"Found you, Deku!" Bakugo snarled, his hands crackling.

Izuki jumped up and looked Bakugo in the eyes, searching for a hint of mercy.
"Kacchan, I'm so sorry I kept my quirks a secret. You were pissed I had one, let alone two! Just please understand my place in this!"
"And you need to understand me, dammit! I did everything for you! Fucking everything! And you run around knowing you're not helpless anymore."
"I'm so sorry," Izuki sobbed.

"You know," Bakugo began, a sinister smile on his face. "These bracers aren't just for show. They actually store up my sweat so I can fire mass explosions. Maybe you can be the first to know how they feel." Bakugo held up one of his bracers at Izuki, but before he could fire, there was an announcement on the speakers around them.

"Bakugo don't fire those bracers in a closed space. You could kill her!"
"That's what she deserves."
He then pulled the pin that was holding all the pieces together. A mass explosion fired out, hitting Izuki directly.

White noise, ears ringing, then the screaming is all Bakugo heard. A mass collection of screaming came from Izuki and for a moment, just a moment, Bakugo wanted the fighting to end. Her pain hurt him, even at his angriest.

"Use your second quirk, Deku!" Bakugo shouted, his voice a loud growl. "Use it on me."
Izuki stood up, fighting through the immense pain she felt. For another moment, Bakugo wished the fight would be over. He wanted to kiss all the pain away and scoop her up in his arms. He desired to protect her from all evil from the world. But how could he protect her from himself?

Izuki was a wreck, to say the least. She was bleeding from most places, skin was fried off and even if it wasn't, it was burned and red.

Through all the pain, Izuki laughed. "Maybe I do have Stockholm Syndrome!" She screamed. She noticed how he flinched at her tone. "Maybe my Mom was right in some way. You're always calling me a dumbass. I mean, what kind of idiot falls in love with their abuser? With their childhood bully?"
"Izuki," Bakugo had dropped the 'Deku' act, if only for a moment. This didn't go unnoticed by Izuki, who had realized Bakugo's one and only weakness: Her. "I'm not abusive towards you. Do you think I am?"
"Of course I do!" She screamed, watching all the hope in Bakugo's eyes drain. "What kind of boyfriend burns off her girlfriend's skin in a gentle spar? What kind of boyfriend calls their girlfriend a dumbass after they tried to save his life from something that could've killed him? Hell! What kind of boyfriend beats the shit out of his girlfriend after not knowing something about her?" Bakugo's eyes widened: He hasn't heard her swear like this ever. "What kind of boyfriend are you?" She screamed at the top of her lungs. "Am I just a toy to you?"
"Fuck no!" He shouted, angry explosions shot out, but not at her. "Fuck no, Izuki! You aren't a damn toy to me." Bakugo shook his head, snapping himself out of his lovesick thoughts. "You're just trying to distract me while your partner is out there winning the mission. You aren't even taking me seriously."
"Taking you seriously?" Izuki shrieked. "Bakugo I'm trying to mend the relationship you're breaking!"
"Shut the fuck up Deku! You haven't even used your second quirk yet. Use it on me, Deku. I want to feel your quirks at full. Use it!"
Tears flowed freely down Izuki's face. She didn't want to say it, but she was scared. Scared of Bakugo, scared of hurting him, scared of breaking her arm again, but mostly, she was scared of her relationship's future.

"If that's what you want," She announced, charging up One for All in her arm.

She charged toward Bakugo, but it was never her intention to hit him. Right above her was the missile, she knew that since the beginning.

"You two, stop right now!" All Might announced on the intercom.

Bakugo held up his second bracer and pulled the pin. All the same time Izuki uppercutted her punch, shouting "Detriot Smash!"

Izuki screamed as Bakugo hit her with another full-blast explosion. Her back hit the wall and she felt her head crack from the pressure. Her vision went fuzzy but she forced herself to remain conscious.

Pressured air from Izuki's punch made a giant hole in the ceiling. She looked up, seeing Todoroki jump and touch the missile, registering the pair as the winner.

"I'm sorry Kacchan," She looked into his fear-filled eyes and smiled. "I can only use the full power of my second quirk. And if you look up, that's what would've happened to you if I was to hit you. I'm not trying to look down on you, but until I can control my quirk, please don't ask to spar." She laughed lightly and coughed, it hurt to breathe. "I didn't want to use my quirk the day we sparred at the pond because Instructions showed images of either one of us being dead, and I didn't want that. So please forgive me Kacchan. I'm sorry."
"Todoroki and Midoriya's team wins!" All Might announced.

As if on cue, Todoroki hopped down from the giant hole Izuki had made in the ceiling. "That was amazing, Izuki." He looked around, examining the damage before his eyes landed on the very unconscious and pained girl. "Izuki!" He shouted in a very panicked tone while running toward her.

"Get the fuck away from her!" Bakugo shouted, firing mini explosions at him. "I've got her."
"You're the one who did this to her! Why would I trust you with her?"
"I didn't mean to, okay? Just let me handle her."
"Why should I trust you?" Todoroki repeated.

"Why should I listen to a dumbass like you?"
Bakugo ignores anything else Todoroki has to say, instead opting for running toward his girlfriend. He picks her up and rocks her back and forth.

"Kiyoko," He cooed, not caring about anything else in the world. "Wake up, please. You're gonna be fine."
"Kiyoko?" Todoroki questioned. "How many nicknames does this girl have?"
"Her birth name is Izuku, I bullied her as a child by calling her Deku, so she had her name changed to Izuki. I started calling her Kiyoko about two years ago and her last name is Midoriya. So yeah, a few nicknames."

All Might suddenly came flying into the building, looking quite angry.

"Bakugo!" All Might scolded, a serious look on his face. "I told you not to fire the bracers and you did it anyways! You could have killed her!"
"You could have stopped the match at any point," Bakugo responded nonchalantly. "It seems like you wanted to see how this ended too."
The paramedics arrived quickly to retrieve Izuki's broken body.

"Let me carry her!" Bakugo shouted, his fingers crackling under his hold on his girlfriend.

"It's better if we carry her using the stretcher," The paramedics attempted to explain. "When you carry a person like the way you're carrying her, you risk injuring more parts of them."
All Might placed a hand on Bakugo's shoulder. "Izuki will be fine. Please let them help you."
Angry tears flowed from Bakugo's eyes. He quickly blinked them away and finally set Izuki down on the stretcher.

"Get well soon, you idiot."
Bakugo couldn't even look at Izuki as she was being wheeled away without feeling a need to sob. This, however, would ruin his reputation, so he avoided looking at her entirely. He felt unreasonably jealous at the attention she was receiving from other guys already. It's only the first day of school and a few guys (And a girl) have already shown an interest in her. He especially hated Todoroki, he showed a lot of interest already and he didn't like it.

00000

It was the end of the day and Izuki had just woken up from all the healing she received. She had a broken arm, a few broken ribs, a cracked skull, and burns all over her body. But thanks to Recovery Girl's healing all she felt now was a little throbbing in her arm and light dizziness in her head. She looked around her room and jumped when she saw Todoroki.

"What are you doing here, Todoroki? Did you get injured too? I'm so sorry I was reckless. I hope you're okay."
"No, I didn't get injured. You took all the damage and more. How are you feeling?"
"Drowsy," Izuki confessed with a laugh. "Recovery Girl's quirk is amazing, but it gets you fucking tired."
Todoroki perked a brow at her word choice. "No swearing for you. It doesn't suit you."
She smiled, giggling. "Sorry, I'm around Kacchan too much." Her smile faded. "Kacchan…"
"He's been a nervous wreck all day. He tried really hard to hide it though."
Izuki tried to sit up, but her swollen arm made her wince. Todoroki jumped up and helped her sit up.

"Thanks."
"No problem. But on the topic of Bakugo, what is he to you? I asked you that before the match, but we got interrupted."
"Kacchan," Izuki began, tears filling her eyes. "Kacchan is my boyfriend," Todoroki's eyes widened, but he concealed it quickly. "We've been dating for a little more than two years now. I love him so much, but I think he wants to end our relationship now."
"Why's that?"
"You see, my whole life I was quirkless. And I was bullied for not having a quirk by Kacchan and the rest of my elementary and middle school. But eventually, I built up the courage and confessed to Kacchan and he liked me back, so we started to date. However, about ten months ago, my quirks finally started to show up. I can only control one - you can probably guess which one - and I didn't tell him about the second one, because he would probably want to see it in action and I can't control it yet. Then when I joined UA, I didn't even think about his reaction to my second quirk and what would happen, but he did find out. And now we're here."
"Go talk to him," Todoroki pointed out the window, and Izuki saw Bakugo walking. "He's leaving right now, so go talk to him. But remember I'm here to talk as well if you ever need anything."
She grinned at Todoroki and grabbed her backpack, wincing in the process. "Thank you! And bye!"
She ran out of the nurse's office, flew down the stairs, and shoved open the front door.

"Kacchan!" Izuki called out. Bakugo's head whipped around and he made eye contact with his girlfriend. "Kacchan I need to talk to you."
"Kiyoko," Kacchan began, eyeballing her injuries with shame. "You could still be hurt. Go back inside and rest with your new boyfriend."
"New boyfriend?" Izuki questioned, tilting her head to the side. "Kacchan, you're my only boyfriend."
"Really?" Kacchan burst. "You seemed quite interested in Todoroki!"

"We got partnered up, Kacchan! I love you and only you!"
"Really?" He repeated. "You made it pretty damn clear that you really don't want me; Saying you have Stockholm Syndrome. Saying things like you're an idiot for falling in love with their bully, their abuser."
"Kacchan, I know I'm an idiot, you've told me that my whole life. But I'm your idiot! Kacchan, I love you. I just needed to tell you that you made my day horrible and I was hurting! So please, I'm sore for hiding something from you. But please, please forgive me!" Izuki screamed, tears flowing down her face at a rapid pace.

"Izuki, I'm so sorry."
The young girl closed the gap between them, and she jumped on him. Bakugo, not expecting this, fell backward, causing Izuki to be straddling his hips. Izuki grabbed his face and began kissing him everywhere on the face. Forehead, nose, lips, cheeks, temple; She wanted him to know he was loved.

He did the same: Roaming and exploring her body with his hands. He wanted him to know how much he meant to her. One day he'll show him.

The pair finally released each other after another few seconds.

"Kacchan," Izuki huffed. "I love you. And I'm sorry, but I can't tell you much about this new quirk. I wasn't born with this quirk, but I think you assumed that. I was given this quirk; It was passed down to me. It's a strength quirk and I cannot control it right now. That's all I can tell you right now."

Bakugo shrugged, still under Izuki's weight. "That's all I need to know for now, but I will know later."
"Whatever you say, Kacchan." She stood up by pushing on Bakugo's chest. Izuki then held out her hand to her boyfriend to take it. He rolled his eyes but still took her hand nonetheless. Once Bakugo was vertical, she let go of his hand and instead found home in wrapping her arms around his neck.

"I love you," Bakugo sighed, breathing in her scent.

"Izuki!" Ida and Uraraka called, running toward the girl at full speed. "Is this man hurting you? We heard screams and ran out here as fast as we could. Todoroki told us not to worry, but we didn't listen."
"No, it's okay guys. We just had some things to work out and the only way to get a point through his thick skull is to yell."

"Shut the fuck up, Dumbass," Bakugo grumbles.

"You need to stay away from Izuki, Grumpy!" Uraraka warned confidently. "Izuki is my girlfriend, whether it be now or in the future!"
"Or never," Bakugo comments, annoyed.
"Why do you say that?" Uraraka huffed, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Izuki is mine and I don't plan on letting her go anytime soon."
"Wait what?" Uraraka screams. She gripped Izuki's shoulders. "Izuki! Tell me he's lying!"
"I've been trying to tell you all day. Kacchan is my boyfriend. So I'm very sorry, but I'm unavailable."
Uraraka shrugs her shoulders, glaring at Bakugo. "I'll just have to compete to get her."
"It seems like you will have to compete with a lot more than just Bakugo. Kiminari and Mineta were talking about her…" Ida blushed and looked away. "Hero costume.

"Yeah, what the hell was up with that? It seemed like you wanted to get attention from other guys."
Izuki blushed and covered her face, embarrassed. "It wasn't my intention to look so slutty! My mom made it for me! It was one of the designs in my sketchbook, but there were plenty of other more appropriate ones in there."
"Yeah, but Bakugo totally destroyed it. Asshole," Uraraka gloated.

"Fuck off."
"Hey, calm down. I wanted to fix it anyways. I'm going to do quite a bit of changes to it because that type of attention isn't what I want from bystanders."
"What other attention do you need from people other than me?" Bakugo questions confidently with a toothy smile.

"She needs to know that there are much better options out there other than you," Uraraka commented.

"Yeah, so much better than you," Todoroki contested while walking by. He then turned his attention to Izuki. "I'm glad you talked things out. I'll see you later; Bye Izuki.

Bakugo grabbed Izuki's hand and began walking out of the school grounds. "We're going home," He grumbled.

"Okay, well, bye guys! See you tomorrow!"
Uraraka and Ida wave back at her, smiling.

Izuki looked up and smiled brightly at her boyfriend. She could tell it was going to be a fun year - a bumpy one - but a fun year. And she couldn't wait for tomorrow.
