S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters
Inside: Elevator
Steven/Captain Universe is fighting the STRIKE agents in the elevator, his cuffed hand still attached to the metal bar on the wall. He looks back, and Agent 1 goes to shock Steven with his electric rod, but Steven/Captain Universe grabs his wrist and pulls it towards Agent 6, who stands up to attack Steven.
Agent 6 gets shocked by the electric rod. Agent 1 goes to punch Steven/Captain Universe. Steven pushes Agent 6 back, giving Steven/Captain Universe the time to punch Agent 1 before Steven/Captain Universe jumps up, kicking Agent 6 with one foot and then Agent 1 with the other.
Agent 1 recovers quickly and goes to punch Steven/Captain Universe, who grabs his wrist, twists it, and snaps it away before kicking him.
Steven/Captain Universe jumps up to the window behind him, both feet firm on the glass. He grabs his hand and grunts as he uses all of his strength to pry the magnetic cuff off the metal bar.
Steven/Captain Universe pries the cuff off the bar and goes to fall back, but kicks off the window, back flipping down to his feet. Agent 4 and Rollins stand up behind Steven/Captain Universe, who elbows Agent Rollins in the face to his right, making the guy hunch forward. He looks at Agent 4 and ducks as he swings a punch.
Steven/Captain Universe swings his fist up and punches Agent 4 away, then grabs Rollins's arm and flips him up toward the metal wall hard. He falls on his head.
Jasper stands up, holding two electric rods out to Steven. She holds her fingers out to say, "Whoa, big guy." Steven/Captain Universe pants hard, glaring at Jasper, "I just want you to know, Cap, this ain't personal!" She shouts out as she goes to attack Steven/Captain Universe with her electric rod. Steven moves and raises his right arm to block her left arm, but Jasper shocks Steven with the other rod.
After a moment, Steven/Captain Universe pushes Jasper's arm, which he's blocking away, and goes to punch her. Jasper dodges and swings her left arm up, making Steven/Captain Universe block it again with his arm, giving Jasper a chance to shock him with the other rod. The two shout before Steven/Captain Universe punches Jasper with his right fist, which was blocking Jasper's arm a second ago.
Steven/Captain Universe quickly lifts Jasper and throws her up to the ceiling. She hits it hard, and Steven watches as Jasper drops to the floor, unconscious.
Steven/Captain Universe pants as he looks down at unconscious Jasper, "It kind of feels personal." Steven/Captain Universe looks at his shield on the floor and slams his foot down on the edge of the shield, making it flip up to Steven. Steven quickly slides his hand and forearm through the straps and uses them to break off the magnetic cuff on his wrist.
Steven/Captain Universe steps forward and taps the red button on the computer screen. The elevator doors open, and he is faced by a team of STRIKE agents pointing their weapons at him. Steven/Captain Universe tenses and steps back, ready to fight.
25th-floor STRIKE agent demands to Steven/Captain Universe, "Drop the shield and put your hands in the air!"
Steven/Captain Universe spins around and uses his shield to break the window and the elevator wires at the same time. Steven/Captain Universe kneels as the elevator drops down, and then the emergency brakes kick in and stop the elevator abruptly.
Steven/Captain Universe stands up and goes to the elevator doors. He forces the top doors open with his hands, only to see more STRIKE agents approaching him. Steven/Captain Universe grunts as he closes the door. He grabs the railing and looks out the window to see a glass window roof near the lobby, looking for a way out.
A STRIKE agent's voice shouts to Steven, "Give it up, Steven! Get that door open!" Steven/Captain Universe turns around, breathing in and out calmly as he adjusts the straps on his shield tighter on his arm, "You have nowhere to go!"
Steven/Captain Universe turns around and jumps, breaking through the glass in the elevator with his shield.
Outside
Steven/Captain Universe free-falls out the window before curling into a ball on his shield. He braces himself as he smashes through the glass-window roof.
Inside: SHIELD Headquarters Lobby
Steven/Captain Universe plummets down through the glass window roof. A woman screams as Steven falls and finally hits the ground floor, hard.
Many people duck for cover from the glass and a couple of metal bars. Steven/Captain Universe groans in pain from the hard landing and slowly pushes himself up.
Monitor Controls Room
Gunnar watches the monitor in shock as Steven/Captain Universe gets up and starts running off. Gunnar asks himself, "Are you kidding me?" He orders the STRIKE team with the small wire radio in his hand, "He's headed for the garage. Lock down the bridge."
Hallway
An alarm goes off as Mabel walks down an empty hallway. She notices the disturbance while looking around. She holds her watch up, asking JARVIS, "Talk to me, J. What's happening?"
JARVIS's voice informs Mabel, "A squadron of SHIELD agents just attacked Captain Universe."
Mabel is confused, "Wha-" She gets interrupted by a couple of SHIELD agents running towards her.
SHIELD Agent 1 says to Agent 2, "There she is." He calls out, "Ms. Pines!"
Mabel drops her hands and turns around to face the SHIELD agents, "Yes?"
Agent 2 tells Mabel as they stop in front of her, "You need to come with us now."
Mabel is suspicious but asks them in a normal tone, "In regards of?"
Agent 1 tells Mabel, "Captain Universe has gone rogue. We need to take you to safety." Behind her leg, Mabel presses her left thumb down on the screen of her watch. It scans her thumbprint.
Storage Facility
Mabel's Iron Woman suit stands undisturbed in the storage facility, with many other items. The suit suddenly lights up and turns on.
Hallway
Mabel says nothing, but looks at the agents suspiciously. Agent 2 insists, "Please, ma'am. We got to get you to safety."
Mabel goes to say something, but hears Gunnar's voice on Agent 1's radio, "She's getting suspicious. Take her down, now!" The agent looks at her, alarmed, really hoping she won't be difficult.
Unfazed by their expressions or Gunnar's order, Mabel shakes her head, "I don't think so." The agents go for their guns on their hips, and Mabel holds her right arm behind her. Suddenly, her Iron Woman suit arm attaches to her. She swings her arm towards the agents and blasts Agent 2 back. Agent 1 aims his gun at her.
Mabel quickly steps forward, pushes Agent 1's arms away from her with her left forearm, and punches Agent 1 hard in the face with her metal Iron Woman suit hand, knocking him down as more of her suit attaches to her, and many agents surround her while aiming their guns. Mabel glares at all the agents. The last piece attaches, which is her facial slit.
After a moment, all the agents shoot at Mabel/Iron Woman, and she quickly activates her thrusters and flies around, knocking a few agents down as she flies down the hallway.
Outside: Bridge
The thick emergency doors start to close, but Steven/Captain Universe rides out of the SHIELD garage on his motorcycle just before the doors close. Steven/Captain Universe, with his helmet on, rides fast across the bridge and sees the fence closing, and spikes are lifted up to stop him.
Suddenly, a Quinjet emerges and flies ahead of him, turning towards Steven/Captain Universe and hovering above the bridge. The Quinjet pilot on PA orders Steven, "Stand down, Captain Universe. Stand down." The Quinjet lowers its machine gun, the pilot saying, "Repeat, stand down." Steven/Captain Universe makes a quick decision and rides faster, making the Quinjet start shooting at him.
Steven/Captain Universe moves and twists to the side, avoiding the shots. Then he grabs his shield on his back and throws it at the Quinjet. The shield jams into the propellers, damaging them, and the Quinjet lowers down.
Steven/Captain Universe rides faster towards the jet. He presses the brakes, making it skid forward and allowing him to jump up. He presses his hands on the windshield, flips up onto the roof, and somersaults towards the damaged propeller. He grabs his shield and takes it out, making the jet go ballistic and spin uncontrollably.
Steven/Captain Universe gets pushed off, but he flips forward and jams his shield in the corner of the wing. He struggles to hold on before he pushes up and takes his shield out, flipping onto the roof of the jet and landing on his feet.
Steven/Captain Universe quickly throws his shield towards the flight engine thrusters. It bounces off both of them, damaging them as well. Steven runs forward and grabs his shield while the smoking Quinjet spins down. Steven/Captain Universe flips in mid-air, landing a superhero landing with his shield on the ground.
The Quinjet spins and crashes on the bridge. Steven/Captain Universe glares, satisfied, and goes to run but sees another Quinjet circle around. Steven/Captain Universe sighs, annoyed, and suddenly, Mabel, in her Iron Woman suit, flies out a glass window, breaking it.
Mabel/Iron Woman uses both her hands and blasts the second Quinjet flight engine thrusters before curling into a ball, then swings her feet down and jams the right propeller.
The Quinjet smokes and spins out of control. Mabel/Iron Woman flies up and sees the jet heading towards Steven/Captain Universe. She flies closer and pushes the jet away from Steven/Captain Universe with her hands. It crashes beside the first Quinjet.
Mabel/Iron Woman turns to Steven/Captain Universe, who nods gratefully. He runs with Mabel/Iron Woman flying behind him, going out of sight.
Monitor Controls Room
After Mabel and Steven escape, Gunnar gathers the SHIELD agents around the room, grabbing their attention, "Eyes here." Everyone, including Agent 13/Kate, looks at Gunnar, "Whatever your op is, bury it. This is Level One. Contact DOT. All traffic lights in the district go red. Shut all runways at BWI, IAD, and Reagan." Agent 13/Kate looks at Gunnar suspiciously, "All security cameras in the city got through this monitor, right here." With his right thumb, he points to the big wall monitor screen behind him, "Scan all open sources, phones, computers, PDAs. Whatever." Two photos of Mabel and Steven on the monitor screen pop up, "If someone tweets about these two, I want to know about it."
Agent 13/Kate speaks up, fed up with not knowing why Steven and Mabel are being targeted, "With all due respect, if SHIELD is conducting a manhunt for Captain Universe and Iron Woman, we deserve to know why." Many agents nod their heads in agreement.
Nathan's voice answers Agent 13/Kate, "Because they lied to us." Everyone looks as Nathan enters the room. He continues, "Captain Universe and Mabel Pines has information regarding the death of Rick Sanchez. They refused to share it." He stops walking in the middle of the crowd, "As difficult as this is to accept,-" He looks at Steven's and Mabel's pictures on the monitor before looking back to the people in the room, "-Captain Universe and Iron Woman is a fugitive from SHIELD."
