(Third Person)
"We've officially passed the halfway point of the first round. In the sixth match, we have someone who wouldn't spark a memory! The disappearing Maeko Nagai of the general course! Versus! The lighting quick spark! Denki Kaminari of the hero course!" Present Mic announces. "If the first match was any indication that these general students have hidden talents! Kaminari will have to be on guard!"

"Want to grab something to eat when we're done here," Kaminari asked Maeko.

"Ready! And Begin!" Present Mic shouts into the microphone.

"What," Maeko said with contempt.

"I'll be happy to console you if you want. Because this match will probably…" Kaminari confidently said, spewing electricity off his body. "Be over in an instant." Kaminari discharged his electricity and made contact with Maeko.

Maeko felt the full effects of Kaminari's 1.3 million volts. To the onlookers, she didn't scream or showed any signs of pain but she was indeed feeling an agonizing amount of pain. She falls onto one knee only breathing heavily, "Argh. I'll give you credit. Compared to the back alley thugs. Your electricity is definitely much stronger than any I've felt so far." She clenches her body with one eye closed barely staying conscious and looks up at Kaminari whose brain was now short circuited.

Maeko uses her quirk solely focusing on Kaminari and nothing else. With the question, what was Kaminari's weakness? She figures out Kaminari's quirk and how it works and its weakness of short circuiting his brain after a big discharge like the one he just performed through the memory she sees."You would have been better off using a taser," she managed to speak out.

"What constitution! Nagai is still conscious after getting hit by all that electricity! And it looks like Kaminari is defenseless after his discharge. But will Nagai be able to get back up again!" Present Mic says.

Normally she would make the electricity miss but too many people saw it and remembered it to change that memory. But she was already about to lose consciousness so if she had done that she would just fall unconscious as soon as she changed it.

She could revert her body's memories to before being hit with electricity, but reversing her body would also mean reversing Kaminari's body. And because this is a one on one she would be at a stalemate. Knowing that she would only get weaker if she had done anything more with her quirk, she stood back up struggling to stay balanced.

"Nagai is standing back up! But it looks like Kaminari is still in his dumb mode! Does this spell defeat for Kaminari!" Present Mic dramatically announces.

Maeko slowly makes her way over to the brain dead Kaminari with every step bringing the feeling of scorching fire burning throughout her body. She grins through the pain. Then when she was close enough to Kaminari she took him by the hand and with all her strength she swung Kaminari and hurled him out of the ring with no resistance from Kaminari. Maeko then succumbs to the electricity after using the last of her strength to throw Kaminari out of the ring, falling face first to the floor, unconscious.

Midnight notices that Maeko is unconscious so she announces, "Kaminari is out of the ring! Maeko is unconscious! But since Kaminari was out of the ring before she was knocked out, so Maeko moves on to the next round." The crowd cheers as a stretcher is brought out to carry Maeko.

"Amazing! Not only does a support student pass on to the next round, so does a general student. Akari Shimizu and Maeko Nagai are certainly the underdogs of this tournament! Don't you agree!" Said Present Mic.

"Underdog or not Kaminari clearly underestimated the durability of his opponent. Nagai was already at a severe disadvantage with the fact that it's harder to use her quirk with so many people watching. But without revealing too much personal information, she has much more experience in fights than many of the first year students here," commented Eraser Head.

(First Person)
The fight had just finished and I was left awestruck. I was hoping Maeko would win, but I was also cheering for Kaminari since he also lost the first round in the original story. Hopefully, Maeko is fine and not too badly injured. But knowing her I think she will be fine after a moment of rest.

"Maeko's durability is something to look out for. Knowing that she can't use her quirk so freely because so many people would make it so she can't do battle with an audience. She might have used her quirk but there weren't any visual indications that she did. If she didn't use her quirk then her sheer willpower and determination kept her going for a long while. Aizawa sensei said she had a lot of experience with fights. So in a hand to hand combat with anyone that isn't good in that field or has a powerful quirk would be a difficult battle to win for the opposition. But going over the battle, Kaminari could have used his electricity a little bit smarter. He was probably thinking to end it all in one go but then…" Izuku goes on to mumble again.

"Hey, Izuku... You're rambling again." I say to Izuku.

Izuku covers his mouth again, "Sorry. I can't help it. I'll try not to next time."

"Well, yeah. Because the next round is just Ashido and Aoyama. You already know a lot about them," I say to which Izuku's face looks like a sad puppy. "I was joking. Don't give me that face. Just try to keep it on the down low. I like your analysis, but I don't think everyone here wants to hear your mumbling."

He again apologizes then the next match between Ashido and Aoyama. It goes the same as the original with Asido winning with a finishing uppercut. Izuku this time mumbles less and lowered his voice even quieter than before and continues to ramble.

Now it's the match I've been looking forward to seeing. Youta versus Yaoyorozu. Hopefully, Yaoyorozu gets to show off her skills unlike in the original where she didn't get the chance to counterattack. I also wonder how strong Youta has gotten.

(Third Person)
Youta and Yaoyorozu walk into the ring. "The Eighth Match. We Have The Controller Of Light Youta Okazaki! Versus The Creator Of All Things Momo Yaoyorozu! Which will come out on top, the controller or the creator! Ready! Start!"

Yaoyorozu immediately created a small round shield on her arm waiting to see what Youta might do. Noticing Youta has his eyes closed and seemingly not moving she creates a metal, six-feet rod, and charges in to attack. Thinking of ways she could win but not knowing what Youta could do with his quirk. The only thing she could think of now was to attack or wait for him to make the first move, but hearing and seeing how versatile his light could be, going on the attack now was the best option.

"What's going on! Youta has his eyes shut and doesn't seem to be making a move at all! He better watch out though. Yaoyorozu seems to be going on the offense!" Present Mic says.

Yaoyorozu swings the metal rod down onto Youta aiming for the shoulder but right before it could make contact a small red light intercepts the attack. Youta opens his eyes and says "Thanks for taking your time. It takes a second for me to wake back up in a not so dire situation."

Surprised, Yaoyorozu couldn't stop Youta from taking the opportunity to grab her wrist of the hand that was holding the metal rod and twisting it behind her then pinning her to the ground and dropping the rod. "Was this your plan? Wait for me to get close then capture me," said Yaoyorozu.

"No. You just lost concentration. I could tell since I've been around a certain someone who tends to lose concentration when using her quirk too much," Youta replied. Yaoyorozu struggles but can't move Youta, "I would recommend you surrender. I have another friend that doesn't like to see people get hurt."

"With one quick and precise movement Okazaki has Yaoyorozu pinned to the ground! How will she get out of this one!" Present Mic says.

"You talk as if you already won," Yaoyorozu replied. "But I think you underestimated me." Yaoyorozu creates a large ring around the wrist Youta was holding, freeing that arm. Then she creates another metal rod pushing against the ground, lifting herself back up and making Youta get off of her.

"I would have been worried if you had gave up," said Youta now standing still.

"I prefer if you didn't say anything at all," Yaoyorozu creates a smoke bomb and throws it and it goes off surrounding the area with smoke.

"What's this!? Yaoyorozu has created a smokescreen and covered the area with smoke! Just what could she be planning," said President Mic.

"Blinding my vision knowing that my red light will reveal my location. Nice move," said Youta with a smile. He hears the sound of the metal clanking against the ground and rolling, "But can you hit me before I hit you." Youta made his red light as wide and as long as he was. Then pushed it forward but it doesn't make contact with anything.

Youta hears something being created by Yaoyorozu then something landed next to his feet. With a closer look, it was a flash bang with the pin released. Youta immediately calls back his light and moves the flashbang but it goes off right as the red light had touched it.

"What was that flash of light? By the sound of it. It looks like Youta isn't the only one who can control light," Present Mic announces.

Yaoyorozu now has an opportunity to attack Youta now that he is disoriented. Smoke was still covering the area but Yaoyorozu could just about make out Youta's red light. Going in for an attack she lands a solid hit on Youta's head. Or at least that's what she thought she had hit. What she had actually hit was Youta's red light.

Youta, in the moment of the flashbang, had dispelled his red light and reactivated his quirk to negate the effects of the flashbang because he had stopped his senses. Seeing that this was a very dire situation the quirk reactivated and the light appeared but Youta takes a second to process what had happened. Yaoyorozu then backs away into the smoke. Youta remembers to take a breath and he was breathing sporadically, "This is a little more dangerous than I thought…" He coughs as he inhaled smoke, "But I think it's time to get a bit serious. You had your chance, so now it's game over."

Youta's red light is now spinning quickly around him. Creating a wind current blowing away the smoke. Yaoyorozu was unable to get close to Youta while he was doing this. Present Mic says, "Okazaki, using his red light, created a fan! Blowing away all the smoke! It looks like Yaoyorozu isn't the only one who can create things!"

The smoke now cleared, Youta stops spinning his light and now is staring down at Yaoyorozu as she stares back. Yaoyorozu knows that the moment she creates anything Youta will attack and she has no way of simultaneously responding to his attack while creating something. Knowing there was nothing left but to attack because she hadn't created anything else, she charges headlong at Youta with her rod ready in hand.

"A last effort move, I see. I'm kind of glad Akumi has a class vice president like you. It's really reassuring. But I'll say it again. Game over." Youta raises an arm out at Yaoyorozu and in the blink of an eye, the red light encases Yaoyorozu in a sphere and brings her out of the ring. Yaoyorozu tried breaking out of the light but it didn't work as Youta set her down outside the ring and dispelled his light.

"Yaoyorozu is out of the ring! Okazaki is the victor and will be moving on to the next round!" Midnight announces.

"That was one roller coaster of a ride! Yaoyorozu did put up a good fight but it looks like the controller is better at creating the win than the creator at controlling the battle!" Present Mic announced.

(First Person)
"Wow. I haven't seen him use that move since. Well, since grade school," I say. I heard Izuku mumbling but couldn't make out what he was saying, but it seems like he was quieter now since the others didn't seem to hear it either. But the next match, Kirishima versus Tetsutetsu. I tapped Izuku on the shoulder startling him for a second and said, "I'll give you a spoiler. They're going to tie for the next round."

"Huh?! What?! Why? No how. Ah, uh, wait why are you telling me this," Izuku stutters.

"Go talk to Uraraka. I think she might need your help. But if she says she doesn't then let her be," I say.

"Uraraka? I did notice something was wrong but why me. Wouldn't your help be better," Izuku replied.

"Let's call it a girl's intuition. It's better if you do it since you're someone she admires more," I wink at Izuku. Izuku doesn't seem to understand the gesture, "Just go. It will turn out fine either way. Whether you help or not, that is." Izuku nods and leaves.

Time passes on and the match starts the same with Kirishima and Tetsutetsu going blow for blow with their hardening. There wasn't much I could comment on since they were just punching each other until someone passed out. But now it was almost Uraraka and Katsuki's turn in the ring. Izuku and Ida arrived back. "Hey, you two. So what did she say," I asked.

Ida looked confused at what I said but Izuku replied, "She said… She will see one of us in the finals."

"That's good to hear. All that's left is to watch," I say and cross my arms watching them bring stretchers to carry the unconscious bodies of Kirishima and Tetsutetsu out of the ring.

"Can we talk in private, Akumi," Izuku asked.

This surprised me a little so I asked, "But don't you want to watch the next fight."

"I have a feeling you and I both know who's going to win that fight…"

I looked at Izuku and he was serious. I sigh, "Alright. Lead the way." I got up from my seat and followed Izuku. Ida wanted to know what was happening but Izuku said this was a private family matter which seemed to not put Ida at ease but did make him understand a little. We went through the hallway walking towards the prep room.

We entered the prep room and it was just us. "So… What did you want to talk about?"

"How… How do you know so much about everything? No, why do you know so much about people you have never even met before."

This stunned me. I knew eventually this would come but at a time like this. Well, there were worse options so I guess I can call this a fine moment. "Would you believe me if I said I didn't?"

"You are my sister. And you mean so much to me. You are one of my biggest reasons to be a hero. But ever since the USJ attack. No, ever since attending UA. I noticed some unusual behavior. Youta, Akari, and I talked about it before the tournament began. It's not a bad change but Akari sees that you are holding on to a lot of bad things. And it's not your quirk that's holding it in for you."

I go over and take a seat on a chair at a table not looking at Izuku. "It's gotten that obvious, huh." I take a deep breath, "I don't want to say this but if I don't then you will be too distracted to help Todoroki." Izuku doesn't say anything. "I'm not from this world… Or at least this isn't my body." I can hear him stagger, "Hard to believe right. I had fourteen whole years to process this so I know it's a lot and right before your fight no less."

"Another world...? Does that mean your quirk can take you to different worlds," Izuku asked. "Why are you saying that your body isn't yours? Have you been lying to me that you lost your memories? Have you been lying to all of us?" I can hear the disappointment, anger, and confusion in his voice.

"Lying," I exhaled, "That's what I'm wondering. Is it my quirk? Is it not my quirk? Is it something else? I chalk it up to this body itself. To tell you the truth. I never lied about my memories being lost. In fact, I still don't have many of my original memories. I'm still the same Akari you knew and grew up with but I'm a bit older than you might think. I also see a future. One that if everything goes according to plan, the world will be peaceful."

"What do you mean peaceful? Aren't we in a time of…" Izuku paused himself.

I give him a second to see if would continue but he doesn't. "That's right. You know as well as I do All Might doesn't have all the time in the world to be a hero. And just what do you think will happen once that happens." I look at Izuku and his face is filled with despair.

He looks at me then his face starts to brighten, "That won't happen! Because by then I will be the next symbol of peace... Knowing the future must have put a lot of stress on you. Something I would never know. But as your brother, I wish to share some of your burdens with you. Don't carry all of it on your own. You have Youta and Akari and all the teachers and classmates at UA."

I laugh as a teardrop goes down my face and I wipe it away. "Hahaha. I know that already. But like any good for nothing hero, we bear the weight of the world in their own right." I take in a breath, "Phew. That was a huge weight off my chest." Now all but one of my secrets is out, "Feel free to share what you heard here with anyone because I don't have the heart to do it again. But until you become number one. Know that I will know the many steps of the way there."

"Izuku Midoriya. Your match will begin shortly. Please proceed to the arena," said a voice through the speaker in the prep room.

"Well, it seems like your match is here. Make sure to help out Todoroki. He really needs that push."

"What if I choose not to help him?"

I get up and flick Izuku on the forehead, "You're funny. I know it's not within your character to not help some in need of saving." I put a fist pointing at Izuku and smiled, "So go be a hero."

Izuku walks to the door and before leaving he says, "You know so many people that want to be saved... I feel like my responsibility must be minuscule to yours. And because of your responsibility, it doesn't allow you to open up... But I swear one day. I will save you from all your worries…" Izuku and I look each other in the eye and he smiles, "But until then let's continue how we always have. As brother and sister." Izuku leaves and closes the door.

I sit back down and put my head on the table. "I wish he could become number one sooner. But something tells me that isn't going to happen soon." That went well but could have gone worse. My secret is out to the main character now. So how much will things divert now? I sigh as I contemplate whether or not I should continue fighting at all or why I even chose to become a hero.

I stayed there until Uraraka opened the door and she was surprised to see me there. "Akumi? You're here?"

I still have my head on the table, "Yeah. A little bit down in the dumps, but I'm here."

"Oh. I guess we both are," I hear a cheery voice from Uraraka.

"Sorry. I must be intruding. You have some phone calls to make right. I'll be going." I stand back up.

"How did you know? Actually, I think you already knew how the fight would end so I guess you'll know about something like this too." Uraraka looks sad.

"Yeah, I did…" I walk out the door and before the door closes I say, "I'm sorry for not telling you. You're going to need this round to get it all out." I leave the room.

Before the door closes Uraraka stops it and says, "Wait. There's something I want to say." I stop my movements and turn to face Uraraka, "I got over mine. Now it's going to be yours next."

Uraraka smiles and closes the door. I'm left stunned. It takes a moment for me to process what she was saying. Then something hits me. I'm an adult and I'm getting help from adolescents. I'm an adult and I'm relying on children to solve my problem. I'm an adult and I forgot that I was one. I'm an adult and I need to be a better role model for these kids.

I whispered to myself, "I'm an adult but right now I'm as clueless as a newborn." I take a deep breath in and out. Then I yell, "Well screw it! If they can do it I can too!" After all, if I'm going to continue being the main character's sister I need to start proving myself to be worthy. I've taken things for granted for too long but now with so many changes, it's time for me to change. I may not think I'm ready but it doesn't matter. I walk away and say, "I will go beyond! Plus Ultra!"
