Jet Set Go! (1)

Not all men were made equal.

This was a cold hard lesson that really stuck with him even before his Pa and Ma revealed the full depths of their large family's major ties to the Company. Back then he was just a kid who was simply conditioned to act as though having multiple mothers was the norm, doubly so that they each had powers and phenomenal skillsets which blended in perfectly with the world that he was raised in.

No, the day when he truly understood the unfairness of the world was the day his closest childhood friend was deemed an invalid in the eyes of the very society that she desperately wished to lend her aid to. It hurt him more once their so-called friends started to treat her as lesser just because she was quirkless, but that didn't compare to the betrayal that his first childhood friend had subjected her to.

It just wasn't fair at all.

Why did she have to suffer just because she was born differently? He had seen the material that his father had of the world that he raised him in, and he had still hated how his friend still suffered so long alone before their story had even began. He became disillusioned by the world of heroes after hearing of so many others who held their heroics to a golden standard and how in one of those worlds, the greatest hero and detective ever was a powerless man.

It made him sick to his stomach that this society wouldn't allow his own friend the chance to prove her worth. He had even went straight toward thinking that this society should be torn apart and rebuilt for that alone and had even asked his father to do so. He was 4 at the time so he didn't know any better and besides…his father was clear that he wasn't the type to conquer worlds willy-nilly due to how time consuming and exhausting all the management work would be.

Fortunately, his father didn't listen to his whimsical desire because after that day, he had saved his friend from another dose of their former childhood friend's bullying and had asked her a question. Why did she still want to be a hero for those who'll just persecute and belittle every effort she'll ever make.

And Izumi Midoriya's answer shocked him even as he glared after the kid that ran off once he saw that she was losing to the three bullies harassing her.

"B-Because it's what All Might would do… I-I want to make others feel happy and relieved with a smile like a real hero does… The same way I feel when I see All Might…and y-you too, Muggy-chan."

She was just so pure as always. She wasn't even blaming stuck blaming the doctors that derided her dream as foolish, nor lashed out at the one person who shared the same idol yet mocked and verbally/physically abused her for even daring to dream to be a hero as if that privilege was lost to her. She just smiled and it wasn't a reassuring one, but it was one that she wore profusely, proudly.

…That was the day that Mugen Abbot took things serious. He was still disillusioned by the world's society surrounding quirks, but he shoved that apathy down. If Izumi could still smile despite being denied her place at the starting line, then he should do that and more when becoming the type of hero that she envisioned.

It was the least that he could do for his future wife.

Mugen dreamed of one day starting his own big family like his dad and wanted Izumi to be there with him every step of the way. That's why he requested to follow in his dad's footsteps and become an Contractor for the Company. It shocked him that his parents planned that this would be the case for when they chose to mainly raise him in this world, but he was flattered and overjoyed that their expectations for him were high enough to have had no doubt that he would one day follow in his father's footsteps.

And so, Mugen trained his body, mind, and spirit for the next 10 years while juggling school, his growing relationship with Izumi, and his simmering animosity for his old childhood friend. His father's resources weren't lacking and so his starting line was more well off than the more prodigious of quirk users who were his age. His research using the manga medium that this world followed was limited by his father, who had wanted him to experience and grow from facing the unknown by himself.

Mugen pouted and moaned about how unfair it is that he was being denied the advantage that his father explicitly had when first traipsing the multiverse until his mother revealed that unlike his dad, Mugen actually had a safety net in the way of his family being there to support him. Thus, he was to be instated as an official Company Contractor upon the beginning of his world's "canon".

Now…Mugen knew that his father's line of work was far from heroic, but he's been raised and loved in a Company Contractor's household. What others would abhor; he'd find completely mundane. He was his father's son after all, Mrs. Midoriya could attest to that should he find the time to decide whether he should capture her alongside Izumi. Long story short, it was a rainy day out, so he was forced to sleepover at Izumi's place, waking up in the middle of the night, Mugen heard moaning from Mrs. Midoriya's room. He peeked in to see the Midoriya matriarch pleasuring herself then one thing led to another, Mugen lost his virginity at 12.

But the ramifications of that would be touched upon at a later date.

Now Mugen was 14 years old and an official Company Contractor for his new patron [The Archduke of Eternity]. He had never met his father's boss, but his dad did tell him that the big boss was quite "eccentric" with his workers. Given his 280 credits, Mugen now officially stripped of the defenses that were offered to him by his father and had to compensate with his own.

Independence was always a balancing act of feeling liberated and fearful about being out on your own. Still when comparing this to his oncoming future as a hero, he felt relieved that the latter won't be as stressful as the horrors of the multiverse.

That's why after he picked his perks, he set off for school, preparing for the eventful day that was downright going to happen as "canon" intended.

"Alright, kids! Listen up, you all are Middle school seniors for crying out loud!" Their homeroom teacher strode across the front of the classroom holding a stack of printouts. "You all should take this time to begin to contemplate on each of your futures and decide whether this is the path that you want to…Oh, for heaven's sake, who am I kidding…"

With a flippant flick of his wrist, their teacher tossed the forms into the air with a lackadaisical smile. "You all want to be heroes, right?"

The class erupted in affirming cheers as they displayed their colorful quirks with crazed enthusiasm. Mugen had to suppress the urge to roll his eyes as he allows a good natured smile to etch itself onto his face while raising his hand. He could show off, but that would mean potentially leveling the whole building and no true hero would ever do that.

Though he did spot a particular someone not participating in class much less paying attention. He leaned over to whisper, "What, Mimi? Not even going to raise your hand?"

"Hm? Mucchan…? O-Oh, yeah, sure…" His childhood friend and girlfriend, Izumi Midoriya absentmindedly raised her hand, her nose too deep in her notes to even notice him.

"You don't even know what you're raising your hand for…" Mugen puffed out his cheeks.

"…72…"

"We're in homeroom, Mimi…"

"If Kevlar won't be durable to last for the suit's material, then maybe an alternative can be used to…ugh, but I don't have the funds or time to even…unless I can make the Kevlar…yes, and then I can-!" Ah, and there goes Izumi's infamous muttering. Mugen could get lost all day seeing her mumble to herself, in fact, he does just that each and every day they're out on the scope for any hero activity in Musutafu City.

Looking at the fresh new notebook that she'll probably add to the collection she has at home; he saw scribbling notes for a costume while glancing through a catalog for body armor. The sketching of the suit was most definitely for a guy his size. A few weeks back, he was met with the first instance of Izumi being uncompromisingly insistent that she design his hero suit alongside her own.

He'd seen more sketches and plans for his own than hers, but he didn't doubt that someone like Izumi would have a problem. She was more tech-savvy than he ever was, so she'd probably already had hers finished.

Like a lovestruck loon, he happily leant his head against his palm and gazed at his diligent girlfriend, who scribbled away in her notebook. Ah, he still remembers the day when he first confessed to her in their junior year of middle school…

"Hey, Mimi, you want to go out with me?"

"H-Huh?" His friend's face drew a complete blank as she dumbly looked at him.

"I asked if you wanted to go out with me?" He asked had asked yet again with a hopeful smile. His smile fell once no word or even breath escaped past Izumi's lips. "Uh…Mimi? Are you oka-BWURCK!" All of a sudden, he was being drowned in a torrent of salty tears as his poor childhood friend fell to her knees crying and blubbering questions of "Are you sure?" and "Is this for real?" before shakily accepting him with a hug and a weak, "Y-Yes, pl-pl-please t-ta-take care of me, Muggy-chan."

So innocent and so pure~!

That memory will forever hold a special place in his heart for the planned eternity that he wished to share with Izumi. Just when their teacher began to settle down the students, Mugen's dreamy (and not totally creepy) staring of his girlfriend was abruptly cut off by his usual target for his ire.

"Oh, get real, Sensei. Don't go lumping me with all of these whinny extras! Everyone here already knows that compared to their weak-ass quirks, mine's in its own league!" Katsuki Bakugo leaned back in her chair with that damned cock sure leer that just radiated that obnoxious superiority of hers.

'Big whoop, you can sweat nitroglycerine while I can blow up a mountain with the tip of my finger." Being a saiyan amongst other parts of his racial biology was a massive boon to the embittered Mugen who balefully watched his former friend taken a reckless leap onto her desk. He huffed as she showed no regard for wearing a dress even if she chose to wear shorts underneath.

"Booooooooo!"

"Get over yourself, Katsuki!"

"Just because you have an amazing quirk doesn't mean you should act like hot shit!"

The blonde exploding show off soaked in all of the animosity and jealous jeers of her classmates. That's how Mugen knew that she didn't consider them a threat. Katsuki's default emotion was anger and if you actually were worth a damn in her eyes or were utter trash, then she'd blow up at you, figuratively and very literally.

"Ya done flapping your lips, extras? Good because I stopped listening to your whining about a whole second ago. May I remind you ingrates that I passed the Mock-Exams to get into UA with full marks, and I'm the only one at this crappy school who's got a chance!" Katsuki gloated with her palms flexed out. "Hell, I'll even surpass the best hero ALL MIGHT and become the strongest hero out there then from there I'll be the richest bitch in the world!"

Mugen clicked his tongue in annoyance. "Well you can check off being a bitch from your dream…"

The class fell silent, even Izumi broke herself from her hasty note taking just to gape at him. Ah crap, he said that out loud didn't he?

…Meh, not like he cared if Katsuki heard him, he could barely give a single solitary shit about her opinion.

"And just what the fuck did you say, Mu?" Ah, see? She's pissed beyond belief and primed and ready to explode his ass as he spoke. That's a sign that she considered him an actual threat, again, not like he cared.

"Does it look like I was talking to you, Kacchin?" Mugen jeered back at her red eyes that just radiated the urge to murder him. "And even if I was, what do you think you can do to me, huh?" Mugen stood up and confronted the blonde with an unamused glare.

"Better watch your mouth before I make you eat shit, dickhead!"

"Then make me unless you're nothing but all bark an no bite, Kacchin…"

The atmosphere was so thick from the tension that you could cut the very air itself with a butterknife. Neither one made the first move, but whoever struck first would kickstart a brawl that would no doubt break their entire classroom…again. Yeah, the school and teachers were quite accommodating toward students with the best of quirks.

"Abbot-san and Bakugou-san! Please do not start a fight on campus grounds, we don't want to have to call your parents in again now do we?" Thankfully their homeroom teacher was finally reaching the end of his rope with the end of their three-year madness as middle school students nearly coming to an end with their upcoming graduation.

""Tch!"" The pair shot each other a glare before retreating back to their seats.

"Muggy-chan…you promised…" Urgh, Mugen was so pissed off that he couldn't even enjoy Izumi's angered pouting as she tugged away at his uniform's sleeves.

"I tried…" He dully looked away from her.

"Y-You instigated it this time!" She quietly hissed.

"She annoyed me." Mugen countered.

"Kacchan didn't even say anything to you!"

"Correction: her existence annoyed me." Mugen sagely nodded.

"U-Ugh, w-w-why can't you two just…?" Izumi sighed.

Mugen loved how sweet and kind Izumi was, but even he had his limits and Katsuki Bakugou was one person who loved to push his limits. She's been wanting the two of them to go back to being close friends as they were as kids. Once upon a time, Mugen did consider Katsuki his bestest friend in the world, in fact, she was his first friend before Izumi and the two of them would share the dreams of getting stronger together. Then Izumi came along with the unveiling of quirks around their age at 4.

Things took a turn, and Katsuki started acting like a total jerk to everyone, especially their shared friend who didn't manifest a quirk. What broke the camel's back was the day that Katsuki shoved Izumi back down into the pond she fell in after Izumi rushed down to check if she was okay.

That was the day that he grew utterly done with Katsuki's shit, and apparently that was the day that she grew to treat him more like shit after he ignored her orders to their group of friends just to check up on the crying Izumi.

Since then, Mugen hasn't put in much effort beyond below the bare minimum to mend the relationship. It just didn't seem worth it, Katsuki wanted to bully Izumi and Mugen liked Izumi to never let that happen again. Their wants didn't align and so Mugen didn't want to bother even getting along with her.

"Oh? Speaking of prospective students trying to get into UA, Abbot-san didn't you also mention that you and Midoriya-san were interested in going to UA?" The bits of chatter that started to arise in class died once more with the teacher's query.

"Hehe, come on, Izumi don't give me that look. Of course, I'd give you a hand by getting it out there and totally not because I wanted to see Katsuki pissed off like…right now. Wow, I didn't think it was possible for her to spit fire from her eyes…"

Mugen absorbed everyone's eyes falling on him and he met their gazes with an unflinching grin. Like Bakugou, none would dare to challenge him on his opinion. After all, his "Energy" (actually) quirk was well-known around the campus and had even blown Bakugo's out of the water on more than several occasions. So he dared anyone to mock and jeer at him…

"PFFFTT! Midoriya, really?" One of their classmates began to chuckle.

GLARE!*

"And what's so funny, my guy?"

"Urp, I mean-!"

"No, go ahead and explain why you're laughing at Mimi. I'm sure it's a pretty hilarious inside joke since other people seemed to be smiling around you." A few of the students who wanted to join in on the "joke" shied away from his admonishing gaze.

"W-Well, isn't it obvious? How come Midoriya's bothering to go to a Hero School as prestigious as UA when she doesn't even have a quirk? Its pointless since she's pretty much useless in a real fight." Mugen had to refrain from just going up and chucking the guy out the window for making Izumi wilt and sink into her seat from that remark. He wasn't Katsuki who would blow up a desk for every offense, he was better than that.

"Well, do you have a quirk?" Mugen asked.

"W-W-Well, duh! Obviously, you know this, Abbot." The other student's finger's became elongated and…oh, this guy was part of Katsuki's crew of kiss-ups who loved to pick on Izumi. No wonder Mugen didn't like that soy sauce looking ass smile of his.

"True, but um…did you sign up for UA?"

"No, instead I signed up for-."

"I didn't ask you for any other bum ass school that you signed up for, I asked if you signed up for UA, specifically. Yes or No?"

"…No…"

"Ah, so I guess that makes you less than useless if a quirkless girl like Izumi has more balls to at least try the entrance exam than someone like you who has an actual quirk, yeah?" Mugen smirked as he saw the guy and a couple of others ready to deride Izumi shrink away from his accusation. Shows them right for mocking her for even trying what they don't have the guts to attempt.

"…Yeah, that's what I thought. So next time, actually think up a better joke to share because that last one was just pathetic." And like that silence and order was brought to the classroom. Mugen smiled through Izumi pinching his arm; for what reason he didn't have a clue.

Was it because he put her on the spot by openly revealing her plans?

Or maybe it was because of how he socially flayed an unimportant douche from trying to belittle her, his girlfriend?

Either way, Mugen considered this as his honest duty as her boyfriend.

"Not that I'm defending that stupid extra for talking so big than he has any right to." Bakugo glared at the long-fingered kid who shamefully avoided her gaze before she turned it right back to Mugen. "But at least he can operate by himself unlike you asshat. What? You can't work up the nerve to go to UA without your precious nerd there to egg you on?"

"No, it's because we're absolutely going to kill it and show how better we are at heroics than the loud-mouthed "extras" like you." Mugen cheekily smiled as he reached out and grabbed Izumi's hand. His poor, pure girlfriend cutely eeped at the sudden hand holding as if they were committing a lewd act in public.

Katsuki's eyes followed his hands then growled at him. "Tch! So typical, that's why you're Mu (無) after all. Can't do anything without your loser there to cheer you on and lead you by the strings. You're delusional if you think a quirkless hack like that nerd can even make it past the physical exam. You can act like her big hero all you want, but you can't pass for the both of you."

"Worry for yourself, Kacchin. Me and Mimi will pass that exam with flying colors and even get one over on you by blasting your scores out of the water."

"Like hell you will, and don't even think I've forgotten about you, nerd! You'd be doing yourself a favor by not even trying to get on my level!" Katsuki growled, her palms crackling with small explosions.

"Wow, you're absolutely right for once, Kacchin." Mugen saccharine smile worked to tick off the blonde bully. "Mimi would definitely benefit from not having to sink down to your level. I'd rather die than let that ever happen though so you should be grateful."

"Fuck you asshole! That's not what I meant!"

"Really? Could have fooled me."

"You looking to die, Mu!"

"If you're willing to take a shot at me again, then by all means. Do it. I might even feel a sting this time around."

The two former friends were primed and ready to start throwing hits as the class around them began to scoot away or prepare to vacate the classroom. Their homeroom teacher despondently tried verbally "persuading" them from destroying the room by reminding them that their parents would be called, but his words fell on deaf ears.

The one person who remained nearby the two quickly shot up from her seat and frantically waved her hands about from behind Mugen's back. "Wait, no stop you two! I-I'm heading to UA, yes, but…I'm just going for the…Support Course…!"

"…Eh?"

"Mimi, what…?"

The entire class…relaxed with the news as a majority of them had dawned expressions of realization before nodding upon figuring out some convoluted clue. They all must have been thinking "of course she'd go for the Support Department, it's the only logical conclusion alongside the General Course" right about now. Mugen didn't bother to acknowledge Katsuki's confusion morphing to that infuriating shit-eating grin as he tried to make sense of what he'd just heard.

Midoriya Izumi was…actually not even trying to go for the Hero Course?

That didn't make sense at all, he didn't put much stock in following his father's canonical timeline to the fullest, but that was the major throughline for Izumi's character. One of her best qualities for not giving up when the world deemed her invalid for not possessing a power. He wanted to ask her why she decided to choose this new path…especially without telling him, but she refused to meet his gaze.

The homeroom teacher took advantage of their conversation's lull to steer the class back on it's main course for the remainder of the day. Mugen mostly slogged through it while sending questioning glances Izumi's way while forced herself to continue drawing all over her notebook detailing a sketch of his own hero costume. The rest of the day was just them dealing with class, the heckling of Katsuki and her two mooks, and him trying to squeeze the truth out of Izumi.

He did eventually get her to break after employing the usual tactic that was a sure kill way to put her off of her game.

"TELL ME!"

"Okayokayokayokay! P-Please just get down, you're fly is wide open and everyone's staring!"

The students of Aldera Junior High passed by the awkward scene of Mugen Abbot embarrassing the quirkless pariah, Izumi Midoriya when he cornered her near the exit of the school with a patented Kabedon. None deemed to laugh at the girl, jeer at the inappropriate PDA, or step up to even "save" the furiously blushing greenette.

This was just another natural occurrence at school much to consternation of a couple few students, a particular exploding blonde was amongst these very few.

Getting down, Mugen narrowed his eyes at his close friend and crossed his arms. "Now talk…why don't you want to be a hero anymore, Mimi?"

"I-It's not like that…I just decided to be…real about what I wanted to do." Izumi sighed, pulling out one of her infamous hero notebooks from her backpack.

"Bullshit. You're too much of a hero fan to ever give up that easily. You were so hyped up to go to UA with me since we were kids." Mugen wouldn't allow her to spew such pessimistic drivel. Not after seeing how driven she's been their whole lives.

"I-I still am, Muggy-chan! I really want to go with you, its just…" She trailed before smiling. "We'll at least be attending the same school."

"But not be in the same department…" Mugen frowned even harder when Izumi once again refused to look him in the eye.

"…"

"Come on, don't leave me hanging grasping for straws. What? Are you intimidated by the Entrance Exam? Then lets just say "screw it to UA" and look into another school like Shiketsu…" Although that high school doesn't allow PDA amongst their students, if that meant Izumi could live out her goal to be a hero, then that was a sacrifice he was willing to make.

"Again, it's not like that Muggy-chan…I just…" She stammered, fumbling about trying to find the right words to say. She always gets like this when whatever she thinks might upset him or any other person. Usually, he'd find it cute but right now he was too concerned to simply watch her act like this.

Taking a deep breath, he grasped her hand.

"Eep!" Honestly, she always gets worked up whenever he does this. Its just hand holding, not anything scandalous.

"Take your time and breath, I'll talk and walk with you on our way out." He comfortingly whispered.

"…O-Okay." She meekly nodded and was led out of the school and taken down their familiar path back home.

And when Izumi finally got to spilling her heart out to him, Mugen suddenly became beside with himself in resigned frustration. 'God dammit…' It was all his fault. He would never regret or deny his outside context involvement in this world as an outside denizen, but his presence had done way too much to affect how Izumi grew. He was happy that she was happy that he was there by her side as her only friend while everyone else ditched her for being quirkless.

She was thankful for him always stepping in to save her from Katsuki's bullying.

Even his solid praises and encouragement that she can even be a hero without a quirk was something she felt eternally grateful for when not even her own mother (who didn't mean to hurt her) could work up the courage to support her.

He had one of the few positive outlets in her life and was greatly adored by her. It wasn't an exaggeration that they were stuck like glue in school should the mood take them to act intimate.

But it was because of this adoration and the multiple opportunities that his family provided for her like her father's dojo and the technological know-how that Mama Nion taught to her on a whim when he'd ask for a favor, which led to her steadfast determination to veer her path from heroics to support.

"You're just…amazing, Muggy-chan. J-Just like All Might, and whenever you saved me, I felt so happy…like when I see All Might's videos on the web." She spoke with unhidden adoration as her gaze looked far off into the distance. "I-I got to thinking that…maybe its okay if I don't get to be a hero like the pros. I know I had plans to try out the support items I fiddled around with to make, but…I had to face reality one day and when I really got to looking at it…"

She glanced at him and pulled her hand from his grip to open her Hero Training Support Notebook to show him loads of notes that carried all of the gadgets from shock gauntlets, iron soles, heat resistance gear, and so many other support gear. Each one was a planned auxiliary detail that surrounded her (admittedly better than his own crappy drawings) sketch of his planned hero costume.

"I just couldn't stop myself from thinking of all the ways that I could help you be the best, even better than All Might. Even when we were kids, you were so strong and cool like Kacchan. So, like you've done for me with all of your unwavering support, I wanted to be by your side and do all I can to help you be the greatest hero who saves everyone!"

…Mugen should've noticed the signs when she started focusing on his own plans for costume work and his future approach toward making his own agency. She had even stopped attending the lessons that his father taught at their family dojo just to pester Mama Nion for more lessons too. He had thought that she was leaning more heavily into her tech to become a hero, but no…she was doing it for him.

Someone who should have been the lucky goober who would become the hero this world needed wanted to help him become that very same hero.

SMACK!* *SMACK!*

"Buuuuuuuuuuuu~!"

"E-EH!? Muggy-chan!?" Izumi shrieked as he loudly smacked his own cheeks like a crazy man in the middle of the empty street.

'Won't do much to piss and moan about this sudden change.' Sure, it was surprising that Izumi didn't want to pursue heroing, but this new development wasn't bad nor was it good. It was just that: Change. His birth and inclusion in this world had already changed a lot of things, so what use was it to stress out over the other deviations that came.

Having an amazing person like Izumi hold such high expectations for him made him so happy. Even if his other occupation as a Contractor may be grey enough to dull the gold gilded standards of her views on heroics, he'll happily live up to hers and her family's ideals for him.

His arms lashed out to pull her into a hug, and happily grinned as she sputtered and flailed her arms around in embarrassment. "Thank you."

"I-I…No, thank you…" She calmed down long enough to smile and hug him back. Huh, they were pretty close now…perhaps it was now his chance to finally claim her first ki-!

"Mmmph!" She shoved her hand to his face and rapidly shook her head.

"N-Not yet! If we go that far now, I'll die crying!" Feh, foiled again, but in retrospect if he had followed this world's canon, then the original person to invade her mouth first would have been the slime vill-!

'You know what…canon can fucking die in a fire!' Mugen decided right then and there that he'll happily take Izumi's place as All Might's student and become the #1 Hero in the world who will save her all of her orifi-he means, who will save everyone.

Yeah…that's what his true intentions are.

"So you're not mad that I kept my plans hidden from you?" Izumi squirmed in place beside him as they continued walking down the street, hand in hand.

"Of course not, its what you want to do, and it's a bummer that we won't share the same class, but we'll at least be in the same year at the same school." Mugen grinned.

"I-I dunno…it may not be as rough as the heroics entrance exam, but the UA support department's entrance exam is just as tough. I'll be faced against the tech of other geniuses…" Izumi muttered to herself.

"Hey, don't go putting yourself down, you had Mama Nion help you and give you so many parts to make what you did. Hell, those Shock Gauntlets of yours actually hurt!" And that was coming from a Saiyan-Dragon-Human Hybrid like him. "In fact, I'll be showing off your gear when I start classes. Boom! Instant advertising and marketability along with showing how lucky UA would have you~!"

"E-Ehehehe, thanks Muggy-chan." Izumi blushed. "I also updated my specs for them too, if you wanna look at my new notes."

"Really? That's awesome, show me!"

"Hehehe, here let me just…just…" She began to blanch once she rummaged through her school bag. Amongst the stack of notebooks in there, she somehow noticed the distinct absence of one of them. "Oh…I left it at school…"

"Well, that's a bummer." Mugen sighed. "But what are you gonna do? That's life."

"No, its fine! I really want to show you so…uh…um…just go on ahead and meet me at your house's dojo! I'll run back to school and get it then meet you there!"

Mugen shook his head as his insistent girlfriend took off running down the street. "This is really not necessary!"

"Tell Eri I say hi when you see her!" Aaaand she's gone.

…Those gauntlets must really be the bee's knees if she's that desperate to show them to him. Well, this works out for him just fine. After all, it was around this area that All Might would appear and he needed to get into position without risking Izumi's safety.

Now why would he even need One for All when he's already a freaky hybrid with the biology and powers of a Saiyan Hybrid and dragon (Dragon Heart only)? It was simple, the powers he'd gain wouldn't be supplied by the Company and they were still extra powers. His father may have censured many things in regards to the world's information through its manga/anime medium but he spared no expense to tell him of the full extent of One for All's power set.

There was never such a thing as having too many skills/power as a Contractor. If you weren't being efficient, then you aren't doing your optimal best to keep up with your quota and completing your missions.

Now with that tirade out of the way…

He shut his eyes and concentrated and the energy signatures coming straight toward him from below just as he began to walk under a bridge.

"Well what do we have here… A guise in L-size…it's bigger than what I prefer but you'll have to d-!" The slime bastard villain emerged from the sewer drain ahead of him and besot him from all sides, its vile sludge desperately trying to invade his body.

Having such a liquid and intangible form meant he was invincible to the average physical brawler.

"You won't get my goodies!"

WHAAM!*

"Hfuraaaack!" Too bad the fucker was dealing with above average physical brawler with Ki. Mugen's hit sent the slime villain reeling back in surprise that it got hurt and touched.

Good.

If Mugen had any say in it, he was going to be the only one who gets to violate Izumi's mouth, not some rejected Hentai monster from off the street.

And just in time, he detected the encroaching energy signature of a waning yet pulsing source of power arriving from below.

All Might was here.

"Showtime." Mugen grinned.

AN: Well, I hope that you guys enjoyed this quick side story detailing Michael and Irene's future kid, Mugen Abbot. The premise is straightforward, the kid is more into heroics, so his focus will be in worlds like DC, Marvel, Invincible, The Boys, and prominently the world of MHA. This is just a side story that was indirectly inspired by the story "The Main Man - A Mineta SI story" on the site. Go check that out by the way...

Anyways, this MHA world is a bit AU but not by much, the only difference is that Izuku and Bakugo are chicks, and the world's been slightly calibrated with the SI's Universal Calibration so that overall society can be "somewhat tolerant" of polyamory at the very least. The MC featured is quite naive, he's fairly competent and a little warped by his unique "Family Life" by being the son of a Contractor, but he's still just a 14 year old barely breaking into being a 15 year old. He's obviously going to have his biases and lack full context especially when his dad (the SI) intentionally withheld a lot of crucial information about the MHA world just to improve his growth when faced with the unknown. Katsuki being the main example of how dense and naive he could be along with him just now figuring out that he usurped the role as "Main Protagonist" from Midoriya ages ago.
