Chapter 30.
Battle in Hell.
- "Why are we here?"- One guard asked another.
In Sublevel five there are several guards guarding the elevator that goes up to Sublevel four.
- "These are orders from the president, we have to hold out long enough while the silver guard prepares."- The other guard answered.
- "Wait, hold them, we can catch them right?"-
- "They think we are cannon fodder."-
- "Well sh*t…"-
At that moment a bullet goes through the head of one of the guards, courtesy of Lady Nagant.
- "They're here!"- A guard said when he saw the four fugitives approaching them.
- "I got them!"- A guard points at them but Yamikumo quickly finishes it off by making a double slash to his chest in an X shape.
Two other guards try to shoot Yamikumo but are quickly burned by Dabi.
Finally, the last guard is easily killed by Toga, who falls from the ceiling and stabs him in the neck with a syringe.
- "Alright, here we are."- Yamikumo said.
- "There are only four sublevels left."- Lady Nagant said.
- "Let's keep our eyes open, we haven't come across that silver guard yet."- Yamikumo said.
- "Who cares?!"- Dabi said. – "We're going to blow up the place, right?"-
- "Yes, but that doesn't mean we can be careless."- Yamikumo said. – "I'm just saying to be aware if we come across them."-
Without saying more, the four get on the elevator and start going up to the next sublevel.

Sublevel 1.
Security Room.
Hiro looks at the cameras, he has already identified the four who are trying to escape, behind him, sitting in another chair is the leader of the silver guard, unlike Hiro, he is calm. – "Damn, those four are already going up to sublevel 4!"-
The leader of the silver guard is a tall, muscular man with wavy, shoulder-length hair and a small beard that only covers his chin.
The leader wears an elegant white suit, blue tie and a black shirt under the suit, in addition to a white coat that only wears it above the shoulders, the coat has a silver ornament on both shoulder pads, the left ornament shows that he is part of the silver guards while the right ornament shows that he is the leader.
- "Don't worry, Chairman Hiro."- The leader said. – "My colleagues are already in position, if I'm not mistaken, you're about to meet Bouncy." –
Hiro glares at the leader of the silver guards and then goes back to the cameras. – "I hope you guys are worth it..."- He said.

Sublevel 4.
The four fugitives arrive at sublevel four, the place is different from the previous ones, there are fewer corridors, and the place is more open.
The four set out in search of the elevator, however there is something strange, they don't come across any guard.
- "Hmm suspicious... normally we would already come across some guards."- Lady Nagant said.
- "We've probably killed them all already..."- Dabi said.
- "That... or something is waiting for us when we get to the elevator."- Yamikumo said.
The four continue on their way and finally reach the elevator. – "Weird…"- Yamikumo said.
- "Be positive at least once in your life, it is obvious that they are all dead."- Dabi said.
- "I would think that twice sir."- A voice suddenly said.
Everyone turns to see the direction of the voice and is surprised to see a man in the corner of the roof.
Said person is a noticeably overweight man with short pale green hair.
The man has the same clothing as his leader, the only difference is that in his coat he only has the silver ornament on his left shoulder pad.
- "You were waiting for us..."- Yamikumo said.
- "That's right, I'm Bouncy, a member of the silver guards and this is as far as you will go."- Bouncy said.
- "I don't think so!"- Dabi said while launching a fireball at Bouncy, however it bounces off the wall and dodges the attack. – "He's fast…"-
- "Relax, friend... don't think you'll defeat me so easily... I'm not a silver guard for nothing."- Bouncy said. – "With that being said... let's get started with this..."- After this, Bouncy begins to bounce off all the walls at high speed, thanks to this he manages to hit everyone with his body while continuing to bounce.

Quirk: Rubber body.
Bouncy's body has properties similar to those of rubber, thanks to this it is able to bounce off various places as well as withstand high-powered impacts without taking damage.
- "Now I see why this area is wider than the previous ones, it allows more mobility for this guy."- Yamikumo said.
Suddenly Bouncy stops dead to avoid being hit by Dabi's flare. – "You can stop at will... good to know."- Dabi attacks again with another flame of fire bigger than the previous one, forcing Bouncy to jump back. – "You three... go up to the next sublevel, I'll take care of this guy."-
- "Did you burn your brain? Wouldn't it be easier for the three of us to face this guy?"- Toga asked.
- "That only he has waited for us in this sublevel... that means that there will be one of these guys in each sublevel, we would only get more tired if we all fight together, it will be better for each of us to face one."- Dabi said while firing a fire ball.
- "It makes sense... they want to tire us out, but... are you sure about this?"- Yamikumo asked.
Dabi gets hit by Bouncy. - "Just leave before I change my mind!"- He said.
- "Okay, let's go!"- Yamikumo said and quickly Lady Nagant, Toga and he get on the elevator.
- "Damn it... what trouble am I getting myself into..."- Dabi thought.

Sublevel 3.
Yamikumo, Lady Nagant and Toga arrive at sublevel three, in this sublevel there are several plantations and small trees. – "It seems that this place is a greenhouse, the artificial light here is similar to that of the sun, they probably get their food from here."- Yamikumo said.
- "There's someone there, look..."- Toga points and indeed there is a guy in the middle of the place, but he is asleep. - "He is asleep... let's take advantage and kill him."- Toga approaches the guy and prepares to stab him, but suddenly the guy kicks her flying, luckily Yamikumo manages to catch Toga.
- "Oh, you're here... you took so long that I fell asleep..."- The guy said.
Said man has big round eyes and shaved blond hair.
He has the same outfit as Bouncy and the leader, and like Bouncy he only has the silver ornament on his left shoulder pad.
- "Now there are only three... what happened to your partner?"- The man asked.
- "He stayed behind facing your partner and apparently he was right."- Yamikumo said. – "On each floor there is one of you waiting, right?"-
- "Maybe yes, maybe not..."- The man said. – "But it doesn't matter... let's get started!"-
The man charges at Yamikumo but a bullet forces him to stop and dodge.
- "I'll take care of him!"- Lady Nagant said. – "See you in sublevel one!"-
The guy quickly charges at Lady Nagant and they both collide with punches, while Toga and Yamikumo continue and take the elevator to the next sublevel.
- "Now it's you and me... very good this will be fun!"- The man said as he punched Lady Nagant's face, who recoiled from the blow.
Lady Nagant quickly recovers and wipes the blood from her lips with a smile. – "Yes... this will be fun... it's been a long time since I could afford to bring out all my skills..."-

Sublevel 2.
Toga and Yamikumo arrive at Sublevel two, this place is somewhat narrower than the other two, although not as much as sublevel six and five, in addition to having several rooms.
Yamikumo and Toga enter one of the rooms and it's... some showers!
- "Showers… this must be where the guards rest..."- Yamikumo said.
- "Hey! Weren't you taught to knock before entering a bathroom?!"- A female voice said.
Toga and Yamikumo look in the direction of the voice and see a woman.
The woman is of a slim and tall build, has long blonde hair that reaches down to her back and also wears glasses.
Unlike the rest she does not wear a suit, she wears an elegant white dress with a low neckline, the dress covers just above the knees, she also wears white heeled boots that reach above the knee.
Like the leader and her colleagues, she also has a coat worn only over her shoulders and unlike the leader she only has the silver ornament on her left shoulder pad.
- "One more..."- Yamikumo said.
- "It seems that it's my turn..."- Toga said. – "Hunter-kun, you continue... I'll have fun with this one here!"-
Toga takes two swords and attacks the woman, who blocks the slashes with her forearms and to Toga's surprise her swords hit something hard.
Apparently the woman's arms were covered in some kind of shell similar to that of an armadillo. - "You are an expert in sharp weapons... apparently you had bad luck choosing an opponent!"- The woman said. – "But it's late, Dasy will take care of you!"-

Quirk: Armadillo.
Dasy's Quirk allows her to cover any part of her body in an armadillo-like shell.
Without thinking Toga attacks several times with several salshes with her swords, but Dasy protects herself from all the attacks. - "You're right, it's hard to make you bleed... but that's the fun part!"-
Toga attacks Dasy again, but she easily dodges the slashes and then strikes at her with her shell-covered forearm.
Toga gets up easily after the attack, a trickle of blood falls from her forehead, but she doesn't flinch. – "Yes… I'm going to enjoy drinking your blood when I manage to make you bleed."- She said with a smile.

Yamikumo gets out of the elevator, finally he is in sublevel one and to his surprise, in the security room there is someone waiting for him, the leader of the silver guard is sitting in a chair.
- "So you're the one left..."- The leader said.
- "Your plan failed; I am here."- Yamikumo said.
- "On the contrary, I say it was successful." – The leader said while getting up from the chair. – "After all, the plan was to separate you."-
- "What?"- Yamikumo said.
- "Yes, the plan was to split you guys up in one-on-one fights." – The leader said. – "And you fell right into our trap!"- The leader quickly boosts himself by jumping between all the walls and then charges at Yamikumo.
Yamikumo ducks to dodge a kick from the leader and then jumps to dodge another, when the kick hits the ground it pierces a crater, but the leader takes advantage of this to jump on and deal a direct kick to Yamikumo's face.
Receiving the kick, Yamikumo goes flying and crashes into the table in the security room.
- "My people and I specialize in one-on-one fights... you don't stand a chance against us."- The leader said.
Yamikumo gets up. – "Is that so…"- He said. – "Well... that remains to be seen."-

Sublevel 3.
Lady Nagant blocks a kick with her knee from the guy she's facing, then counterattacks with a kick, but the guy dodges it and manages to kick her in the stomach.
Still, Lady Nagant doesn't back down and tries to punch him, but the guy jumps and dodges, then stands on one arm and kicks Nagant, but she jumps and then tries to stomp on his face, but the guy just shakes his head and dodges the stomp.
- "This is fun…"- The guy said and quickly jumps with his arm, spins in the air quickly and kicks Lady Nagant's face, making her fall to the ground.
- "Let's see how much fun you find this!"- Nagant said and quickly shoots at the guy, but he easily dodges the bullet and grabs Lady Nagant by the neck.
- "That won't be enough to beat me."- The guy said.
- "So how about this?!"- Lady Nagant said as she elbowed him straight into the guy's chest, making him step back. – "The fight is just beginning!"-

Sublevel 4.
Dabi fires a burst of fire at Bouncy, but he just jumps and dodges, hanging from the ceiling. – "Stop dodging!"- Dabi shoots a burst of fire again, but Bouncy dodges it again.
- "Alright, I'll stop dodging."- Suddenly, Dabi is hit on the right cheek with a punch by Bouncy, then receives a flurry of punches before flying off and crashing into the wall. – "What did you think of that?"-
- "Not bad…"- Dabi suddenly appears in front of the guy. – "But my father hit me harder!"- Dabi hits Bouncy with a blast of fire, sending him flying and crashing into the wall on the other side.
However Bouncy suddenly bounces off and heads towards Dabi. – "Thanks for the push!"- Bouncy said.
However, Bouncy's smile disappears when he sees Dabi smile and surround his fist with fire. – "Don't think I did it for you... I knew this would happen!"- When Bouncy was close, Dabi hits him with a powerful blue fire punch, smashing him into the ground and creating a crater. – "Flaming Blue Hammer!"-
However, this does not end here, as Bouncy gets up from the ground with some burns. – "I'm not beaten yet! I'm part of the Silver Guard!"- Bauncy begins to turn and suddenly hits Dabi in the stomach, this time the blow was powerful thanks to the accumulated inertia.
- "Damn this is bad... This blow did hurt me this time..."-

Sublevel 2.
Toga throws one of the scalpels at Dasy, but she easily repels it with her arms, Toga takes advantage of this and attacks her legs, but Dasy notices and covers them with the shell.
The impact causes one of the swords to break. – "It's not that easy, is it?"- Dasy said at the time of attacking Toga with a shell-covered punch, Toga uses the sword to cover herself from the blow.
Taking advantage of this, Toga takes another of the swords and attacks Dasy's neck, but she covers her neck with a shell.
- "It's impossible, my reaction time is faster than your attacks, stop trying!"- Dasy said, but Toga doesn't give up and continues to attack, Dasy protects herself again with her shell, only each time she has to cover more parts of her body.
- "Stop? Why? If I'm having so much fun!"- Toga said and at that moment manages to take Dasy off guard and stick a scalpel in her leg. – "You see?! I made you bleed!"-
- "You… You dare!"- Dasy said and at that moment she kicks Toga, shell and all, in the stomach, making her leave the showers through the door by sending her flying. – "That was just luck!"-
- "I see... so that's how it works..." – Toga thought while standing up. – "Come on... show me more of your blood!"-

Sublevel 4.
Dabi gets up from the ground after receiving another attack from Bouncy. – "This looks bad..."- Dabi spins around to dodge another punch from Bouncy, surrounding his fist with fire Dabi tries to hit Bouncy but Bouncy dodges and double punches him in the back causing him to crash to the ground.
- "With those slow attacks you won't defeat me!"- However Dabi takes Bouncy by his foot.
- "Haha… Come on, let's go for a ride!"- Using his fire Dabi rises into the air and begins to spin, with everything and Bouncy taken by the foot.
After several laps, Dabi smashes Bouncy to the ground, but he bounces. – "How many times will you try, you won't beat me with brute force!"- Bouncy said.
- "I know…"- Dabi said, taking advantage of Bouncy's body to push himself up and Bouncy bounced back to the ground. – "I'm just using you as a boost!"- Dabi puts his hands together and generates a large amount of fire, waiting for Bouncy to arrive in front of him.
- "W-Wait!"- Bouncy said, but it was too late, Dabi has it right where he wants it.
- "You don't have so much fun anymore, do you?"- Dabi said. – "Blue blaster!"- Releasing a gigantic blast of fire, Dabi manages to hit Bouncy causing it to hit the ground and, for the first time, not bounce.
Dabi lands and looks at Bouncy, apparently not moving. – "Damn human ball..."- Dabi turns around and heads towards the elevator to go up.

- "You don't fight badly, woman."- The guy Lady Nagant is up against said. – "But you need technique!"- The guy dodges another shot from Nagant and then hits her, making her go through one of the greenhouse windows.
- "Bastard…"- Lady Nagant does not finish speaking as the guy hits her with a knee directly to the face.
- "Ranged fighting is your forte, right?"- The guy said. – "So I won't walk away from you!"- Again the guy hits Nagant, but this time with a metal tube he picked up from the greenhouse.
Lady Nagant picks herself up from the ground, a few injuries to her body, but still able to continue fighting. – "You're right... I'm better as a ranged fighter..."- Suddenly Lady Nagant appears in front of the guy. – "But that doesn't mean he can't fight in close combat!"-
Suddenly Lady Nagant manages to hit the guy directly in the face, even so the guy tries to counterattack but Lady Nagant blocks all his blows quite easily. – "I've managed to understand your fighting style, that's why I let myself hit multiple times for you!"- Lady Nagant manages to hit the guy again but this time with a kick to the back of the head.
- "You were studying me..."- The guy tries to attack her from behind, but Lady Nagant turns around and blocks the attack.
- "Yes... and I managed to decipher you!"- Lady Nagant kicks the guy hard, knocking him down and finally finishes him off with a punch to the face, creating a crater on impact. – "I can't be a former hero without having skills!"-

Toga's battle against Dasy has been switched and they are now fighting in the rest room, Toga continues to attack Dasy with the swords, but Dasy continues to successfully cover herself with her quirk from the cuts.
Dasy dodges a slash and manages to connect a punch to Toga's stomach, who crashes into one of the bunk beds in the room. - "Why do you keep trying?!"- Dasy asked. – "You've only managed to get hurt by luck, don't think it's because of your skills."-
Dasy goes to where Toga crashed, but to her surprise the girl is not there. – "Where is she?!"-
Suddenly Toga appears behind her and stabs her in the left side of her body, through the ribs. – "You have very beautiful blood... you have to show it more!"- Taking advantage of the advantage she gained, Toga grabs Dasy from behind and smashes her head into the metal of the bunk beds.
Dasy takes the hit completely to the face, due to the restrictions of her quirk, the only part that cannot be shelled is her face. - "You b*tch!"- Dasy gets up again and tries to hit Toga, but she dodges the blow and traps her head between her legs and using her weight throws her against the wall.
Dasy gets up again and tries to attack Toga who ducks to avoid the attack and takes advantage of this to stick a scalpel into both Dasy's legs, making her fall to the ground and then finish off with a kick directly to the face.
Dasy crashes into the wall and falls to the floor, apparently unconscious.
- "Just one more thing and we're done with this..."- Toga picks up a scalpel from the floor and approaches Dasy with the intention of finishing the job.

Yamikumo again dodges a kick from the leader and then knocks him down by sweeping his other foot, however the leader recovers easily and starts jumping all over the room. – "What's going on? I don't understand..."- Yamikumo thought at the moment to dodge a stomp from the leader, at that moment he realizes that the leader's legs are similar to those of a kangaroo.
- "I see you noticed... that's right, that's my quirk... I'm Animalia, the leader of the silver guard!"- The leader, now identified as Animalia, said.

Quirk: Animal Kingdom.
Animalia can turn any part of its body into a version of the body of any mammalian animal, he also acquires the abilities of said animals.
- "What a hassle..."- Yamikumo charges at Animalia and attacks him with a fire fist, however Animalia turns his torso and arms into those of a gorilla and also attacks Yamikumo with a punch, both collide with punches.
Both exchange blows for a few seconds and then distance themselves.
- "Not bad kid... I admit I underestimated you for just being a kid... but not anymore!"- Animalia said.
- "You're not doing bad either, old man."- Yamikumo said. – "But you know something... I was holding back too!"-
Yamikumo expels fire from his body and charges at Animalia, managing to punch him in the stomach.
Animalia quickly recovers and hits Yamikumo in the chest with her gorilla fist, however Yamikumo takes advantage of this and grabs onto Animalia's arm and delivers a fiery kick straight to his face.
- "According to Fuudo-san, the entrance to the reactor is behind a false wall in the security room..."- Yamikumo looks at the security room, just at that moment Animalia appears behind him and tries to attack him, but Yamikumo jumps and dodges Animalia, due to the momentum Animalia crashes into the wall, breaking it a bit and indicating to Yamikumo where the reactor is.
- "Thanks for telling me where the target is!"- Yamikumo said as he charged towards Animalia, without thinking about it, Yamikumo absorbed the fire that surrounded him into his body, in which his skin began to turn reddish, and an aura of fire surrounded him. – "Red Fire Roar!"- Yamikumo punches Animalia square in the chest, causing some burns and destroying the false wall.
Animalia falls to the ground, while the aura that surrounded Yamikumo disappears, as well as his skin returns to its normal tone. – "What was that?"- He asked himself. – "I'll think about that later, what's left is to wait for the others and then destroy this damn place."-
However, he doesn't notice that behind him, Animalia stands up again. – "Not bad kid…"- He said. – "But don't think that the silver guard will be defeated so easily."-

We continue where we left off, this time the chapter is more loaded with action, as promised, but this is not over yet, don't think that the silver guard is defeated.
I hope the fights have been to your liking, I'm not that good, but I think I've improved compared to how I started.
And yes, officially here the Fire Soul makes its first chronological appearance, although this time it was unintentionally by Yamikumo, this is where Yamikumo got the idea to develop this power that he obtained.
Since this arc chronologically takes place well before USJ, it's obvious that Yami can't use attacks that we've seen him use in past arcs.
The next chapter will be the conclusion of the arc and after that we will return to the present.
