We were in the lobby of the ship. We were going on a field trip. I recently found out that when passengers went on them, they were called excursions. I couldn't help but wonder if things were any different. Of course, the passengers had to pay extra for them and we did not. You might be wondering how I got this sweet school at sea thing. Well there were two factors there. My mom was a Tipton employee, so there was a discount there and two my dad was the 90s rockstar Kurt Martin, who was cousins with Coldplay's Chris Martin. You might know him for his songs "Love in Chinatown", "Always Here" and his biggest hit "When We Were Kids".

"Attention class." Our teacher said. I don't know why she felt the need to say that when everyone was already looking at her. "Today we will be visiting the tomb of Princess Zaria."

"I've heard that tourists at the tomb can participate in a real archeological excavation." My brother Cody replied. Her girlfriend Bailey squealed in delight.

Now Cody and I, we couldn't be more different. He was studious, clean, motivated, and monogamous. In others words, he was a dork. I was lazy, messy, and more focused on sleeping with girls than I was in dating them. I liked Bailey, but I didn't really like her dating my brother. It wasn't that I had a crush on her myself, even though I did have sex with her, something that Cody doesn't even know. It was more that she and Cody seemed to bring out the worst in each other.

"I haven't been this excited about digging stuff up since our home got swallowed up in the mudslide of 04." Bailey said. Bailey was also different from the two of us. While my brother and grew up in mansions and a luxury hotel, she grew up on a farm in Kansas with parents who voted for John McCain.

"Maybe you should move." London Tipton replied. Her family probably didn't have the money for that. London didn't really understand that everyone else wasn't as rich as her.

"Now I assume that you all did your reading and prepared for today's gig." Miss Tutweiller stated. Did she know us? "She said doubtfully.

That actually made me feel a little bit bad. I did know Miss Tutweiller was kind of a depressed person. She had a crush on our cruise director Mr. Moseby, but I was pretty sure that he didn't see it.

"I didn't do the reading but I'm prepared. I brought my old pale and shovel." London said as she pulled out a toy digging kit. She was like Paris Hilton if Paris was actually an idiot. She was a friend of mine, but she was absolutely not intelligent.

"Wow what do you for a microscope?" Cody asked before bringing up something that I didn't understand. I didn't understand why Cody was picking on her. What did he have to gain from it? Not to mention his putdown was so obscure only Bailey got it. Like I said, they bring out the worst in each other.

"You know I've heard better trash talk from mimes." My roommate Marcus Little declared. He had an obvious crush on London. He was also a former child star that no one cared about anymore. Those were his words, not mine.

The trip there was so interesting. I was a little surprised that had us go by bus on a road that was properly safe. Still it was fun. I headed with Bailey and London to the sight.

"That bus ride was awesome." I said.

"I can't believe how narrow that rode was." Bailey replied.

"I was pretty sure that we were going to fall off the side to a fiery death." London commented. Okay, that was more morbid than anything I had ever heard from her. "Didn't you think so Miss Tutweiller?"

Miss Tutweiller was so rattled from the ride that she needed Cody and Marcus to walk with her.

"STOP THE BUS!" She shouted. She appeared to be shell-shocked.

Part of the reason that I was with Bailey was my best friend Woody couldn't go on the trip because he was allergic to some of the plants on the mountain. It was a shame but working with him probably wouldn't work because between the two of us we wouldn't get anything done.

A that point, an attractive guide came over and started to flirt with her. I can say he's attractive.

"Welcome I am Luis, your guide and you are?" He asked.

"Single." She replied. She also fell for guys pretty fast. Apparently she had more trouble keeping men than getting them to notice her. "I mean Emma Tutweiller and this is my class from the S.S. Tipton."

"Hey Luis I have a question." Marcus said. Luis went on about sacrifices, which was a little frightening. "No I just need to know where the bathroom is otherwise something worse than sacrifices is going to happen here."

Why did he feel the need to bring that up? Also Marcus wasn't that bright either. Apparently you needed a large board to fight off the spiders to get to the bathroom. I already of bugs, so giant spiders was enough of a reason to hold it. It was a good thing that I went before we left.

"So class and lovely teacher, I will be taking you on a journey into the past." Luis declared.

"Oh I want to go back to this morning when I was on a luxury cruise ship instead of this pile of dirt." London said. He didn't mean literally.

"Still here." Luis told her. "This dirt contains many artifacts from my country's history, including the burial ground of Princess Zaria."

Why were we digging up a grave? Maybe it was just me but I was told that digging up graves was a no-no. Why was this grave any more important than my grandfather's?

"I'm gonna go to the gift shop to see if this comes in a bobblehead." London said. I just shook my head to that.

Luis then tried to tell the story but Cody and Bailey kept interrupting him.

"Can you the let man do his job?" I asked. Bailey blushed at that, but Cody looked at me like I was crazy.

"Well Luis I have my own personal theory." Cody said.

"And here we go." I stated, knowing my brother was about to start rambling. I took out my camera because I wanted to take pictures of this. I hadn't ever told anyone but I was a huge fan of the Incas. I also knew the story of Zaria, but I didn't feel the need to show off to everyone.

Later, I decided to scare Cody because it was fun. One of the other reasons I was uncomfortable being here was that there was rumors that pretty much every ancient tomb ever had a curse on it. The last thing that we needed to do was trigger that. I did not want to die like some of the people in the Indiana Jones movies. Also that movie with Hannah Montana as his granddaughter…pretty good.

"I am this close to finding the crown of Zaria." He told me.

"I don't care." I replied. Well, I did, but mainly I didn't want anyone to find it because I felt that it should be left where it was. The thing about artifacts is that everyone wanted to be famous for taking them from where they found them. Were people that hungry for glory that they felt the need to defile someone's grave in order to do it. I was actually glad that the guys that stole from King Tut died because they deserved it.

"Well you should care because when I find the crown…" He started. Yup he was just like the rest of them. Apparently he didn't believe in curses either.

"You're going to buy a pair of matching earrings." I quipped. My brother actually was pretty feminine. Part of me even thought that he wanted to be a girl at some point. He had even dressed as a girl before.

"No I will be hailed as one of the greatest archeologists of all time." He retorted. I was pretty sure that that wasn't the flex that he thought it was. Archeologists weren't exactly famous. "I'll be on the cover of Tomb Digest."

"Ooh that magazine is read by tens of people." I pointed out. Like I said archeologists weren't famous.

"I don't even know why I'm talking to you. Your biggest dream is eating a pizza in two bites." He said.

I didn't know what I wanted to do yet. I was still in high school and I had time to figure it out. Part of me wanted to sing but I didn't want to be in my dad's shadow. Not to mention at school, I was always in Cody's shadow. No one really cared for me to be my own person, so I didn't try to accomplish anything.

I decided that I wanted to hang out with Bailey some. I needed to get her away from Luis…and also Cody.

"So you don't need to show off here." I told her.

"I'm just so excited to find the crown." Bailey said. "I don't even want to take it. I just want to touch it."

"You know there could be a curse on it." I remarked.

"Nothing that I read mentioned anything about a curse." She said, but there were rumors that Zaria was a witch.

"If I tell you something, do you promise not to tell Cody?" I requested.

"What is it?" She asked.

"I know all about this stuff too." I replied. "I just don't really want to be here because I don't think this stuff should be touched. Even if there isn't a curse, it feels wrong being here. I mean how would you feel if you had a bunch of people trying to dig up your grave?"

"When you put it like that, I see what you mean." She admitted. "I didn't think you would care about this."

"I miss being able to talk to you like this." I remarked. We had been roommates on the first day of school because she pretended to be a boy. Naturally, I was the first to find out. That was when we had sex, but when people found out, the biggest thing that I missed was being able to talk to her. Some people say that boys and girls can't be friends because one of them always wants to date the other. The thing was I avoided being friends with her because I knew my brother liked her. I sacrificed being around this amazing girl for my brother's happiness.

We kept walking and I tripped over something.

"Are you okay?" She asked as she rushed over.

"I think so." I replied as I got off of the ground and noticed what I tripped over. Uh oh. That was not good.

"Is that…" Bailey asked as she looked at the artifact by my feet.

"I think it is." I stated as I looked it over. It was the crown of Zaria. I wasn't sure if I should touch it or not. Then again, I felt that it shouldn't be separated from the rest of this. I didn't want anyone to take it. "We should put this in the tomb. Maybe on the statue's head or something."

"Cody's going to be so jealous." Bailey gushed. I glared at her. "I mean you're probably right."

The two of us crept back over to the statue while everyone else was climbing the mountain, which I also did not want to do.

"It was a shame that she never got to wear this." I commented. Well maybe it wasn't considering that she was an evil sorceress. Nevertheless, she was going to get to wear it now. I placed the crown upon the statue's head. Suddenly a green gas came out of it.

"What's going on?" Bailey asked.

"I don't know." I said.

Bailey's POV

I watched as the gas went into Zack's body. This was not good. It seemed like he was right about there being a curse on the crown. I hoped that he was going to be okay.

"Zack?" I asked.

"This will not do." Zack declared. "This body is not to my liking."

I heard some weird words coming out of his mouth. Was this the language of the Incans? Also Zack was possessed by Zaria. If I wasn't so terrified, I would be amazed. A lot of smoke started to appear. I coughed a little. When the smoke cleared, I saw a girl with strawberry blonde hair wearing a gold dress.

"That's better." She said. She sounded Australian for some reason. I thought it would be more of a Chilean accent.

"Zack?" I asked, even though I knew it wasn't him.

"You." She said, looking at me. "State your name."

"I'm Bailey." I told her. This was really not good. Zack was possessed by an evil sorceress who had turned him into a girl. Granted, a pretty girl but I did not think that Zack wanted to be a girl

"You will be the first of my servants." She declared before move her hands and suddenly my clothes transformed into a white dress…one that I was not wearing underwear with. While it would be historically accurate not for people not to be wearing them, it was not comfortable.

"No." I told her. "Get out of my friend now."

Well calling Zack a friend was a bit of a stretch. I had wanted to be friends with him, but he always shut me down whenever I wanted to hang out. Maybe it was because he knew that Cody liked me. He pushed me away because he knew that his brother liked me. No one could tell me that Zack was selfish.

At that point Zaria's eyes glowed.

"You will serve me…" She said.

"I will serve you…" I repeated. "Why did I say that?"

I was pretty sure that it was some kind of mind control. I was freaking out but I knew that I shouldn't show my fear in front of her. I also felt that she could do far worse to me.

"That was just a taste of what I can do." Zaria responded. "If you defy me again, I will completely take over your mind. Now will you serve me?"

"Yes, Princess Zaria." I replied. What else was I supposed to say. Not only could she control my mind but she could probably turn me into a goat or a statue or even kill me if she wanted to.

I would need to figure out a way to get Zaria out of Zack's body...and probably find a way to return his body to normal, but the first one was obviously more important. I wished that I could find Cody to help me with this, even though I was pretty sure that he did not believe in magic and curses like I did.

"So what are you trying to do?" I asked her as I started to walk with her.

"Well the first thing that I need to do is break the curse on this tomb." She stated. "The shamans placed a curse on the tomb to prevent me from leaving if I was to ever return. In order to rule the world I will need to undo the spell."

One thing that I figured was that by continuing to talk to her, I could get her to tell me her evil plan. I wasn't sure if I would be able to do anything about it, but one thing that I had learned from movies that villains liked to talk a lot. I didn't even have my phone anymore because he spell had gotten rid of it.

"You know I should thank you and your friend." She told me. "If you hadn't found the crown I wouldn't be able to return to this world. You would think that the shamans would have destroyed it."

So I now knew how to maybe break the curse but I still would have to get the crown and destroy it. How I was going to do that I did not know.

It was then that I saw Cody.

"Cody!" I yelled over to him.

"Bailey. What's going on and why are you dressed like that?" He asked. I wasn't the most comfortable with him seeing me in it either. "Is that the crown of Zaria?"

"I know it's hard to believe but this is Zack. Zaria took over his body and turned him into this." I explained. "We need to destroy the crown in order to break the spell."

"You want me to destroy a priceless artifact?" Cody asked as the rest of the group appeared.

"Silence!" Zaria remarked. "There will be no destroying."

With that, she proceeded to turn Cody into a goat.

"Now you will pay for your insolence." She told me.

"I'm sorry, Your Highness." I told her. I had a plan. It would be awkward, but I had a plan. "I wish to make it up to you."

I went over and kissed her. She seemed to be fooled by it because she kissed me back. While she was distracted, I grabbed the crown and threw it.

"Now someone destroy it." I ordered. With that Marcus grabbed a boulder and dropped it on the crown. There was smoke and suddenly both Cody and my clothes returned to normal. I looked over and saw Zack/Zaria unconscious. Shouldn't he have been turned back too? I went over to see who was in control.

"Zack?" I asked.

She opened her eyes and grabbed her head.

"Oh, my head hurts. Where am I?' She asked as she sat up. "Wait, that's not my voice. What's wrong with me?"

She then looked down and screamed.

So I actually wrote this a long time ago but there is going to be a twist right now, which you've probably already seen from the summary. Anyway Zoey is played by Phillipa Coulthard. I'm currently torn between Zoey/Bailey and Zoey/Maya. I could use suggestions. Please don't forget to review.
