Chapter 16: Stranded part 2.
( On the island)
"We are stranded. " Shiranui gasped in realization.
Yorrichi seemed calm. Now understanding the situation.. Both him and Shiranui are all alone on this island…
They left their cellular devices and beacons… they left their spare clothing and other essential items.. All they had with them is their weapons and current taimain suits.
Shiranui stared at Yorrichi's calm expression. He gazed all around at the sandy shores that they are on.
With rocks.. Crabs, hermit crabs. Shells and such all on the sand with the water coming up.
"What can we do?" He asked looking ahead at the jungle and environment ahead.
"I don't know Yorrichi-kun… the best we can do.. Is survive and hold out until someone knows that we are missing.." Shiranui says.. Sighing.
"If that is our only solution. Then that is what we must do. Let's explore and find shelter…" Yorrichi would say with his calm expression that never changed as Shiranui besides him would nod in agreement.
"You are right. We can find shelter or make some shelter Yorrichi-kun." Shiranui says with a smile as the two would suddenly hold hands a blush appears on Shiranui's cheeks holding his Hand staring into his blank calm expression. She wonders what be going on in his head that makes him so calm and collected.. He's not worried or have any sign of fear of whatsoever. She's saw proof of that when he fought the incubus king.
The two would venture into the jungle and then onto some hills.. looking for someplace to camp at.
Yorrichi was flanked by Shiranui's side as he looked all around. She had her naginta out incase there was any danger.
His eyes scanned the environment for anything that can be used for shelter.. the jungle was dense
"There." He pointed straight ahead with Shiranui following his gaze and looked straight at a mountainside which was several minutes away.
"That Mountainside? Where that cave is?" She asked him with him nodding.
"Yes. We should camp there. Take shelter. I would love to believe that's a safe place to stay in." Yorrichi says. Facing in that direction.
"Lead the way then Yorrichi-kun." She says as he would walk still holding her hand as they would walk right to their destination to the mountainside which is 20 minutes away.
20 minutes later.
The duo would be at the cave. Which is dry no sign of life within the cave. It seemed deep and dark the two would sit down besides each other at the entrance with Shiranui laying besides him holding her Naginta.
"You think anyone will know of our disappearance? Hopefully Asagi-Chan will send help to find us. I'd hate to worry Yukikaze-Chan.." Shiranui says facing him.
"I am sure Asagi-sama will send help to search for us. I'm sure Yukikaze will know that as long as I'm here with you, you are safe." He assured her.
"Then we will need to find food and water.. Along with making a door to our cave.." She says
"Then allow me to go get some wood. I'll be back. I'll make a fire in the cave." he says getting up and would leave but Shiranui stops him.
"Be safe. Yorrichi-kun. You may never know what's out there." She says he would nod to her.
"I will." And with that he would walk off to go grab some wood.
Shiranui would rest up against the cave entrance with her Naginta in hand waiting for Yorrichi to return with the wood maybe she and him together can go out looking for some food. Maybe they can fish. Especially with her water Nippo style she can catch various amounts of fish for the two of them to make and roast some fish. Maybe even fruit.
(With Yorrichi)
Yorrichi was gathering some wood after cutting down a tree with his sword as the tree collapsed and fell he would proceed to cut some branches and collect them.
In the bushes something was watching Yorrichi. It's brown eyes were gazing at him.
Yorrichi was picking up more wood and branches until he heard the bushes rustle. Turning around slightly he saw a four legged white wolf puppy that has a beautiful white fur coat that was like snow itself . Yoriichi and the white wolf puppy eyed one another. It also has a mirror on its back with light flames. Black Beady eyes.
It looked like a baby. As it faced him tilting its head..
Yoriichi noticed the white wolf puppy would make an attempt to move up on him. And nuzzled it's head against his leg. He got on one knee and looked at the puppy who chirped
"Woof" The pup Chirped as Yoriichi tilted his head in slight confusion.
"Hmm?" he stared at the wolf pup who stared at him with hope and adoration in wanting to open up to the swordsman.
A White wolf puppy comes up out of no where and just so happens in wanting to be adopted with Open Arms..
Yoriichi wondered where was it's mother? As he looked around for its parent... and that it's still a puppy.
"Woof! Woof!" The white puppy barked up at him
"I suppose you could come with me.." He says as he would get up and take the wood back as the tiny white wolf smiled and would soon follow him.
(Back at the Cave)
Shiranui waited. Until she hears footsteps she grabs her Naginta but paused when she saw Yoriichi carry the wood along with a white wolf puppy
"Welcome back Yoriichi-kun. And what's this? A new friend you made?" She asked smiling at the fox.
"You can say that. It's likely a baby." He admits coming inside the cave and put all the wood he collected with the wolf puppy wagging its tail following him and chirped.
"Have you given it a name?" She asked watching him put all sticks into a pile. As he lit his fingertip on fire and would light one stick on fire and put it on the pile of wood as the sun fire began to spread and brighten up.
"Well no.. but I have thought of one.." He answered seeing the puppy sit and stare at its new owner and master.
It was at this moment the White Wolf pup and Yoriichi formed a bond.
"I will call her Amaterasu."He says as the puppy woofed in approval of that name. Making Shiranui giggle.
"Fufufu naming her after the Sun Goddess Yoriichi-kun?" She asked seeing nod as the puppy instantly got into his arms nuzzling against.
"Well the Fire has started.. think we should go get some food now?" He asks
"Of course! I sure am starving." Shiranui says getting up.
"Well let's go and come straight back." He says also getting up as Amaterasu the white wolf pup looked up at her master and would follow him and his friend/mate to go get some food. Starting with some fish and maybe lots of fruit.
(Meanwhile at Gosha)
"Still no sign of Yoriichi and Shiranui? They have not returned from their mission?" Asagi says with both Murasaki and Sakura facing her.
"No.. what's worse is that they left their devices and cellphones on the cruise ship... witnesses said that a typhoon had struck the ship and probably took both of them.." Sakura says making Murasaki and Asagi gasp in horror.
"That would mean that they are-" Murasaki says until Asagi cut in.
"Stranded..." The Leader of the Taimanins say.
"What can we do? Sis?" Sakura asked with Asagi folding her hands together in a thinking motion.
"You know Yukikaze..will want to know where her mother and brother is..." Murasaki would point out.
"We will inform them. Inform all of our Taimanins to search and find both Yoriichi and Shiranui." Asagi says
"What if word reaches to the demons of the dark world when they learn Yoriichi is missing?" Murasaki asked with concern in her voice.
Asagi frowned. pretty much all demons in the dark world and to an extent the demon nobles even fear Yoriichi.
"If word does go out we will have to prepare ourselves.." Asagi answered
"Let's move. Assemble every Taimanin immediately so that we can inform them the situation." Asagi says with both Murasaki and Sakura nodding.
"At once!" They both says in unison and would leave.
"We have to get them back.. especially Yoriichi. He is our Hope.. for the Taimanins.." Asagi says with worry for the young man.
She can't imagine what it would have been like if Yoriichi was never around here to help them in their time of need...
(Nomad HQ)
"Is this Accurate Kiryu?" Edwin black asked his subordinate.
"Yes Lord Black. The drone followed both Yoriichi and Shiranui on their little mission however their little victory was cut short... the last thing my drone saw was a raging typhoon and suddenly lost connection... however sources tell me that both Shiranui and Yoriichi have vanished." Kirryu answered. Black raised a eyebrow at this.
"Hmph. Good riddance to him and that bitch." Oboro would comment with a nasty smile.
Ingrid kept a calm demeanor and looked stoic but behind her expression was a look of concern... and worry... for the Sun Taimanin...
"Yoriichi..." She thought with worry.. for the swordsman hoping nothing happened to him.
"I wouldn't say good riddance if I were you Oboro... you may never know... when he will return." Fulist says with a grunt making her look to him.
"I can dream can I? Dream where that son of a bitch can DIE. and no longer be a thorn in Black-sama's plans!" Oboro remarks
"Still... it could be a possibility of him returning... along with Shiranui." Kirryu says hoping this doesn't stop him from wanting the blood of Yoriichi to successfully create their own Sun Taimanin.
"What are your thoughts on this Black-sama?" Oboro asked her lord and master who kept a poker face.
"With him vanished... we can still operate and do our plans.. Kiryyu your little project will have to postpone until the sun Taimanin returns.." Edwin responds
"My lord. I would like to protest this. He and Shiranui could be ANYWHERE. please let me expand out more drones all over the world to find them. It would be a waste to shut down my project of our very own Sun Taimanin." Kirryuu pleads with his boss.
"Kirryuu does have a point.. it's better to keep those drones of his active. And that both of them are out there somewhere.." Fulst would point out
"Very well.. I suppose. Proceed Kirryuu. I want updates." Edwin Black says with a stern glare as the mad scientist nodded.
"Right away Sir." He would leave.
"Send an anonymous tip to everyone in the dark world about the unexpected disappearance of the Sun Taimanin." He commands shocking his subordinates in the room.
"What? Why my lord?" Oboro asked as her master smile.
"Let's just say I want to see everyone's reaction upon the famous Sun Taimanin gone without a trace." He admitted
"For now. Dismissed. You all have your orders." He told them who nodded and would leave their leader alone.
Ingrid was concerned and worried for Yoriichi. She hopes that he returns.. unharmed.. unscathed.. so that she and him can do battle once again...
"What's the matter worried about losing your rival so soon?" Oboro taunted at Ingrid who sent her a glare.
"You should be silent Oboro." Ingrid snaps
"If I didn't know any better it sounds like you don't want the sun Taimanin to die. You know he's an enemy of black-sama you stupid bitch." Oboro would say and before she could add more suddenly Ingrid's sword was nearly pointed at her throat. Oboro looked into the dangerous fierce glare Ingrid gave her.
"Know your place Oboro. I could kill you here and now.! The only reason I don't kill you where you stand is because I know you are nothing but just a simple pawn to Black-sama." Ingrid growled with venom in her voice
"You better take that back! You bitch!" Oboro hissed not liking how she's dubbed as a pawn to black-sama.
"Suck up your pride. And know your place." Ingrid responded with a sneer retracting her sword and would walk away.
"If I'm a pawn what does that make YOU to black-sama. You couldn't even defeat the Sun Taimanin!" Oboro says with a glare. Ingrid stops in her tracks the moment she heard that. She had to restrain herself from outright cutting off Oboro's arm.
Ingrid wasn't so sure what does this make her to Black-sama...? She has been his bodyguard... his enforcer.. his right hand woman..
Was she an expendable pawn just like Oboro?
As Yoriichi's words had echoed into her mind again..
Ingrid chose to not say anything and would walk away.
"Ha the mighty Ingrid the Hell Knight can't come up with a proper come back! I think you seeing that damnable Sun Taimanin has made you soft! Maybe if I EVER encounter him maybe I'll- GRAAH!" Oboro taunted only to find herself grabbed by the throat and slammed into the wall by Ingrid. And Oboro could have sworn she saw fire lit in Ingrid's eyes and a visage of the Dragon she has manifesting behind her.
"You will STAY away from him! Do you understand!? Yoriichi is mine and mine alone when me and him cross blades! If I ever catch you make any attempts on going after him I will kill you myself!" Ingrid snarled with her grip tightly on Oboro's throat who was gagging and couldn't breathe..
Ingrid dropped Oboro who caught her breath and would watch Ingrid leave to calm herself..
Oboro scowled hard at Ingrid.
"I am so gonna make that fucking bitch pay...!" Oboro hissed at the retreating form of Ingrid.
Now having left the area. Ingrid continues to walk forward.
"Be safe Yoriichi and come back to me. So that we can have that duel once again..." She thought hoping he comes back.
