Hello again everyone I'm back once again to bring you another chapter of my story; if you all are enjoying it please keep on supporting me and my other works. Now with nothing else to say lets begin.
Sabaku no Kitsune: Chapter 25
Kiri hotel: 3 hours before the chunin exam finals
Naruto was checking all his equipment before he left off to the arena; Temari, Gaara and Kankuro were all sitting a few feet away on the couch watching Naruto.
"Ok let's see" Naruto said "big fan, 2 small fans, a dozen shuriken and kunai, smoke bombs and a new gauntlet courtesy of Kankuro" he said putting on his new gauntlet on his left hand. "Thanks for making me another one on such a short notice Kankuro" Naruto said and Kankuro waved him off.
"No problem" Kankuro said "building a new one from scratch takes me an hour tops" he said and Naruto gave him a thumbs up.
"I must say Naruto" Gaara began "you and Temari have a knack for getting into trouble at the most inconvenient times" he said making Naruto rub the back of his head in embarrassment and making Temari roll her eyes.
"You never know what's going to happen until it bites you in the ass" Temari said before looking at Naruto with a smile "but we made it out just fine" she said.
"Yeah after getting our asses kicked" Naruto said "but never mind that; we have a final to win" he said as he put all his weapons in the necessary holsters. "Ok then time to go and meet my team" Naruto said with a smile "I get to hang out with Sakura and Hinata again; man this is great" he said as he went over to Temari. "See you after I win Temari" Naruto said as he kissed her on the lips which she returned before parting and smiling.
"Good luck honey; I know you can do it" Temari said and Naruto gave her a smile and a thumbs up.
"Later guys; wish me luck and have fun talking to grandma, Koyuki and the others" Naruto said to Gaara and Kankuro who nodded just before Naruto put his hood and mask on and leaving the room.
"I swear that kid has to much energy" Kankuro said "maybe Gaara should pass the hat to him when he gets to tired of being Kazekage" he said as both he and Temari laughed. Gaara's eyes widened in realization.
'Wait… Naruto…Kazekage' Gaara thought as cogs began to turn in his head 'hmmm… is that legal; I'll have to see' he thought.
With Kurumi, Karin and Obito
Obito was nursing a bump on his head as a fuming Kurumi and a blushing Karin stood over him "seriously pa; don't just warp yourself into out room" she said annoyed.
"How was I supposed to know you were changing" Obito said before Kurumi bonked him again.
"Walk up and knock on the door like a normal person" Kurumi said as she finished putting on her armor and strapped her sword onto her back.
'He saw my underwear' Karin thought as she put on her sandals 'oh god I can no longer get married' she thought.
"Ok, ok I'm sorry" Obito said "so are you 2 ready to go" he said and both Kurumi and Karin looked at him and nodded.
"Hell yeah we are; we're gonna kick ass and win this thing" Kurumi said and Karin nodded.
"Lucky for us Naruto goes first, we go last" Karin said "so if we all win we will all fight together as a combined team" she said. "Also, we have a ringer; Naruto knows a lot about Sakura, Hinata and Lee; so we will fight according to who will perform best against each of them" she said and Obito nodded.
"Well, no matter what I want to say this" Obito said as he put a hand on both of their shoulders "I'm proud of all 3 of you; and win or lose I know you will do 'Team Tobi' proud" he said with a smile.
Both Kurumi and Karin smiled and went in and hugged Obito who hugged them back; they then broke the hug and Obito put on his mask "ok girls; lets go" Obito said as he grabbed their hands and warped themselves out of the room.
Kiri stadium: with Sakura and Hinata
Sakura and Hinata were both in a room by themselves doing stretches as the prepared for their match in 2 hours "and to the toes 1…2…3" Sakura said as both she and Hinata did toe touches "and up" Sakura said as she and Hinata stood back up. "You ready to kick some butt Hinata" Sakura said clenching her fist.
"Yes; I'm ready to 'kick butt'" Hinata said with a smile "with the power of youth" she said making Sakura roll her eyes.
"I swear; you spent way too much time training with Lee" Sakura said "next thing you know you will be wearing his spandex" she said. Hinata giggled making Sakura look at her; Hinata opened her jacket and revealed a lavender spandex suit Lee gave her.
"It's actually quite comfortable" Hinata said "very breathable and absorbent; but make sure you go to the bathroom before you put it on" she said making Sakura's jaw drop.
"Oh Hinata" Sakura said with a sly look "accepting gifts from a boy; how bold of you" she said making Hinata blush.
"It's not like that" Hinata protested "it's just… he's so positive and supportive" she said poking her fingers together. Just then the door opened up and 'Menma' walked in.
"Hey there teammates" Naruto said "are you 2 lovely ladies ready to rock this thing" he said with an upbeat attitude.
"Hey Menma" Sakura said "it's been a while; anything happens while you were training" she said and Naruto flinched.
"Ummm yeah we got attacked by some rogue ninja's" Naruto said shocking them "but me and my team handled it no problem" he said making both Sakura and Hinata breath a sigh of relief.
"Oh, thank goodness" Sakura said "it's a dangerous world out there" she said and Naruto nodded.
"Yeah, I'll say" Naruto said as he sat down on a bench "so we are fighting the Kiri team with an Iwa member right" he asked and they nodded.
"Yes" Hinata said "me and Sakura formulated a plan of action; we were just waiting for you so we can tell you" she said.
"Well lets hear it then" Naruto said "and I promise I'll do my best and give it my all" he said and Sakura nodded.
"Ok here's the plan" Sakura began.
In another room: With Kurumi, Karin and Lee
Karin and Kurumi were both sitting at a table in awe as Lee did his pre battle work out; Lee was currently doing pushups on his pinkies for the past 5 minutes.
"998…999…1000" Lee said as a pool of sweat formed under him; Lee sprung up and landed on his feet wiping the sweat from his forehead "Yes, I finished my warm up and ready to fight" he said. Kurumi and Karin were still looking at him.
"Pinky push-ups, wall sit ups, toe squats" Kurumi said "how the hell do you do it" she asked.
"With the power of youth" Lee said with a thumbs up, a wink and a smile making both Karin and Kurumi sweat drop.
"That really doesn't explain a lot" Karin said before clearing her throat "ok so we probably form a plan of some kind" Karin said as Lee nodded and sat at a table with Karin and Kurumi. "You are a taijutsu specialist correct" Karin asked and Lee nodded "very well so it looks like we are well rounded" she said. "I'm a medium to short range fighter while Kurumi is a long to short range fighter" Karin said.
"I'll provide long range attacks with my fire jutsu and once they are weakened, I will engage with my sword" Kurumi said.
"I'll fight with my chains mostly but will also engage in taijutsu when necessary" Karin said "so when the battle starts wince you use taijutsu almost exclusively we will follow your lead" she said.
"Very well Ms. Karin" Lee said with a smile "I will be honored to lead the way in this battle and lead us to victory" he said with confidence which made Karin and Kurumi smile.
"That's what we wanted to hear" Kurumi said.
With Gaara, Kankuro, Mei, and Koyuki
Gaara, Kankuro, Mei and Koyuki were all sitting in a VIP box over looking the arena; they were all sitting just as the door opened and they all turned. Tsunade with Shizune by her side walked in and nodded.
"Lord Kazekage" Tsunade said to Gaara who nodded in response "Lady Mizukage, Lady Kazahana" she said to Mei and Koyuki respectively as she sat down in her own seat. "I head about your sister being attacked Lord Kazekage" Tsunade said cryptically "I hope she and her boyfriend are ok" she said and Gaara nodded.
"Thay are fine" Gaara said "minor injuries but nothing serious" he said and Tsunade nodded.
"I'm glad to hear that" Tsunade said "I can't wait to see him in action" she said referring to Naruto in all but name.
"Same here" Koyuki said "he has grown a lot stronger since the last time I witnessed him in battle" she said.
"We'll see him soon enough" Mei said as she pressed a button on her chair "Ao; hurry the hell up with those refreshments" Mei shouted making everyone jump.
"Yes, lady Mei… spoiled brat" Ao said through the intercom whispering the last part.
"What the fuck did you say" Mei shouted.
"Nothing my lady" Ao said as he clicked off.
With Temari and Katsu
Temari and Katsu were both in a monitor room looking at each screen to see that the cameras were working properly.
"Camera 8 and 12 are a little wonky but should still be good for broadcasting" Katsu said as Temari scribbled down the numbers.
"Ok got it" Temari said putting away her notepad; as she did so the door opened and her mood went from reserved to annoyed "oh it's you" she said as Katsu turned and got a sour look on her face as well.
Shikamaru walked in with his assistant Kama following him in "Temari, how's it going" he said "you look-" he began until Temari turned away.
"I have nothing to say to you asshole" Temari said making Shikamaru sigh.
"Do not talk to lord Shikamaru like that" Kama said making Temari's head snap towards her.
"What the fuck you say to me bitch" Temari said as she began to march towards Kama; however, Katsu held Temari back and Shikamaru put his arm in front of Kama.
"Kama don't" Shikamaru said "there is no need for any fighting here" he said and Kama nodded.
"Yes sir" Kama said as she back away.
"Temari; chill out" Katsu said; Temari huffed and pulled away.
"Fine" Temari said as she and Katsu stood on the opposite side of the room away from Shikamaru and Kama.
Jonin area: With Kakashi
Kakashi was sitting on a couch as he saw the timer tick down '30 minutes until the start of the finals' Kakashi thought; just then a weight plopped down on the other side of the couch and Kakashi turned. Kakashi saw the sand teams sensei and a woman he never met sitting there.
"Oh hey Kakashi" Obito said using his Tobi voice "remember me Tobi" he said and Kakashi eye smiled.
"Hello again Tobi" Kakashi said before looking at the woman who was smiling "and who is this" he asked and Obito wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
"This my wife Sango; isn't she pretty" Tobi said making Kakashi's eye widen.
"Hi; I'm Sango" Sango said with a smile and a wave.
Kakashi was flabbergasted at how beautiful she was and looked her "how the hell did this guy end up with you" he said "he's just so…odd" Kakashi said and Sango chuckled.
"Tobi makes me laugh" Sango said "also he has a big cock too" she said making everyone in the room look at her and Obito who was laughing.
"Oh, honey don't exaggerate" Obito said 'oh man this is so much fun' Obito thought. 'I love throwing people for a loop' he thought.
'Oh my god look at their faces' Sango thought 'now I know why Obito told me to say out of pocket things; it's so much fun' she thought with a chuckle.
'Ok who the hell is this guy' Kakashi thought "weird jutsu, goofy attitude, hot wife… such an enigma" he said.
"You think I'm hot" Sango said making Kakashi jump.
"Shit I said that out loud" Kakashi said blushing as Obito wrapped his arm around Sango.
"Back off buddy she's mine" Obito said chuckling behind his mask 'God I miss this' he thought.
5 minutes until the finals: With Naruto, Sakura and Hinata
Naruto, Sakura and Hinata were all waiting for their names to be called as they waited at the entrance of the west side of the arena; Naruto was basically bouncing on his feet in anticipation.
"Menma you are so hyper" Sakura said making Naruto turn to her "I swear I only knew one other person more hyper than you" she said.
"Oh really; what was he like" Naruto said.
"An idiot in every meaning of the word" Sakura said making Naruto gain a tic mark "but he was brave, strong, nice to a fault… everything I never saw before it was too late" Sakura said sadly.
"He was my idol and reason to go forward" Hinata said gaining Naruto's attention "he… was also my first love" she said. "I just wish I was brave enough to tell him" Hinata said.
Naruto paused as he heard those word from Sakura and Hinata and felt his heart clench; however he had to fight back his tears and speak. "Sound like a great guy" Naruto said.
"The best" Sakura said with a small smile "that's why I'm gonna become Hokage in his honor; for Naruto" she said.
"For Naruto" Hinata said.
"Well, I'm sure he's rooting for you where ever he is" Naruto said making both Sakura and Hinata smile.
"Now for the first match of the Finals" came Katsu's voice over the intercom "Sakura Haruno, Hinata Hyuga and Menma of Suna vs Shiki (Kiri), Aoto (Kiri) and Akio of Iwa; please enter the arena" her voice said.
"Ok girls" Nauto said "lets rock" he said as both Sakura and Hinata nodded and all 3 walked side by side through the entrance.
All 3 entered the arena and looked around; there was a large lake in the middle with a forested area to the North and a grass field to the South.
'A wide-open field; perfect for me' Naruto thought as he looked across and saw the enemy team about 200 yards away at the other side of the arena.
"Ok ladies and gentlemen" Katsu's voice boomed overhead "Let the finals of the Kiri chunin exams… BEGIN" she said as a bang went of signaling the start of the battle.
