Chapter 16 - My Only Light: Yang Wen-li - The Rescue Mission and the Awakening of the White Light Knight, Lilino (Part 2)

In the previous chapter, Selina along with the Galactic Imperial Navy and the Alliance soldiers came to Heinessen in order to rescued Yang from the evil clutches of Marissa. On the other hand, Yang was escaped from the hideout by Admiral Bewcock, who told to him that Marissa was decided to secretly proposed to Yang by arranged marriage, in which he refused to married someone who had hurt him from the past. But unfortunately, he was taken by the Patriotic Knights Corp and brought him again to Marissa at the car, in which she attempted to seduced him but he rebuffs her. Somehow, Usagi was riding on a motorcycle, trying to catch up but things are going unfortunate when the car felled at the cliff, in which Yang was felled off, hit his head on a rock. Later on, he was brought to the hospital, in which he was in a coma state.

Will he can able to wake up again? What will be the fate of Marissa after the accident?

3 days later, Yang was still not awaken yet from the bed. His apprentice Gerder and his fellow Alliance soldiers were take turns in visiting him. But much to their surprise that Usagi / Selina did not leave from the spot, still looking at him, and her facial expression looked anxious and worried.

" Aren't you gonna take a rest for a while? I guess you hadn't sleep for the past few days. " Gerder asked her

" No, I will never take a rest until Yang wokes up. I will never leave him by his side."

Gerder understood of what she truly feels.

" By the way, I guess the Galactic Imperial Navy soldiers had been seized the headquarters of the New Galactic Legitimate Government. They arrested the others while the in charge, Remscheid, was committed himself to death, when he never wanted to surrender." Julian Mintz said

" And the former Alliance chairman? " Selina asked

" He has been escaped, going to somewhere else. Reinhard's forces were searching for him. " Thomson answered on response

" And that Marissa? "

" No clue. When the police forces arrives at the crime scene, she was not there at inside the car, and the car door was opened but the mirror was break into pieces. I guess she had been escaped as well. They still continues the hot pursuit operation. " Gerder said

" I see about it.. " with her head nodded a bit

Later that afternoon, Gerder and the others were left the hospital. Usagi / Selina, was sat on a chair, still watching at him, hoping that he will gonna be awaken as soon as possible.

Somehow, her eyes was sore in red, can't stop welling her tears.

" Admiral Yang.. I had hoped that you will gonna opened your eyes.. Please, don't ever died that way.. the whole Alliance forces needs you... and I need you too.. please, come back to me.. please, wake up.. "

And she continues crying with tears.

On the other hand in an another realm, Yang (in his spirit form), was gazing around.

" Where am I? "

A mysterious voice said, calling to him " Lilino, my son..."

Yang, turns his back, seeing a stranger went approached to him. He wears a white armor and a cape.

" Who are you? And why you just called me, Lilino?.. I don't get it.. Where am I? "

" You are here in the spirit realm.. I guess you are in a coma state. "

" What?.. me, in a coma? "

" Yes, you were in a terrible accident back then. "

" So that it is why I was here. "

" And one more thing, I guess the Moon Princess, Serenity.. the one that you protected with the most.. was crying.. waiting for you to wake up.. "

" Wait.. are you saying... "

He shown in the clouds that Usagi / Selina was holding his other hand, still crying in tears.

" Usagi-sama.. my love! She was crying because of me.. I should've have known.. "

" That is why she was waiting for you to wake you up again. "

" Hold on, I need to asked you something. "

" Anything "

" Why you called me, Lilino? and Usagi-sama.. as Serenity.. but why? "

" Come with me, my boy. I will gonna show to you something that it will gonna interested you. "

He raised the white scepter, transported Yang back to the past, a thousand years at the time of Silver Millennium era.

A thousand years ago, the entire universe was in a great peace and harmony. No evil forces had been appeared or attacked anyone. Somehow, there were two prosperous kingdoms: the White Kingdom and the Moon Kingdom.

In the White Kingdom, male ones were born to be trained as powerful fighters. One of them was Lilino, the son of the royal white king. Unlike the other young men, he was been surrounded by his servants whenever he goes to, and often he played harmonica and other soft instruments.

When he turns 16 years old, his father sent him to a royal academy to become a knight and fighter. As he attended in the academy, he was became the most popular student due to his intelligence, talent and popular with their peers while the other men were secretly resented and jealous at him.

After 5 years of training at the academy, he went back to the kingdom, to fulfilled his new responsibility as the new White Light Knight. His father had been passed away due an illness a year ago.

Despite he was the new ruler, he learns some new hobbies just like creating magic spells and reading books about universal things (just like his present reincarnation does). Also, he do practicing archery as well. He was called " Wise Ruler With Many Talents ".

Despite his responsibility as the ruler, he doesn't have time to find a lady who can able to marry him. His advisers persuaded him to find someone who is worthy to be his own queen.

Somehow, his destiny leads to a straight line, in which he was crossed paths with the moon princess and the only daughter of Queen Serenity, named Princess Serenity, whom destined to protect him, by hired him to become her knight protector.

As Lilino stays in the Moon Kingdom, he was deeply felled in love to her despite she was unaware of his love feelings for her. Somehow, he was with her at all the times when she was doing her royal duties. As times goes by, he was secretly attracted to her.

At the day of the Princess's birthday, he was finally confessed to her at her royal room.

" Princess"

" Yes and what is it, Lilino? "

" To tell you this that.. I was in love with you for real. "

She was surprised of what he had said to her.

" You.. in love to me? I don't understand it. You are just my knight protector. "

" It was very obvious that a knight and a royal will gonna have a secret love relationship, doesn't it? "

" Yeah, but.. "

He hold her hand and said in a smooth voice manner " No matter who really i am.. I'm ready to take care and to loved you, Serenity... until we died.. "

" Lilino... I do really accept your love for me..even though we are different from each other."

" You do? "

" Yes, of course." with a smile on her face

Their faces went nearer to each other.

" I love you, Serenity.. my moonlight star.. "

" I love you too, Lilino.. my knight... "

They passionately kissed with each other. After that, they were having making love at the bed.

And so, they began their real love relationship but their happiness did not last long as Serenity was died in the middle of a war invasion. Lilino, was saddened and distraught of the news, had killed himself by jumping off from the tower of the castle.

Before he jumped down, he shouted his last words " I will gonna meet you in an another life, Serenity.. my love..!! "

And he died by falling down.

(Back to the present time)

Usagi / Selina, was still crying tearfully, holding his other hand. In that very moment, Yang had finally opened his eyes.

" Where.. am.. I? "

She was surprised when she sees him awake.

" Yang! You are finally awake, thanks goodness. "

He turned his head, facing at her, said " Usagi-sama.. why your eyes are so very swelling? Are you okay? "

She hugs him, with tearful expression.

" I had thought that you will be gone forever. I'm so glad that you came back to me. "

" Usagi-sama.. I promised that I will never leave by your side.. always.. and I need you too as well.. "

" Oh, Yang..."

" Usagi-sama.. "

Jerry Mouse came in, was surprised.

" Admiral Yang?! You are finally awake."

" Yeah, it is. " Yang said

" I will gonna tell the Kaiser and the others right away. " and he rushed out from the door

" How long that you been here? " Yang asked her

" For a few days perhaps. "

" I guess you had been watching over at me all the time, right? "

" Of course, is because I do really cared for you, Yang. "

" Sure " with a smile on his face

The news of Yang reawakened was reached to his fellow Alliance soldiers, and they were so very delighted of the news.

After a week of staying, he was finally able to discharged from the hospital. But somehow, he need to getting some rest for two to three days, in order to get back to his military duties.

Usagi / Selina, was always taking care of him whenever he needs to while Kaiser Reinhard was doing some royal duties. Despite she was Imperial royal, she felt that she belongs to the Alliance but still she loves both of them.

While she fixing some of the things at the room, Yang, was reading a book while lying down on the bed, asking her " By the way, I need to asked you for something. "

" Yeah, what is it? "

" How about Marissa? Did they captured her? "

She sigh with deep breath and said " Actually, she was not found yet.. I guess she was escaped perhaps. The authorities were still searching for her for the past week."

" I see about it.. " with slight nervous on his face

She put down the vase at the table, went approached to him, tapped his head with her hand, cheered him up " Don't you worry, Yang, I will never let her to get near to you. This time, I swear that I will gonna protect you at all cost. "

" Usagi-sama " then he smiles and said again " Thanks "

Meanwhile on the other hand, Marissa was barely survived from the accident fall, was reached to her place, her own house.

Now that Yang was finally recovered his previous past life memories as the White Light Knight Lilino, he must continues his duties to look after Usagi / Selina despite she was an Imperial royal member. Our main heroine, Sailor Moon, must do her ways to protect him from the evil forces including Marissa as well. On the other hand, the man eater was survived after the accident fall despite the police and military authorities were searching for her, to paid for the crime against humanity.
