Recap..
"I said kneel slave!" The spoiled man yells, clearly impatient.
"No can do." Sakura replies. It only seems to anger the man more. Could she even describe him as a man? He was like a spoiled child being denied candy.
Fingers curling into fists, Sakura falls into a defensive stance.
"Don't worry, I'll beat you into shape!" The celestial dragon sneers, pointing at her. "Bring her to me!" He commands the guards by his side.
Sakura dodges the first bullet shot her way, but not the second. Lodging itself into her shoulder, and out the other side. A clean, through shot. The Celestial Dragon grins in glee, as does the Guard who forgoes reloading his weapon. His face soon morphs into panic as she advances forward as if nothing happened.
'Morons, really' she thinks, as she draws closer.
Sakura clenches her fist, chakra swimming impatiently at her hands. Grinning, she reels her arm back before slamming her chakra coated fist onto the ground - not too far from where they stood.
The ground cracks, the sound so similar to crumbling trees echos around as the group before they shout in alarm. One guard even drops his weapon, as he stumbles to keep himself upright- but fails as his foot catches in a large crack, lodging it deep within the dirt.
It's not much, after all, she didn't wish to draw too much attention incase the prick had more backup.
One guard regains his footing easier than the others, the sound of metal being raised catches Sakura's attention. And she side steps away from the bullets path. Racing forward with chakra enhanced speed, her fist cocked back to land a nice hit in the middle of the man's gut.
Sakura grimaces as her fist inpales the man's stomach. All the way through, until her fingers could feel the breeze from the opposite side.
The guard yells out in pain, dropping his gun and crumbling to the floor. She watches her arm slide out in sick satisfaction. Before wiping the blood on the sides of her clothing. Tilting her head to the side, she eyes the last two remaining guards and the Celestial Dragon.
"Submit! You- You no good fiend! You'll be getting lashes for every man you kill!" The celestial dragon screams, pointing a finger in her direction.
Sakura notes though, the tense body. He was clearly scared, and definitely out of his element.
'I suppose it's not every day someone doesn't listen to him' she thinks amused.
Before she could open her mouth to retort, Sakura jerks back as a bullet embeds itself in her gut. Biting back a hiss, she turns her glare to the guard bold enough to shoot her.
This time, she didn't get lucky. With the metal bullet stuck somewhere in her mid section. Oh, what a pain it would be to get out.
"Shit." The guard sneers, rushing to reload his gun.
Bending down, Sakura's finger tips dig into the dirt beneath her. Ignoring the pain in her body, and pulling up a large slab of earth. "What the fuck!" The second guard, still stuck in the ground exclaims as he watches her.
Gritting her teeth, she hurls the large slab straight at the guard that shot her. Listening to the sick splat as it makes contact with his body. Blood pools out from under the slab of earth, the legs still visible twitching before they fall still.
"You- You Monster!" The remaining one screams. Sakura tilts her head, and watches as he scrambled to pull his ankle from the cracks in the ground. Fingers digging into his flesh in a hurry.
"He's lucky I didn't rip his spine out of his body for that stunt. Do you know how painstakingly hard bullets aree to get out of my body, by myself?" She mocks the last two. Eyeing the Celestial Dragon who takes a small step back.
"This is your last warning!" The Celestial yells, taking out his own gun for once. It's a much nicer model, and it seems like it has multiple rounds.
Raising her brow, she stares at them with a blank expression.
Her eyes meet the guards, and in an instant his eyes glaze over, hands releasing his ankle as he falls into her Genjutsu. Demonic Illusion: Death Mirage Jutsu. The same one Kakashi Sensei had used on her in the bell test.
Her attention fully returns to the Celestial Dragon, who's hand shakes as he stares between her and the guard.
"What did you do!" He yells.
Sakura shrugs. "What I'm about to do to you. I'm quite tired of being shot at." She replies.
For a moment, the Celestial Dragon looks as if he were about to turn and run. But before he could move a muscle- he to falls into her genjutsu as they make eye contact. Gun slipping from his grasp, and falling to the grass beneath him.
Clapping her hands together. She stares at the remaining two.
She hadn't tried Genjutsu yet. It honestly felt like a cheat, because no knew how to release it. Of course, some with strong willpowers would have a higher chance of succeeding. But these two nobodies were, well... nothing. Just pathetic men trying to flaunt around power.
She blinks, as a static comes from the floor. 'ah, right Haruta.'
Sakura bends down and grabs the fallen den den. "Haruta?" She asks.
"Sakura! Are you alright! Shit did you run?"
Sakura looks towards the Celestial Dragon and his guard, chewing on her lip as she contemplates her answer.
"Not.. exactly." She decides.
"Sakura.. what's that supposed to mean?"
She sighs. "Well, I killed two of his guard-"
"YOU WHAT?!"
She withholds a chuckle at his outburst. "The Celestial Dragon is busy, I put him and his remaining guard in a Genjutsu. I haven't kill them, yet."
"Genjutsu? Is that something from.. you know what? Nevermind. Just.. be careful. While they are.. pathetic they do hold a lot of power. We don't need him causing a war with our crew."
Sakura hums thoughtfully. "Well that's an easy thing to solve. I kill him and his guard. It's not like they've seen my tattoo."
Haruta makes a noise on the other side. "You know.. gah you're crazy. Alright, just be safe. God knows what happened to Teach."
Sakura blinks, as she remembers why she came this way to begin with. Teach, a possible traitor. Kelio, who should be back by the town. And then, something that rubbed her in the wrong way- the Celestial Dragon mentioned a commoner and that boy. Has the man she left him with.. given him back over? Gritting her teeth, Sakura tries to calm her raging anger.
"Sakura? You've gone quiet."
"It's nothing Haruta. I need to get going. Tell Captain I'm alright, and tell Ace I said hello." She says. Before he could reply, she clicks the den den off. Placing it back into her bag.
Sakura stalks over to the guard, hands reaching out to grab the side of his head. She twists her arms roughly until a snap echos across the clearing. Her genjutsu wears off instantly, as his body crumbles to the ground. Pursing her lips, she turns her eyes away from him.
Eyeing the Celestial, she contemplates what to do with him.
She could kill him slowly. He was a slaver, branded that boy, tried to make her into a slave as well. But she didn't have time for that. Walking over to his body, she grabs the bubble covering his head and pulls it off. Letting it fall to the floor.
Sakura releases the genjutsu, letting him take one last look at her with wide fearful eyes, before breaking his neck with a twist of her hands.
"Fitting, the last thing he saw was my face before he died." She murmurs, before pushing his limp body towards the floor.
Placing her hands on her hips, she ponders on what to do next. Finding Teach would be smart. If what Kelio said was true, he would probably be hiding. Once she finishes scouting out the East, she'll head to the west part of the island. After all, it's the only place she hasn't checked with her sensing.
As Sakura begins to move, she pauses. Staring at the large cracks she had created with her fist.
"Well fuck me." She utters, groaning.
"I destroyed the footprints." Shaking her head in despair, Sakura continues in the direction the Celestial Dragon had come from. It was better than nothing.
Sakura presses her body up against a large tree, peeking around to stare at the beach.
A large ship, clearly belonging to the prick she just killed, was docked. Multiple guards were stationed on the ship, others moved about on the sand below.
Sakura noted a few slaves, with shackles around their necks, wrists, and ankles. A few were doing odds and ends, others awaiting orders. Her heart yearned to set them free. But she was already going so far off her main task of coming here in the first place. First with the boy, who she left with that older man. (Worry tugged at her stomach as she remembered the Celestial Dragons words), then with finding Kelio and running into the slavers themselves.
If she wasn't careful, this week long mission would quickly turn into longer.
Her chakra reaches out quickly, sensing for Teach's little dark flame. Which isn't with any of the guards. So the East-
Sakura stops.
Her chakra flaring as a familar signature, one she couldn't put a name on, enters the beach.
She squints her eyes, as a figure appears from the opposite side from where she stood. Tall, lanky. With one singular eye glass and a large gun laying against his shoulder. Sakura remembers now, the man she had saw with Teach that one time. Eyes narrowing, she watches silently.
He greets the guards, one motioning for the man to follow him. And he does, not much of a surprise. Leading him towards the ship.
"What are you up to, Teach? Talking with a guy clearly in buisness with slaves." She murmurs, closing her eyes and taking in a deep breath.
Shaking her head, she spars the beach one last look before turning and heading off. Her new destination, the west side of the island.
