Here's to another chapter. I totally missed this couple so I just wanted to get something out!

TW/ Anxiety

After Canceling 5 appointments Olivia sat anxiously in Dr. Garcia's office, her phone suddenly ringing with her mother's name flashing on the screen. With a deep breath, Olivia answered the call.

"Mom, I'm in the middle of something important. Can this wait?"

"I just wanted to remind you, Olivia, that you ruined your own life because of your stubbornness and your need to be daddys little hero."

Olivia's hands clenched as her mother's words cut through her like a knife. She ended the call, feeling a mix of anger and hurt. Dr. Garcia, noticing Olivia's distress, inquired gently.

"Is everything okay, Olivia? You seem upset."

Olivia, her voice tinged with bitterness, replied, "Just the usual family drama. Nothing new."

Dr. Garcia recognized Olivia's defensive stance and decided to approach with caution, knowing that breaking down Olivia's walls would take time and patience.

"It seems like something significant is bothering you today. Would you like to talk about it?"

Olivia, still reeling from the emotional turmoil of her mother's words, hesitated before responding

"It's just... my mom. She always knows how to push my buttons and make me feel like Its my fault i'm so screwed up ."

Dr. Garcia nodded understandingly, creating a safe space for Olivia to express herself without judgment.

"It sounds like your relationship with your mother is complicated. How do her words make you feel?"

Dr. Garcia, recognizing the significance of Olivia's emotional state, gently pushed deeper, hoping to unravel the layers of pain and resentment that Olivia had buried within herself.

"Olivia, it's okay to feel vulnerable. Your emotions are valid, and it's important to address them. Can you tell me more about how your mother's words have affected you?"

As Olivia delved into the depths of her emotional turmoil, memories of past conflicts and unresolved issues flooded her mind. The weight of years of emotional baggage became too much to bear, and Olivia felt a suffocating wave of anxiety wash over her.

Olivia's breath quickened, her chest tightening as she struggled to contain the overwhelming rush of emotions. Tears welled up in her eyes, blurring her vision as she tried to compose herself.

Dr. Garcia, sensing Olivia's escalating distress, tried to offer reassurance and support.

"Olivia, you're not alone in this. I'm here to help you navigate through these emotions and find a way forward. Take a deep breath and remember that it's okay to feel vulnerable."

But the floodgates had opened, and Olivia's anxiety reached a breaking point. Overwhelmed by a mix of anger, sadness, and fear, Olivia's defenses crumbled, and she felt a surge of panic rising within her.

In a moment of raw vulnerability, Olivia's anxiety boiled over, and she stood up abruptly, tears streaming down her face.

"I can't do this…. I can't handle this…. I need to leave."

With trembling hands and a heart heavy with pain, Olivia stormed out of Dr. Garcia's office, her sobs echoing down the hallway as she sought solace in the sanctuary of solitude. Dr. Garcia watched with a heavy heart, knowing that the journey towards healing would be a challenging and turbulent one for Olivia..

Olivia stumbled out of the building, her emotions in turmoil, and made her way to her car. Collapsing into the driver's seat, she buried her face in her hands, the weight of her anxiety crushing her spirit. In a moment of desperation, she told Siri to call her sister, Alex.

"Calling Alex..."

Alex answered the call with a cheerful tone, unaware of the storm raging within Olivia.

"Hey, Liv! How did your therapy session go? I've been waiting to hear all about it!"

Olivia's voice cracked as she tried to speak, the floodgates of her emotions opening once more.

"Alex, I... I can't do this anymore... I can't do this. It's too much..."

Alex's bubbly demeanor instantly shifted to one of concern as she heard Olivia's sobs through the phone.

"Liv, it's okay. You're brave for even going today. Take a deep breath and know that I'm here for you. What's going on?"

Listening to Alex's soothing words, Olivia felt a glimmer of hope amidst the chaos of her anxiety. Through tearful sobs, she poured out her heart to her sister, recounting the overwhelming emotions that had consumed her during the therapy session.

Alex's calming presence and constant upport acted as a lifeline for Olivia in her moment of distress. With gentle reassurance and understanding words, Alex talked Olivia through her anxiety attack, guiding her towards a place of calm and comfort.

As the storm of emotions subsided, Olivia found solace in the bond she shared with her sister, grateful for the love and support that helped her navigate the darkest corners of her soul.

With Alex's comforting words still echoing in her ears, Olivia took a deep breath and composed herself. Wiping away her tears, she started her Range Rover and prepared to head back to her dormitory, where she could seek solace in the quiet sanctuary of her room.

"Thanks, lex. I think I just need to go back to my dorm, take a nap, and process everything. I love you."

Alex's voice filled with warmth and love as she responded to Olivia.

"Of course, beautiful. Take all the time you need. I'll be here whenever you need me. Remember, you're never alone in this. I love you too. Call me later ok?"

"Ok bye"

After ending the call with Alex, Olivia decided to take a moment for herself before heading back to her dorm. She parked her Range Rover and made her way to her shower the instant she got into her dorm thankful bre wasn't in yet.

Under the warm water, Olivia let the soothing droplets wash away the remnants of her anxiety and tears. She reached for her favorite shampoo, allowing the rich lather to work through her hair, sending her curls into their natural state.

As she rinsed away the suds, Olivia felt a sense of exhaustion and calmness wash over her. Stepping out of the shower, she wrapped herself in a fluffy towel and took a deep breath, the steam clouding her like a comforting embrace.

Putting on a soft, worn T-shirt and a pair of boy shorts feeling refreshed, Olivia decided to take a moment to center herself before getting in bed. Olivia reached for her phone and set it to "Do Not Disturb," silencing the outside world and creating a bubble of solitude around her. With each notification muted, she felt a sense of relief and detachment from the chaos that had engulfed her earlier.

She finally got into bed, getting under her thick comforter passing out.

Fitz found himself at a flower shop, carefully selecting a bouquet of peonies for Olivia. The vibrant blooms seemed to radiate which was a perfect way to congratulate her on taking a courageous step towards mental health improvement .

Although he hadn't heard from Olivia since the morning Fitz remained understanding and patient. He knew that Olivia's schedule was packed with commitments and understood that her therapy session might have taken longer than expected.

With a sense of love and affection, Fitz envisioned the smile on Olivia's face when she received the bouquet. The gesture was a token of his support and belief in her strength, a silent message of encouragement and love in a language that transcended words.

After leaving the flower shop Fitz found himself at their favorite Chinese restaurant, picking up a special dinner for himself and Olivia. He carefully selected all their favorite dishes, knowing that the familiar flavors would have olivia doing her happy food dance

In addition to their dishes, Fitz made sure to order a large container of homemade iced tea knowing that it was Olivia's absolute favorite and a bottle of water for himself . With the dinner and iced tea in hand, Fitz made his way to Olivia's dorm.

When Fitz got to Olivia's dorm, carrying their dinner his anticipation turned to concern when he tried to call her and was met with her phone going straight to voicemail.

With each unsuccessful attempt to reach Olivia, Fitz's worry grew, his hands running through his hair in a gesture of nervousness. The unanswered calls and unanswered knocks the lack of response only fueled Fitz's anxiety, the nagging fear of the unknown clouding his thoughts. He paced outside Olivia's dorm, his mind racing with questions and the weight of worry pressing down on his shoulders.

Fitz pulled out his phone and dialed Alex's number. The phone rang, and when Alex answered, he could hear the worry in his voice as he spoke rapidly.

"Alex, it's Fitz. I'm at Olivia's dorm, but she's not answering. I've been trying to call her, but her phone goes straight to voicemail. I don't know what to do."

Alex could sense the stress in Fitz's voice and spoke in a calm and reassuring tone.

"Fitz, take a deep breath. Olivia had a long day and is still sleeping. I'm on my way to her dorm now, and I have a spare key. I'll let you in. Don't worry, we'll figure this out together."

Fitz relief wash over him as Alex's words reassured him. He thanked her and waited anxiously for her arrival, the bouquet of peonies and their dinner a silent testament to his concern and care for Olivia.

Alex arrived at Olivia's dorm, her steps quick. As she reached Fitz standing outside the door, worry etched on his face, she didn't hesitate to envelop him in a comforting hug before unlocking the door and letting him in.

After a brief hug, Alex gestured for Fitz to stay silent, placing a finger over her lips to signal caution. She left the room quietly, leaving Fitz alone with Olivia, the soft glow of the lamp casting a warm light on the dorm.

Fitz set down the food and peonies on Olivia's table, the fragrant aroma of the meal filling the room. With gentle movements, he took off his shoes and shirt, moving towards Olivia's bed where she lay sleeping.

Gently pulling back the covers, Fitz saw the stress lines on Olivia's face, a silent testament to the day she had. Leaning in, he pressed a soft kiss on her sleeping face, his touch tender and full of love.

Wrapping his arms around her, Fitz held Olivia close, the warmth of his embrace a shield against the battle of her own life. In that moment, as he held her tight, he whispered words of comfort and reassurance, his heart overflowing with love and gratitude for the woman sleeping peacefully in his arms.

After about 10 minutes as Olivia stirred from her sleep, she felt a gentle touch smoothing over her silky curls. Opening her eyes, she was met with Fitz's warm smile, his affectionate gaze filled with concern and love.

"Hi, beautiful. I hope I didn't disturb your sleeping."

Olivia blushed at his words, a smile spreading across her face as she wrapped her arms around his neck, a sense of relief washing over her as she released a breath she didn't know she was holding. Fitz rubbed her back gently, sensing that she may have had a rough day.

He pulled her off him slightly, looking deep into her eyes with a mix of tenderness and sincerity.

"How was your first session back? Do you want to talk about it?"

Olivia's heart swelled at Fitz's caring words, the depth of his concern touching her deeply. She took a moment to collect her thoughts, feeling the weight of the emotions that had surfaced during her therapy session.

Taking a deep breath, Olivia met Fitz's gaze, her eyes reflecting a mix of vulnerability and gratitude.

"It was... intense." Olivia said avoiding eye contact

Fitz nodded in understanding, knowing the weight and significance of Olivia's decision to seek help. He gently removed himself from her bed and walked over to the table, picking up the bouquet of peonies and their dinner. With a tender expression, he brought them back to Olivia, placing them by her side on the bed.

Fitz spoke softly, his voice filled with love and admiration for Olivia.

"Baby, I know therapy is going to be a long and tough journey for you, and I just wanted to congratulate you for taking this brave step to get the help you need. So here, my love, just a small token to show you how proud I am of you. There's more to come, though. You are worth more than cheap takeout, but I know this is your favorite."

Olivia's eyes welled up with tears as she looked at Fitz, his words touching her heart in ways she couldn't fully express. She reached out and took his hand, squeezing it gently then kissing it,

Olivia whispered, "Thank you, Fitz. Your love and encouragement mean the world to me. I'm grateful to have you by my side on this journey..thank you"

Fitz stood by the bed, a warm smile on his face as Olivia's eyes widened in surprise finally noticing the food completely and flowers .

"My iced tea! You remembered!"

Her delight was palpable as she looked at Fitz with a mixture of joy and appreciation.

"You're joining me, right?"

Fitz nodded with a grin, his eyes twinkling with affection. "Of course."

He climbed onto the bed next to her, settling in comfortably as Olivia sipped her beloved iced tea. She looked at him with curiosity, prompting him to share about his day.

"How was your day?"

Fitz chuckled, a playful glint in his eyes.

"Pretty boring, actually. Just studying and thinking about a certain someone."

Olivia raised an eyebrow, a hint of sass in her tone.

"Better had been me you were thinking about."

Fitz feigned innocence, a mischievous smirk playing on his lips.

"Nah, you're old news. I found a new hot chick, and she's going to be my hot nurse soon."

Olivia burst into laughter, playfully hitting Fitz on the shoulder.

As they finished their meal, the room was filled with contentment and comfort. Olivia and Fitz settled into bed, their bodies intertwined in a gentle embrace. Fitz's fingers traced delicate patterns on Olivia's skin, his lips pressing soft kisses on her neck.

In a love-struck haze, Fitz spoke softly, his voice filled with tenderness and adoration.

"Livvie, I can't imagine my future without you. You are my everything. I dream of a life filled with laughter, love, and endless moments like this, where it's just you and me, married, maybe some kids & just being together. One day, when we are well established into our careers you will see me on one knee practically begging you to marry me"

As Fitz whispered in Olivia's ear about his longing to marry her one day, a gasp escaped her lips, her heart fluttering with a mix of surprise and joy. Feeling a surge of emotion and now lust Olivia straddled Fitz, leaning in close to his chest and pressing tender kisses along his neck.

"you wouldn't have to beg that hard mister id say yes" Liv whispered into his ear grinding her panty clad heat against Fitz's semi hard erection

"Fuck liv don't talk like that or I may just have to fuck you senseless"

"Then do it Mr big shot"

Fitz looked up at her then suddenly flips her onto her stomach and she automatically bends over and She's clinging onto the sheets as he runs hus fingers up and down her spine.

Her beautiful round ass is on display for him. He can't help kneeling behind her without doing something he begins licking her all the way from her clit to inbetween her ass cheeks time and time again. She whimpers and makes unintelligible noises.

He can't explain how much that turns him on. He grabs her cheeks and squeeze and teases them and begins to kiss and bite them knowing it will leave a mark

"Mmhhh…Fitz.baby…I need you stop teasing me and fuck me.." She huffs impatiently as she starts stroking her own clit.

"Stop that". He can't be any harder than he is right now. He pulls her up by her ponytail and leans her back against his chest as he grabs her tits and pulls at her nipples.

"Are you sure you're ready for me baby?" He is thrusting his dick between her legs making contact with her clit with each swipe

"Yes..Im ready I can take it" she tilts her head back and he licks her lips and without warning plunges deep inside of her.

His movements are so slow, hard and sensual. She falls forward face buried in a pillow. He grunts and she moans as he slowly pounds harder into her.

He wants to go deeper and deeper. He wants to be so completely enveloped in her. He can't get enough of her so he flips her onto her back and I hooks her leg over his arm

"Oh god,.. Fitz..Right there..."

She cries out. He starts to roll his hips with every stroke and she's putty in his arms. She loves how easily he can find her spot. She's moaning and making sounds he has never heard

"Oh Fitz... Oh fuck... Fitz ..too much..too deep too big...oh..."

she can't seem to catch my breath. He's so deep inside her she can feel him in her stomach. Her muscles constrict and her cervix clenches

He grunts as her tightness strangles his dick.

"Fuckk...you can take it baby, it's all yours... you can take it..shittt",

his deep voice sounds in her ear. He does that thing of rolling his hips again and he finds that little power button inside of her over and over again. Shes crumbling with every hit he makes. If this is what sweet death feels like, she welcome it as my orgasm floods my being. She gasps for air

"Look at me" Fitz says slowing his pace to hard slow strokes holding her face with one hand

"I..I can't" as she meets him stroke for stroke

"Look..at..me" he says between kisses

She opens her eyes and she sees nothing but love and admiration in his eyes

He leans down so he is directly in her ear before kissing and biting it

"Im so fucking proud of you, for today. For everyday" he is now giving her lazy deep strokes still hitting her spot

"You make me want to be a better man every single day and I will never stop trying. No matter how perfect you say I am. Nothing is too perfect for you"

He looks up at the silent tears rolling down her face as she wraps her arms around his neck screaming as the strongest orgasm she has ever felt hits her. How did this man know exactly what to say and how to say it she thought after her orgasm subsided

"I love you so much Fitz" she pulls him down for a breathtaking kiss and he speeds up his pace to an erratic and hard pace until he grunts, shivers and releases a warm load inside of the girl he was going to make his Wife one day.

After They both settle down they shower and put on pajamas thankfully she steals his shirts and sweatpants

After mumbling confessions of love he falls asleep with her nestled into his chest

Olivia stirred in Fitz's embrace, the early morning light filtering through the curtains. She sat up, planting soft kisses on his face before gently nudging him awake.

"I have to get dressed," she whispered, "I have a 5 am clinical class."

Fitz groaned, pulling her back into his arms. "Can't you skip it, just this once?" he muttered, his eyes still closed.

Olivia shook her head, a smile tugging at her lips. "I wish I could, but I can't. And after class, I'm heading to my father's house. He invited us. Will you come with me?"

Fitz's eyes flew open, surprise written all over his face. "Your father invited me?" he asked, his voice tinged with disbelief and excitement.

Olivia nodded, her eyes sparkling. "Yes, he did. So, what do you say? Will you meet me there?"

Fitz grinned, pulling her close. "I wouldn't miss it for anything in the world," he whispered, planting a kiss on her forehead.

Olivia slowly got out of bed, Noticing the absence of the familiar sound of the TV that Bree always left on in her room, Olivia shrugged to herself knowing she may be at her boyfriend's. She made her way to the bathroom, going through her morning skincare routine before brushing her teeth.

Returning to the bedroom, Olivia pulled on her navy blue scrubs, the fabric clinging to her curves in all the right places. She could almost sense Fitz's eyes on her, and a mischievous smile played on her lips as she caught his gaze.

"Like what you see?" she teased, .

Fitz's eyes widened, a smirk forming on his face. "You know I do," he replied standing behind her pressing his morning wood into her ass his voice husky with desire.

Olivia moaned barely trying to get out of his grip "Fitz..I have to go"

"A quickie please? I just need 5 minutes" He kissed her neck and rubbed her flat stomach

Olivia looked over at her digital clock sighing "6 minutes max fitz im serious"

he wasted no time pulling her scrubs to her ankles and pulling his sweatpants past his hips bending her over her work desk

True to his word he was finished and cleaned up in 5 minutes

Olivia walked into her clinical walking over to Bree, who was chatting with another student, and pulled her aside with a slilly grin.

"Hey, next time you decide to not come home, you better send me a text," Olivia quipped

Bree raised an eyebrow, a sly smile forming on her lips. "Im sorrrrry, I thought I did" bree says knowing olivia can spot a lie a mile away

Olivia chuckled, nodding. "Sure sure. But seriously, text me next time. I don't want to worry that you'vebeen kidnapped or something," she joked, the two friends sharing a moment of laughter.

Bree rolled her eyes playfully. "Fine, fine. send out an APB next time im MIA," she replied

After a draining morning at clinical, Olivia finally left around noon, feeling exhausted but satisfied with her work. As she made her way out, she pulled out her phone and dialed Alex's number, eager to catch up and confirm their plans for the day.

"Hey, Alex, are you already at Dad's?" Olivia asked as soon as her sister answered the call.

Alex's voice came through the phone, filled with excitement. "Yes, I just got here. Where are you? Dad's been asking about you."

Olivia smiled, relieved that Alex was already there. "I just finished at clinical. I'll be there soon. Save me a seat at the table," she joked, the thought of her family gathering bringing a sense of comfort and joy to her tired mind.

Alex laughed on the other end of the line. "Will do. See you soon, Liv."

As Olivia made her way to her father's house, she decided to give Fitz a call. She was curious to know what he was up to on his day off.

"Hey, Fitz, what are you up to?" Olivia asked, her voice filled with interest and a hint of playfulness.

Fitz's voice came through the phone, slightly muffled by the sounds of the lab. "Oh, just spending my day off in the bio lab. You know, geeky nerd stuff," he replied with a chuckle.

Olivia couldn't help but laugh. "Of course, you would be. Are you still planning on coming to my dad's house later?" she asked, wanting to confirm his attendance and share the excitement of the family gathering.

Fitz's tone turned more serious. "Absolutely, wouldn't miss it for anything. Send me the address, and I'll be there," he said, his voice filled with sincerity.

Olivia smiled, grateful for his commitment. "I'll send it right over. Can't wait to see you," she said before ending the call and quickly sending him the location details.

As Olivia walked into her father's house, she was greeted by the aromas that filled the air. The scent of various spices mingled together, but it was the familiar smell of her and Alex's favorite BBQ ribs that made her heart skip a beat.

"He remembers," Olivia whispered to herself, feeling a wave of emotion wash over her. The thought of her father preparing their favorite dish touched her deeply, reminding her of the love and care that he always showed them.

Taking a moment to compose herself, Olivia wiped away a stray tear and straightened her posture. She made her presence known, calling out, "Dad, I'm here!"

The sounds of laughter and chatter from Alex and her dad echoed through the house as Olivias dad welcomed her with open arms. The warmth of her father's smile brung her peace

As they all gathered around the table, The doorbell echoed through the house. Olivia's father answered the door to find Fitz standing there, a warm smile on his face.

"Hello, Mr. Pope," Fitz greeted, extending his hand for a handshake. "Thank you so much for inviting me. It means a lot to me to be here."

Josiah shook Fitz's hand with a firm grip, his eyes reflecting a mix of appreciation and curiosity. "It's no problem at all, Fitz. I'm glad you could join us tonight," he replied warmly, before adding, "I would like to speak to you privately after dinner, if that's alright."

Fitz's brow furrowed slightly in surprise, but he nodded in agreement. "Of course, Mr. Pope. I'll be here after dinner," he said, a sense of anticipation building in his chest as he wondered what Josiah wanted to discuss.

Fitz made his way into the dining room where Olivia and her sister were seated around the table. With a soft smile on his face, he walked up behind Olivia's chair, leaning down to kiss her cheek gently.

"Hi," Fitz whispered in her ear, his voice filled with warmth and affection. He then placed a bouquet of flowers in front of her, the vibrant colors contrasting beautifully against her blushing cheeks.

Olivia's heart fluttered at the sweet gesture, and she turned to Fitz with a shy smile. "Thank you, Fitz. They're beautiful," she said softly, her eyes sparkling with gratitude.

Turning to Alex, Olivia's big sister, Fitz presented her with another bouquet of flowers. "And thank you for being the best big sister to our girl," he said with a genuine smile, his eyes reflecting his appreciation for Alex's role in Olivia's life.

Alex chuckled, accepting the flowers with a playful grin. "Well, someone has to keep this one in line," she teased, nodding towards Olivia, who blushed even harder at the mention.

As the evening progressed, they sat the dinner table, sharing stories and laughter. Fitz seamlessly integrated into the lively conversation, sharing stories and jokes that had everyone smiling and engaged.

After the meal, Fitz stood up and offered to clear the dinner table, a gesture that did not go unnoticed by Olivia's father. Josiah smiled appreciatively as he watched Fitz gather the dishes, his eyes reflecting a sense of admiration for the young man who had captured his daughter's heart.

As Fitz finished clearing the table, he turned to Josiah with a smile. "Mr. Pope, I have to say, your cooking is truly amazing. That meal was delicious," Fitz complimented, his voice genuine and heartfelt.

Josiah's face lit up with pride at the praise. "Thank you, Fitz. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Cooking for my family and guests brings me great joy," he replied warmly, grateful for the appreciation.

As the aroma of banana pudding wafted from the kitchen, Olivia's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Dad, you remembered my favorite!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with joy and childish laughter .

Alex, Olivia's big sister, leaned over to Fitz with a mischievous glint in her eye. "Just a heads up, Fitz. Olivia may actually strike you if you try to eat some of her banana pudding. She's very protective of it," Alex teased, a playful smile on her face.

Olivia stuck her tongue out at Alex playfully before grabbing a spoonful of banana pudding and leaning towards Fitz. With a grin, she gently placed the spoon in Fitz's mouth, a gesture of affection that spoke volumes about their growing bond and shared moments of sweetness.

Olivia and Fitz found themselves lost in each other's company, sharing the delicious banana pudding and stealing glances filled with affection and flirting . The sweet dessert seemed to mirror the sweetness of their growing love, creating a moment of intimacy amidst the family gathering.

Suddenly, Josiah's voice called out Fitz's name from his study, breaking the spell between Olivia and Fitz. Fitz turned towards Olivia and leaned in to plant a soft kiss on her lips.

"Be right back," Fitz murmured, Olivia nodded, a smile playing on her lips as she watched him walk towards Josiah's study.

With a final glance back at Olivia, who was watching him with a soft expression, Fitz followed Josiah into the study, ready for the conversation that awaited him.

Once they were alone, Josiah's expression turned thoughtful. "Fitz, I'm pretty sure you know the background and story of me and Olivia's relationship," he began, his voice gentle yet firm. "I want you to know that I will go to extreme lengths to ensure my daughter's happiness. So I have to ask, is this just a plaything for you, or are you serious about being with Olivia?"

Fitz met Josiah's gaze without hesitation. "Mr. Pope, Olivia is not just a passing fling for me. She is the love of my life, and I can't imagine being with anyone else. I want to be with her, to support her, to cherish her every day. I see a future with Olivia, and I hope to one day marry her," Fitz declared, his voice filled with sincerity and determination.

Josiah studied Fitz for a moment, his eyes searching for any hint of insincerity. Finding none, a smile of approval crossed his face. "I can see that you truly care for Olivia, Fitz. And if that's the case, then I trust you to be the man who will make her happy. Welcome to the family," Josiah said, extending his hand in a gesture of acceptance and support.

As Fitz embraced Josiah in a grateful hug, his phone suddenly began to ring, breaking the moment of warmth between them. Fitz glanced apologetically at Josiah. "I'm sorry, I have to take this," he said, before stepping away to answer the call.

Fitz answered the phone and heard his mother's voice on the other end.

"So, you have a girlfriend? When were you going to tell your mother?" his mother exclaimed, her tone a mix of surprise and amusement.

Fitz let out a sigh, knowing this conversation was inevitable.

"Hello to you too, mother,"
