Chapter 44.
The unbreakable, Red Riot.
- "I praise your bravery in following us... but this is as far as you'll get!"- Techno said.
- "You won't be able to stop us!"- Izumi said.
- "I don't think you understand the magnitude of what's happening girl..."- Techno said appearing in front of Izumi with a punch ready to hit her. – "We have real combat experience!"-
Techno attacks Izumi but Kirishima steps in and blocks the attack with his hardened arms. – "Don't underestimate us!"- Kirishima said as he pushed Techno and attacked him with a punch. – "We also have real experience!"-
Techno is slightly surprised to see that his punch was blocked but quickly catches Kirishima's fist with his hand and then hits him in the chest with his elbow, sending him flying backwards.
Luckily, Izumi manages to catch Kirishima, Bakugo, Kaminari, and Iida position themselves at her sides.
- "I'm gonna kill you!" – Bakugo said.
- "We have to be careful!"- Iida said.
- "Together we can against him!"- Kaminari said.
- "We need to defeat him quickly!"- Izumi said. – "Kachan, Kaminari-kun, you two stay back, take care of the ranged attacks, Iida-kun, Kirishima-kun and I will take care of the close combat!"-
- "Plan everything you want! In the end it will be useless!"- Techno said.
- "Bastard! Don't be a show-off!"- Bakugo said.
- "No!"- Kirishima said getting everyone's attention as he stands up. – "I'll take care of him!"-
- "Kirishima-kun?!"- Iida said. – "What are you saying?! We must stay together to defeat him!"-
- "We have come to rescue Atanagi."- Kirishima said. – "You said it yourself; if we take too long we can lose the trail... Even if I can't win... I'll stop him long enough for the professionals to arrive."-
- "Kirishima-kun..."- Izumi said.
- "Please…"- Kirishima said. – "Let me do this."-
Izumi looks at Kirishima and then looks at him with determination and a smile. – "Understood! Let's go!"-
- "You better not take so long! Kirishima!"- Bakugo said.
- "I will join you again soon!"- Kirishima said.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, the four continue to follow the rest of the bronze guard.
- "I will finish you quickly!"- Techno said charging at Kirishima.
- "I won't make it so easy for you!"- Kirishima hardens his arms and crashes into Techno and the two begin a struggle.
- "How can he hold out against me?!"- Techno thought.
Kirishima quickly pushes Techno and then grabs him by the body and suplexes him to the ground. – "This will teach you not to underestimate me just because I'm a student!"- Kirishima said.
Techno gets up from the ground and wipes the dust off his clothes. – "Just because you caught me off guard doesn't give you a chance to brag."-
Kirishima doesn't say anything and stiffens his arms again and attacks Techno who tries to block the attack with his arms.
Techno recoils slightly from Kirishima's attack, but quickly manages to grab both of Kirishima's arms and knee him in the stomach. – "Don't get so excited..."- Techno quickly delivers a punch straight to Kirshima's face, sending him flying and crashing into a tree.
- "You know... whenever a group is forced to separate... the first one to separate from the group is always the weakest..."- Techno said. – "We could say that you are the weakest among all your teammates."-
Techno charges at Kirishima, but he stops his punch with his hand and smiles. – "If you put it that way..."- Kirishima punches Techno in the face, managing to knock him down. – "The same applies to you!"-
Techno quickly gets up and attacks Kirishima with a kick which lifts him into the air.
Kirishima flips in the air and leans against a tree and then launches himself at Techno, landing a hardened headbutt against Techno's chest.
Techno is pushed by the blow and crashes into a tree. – "I don't plan to give up!"- Kirishima said, but then a punch hits him on the cheek and makes him fall to the ground.
Kirishima is surprised to see Techno's fist floating in the air, then it returns to its owner, the fist reassembles with Techno, as if it were a robot.
- "You're a robot?!"- Kirishima asked.
- "Well more or less."- Techno said as he gets up from the ground. – "My quirk essentially turns me into a cyborg."-
Member of the bronze guard, Techno.
Quirk: Cyborg.
Techno's quirk essentially turns him into a cyborg, his legs, arms, and part of his torso are robotic and the rest is organic, thanks to this he can improve his body as well as make changes to it.
- "I have improved my body through mechanics, it is impossible for you to beat me.- Techno said.
- "So you're part robot..."- Kirishima said as he stands up, a smile appearing on his face. – "In that case I don't need to hold back... if I break you, you can be repaired!"-
- "I want to see you try!"- Both Techno and Kirishima charge at each other, clashing punches at high speed, however Techno seems to have the advantage.
After several clashing blows, Techno manages to hit Kirishima in the stomach and then kick him to send him flying, then fires his right fist in Kirishima's direction to hit him again and make him fall to the ground.
Without letting Kirishima recover, a jetpack emerges from Techno's back and Techno flies in Kirishima's direction, halfway he takes his right fist and assembles it back.
Kirishima stands up just as he is grabbed by the collar of his shirt by Techno and lifted into the sky. – "Aren't you supposed to break me?"- Techno quickly goes to the ground and slams Kirishima against it, then grabs him by the back of the head and drags him across the ground to finally throw him against a tree, destroying it.

Izumi, Iida, Kaminari, and Bakugo continue on their way following the path indicated by the tracker.
- "Midoriya…"- Kaminari said. – "Are you sure that leaving Kirishima behind to confront that guy is the right thing to do?" –
- "I don't know…"- Izumi said. – "But Kirishima-kun is right... we have to keep going before it's too late."-
- "Wouldn't it have been better if someone else stayed with him?"- Iida asked.
- "It wasn't necessary."- Bakugo said. – "Kirishima is strong enough to take on that guy... However, the idiot has a very strong weakness."-
- "And what is that weakness?" – Kaminari asked.
- "Despite his attitude... the idiot always believes he is weak."- Bakugo said. – "While we trained for the provisional license exam, the idiot always doubted whether he had enough strength... he needs something to force him to overcome his insecurities."-
- "Do you think fighting that guy will help him?"- Iida asked.
- "It's necessary... Kirishima needs that last push without anyone helping him."- Bakugo said. – "If he can overcome his insecurities, that guy won't have a chance against Kirishima."-
- "I'm sure he'll defeat him..."- Izumi said while smiling. – "Because it wouldn't be manly of him not to, right?"-
Bakugo smiles. - "You're damn right!"- He said.

Kirishima gets up from the ground, except for the dirt and a trickle of blood on his head, he is unharmed. – "I'm not going to give up..."- Kirishima said.
- "You are infuriating..." - Techno said as he points his left pinky finger at Kirishima. – "Die at once."-
The finger shoots towards Kirishima and when it hits him it explodes, the explosion is quite large compared to the size of the finger.
- "What a waste...I was forced to use one finger…"- Techno said in annoyance as he prepares to leave, however he is greeted by a punch to the face.
- "I may not be as smart as Midoriya... but I'm not a fool either!"- Kirishima said. – "Since you pointed your finger at me I have hardened my skin! I couldn't let my guard down!"-
In fact, Kirishima managed to withstand the explosion thanks to the fact that he hardened his skin before the impact, however this did not make him invulnerable, his shoulder, which was the place where the missile hit, has a few burns and blood falling from a couple of wounds.
Techno gets up from the ground and attacks Kirishima with a punch, but Kirishima blocks the attack and counterattacks with a punch to Techno's chest and then throws him against a nearby rock.
Kirishima does not allow Techno to get up and attacks him again, however Techno uses his jetpack to rise into the sky and dodge Kirishima's attack.
He then points his right arm at Kirishima, a device emerges from his arm with which he shoots a cable that gets tangled in Kirishima's waist, Techno then uses this cable to throw Kirishima against several trees several times.
In one of these Kirishima manages to grab the cable and stop, then he uses this same cable to throw Techno to the ground and then breaks the cable with his arms. – "Stop using cheap tricks and fight like a man!"- Kirishima said as he charges at Techno who dodges the attack and then hits Kirishima in the stomach with a strong kick.
- "If you wish..."- Techno said.
Kirishima falls to his knees while catching his breath, that blow was quite strong and fast. - "That kick was very fast... I didn't have time to harden my body..."- Kirishima tries to get up but is kicked by Techno.
Techno approaches Kirishima, who is lying face up on the ground. – "Let's get this over with..."- Techno said as he attacked Kirishima with a punch, however...
CRASH!
Techno's right hand is destroyed into pieces, leaving only a pair of fingers intact.
Techno doesn't feel the pain, but he does recoil in surprise that his right hand has been destroyed. – "What the…"-
Kirishima gets up from the ground. – "Damn... I thought I could go longer without using this..."- Kirishima said. – "But it's time to fight seriously! Unbreakable!"- Kirishima is now in his Unbreakable form.
Techno just glares at Kirishima as he separates what's left of his hand from his arm. – "Bastard..."- He said. – "You just took me by surprise, from now on I won't underestimate you."-
- "I can say the same... I wasn't fighting at my full strength and that cost me..."- Kirishima said. – "However now I have the advantage... you've lost a hand and I'm still whole!"-
- "If you think that losing a hand is an impediment for me... it will be your downfall."- Techno said.
- "No... I just underestimated my opponent..."- Kirishima said. – "With Unbreakable I am an unbreakable shield and a powerful spear! You won't defeat me!"-
Kirishima charges at Techno and tries to hit him with several punches, however Techno manages to dodge them all. – "If you are a shield and a spear..."- Techno crouches down and kicks Kirishima's chest, it doesn't hurt him but it does make him back down. – "Then I am a force field and a lightsaber!"-
A compartment opens in Techno's right pectoral and several robotic pieces come out and begin to assemble, forming the head of a hammer which joins with his right arm.
Using this hammer, Techno his Kirishima in the face, however Kirishima only moves his head slightly and punches Techno in the torso who takes a few steps back.
Kirishima tries to attack Techno again but he crouches down again and, this time, his right foot splits in two and becomes a claw with which he grabs Kirishima by the chest and then spins to smash him into the ground. – "I'm just getting started!"- He then uses his jetpack while holding onto Kirishima to fly off and slam Kirishima into some rocks, then throws him into the air.
Quickly, Techno uses his jetpack to head towards Kirishima and try to hit him with his hammer, however Kirishima withstands the attack with his face. – "You won't defeat me with that..."- Kirishima said while putting his two fists together. – "Red Hammer!"- Kirishima hits Techno in the chest with his two fists together, sending him crashing hard against the ground, meanwhile he lands on the ground somewhat tired and with a few wounds on his body and face.
Techno gets up from the ground and sees how the robotic part of his chest is cracked. – "He did all this damage to me with a single blow... this boy is dangerous... I can't allow him to land any more critical blows." – Techno thought. – "This time I won't give him time to react!"-
Techno charges at Kirishima again who tries to hit him, however Techno dodges the blow and points his ring finger at Kirishima's chest. – "Let's end this"- Techno shoots his finger which explodes directly into Kirishima's chest, who despite his hardening begins to bleed.
At that, a pair of thrusters come out of Techno's elbows and using these he begins to hit Kirishima multiple times all over his body, thanks to the thrusters his blows are much faster and stronger.
Kirishima tries to resist the blows, despite breaking he hardens again, but little by little he is getting tired.
- "You're trying to harden your body as soon as I break it, aren't you?!"- Techno said. – "I am a cyborg; I have unlimited stamina! Let's see how much you can last!"- A second thruster comes out of each of Techno's shoulders, thus increasing the speed and strength of his attacks.
And after at least a hundred blows, Kirishima finally gives in to the attacks, with his last strength he tries to hit Techno with a punch, however he once again turns his right foot into a claw and catches his fist. – "It's over..."- Techno said.
Using his thrusters on his elbow, Techno hits Kirishima in the face with his hammer and releases his fist, Kirishima falls back to the ground completely exhausted, with wounds all over his body and blood falling from his forehead.
Techno lets out a sigh and stands over Kirishima, pointing his left thumb at Kirishima's face. – "You put up a pretty good fight, kid...not many make me use four fingers to take them down."- Techno said. – "I'll be sure to tell the rest of your teammates that you fought with honor. But you should not worry about them, soon they will join you in the afterlife."-
Kirishima only listens to what Techno says, his body can't take it anymore, he is completely tired, in these last moments, the memories of his life flash through his mind.

Flashback.
- "What's that?"- A Kirishima before entering UA thought to see a hooded figure cornering two girls from his school.
- "Where is he?"- the hooded man said as his hand claws dug into the wall next to the girls, who were so scared they couldn't speak. – "Tell me… Where is lord All for One?!"-
Kirishima tried to intervene, but his legs wouldn't respond, he was paralyzed with fear. – "Come on… do something!"- Kirishima told himself, but his body doesn't respond. – "Come on…"-
At that, a pink-skinned girl stands between the cloaked figure and the girls. – "We don't know who you're talking about! We don't know anyone by that name!"-
- "I see… In that case I'll look elsewhere..."- After this, the figure leaves the place.
After this, the girls burst into tears out of fear while the police arrive, for his part Krishima just watches, very disappointed in himself.
That same day at night, Kirishima sits at his desk, a sheet of paper in front of him with the name of the UA school written on it, now crossed out.
Kirishima is disappointed in himself, he is about to give up, he cannot be a hero like his idol, Crimson Riot, when he is about to give up, a holographic projector of a Crimson Riot interview falls to the ground from its box, turning on and showing a fragment of the interview that Kirishima didn't finish watching.
- "Many people think that I am not afraid!"- Crimson said. – "But that's not true! Of course I can feel afraid!"-
Kirishima looks at the projection.
- "Anyone who throws himself into the jaws of danger without feeling fear is an idiot!"- Crimson said. – "But there is something that scares me more than death! The torment of seeing people perish because we couldn't save them!"-
Kirishima opens his eyes, even his idol can feel fear.
- "It is having experienced that that I launch myself without thinking against the enemy!"- Crimson continued.
– "And what does a manly spirit mean to you?"- The interviewer asks.
- "It's the attitude you carry in your soul!"- Crimson answered. – "And I may always say "manly" but that's valid for any gender! For me, a manly heart is living a life without regrets!"-
Flashback end.

Crimson Riot's words echo in Krishima's mind as he clenches his fists, he can't lose, he will never forgive himself if that happens!
- "Before killing you I would like to know your name."- Techno said.
- "I… I am…"- Kirishima said, but his energy didn't let him speak. – "I am…"-
- "It seems that you no longer have the strength to even say your name... anyway... I think your friends called you Kirishima, right?"- Techno said. – "Well Kirishima... it was fun fighting you... but I already wasted a lot of time."-
Techno shoots his thumb, but to his surprise Kirishima catches it and crushes it before it could even explode. – "Wha…"- Techno can't quite assimilate what happened as Kirishima suddenly stands up to stare at him, his eyes completely blank, as if he were in a trance. – "Bastard... how many times do I have to knock you down?!"-
Techno attacks Kirishima with his hammer powered by his thrusters, however as soon as the hammer hits Kirishima's face it breaks into pieces.
Kirishima is back in his Unbreakable form.
- "Impossible!"- Techno takes a few steps back and points his left ring finger at Kirishima, but before he could fire, Kirishima knocks his arm off with the edge of his hand.
For the first time Techno is scared. – "I have to get away from him..."- Techno tries to use his jetpack to gain distance, but Kirishima grabs his leg with his left hand and slams him into the ground, destroying the jetpack in the process.
Kirishima, with his hand still gripping Techno's leg, drags him to stand on top of him. – "You asked for my name..."- Kirishima prepares a punch with his right hand. – "I am Red Riot!"- Kirishima hits Techno with a powerful punch, the punch was so strong that not only did it create a crater with just the impact, but it also destroyed the part of Techno's robotic chest.
- "I... Impossible..."- It was the last thing Techno thought before falling unconscious.
Kirishima takes a few steps back, looks at Techno's unconscious body for a few seconds and then screams, looking up at the sky. – "I am the winner!"- Kirishima screams at the top of his lungs.
Finally, after a tough fight Kirishima releases his hardening, takes a breath, and begins to walk, with difficulty, in the direction of where the others left. – "I have to... I have to help others." - Kirishima tries to continue, but his body finally gives way and he falls to the ground. - "Guys... I'm sorry but... I think that's as far as I'm going... I leave the rest in your hands..."-
After a tough fight, Kirishima falls unconscious, however he is the absolute winner of the fight.

Another chapter finished and yeah.
We started with the fights and the first one has happened.
What did you think of the fight?
I'm going to be honest; Kirishima's fights are difficult to make dynamic, all because of the nature of Kirishima's quirk.
And no, that does not mean that I dislike the character, in fact Kirishima is one of my favorite characters in all of My Hero Academia, I'm just saying that his quirk does not lend itself to having a dynamic fight full of choreography.
Still, I think I did well with what I had.
Well, nothing, the first member of the Bronze Guard has fallen, there are four left.
The next chapter will be Iida's turn to demonstrate his courage and strength.
