A/N: Okay, Yes Silver is in the story, yes Manic and Sonia are older siblings in the story. In fact they are older siblings of Sonics in my stories. SO NO JUDGING!!

It was indeed Silver. He had dark green gloves on, his boots are no different, his arms and legs are covered in sports tape, though Silver wears a dark green cloak, he also had a black star on his left cheek.

"Silver, what are you doing here?" Tails asked in shock.

"I was sent here. By who? I can't tell. What reason? You'll see for yourself. And how? It's obvious. I flew here." Silver said calmly but had a grim expression on his face.

"Listen, things are already confusing enough so what's going on?" Amy demanded.

"I need you to do something for me first." Silver said as he deeply sighed.

Amy was going to protest but Sticks stopped her as she calmed down.

"Look, I have my own problems. I need to..." Knuckles said as he trailed off 'trying to know what is happening.'

"...You mean, you want to know what is it that your Sonic wants to tell you and what's wrong?" Silver asked.

"Yes! That's right." Knuckles said 'with a slight bit of hope'.

"Well things are going grim right now. Besides my task needs to be done." Silver said while looking down.

"We want to help you but..." Tails said while feeling a slight panic right now.

"Look. This task is for you guys to handle not for me." Silver said 'with reason'.

"Oh okay. Well do it." Amy said 'feeling pity'.

"Good. Oh and Knuckles. I listen to Tails if I were you. You need to stick together." Silver said flatly.

Tails looks at Knuckles with a satisfying smile.

"So what is it?" Sticks asked.

"I need you four to retrieve a stop watch that I need for a certain spell. It's in the jungle but be careful. Things will get real scary." Silver said and warned.

"We will Silver. I gotta admit, it's good to see you again." Amy said before the four they ran into the jungle.

"I wish I say the same. But I didn't think our reunion would be this way. Not in the living world anyways." Silver said while looking down and had a grim look on his face.

The four were deeper into the jungle. Though Amy complained about the mosquitoes buzzing around.

If Knuckles gets this watch he may possibly find out what Sonic was trying to tell him.

"Sonic... What were you trying to tell me? I wish I knew." Knuckles said 'while an image of Sonic smiling at him when Knuckles looked at him about 10 feet away from him was in his mind'.

"Oh Sonic... When this is done, we'll make it up to you." Knuckles said to himself.

"Hey guys. Here's the temple." Tails voice said.

Knuckles and the girls looked to see a temple 'looking unusual with a dragon style stone face on it'.

"Okay. Let's go." Knuckles said 'entering the temple as Tails and the girls followed behind'.

The inside of the temple was like any other, but creepy. Like a dungeon in a haunted house.

They passed through 5 gaps, faced 10 deadly booby traps (mostly spiky floors, giant pendulums, arrow shooters, and pits filled with alligators or snakes) crossed through 8 platforms (ones you would be able to get through a 19 feet pit), walked through thin paths (ones that you will fall in easily if he or she is not careful), swing a vine to get to the other side, and fight 20 undead army men.

Finally when they reached the room with a pocket watch in the middle. They were relieved to know they made it. But they had to face one problem. 'A giant unusual snake'.

The giant snakes eyes were red as blood, its scales (a black and red color), its pattern resembled that a giant forest fire.

The four were stunned. They never see a snake like this.

It's eyes locked on them. No doubt it was guarding the pocket watch.

The four begin to fight it while the snake tries to attack them with his ferocious sharp teeth.

Knuckles gave all his might, Tails used his lightning whip, Amy uses her hammer, and Sticks uses her boomerang.

then the snake blew fire at them. They dodged the flames.

"Oh great. Just what we need a fire breathing reptile." Knuckles said sarcastically.

"Alright, Amy use the hammer to smite it." Tails said. Amy uses her hammer to hit the snake in the face.

But that only resulted in her getting hit to the wall.

The snake turned its head to Knuckles as it was ready to turn him into barbecue.

"Oh man! I'm gonna be barbecued!!" Knuckles shouted.

But an image of Sonic came into his mind. This alone made Knuckles stand his ground and lift his head high.

The snake fired a fireball at him but Knuckles punched it hard enough to send it back.

Once the snake was hit, it let out a roar in pain before turning into ash.

The four cheered for a short while before Knuckles went over to look at the pocket watch.

The watch was like a regular pocket watch but the color of it was purple and shiny (like an amethyst). On it was an eye with a clock in the middle.

Knuckles grabbed the watch and said, "Let's return to Silver."

Tails and the girls nodded in agreement.

(Later)

They returned with the watch and brought it to Silver.

"Okay. We did your task. But listen. I'm in a hurry so. Least tell me what's going on and... Sonic what was he going to...?" Knuckles asked but trailed off.

"Oh guys you won't like what I will tell you. While you guys were doing my task. Eggman was attacking the village but he was facing Eggman alone. But Sonic cannot stand him while battling him and his robots. His rage got the better of him and he turned into Dark Sonic. He woulda killed Eggman if Manic didn't stop him." Silver explained.

"Oh God! Sonic turned into Dark Sonic?! Why didn't you tell me earlier?! Did Eggman hurt him or even mocked him?!" Knuckles asked in shock.

"I gotta get to the village now." Knuckles said as he rushed to the village.

Tails and the girls followed but couldn't keep up.

"Wait! Guys don't! You..." Silver said but couldn't finished.

"Not now white boy!" Sticks shouted.

"Good seeing you again Silver. Tell Blaze we said hello." Amy also shouted.
