Chapter 28.
Welcome to hell.
(The events of this arc take place after the assault on the QHC but before the encounter between All Might and Yamikumo)
Darkness, that's all Yamikumo could see, not long ago he was patrolling the alleys of the city when suddenly something forces him to fall to the ground and pass out, a tranquilizing dart or a quirk to knock him out, either is a good choice.
Suddenly a light illuminates his face, his eyes took a while to get used to the direct light on his face.
- "Well, just look who decided to visit us..."- A male voice said, when Yamikumo got used to the light he could see the origin of the voice, a guy of a certain advanced age, his hair was already gray and his face shows that his best days are past. – "Nobody but Headhunter himself."-
Yamikumo stares at the person in front of him. – "Who the hell are you? What do you want of me?"- He said.
The guy shakes his finger. - "No, no, no, you're not the one asking the questions here."- Suddenly the guy punches Yamikumo in the stomach, knocking some air out of him. – "I am the one who asks, and you will answer."-
Yamikumo just looks at the guy angrily.
- "We know what you did, you and your little group of friends have cost us a fortune."- The guy said.
- "What the f*ck are you talking about?"- Yamikumo asked.
- "The QHC, the government said that it was a group of heroes who decided to remain anonymous who discovered and stopped our production center of the trigger, but we know that it was not like that."- The guy said. – "We know who they were and that you are one of them, however we have not been able to track down the rest of those involved, that is why you will tell us where they are."-
Yamikumo spits in the guy's face. - "You're wasting time, since we collaborated, I haven't seen them again, so I don't know where they are."- He said. – "Well, more or less, you can find Stain in Hosu, good luck with him."-
The guy laughs before wiping his face. – "We are not stupid, trying to capture Stain would be suicide, at least for now."- He said before hitting Yamikumo again. – "Or at least until you help us do it."-
Yamikumo catches his breath and then looks at the guy with hate again. - "And who says I'm going to help you?"-
- "You don't understand, you will, whether you want to or not."- The guy said to then snap his fingers, all the lights come on, Yamikumo is handcuffed and inside a cell, the cell has no bars, it is a concrete room, with only one door to enter and exit, the door only opens with the correct access card. – "Welcome, Headhunter, to what our prisoners call hell."-
- "So you put me in jail, that doesn't explain anything."- Yamikumo said.
- "Oh no, this isn't exactly a prison, we don't exactly capture villains, we lock up here those who are or may become a threat to our business."- The guy said. – "I am the president of all the businesses that we carry out, and you and your group have just ruined one of them, the production of the drug trigger."-
- "Business, plural, so you have more business."- Yamikumo said.
- "Yes, and you in particular have been a very big stone in our shoes." – The president said. – "Not only the QHC, but you also got one of our biggest buyers jailed, remember Ibiki Morino?"-
Yamikumo widens his eyes, of course he remembers Morino, the guy who somehow got information from Endeavor that Dabi forced him to steal. – "That guy... what does he have to do with the trigger?"-
- "He did not buy the trigger, he bought another type of service, or did you not confront them?"- The president asked. – "Titan? The Akaze brothers?"-
Hearing that, Yamikumo widened her eyes in surprise.
- "I see that now you understand, in addition to imprisoning those who cause us problems, these facilities also have the purpose of creating docile and obedient slaves for sale to the highest bidder, and the same will happen to you when we have obtained what we want from you."- The president said. – "Before we used other test subjects, children are easier to indoctrinate than adults or teenagers, unfortunately you also had to get rid of our main providers."-
- "Me? What did I do?"- Yamikumo asked.
- "You seriously don't remember? If that same thing was going to happen to you and your late brother."- The president said. – "Does the last name Riverdale sound familiar to you?"-
A light bulb goes on above Yamikumo. – "Those two... did the Riverdales used work for you?"- He asked angrily.
- "Riverdale, Anderson, Perez, Suzuki, name the last name and they would have had it."- The president said. – "Those two have been some of our best agents in providing us with children, their pay was good, and we took care of the legal and change of identity matters."-
- "You were... you were the culprits of my brother's death then!"- Yamikumo said furiously, trying to summon his fire, but it wouldn't come out.
- "Trying to use your fire? We've researched you well, we know you have a fire quirk, so we made sure you can't use it."- The president said pointing to what appear to be discs attached to Yamikumo's body. – "They are temperature regulators; they keep you at a temperature in which your fire cannot be generated. We can't nullify your quirk, but we can disable you from using it."-
- "Someone will find out!"- Yamikumo said.
- "I don't think so, first our facility is underground, second, we have technology and some of our employees have quirks that avoid frequency detection, underground scans, blah, blah, blah, no one is going to find you..."- The president said.
Before Yamikumo could speak, a guy dressed in a riot suit arrived. - "Mr. President, we have detected two of our targets for capture."-
- "Who did you find?"- The president asked.
- "Code names, bloodsucker and blue fire."- The guy said.
- "Perfect."- The president said before turning to see Yamikumo. – "It seems that our chat time is over, I have important matters to attend to, but don't worry, this won't be the last time we see each other, we have plenty of time for you to talk."-
After this, the president leaves Yamikumo's cell and the other guy locks the cell with an access card which he keeps in his back pocket.
Yamikumo is left alone, silence fills the room. – "So this is it..."- Yamikumo tries to light his fire, but it is useless. – "These damn things... if it weren't for these things, I could use my fire..."- In that something resonates in Yamikumo's mind. – "My fire... that guy said they managed to disable my fire... but he didn't say anything about my telekinesis."-
Yamikumo looks at the ground, a small rock is on the ground, concentrating, Yamikumo tries to use his taelkeuinesis and... it works, the rock moves, Yamikumo smiles. – "Looks like you didn't do enough research..."- Yamikumo thought. – "But now... how do I get out of here?"- Yamikumo looks around, there is nothing to escape. – "The only way out is the door... I can't force it with my telekinesis, but I could steal an access card with it... but first I need to take off these handcuffs."- Using her telekinesis, Yamikumo focuses on the small keyhole on the handcuffs, trying to force them open. – "This is going to take a long time..."-

Five days later.
Five days have passed and Yamikumo continues with his work of forcing the opening of the handcuffs, in these five days Yamikumo has been visited by the president and interrogated, by force, but he has not released any information, the last time the President tried to Yamikumo headbutted him on the nose, since that day there is a security guard watching his cell 24 hours a day, there is only a small window of time in which he is left alone, when the guard changes with another.
After all this time Yamikumo continues with his usual task, force open his handcuffs, Yamikumo continues with his eyes closed, concentration to the maximum when suddenly...

The sound that he has been waiting for, he has finally managed to open the handcuffs, first part done, now the second part, open the cell, and the guard in front of him is the solution.
Without alerting the guard, Yamikumo gets up and walks to the door, using his telekinesis Yamikumo takes the key card out of his pocket, and slowly holds it over the electric lock and with a sound the door opens.
The guard turns around at the sound of the door opening and is met by a punch directly to his face, causing his helmet to fall off.
- "What the…"- The guard said to later realize what was happening. – "How did you escape?!"- The guard points his gun at Yamikumo.
Using his telekinesis, Yamikumo causes the gun to jam, grabbing the guard by the face, smashing him against the wall.
Yamikumo lets go of the guard and he falls to the ground, leaving a trail of blood on the wall from the blow.
Yamikumo looks at the guard for a few seconds, however there is no time to think, since just at that moment another guard arrives. – "Hey, it's time for the change of..."- The guard stops seeing the scene. – "What the f*ck?!"- without wasting time the guard starts shooting at Yamikumo who quickly takes the body of the other guard to cover himself.
- "What a hassle..." - Yamikumo thought as he took the weapon from the guard he defeated.
The other guard stops shooting for a moment to start communicating with his walkie talkie. – "We have a problem in the prisoner sub-level! There is a leak! Send reinforce…"- Suddenly the walkie talkie is destroyed by a bullet, courtesy of Yamikumo who pounces on him, managing to knee him in the chin.
The guard falls to the ground and Yamikumo takes the opportunity to choke him with his arms, for a few seconds they both struggle, but after a while the guard stops struggling, falling to the ground.
As Yamikumo tries to relax, two other guards arrive at the scene. - "Hey you! Stop rig..."- The guards don't finish talking as Yamikumo uses his telekinesis to smash them against the ceiling, leaving them there, then takes advantage of this and shoots each one twice, then drops them to the ground.
Yamikumo sighs, he has a moment to rest, taking advantage of this, Yamikumo begins to remove the discs that prevent him from using his fire, while doing this someone speaks to him.
- "Not bad... you have talent."- A female voice said.
Yamikumo turns to look and can see that inside one of the cells there is a woman with purple hair wearing the same outfit as him, orange prisoner clothes, the only difference is that she has a device which keeps her right arm extended. – "They got you too..."- He said. – "And what did you do to piss them of?"-
- "Killed some of their important agents."- The woman said. – "What about you?"-
- "End several of their businesses."- Yamikumo said.
- "Interesting..."- The woman said.
- "Are you a villain?"- Yamikumo asked.
- "Not exactly, I killed those people on government orders."- The woman said.
- "Government? Are you a hero?"- Yamikumo asked.
- "I used to be."- The women said. – "How did you escape?"-
- "My quirk is divided into two, fire and telekinesis, they only knew about my fire."- Yamikumo said.
- "Interesting, I assume you plan to escape."- The woman said.
- "That's right, I have things to do and being stuck here is not one of those."- Yamikumo said.
- "Then you will need help, we are several meters underground and there are many guards, you will not be able to do it alone."- The woman said. – "Get me out of here and I promise to help you."-
- "How do I know that I can trust you?"- Yamikumo asked.
- "I don't think you have many options; I have my own plan to escape if you don't help me, but it would be easier to do it together."- The woman said.
After thinking about it for a few seconds, Yamikumo takes the access card and opens the woman's cell. – "You better not betray me."- Yamikumo said.
The woman leaves her cell. – "It's not convenient for me to do it."- She said to then look at her arm with annoyance.
Yamikumo takes the device and using his fire begins to heat it and then breaks it, freeing the woman's arm.
- "Thanks."- The woman said, but suddenly she sees how three guards approach behind Yamikumo, she quickly pushes Yamikumo away and flexes her arm, a rifle comes out of her elbow and, using her hair as bullets, she shoots the three guards. – "Do you trust me now?"-
- "For now."- Yamikumo said while getting up from the ground. – "So, what's your name?"-
- "It is disrespectful to ask a lady her name without telling her yours first."- The woman said.
- "Headhunter."- Yamikumo said.
- "So using code names... very good, Hunter." - The woman said before extending her arm towards Yamikumo. – "Lady Nagant."-
Name: ? ? ? aka Lady Nagant.
Quirk: Rifle.
Lady Nagant's Quirk allows her to extend a rifle from her right elbow. She loads bullets into the rifle through a hole in her right hand. Her firing range is 3 kilometers.
Yamikumo stares at Lady Nagant before shaking her hand. – "All right, we'll work together to get out of this place."-
- "You have made the right decision."- Lady Nagant said.
- "Let's go."- Yamikumo said to start walking, Lady Nagant following him.
They both may not know exactly where they are, but one thing is for sure, they are going to get out of here no matter what it costs them.

Another chapter finished and yeah.
We start with this new arc, this time we explore a little more of Yamikumo's past.
As I mentioned at the beginning, this arc is set after the events of the QHC but before Yamikumo meets All Might for the first time.
Well, nothing, we finally discovered another of the main villains of this story, the president of all these shady businesses that we saw at the beginning of this story, before Yami entered the UA.
As you can see, he is practically involved in all the events that happened before Yami entered the UA.
We finally know how Yamikumo met Lady Nagant and, if you paid attention, you'll also know who else Yamikumo will meet again.
After this arc, there will be only one more arc to discover all of Yamikumo's past, but that arc will be revealed later.
