38. Chapter 38

"Your eyes see the future that my eyes will never see, huh?" Itachi asked. Yuna and Sasuke didn't respond while Zetsu waited with bated breath at the scene in front of him. Itachi unfolded his arms and placed them on the armrests of the stone chair he was sitting in. Sasuke and Yuna just glared at him, but Yuna wouldn't lie if she said that she felt an intense moment of reminiscence from seeing Itachi again, but she knew that she would have to put all that on hold.

"Now Itachi before I kill you. You're going to answer my questions," Sasuke said stepping to the front making Itachi shift his eyes to his little brother. He just stared at him with a solid look before he turned back to Yuna who was still staring him down coldly.

"Is that so Sasuke? And why should I answer your questions before I ask mine? I didn't realize that you felt the need to bring someone else into our conflict. It shows how short-sighted you are, foolish little brother," Itachi said and Sasuke snorted before he closed his eyes and turned his head.

"I have told you. She has just as much to do here as I do. She...is my hatred," Sasuke said while Itachi narrowed his eyes. "Bring another to this was pointless. You'll watch Sasuke. You'll watch as she dies because of your actions. Your hate is still far from killing me," Itachi said and before Sasuke could come to respond to that, Yuna placed a hand on his shoulder and walked past him.

"Wrong Itachi. I'm just the exact amount of hatred to end what you are, what you're becoming. Your mother would be ashamed of what you have done. She would even be ashamed of what Sasuke is doing, but I know that she would not interfere with what will go down here. Which is why I'm here in her stead," Yuna said while Itachi focused solely upon Yuna. Somewhere in his head he was racking his brain to remember her, she obviously knew his mother and that would mean that she would have to be around his age or so, but what Itachi didn't understand was the way she was speaking. She spoke as if she was talking down to him like a child. He didn't know why, but he remembered this tone, but it couldn't be a tone that he had thought of the person who was talking. She spoke as if she knew him personally and not just his mother. It seemed that she shared an intimate bond with Sasuke if how the younger Uchiha hinted around her.

"My mother is in the realm of the dead. It is pointless to bring her into this conflict. However since you seem to be so adamant about staying then why do I not know you?" Itachi asked and Yuna held her head to the ground. Sasuke glanced to her and he then noticed Yuna begin to chuckle.

"So many years since I've seen you, but for a person like me then it seems to slow down no matter what you do. You'd better remember me Itachi. After all, Sasuke told me of the Uchiha coup and though I didn't know it I could see the signs. Especially since Sasuke told me about a certain crime that his brother had been claimed of doing by the police force. After all Itachi, you killed my little brother, you're...best friend, Uchiha Shisui," Yuna said while Itachi widened his eyes.

"Sasuke, the sharingan can see through all illusion. Your petty tricks will not work here," Itachi said as his eyes suddenly flashed red showing his sharingan with three-tomoe contained in each of them. However on closer inspection Itachi narrowed his eyes as Yuna folded her arms.

"Yeah, its shocking isn't it? You never thought it was possible. You don't even think it's possible now, but I assure you that I'm here. It's interesting I do find it unusual that you would kill Shisui. I wonder what he was like that brat. Well whatever, I'll pry the answers out of you," Yuna said while Itachi glared at her.

"You were suspected to have died on an Iwa mission far away from Konoha. I heard no reports of other Uchiha. There was a mention of more Uchiha, but I had figured that Sasuke might be trying to restore our clan. I would've had to pay them a visit," Itachi said while Sasuke snarled.

"Hmph, oh don't worry. We're going to be restoring our clan. Just as soon as we take care of you," Yuna said and Itachi gasped before blood trailed from his mouth. He looked down and he noticed Sasuke's sword piercing from his chest with said Uchiha behind the stone chair accompanied by a murderous glare from his own sharingan. "We're going to get our answers now. Tell us the truth, even you, who was renowned as a prodigy of the Uchiha, couldn't possibly kill every single Uchiha, especially in a single night. Who was your accomplice?" Sasuke asked and Itachi closed his eyes.

"So you figured it out huh? Smart. However I still have questions of my own. Yuna-san, I had not thought that I would meet with you under such circumstances. I would like to ask how you are alive. It is obviously no genjutsu by Sasuke so my curiosity is high at the moment," Itachi said while Yuna smirked.

"Well what can you say. Vengeance is a strong thing to get rid of when you really want to," Yuna said/lied before Sasuke got fed up and pushed his sword deeper into Itachi's chest. "Now answer us! Who was your partner in the Uchiha massacre?" Sasuke asked and Itachi opened his eyes.

"Do you really believe that I would divulge my secrets so easily? If you see the future that my eyes will never see then you'll just have to show it to me. For the future that I see, is you both dead. Vengeance or not," Itachi said as he quickly pointed up to the ceiling. Sasuke and Yuna looked up as they noticed Itachi above them looking down at them. Sasuke quickly pulled his sword out as he noticed the chair in front of him dispel into ravens. He then turned his head while Itachi quickly jumped down. He took out a kunai while Sasuke jumped into the air. He swung his sword at Itachi's face, but Itachi blocked it with his kunai. The sparks flew off their individual steel as they came crashing down to the ground. Sasuke backflipped away while he noticed Itachi stand to his feet. He went through his handsigns and Itachi turned his head to see Yuna still standing firm, unmoving.

"You seem to be waiting for something. What might that be?" Itachi asked and Yuna shrugged her shoulders before Itachi heard chirping and he turned to see Sasuke charging at him, his Hinoken scarf flapping around violently while the lightning coursed through his sword. Sasuke quickly spun it around as Itachi watched the lightning circle around the young Uchiha while Sasuke's eyes burned red from his sharingan.

"Uchiha no Hanran: Shinku Enka( Uchiha Rebellion: Crimson Flame Flower)," Sasuke shouted at the top of his voice before he swung his sword sending out a rush of alternating fire and lightning arch slashes as Itachi was forced to dodge all of them. He quickly jumped into the air and he stared back to Yuna to see her still unmoving. Her eyes watching him for the slightest signs of anything weird while Itachi was forced to jump around.

Zetsu stared at the attack in slight shock while Black Zetsu snorted. "An attack of that level won't kill Itachi, but it is a pleasant thing to look at. Uchiha no Hanran, one of the most powerful kenjutsu styles known to Konoha and even known to the Uchiha clan. It was said that only four people in the entire clan could use it well. Uchiha Mikoto, Uchiha Shisui, Izuna Uchiha, and...Uchiha Madara. Looks like this boy really is his mother's son. Using the sharingan in kenjutsu to align your sword to your affinities and use them to their limits through the blade. Fascinating," Black Zetsu said while White Zetsu turned to Yuna.

"But why is she just standing there? Could she be too intimidated to face her family's killer? She has yet to move and aid young Uchiha Sasuke in any way," White Zetsu said while Black Zetsu glanced to her and smiled, or at least it can be assumed that he did. "Do you not see her eyes? She is still looking forward while Uchiha Sasuke fights with Itachi. Now let's see why," Black Zetsu said as he, and White Zetsu, quickly blasted their chakra and they were both pleasantly surprise to see Yuna, Sasuke and Itachi all still. No one was moving and Black Zetsu chuckled in a dark tone.

"Time to see if the young Uchiha has what it takes to take out his brother," Black Zetsu said while White Zetsu just looked on confusingly.

Sasuke coughed as he was quickly punched in the stomach. He winced before he glared up at Itachi's gaze before he quickly backflipped again while Itachi just stared at him. "So you have discovered the secrets of Uchiha no Hanran. An impressive feat considering its rarity, but that kenjutsu style alone will not save you from me, Sasuke," Itachi said while Sasuke growled.

"It doesn't have to. My hatred will see me to the truth that you thought to hide from me. It will show me the reality," Sasuke said while Itachi snorted. "Very well. Then I'll tell you just one thing before that happens. I will tell you of the story of Uchiha Izuna and Uchiha Madara, the leaders of the Uchiha clan. Both were brothers, exceptional brothers. They were filled with promise of leading the clan and both loved to train. They trained day in and day out to unlock the secrets of the Uchiha clan. One day, they gained their sharingan. They were renowned by the Uchiha as prodigies of a much different class, but it wasn't enough for them. One night they killed their closest friends and they awakened the Mangekyou Sharingan. The Mangekyou sharingan, the next step of the Uchiha's sharingan. However the Mangekyou is a great power. The power might be the same depending on siblings or not, but once you unlock those eyes then you are cursed. They are a power of the darkness, every time you use it then you will slowly descend into the darkness. You will go blind. This was confirmed as it happened to Uchiha Madara. To lead his clan along with his brother, Madara Uchiha used his Mangekyou to show everyone the power of the Uchiha clan. However one day his power ended and he could no longer reach for the light. Uchiha Madara was blind. He never adjusted to that life. He earnestly tried to, but it just wasn't possible. He longed to walk in the light so one day he was pushed to his limit and he...stole his brother's eyes. Plucked them from his eye sockets and placed them in his own. Madara opened his eyes and he found that he could see better than ever. When two Uchiha are compatible with each other, then they will awaken the myth of the Uchiha clan and the final evolution of the Mangekyou Sharingan, the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. With it one will never go blind again and power will be bestowed upon one's wildest dreams. However upon the loss of his eyesight, Izuna Uchiha met an untimely death while Madara lived on with his brother's eyes," Itachi said finally taking a breath while Sasuke stood to his feet.

"You're not about to tell me that the person who helped you eliminate the Uchiha was our own founder because if it was then you'd better check again. Uchiha Madara is dead and he won't be coming back," Sasuke said while Itachi snickered.

"Wrong Sasuke, Madara Uchiha is already back. He is my mentor, the one who showed me this way. Sasuke, you are the light to my darkness! Give me your eyes!" Itachi said while Sasuke frowned. "No Itachi it is you who doesn't understand. The Madara that is before you, he is not Madara. Uchiha Madara is long forgotten to the world. Just as you will be soon. Kaa-san wouldn't have wanted this, but I need this for my comfort. If you believe that you can take my eyes then just try it!" Sasuke said while Itachi quickly rushed at him. He held out his fist and Sasuke was ready to block, but Itachi was then surprised when his fist was blocked by Yuna as she glared at him. "How are you...," Itachi wanted to say, but he then noticed Yuna's Mangekyou Sharingan. Just the same as her little brother's.

"So that's why it's been hard for me to focus my eyes. I see, so I will eventually go blind from using these. Well that's fine. I am Sasuke's hatred and like he said I will shatter your illusions and bring him to reality!" Yuna said as she and Itachi stared evenly. Sasuke then gasped as he opened his eyes and fell to the ground exhausted while Itachi's eyes were twitching. Yuna's own eyes were twitching as well while Itachi stood to his feet.

"You really are his sister. I will never forget those eyes of Uchiha Shisui. Sasuke, have you truly returned to Konoha? Would you readily use the Edo Tensei to justify your hatred?" Itachi asked and Yuna smirked.

"The way I was revived is none of your business. Sasuke isn't so lowdown as to do that to me. You're right I suppose these are just like little Shi-shi's eyes if I had seen them, but I'll show you how they are more than likely different from his own," Yuna said as she raised one hand into the air. Sasuke quickly jumped back while Zetsu blinked.

"What is she going to do?" he asked while his counterpart narrowed its eye. "We'll just have to wait and see," Black Zetsu said while White Zetsu nodded. However, luckily they didn't have to wait long as Yuna's eyes strained and Itachi widened his eyes as a large white cube covered his body. Zetsu gasped while Itachi looked over the large cube.

"Dust Release/Dust Release," White Zetsu, Black Zetsu, and Itachi thought while Yuna clenched her open hand. "Jinton: Seishin Sakujo( Dust Release: Removing The Soul)," Yuna said as the cube compressed and Itachi vanished entirely as the light covered the floor until it dissipated. Sasuke and Yuna stared at the open hole while the youngest Uchiha turned to his lover.

"You didn't get him," Sasuke said and Yuna calmly lowered her hand. "I know I didn't. Dodge!" Yuna said as she and Sasuke jumped out of the way from a fuma shuriken that sped past them. Both landed to opposite sides of the floor and turned around to see Itachi staring at Yuna.

"As far as I'm concerned Jinton, of the Iwagakure Tsuchikage, is not a copiable technique to the sharingan. How are you able to use it?" Itachi asked while Yuna snorted. "As usual you always ask too many questions Itachi. I am not obligated to answer anymore. Whatever you learn, you will learn in this fight. Our little genjutsu fight is over. As long as I'm here you won't be influencing Sasuke. Now then Sasuke tells me you were the captain in the anbu. I always thought about joining them. Show me!" Yuna said as she quickly dashed for Itachi. Meanwhile Sasuke stood to his feet and he ran right after Yuna as they both fell into step of each other.

Itachi took out another kunai as he blocked Sasuke's strike with his sword. Yuna hopped over Sasuke's back and attempted to land a kick, but Itachi blocked that much to her surprise before he grabbed her leg and flung Yuna into the air. He then noticed Sasuke's left arm light up in Raiton as he jumped away before Sasuke threw his sword at his brother. Itachi quickly jumped to the side as the sword embedded itself into the wall next to him while Sasuke smirked. "Chidori: Seitansaku( Thousand Birds: Static Searching)," Sasuke called out and Itachi quickly turned his head as he noticed the lightning from Sasuke's sword quickly crumble away at the wall before he charged straight for him. Itachi turned back to see Sasuke glaringly coldly at him while he glared back.

Itachi then looked up as he noticed Yuna bringing her heel down. Itachi rolled to the side as he flung a kunai at her while Yuna cursed. The kunai stabbed her body before she disappeared in smoke replaced by a log as it dropped down to the floor.

Itachi skidded back before he quickly blocked another leg strike from Yuna, who had been behind him, while she snarled. "Go on Itachi. Sasuke already knows so why don't you tell him? Tell him about the reason you killed you clan. You honestly believe that Sasuke would think that you killed them all just to test your power. You're not even that conceited," Yuna said while Itachi narrowed his eye at her. He then quickly leaned back to dodge a sword strike from Sasuke. Quickly reacting, Yuna twirled her body into the air before holding a handsign.

"Katon: Hosenka( Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique)," Yuna shouted as she had blown several fires in Itachi's direction. "I have no idea what you as speaking of Yuna-san. Sasuke needs to know nothing," Itachi said while Sasuke growled. Both looked at the incoming shots as they stopped a duel they were having with their kunai and sword and backed away. Itachi landed back near his chair while Sasuke and Yuna landed to the floor. No one looked winded in the slightest while Sasuke quickly placed his sword back into his sheath. He then folded his arms.

"I have been placed on a special team Itachi. A team put together by Hokage-sama. I am a member of Hinoken. Because of it I have the same status, authority, and opportunities as the Anbu. Because of it I have had access to information, classified information. I know about the truth of the Uchiha Massacre. I know what you did and I know why you did it," Sasuke said while Itachi didn't seem fazed, but he was unnerved.

"I have no idea of your ramblings Sasuke. If you are going to kill me then you'll need to stop talking and continue our fight," Itachi said and Sasuke sighed. "Fine. We'll continue this fight Itachi. We'll continue it until you remember what I'm talking about and then we'll get back to the issue," Sasuke said while Zetsu let a bead of sweat fall.

"The young Uchiha Sasuke knows about the Uchiha Massacre and then there is this woman who claims herself to be Uchiha Shisui's older sister. If what they're saying is right then she should've been dead long ago. More than ten or eleven years ago. How is she able to use Jinton. Did something happen to her in Iwa?" White Zetsu asked while Black Zetsu growled. "I do not know, but we're about to find out. If Uchiha Sasuke knows the truth about the Uchiha Massacre then it will be hard to get him to go with our plan just Madara-sama intended. He still seems to want to kill his brother despite the truth so we might be able to use that, but we have to get this girl away from him in order for it to work. She's an element that will tip the scale of this fight," Black Zetsu said while White Zetsu just nodded.

"I know what you had to do for the sake of the village. I know what you wanted me to do. I know it all Itachi. I'm here to grant you your wish!" Sasuke as he quickly flung a kunai at Itachi. The elder Uchiha sent his own and sounds of their clashing were heard as they bounced off each other. Sasuke then took off his Hinoken top showing the seals on his arms while he quickly touched them taking out two shuriken. Sasuke had Yura draw these own for him and while she was still shaky with her fuinjutsu training Yura was more than happy to accommodate the brunette with what he wanted.

So Sasuke and Itachi continued to throw shuriken and kunai at each other as they whipped them out of their sleeves and arms. The sounds rang in Yuna's ears before she covered her eyes and allowed her sharingan to return to normal for a change. Didn't need to overexert it if she was going to be going blind is what she figured. She then reached into her pouch and then, wrapping an explosion tag to a kunai, quickly threw it forward sending it into the fray of kunai and shuriken that littered across the ground.

Itachi and Sasuke continued in their endeavor of what they were doing before they noticed Yuna's explosion kunai and quickly jumped back while Yuna landed on the floor. She looked up as she noticed a lone kunai heading for her skull before she quickly arched her body back briefly allowing her to see her reflection in the kunai as it passed her and embedded itself into the wall. Sasuke and Yuna turned their heads in surprise before they noticed Itachi quickly create two clones as they charged for them both. "You will feel despair," Itachi said to the both of them while Sasuke and Yuna shifted into their taijutsu stances.

Sasuke and Itachi clashed sword to kunai again as the sparks began to fly again. Both gazed into the other's eyes. "You did it for the clan didn't you? Everything that you have done up to this point. Making yourself a criminal, telling me to kill you, working for Akatsuki. It's all been for the sake of the village!" Sasuke grunted while Itachi glared at him.

"I have no such intentions," Itachi said and Sasuke turned his head as he noticed Yuna quickly jump over her clone. It look at her and Yuna glared back at it as she quickly came twirling down allowing her kunai to clash with the Itachi-clone's kunai. She was instantly pushed back from Itachi with his strength and backflipped through the air. Yuna brushed her lower lip while Sasuke turned back to what he was doing.

"You had no such intentions? You still take me for that little boy that you met when you massacred the clan those years ago? Don't make me laugh Itachi. You're going to answer my questions one way or the other!" Sasuke said as he quickly touched his wrist unsealing a fuma shuriken. Itachi gasped while Sasuke grinned. The young Uchiha quickly flung it forward while Itachi snorted. With his sharingan this would be too easy to dodge.

Itachi quickly hunched his body forward in an attempt to quickly duck under the incoming shuriken before he widened his eyes and gasped when he noticed a second one right underneath the first as both went sailing for him. Itachi growled, but he was impressed by the ingenuity that Sasuke displayed, but it was still full of holes.

Itachi quickly, and slightly, jumped through the air as he tried to maneuver his body through the two fuma shuriken before looked up to see a sliver of light trailing from the two Fuma shuriken to Sasuke's arms. "Wires," Itachi thought to himself, but he was still safe for the moment.

Or so he thought...

Soon both Sasuke and Itachi were surprised as a small white cube began to form in the center of the fuma shuriken along with Itachi as the elder Uchiha widened his eyes. He looked back and he noticed Yuna still fighting with his clone. "How is she able to project her Jinton while preoccupied with my clone?" Itachi wondered, but he had to get out of it. If Yuna released it then more than likely he'd be dead, but he didn't want to die by Yuna. No, he needed Sasuke to do it.

It surprised Itachi that he safely passed through both the cube and the fuma shuriken, but he then gasped while Sasuke smirked. "Your guard is wide open!" Sasuke said as he flicked his wrist. Instantly his two fuma shuriken shattered to pieces before a single piece stabbed itself into Itachi's leg. Itachi grimaced before he fell to the ground. Both white and black Zetsu gasped while Itachi touched the rim of his leg. Itachi snarled at Sasuke while Sasuke glared evenly at him. The oldest Uchiha quickly grabbed the lone piece and flung it out of his leg while he touched it painfully. He didn't take his eyes off Sasuke and younger brunette had to admit that it was an amazing thing that he focused on something else and not his injury.

"You expect me to restore the honor of our ruined clan by killing you. You placed this on me so that I would be the one to bring you down and make you pay for what you've done to us. You really thought you were going to hide it from me? I would've found out about eventually," Sasuke said while he and Itachi quickly jumped back though Itachi ignored the pain in his leg to do it.

"Katon: Hisai Hakuri( Fire Release: Stricken Detachment)," Yuna hollered as she sent her flames racing towards Itachi's figure. Itachi turned his head and so did Sasuke while the younger Uchiha watched the older Uchiha be consumed by the flames as they raced towards the building near Zetsu as the spy quickly sank into the wall allowing for his presence to disappear as the flames bashed against the stone walls and exploded. Yuna and Sasuke looked before they felt chills down their spines and looked up to see Itachi on the ceiling. "You have improved Sasuke. The past does not matter. No matter what you say to me it will all be meaningless. If you don't kill me then I will capture Kumo's jinchuuriki, I will take Naruto-kun, and I will take the Sanbi jinchuuriki, Yuri Uzumaki," Itachi said while Sasuke and Yuna widened their eyes.

"It just doesn't stop with you does it? Wait, how did you know that Yuri's the Sanbi jinchuuriki?!" Sasuke asked in frustration while Itachi landed on the ground. "The remaining members of Akatsuki know and we'll be going after her as well. The job might as well fall on Kisame. You'll have to have a better time of keeping things protected. However the both of you are still foolish. Yuna Uchiha, the girl who was long since supposed to be dead, and my foolish little brother. Both of you believe that you can handle me. I shall show you the difference in our abilities," Itachi said as he quickly raced through his handsigns. Sasuke and Yuna quickly met up at the center while Sasuke and Yuna got started on their own.

"Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu!" Sasuke, Yuna and Itachi shouted as all three Uchiha blasted their fires together. Sasuke's and Yuna's quickly overlapped and combusted together as they slammed against Itachi's quickly pushing it back against him. Itachi narrowed his eyes while Zetsu popped out of the ground to see the action himself in surprise while Itachi closed his right eye. "We're about to see it. To think that Itachi Uchiha would use it so early in the fight. The strongest Katon jutsu in existence. The unquenchable flames of hell. Said to be as hot as the sun itself. Its name is called...,"

"Amaterasu," Itachi called out as Sasuke and Yuna stared in surprise as Itachi's fire was consumed by black flames. Both were surprised instantly as the black flames quickly began to overtake their own powerful, orange flames. "What technique is that?" Yuna thought to herself before she and Sasuke abandoned the jutsu clash and backed away. They quickly separated from each other as they quickly ran off in opposite directions. Itachi's eye bled as he concentrated his flames on Sasuke's person while the Uchiha continued to run away.

Yuna noticed this and cursed inwardly before she quickly ran to Sasuke's aid. "What are you doing?" Sasuke asked as Yuna quickly appeared at his side. "I don't know what the hell this technique is, but we're sticking to the fuckin' plan Sasuke. We both need to be alive for that to work," Yuna said while Sasuke snarled. He then gasped as Yuna grabbed his arm and swung him around before launching him into the air. Itachi watched as Sasuke went sailing for the ceiling. The brunette Uchiha quickly took out his sword and busted through the ceiling landing on top of it with a heavy pant. He looked down as he noticed Itachi's eyes over Yuna's body.

"You're an eyesore," Itachi said while Yuna quickly backflipped and stuck to a wall. "Really? Hard to believe that you and Shisui got along. I still remember when you were younger than me. I encouraged you to teach Sasuke and you became friends with my little brother. I honestly wonder what happened to that you. Mikoto-sama would be ashamed of you," Yuna said while Itachi narrowed his eyes further.

"Do not speak of her," Itachi said as his eyes focused on Yuna's form. She quickly dashed to the side as the flames bursted from the wall. They quickly made their way towards while Yuna rubbed her eyes and gritted her teeth against the pain before morphing her eyes to her Mangekyou again. She then turned around and held out her hands towards Itachi's form.

"Let's see who can play chicken Itachi. Your flames or my Jinton. Which will hit first?" Yuna asked as Itachi noticed a cube over his body. White Zetsu gulped while Black Zetsu narrowed his eye.

Itachi's eyes never left Yuna's form as the flames appeared at her feet. Both Mangekyou stared at each other before Sasuke noticed the room explode in black flames and in a white light. He widened his eyes to the sight before both dissipated. He gasped as he looked down before he heard more talking. "A reckless one she was. A shame that she wasn't just a bit faster. I didn't want to have to kill another Uchiha, but she forced my hand. I told you not to bring her along," Itachi said while Sasuke snarled. He turned his head and he noticed Itachi standing there, on the roof of the hideout, looking at him and Sasuke wasn't sure, but he thought he saw grief in Itachi's eyes for a second before it was masked.

"So you even went so far as to kill your best friend's sister. You really are messed up Itachi. I'll admit that I messed up to, but at least I'm correcting it now. I'll correct it with this blade. You are an expert in the Uchiha's Taijutsu so I won't fight you like an Uchiha. I'll fight you like a member of Hinoken!" Sasuke shouted as he grabbed her sword and charged for Itachi. Itachi glared at him. Sasuke swung his sword and Itachi jumped away from it while Zetsu appeared on the roof once again.

"Well it seems we were wrong about this new Uchiha. Looks like she won't be affecting the outcome at all. However I was expecting Uchiha Sasuke to be more angry with his current loss. Now he has no way of defending against Uchiha Itachi's Tsukuyomi, but now we'll be able to see how this turns out," Black Zetsu said while White Zetsu just seemed too amazed to reply.

Back with Mikoto and Suigetsu

Mikoto and Suigetsu quickly jumped back while Kisame snickered. Far off Juugo and Karin were watching as the entire field was flooded with water. Mikoto used her chakra to keep herself on the surface while Suigetsu did the same. However Mikoto turned as she noticed Suigetsu panting heavily. "What's going on? I haven't gotten hit and yet I feel like I lost nearly all my chakra," Suigetsu said while Mikoto narrowed her eyes. Those eyes then darted to the left as she saw Samehada stick out of the water and charge for her just like a shark before she quickly took her sword then began to backflip away while she heard cackling from under the water.

"Keep away from his sword Suigetsu-san. It's called Samehada and it literally eats chakra. You're relying too much on your ability to turn to water," Mikoto instructed while Suigetsu cursed lowly. He quickly took his katana while Kisame emerged out of the ground. "I wonder how the chakra of a Uchiha Matriarch tastes," Kisame said licking his jagged teeth while Mikoto growled. She quickly gripped her own sword while Suigetsu did the same. The latter quickly charged Kisame as their swords bashed against each other. Mikoto took that chance and closed the distance between herself and her opponent. It really worried her that her sons were fighting it out while she could do nothing but wait, however she knew that Yuna was there with Sasuke and thought she had died she was still famed for her near perfect mission record. Mikoto knew that they would be fine.

Kisame smirked while Suigetsu gritted his sharp teeth at the Akatsuki member before he was flung off and sent flying through the air which gave Kisame the time to clash again Mikoto. The two stared in each other's eyes before the water under Mikoto's feet began to bubble. Mikoto looked down in surprise and quickly backed away as a water shark came out of the water attempting to more than take a bite out of her body. The brunette female landed back before she noticed Kisame charging back at her. She assumed a defensive stance as they both clashed again and Mikoto could feel her chakra being drained through her sword, but her eyes never left Kisame's.

"Your sons are fighting over there and you're dealing with me. What a kind mother you are. It makes me think that maybe you Uchiha are just as ruthless and unloving as I thought," Kisame said while Mikoto's eyes twitched.

"You have a lot to learn about the Uchiha clan Hoshigaki. Second, you need to remember me from my time as a jonin and why I was requested to join the Twelve Guardian Ninja," Mikoto said and Kisame noticed her eyes glow red with three tomoe while her lips curved into a smirk. Mikoto suddenly pushed Kisame back away from her before she held her sword into the water. "Uchiha no Hanran: Kōtei Sanran( Uchiha Rebellion: Imperial Scattering)," Mikoto shouted as Kisame looked down and noticed lightning shots shoot off from her sword through the water lighting up the entire thing. Kisame quickly jumped back in surprise as he didn't feel like being served with duck sauce and vegetables. He then turned his head and noticed Suigetsu right behind him.

"You're not the only one who's good with a sword," Suigetsu said as he quickly grabbed Kisame's arm much to the latter's surprise. "Oba-san, hurry up and just hit us both!" Suigetsu said while Kisame looked back and he noticed Mikoto charging them both.

"I do not treat my comrades in such a way. Do not worry about it. Just keep still and this won't hurt a bit," Mikoto said as she plunged her sword through Suigetsu's stomach and quickly pierced Kisame's chest. The sharkman coughed while Mikoto and Suigetsu smirk. "Oh this promise to be so much fun Mikoto-chan. I really like you right now," Kisame said swinging his sword while Mikoto and Suigetsu jumped back. The last of them panted while he wiped off his chin. Mikoto wasn't winded and neither was Kisame despite the sudden injury.

"Man, these two are in a class of their own. She's not even tired and neither is he while I'm fuckin' out of breath. These two are monsters," Suigetsu thought to himself while Kisame and Mikoto just fell into lone stares at each other.

"You have both been very entertaining for me, but I think now is the time for things to come to an end. Time for us to say our goodbyes," Kisame said and he quickly flashed a series of handsigns and he noticed Mikoto quickly flowing him as well with what they were trying to do as her sharingan tried to memorize the rest of the handsigns that Kisame was doing while the sharkman snickered. "So you want to copy do you? Well you're more than welcome to try!" he said as the water quickly rose over them both while Juugo and Karin gasped. Suigetsu looked over his head at the large body of water.

"Suiton: Daikōdan no...," Mikoto and Kisame were ready to finish, but both stopped as they noticed Tobi place his hand over Kisame's. Mikoto narrowed her eyes while Tobi's sharingan gazed upon her. Her own sharingan stared at his while Tobi smirked. "You seem to be having your fun Kisame, but I remember telling you and Itachi to go after the Sanbi jinchuuriki since I gave you the information about her. Why are you wasting time?" Tobi asked and Kisame chuckled.

"Oh don't act so surprised. You think I didn't know that you'd send Zetsu to observe this little action thing going on. I'm just making sure that others do interfere with it," Kisame said dropping his hands while Mikoto did the same. Suigetsu looked between them both and Tobi chuckled.

"Uchiha Sasuke will kill Uchiha Itachi in battle. His hatred for his brother will soon make itself apparent. How can you stand idly by while this happens?" Tobi asked while Mikoto folded her arms. "Sasuke is my son. So is Itachi. I love them both. They are both grown and can make their own decisions. There is no need for me to interfere. Simply because there is already someone who will do it for me. Someone who knows to keep them both in line better than I ever could. You are a shame to call yourself a Uchiha," Mikoto said while Tobi snarled behind his mask. Mikoto could tell that she got to him before she looked down at his sleeve.

"You seem to have gotten yourself a new arm. You would like to go through the experience that Naruto put you through again?" Mikoto asked and Tobi chuckled. "Just you wait Mikoto Uchiha. You might be back by unknown means, but you will see what my plan is and how I will bring it about. I will bring the world to peace, my peace," Tobi said while he turned and walked off.

"And what makes you think that I will allow you to do that? It's just as Naruto told you, me, and Kakashi. Rin would be disappointed in you," Mikoto said glaring her eyes forward while Tobi stopped. He quickly turned his head and Mikoto could see the Mangekyou in his eyes, but she didn't relent as she stared back.

"Watch your step Mikoto Uchiha. You died once, you can die again. I have no care for the pride of the Uchiha clan who submit themselves to Konoha. Kisame, head back to the base. You are finished here," Tobi said and Kisame snickered before he shrugged his shoulders.

"Keh, well that's a shame. Looks like we'll have to continue our little bout later Mikoto-san. Sayonara!" Kisame said as he sunk into the waters below and just as fast Mikoto couldn't sense him anymore and neither could Suigetsu. However Mikoto never broke her stare with Tobi while he looked up at the ceiling.

That's right. It took me a little while to remember her, but I think I do. Yuna Uchiha, she was still quite young as I remember. Just as Uchiha Shisui was a baby. If I'm right then I think I might have just found the next step to my plan. Also when you see the Kyuubi Jinchuuriki please inform him...," Tobi paused as he raised his left hand show his new arm and resumed.

"I appreciate the upgrade," Tobi said before he warped away leaving the field barren while Suigetsu dropped to the ground. "Fuckin' freak. So are we going to go now?" Suigetsu asked while Mikoto nodded.

"That's right. Come on. We've lost enough time as it is," she said as she and Suigetsu dashed off with Juugo and Karin not far behind them.

Back with Sasuke

"Chidori Nagashi," Sasuke shouted as he slammed the ground quickly sending a stream of lightning racing across the rooftops while Itachi easily danced around the attack that was sent at him before he went rushing for Sasuke. So far the only way that the young Uchiha had avoided his Tsukuyomi was because Yuna had been there to take it for him. No she was nothing more than ash that Itachi didn't have to worry about. It pained Itachi about what he did to yet another of his fellow kinsmen, but this was something only he and Sasuke could do. No one was to get in the way.

Itachi quickly flashed through his handsigns and opened his mouth. "Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu," Itachi hollered sending the roaring fire towards Sasuke's direction while the Uchiha quickly jumped to the side allowing for the flames to blasted against one of the roof pillars that had been behind him. Sasuke quickly landed down before he gasped when he saw Itachi right in front of him. "It is over. Your hatred was not enough and it has died by my hand once again. Now there is no hope for you against my Tsukuyomi. I will make you see...true reality," Itachi said as he quickly punched Sasuke across the face. Sasuke went spiraling down across the ground before he backflipped away.

"Wrong Itachi. As I told you, my hatred will be the thing to make me see the reality that I wish to see and not what you show me," Sasuke said and Itachi just shook his head at his little brother while Sasuke rubbed his jaw from the punch that Itachi delivered him. He quickly went on the rebound and launched himself forward as he quickly grabbed his sword. Itachi quickly threw out a kunai, but Sasuke easily sliced through it as he kept sailing through the air. Itachi then took out another kunai and quickly blocked against Sasuke's advance. The streaks of lights scrapped off their blades while Sasuke and Itachi snarled at each other.

"Sasuke and Itachi seem to be evenly matched in this. There is no telling who will win," White Zetsu said while Black Zetsu nodded his head. "That is true. We'll just have to keep watching," It said while its other half just nodded.

Sasuke quickly flashed through another series of handsigns for a Katon jutsu, but he soon found his world shattering and his vision hazy. He looked back to see Itachi standing with a single handsign before Sasuke heard ringing in his ears. Sasuke shouted in agony as he dropped to the ground while he clutched his head. He then looked up as he noticed Itachi hovering over him. "Weak," Itachi said as he kicked Sasuke across the rooftops bashing him against the roof pillars. Sasuke quickly leaned up before he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned his head as he noticed Yuna frowning at him.

"Why are they just standing there now?" White Zetsu asked while Black Zetsu frowned. "Itachi has managed to bring Sasuke into a genjutsu. It will be thrilling to see if he will be able to take it apart without the aid of Yuna Uchiha," Black Zetsu said while the white half just nodded ignoring the bead of sweat that dripped from his pale face.

"Sasuke, how could you? You're too weak Sasuke. You couldn't even protect me from Itachi and you desire your revenge? You thought I was your hated, but I was just your weakness. You are nothing," Yuna said while Sasuke snarled.

"Illusion! This is a damn illusion! Yuna is still alive! As long as Naruto is alive then she's alive as well. Break it. Break it!" Sasuke growled to himself, but he only heard Yuna chuckling. "This is no illusion Sasuke. I'm just here to remind you that you fuckin' wasted my last chance at life following your damn desires!" Yuna said while Sasuke growled. He then coughed as he was pushed into a wall by Yuna. Sasuke reached for his sword, but he was the kneed in the stomach by the female brunette as she took his sword and threw it to the side.

"Do you understand Sasuke? This is...reality," Itachi said as he appeared before the younger and quickly pulled Sasuke's eye out. Sasuke shouted as he covered his left eye while Itachi held it in his bloody hands. Yuna gave a grin of her own while she just watched. "Now then, I'll be taking the other one. This is the price for your foolish desires little brother," Itachi said while Yuna held Sasuke down. Sasuke gasped as Itachi moved for his right eye. Sasuke snarled as he looked back to see Yuna laughing manically before Sasuke's mind went somewhere else.

"It was my sharingan Sasuke. It's my own Mangekyou sharingan. I activated it just before my death. I had died from the mission to Iwa. I told you that, but I obtained it because we had been sold out. We died because they were informed of our arrival. M-My best friend, Fei, she sold us out. We were massacred by Iwa. However, I had lived. I swore that I would make her pay and make her pay I did. I was angry at them. All of them and I wanted their death. So I recklessly rushed at Fei and stabbed her heart with a kunai. She died in my arms. I would've been happy, but I wasn't. I screamed out my frustrations while the Iwa nin converged on me. I had heard that they wanted to sell my body for the sharingan and have me breed their children. I didn't want that. I refused it all. I shouted out to anything and they all watched as my sharingan twisted and turned. I obtained the Mangekyou Sharingan," Yuna said to him that time.

"I mean you no disrespect Mikoto-sama. I also mean no disrespect to the gratitude that you have shown me. At first I was ashamed with myself. Me for being who I am and just going for your son. So many times I had thought about ending it with him because I couldn't bear to think that you would hate both me and him. I never wanted that, but it seems that it was bound to come out," Yuna paused to catch her breath. Mikoto folded his arms over her chest before she saw Yuna smile.

"But I know I really care for Sasuke. I care for him a lot. You know my love life, or...lack thereof. Sasuke's...the first bo- I mean man to actually want me for myself. I'm attracted to him. I can't help myself. I love Sasuke,"

Sasuke snarled as he looked up and Itachi noticed his lone eye filled with hatred. However it wasn't hatred for him or for what he was doing, but for the very thought that he doubted what he had heard from Yuna herself. "My eyes will see the truth Itachi! My eyes will see the reality. The reality is you at my feet!" Sasuke said while Itachi raised an eyebrow.

"This is a genjutsu which means I'm still unmoving. If I'm right...," Itachi watched as Sasuke grabbed his waist and closed his eyes. He pictured his katana as he quickly spun across the ground and slashed Yuna apart as he stood to his feet. "Uchiha no Hanran: Gōryū Nishi Senkei( Uchiha Rebellion: Great Dragon Twin Death Spiral Dance)!" Sasuke shouted out while Itachi and Zetsu watched as flames busted from the ground around Sasuke's form forcing both to back away. Itachi grunted as he covered his eye canceling the genjutsu around Sasuke the the younger Uchiha gasped for air.

"Uchiha Sasuke broke out of the Tsukuyomi. What forced him to use so much chakra to do that?" White Zetsu asked in shock, but Black Zetsu didn't get the chance to reply back his question.

Sasuke and Itachi panted heavily while Sasuke's sword was steaming from his use of Uchiha kenjutsu. Itachi had managed to stay on his toes through the entire ordeal while the two Uchiha brothers continued in their struggle. "Sasuke, you are nearly out of chakra. If you cannot kill me now then I will be taking your eyes little brother. Everything you love and hold dear I will destroy," Itachi said while Sasuke snorted.

"Enough of the act Itachi. You have taken this too far and it's time for you to just admit it right now. You think that it will be upon your death that you will do it, but I'm not that forgiving. You're going to apologize for everything that you've ever done to our clan and you're going to make it right by your own power. I'll be sure to make you keep this promise," Sasuke said while Itachi snorted.

"I have nothing to say to you Sasuke. I'm sorry, but this is how it must be. Now let's continue. However I wonder what you can do without your supposed hatred since it's been consumed by my flames. You have nothing left. You don't have enough hate," Itachi said while Sasuke narrowed his eyes.

"Wrong Itachi. As I told you, I have the exact amount of hatred within my heart to end you once and for all," Sasuke said while Zetsu continued to look at the scene. Itachi glared at him while Sasuke steeled himself under his brother's gaze. That was, until they both heard a loud shout.

"Katon: Gōryūka no Jutsu( Fire Release: Great Dragon Flame Technique)," Sasuke smirked while Itachi widened his eyes and looked down to his feet as he noticed the roof quickly begin to explode while Zetsu gasped when giant flames exploded from the room below the ceiling as they went soaring into the skies above. Sasuke jumped back while Itachi quickly jumped around to avoid the strikes. Once they stopped he and Sasuke looked down as they noticed, just across from the black flames, was Yuna grinning.

"You're finished!" Yuna shouted as she quickly jumped to the wall and ran up it before jumping out of the ceiling and landing on the roof. Itachi stared at her in surprise while Sasuke turned to her. "You're cutting it close Yuna. Next time don't do that," Sasuke said while Yuna rubbed some dirt from her cheek.

"Believe me I don't plan on doing that again. So did you sort out your issues yet or do I still need to be involved?" Yuna asked while Sasuke growled. "What do you think?' he asked and Yuna shrugged her shoulders while they turned back to see Itachi, not really surprised by what he had just witnessed, but he was indeed very surprised at what he had seen.

"You're quite resourceful. How did you escape the black flames?" Itachi asked and Yuna looked up to see the clouds beginning to gather and the rain pouring down. "Discreetly placed a cube below my feet. I activated it the same time as your black flames nearly hit me and it sent me down to the lower levels of the hideout and place me in a storage room. Not the best strategy, but it got the job done. Though it probably doesn't help that this buildings is now burning from the bottom up by these black flames," Yuna said and Sasuke quickly snapped at his neck. His left hand charged in Raiton while he picked Yuna up close to him.

"I never wanted you to see this Yuna. A product of my mistakes, but I need to use it. Even if it is...borrowed power," Sasuke said and Yuna watched as Sasuke's curse seal quickly began to take hold of him as it covered his body and his hair. Yuna gasped while Itachi narrowed his eyes.

"That is Orochimaru's curse mark right? I'm surprised that it still works considering that the old snake bit the dust quite a while ago. Also what's...with those clouds? Ever since she did that Katon jutsu it's been worrying me," White Zetsu said while Black Zetsu smirked. "Those two Uchiha really are something else. The female dodged the black flames of Amaterasu and the other is going to bring out the best Raiton jutsu. When she shot her fire into the skies she created a high mix of clouds that were formed together from the heat and when those clouds gather and bump each other lightning forms. A perfect lightning of pure nature and shape manipulation," Black Zetsu said while Sasuke's wings sprang from his back. He quickly hovered over the hideout with Yuna in his arms as she looked down in surprise.

"Sasuke, what are you doing?" Yuna asked while Sasuke held his hand into the sky. "Itachi, you will never be able to dodge this technique. This will be my last jutsu that you will ever see. If you are not willing to say what you have to say to Yuna and myself then there is nothing more to talk about. This is...Kirin!" Sasuke said as Zetsu and Itachi heard a loud and thunderous roar. Yuna gasped up in shock and awe. When Sasuke had told her of this last resort move she questioned it, but he never told her that he...had something like this. Just imagine if it was combined with Honshou.

Immediately a large white beast emerged from the clouds as it roared in Itachi's face. "What does he mean that Itachi won't be able to dodge it?" White Zetsu asked while Black Zetsu stared up in awe. "Lightning strikes 1/1000th of a second. It's faster than sound. Such a technique, this hideout will be reduced to ash in a matter of seconds. We must get away," Black Zetsu said as the regressed back into the floor and quickly ran away from the scene while Itachi just continued to look up in pride.

"Sasuke, that's not what we discussed! Stop it!" Yuna said while Sasuke's dark, red eyes stared down at Itachi's form. "Begone, with the thunderclap!" Sasuke said as he swung his hand down. The beast roared before it curved up into the clouds and Itachi's field of vision instantly grew white as the lightning bashed against the building structure. Yuna watched as the lightning tore through the levels of the hideout in an instantly before it slammed into the ground leaving a massive crater and a heavy explosion while Sasuke and Yuna covered their eyes from the sight.

The light only stayed for about a minute or so before it dispersed. Sasuke quickly landed Yuna on the ground as they noticed the large flames in front, and around, them before they noticed Itachi's body unmoving. Yuna looked at his body and so did Sasuke while the brunette girl growled before she pushed Sasuke to the ground

"Dammit Sasuke that wasn't the plan here! Why must you always go and act on your own?" Yuna shouted while Sasuke narrowed his eyes. He then looked over at Itachi's body before he stood to his feet. "His Mangekyou Sharingan, I saw it form just before the lightning slammed into the building. I don't know what he was planning, but whatever he was doing wasn't all that he had, but that really took a lot out of me. At the very least we can now focus on heading back to Uzushio and explaining this to Naruto. Just hope that he's close to it or something, but at least it's all over now," Sasuke said and Yuna turned to Itachi's body and she suddenly felt a large spike in chakra.

"Sasuke wasn't gonna kill him. He...bluffed him?" Yuna thought to herself before Sasuke and Yuna heard Itachi's voice. "Was that the death that you had imagined for me?" Itachi asked while Sasuke and Yuna saw Itachi slowly rise to his feet.

"Uchiha Shisui's older sister and my little brother Sasuke. You are both as I remember you now. You really have gotten stronger...Sasuke," Itachi said as Sasuke and Yuna noticed a large orange fire begin to consume Itachi until it wrapped over his entire body.

"Without this I would've been dead," Itachi said as it quickly grew a shield and then a skeletal body. It's eyes as lit as the fire around its body. It's rib cage was then covered by a orange-red armor as it held out its hand allowing for a large sword to materialize. It's flaming essence truly intimidating. Sasuke and Yuna gaped while Yuna suddenly twitched as she placed a hand over her eye. Sasuke glanced to her and cursed. She wouldn't be able to keep that up much longer since the Mangekyou took an incredible amount of chakra, or Honshou for Yuna.

"Behold Sasuke, Yuna. This is my trump card. This is...Susanoo," Itachi said while Susanoo glared down at its targets menacingly.

Zetsu quietly appeared out of the ground while White Zetsu gulped. "What is that thing?" White Zetsu asked and Black Zetsu spoke. "The Susanoo. The Uchiha's ultimate technique. It creates a gigantic, humanoid being that surrounds the user. As one of the strongest techniques granted to those that have acquired the Mangekyō Sharingan, it is the user's guardian deity, but at the same time, it consumes the user's life. However Uchiha Itachi's really is amazing," Black Zetsu paused before continuing.

"In its right hand is the Sword of Totsuka. Also known as the Sakegari Longsword. It is sheathed in a saké jar. A variant of the Kusanagi Blade, it is an enchanted blade capable of sealing whatever it pierces. Those who are stabbed by the sword are drawn into the jar and trapped in a genjutsu-like "world of drunken dreams" for all eternity; Orochimaru longed for the blade, but he could never find it. In the other hand is the Yata no Kagami( Eight Span Mirror). It is considered to be a sacred treasure. It is said to be endowed with all nature transformations and as such changes its own characteristics to completely negate any opposition. Combine these two things and Itachi Uchiha's Susanoo is virtually invincible," Black Zetsu said while White Zetsu just stared in awe.

"Now, Sasuke. Let's continue this," Itachi said while Sasuke growled. "Did it really have to come to this Itachi? To you really doing so much for our clan by yourself? I told you that realize why you did it. Tou-san was going to plan a coup of Konoha and you volunteered for the mission to protect the village as well as keep the Uchiha clan free of betrayal," Sasuke said while Itachi narrowed his eyes behind his humanoid being's shield.

"It is as it should be. My death for my sins against our clan. I can't make it up to them. It can't be different Sasuke," Itachi said as the Susanoo quickly placed its sword into the air. Sasuke and Yuna gasped while the first Uchiha quickly picked up his female companion and dodged to the side. Yuna hopped down and quickly threw a kunai only for it to be parried by Itachi's shield. Itachi slowly advanced on the two of them before Sasuke and Yuna quickly performed the same handsigns and shouted.

"Katon: Ryūka no Jutsu," Sasuke and Yuna hollered as their flames mixed together and blasted forward while Itachi took notice of the incoming sea of fire. "It is futile. Sasuke, I will have you eyes. You are my light," Itachi said as the shield easily blocked the flames before they dispersed into nothingness.

"What?" Sasuke said, but he then felt his curse mark twitch as he fell to the ground. "Sasuke, are you alright? Sasuke, what wrong?" Yuna asked while Sasuke's suddenly fell short of breath. Yuna could see his curse mark quickly regress and she turned back to see Itachi quickly coming for them both.

"Dammit. What's happening to you?" Yuna asked while Sasuke muttered. "Don't come out, don't come out," he said and Sasuke could hear Orochimaru chuckling with his influence from the curse mark.

"I can give you power to kill your brother. Your truth will lead you to the future that you will see and your truth is that you need my power to make that happen. I will have the sharingan!" Orochimaru shouted as Yuna and Itachi noticed a large spray of white serpents blast Sasuke's curse mark. Yuna gasped and quickly stepped back while Itachi glared up at the eight-headed serpent as they each hissed violently at him.

"Orochimaru's Yamata no Jutsu(Eight-Headed Serpent Technique)," Itachi said to himself while Yuna felt back from the shock. That, and the fact that her legs were wobbly from too much use of her Honshou at once. It wasn't as big as her Shikyō's so that wasn't going well for her. Not to mention with the fact that her eyes just got a little blurry.

The white snakes quickly charged against Itachi's Susanoo before Itachi gave his commands to the guardian. It quickly sliced one head off easily before the snakes bashed against Itachi's guardian. The blow was heavy as it knocked the Susanoo back a little while Itachi cough, his mouth slowly seeping blood from his overuse of his powers. Itachi struggled to concentrate while the guardian sliced off another head. The snakes were too easy targets against the guardian as the head popped off.

"Sasuke!" Yuna shouted as she tried to stand, but she couldn't stop her legs from shaking. She looked up and she was surprised to see all, but one of the eight serpent heads were cut off and slammed against the ground. Zetsu just stared up in shock of what he was looking at while the last snake hissed violently. It then quickly opened its mouth as Yuna and Itachi noticed something begin to surface. A pale man with his slender body and slender arms.

"So it finally emerges?" Itachi muttered to himself while Yuna and Itachi heard chuckling. They each saw Orochimaru laugh while he opened his mouth as he pulled out the Kusanagi Blade and cackled while White Zetsu grimaced.

"There he goes pulling shit out of his mouth as usual. So disgusting," White Zetsu said while Black Zetsu looked out at Orochimaru. "This is the result when Uchiha Sasuke pushed out more chakra than he had at the moment causing the influence of Orochimaru's chakra to surface. He never could stay dead," Black Zetsu said while Orochimaru snickered.

"Thank you Itachi Uchiha. I have finally escaped from this child's body and now I will take him for my own. You cannot stop me! I have also learned something interesting from little Uchiha. So Uchiha Shisui's sharingan is once again available to me? I will take it and when I transplant her eyes with Sasuke. I will be unstoppable!" Orochimaru said while Itachi quickly looked up. The Susanoo brought its sword back and then stabbed Orochimaru across the chest getting a gasp from him while Yuna looked shocked. However both raised their eyebrows as they heard Orochimaru snicker. "Do you really believe that such a puny attack would be able to...," Orochimaru gasped as he felt his essence pulled away while Itachi allowed for a small smirk to come across his face as the sake jar tied to the Susanoo's side opened and quickly began to seal Orochimaru, as well as the white serpent, away into the bottle while the skin quickly began to peel of Sasuke's body. The young Uchiha panted heavily while Yuna just watched in fascination before she noticed a small white snake fall to the ground. It quickly tried to slither away before Yuna stabbed it with a kunai.

"We've had enough of you," she said as its blood stained the ground. The body was sealed away and the large heads dispersed while the sake jar closed. Sasuke panted and he turned to see Yuna huffing. Both glanced to each other before they turned to see Itachi still standing.

"Now, Sasuke your eyes are mine," Itachi said as he walked towards Sasuke, but he didn't get far as he coughed up blood while it washed over his hands. Sasuke and Yuna noticed the Susanoo quickly begin to fade while Sasuke grabbed his sword. "Yuna now!" Sasuke said as he jumped into the air. Yuna, shook her legs, and quickly tried to follow after her lover/cousin as Sasuke jumped into the air.

"Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu," Yuna shouted as she launched a fireball at Itachi. "Uchiha no Hanran: Kiritsumasu( Uchiha Rebellion: Disciplined Will)," Sasuke shouted as his sword suddenly lit up in Raiton as he slammed it into Itachi's shield. However Yuna and Sasuke were easily pushed back as the shield protected Itachi from the blast while at the same time sending Sasuke and his sword flying through the air and slamming to the ground with a groan. Yuna landed also as she placed a hand to her chest. She noticed Itachi ignore her as he made his way for Sasuke. Yuna held out her hand while she struggled to form just one cube if she could muster.

"Jinton:...," Yuna was out of breath as the cube formed, but it quickly dispersed from her lack of a power source while she felt herself fade in and out of consciousness.

"It is useless Uchiha Sasuke, Uchiha Yuna. Itachi's shield cannot be broken through by such conventional means. It really is the best guardian that one can have," Black Zetsu said while White Zetsu looked on. "Then, that means that Itachi's won right?" he asked, but he didn't get a response.

Sasuke sucked his teeth before he went into his pouch and pulled out an explosion kunai. He flung them all forward as they slammed against the shield and exploded one after the other. "Why Itachi? Why did you have to change so much? Why don't you want to be forgiven? Why can't you just admit that I know the truth and don't want to see this happen? I've learned Itachi, I've learned that I can't do everything on my own. You can't either. Stop being a damn coward!" Sasuke grunted out and it was only then that he noticed Itachi's was in front of him. Sasuke stepped back to something solid and noticed a wall. He looked back as he noticed Itachi hold his hand out.

"My light. I need it. I must have it. Just...a little...more," Itachi said as his fingers were inches from Sasuke's face. As Sasuke looked on he noticed Itachi suddenly smile. "I'm sorry Sasuke, there might not be a second time," Itachi said as his Susanoo began to fade. His hand reached out, but Itachi was surprised when Sasuke dodged the hand and instead of a kunai or weapon Itachi noticed Sasuke jab him in the head.

"You always said later, or next time. You also said there might not be another time, but I will make you keep this promise. Itachi, I hate you. Not for killing our clan, but for pushing this responsibility on me. I'm not going to let you die. You're going to atone for what you've done. Do you know why?" Sasuke asked and with his remaining strength Itachi focused his hearing.

"Sasuke! Itachi! Yuna!" Sasuke and Itachi looked back and so did Yuna as they saw Mikoto, Suigetsu, Juugo and Karin running for their location. Sasuke gave a short snort while Itachi widened his blurry eyes. "Kaa...san, you're alive. So it's true. This, is not an Edo Tensei. I do not understand," Itachi said while Sasuke stared at him evenly.

"You will understand. Just give me a few days and in that time you will know what I mean," Sasuke said while Itachi just fell forward. He expected to hit the wall in front of him, but he just found warm as he felt his mother wrap her arms around his head. "That's enough Itachi. Just have a short rest. I promise you will be back," Mikoto said while Itachi's hands fell limp.

"Kaa-san...I'm sorry...for everything that I did against our clan. For the village or not, I still love you all," Itachi said while Sasuke helped Yuna to her feet. She just jabbed Itachi in the shoulder as he turned his head.

"I have to look after Shi-shi's friends or what kind of sister would I be?" Yuna asked while Itachi chuckled. "Thank you Sasuke. Kaa-san, I'm...sleepy," Itachi said while Mikoto smiled. Sasuke frowned as Itachi closed his eyes.

"Then rest, but don't rest for too long. You still have things that you must do," Mikoto said and Itachi nodded as his body slumped to the ground with Mikoto just caressing his hair. Suigetsu, Juugo and Karin looked down sadly while Yuna and Sasuke tried to hold each other up.

"Let's go. We can't stay here, it's too dangerous. Sasuke I don't know why, but Obito wants something from you, but I won't let it happen. We're taking Itachi's body," Mikoto said and they all nodded while Zetsu quickly regressed into the ground having seen enough.

"Yo Sasuke!" Suigetsu called out as he flung his sword for the young Uchiha. Sasuke quickly grabbed his blade and sheathed it while he turned to the one holding him up. "How are you?" he asked Yuna while she chuckled lightly.

"You're all somewhat blurry for me, but I guess that's my fault. I'm...going to sleep," Yuna said as she hung her head down. "Sasuke-san, I'll take her," Juugo said as Sasuke nodded. Juugo picked up the sleeping Yuna while Karin and Suigetsu quickly began to help Sasuke. Mikoto picked up Itachi's body and gave just a lone smile while she turned around.

"That's what I should be asking you Sasuke. How are you?" Mikoto asked and Sasuke snorted. "I don't feel like talking about it. Can we just go now?" he asked getting a small giggle from the others.

"We'll rest a ways away from here and we'll take a boat back to Uzushio. We'll ask Naruto-kun politely to see if he can do anything about this. Let's go," Mikoto said as she quickly rushed off. Suigetsu, Karin, Sasuke, Juugo and Yuna jumped off as well.

"We'll have to inform Madara about this. He won't be pleased to know that things did not go as he expected. Well we'll still have to have Kisame-san go after the Sanbi jinchuuriki. Considering her skills then it won't be long before she's caught," Zetsu said as he quickly disappeared.

Meanwhile, Itachi opened his eyes as he looked at the place where he had his battle with Sasuke. He then looked at his hands and his body. His completely white an intangible body. "What did they mean, that when I die I will understand? But how is Kaa-san back? I cut her down myself. I'm not proud of that, but still. Even Uchiha Shisui's sister is back and now it...," Itachi stopped his ramblings before he was assaulted with information. He widened his eyes as he was shown visions of Naruto, the Shinigami, and spirits bowing to the blonde in reverence while Itachi gasped.

"I see. So that's how he can do these things. That's how Kushina-san is back. That's how Yuna-san is back. How even my Kaa-san is back. Naruto is the Shinigami's summoner. All spirits pay their respects to him because he's earned it. Once a person dies they are told of who they are to always respect in place of the Shinigami. He is...my...Shikyō-sama," Itachi said in shock.

"It's no wonder why Madara was so worried about him after that encounter. It seems that Naruto-kun truly does have something to hide. So if Kaa-san was brought back then she told Sasuke the truth. That means...their going to take my body to him to ask for...," Itachi stayed silent after that as his thoughts were racing, but once he got used to it he could see the thousands of spirits who were clapping at him. He raised an eyebrow while they spoke.

"Impressive fight Nii-chan! You really gave those two a run for their money. Impressive," a man said while Itachi looked around to see the thousands of spirits clapping for him as well. He wasn't sure how to take that so he just floated off. He didn't know where he would go, but he guessed that he would just have to be patient at the moment.

Uzumaki Compound

Kushina sighed as she came through the door rubbing her temples and sat on the couch which happened to be where Yura was at the moment. "Something wrong Kushina-san?" Yura asked while Kushina slowly nodded.

"The council has been adamant about me finding a suitor for the clan if sochi...dies," Kushina said while Yura blinked. "But Nii-sama can't die," Yura said and Kushina nodded to the explanation while she leaned her head back.

"That's the point. They don't know that and sochi is ready my suitor. I haven't exactly made our relationship public you know," Kushina replied and Yura nodded. She could see where that was going fast while she continued to work on something else.

"Where is Fujikaze-san?" Kushina asked and Yura pointed out into the forest behind the Uzumaki Compound. "Far off training underneath a...waterfall. He calls it mental training. I just agreed and watched him go. Shi-san is treating Komachi to lunch and they're taking a break from...this project that they were conducting in the basement. They never told me what it was, but I heard Komachi quickly started showing an interest in our family's art and she's quickly begun in her studies. They're keeping it a secret, whatever it is they're doing," Yura said while Kushina just nodded slightly.

"So long as they aren't doing anything truly dangerous. There are a lot of seals that were made by the clan that could potentially kill an individual if they didn't know what they were doing. They're both generally new to this. I'll talk with them about it later," Kushina said while Yura nodded with a small smile.

"Understand Tayuya? Placing this certain seal to your flute will allow it to increase its range. However I expect you to go over the human body chart if you plan on going through with this idea," Risa said as Kushina and Yura turned to Tayuya grumbling at her mother while Risa just smiled.

"I already went over the fuckin' chart. Why do I have to do it again?" Tayuya asked before she noticed her mother pluck her in the head. "Because you need to memorize the correct patterns for what I'm going to show you with these seals. And stop your fuckin' cursing!" Risa shouted as she bashed Tayuya over the head.

"Hey fuck you old hag!" Tayuya returned while Risa growl. Both glared at each other while Kushina and Yura blinked. However soon they noticed laughing as Risa ruffled Tayuya's hair. "Come on shorty. Let's train you in some Uzumaki taijutsu and then we'll be done for the day. You have to work at the barrier division don't you?" Risa asked while Tayuya grumbled.

"Honestly the shits there don't know the slightest squat about the shitty seals that they're producing. Makes me wonder how this place is still standing," Tayuya muttered to herself as she walked off with her mother.

"Don't those two ever change?" Yura asked while Kushina chuckled. "I doubt they ever well, but that's Risa I suppose. Though Tayuya-san seems to be quite happy with this life in contrast to what sochi told me about her," Kushina said getting Yura to slowly nod. Kushina looked over to what Yura was doing as she noticed on the table was a book on practicing brush strokes which Yura seemed to be doing.

"So you're practicing? Why the sudden thing? I'm actually surprised that you haven't been called for a mission," Kushina said while Yura scratched her cheek. "I would like to somewhat refine my writing so I'm just trying some few things at the moment. As for missions, I actually have one that I will be going on later tonight. Apparently Konoha has some deliveries to make to the neighboring countries and I've been selected to carry the items. Apparently I'm also supposed to...review the actions of Team Ebisu. Tsunade-sama has told me that they show an impressive record so I'm supposed to file reports," Yura said while Kushina raised an eyebrow.

"Isn't that what their sensei is for?" Kushina asked and Yura nodded. "I'm also to make an evaluation of him as well so Tsunade-sama told me not to say anything. They will just be my guards for the duration of the mission. I had the opportunity to meet them myself. They seem nice, though the one Konohamaru-san seems to really idolize Nii-sama. He kept telling me how I was lucky to have someone like Nii-sama for family and I agree with him. I feel very lucky," Yura said and Kushina smiled.

"I do as well. Nothing truly makes me happier than having sochi at my side," Kushina said getting a light chuckle from Yura until the younger redhead noticed that the oldest got a devious grin. "So speaking of sochi staying by someone's side, just...how much have you truly gotten to 'know' sochi?" Kushina asked with a small smile while Yura blushed and looked down into her book.

"I-I-I would like to k-k-keep such things to myself Kushina-san. Nii-sama and I are just fine and in a healthy relationship," Yura said while Kushina raised an eyebrow. "Most people would try to argue that last point, but whatever. However I'm asking because sochi told me of a...particular incident between the two of you. I believe the waiter at the restaurant was knocking on the door while you were moaning 'Just a little longer'?" Kushina asked as Yura buried her face in her book.

"N-Not one of my proudest moments where I can say that I could hold my composure," Yura said while Kushina snickered. "I know what you mean dattebane. However you know, it's coming," Kushina said and Yura looked at the calendar and nodded.

"I know it is," Yura said while Kushina just gave a light chuckle of her pleasant voice. Suddenly both turned as they noticed the door open showing Guren as she rubbed the back of her head and quickly discarded her jonin outfit. "Rough shift with the barrier division?" Yura asked while Guren grumbled.

"That's not the worst of it I tell you. Everyone is just so lazy there. I swear, but at least I'm done. I just came for a drink and some food then I'm going back out to my hobby," Guren said while Yura smiled.

"Ahh making crystals for jewelers?" Yura asked and Guren acknowledged the question with a short nod as she continued to walk up the stairs towards her room. "She works hard doesn't she?" Kushina asked and Yura nodded before they noticed the door open again and they saw Shi and Komachi come through the door.

"I appreciate the lunch. I suppose I needed the break," Komachi said while Shi rolled his eyes. "Komachi, you train in the dojo constantly. I don't want you to overwork yourself that's all. How about you rest and I'll put the project on hold. They are still trying to determine a place for you within Konoha's ranks as I understand it, but I'm just a go-between here. I honestly have no idea how long I am staying, but I'm enjoying my time here," Shi said while Komachi blinked.

"If you believe that rest is necessary then I will take a break I suppose," Komachi said going into the kitchen to fix herself some tea. Shi sighed as he rubbed the back of his head. "Shi-san, if you don't mind I would like to see what this project is that you're working on," Kushina said and Shi noticed her walking towards him.

"Hai Kushina-sama, it's something Komachi and I have come up with as of two days ago. We're busy in getting things organized, but I did feel the need for your guidance in the matter," Shi said while Kushina patted him on the shoulder.

"Don't be so formal Shi-san. As I said, we're all family here. You can show me it just as soon as I have some tea with Komachi-chan," Kushina said getting a nod from Shi.

"I shall set up another cup," Komachi said showing that she had heard the conversation herself. "Please and thank you," Kushina replied as she noticed Shi go into the basement. Kushina just watched him go before walking into the kitchen leaving Yura to her writing though she was sure she couldn't focus upon it after that talk she had with her clan head.

Meanwhile Kushina was sitting with Komachi at the table having their tea as Komachi turned an eye to her possible aunt, relative, or...whatever. She placed her hands on the table while got Kushina to turn to her. "Are you okay?" Kushina asked and Komachi touched her temples.

"I am not sure. I suppose I just require rest is all," Komachi said while Kushina leaned forward. "Well in truth you aren't supposed to be working anyway since neither Tsunade, nor Shizune gave you the all-clear for training. You're just like sochi and myself. Disrespecting medical reports in favor of training," Kushina said while Komachi looked at her spot of tea.

"I am like Naruto-san? I don't see that if I am to be honest. At nights I feel...cold. Even when I know I shouldn't be, but then there is him. I sense lots of things from him. Maybe I just admire him. He's like...the brother that I might've wanted when I was younger. Not knowing the things that I've probably seen in my life is unsettling. But when I see everyone talking, laughing, or training then I wonder, what do I look like when I smile? What's my face like when I laugh? Do I...even know how to laugh? At night I...feel that someone's taught me to fake smile, to fight, defend myself, and even to take on jonin-level missions, but not to act in a civilian setting," Komachi said while Kushina's smile lessened, but not by much as she patted Komachi's shoulder.

"Take it one step at a time dattebane. You won't understand it in one night, but trust me. I think that you have a very amazing laugh and smile. We're not going to leave you to this by yourself. We're all going to be there for you. It's what family is for," Kushina said while Komachi glanced up towards her. She saw Kushina give her a loving smile before Komachi held her head back down.

"Thank you Kushina-sama," Komachi said while Kushina blinked. "Kushina-sama? No formalities between family Komachi. Kushina is fine dattebane," Kushina said while Komachi tilted her head to the side.

"You...say dattebane quite a bit Kushina-san," Komachi said while Kushina blushed. "S-Shut up! I'm just happy dattebane!" Kushina snorted while Komachi just finished her tea. She then quickly escorted Kushina to the basement where Shi was getting ready to unveil what they had been working on.

With Kakashi and Yugao

Both Hinoken members looked over their beheaded target and Yugao quickly pulled out the bingo book. "Confirming the kill of Kobata Akimichi. Rank-B," Yugao said while Kakashi nodded and sheathed his sword into its holster. "Very good Yugao. I think we tackled most of this. Naruto and Sasuke took out the C-ranks and we're getting started on the B's. However we'll all have to be on guard once we make the A-S ranks. Those can get you killed," Kakashi said while Yugao snickered.

"Not like death has even stopped one of us," Yugao said and Kakashi snickered. "I don't deny that part, but we can't take him for granted Yugao. In truth, the only one who hasn't asked for anything from him has been you," Kakashi said and Yugao folded her arms.

"That just makes me more humble than you, senpai," Yugao answered and Kakashi narrowed his visible eye before turning it into an eyesmile. "I suppose you are. Just like us you know what it's like to lose someone. I figured that you would want Hayate back," Kakashi said while Yugao gave a simple chuckle.

"I'll tell you the same thing that I told Naruto-san. I really would like to have him back, but knowing that he'll die again someday doesn't make it much better for me. I don't know I think I would just like to meet him myself when I'm through," Yugao said while Kakashi patted her shoulder.

"Well until that time I'll have to keep you around as much as possible. You're both my friends after all," Kakashi said while Yugao nodded. "Ever since joining this team and everything about it, I haven't gone to the memorial stone once. I feel...Hayate understands that I love this team," Yugao said and Kakashi chuckled.

"I haven't either. I still remember sensei, but now I have Rin and...," Kakashi suddenly stopped as he looked down at the grass while Yugao frowned. "Have you and Rin-san thought about what you're going to do with him? He's angered the Shinigami for some reason and Naruto has responsibilities to his summon. He's giving both of you a chance to do something, but then again I never thought that Obito-san was one to be like this," Yugao said while Kakashi looked up at the sky.

"No, I guess he isn't. I haven't had the time to sit down with Rin and discuss everything like I want so we don't have anything concrete. I'm just hoping that he'll listen to us before it's too late," Kakashi while Yugao quickly sealed the head in a scroll and gave it to Pakkun while the dog just saluted them both and left.

"Well I'm sure that you'll think of something I suppose. So how has...Rin-san been since...you've both been around each other a lot?" Yugao asked and Kakashi turned to her. "Exactly what are you assuming?" Kakashi asked and Yugao scratched her cheek.

"Well that Rin-san's been maturing a lot in the few months and you both have spent a...moderate amount of time together. I was just wondering if Kakashi-senpai was...trying to rekindle some old flames," Yugao said while Kakashi's eyebrow twitched.

"Maa maa Yugao, I guess Rin-chan's just...become a lot more grown up as a result. We're just friends," Kakashi said while Yugao nodded. "Hai hai Senpai. I'll take your word for it," Yugao said while Kakashi just smiled before they noticed a poof next to them. Both looked down as they noticed just a lone scroll. No animal, no markings, no nothing. Kakashi and Yugao knew what this meant as it was always a way for Mikoto to summon for their aid or to send information.

"A scroll from Mikoto-san? I haven't heard from her in a while," Kakashi said as he picked up the scroll and unfurled it. Yugao blinked as she waited for Kakashi to tell her what was in it and she saw Kakashi's hands tremble slightly. He then furled it back up and placed it in his pouch with a heavy sigh.

"They found Itachi. Unfortunately he gave them a rough time and now they have his body. They're making their way back to Uzushio at the moment," Kakashi said while Yugao sighed. "I see. So they're going back to see if Naruto can get any answers from him. It seems like something that he would do," Yugao said while Kakashi turned around.

"Once we're done for the day I'll send this message to Kushina. We'll see what she thinks, but I have a feeling that Mikoto-san, Sasuke, and Yuna-san are going to be waiting a while. Naruto went to Kiri on a diplomatic mission along with Yuri, Yukimaru, Fuka-san and Jiraiya-sama. I doubt he'll be going to Uzushio for a little bit," Kakashi said while Yugao folded her arms.

"Well he could just teleport himself there right? He does have that technique that we almost got to fully see back in Kumo. I could make a quick stop there and then head to Konoha in the same day which makes me wonder why he didn't just teleport himself to Kiri like last time with Kumo," Yugao said and Kakashi chuckled.

"I doubt it's a technique that he wants everyone to know about. There has already been word of a second Yellow Flash and I believe that I read reports of Iwa's unrest on that information. No doubt they would want something," Kakashi said while Yugao nodded.

"Well Naruto-san can handle himself I'm sure. Not many people are like him," Yugao said and Kakashi agreed on that with her as the two quickly shot off through the woods to continue through the last few pages of B's in the bingo book.

With Naruto and Co. two days later

Naruto slept peacefully with Yuri and Yukimaru by his side while Fuka was humming to herself while reading a book. Jiraiya just seemed to be looking out at the endless sea that was in front of him. His thoughts had plagued him ever since he and Naruto had that talk. Jiraiya had hidden it well, but he had to hand it that Naruto's sensor abilities were really coming along as the blonde had a feeling when people's chakra was disturbed. As expected of the Uzumaki. "Fuka-san, wake up the brat. We're getting to land," Jiraiya said while Fuka smiled.

"You got it Ero-sennin-kun," Fuka said as she quickly stood over Naruto and kissed him on the forehead. Naruto mumbled as he opened one eye to see Fuka smiling at him. "Rise n' shine Naruto-kun. We're about to disembark to Kiri. Now we can go and meet our other cousin," Fuka said while Naruto nodded.

"Alright then," Naruto said as Yuri and Yukimaru yawned themselves awake. Soon their ship quickly hit the docks as the planks were lowered. Naruto and his friends made it off the ship and, after thanking the captain for the ride, quickly rushed off through the towns of bustling people and headed towards Kirigakure which would only be a short little walk.

"Ugh this mist really is ruining my hair," Fuka said brushing it to the side. Naruto shook his head while Yuri gave a short chuckle. Yukimaru fished through his pocket for something to read. Jiraiya just kept pace with Naruto while Yuri decided to offer a response. "You always seem to take care of your hair the most Fuka-neechan. It still looks great!" She complimented while Fuka snickered.

"If you say so," she returned as they continued in their walking. It really didn't take any time of all for them to arrive at the gates and once the mist began to clear Naruto could see two guards at the gates just like in Konoha. The two guards leaned over their desk before they quickly stepped out and appeared before Naruto and his group.

"Stop right there. What business does Konoha have here?" one of them asked while Naruto quickly went into his pouch and pulled out a letter. "I am here on behalf of Godaime Hokage, Tsunade Senju, and Konoha. We're here on diplomacy to Mizukage-sama. Inform her that we've arrived," Naruto said while the guards glanced to each other.

"That won't be necessary. I already realize that you're here. Ao told me he felt a large signature and I figured that it could only be you. Welcome to Kirigakure...my family," Mei said smiling. Yuri and Fuka smiled slightly while Yukimaru gazed in awe of the pretty woman in front of him.

"We appreciate you having us," Naruto said holding out his hand while Mei was more than ready to shake it before everyone sweatdropped as Jiraiya pushed Naruto out of the way and grabbed her hand. "Hello miss. Forgive my pupil. He hasn't even complimented a woman as beautiful as yourself," Jiraiya said while Naruto's eyebrow twitched. Yuri shook his head while Fuka pinched the bridge of her nose.

"Naruto-niisan, are you alright?" Yukimaru asked helping Naruto to his feet while the blonde rubbed his head. "Yeah thank you Yukimaru. I'm fine. Just...annoyed," Naruto said and from inside his sword, the others felt the same way.

"Jiraiya-sama really has not changed," Yahiko said shaking his head while Pakura snorted before ignoring it. Gari rolled his eyes while Dan held his head down in embarrassment. Suiren just watched on slightly amused by the scene in front of her, but slightly angry of the disrespect to her summoner. Well she'd ignore it this time.

"He seems...eccentric," Suiren responded. Yahiko just shook his head at the scene as no one had anything to say anymore to that little incident.

"Umm pleased to meet you. Your words are too kind. I have heard tales of the great Jiraiya and his efforts. We're pleased to have you within Kiri," Mei said while Jiraiya chuckled lecherously. However he then noticed Mei subtly squeeze his hand sending a jolt of pain while he noticed her smile while she leaned close to his ear. "However if you ever push my little, adorable cousin like that again I will melt you. Sannin or not," Mei while Jiraiya whimpered.

"Well with formalities out of the way, shall we head to the Mizukage Mansion? It's still early Naruto-san so if you wish we can get you settled to relax as much as possible. Your friends are allowed to come as they please," Mei said and Naruto dusted himself off.

"Thank you Mei-san," Naruto said as he, Yuri, Yukimaru and Fuka passed a very stiff Jiraiya. "That's what you get Ero-sennin. She's my mother's cousin for a reason," Naruto said in his thoughts and he heard Kyuubi snicker at those thought before going silent.

Ao quickly set them up in a hotel as Yuri dropped her stuff and so did Yukimaru. Fuka sighed as she fell to a soft bed while Naruto did the same. "Wait, everyone has someone to sleep with besides me? Naruto, let's switch!" Jiraiya said while Naruto turned his head and noticed Fuka brushing her hair.

"Yeah no I'm not going to do that Ero-sennin. You've hit on one of my family members already. Give it a rest and behave yourself. I'm the lead on this mission so you'll be following my orders," Naruto said while Jiraiya snorted.

"Keh brat if you think you're at the stage where you can order me around then you've got another thing coming. Just cause your mother trained you doesn't mean you're as good as me. You're still wet behind the ears," Jiraiya said while Naruto's hands trailed along his sword. He eagerly wanted to prove something out, but Kiri wasn't the place to do it. So Naruto reigned himself in and took a deep breath.

"Deal with it then Ero-sennin. Now since the meeting isn't till a little later then I'm going to head to the Mizukage Mansion to talk with Mei-chan. See how she's been. Yuri and Yukimaru can do as they wish and Fuka-chan will complete her mission while Ero-sennin behaves," Naruto said as he came and closed the door. Jiraiya grumbled about disrespectful brats and not knowing their place while Fuka just quickly walked out of the room without a care in the world.

"Time to go to some weapon shops. I need more ink to practice my seal making. Wanna come with me Yukimaru?" Yuri asked and Yukimaru nodded as they walked off leaving only Jiraiya in his room. He gave a lonely sigh before he started on his own business.

Naruto exited the hotel quickly and made his way through Kiri. He could see the people conversing with each other, but he also wondered how they had adapted to a life in the mist with it always being around, but he just felt that it was a part of their own way of life. Naturally people were more aligned to the water affinity here and he was sure that he could find some scrolls for sealing water jutsu. Thinking back, maybe he could also ask Mei for some metals. After all Kiri was renowned for their swords, just like Kumo...in a sense.

Also Naruto wasn't sure, but he thought that someone was following him. He narrowed his eyes slightly before he quickly walked past a corner. Indeed there was a person following him as they turned the corner fast only to see that the blonde was gone. "What? Where did he go?" the person thought while Naruto raised an eyebrow.

"I didn't think that I would be suspected of anything so fast. Who are you supposed to be?" Naruto asked getting a shock from the male, now that Naruto was able to see him, and get him to hastily turn around to see Naruto with his arms folded.

"h-How did you know I was following you?" he asked while Naruto raised an eyebrow "You're not very subtle. Oh wait, by any chance are you Chojuro?" Naruto asked while the blue haired boy quickly straightened up.

"H-Hai, that is my name. Also I didn't truly mean to follow you per-se. I was just told by Mizukage-sama, if you were looking for her, then to join her in her office," Chojuro said while Naruto blinked.

"Well that's where I was going anyway, but thanks anyway. Also loosen up buddy. You're so stiff," Naruto said as he patted Chojuro on his back. The teen gulped before he and Naruto exited the alley and made their way towards the Mizukage Mansion.

"So Naruto-san, i-it's become well-known in Kiri that the Terumi clan was related to the Uzumaki clan through the marriage of the clan heads. Have you noticed the people?" Chojuro asked and as Naruto looked around he could see people looking at him with smiles, awe, and even some shock put in there.

"Now that you mention it, yeah I do see that a lot now," Naruto said while Chojuro nodded. "Once Mei-sama figured out about her family then she, more than ever, wished to learn more of her history to the Uzumaki. I was just curious about your relation to her," Chojuro said while Naruto rubbed the back of his head.

"I would guess aunt, cousin, or something like that. Doesn't really matter to me. Family is family dattebayo," Naruto said while Chojuro slowly nodded. "I-I see. Well that is an interesting way of thinking," Chojuro said and Naruto as they came up to the Mizukage Mansion. Naruto walked inside and Chojuro followed him. They both walked up the stairs and Naruto could feel a sense of familiarity between Kiri and Konoha since the two seemed to have nearly the same internal structure.

Naruto and Chojuro turned to each other one last time while Naruto knocked on the door. "Come in," he heard Mei say as he opened the door to see Mei patiently waiting for her cousin to come join her. "I have brought Naruto-san, Mei-sama," Chojuro said and just as he did, Naruto pouted.

"Though I was coming here myself so we can just say that I brought myself," Naruto said getting Chojuro and Mei to sweatdrop. "Thank you Chojuro. You may go now," Mei said while Chojuro bowed and then left leaving the two relatives alone.

The silence seemed to be the only thing that they could tell was happening at the moment as Naruto looked at Mei. She wrote a few things down before she looked up. "Now Naruto-kun, I am your mother's cousin after all. I'm not going to bite," Mei said with a friendly smile while Naruto folded his arms.

"I'm sure you wouldn't, but you even if you are a Terumi, you have that playful Uzumaki glare that Yuri has on occasion that makes me keep my guard up," Naruto said and Mei quickly chuckled to herself as she flipped a piece of her hair. "Is that right? Well I guess I could take after Kushi-chan," Mei said while Naruto gave a slow nod.

"But you obviously came here for a reason if you didn't need Chojuro to summon you. I also doubt this is about the meeting of diplomacy so why don't you tell me why you're here," Mei insisted and Naruto raised an eyebrow.

"But you summoned him to get me as well. There is something that you want to say as well isn't there?" Naruto asked and Mei nodded to his question as she placed an ink pen to the ground. "That is correct. However I would like it if you went first," Mei said while Naruto slowly nodded.

"Alright then. I also want you to understand that I mean no disrespect to you or your village when I ask this," Naruto paused while Mei raised an eyebrow before slowly nodding. "How...no let me rephrase that, what was Kiri's purpose in making Rin Nohara the Sanbi jinchuuriki?" Naruto asked.

With Sasuke

"I'm cutting the rope!" Suigetsu shouted to everyone else while they nodded. Suigetsu quickly did just that and then hopped on the while the ship quickly began to sail off into the distance. "Juugo-san, could you please lay Itachi's body on the deck?" Mikoto asked rather tiredly. Juugo bowed before he gently placed Itachi's lone body on the wooden ship while Sasuke and Yuna leaned against the side of the ship as they looked at the elder Uchiha's body. He just seemed to be sleeping or something like that. Sasuke rubbed his eyes while Yuna turned to him.

"Are you okay?" she asked and Sasuke looked up at the sky. "Not really," he replied. Yuna just laid her head on his shoulders while Sasuke looked out into the open sea.

"Mikoto Uchiha-san," Karin said getting Mikoto's attention as she turned around. "Yes?" Mikoto asked while Karin quickly look at Itachi's body and then looked back at Mikoto.

"I have my concerns of Akatsuki's intentions in this sudden matter. It is known by nearly all of us that Yuri-san is the Sanbi's latest host and somehow Akatsuki knows. I just wonder, Itachi-san said that it was his mission to retrieve the Sanbi jinchuuriki. Does that mean that his partner will be coming for her?" Karin asked and Mikoto sighed.

"I do not know. I had heard from that masked man that he does plan to do something about the jinchuuriki. I don't know what it is, but it plans to be big I suppose. However, when I see Itachi laying there then I think of the struggle he had to put up with," Mikoto said.

"His struggle is not so amazing. He thinks he interrupted my plans, but he hasn't. He's only delayed what I have been preparing. I have planned for every contingency," Mikoto and Karin widened their eyes as did Yuna. They all quickly turned their heads as they noticed Tobi standing on the top of the ship.

"How did he get here? We should be at least a while away from the land. This wasn't a coincidence. How did he find us? Karin is the best sensor we have on this makeshift team. She would've warned me," Mikoto thought while Tobi casted his glare at everyone.

"You just don't know when you aren't needed," Suigetsu called out, but Tobi paid him little mind. He looked at Itachi's body and narrowed his only visible sharingan eye. "Well the only use I really had for him was his eyes. Anything else is useless to me. So I'll be taking them now. Let's just say that it's for all those times that I...watched out for him," Tobi said, but suddenly he cursed as his mask bursted in black flames. Mikoto and everyone else gasped before they noticed Sasuke straining his eyes forward.

"Sasuke," Yuna and Mikoto nearly said in unison while Tobi suddenly fell off the top and to the back of the ship. Sasuke's eyes soon twitched before he covered them with his hands. Itachi, who had hovered over them to see what everyone was doing, gave just a small smile. "Sasuke...I knew you could do it. If only I could hug you right now," Itachi said floating above them. Not like he could do much else. He couldn't interfere with the living anymore.

"Sasuke, are you alright?" Karin asked quickly allowing her hands to glow green as she placed them over Sasuke's eyes.

"I see. So Itachi gave you a little precaution in case I came to you. Still as crafty as ever even in death," Tobi said while Mikoto snarled. "How dare you make a mockery of my son!" She growled out. Sasuke stood to his feet as did Yuna while Juugo and Suigetsu stayed close to Itachi's body.

"I make a mockery of him because he is a waste. Still caring about Konoha and its 'Will of Fire'. There is no fire, or hope. There is only despair and darkness," Tobi said to them all. Juugo and Suigetsu frowned while Karin gritted her teeth.

"You really have had this consistent. You're the one who doesn't understand," Mikoto said getting Tobi to smirk behind his mask. "It makes no difference what you say to me. I will complete my plan and I will save this world from its own destruction. The death of those two Uzumaki will be the ending to it all," Tobi said.

Mikoto frowned before she inched back to Itachi's body just as a precaution. "There is still Raikage-sama's brother. You aren't bold enough to just go into Kumo that casually are you? It's not something that will continue to happen," Mikoto said and Tobi suddenly sat down on the top of the boat while placing his head in his left hand.

"The Hachibi jinchuuriki is by far of little consequence. He will be captured in due time. You prolong the inevitable. Now why don't you tell me the reason for your revival Mikoto-san? I was sure that Itachi cut you down since I had been in the Uchiha Compound to see your blood smeared across the floor," Tobi said. Itachi held his head down at that, but nothing he said would be heard so he just settled for listening.

"What my son did does not matter to me. It will not stop me from loving him dearly just as much as Sasuke. Also you have no need to worry about why I'm around. It just so happens that my son was not the killer you expected him to be," Mikoto said with a smirk.

"This has something to do with the Kyuubi jinchuuriki does it not? Ever since his return to Konoha he's been a rather concerning part of my plan. He's just like his father, still a follower of your village's pathetic ideals," Tobi said while Mikoto snarled.

"Leave Shikyō-sama out of this!" Yuna shouted angrily getting Tobi to glance towards her. "Shikyō? I have heard that word before. Hmmm this requires some investigation," Tobi thought to himself.

"Like I would actually try and let you take my family. You're no better than Orochimaru!" Karin growled out. Tobi spared her a glance and lightly chuckled. "That's right. You're an Uzumaki also. Well that just makes it better doesn't it? That's right. The era when there are villages is soon to be over! I will bring back the era of the clans. All villages will come together to form one large clan under the rule of the sharingan. Under the power of Uchiha Madara. As Uchiha, isn't it your duty to aid your clan head in his vision?" Tobi asked. Sasuke, Yuna and Mikoto just stared at him in anger while Mikoto cleared her throat.

"Former clan head. Also that is enough with the 'Uchiha Madara' thing. We all know that you are not Uchiha Madara. How could you turn out this way Obito? You were such a kind boy," Mikoto said and Tobi casted a murderous look upon everyone. He quickly held out his left hand getting Mikoto to widen her eyes as she quickly brought her sword to a defensive position while Sasuke and Yuna gasped. "Hisan Ankoku Seiun( Dark Cloud Shattering)," Tobi muttered as black lighting poured from his hand and shot towards Mikoto in the short distance. Itachi gasped and so did everyone else as the lightning slammed into Mikoto's sword. It quickly began to spread as it encased her body while Mikoto dropped to the ground in agony.

"Kaa-san!" Sasuke said as he got to his feet. "There is no kindness in my heart. I doubt there is even a heart. All I have is a hole there. Fall into the black despair of lightning," Tobi said while Mikoto growled. She steadily kept her sword in its defensive position before she placed both hands on the handle and everyone watched as her sharingan glared back at Tobi's.

"Uchiha no Hanran: Sōba Senritsu( Uchiha Revenge: Twin Blade Shiver)," Mikoto said and Tobi raised an eyebrow as he noticed chakra surge through Mikoto's sword before she flung quickly threw her sword upwards and everyone watched as the black lightning was redirected into the skies where it exploded off into the clouds. Sasuke and Yuna then went back to Tobi as they, Juugo and Suigetsu readied themselves to attack, but they noticed Tobi behind to warp away. "Such is expected of Uchiha kenjutsu. You will follow my plan, all of you. Whether you like it or not," Tobi said as he quickly warped away.

"Mikoto-sama, are you okay?" Yuna asked holding Mikoto up while she gave a small smile a brushed her frizzy hair. "I'm fine. Just a little put off," Mikoto said while Karin quickly rolled up her sleeves.

"Mikoto-san, my chakra has healing properties. Please bite me," Karin said and Mikoto raised an eyebrow before gently biting down. Karin gave a light grimace, but everyone watched as the chakra slowly began to heal whatever was wrong with Mikoto bring her back to full health.

"When we get back we're going to be having Zabuza-san, Haku-san and Rin-san form a barrier division. The island of Uzushio probably isn't so hard to find if Tobi-san can find it himself," Mikoto said while Sasuke snarled.

"Shouldn't we just take care of him before he starts this? They're not going to stop until they have Yuri, Naruto, or Kumo's jinchuuriki in their grasp. Judging by things, we're not looking well," Sasuke said and Mikoto agreed.

"That is true Sasuke, but we don't know where they are currently. For now we'll just have to play it by ear. Looking for them directly won't seem to have an immediate change on what we want to happen so we'll just have to be on hold," Mikoto said and everyone agreed before they heard a poof. Mikoto looked down and she noticed Katsuyu, or rather a smaller version of her.

"Katsuyu? What's the matter? Is there something that Tsunade wants?" Mikoto asked picking up the slug while the bluish-white slug nodded. "Hai, this is a message from Kushina-san using me with Tsunade's permission. A scroll was to be delivered to you," Katsuyu said as she dropped the scroll that had been tied to her back.

"We appreciate it. Thank you," Mikoto said. Katsuyu gave a short bow before dispelling allowing Mikoto to bend down and pick up the scroll. She unstrapped the rope and unfurled the scroll. Everyone waited in silence for her to explain as they noticed Mikoto read along its lines. Itachi landed right next to her and decided to read as well, but he was always a fast reader and just glared at the thing in front of him.

"Kaa-san, what is it?" Sasuke asked and Mikoto quickly pocketed the scroll. "Two days ago I had sent a scroll to Kakashi and Yugao telling them that...we accomplished the mission with Itachi. I'd think that Kakashi gave it to Kushina and Kushina to Tsunade. So we're...getting the money from Itachi's bounty," Mikoto really didn't like the way that sounded as she didn't want to make profit off her son's death and she knew that neither Sasuke nor Yuna was too thrilled about the way that she worded it either.

"However since we've accomplished it, Kushina is preparing to come to Uzushio since she's the only one of our team who's back in Konoha. We're meeting at Uzushio to figure out what we're going to do with Itachi and she says that she's already sent a letter to Naruto telling him to come to Uzushio once the diplomatic mission is finished. Also Kakashi and Yugao have been doing the Bingo Book so the money of Hinoken's account is following well. Kushina wishes to discuss the conditions of Itachi's revival once we all meet. I assume that Kakashi and Yugao got one and are heading back to Uzushio, Tsunade has already agreed to this so we have no need to worry about it I don't believe. We'll just have to wait for Naruto and his entourage to finish what they're doing," Mikoto said getting the others to nod as their ship continued to sail off into the distance.

KG: Fubuki was a kunoichi from Yukigakure! She was...insane! And not in a good way! Seriously her using that chakra armor, she could just barely do anything! Yeah so she fought Sasuke on equal terms in the first part of their landing. So what? That does nothing. She was caught off-guard by...Sakura?! And her flinging multiple kunai tags and then taken down by Sasuke? Come on now! Couldn't you offer a good role at all?

KG: Fubuki is number nine in the countdown because she relied too much on that damn chakra armor. You're not invincible girlie. You can still die just like everyone else, though you kinda proved that point. Learn some more shinobi skills woman! You shame Haku with you Hyoton!

KG: And you had the nerve to die by Sasuke in that Shishi Rendan that you couldn't even dodge, or counter with that so-called 'awesome chakra armor?' some armor it was if you and your partner exploded!
