Penelope had never taught anyone before. She also wasn't convinced this was going to go well. When she'd read Colin's writing it had been full of prose, lovely descriptions, and a loose narrative structure that kept you coming back. Penelope's writing was straight to the point, with little-to-no analogies, and would use one word where he might use five. (Polin week 2024)

Colin hadn't been looking forward to the Smythe-Smith musicale. He hadn't planned to attend as he'd been able to skip it in years past. However, he couldn't leave things as they'd been with Penelope. Colin pulled off the bandage that Penelope had wrapped his hand in and he carefully set it aside. Something stopped him from throwing it away, at least not just yet. (PolinWeek 2024)

This is a "What if...What if Kate didn't go to the Featherington Ball and left for India?" continuation of Anthony and Kate's story. While the show neatly tied up their love story, I felt it needed more angst. Some people may hate that but not to worry, dear Reader, I will eventually get to the happy ending you so desire (with a little heat along the way...lol!). Enjoy!
