Chapter 55: A Costal & Spiritual Connection! Vs. Elite Four Phoebe!
During breakfast the following morning, Michael was going over his battle strategy for Phoebe. Compared to yesterday with Sidney, his battle with Phoebe was gonna be some time after breakfast. As for Swampert, Michael had him continue with his training while his battle happened. Then after the battle was over, he'd personally help Swampert with the Training as well. Soon the others joined Michael for breakfast.
Ruby - "Morning Michael. I bet you're excited about today's battle."
Michael - "Oh I am Ruby. In fact, this is gonna be my easiest battle yet across the entire league."
Weiss - "What makes you say that?"
Michael - "You'll see."
After breakfast was over, the party made their way over to the central stadium. Michael was then escorted out to the battlefield, where Phoebe and Audrey were waiting for him.
Phoebe - "Ahahaha! I'm Phoebe of the Elite Four. I did my training on Mt. Pyre. While I trained, I gained the ability to commune with Ghost-Type Pokémon. Yes, the bond I developed with my Pokémon is extremely tight. So, come on, just try and see if you can even inflict damage on my Pokémon!"
Audrey - "This is a 6-on-6 battle between Elite Four Phoebe and Michael Masi. The battle will continue until all Pokémon on one side are unable to battle. Are both sides ready?"
Both Trainers activated their Battle Disks.

Phoebe - "There's a definite bond between you and your Pokémon, too. I didn't recognize it, so it's only natural that I lost. Yup, I'd like to see how far your bond will carry you. Go ahead, move on to the next room."
The crowd cheered as Michael left the battlefield. During dinner, Michael realized just how much tougher the rest of his League challenge just got.
Michael - "Sidney was only tough due to his Scrafty. As for Phoebe, Greninja made quick work of her entire team. But as for the rest. Glacia and Drake had one or two problem Pokémon. And then there's finally Steven himself. Something's telling me to use three Pokémon for him. But I welcome the challenge. Even with my Battle Disk, every match is nothing more than a challenge of wills for the Trainers and their Pokémon."
