When Yuto woke up, it was to the tear-filled eyes of his Sons. "Yui, Mui" he said softly, reaching up and cupping their faces. Then he looked at his formerly severed arm in shock, "but, how-" he began. "That would be because of Sayuri here" a familiar voice said from the other side of the bed. Yuto looked over to a face he hadn't seen in nearly a year. "Tanjuro?" he asked. The Demon King smiled, "yeah Yuto, it's me. Glad to see you're still alive" he said, placing a hand on his friend's arm. "Barely it seems. What happened? I was sure that Demon cut my arm off?" the Tokito asked. "Like I said, Sayuri handled that. She's one of my Demons, and she reattached your arm" Tanjuro explained.
"Really? Wow! Wait, your Demons? I didn't know you had any?" Yuto replied. "Yeah, I have 6 of them now." The Demon King replied. "Huh. How much have I missed?" Yuto asked jokingly. "Anyway, you should be fine now, but you should still rest for a while. I'll leave you and your Sons to do that. Bye Yuichiro, Muichiro!" Tanjuro waved to the twins. "Bye!" Sayuri said, as the two of them left the room. "Father!" Muichiro suddenly wailed as soon at the Demons had left the room, clinging to him tightly. "Are you two alright? You're not hurt, are you?" Yuto asked worriedly, as he hugged Mui. "Are we hurt?! You lost your goddamn arm Father! That Demon could have killed you, and you're asking about us! Why can't you worry about yourself for a change!"
Yuichiro began to sob, "we almost lost you too! I didn't know what to do!" the older twin cried, trying to wipe his eyes with the back of his hands. "Yui," Yuto began as he hugged Muichiro, "come here Son". Yuichiro threw himself into his Father's arms, hugging him tightly, "I thought you were gonna die Father! We already lost Mother! What are we supposed to do if you get killed as well?!" he demanded. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. But it's the job of a Parent to protect their children no matter what. I couldn't just let you two die. I'd never be able to live with myself if I had" Yuto soothed.
"Father!" Muichiro cried. As he held his Sons and looked at the scar from where his arm had been severed, the Tokito Father made himself a promise. To become strong enough so that what had happened today never happened again. He had to protect his Sons. They were all he had left.

After that, it was announced that the Corps would be taking some time off to prepare for special training. Until, and during it, there would only be a handful of Demon Slayers going on Missions. Tanjuro was one of those still doing them. But something was off. During all of his nightly patrols, he hadn't heard or seen signs of a single Demon attack. He investigated places local said people usually went missing, but even those sites were abandoned, during the day and night. The Demon King reported this strange phenomenon to the Master's Wife, but there no longer seemed to be any Demon attacks happening anywhere in the country.
While the Corps thanked the Gods for the chance to prepare for their new training, Tanjuro couldn't help but worry. Muzan had to be planning something. And he was sure it had something to do with his Wife. Kie was the only Demon not under him to have conquered the sun. If that monster was planning on coming after his Wife he would destroy him for sure. Tanujuro spent that time with his family, playing with his children and happily watching Kie do so as well. Under the bright sunlight. One day he went to visit Akemi and her Mother, but was told by the Butterfly Girls that the Auburn-haired girl wasn't well. Tanjuro frowned, "maybe I can help. May I see her please?" he asked in concern.
Aoi sighed, "alright, go ahead Lord Tanjuro" she said, stepping aside to let him in. Tanjuro smiled gratefully at the girl, glad that she wasn't scared of him anymore. He went to find the little girl, meeting Sanemi on the way. "Oh! Hi Son! Going to visit Akemi as well?" he asked with a smile, noting the flowers he held. Sanemi blushed, "w-well, I heard that she's not feeling well. So I thought I'd come visit her" the white-haired boy replied. Tanjuro nodded, "I heard that too. I hope she's alright" he replied, thinking of the little girl he'd brought in previously. Soon they arrived at the room the Mother and daughter shared. Tanjuro knocked on the door, "hello? Miss Yukina? Akemi? It's Tanjuro Kamado. Can I come in?" he asked.
"Come in" Yukina's voice called. Tanjuro slid open the door, finding the walls full of drawings. But his eyes widened when he saw what those pictures were of. There were pictures of Shizu, the Mugen train, Enmu, Hakuji, Gyutaro and Ume, the Swordsmith Village, Hantengu, Gyokko, Kie in the sunlight and Yuto missing an arm and fighting against a six-eyed Demon. Akemi was on the floor, frantically drawing an explosion. "What?" Tanjuro asked in shock. How did Akemi know about all of these things? She'd been here since he'd brought her and her Mother here, there was no way she could have known about all of these events.
Especially the appearances of Demons and people she'd never met. "Mr Tanjuro, it's good to see you again" Yukina said awkwardly as she walked over to him. "What is all this?" Tanjuro asked, looking at all the pictures covering the walls. Yukina glanced at her daughter worriedly, "Akemi's visions have been coming in a lot more frequently and clearly than usual ever since we got here. I encouraged her to draw them so they weren't stuck in her head, and she's been almost frantic about it. So many of them have been about you, can you confirm that these things happened to you?" she asked. "Yes. All of them" Tanjuro replied in awe. For Akemi to be able to see all of this, and so clearly, her ability must be getting stronger.
Akemi shoved aside her most recent drawing, and Tanjuro bent down to pick it up. He frowned at the explosion depicted in it, "an explosion? What does that mean?" he wondered. Akemi continued to draw, the Demon King gasped in shock. After several long minutes, the picture was done. And Akemi dropped her pencils, panting as she did. "Oh! Dear, are you okay?!" her Mother asked, moving over to her as her Daughter clutched her head. "This is-" Tanjuro breathed, seeing the white-haired Demon with multiple whips lashing out around him in the picture.
He clenched the paper tightly, crumpling it slightly. Somehow. Somehow he knew that that was Muzan Kibutsuji. And looking at all of the figures surrounding him, he saw all of the Hashira as well as himself and his Demons, all moving to attack. Would they end up fighting Muzan so soon? And what was that explosion about? Tanjuro wasn't sure what to do. A part of him wanted to show this to Lady Amane immediately, but something in him told him that she already knew. What should he do?

The next several weeks were pretty uneventful. The Hashira prepared for the training, Tanjuro went on more Missions, but despite everything, he couldn't help thinking about those two pictures. If Akemi could so accurately predict everything that had happened over the past months, then who was to say that her Visions of the coming future weren't true as well. Finally, the announcement came. The Demon Slayer Corps Hashira Training was going to begin!
