, Dumbass."
"But…My mom said…And your mom said…" Izuki drawled, her voice nervous.

"I'm not going to fuck you, dammit!"

Izuki blushed madly, covering her face. "Ah! That's not what I meant!"

"Just get in bed, you Idiot."
Izuki ran towards his bed and jumped inside, covering her whole body quickly with his blanket. She felt Bakugo get comfortable in his bed and turn off the light.

"Goodnight, Kiyoko, I love you," Bakugo kissed her forehead.

"I love you too."

It took some time, but eventually, they both drifted off to sleep.

00000

It's been a few months and Izuki still hasn't received anything back from UA. That probably means that she wasn't getting into her dream school anytime soon, but that was obvious to her. However, at the same time, Bakugo hadn't received his acceptance letter.

After school, when Bakugo dropped Izuki off at her house, her mother called her into the living room.

"You got a letter from UA," Her mother announced. "I haven't touched it."
Izuki absolutely bolted towards her mother and grabbed the letter, running to her room and slamming the door shut. She ripped open the packaging and set down the weird device that was inside on her desk. She pressed the button on the center and a hologram of All Might showed up.

"Hello, Izuki Midoriya. I am All Might, and as you know, I'm here to tell you about your entrance exams. You passed the written test with flying colors, but that part was obvious. I knew you would with all your knowledge. However, you received zero hero points on the practical part of the exam. But there are way more elements on that test than just beating up robots. Here, watch this clip:"
A screen of Uraraka talking to Present Mic appeared on the hologram.

"Um…Excuse me sir, but do you have a moment to spare? So um, during the practical exam, there was a girl… Her name was Izuki Midoriya I think. She has long mossy green hair that she kept in pigtails, and she has adorable green eyes as well, and she's like… super short. Just like me, actually. Perfect height for me," She shakes her head like she's attempted to snap herself out of her thoughts. "But anyway, she rescued me and a ton of other people from the zero pointer by doing an amazing punch. But when she was trying to get up, she was saying something about getting 'At least one point.' And I feel kind of bad because she could've used the time given to get points, but instead, she saved lives, even if it's just a simulation. So that leads me to my point: Can you give her some of my points? I really want her to get in with her bravery."

"Ochaco Uraraka, there is no need to give away your points to Izuki. There are other factors in the simulation than just destroying robots. You and her will definitely get it."
Izuki's screen goes back to All Might.

"You rescued those people from that zero pointer. Therefore, the judges gave you rescue points. Izuki Midoriya, you scored seventh in the practical exam with sixty rescue points. Congratulations, you made it into UA."
Tears fill Izuki's eyes. "I did it," She quietly says.

She runs out of her room, almost bumping into her mother who was waiting quietly by the door.

"I'm sorry sweetie, but it's okay you can still become a-"
"I made it into UA!" She screamed.

Before she could hear her mom reply, she ran out of her house and towards Bakugo's. She did however hear her mother scream in excitement as she ran.

She reached Bakugo's house in less than three minutes. She pounded on the door and Mitzuki answered.

"Where's Kacchan?" She questioned, out of breath.

"In his room. He's celebrated that he made it into UA. He got first in the practical exam. Please go see him, he's in such a good mood."
Izuki flew up the stairs and burst through his door.

"Kiyoko!" He called, thrilled. "I made it into UA. Why are you here so quickly? And why do you look so excited? Don't tell me…"
"I got into UA!" She screamed, tears streaming down her face.
Arms wrapped around her waist and she was spun around the room.
"I got sixty rescue points, Kacchan."
"I'm so proud."
