Chapter 10
"Huh, things are surprisingly normal here."
These were Izuku's thoughts as he and his crew/class were currently studying Literature, which was being taught by Midnight. It was quite surreal being taught by Pro Heroes but it was even more surreal when something shocking was learned about Ben.
"Awwww, my baby boy is making so many new friends!" The 18+ Heroine cooed as she pinched Ben's cheek.
"Mom~!" Ben groaned with a smile all the same.
Hilda and Rosa couldn't help but giggle while Makoto muttered under his breath how 'lucky' Ben was to have Midnight as a mom, even if it was an adoptive relationship.
"We might have heroes teaching us, but the topics they're covering are pretty bland, in all honesty." Yaato thought in a bored tone.
"Well, Gramps had drilled into our heads most of the stuff people need to learn in society." Makoto pointed out, balancing a pen on his nose. "Don't know why we even need to go to school."
"I for one think it's nice to learn more about the outside world through their schools," Sumiko said.
"I still don't like the uniforms," Marco muttered, gesturing to his uniform, where his shoulder spikes had torn through trying to fit them through. "I pretty much already wear clothes via my armor."
When the lunch bell rang the whole of Class Might made their way towards the cafeteria. The reactions to the first half of their classes were varied. Some, like Rosa, Kohaku, Kobeni, and Rebecca looked wiped out. Others, including Bakara, Mukuro, Sumiko, Katsuki, and Izuku weren't bothered by the lessons much.
"Mmm, this food makes morning classes all better!" Hilda smiled happily as she ate.
Hilda, Rosa, and Kirby had all gotten a veritable smorgasbord of food courtesy of the Cook Hero: Lunch Rush. A lot of other students in the cafeteria couldn't eat but stare at just how much the four were putting away and Kirby herself looked like she hadn't gained any weight.
"It's good, but not as much as Kaachan or Yaato's." Himiko giggled.
"Oy, only two people get to call me that, Fangs." Katsuki pointed out. "Deku and Kirby. Do you look like either of them?"
Himiko was no longer paying attention to him. Instead, her attention was on a cute girl with half-red and white hair wearing headphones.
"No…fucking way…." Nia gasped.
"UTA!" Kohaku beamed as she raced to hug her friend.
"Hey, Kohaku!" Uta beamed as she hugged back. "Glad to see you all again."
An adorable squeal filled the foom; coming from an equally adorable rabbit girl.
"A Mink? Interesting…" Milo mused.
"Guys, this is Carrot, Yamato, and Vivi." Uta introduced as the three came over.
"No relation to the Egyptian queen." Vivi quickly added, then lightly pushed the last member of the group forward; someone Izuku recognized.
"Koby." the pink-haired boy Izuku had tried to calm down at the test replied. "I wanted to thank you for trying to help me…..Izuku, was it?"
Izuku smiled and offered Koby a fist bump, which the boy accepted.
"That's our Izuku." Kazuya smiled. "Always looking out for…"
Carrot was staring at the Pride Seraphim with wide eyes…and probably some lust at his peak time physique.
"I'm flattered, Miss Carrot," Kazuya responded with a charming smile. "That such an exquisite being as yourself finds me intriguing."
Carrot was pulled out of her musings and blushed before recomposing herself.
"Uta and Vivi's friend Ben told us all about you, Garchu." Carrot managed before smiling.
"Are you the ones Dr. Vegapunk adopted?" Yamato suddenly asked.
The Crew tensed for a moment; with the exception of the Midoriyas, Kirby, Katsuki, Ben, Hilda, and Rosa, they had tried to avoid mentioning the good doctor. So how did…?
"Yamato, some tact!" Vivi gently chastised him,
"My Uncle King is part of your genetic code and Queen has mentioned you once or twice."
The Seraphim cringed at the mention of Queen.
"I mean, he's better than Judge…" Sumiko mused.
"No, he's just honest." Chikara retorted.
"Not a fan of disease makers," Shun noted.
"So wait…your uncle is…Our DAD?" Yaato realized, making Yamato smirk.
"He won't admit it, and whenever it comes up he'll claim to gate you, but he tries to keep an ear open for you. He was proud to hear what you did to Overhaul…"
"So...I assume you're…" Izuku spoke up, realizing what was being implied.
"I'm Kaido's son, yes." Yamato bowed.
As Hilda, smirking at the interactions she did so, polished off a beef bowl, she suddenly noticed someone staring at her from afar; he was a tall, thin young man with fair skin, blue eyes, and long tea-green hair tied into a low fluffy ponytail and shorter streams framing his face.
"Who's that?"
"Oh!" Penny perked up. "I met him at the Recommendation Exam! His name is Natural Harmonia Gropius!"
"…What kind of name is that?" Kazuya asked.
"Sounds kind of weird to name your kid that," Lilique added. "But still, he's pretty handsome!"
"He prefers to be called 'N'," Ben said. "From what little we talked together, he seemed like a chill guy. He likes animals and can even speak with them."
"Yeah, he and our classmate Kouji Kouda got along really well in classes today," Carrot said.
Hilda continued to look at N, who seemed transfixed on her for some reason before returning to his food. The plump girl didn't know why, but she seemed to feel some kind of heat on her chubby face.
Ben noticed Hilda staring at N and seemed to develop a nervous twitch before relaxing and sighing, returning to his food as Penny looked at him in concern.
DEVIL
After lunch, Class Might was sitting at their desks waiting for their teacher to arrive. The first Heroics Class had many of them hyped up, no more so than Izuku.
"ALRIGHT, ZYGOTES! IT'S TIME FOR OUR FIRST HEROICS 101 CLASS!" All-Might announced proudly.
"And for this first class, we have a very special treat!" Nedzu added. "We shall be having Joint Training...with one of your sibling classes!"
"Which one?" Bakara inquired.
"Well, we'll just have to spin the wheel of classes!" All-Might said as he took out a wheel with only two sides that said '1-A' and '1-B' and spun it.
"Seems kinda redundant, don't you think?" Mukuro noted.
"Hey, it's essentially a Heads or Tails thing." Marco shrugged.
After a moment of spinning, the arrow of the wheel landed on 1-A, All-Might laughing heartily as Nedzu giggled impishly.
"I SHALL GO SEE ERASERHEAD AND INFORM HIS CLASS TO GET READY! ALL OF YOU, BE SURE TO GET SUITED UP IN YOUR HERO COSTUMES!"
Everyone looked in their desks to see briefcases loaded in. Opening them up, they saw the Hero Costumes they had all submitted were made and ready to be worn.
"This is gonna be so cool!" Izuku cheered.
DEVIL
Class Might had all gotten dressed in their Hero Costumes and were checking each other out.
Izuku's arms and legs were hued a dark green Armament Haki style. He had no shirt, revealing a cross-shaped scar he had gotten from his training back on Sabaody Archipelago. He wore a dark green bandana with a jolly roger on it and a straw hat he had gotten as a birthday gift from Rayleigh hanging by a cord on his neck. The Seraphim wore their normal attire since they considered it Hero Costume enough.
Lilique wore a cute puffy white and gold costume with angel wings and her Clima-Tact attached to her waist. Rebecca wore a black high-collar jacket with green accents that went down below her waist and a pair of matching sneakers. Hilda also wore her civilian clothes along with Rosa, the two friends wanting to have an approachable look.
Milo wore a maroon unbuttoned shirt with gold lining, cream-colored pants with a light brown belt, brown dress shoes, and a black and gold haori with a floral sugar skull pattern. Marco had his usual armor while having a brown high-collared cloak as his only accessory. They accessorized with three gold bracelets on their left wrist, a gold necklace with a scythe charm, and gold earrings with a pink gem.
Katsuki wore a neoprene black bodysuit with the exception of an orange "X" on the chest, the soles of his boots, and his gloves. He had metal kneepads, a metallic neck brace with two holes on each side, two silver plates on his shoulders, and two straps coming down from his neck brace with a red button on the left. His arms were clad in gauntlets stylized after flashbang grenades and his costume also had a pull-up hood.
(Knightmare Lord A/N: He's wearing his Stealth Costume from World Heroes Mission, just FYI.)
Himiko wore what appeared to be a typical school Sailor Uniform but those with a keen eye could see the fabric was padded and reinforced for protection. Her swords were holstered on her hip and she had a black flowing scarf with streaks of red. Mukuro wore her regular clothes but with the addition of military-themed armor.
Ben wore his Quirk Judge attire, figuring that his Vigilante attire could work now that he was learning to be a full-fledged Hero. His costume had been given some small modifications but that was about it.
Mipha wore a tiara on her forehead, an ultramarine sash, a pure white scarf, and golden rope along her left shoulder; she also wore waterdrop-shaped shoulder pads with gems and a Zora crest pendant attached to her necklace.
Nia wore a feline-hooded yellow one-piece jumpsuit with gold-trimmed white armor plates around her chest and upper arms and wore a brown utility belt around her hips with three daggers. She wore red and white heeled boots which came up at the top into large decorated white and black cones, which extended past her knees around the front and around her calves from the back.
Kirby wore a red and black sleeveless hoodie over a pink t-shirt and white pants with red and black boots and pink gloves with white trim and no fingers. Penny seemed to be wearing the same clothes she wore when she first met Izuku and his friends.
Bakara was clad in a white cloak that wrapped around her body while underneath was a Sailor Uniform-like outfit with a teal green blue turtleneck and leggings. Kobeni simply wore a black hooded cloak over a white undershirt, beige slacks, and black shoes.
"THEY SAY CLOTHES MAKE THE PROS, AND LO AND BEHOLD LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, YOU ARE THE PROOF! FROM NOW ON YOU ARE ALL: HEROES IN TRAINING!" All-Might beamed proudly. "NOW, SHALL WE GET STARTED, YOU BUNCHA NEWBIES?!"
"Hold on a moment, Toshi!" Nedzu's voice chirped as Class Might turned to see the students of Class 1-A stepping in.
Koby was wearing a scarf, a senior officer's Marine coat with the word "justice" on it, a merit on his jacket, and a green bandanna with glasses propped on top of them. Yamato wore a sleeveless white garment with a diamond-shaped design on both sides and an indigo, wisp-patterned bottom half. He also wore a pair of red hakama pants and sandals, and a large purple and white nio-dasuki behind his back. A hannya mask was also worn on the side of his head.
Uta wore a short white dress ending at her upper thighs; the dress possesses a frilly neckline and a black bow and buttons down the middle. On her left arm, she wore a light blue sleeve that covered the entire arm. Additionally, she wore a set of golden cone-shaped headphones with light-blue bands over her ears and a multi-colored jacket with numerous designs scattered on it.
Carrot wore a short orange dress with laced-up open sides with a green cape, a single rabbit paw-like gauntlet, and brown, high-heeled boots.
N was wearing a white, mid-sleeved shirt with a black shirt under it, a pair of cider green slip-on shoes, and beige skinny-fit pants, with a cube attached to his chain near his left hip. He also wore a black and white bracelet on his right wrist, a yellow rectangular tri-bracelet on his left, a blue and black pendant on a chain around his neck, and on his head was a white and black hat with a black peak.
"Howdy there, sugar," Ellie smirked as she strutted over to Kazuya. "Figured a fine sumbitch like you would make it in."
Kazuya chuckled. "And I'm pleased to see you made it as well."
"Taking both the Hero and the Support Course, hun." The rotund girl said. "Come by the lab later and I'll make something nice for ya."
"Izuku! Hey!"
The green-haired boy spied the rosey-cheeked brunette waving at him and suddenly was hit with all the delayed puberty when he saw her skintight astronaut-themed outfit.
"O-Oh, wow! I mean, Ochacko! Nice to see you again!" He managed. "You're um…you're looking…I-I mean!"
'There is nothing you can say that will not sound like a creeper.' His inner voice said. 'Just stop talking and subtly enjoy the sights.'
"Yeah, sorry…I was pretty vague on my costume.." Ochako admitted, then got a good look at Izuku and felt her face redden.
'DEAR HORIKOSHI HE'S HOT!'
"Oooooo!" The Seraphim all cooed, delighting in their blushing face before Hidla gently coughed and made them go reintroduce themselves to Ochacko.
It was then that Hilda spied N's attention was currently on her alone.
"You know, much as I like, it's rude to stare, ya know.' Hilda pointed out, seemingly startling N out of his thoughts.
"My apologies," N said, giving a gentlemanly bow. "I merely wanted to observe the future."
Hilda would've pressed on for more information, if not for…
"Momo-Chan!" Bakara beamed suddenly as she raced to someone.
"Bakara!" A tall, well-developed girl with onyx eyes and a spikey ponytail returned in kind, returning the hug, the two half-laughing and crying as they reunited.
"Awww, ain't that swell." Marco smiled, Click chirping in agreement.
"Alright, students, today we will be having 2v2 indoor mock battles!" Nedzu announced. "You've had experience outside and against machines, but you need experience fighting people with Quirks and in an in-door environment this will help you get experience in both."
"Since this is a Joint Class, we shall be having one student from one class join another student from the other class to form a duo!" All-Might said. "Then, we shall set up lots on who is the Hero and who is the Villain!"
"Wait, how will we decide who wins?" Ochako asked.
"How badly can we kick each other's asses?" Katsuki asked.
"Will the losers be expelled?" Nervously asked a pink-skinned girl with black eyes and gold pupils as well as a pair of rubbery horns poking out of her frizzy pink hair.
"How will we decide teams?" Sumiko asked.
"Isn't this cape crazy?" Proudly asked a French-Japanese boy with blonde hair and a sparkling smile.
"Settle down, students! Allow us to explain." Nedzu said. "And Young Ashido, don't worry, nobody is getting expelled."
"Here is the mission; the villains have hidden a nuclear weapon somewhere in their hideout. It will be the hero's job to find it!" All-Might explained. "For the heroes to win either capture the villains or secure the weapon by touching it. Likewise guarding the bomb until the time limit expires or capturing the heroes will result in the villain's victory!"
"Now then...let us get started!" Nedzu declared.
The lots were soon drawn and everyone was set up with their teams. Izuku and Koby perked up when they found out they were paired together.
"Well, looking forward to seeing what you can do!" Koby smiled as Izuku nodded.
"Likewise."
"Alright, everyone! The first match-up shall be..." All-Might then pointed toward a holographic screen that showed Izuku and Koby against Katsuki and a boy with two-toned white and red hair with a scar over his left eye. "Team Midoriya and Koby as the Heroes against Team Bakugou and Todoroki as the Villains!"
Katsuki turned to look at Shoto, who simply had a cold glare aimed toward Izuku in particular. The explosive blonde scoffed in disgust, not even needing to hear any words to tell what his partner was like.
"This two-faced bastard better not get in my goddamn way."
"Everyone else, head to the monitor room with us," Nedzu instructed. "Do be sure to take notes on your classmates' performance. It will be important later."
As the class did as they were instructed, this left Koby and Izuku as Katsuki and Shoto went into the building to set up where to put the fake nuclear weapon.
"So, how do you suppose we handle this?" Koby suggested as Izuku put a finger to his chin.
"Knowing Kaachan, he loves rushing straight into the fight but ever since we've been training together, he's become more focused and patient." The green-haired boy. "And Todoroki was one of the students who got in on Recommendation, so we should be cautious of him."
"Todoroki's Quirk lets him make ice but that's all I saw him making. I recall your friend can make explosions?"
Izuku nodded. "Kaachan also was trained by Red Leg Zeff, so he knows the Black Leg Style. If push comes to shove, you can handle him while I go after Todoroki. I have a few tricks I can use to bypass his ice."
"Oh man, my teacher told me about Zeff!" Koby exclaimed. "Alright, I think I can handle this."
"HERO TEAM BEGIN!" All-Might announced over the speaker.
"That's our cue," Izuku said before giving Koby a serious look. "Listen, Koby, I know we've only known each other for a short time but do you trust me?"
Koby was unsure but then nodded. "Yeah, I trust you."
DEVIL
"What are Midoriya and Koby doing?" Mina asked.
"Hey, he's getting on his back. Are they gonna do some kind of piggyback maneuver?" Makoto wondered.
Suddenly, Koby seemed to vanish into Izuku's back, surprising most of Class 1-A. However, the members of Class Might knew what was really going on.
"The [Castle-Castle Fruit]...this outta be interesting," Sumiko noted.
"Oh, that's one of my favorite ones." Shun smiled.
"…Fruit?" A boy with thick lips in a yellow costume asked.
Marco shrugged. "It's a long story."
DEVIL
Katsuki and Shoto had finished setting up the fake nuke. Neither said a word to the other before Katsuki stood beside the weapon.
"You can go nuts, Peppermint. I'll guard."
Shoto simply walked off to instantly freeze the whole building and trap Izuku and Koby.
"Fucking prick..." Katsuki scowled. He had very good eyes and he knew Shoto wasn't using his full potential, just cruising by and hoping everything would bow to his whims.
"I'll go ahead and detain them," Shoto said simply. "You stay here and keep guard over the bomb."
As Shoto left, he barely took two steps before a flaming fist punched him square in the face, sending him flying back with a bloodied and burned nose. Quickly stopping himself with an ice slide, Shoto slowly got back up to see Izuku with his fists on fire courtesy of the [Flame-Flame Fruit].
"You really think you can freeze fire, Todoroki?" The green-haired boy said in disappointment. "This isn't going to be so simple for you."
Shoto scowled furiously before lunging at Izuku, aiming to freeze him point-blank. However, a compartment in Izuku's back opened up via the [Castle-Castle Fruit] as Koby tumbled out and found himself in the bomb room with Katsuki.
"Heh, so you're that pink-haired punk Deku helped out in the Entrance Exam." The explosive blonde smirked. "Well, come on...bring it!"
"I'll do more than bring it!"
Koby's fists were coated in Armament Haki as he lunged at Katsuki, who delivered a blazing spin kick as the two attacks connected, a shockwave of Conqueror's Haki exploding off of them.
In the observation room, the students winced under the after-effects of the blow, and the teachers were shocked.
"Holy, I can feel that from here!" A boy with tape dispensers for elbows mused.
'CONQUEROR'S HAKI AT SUCH AN AGE?!' All Might gasped mentally, but smirked all the same.
"Huh. Izu's got company." Kazuya noted.
"You mean…" Carrot gasped.
"He can't imbue it as flawlessly as Cody seems to, but yes, Izuku possesses Conqueror's Haki," Makoto smirked, shooting a smirk at the others. "We'll tell ya about it after class. Just watch."
Shoto had just gotten close to Izuku to try and freeze him when he felt the Haki wave. Izuku barely even flinched but the heterochromatic boy looked paralyzed, which Izuku took advantage of to grab him by the face and unleash a burst of sleeping gas via the [Gas-Gas Fruit], knocking him completely unconscious.
Back with Katsuki and Koby, the two continued to put pressure on each other before breaking away. Katsuki recovered faster and delivered a flying kick aimed at Koby's face, the pink-haired boy blocking with his arms.
"Not bad...been looking for a Quirkless guy like you!"
Koby smirked. "Don't underestimate the Quirkless! Do you even realize how many Pro Heroes are Quirkless? My mentor happens to be Quirkless too!"
"Then show me what you can fucking do!" Katsuki laughed as he launched into the air and spun rapidly in place before coming down with an axe kick. "CONCASSE!"
However, before Katsuki could hit Koby, a beam of light struck him and sent him crashing into a wall. Koby lowered his guard and turned to see Izuku, aiming his finger like a pistol with light sparkling from it via the [Glint-Glint Fruit].
"You know I had him, right?"
Izuku giggled playfully. "Sorry, I just was feeling silly."
Koby rolled his eyes before rushing to the bomb and securing it quickly, securing him and Izuku the victory.
"Damn killjoy, Deku..." Katsuki grumbled as he peeled himself off the wall.
DEVIL
Needless to say, Izuku was declared the MVP of the match while Shoto was hauled off to the infirmary. Katsuki was still rather sour at Izuku butting in on his battle with Koby but let it slide for right now.
"I'll be expecting a rematch later, no interruptions."
The next match would be Hilda and Yamato as the Heroes against Mukuro and N as the Villains. Hilda was snacking on an extra-large chocolate bar to get ready while Yamato took some deep breaths to focus, holding a spiked iron club over his shoulder.
"So, what's your Quirk, Yamato-Kun?" Hilda asked, wiping some chocolate smudges off her cheek.
"Well, it's called [Inukami], it lets me transform into a mystical wolf-like form that lets me harness these abilities called 'Celestial Brush Techniques'."
Yamato then closed his eyes and much to Hilda's amazement, he transformed into a werewolf-like form with longer and more untamed hair, a ribbon-like trail of mystical ink around his shoulders, and a large tail.
"Whoa...it's just like that video game I played with Ben!"
Yamato blushed. "Yeah, a few people I've met here have said that. There are a lot of applications for this power."
"How'd you manage to come here, anyways?" Hilda asked. "I mean, no offense, but from what the others told us from what their master told them, your old man doesn't seem the most….open-minded."
"You wouldn't be wrong on that. But to answer your question: It all started some Months ago…" Yamato recalled.
FLASHBACK
Yamato stood over several badly beaten samurai and pirates in capes and fur suits, his father and the big-headed, hedonistic moron hosting them, Kurozumi Orochi, glaring at him.
Kaido himself seemed unamused but had the slightest hints of a smirk on his face.
"You dare strike at MY samurai, you idiotic…?!" Orochi screeched.
"They were skimping off the top of our offerings." Yamato began, missing the smirk on his father's face "And then decided to force themselves onto some of the women here."
"You're lucky Kyoshiro is busy, or I'd…!" Orochi began, too angry to come up with a threat. "Kaido, if you wish to stay here in Wano, then control your idiotic whore of a daugh..!"
A suffocating pressure filled the area, knocking out the remaining guards and making Orochi piss himself with fear.
"Misgender my son again…and I will mount your head on a pike," Kaido growled before he tossed Orochi to his harem and closed the door.
"Idiot forgets we're the only reason Oden hasn't taken him down already." The Strongest Creature mused before turning to his child. "…This is no place for you, Not yet."
Yamato's eyes widened.
"You can do whatever the hell you want. You're strong enough to give the Tobi Roppo hell and to be honest, you never were meant for this life. So, get out of Wano, Travel. Build your own legend. All I have is one request: When you get strong enough and find a crew that you think stands a chance? Come back and try and dethrone me."
FLASHBACK END
Before more could be said between the two, Hilda suddenly got a premonition and pushed Yamato out of the way as N suddenly came flying in, hitting the wall where the two had been seconds earlier.
Hilda realized that N's fist had transformed into a large flaming claw, which he pulled out before turning back to normal.
"Sorry about using the Claws of Groudon but I figured we'd get this battle started."
"That's his Quirk in action," Yamato warned Hilda. "It's called [Mon] and it allows him to harness the powers of creatures from a secret world called Pokemon, transforming into all sorts of different forms and using all kinds of powers."
"Whoa, no wonder he got on recommendation," Hilda noted before grinning. "But still, let's dance, sweetie!"
N smiled as scythe-like blades emerged from his wrists and took a Mantis-style stance.
"I eagerly await what you can do."
DEVIL
"Oh damn, this is gonna be so manly!" Eijirou Kirishima, a boy with spikey red hair and sharp teeth grinned.
Meanwhile, All-Might was shocked by what he had seen Hilda do to help get Yamato out of the way of N's attack.
"That level of premonition... Knowing where the threat came from mere seconds before the attack... There's no doubt about it... Young Whitelane has unlocked the Quirk of the 4th User, [Danger Sense]!"
Knightmare Lord A/N: Figured we'd end the chapter off here. The rest of the matches will be shown in the next chapter!
Here, we introduce N, whose Quirk allows him to harness the powers and forms of Pokemon because hey, I figured that would be the perfect Quirk for him. Also, yes, I am shipping him with Hilda. You're welcome FerrisWheelShipping fans from the Pokemon Fanbase!
Also, Yamato's Quirk is essentially his Devil Fruit...but more like the power of Amaterasu from Okami. We'll see more of it later.

Mrotax A/N: I added the Kaido flashback and hope I did good on the ship tease! Not much else to say, other than a promise that we do have an Orochi arc planned and yes, Kozuki Oden is alive and a hero in this universe.
